How to assemble a construction trailer. Change house design, dimensions and drawing

When the site has already been bought, and the cottage has yet to be built, its future owners simply need a utility room. A do-it-yourself change house is purchased or built as temporary housing or even as a budget option country house. It can later be used to store garden tools, barbecue and furniture from the gazebo. Here you can also put clothes and shoes for gardening or even a bicycle, toys and other items that are used while in nature. Depending on what communications will be used in the change house, it can serve as a bathroom, shower, bath or utility block.

The change house-container has big amount merits. It is advisable to buy such a structure in order to live in it during the construction of the main house, and then sell it. IN overall design cottages, where everything is usually made of wood, such a structure will not fit

Independent production of change houses

Despite the sufficient simplicity of the structure under construction, a drawing of a change house is still needed. It will help to accurately “fit” the change house into the already existing space of the site, orient the builder on the ground. Foresight will not be superfluous. This is especially important if the change house is to be used in the future as a bathhouse or a guest house. The drawing will provide an opportunity to visualize how to build a change house with your own hands: it will help to make the correct calculation of the need for material and tools.

Choosing the best location

The location of the change house on the site is determined depending on how the owner wants to dispose of it later. It is necessary to immediately decide whether the change house will remain on the site or it will have to be sold as soon as the need for it passes. If neither a tool shed, nor a bathhouse, nor a guest house are needed by the owners of the site, then the change house can be sent to another facility or simply sold. Then the structure should be located so that it would be easier to hook it with a crane from the roadway.

Otherwise, it will be necessary to disassemble the building, which is always undesirable. If the change house will be operated as an economic unit, then it is recommended to place it in the middle part of the long side of the site. Converted into a bathhouse, a change house should be located at the far end of the site, since fire safety standards must be observed with respect to such a building.

Construction of the foundation of the structure

Do-it-yourself construction of a change house begins with the construction of a foundation. The change house is not considered a heavy structure, therefore, it is usually used for its construction. columnar foundation. If the change house is later demolished, it will not be difficult to disassemble such a foundation. For a temporary structure, it is better to choose cinder blocks - they are cheaper, and in which case they are easy to make yourself.

So, first of all, the fertile layer must be removed from the surface of the earth at the location of the cinder blocks, the earth should be well tamped and covered with geotextile, then covered with sand and tamped again. We install cinder blocks on the prepared base, placing them in the corners and every 1.5 meters. Cinder blocks must be waterproofed with roofing material or bituminous mastic, after which the wooden frame of the building is fixed by the anchor method.

The foundation for a temporary structure is made easier than for a permanent one: it can be easily dismantled if the change house has to be dismantled

When planning to make a permanent change house, the master should pay more attention to the foundation. In this case, the fertile layer is removed from the entire surface, geotextiles and 5 cm sand are covered, which are carefully rammed. Under the foundation pillars, you need to dig holes 50 cm deep in the corners and every 1.5 m of the perimeter. However, poles can be placed more often. We must cover the pits with geotextiles and fill them with 40 cm of well-packed sand.

The foundation is best made of bricks, and it should be 30 cm high (10 cm to the ground and 20 above). Reinforcement at least a meter high will be driven into the central part of the foundation. It is needed to fix the lag. Therefore, we leave an empty area in the center, which, after placing the rods, is filled with concrete. Don't Forget Pole Waterproofing bituminous mastic or ruberoid. We control the level of the single height of the columns.

We create the frame of the premises and the roof

When the question of building a foundation is no longer worth it, we proceed to the construction of the structure itself. We form the basis of the building: we place the logs around the perimeter and carefully fix it. After that, we lay the transverse and, finally, the longitudinal logs. We use a beam of 150x100 mm on the frame of the change house, from which we mount the floor and support posts in the corners. A reliable connection is provided by cuts in the logs, in which the bars are inserted one into the other and fixed with self-tapping screws. Logs are strung on reinforcing contours. To fix the vertical and attached logs, corners and self-tapping screws are used.

The frame of the structure must be built as carefully as possible, because the quality of the structure as a whole and its durability depend on it.

The frame of the premises is ready, now you can make the frame of the roof. For pitched roof need bars 50x100mm. Rafters will be inserted into the cuts of the supporting bars. Fixation occurs with self-tapping screws. For the perimeter of the change house itself, the rafters should go 30 cm. We choose ondulin as a coating, as it does not require special building skills. General design the roof necessarily contains hydro- and vapor barrier and insulation.

