Which cuisine is better to choose. Furniture for those who cook, or how to choose the perfect kitchen

We figure out how to inexpensively buy high-quality cuisine, ready-made or to order, and not overpay at the same time - the secrets of inexpensive cuisine from the pros. Permanent expert site interior designer Yanina Krasnova told what options you can save on without compromising the quality and convenience of the kitchen. Choose the ones that are right for you.

Comparing prices correctly

  • Make a calculation of the cost of the future kitchen in several companies. Important point: it makes sense to compare prices only when you have a clear vision in your head, and in your hands - a kitchen set project with dimensions and a list of materials and accessories (professionals call it a specification).
Different manufacturers use different materials. To find a really inexpensive headset option, compare prices for specific materials and positions.
In one company you were called very low price, while the other three competitors have a noticeably higher cost? It is possible that an unscrupulous manufacturer simply uses cheap poor quality materials. Take an interest in the brand of MDF, chipboard, plastic and other headset elements and ask the seller for safety certificates for them.

Discounts, promotions and sales

  • Quality and beautiful cuisine you can buy very inexpensively at the sale of exhibition samples in furniture stores. On the websites of major manufacturers kitchen furniture usually there is a special section where headsets are presented, which can be purchased at a special price. Sometimes the discount can reach 60-70%. Often ready-made headsets are sold together with built-in appliances, fittings, hood, countertop, sink and faucet.
Example: at the time of publication of the article, a Mix22 kitchen from the Maria factory with a length of 2144 mm with Beko and Elikor appliances, a Franke sink, a plastic worktop with an initial price of 236 thousand rubles could be bought at a 45% discount for 130 thousand rubles.
  • Buy inexpensive cuisine from the stand you can also attend furniture exhibitions (in Moscow they are regularly held at the Expocentre and Crocus Expo) The main thing is to have time to book the set you like.
  • Kitchen sellers often offer promotions and discounts. But be careful: sometimes special prices turn out to be just marketing tricks. For example, a discount on a countertop can only be valid if you order a turnkey kitchen in the showroom along with all household appliances and accessories.

We buy headsets in parts

  • A good way to get a good and inexpensive kitchen is to take a ready-made case the right sizes, for example, in , and order facades separately. Some firms specialize in the manufacture of facades, and they work not only in Moscow and the region, but also make delivery throughout Russia.
  • Another option is to order inexpensive cabinet cases from a small furniture factory or a private trader, and choose more expensive facades from a specialized company or the same IKEA.

Which cabinets are cheaper

The main rule is that the simpler the design of kitchen modules, the cheaper the kitchen.

Inexpensive cuisine = standard?

  • As a rule, yes. If you want to spend less, you'll have to limit yourself standard sizes modules and facades. Almost any manufacturer can make a kitchen according to your individual dimensions. But most furniture companies, especially large factories, in this case will take an extra charge for non-standard (usually 25-30%). Some private manufacturers do not make a margin. But here, how lucky - there may be problems with the quality of work and materials, warranty and terms.

facades

  • The most inexpensive facades are smooth, deaf, without milling. If you are counting on an economy class kitchen, you will have to abandon the radius (bent) and paneled (frame) doors.
  • Budget option - models with facades made of laminated chipboard. But even the most inexpensive MDF kitchens are much stronger, more environmentally friendly and last much longer. Ask the consultant to calculate your headset in both options. It is likely that the difference will be quite small.
  • Combine budget materials with more expensive ones. For example, the facades of the lower cabinets can be ordered from chipboard in plastic or MDF in PVC film, and the upper ones - from better and more effective MDF with high gloss enamel. A great way to make an inexpensive kitchen more respectable and more expensive.
  • If you need an inexpensive glossy kitchen, pay attention to headsets with facades covered with a glossy PVC film. Of course, such mirror shine, as in acrylic enamel they won't give. But MDF with a film costs 25-40 percent cheaper than plastic and 40-60 percent cheaper than painted ones.
  • If your budget for the purchase of a kitchen is limited, and you have always dreamed of a solid wood set, take a closer look at MDF facades with natural wood veneer veneer. In appearance, it is almost impossible to distinguish them from wooden ones, and the price is noticeably lower.
  • Kitchens in modern style with smooth, laconic facades are much cheaper than classics with intricate milling, complex finishes, gratings and stained glass inserts.
  • In inexpensive kitchen projects, designers try to do without glass facades or use them to a minimum. Transparent glass is cheaper than frosted or painted (lacobel), but translucent doors look better - the look of the contents of the cabinets will not create a sense of disorder.

