The layer of glue should be applied evenly along the entire length of the seam. It should be no higher than 4 mm.
Rushing to remove excess adhesive is not recommended. Wait until it is completely dry to avoid peeling off the adhesive from the edges of the linoleum.
Fresh cold weld is elastic and can spring back if it is stretched to leave a depression when the excess is removed.