A crate of boards or wooden blocks is laid on the rafters, since ondulin is lightweight material. Ondulin sheets are mounted overlapping from the bottom up using special fasteners that are included in the kit. Now you can install doors and windows.

Finishing work

Well, the basis of the change house has already been created and the terrible question of how to make a change house on your own turned out to be not so terrible. However, the work has not been completed yet. We line the subfloor, not forgetting to treat the boards with an antiseptic. Between the two layers of waterproofing we place a layer of mineral wool. It is important not to confuse which side of the waterproofing should lie up. Now we lay the finishing floor.

Such a wonderful change house can be built with your own hands in just a week, if you really want to and try hard

For the interior cladding of the building, we use OSB, if the structure is temporary or lining, if it will be on the site for a long time. To fix both materials, it is preferable to use self-tapping screws rather than nails. Do not forget about vapor barrier and insulation. Outside, we sheathe the change house, for example, with a block house. It remains to make a convenient porch and the construction of a country change house can be considered completed.

Construction work is a complex and multifaceted process, for which it is required to provide literally every little thing, including temporary housing for a team of workers. An excellent option in this case can be a household construction trailer. It can find many uses, up to a kiosk, small cafe or even a mobile office in the future. Moreover, small trailers, converted into a house, are often found in suburban areas. They are transported several times a year, and this is the main advantage of temporary housing.

Having built a household trailer for yourself, you can turn it into real home with everything you need: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. And if you still doubt whether it is worth investing in a change house, then make up your mind - there is nothing to think about. If the design is made of sufficient quality, then it will pay for itself very quickly. Moreover, in the future it can even be rented out.

For the manufacture of change houses, only two materials are used:

  • metal;
  • wood.

Of course wooden structures they are cheaper, and if the sheathing is still properly processed (it is often a lining), then the change house will last at least ten years. If we talk about metal, then it looks more modern, is characterized by strength and the ability to withstand heavy loads, but in comparison with wood, this material is much more expensive.

Often trailers are produced on metal frame, therefore installation on a pre-built foundation is not required - any leveled surface or special blocks. The trailer can perform one of three functions:

  • be temporary housing for builders;
  • to be a guard post;
  • serve as a warehouse for building materials.

The premises inside the car can be separated or combined, but in both cases it is desirable to have a vestibule - it is necessary to protect against cold air from outside.

Completely wooden trailers are less common and then mainly on the sea coasts or suburban areas. A wooden cabin is an excellent conductor of heat, so it can be heated quickly. In addition, the weight of such a structure is much less than that of a metal one. But regardless of the chosen frame, at any time you can equip your trailer with wheels and an axle, “taking” some living space with you on the road.

With the help of modular structures, you can create a whole town of change houses in the immediate vicinity of the construction site. You only need to take care of water supply and electricity. If there is not enough space on the building area, then you can resort to vertical installation - the main thing is that the structure withstands.

Pros and cons of caravans

When compared with a household container or a rented apartment, the change house car costs much less and has smaller dimensions. Here are the main advantages of trailers:

  • acceptable quality;
  • polyfunctionality;
  • no need for assembly;
  • low cost;
  • the possibility of multiple transportation.

And now the disadvantages:

  • limited set;
  • the need for permanent storage space;
  • a large number of slots, connections (increased heating costs);
  • low fire safety.

Buying, renting or building?

Having stopped your choice on a change house trailer, you will probably ask yourself this question. Consider the strengths and weak sides each of the options.

Buying a trailer

The cost in this case depends on the size and on whether the car is new or already used. Here standard sizes: 250x250x600 cm. In this design, six to eight people can be placed, and the cost will vary from 40,000 to 60,000 rubles.

Smaller change houses are cheaper, but their comfort is at a rather low level. For example, in a car measuring 230x240x400 cm, no more than four people can fit, but they will be cramped. Such designs will cost from 24,000 to 32,000 rubles.

Change house rental

If construction works take no more than six months, then you can stop at the option of renting such a change house. It (option) has some advantages:

  • you will not waste precious time looking for a suitable product;
  • the trailer will be brought and installed at the construction site by the employees of the company leasing it;
  • in the change house there will already be everything necessary for living;
  • at the end of the agreed period, the trailer will be dismantled and taken away without your participation.