How to save on accessories wisely?

A significant part of the budget when ordering a headset is eaten up by the filling. Is it possible to save on it, without compromising the convenience of the kitchen?

  • When planning your kitchen, think about which cabinets you will use most often. It is on them that you should put the highest quality, reliable and convenient fittings, and you can save a little on the rest.
  • Tip: It's best to invest in lower cabinets to make them as roomy and comfortable as possible.

  • Expensive rails (metaboxes and tandemboxes) can be paired with the heaviest, deepest and most sought-after drawers, such as for pots, pans and groceries. On the rest, you can get by with inexpensive, but fairly reliable roller guides.
  • A similar approach works well with lifts for horizontal folding fronts. Put a good Aventos lift from Blum on the cabinet that you use most often, and on other doors you can buy simpler and cheaper fittings (the same gas lifts).
  • Pay attention to which handles the designer offers you in the salon. It is possible that you can save a lot of money by buying better pens yourself.
  • If Italian or German pens do not fit into the budget, take Polish or Russian ones, but always with a galvanized coating. The most inexpensive Chinese ones quickly scratch, fade and lose their appearance.

The Aventos mechanism is often placed on a cabinet with a dish dryer

Case finish

  • Chipboard, from which the body of the kitchen set is made, can also differ in price. For some manufacturers, the most popular decors are cheaper and are available in stock items. Other options may be more expensive and are often available only on request.

Which countertop is cheaper

  • The most popular option for middle and economy class kitchens is a plastic-laminated chipboard countertop. The price is affected not only by the quality of the finish, but also by the thickness of the base. The most inexpensive option is from ordinary chipboard 26 mm thick. A countertop made of moisture-resistant chipboard with a thickness of 38 mm will cost about twice as much.
  • Kitchen modules, from which inexpensive ready-made kitchens are assembled, often do not have a common countertop. Each module has its own. Budget option, but not very practical. There will be micro-slits between the cabinets, into which dirt and moisture enter, it is more difficult to care for them, and the furniture will quickly become unusable.

How to save on built-in appliances?

  • In the salons of the kitchen, they often offer to order a turnkey set - along with built-in household appliances. Prices for it are usually higher than in online stores (sometimes the difference can reach 30-40%), and you will most likely have to pay extra for its installation. Perhaps it's just worth buying the equipment separately? Yes, but there may be nuances. Example: if you refuse to buy appliances in the salon, the seller may make an additional markup on cabinets and facades, especially if you have chosen non-standard modules, or increase the cost of assembling the headset.
  • If you cook little and often ventilate the kitchen, you can do without a hood. So you can save not only on the purchase of the device, but also on a special cabinet for it. However, keep in mind: over time, plaque will still appear on the furniture, and the body and facades wall cabinets may be damaged by hot steam.
  • Household appliances of reduced dimensions save space, but not the budget. If the kitchen area allows, buy appliances in standard sizes. As in the case of cabinets, the price of non-standard models is higher.

Is it worth saving on headset assembly?

  • Collector services often have to be paid extra. The usual rate is 10% of the cost of the headset. For inexpensive kitchens in Moscow, you can find assemblers who charge a fixed amount or name a price per linear meter. Theoretically, you can save money and assemble the kitchen yourself. But keep in mind: many manufacturers give a guarantee for furniture only if the headset was assembled by their specialists or officially certified craftsmen.

Seven clear tips from the pros on how to choose a kitchen and how to use manufacturers cleverly.

Decide in advance on the number of family members and the area of the room. Everything else has already been decided for you and a specific list has been compiled, further in the text are technical information and design optional features.

"Professionals" can advise how to choose a kitchen, but often they are interested in increasing the amount of the check. But not all spending is worth it.