If the site has already been prepared and the place for the installation of the trailer has been chosen, then do not forget about one important point: after assembly, the change house must also be raised. To do this, take care of foundation blocks size 20x30x30 cm.

First step. First, decide which frame will be used. The best option is a ready-made frame, which can serve as a metal container.

If you do not have such an opportunity, start building a structure on your own. To do this, take wooden bars 5x5 cm 6 m long and build a frame from them (its dimensions depend on needs).

Note! If the size of the change house will exceed the average (we talked about the average above), then take care of the auxiliary fastening with skids - this way the design will be more reliable.

Second phase. Next, mark the windows and doors on the wall blanks, build a roof (it is better to use metal tiles or galvanized steel for coating). On the lower part install skids from bars measuring 20x20 cm or 15x15 cm and lay a subfloor. It is very important to check it diagonally afterwards.

You can use any available material for the floor, but a 5 cm thick board is best. Insulate with mineral wool.

Third stage. Then swipe outer skin using sandwich panels, lining or corrugated board. At the same stage, you have to lay a finishing floor (it can be a laminate, plywood or the same board).

Fourth stage. The next stage of work is inner lining trailer.

Note! In parallel with the sheathing, insulate the walls, waterproof the floor and roof. Although you can refuse to carry out this procedure if your plans do not include the operation of a change house in the winter.

Sheathe the trailer from the inside in stages, do not try to capture the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe room at once. Do it this way: first choose one wall, fully veneer it, and only then proceed to the next.

Fifth stage. final stage installation work is the installation of windows and doors, power supply. Then, if everything is done correctly, you can start operating the construction trailer.

To use the shed all year round you definitely need to insulate it. To do this, build a crate and insert the insulation plate into the openings of the structure. This material, as already mentioned, can be mineral wool(it is laid in a 5-centimeter layer), but you can also use polystyrene foam, fiberglass, and so on. Cover the insulation boards with special insulating material.

Pay special attention to buying finishing materials, inquire about the availability of a quality certificate from the seller. If you decide to finish the wagon with wood, then you can additionally purchase paintwork materials. Use wallpaper to finish even plasterboard surfaces. When laying a wooden floor, first install logs of appropriate sizes (pre-treated with tar), lay insulation and a waterproofing layer, and then lay the boards. You can cover the boards with linoleum.

If desired, a household trailer can easily be turned into a cozy bath. To do this, insulate the entire room and finish with lime lining, and then treat the surfaces with antiseptic and moisture-repellent agents. In a standard trailer, both a steam room and a dressing room can easily fit - you just need to build partitions with a door between them.

Note! Be sure to take care of drain pit next to the bath!

The stove can serve as a conventional heater, and an electric model.

As a conclusion

As a result, I would like to note that change houses and trailers are best option not only for temporary housing, but also for such architectural forms, as a medical center or a bath (this use of wagons was successfully practiced back in the days of the USSR). Today, in such structures, you can not only sleep, but also spend leisure time or even cook food.

Many people have suburban areas outside the city, but not all of them are equipped for living. Some use the land as a vegetable garden, while others only plan to build a house on it. But coming to the dacha in the morning and then leaving in the evening back to the city is not convenient for everyone, and sometimes you don’t want to. After all, spend time away from the bustle of the city, enjoy fresh air and the singing of birds in the garden is a pleasure.

But in order to come to the dacha and stay there for a while, you need shelter. The construction of a full-fledged residential building will take a lot of time and finances, but the equipment of a small country house from a change house will appeal to every owner of a suburban land plot.

A house from a change house can become like permanent place cottage living in warm time year, and temporary, while a full-fledged residential building will be built. It is worth noting that you can live in a change house throughout the calendar year, if you equip it with heating, electricity and water supply. And after the construction of the cottage is completed, the change house can be sold or left as a utility room. Read more about what a change house is, what it is made of and how such a country house is used in our article.

Types of cabins

Manufacturers offer a fairly wide range of change houses that can be equipped with everything necessary for both permanent and temporary residence. According to the purpose of change houses are divided into:

    intended for a country utility room;

    residential change houses, for temporary residence of workers or directly by the owner himself.

    can play the role of an office manager or superintendent.

Change houses are also construction, country and block containers, and according to their design they are divided into:

    frame.

  • lumber.

Most often, change houses are made at the factory and if you decide to order them, they will be delivered by truck already assembled. As for the dimensions of change houses, they are calculated so that the structure can freely fit into the body of a truck or trailer.

Features of block containers

For some reason, the word “container” itself is immediately associated with metal, and the idea arises that it will be very hot in summer and cold in winter. But not all containers are metal, besides, their walls and ceiling are insulated and finished both inside and out. Manufacturers of block containers make every effort to ensure that the use of such change houses is as comfortable as possible.

Metal block container used as a utility block

As mentioned above, block containers are not only metal, they are also made from wood. Metal constructions most often used as building change houses, the standard dimensions of which are 2.5x6 m, and the ceiling height is 2.2 m. wooden clapboard, PVC panels or fiberboard, MDF clapboard or hardboard. Mineral wool is used as a heater. The doors of the change house are made of fiberboard, and the windows, 1x1.2 m in size, are equipped with double-glazed windows. Buyers are given the opportunity to install partitions in the change house to receive several rooms.

Manufacturers of metal block containers give a five-year warranty for the operation of change houses.

People most often purchase a residential trailer for living from wood when they are going to build a summer cottage or to live in them on a country site during the warm season during their holidays. Therefore, such change houses are also called "cottage houses". Wooden block containers are also used as utility blocks, summer kitchens or equipped with everything necessary for year-round use.

Wood structures are much warmer and lighter than metal ones. As a finish, both outside and inside, there is a wooden lining. As for the dimensions of the change house and the size of the windows, they are the same for metal and wooden block containers.

Block containers can be used for more than fifteen years. Entire modular houses are built from such change houses, connecting them together and removing partitions. And if you put the structures on top of each other, you get a two-story house.

On our site you can find contacts of construction companies that offer house design services. You can directly communicate with representatives by visiting the exhibition of houses "Low-Rise Country".

Country change houses

Like block containers, country change houses are made of metal and wood.

The latter are best used for living in the warm season, and metal change houses are great for year-round use. Thanks to the corrugated board, metal structures are better able to withstand changes in weather conditions.

Country cabins are finished from the inside with fiberboard or wooden clapboard. The latter finish is more suitable for permanent residence. In summer houses are provided private rooms, hozblok, toilet and shower, and this is their main feature.

Wooden country change houses, in turn, are divided into frame, panel and from a bar.

Panel board cottages

The cheapest type of wooden summer cottage is a panel house. Such structures are not designed for long-term use, but due to their low cost they are in great demand among summer residents during the construction of a house. As exterior finish panel structures do not use a solid lining, but from the inside the walls are sheathed with fiberboard.

Styrofoam or glass wool serves as a heater. The floor in the change house is plank, 21 mm thick, and the roof is iron. Country panel houses are highly susceptible to changes in geometric dimensions, since their design does not provide for stiffeners.

Country change houses of frame type

The most optimal option in terms of price and quality is a frame country change house. As a basis, a wooden beam measuring 50x50 mm is used, which gives the structure stability and the ability to withstand loads.

The final cost of a frame change house depends on the material used as interior and exterior finishes. Manufacturers offer a choice of fiberboard, plywood or lining.

Important! The most expensive finishing option is lining, which, in case of shrinkage of the change house, does not swell and does not stick out, like other materials that also absorb moisture well and change their geometric dimensions.

The floor in the frame change house is double - it consists of a rough and finishing floorboard measuring 32 mm. As a heater for walls, floors and ceilings, a layer of mineral wool 50 mm thick is used. Also, the design has a vapor barrier - glassine or plastic film.

Country change houses from a bar

The most expensive, but at the same time more durable, is a country change house made of coniferous timber measuring 100x150 mm. Wall decoration in this design is usually not provided, and the ceiling, doors and internal partitions of the country house are made of lining. Manufacturers offer to choose the type of roof - one- or two-pitched, but the first is usually used for buildings up to 5 m.

If a change house made of timber is installed in an area where the winter air temperature does not drop below -10 degrees, then additional insulation of the structure can be dispensed with, but only on condition that the production process was not disrupted during the manufacture of temporary housing. If the beam is tightly laid and secured with metal brackets, and the seams are insulated with tow or linen, only in this case can one count on high strength and heat preservation inside the room.