  1. Order food from local producers. The competition in this market is wild, and everyone has been using high-quality German equipment and materials for a long time. If you order from abroad, then just overpay for $ / hour to European workers and for delivery. The quality will not be better.
  2. The inside of the boxes - chipboard, facades MDF, countertop laminated chipboard under a tree (the rest of the options look terrible live, the tree is cool) or artificial stone (much more expensive).
  3. Apron or glass, or fork out for 1.5-2 m2 of cool tiles (do not try to use a white fugue to grout tiles on an apron).
  4. The best color for kitchen facades is white gloss. It's almost magically practical - it doesn't show dirt at all, AT ALL.
  5. It is better to plan the top drawers with the usual swing opening - hinges with a closer with this option will cost only $ 1.5-3 a piece. Lifting mechanisms from above they are much more expensive, but they do not give advantages. Bottom drawers are really more convenient, but also more expensive - see if the budget is enough.

What is the best material for the kitchen

    4 main materials:

    1. solid wood
    2. multiplex

Chipboard - chipboard, essentially glued and pressed chips. Cheap and durable material, but afraid of temperature and moisture. In the kitchen, it is used for the frame of cabinets or facades. Although too gentle for facades, it is cheap.

Chipboard is toxic. It must be laminated on all sides, including edges and invisible parts, otherwise there will be harmful secretions.

MDF boards are created by pressing small wood shavings, almost like sawdust. Then they are impregnated with a special resin, which makes the material strong and waterproof. Thanks to this, MDF is stronger than chipboard and solid wood, is not afraid of moisture, is many times less toxic than chipboard and is generally cool, but it also costs more than chipboard (but less than solid wood).

Multiplex is made from natural wood, but cheaper than solid arrays. The production technology consists in gluing thin layers of wood together. Up to 5 strips of wood 4 mm thick are used to create a high-quality slab. It is an environmentally friendly material that is resistant to steam, moisture and temperature extremes. Although in the production of kitchens it is used less and less. other materials are getting better and it can't compete.

    Fronts and cabinets

Cases or frames are always made of chipboard - this material is cheap, and the loads, especially in terms of temperature and humidity, are low for the frames. But be sure to kick kitchen workers to laminate even invisible trailing edges.

Facades are the visible part of the kitchen, which also takes on all the loads. The main materials among which you can choose:

    1. MDF painted
    2. Plastic
    3. Acrylic
    4. Film

Their photos are in order. It is impossible to distinguish from a couple of steps.

As you can see, we have thrown out chipboard, frame MDF, aluminum profile, solid wood and all sorts of ridiculous rare things like stainless steel and glass from the selection options. Some due to overpricing without significant benefits, others (DSP) due to low operational qualities, aluminum profile because they look terrible. If you are completely strained with the budget, then take chipboard, but you will also have to operate it more carefully.

By choosing from the four remaining options, you essentially choose the option MDF finishes(plastic and acrylic are just a coating, inside there is also MDF). They differ in price, a little texture and edge. Painted edges will not have any at all, but they are also the most expensive and capricious (they chip, scratch). We recommend plastic or acrylic, if a little cheaper and a little worse film.

By the way, MDF facades can, if desired, be given a rounded shape. But rounded facades in kitchens have long been out of fashion and rightly so.

Cases - chipboard, facades - MDF. This is the only right decision - just trust the experience.

By the way, we are in:

    table top

    Suitable countertop materials:

  • Natural and artificial stone
  • Laminated chipboard
  • Glass
  • Aluminum
  • Stainless steel

And the last 3 are complete nonsense.

In practice, your choice is laminated chipboard with a limited budget, natural or artificial stone in the absence of financial problems.

Artificial stone is good for casting corner tabletops without joints, cast immediately with the finished sink. And almost all options for artificial stone (aka acrylic, aka Corian) look cool. But chipboard countertops are good only in wood imitation options (Egger Oak Nebraska is especially good). Seriously, chipboard with imitation stone looks miserable, never choose them.

If the geometry of the kitchen allows, we highly recommend, they have been in fashion for so long that most likely they will not come out of it. You can make it wide and you get a bar table, there is material with a bunch of details above, within the framework of this article about the bar counter, information will no longer fit.

Kitchen apron

Due to its small size, the design of the apron is underestimated, although the interior of the kitchen depends heavily on it. This serious mistake, because just because of its small size, the apron can be made very cool. The choice of a slightly more expensive facade will reflect decently on the price of the kitchen, but you can afford to shower 2 meters of square apron with even very expensive tiles.