How change houses are equipped for a residential building

For a comfortable stay, houses from cabins are equipped with all the necessary communications, the total area is divided into rooms, and several cabins are combined into one integral structure. The minimum number of rooms in a country house:

  • kitchen;
  • bedroom;
  • bathroom;
  • hozblok.

A bedroom in a summer cottage can be equipped under the ceiling

If more than two people live in a change house, then due to limited area installed in the bedroom bunk beds, for this, a room width of 2.5 meters is quite enough. Country houses from change houses are necessarily connected to the following communications:

  • electricity;
  • water supply;
  • sewerage.

To exclude the occurrence of emergencies, communications must be connected by specialists.

In a country house, it is necessary to make heating out of a change house, which is often a conventional solid fuel stove. If there is a backup source of electricity in case it is turned off, then heat the change house using electric heaters.

Watch the video selection country houses from change houses:

It is possible to install a hot water boiler and a radiator system. This option is especially convenient when the house is built from two or more cabins. In this case, one boiler is sufficient, in which the heated coolant will be transferred through pipes to the combined premises.

Country house from a change house, equipped with a solid fuel stove

The advantage of using several change houses on the site is the possibility of combining them with each other without compromising strength.

The use of two change houses, which are installed at a distance of 3 m from each other, can significantly increase living space house. When equipped with such country house you can accommodate much more people in it due to the fact that the kitchen and bathroom will be equipped in a separate change house.

So that the space between the containers is also used for its intended purpose, two walls are made that will unite the change houses, and mounted on top common roof. Thus, it turns out that the house is quite suitable for living throughout the year.

The space between change houses can be used not only for living, but also for placing a car. In this case, instead of one wall connecting the change houses, it is necessary to equip the gate. Also, the middle part can be used as a pantry or workshop.

Variants of houses from change houses - photo examples

When choosing a house from change houses, projects can be sorted out endlessly, especially if you want something original and comfortable. Manufacturers of change houses offer consumers a huge number of different functional options country houses, from standard to large and bunk. If you order several change houses at once for arranging one house, you will be offered a lot already. ready-made solutions their connections.

In the photo below, a project of a change house with a canopy. By extending the roof a little, you can equip a canopy that will protect the front door from precipitation. Aesthetically, this design looks much better than a standard change house.

If the change houses are placed at a right angle, as in the photo below, you will get a very interesting design.

From several change houses, you can make a capital modular structure suitable for year-round use.

If you need to accommodate a large number of people in a small area, then you can install a two-story building.

It is possible to build multi-storey buildings from change houses to accommodate workers.

Conclusion

Cabin houses are very popular. First, it is inexpensive and convenient option for temporary residence, accommodation of workers, equipment for a summer kitchen in a private household or utility room. Secondly, quite original houses are obtained from several change houses for permanent residence. And most importantly, change houses are mobile, if you need to transfer your house to another site and even to another city, this is easy to do by hiring a truck.

Sometimes there is a need for cheap temporary housing. Change houses are inexpensive compared to capital buildings, so their use has become widespread in construction site, and on personal plot, and the rational distribution of the area inside the mobile home made the temporary hut convenient and comfortable housing.

What attracts us to change houses?

Cabin cabins are made of wood (cheaper) and metal (more expensive), but each type of construction can be done independently, although you will need special knowledge and tools, a prepared room to produce a container. The welded frame of a metal change house allows you to withstand the load of the second floor of a mobile building. If you need a quality trailer for a construction site, then you should purchase a reliable design.

The advantages of change houses are not fully realized until the moment of acquisition of temporary housing. But if you already have a change house, then your workers will be grateful to you for comfortable living conditions.

Advantages of change houses:

  1. Fast manufacturing process at the factory or installation on site, which cannot be accessed by a handling crane.
  2. The construction of a permanent foundation is not necessary. It is enough to level the site under the structure and lay the foundation blocks.
  3. Change houses will cost you inexpensively, since their cost starts from 25 thousand rubles. Modern materials allow you to build cheap, but warm cabins. After no need for use, more expensive facilities are rented or sold. But, most likely, the change house will come in handy more than once.
  4. Mobility of a makeshift house is the main advantage of a change house, because a motor home can be transported from object to object, no transportation permits are needed. And if there is a chassis with wheels at the bottom of the change house, then this will greatly facilitate the unloading or loading of the structure. A trailer trailer is a more convenient option for a change house.
  5. Ready for operation immediately after unloading.
  6. Refurbishment of a change house - easy task, thereby changing the purpose of the product.
  7. When buying collapsible cabins, you save storage space.