2 adequate backsplash options are tile and glass. Given that the area of the apron is ~ 1.5-2 m2, you can afford to buy a cool expensive tile.

Drawers are needed in at least 1 module:

Choose handles according to your taste, considering the rule that without handles at all is better than with handles, when convenience does not suffer from this. For example, on the upper hinged facades, handles are not needed at all - it is convenient to open them at the bottom.

There are a bunch of different fittings for corners, for trash cans, for opening by pressing, etc., but this is no longer necessary, and it is better to torment specific kitchen manufacturers with questions about this.

In an island or peninsula layout, the work area, along with the stove and sink, is transferred to the center of the kitchen. Kitchens with an island look cool, but firstly they are only suitable for large apartments, secondly, it is not easy to bring sewerage and water for washing on the island. But it does look very expensive.

The arrangement of furniture should correspond to the cycle of moving around the kitchen during the cooking process: from the refrigerator to the workplace, then the sink, the cutting and cutting table, and at the end of the cycle, the hob or oven.

All modern refrigerators have reversible doors, they should open from the cooking zone.

Selecting the country of origin of the kitchen

Now we will describe the kitchens from different countries just like they do in the booklets. And then we'll tell you how it really is.

Germany. German quality speaks for itself - automated production eliminates defects. But the price of such furniture is high. Manufacturers are focused on the production of headsets in a modern style, however, the products are produced overall, so they are only suitable for spacious kitchens.

Italy. An example of style, refined taste and originality. Often, manual labor is used to create a headset. Well-known designers are involved in the design development. And although Italian manufacturers produce furniture for any style, classic kitchens are most in demand.

Sweden and Finland. Such furniture combines simplicity, functionality and environmental friendliness. Choosing a kitchen in favor of Scandinavian manufacturers will allow you to get a natural, but stylish and functional kitchen for reasonable money.

Russia. For many years domestic producers produce products descended from German or Italian equipment, using European materials. Therefore, by 2019, Russian cuisines can be compared in quality with foreign counterparts, and the price differs significantly. In addition, understanding the Russian mentality and conditions encourages the creators to produce furniture to the size of real kitchens.

But in fact, people work everywhere who mow as much as it is permissible to continue working. There is simply wild competition in the production of custom-made kitchens, so they are now well made even in countries former USSR. For the processing of facades, the same equipment is used as in Germany, most of the materials are German or Turkish. Accessories are also German or Austrian.

Therefore, the only advantage of cuisine from abroad is show-offs. It's so cool to say that the kitchen was brought to you from Italy, and not sawn in a hangar on the outskirts. But the truth is that in terms of quality there will either be no difference at all, or they will be scanty. Read about the average wages in the Russian Federation and in Europe, but the payment of workers goes into the price of the kitchen. All logistics, customs clearance and payment for a bunch of intermediaries go there. That is why imported kitchens are more expensive, it's not about quality.

Choice of kitchen color

There is more taste here, but there is one universal option -. This perfect option by combination appearance, price and practicality. And it's almost impossible to mess them up. Seriously, many tried and did everything else just awful, but it still turned out at least not bad.

All other colors for kitchens on a whim. As practice shows, if a person has a favorite color, and the kitchen in his dreams was drawn in it, then it is unrealistic to dissuade. Only we strongly do not recommend choosing black and others dark colors. Black is a cool color, but not for kitchen fronts. In the kitchen, it is extremely impractical and looks boring.
The exception is black matte color on a small part of the facades. It looks cool, but practicality issues remain.

Colors from white to gray are good and with minimal chance of making a mistake. Wood as an addition, too, but if there is too much of it, the appearance suffers. Bright colors greatly increase the likelihood of a collective farm look.

We hope the information will be useful to you, and our categoricalness will save at least someone from mistakes when choosing a kitchen, good luck!

What to look for when choosing a headset

Combinations of modules, materials and colors give the kitchen any look, open up wide possibilities for design and space organization. The right choice of furniture takes into account many points - from key parameters to trifles and personal preferences. That is why typical models give way to original custom-made kitchens that allow you to experiment, reflect tastes, needs, habits and use every centimeter.