The area of use of temporary housing does not end at a construction site or summer cottage, because a change house is useful in conditions of remote work in the field, as a warehouse, security post, mobile office, or as another housing near your home, the so-called. guest house.

Sometimes temporary huts are needed only for the construction season, and in this case it is worth buying inexpensive wooden change houses. The lining facade does not need special insulation if the structure is needed for the summer. But, more often, it is better to sheathe the change house with mineral wool, which will not only make the room warm, but also protect wooden cladding from decay.

How to make a wooden change house on your own?

If you do not want to overpay for the production services of assembling a change house, or you just need to be sure of the high-quality installation of a temporary house, then it should be done on your own. The manufacturing process takes 10 hours, provided that you work with electric tools together with a partner. In addition to the materials presented in the table, you will also need self-tapping screws, staples with a stapler and fiberboard panels for interior cladding.

Table 1. Materials that will be needed to build a change house
Material Characteristic Quantity
10*10cm length 6m 10 units
Board 5*10 cm 12 units
Board 2.5*15cm 1.5 m3
Polyester Thickness 150 micron 6*8m
Polyester Thickness 100 micron 3*10m
vapor barrier in rolls 2 units
Mineral wool Thickness from 50 to 100 mm 8 m3

The end result should be a wooden change house on a bar frame of coniferous wood, sheathed with lumber natural humidity. Lining is also used for interior decoration, but when installing a change house, stop inexpensively on hardboard or fiberboard. The moisture content of the wood should not exceed 12%, which minimizes the risk of cracks due to shrinkage of the structure.

The dimensions of a standard change house are no more than 2.5 * 6m and a height of 2.5m. Typical dimensions contribute to the rapid transportation of the structure on the back of a truck. The tree should be treated in advance with an antiseptic composition, and the floor, walls and even the roof should be insulated with mineral wool, which is attached to the frame along the edges with brackets.

Windows and doors are wooden, but for greater thermal insulation - metal-plastic. If you want to make a roof from ondulin or metal tiles, this will increase the cost of a change house by 8 thousand rubles, installation of electrical wiring - plus another 7-8 thousand rubles, sheathe the facade with siding, imitation timber or a block house - plus from 10 to 15 thousand rubles to the project.

The arrangement of the foundation for the change house is desirable, since if it is present, the change house will not collapse from the bottom. You can choose either a pile or block foundation installation option, which depends on the service life of the temporary building.

Each owner of the land seeks to equip it in accordance with their preferences. During the construction period, a change house will serve as a comfortable accommodation for a family or a team of workers. A special type of temporary housing may be a mini-house with comfortable conditions. The article will discuss how to make a summer cottage with your own hands.

Appointment of summer cottages

Simple in appearance, the structure carries great functionality. Its presence on the site is determined by many factors:

  • insulated change house is perfect as the main housing on suburban area. If communications are also equipped in it, then it is quite possible to live all year round;

Change house undershirt country

  • while construction is underway, the change house can be equipped for short-term accommodation;
  • often use it as a utility room, storage of garden tools, a mini-warehouse for very “necessary” things;
  • building can be arranged summer kitchen, a barn for breeding poultry, a workshop or a bathhouse.

Change houses country houses

  • There is a huge selection of ready-made change houses on the market. Manufacturers offer to additionally equip them for the present and future needs of the client. They can be delivered to the site both in prefabricated and collapsible form.
  • The standard width of wooden summer cottages is 2.3 m, height - 2.5 m, as for the length, it is 5, 6, 7 m. The maximum dimensions of a non-capital structure are 3x12 m.
  • The strength of metal structures, as well as the ecological purity of wood, leaves no doubt, so the choice of material remains only with the consumer. To the advantages of metal, one should add the possibility of manufacturing 2 and even 3-storey buildings.
  • By individual orders cottage change houses are produced with verandas, equipped with a heating system, air conditioning or other equipment. It is proposed to install related elements: sockets, plumbing with the ability to connect to various communications. Internally, the room is planned with partitions, which are located in the standard version or in accordance with the wishes of the customer. Often on sale you can also find two-story summer cottages.

Do-it-yourself construction of a change house

The construction of non-capital housing is quite doable on our own. Work can take from a week to a month, this time period depends on the material used, the complexity of the project and, of course, the skill.

  • If you plan to operate a change house for a short period, then this fact will significantly save on interior arrangement premises. You can refuse internal partitions, install a minimum of sockets, use cheaper materials for sheathing, etc. If the building is planned to be used long time, then it is recommended to choose a project for a country change house with a shower and a toilet.

Layout of a change house country photo

  • There are a lot of things to think about before building. important points, even with the condition of temporary residence.
  • The foundation is necessary in any case. Usually a base of pillars is used, which are located at the corners and long sides of the building. The distance between them should not exceed 2.5 m.
  • A gravel pad, equipped before laying the pillars, will serve as an obstacle to breaking trees and plants.
  • The site for construction is selected on a hill, which will prevent flooding by melt and rainwater. If this condition is not feasible for a number of reasons, then storm drains are necessarily equipped.
  • Window and door openings are placed on one side or on adjacent walls facing south or east.
  • If you install a change house near the power line, it will be possible to significantly reduce the cost of laying overhead electrical wiring.

Material for the manufacture of country houses

Materials for a mobile structure are selected depending on the scope of the structure, financial capabilities.

  • Foundation. During construction, preference is given to columnar or pile foundation. The farther apart the pillars (piles), the more reliable the grillage should be. It makes no sense to carry out labor-intensive and expensive work on the arrangement of a capital foundation.
  • Frame. The basis of any structure is a frame made of metal or wood. Change houses completely ready for operation are made from a channel and metal corners. wooden frame implies both a prefabricated and a stationary structure.
  • External finishing. Sheathing is carried out by means of profile sheets, siding, clapboard, block house, etc.
  • Warming. Thermal insulation is given Special attention. Styrofoam, glass wool are used to insulate a country change house, the seams are sealed with foam. The floors are also laid with heat and waterproofing materials.
  • Interior decoration. The room is sheathed with hardboard, clapboard, MDF or PVC panels. During temporary use, the walls are upholstered with edged boards.

  • Doors. Iron, plastic are installed on doorways wooden crafts. When arranging openings, special attention is paid to their strengthening. Due to soil movements, not the solidity of the mini-house, horizontal and vertical beams can warp and make it difficult to open / close the door leaf.
  • Window. There are only two materials for making frames - wood and plastic. Metal shutters can be installed to protect windows from intruders and vandals. IN Lately roller shutters are popular with developers.
  • Roof. Often the roof for this building has one slope, less often it is equipped gable roof. The slope should not be less than 20 °, this will allow snow masses and rainwater not to accumulate on the surface. As a coating, a profiled sheet or slate is selected.
  • Layout. Country change house can be two-room or not contain any partitions. Change houses come with attached veranda, shower, toilet, etc. The layout and availability of various amenities depends on the desire and financial capabilities of the developer.

Stages of construction of a summer cottage with their own hands

Based general information regarding the choice of material is an approximate cost estimate. A more accurate calculation is carried out using a drawing plan of the future building.

Base for frame

  • Under the foundation, the site is cleared of debris, plant roots, etc. Excavation is carried out with a depth of 15-20 cm, slightly more than the perimeter of the building. Sand is poured at the bottom with a layer of 10 cm, moistened and carefully rammed.
  • Pillars made of bricks cement mortar laid out with a height of 20-30 cm. Perfect for these purposes concrete blocks. They are located at the corners of the change house, the pillars installed in the middle of the long side of the building will help to further strengthen the base.

  • The area around the pillars is covered with rubble of a large fraction. Lime added to the gravel will help protect the underground space from nesting rodents or other living creatures.
  • If the site on which construction is being carried out has a slope, then the height of the columns must be varied, that is, set at different heights.

Bottom trim

  • The channel acts as a grillage. It can be fixed by anchor bolts in advance drilled holes in metal and supports.
  • If wooden bars are laid on the pillars (piles), the thickness of which should be at least 100x50 mm, then the heads are covered with 2 layers of roofing material or smeared with bituminous mastic. The wood is treated with impregnations that protect against decay and damage by insects.

Frame assembly

  • Vertical bars with a section of 40x40 mm or 50x50 mm are set in the corners. Bars that form a wall with front door should be 15-20 cm higher than the rear ones, depending on the planned roof slope.

  • From above, the upper strapping is made. fasteners wooden parts performed with nails, screws or using metal corners.
  • The distance between the verticals, as a rule, is 60 cm. The countdown should be carried out from the corner of the building to the windows, from windows to doorways. Horizontal lintels are immediately exposed, which will serve as supports for the double-glazed windows and the door frame.
  • The transverse bars, which serve to strengthen the frame, are located in the middle of the length of the wall. If you plan to install drywall, then the crossbars are installed according to the dimensions of the sheet.
  • On a short wall, logs are placed on the lower trim; lumber with a section of 100x50 mm can be used here. For this in lower bars grooves are cut along the width of the log with a depth of 25 mm, in the same way, grooves are selected from the ends of the supports.
  • Logs can also be installed in the form of spacers between the bars bottom strapping. In this case, fixing is done with metal corners and self-tapping screws. On top of them tightly to each other are nailed edged boards, you can put and sheet material - chipboard or DVP.
  • Then lags are again installed, which can be placed both along and across the walls. The step between the floor supports is selected according to the floor covering, but it should not be less than 50 cm. A layer is laid between them waterproofing material and a layer of insulation.
  • Next, lay flooring. If linoleum is used, then it is fixed on the logs wood plate or drywall sheets.

Roof, ceiling

  • Equipped on the upper harness rafter system, the pitch of which is 600-800 mm. Cross bars are mounted at a distance of 500 mm. This design of the crate is suitable for a coating of profiled sheet and slate.

  • FROM inside waterproofing and insulation are placed in the resulting cells. The cake is closed with sheets of plywood, fiberboard, chipboard, and drywall can also be used.

Walls

  • FROM outer side surfaces are sheathed with clapboard, siding, profiled sheets, glass-magnesium sheets.
  • Sheathing can be done with horizontally arranged boards. Their installation starts from the lowest point, the next row is located with a small spade on the previous board. This method will increase the consumption of lumber, but at the same time provide protection from the penetration of wind and raindrops.
  • It would be useful to recall that all the wooden components of the structure are pre-treated with impregnating agents. The preparations will protect surfaces from the effects of aggressive environments, which will significantly extend their service life.

  • From the inside, the walls can be sheathed with those materials that were used for outdoor work. between outside and interior walls if necessary, insulation boards are laid.
  • If the summer cottage is equipped with a toilet or shower, then it is advisable to close the walls with plastic panels.
  • Wiring is carried out in metal or plastic sleeves;
  • the location of electrical appliances (lights, sockets, switches, air conditioning, etc.), as well as the shower and other plumbing, are calculated in advance;
  • in places where heavy objects are attached to the wall, it is necessary to install an additional cross member, on which, in principle, they will be fixed;
  • for the arrangement of the bathroom area, only moisture-resistant materials are used. Portable dry closets are an excellent option;
  • on the roof, you can install a tank from which water will flow into the shower, taps, etc. To operate the change house in winter period a boiler is installed;
  • as a heater they use: bulk materials, mineral wool, expanded polystyrene sheets, glass wool.
  • to heat the premises, stoves and heaters operating on solid and liquid fuels, gas, as well as electrical devices. It should be remembered that heating efficiency is achieved in conjunction with competently and efficiently insulated structural elements(floor, walls, roof).

Country change houses of the increased comfort

  • Change houses with 2 floors are distinguished by increased comfort for living. This, of course, is due to the increased area. The space allows you to place a bathroom and shower, kitchen area set aside a place to rest.
  • The ascent to the 2nd floor is carried out by means of a ladder; due to the mobility of the structure, the arrangement of the stairs inside the change house is not provided.
  • When choosing such a structure, a more solid foundation is selected. A tape type of foundation is formed here, and a pile-stuffed foundation is also perfect.

In any case, is there a desire to buy a ready-made country house or build it with my own hands, the main thing is to correctly select the material and make a layout depending on its purpose.