When developing a project, every detail matters:

  • The number of family members and the tradition of gathering together at the same table.
  • Love for cooking, requiring space for creativity, or the lack of a cult of homemade food.
  • The rhythm of life, leaving no time to prepare complex dishes.
  • Desire to complete the kitchen various equipment- washing and dishwashers, hob and oven or freestanding stove, extractor hood, microwave and small appliances.
  • The need for additional LED backlight backsplash, countertops or cabinets.
  • Planning features of the premises - the configuration and the presence of columns, ventilation ducts, niches.
  • Preference for the height of work surfaces, upper cabinets and the placement of the sink, refrigerator and built-in.
  • The level of natural light and the area of the kitchen.
  • The style of execution and the color scheme of the facades, allowing them to act as an accent or dissolve in space.
  • The presence or absence of the ability and desire to engage in regular care - thorough cleaning and polishing.
  • The habit of making "strategic" stocks of food and homemade preparations.

Everyone wants good food. The advice of professionals will help you meet the main condition - to achieve maximum convenience and combine aesthetics with functionality without contradicting tastes and habits.

What determines the cost of the kitchen

Good new kitchen- always an expensive pleasure. You need to approach the design and order with a cool head in order to clearly understand what the final cost of the headset is, and meet your budget.

The final price depends on the chosen facade materials, countertops and backsplash, the size of the kitchen, fittings and storage systems, built-in appliances, sinks and faucets. The complexity of execution also matters. Carving, stained-glass windows, glazing raise the price, as well as radial facades - the creation of any streamlined forms is technologically difficult and expensive.

Working surface, when choosing which comes first practical aspects. Bestsellers - cost-effective postforming chipboard and artificial stone countertops with excellent operational characteristics. The second option is indispensable if you want to install a sink under the surface. Connoisseurs of the classics can choose natural stone, which increases the load on the modules, or solid wood, which requires special care. More rare concrete, stainless steel, glass are preferred by those who relegate practicality to the background.

Handles, lifting and pull-out mechanisms, rails, internal drawer dividers, hinges, hidden push-to-open systems for touch-opening complete the overall picture and provide ease of use. Follow the advice of experts and approach the selection of accessories with particular scrupulousness - it is easier to work with the products of leading brands during assembly, they are durable and do not cause any complaints during operation.

A bright element in your kitchen that can transform the entire interior. The traditional ceramic tile, glass mosaic, natural and artificial stone, plastic and tempered glass. A properly selected apron will make an ordinary set look advantageous, an unsuccessful decision will spoil even stylish facades.

A modern assistant that simplifies life and improves life. Smart appliances - refrigerator, combination hob and oven or a traditional stove, extractor hood, dishwasher - gives a professional look. A variety of built-in and freestanding models allows you to maintain style and maintain a harmonious image of the kitchen set.

An indispensable part even in the presence of a dishwasher. Mortise or overhead sinks differ in shape, size, number of bowls, the presence of a wing for drying dishes and are made of artificial stone, enameled and stainless steel. The fundamental selection factors are the material of the countertop, personal needs, the dimensions of the kitchen and the budget.

Deciding on a color

The choice of color cannot be dictated only by personal preferences and trends. To create the right atmosphere and stylish interior it is worth listening to the advice of designers who are unanimous in their opinion - when choosing a range, everything must be taken into account: natural and artificial lighting, the area of the room and its decoration. Fashion is fickle, but there are colors that do not lose ground for years.

  • White. Visually expands the space and does not cause a quick feeling of fatigue, which is typical for bright colors. Suitable for small spaces, but emphasizes architectural flaws and needs to be “diluted” with contrasting details to add cheerfulness and style.
  • Black. A color for those who follow the current trends in design and want the kitchen to become an example of style. Used in large spaces with maximum natural light and good lighting. It goes well with straight lines and concise finishes. Contraindicated for those who do not have time for cleaning.
  • Yellow. Allows you to get a lot of non-trivial solutions, suitable for classical and modern styles, rooms of any footage, but is used only in combination with other colors. Best Options- with black, grey, white, green and blue.
  • Red. An expressive solution suitable for spacious kitchens where the “pressure” effect is excluded. Needs well-placed accents, used in high-tech, classic, loft or oriental style. Looks spectacular in combination with radius facades.
  • Blue. An elegant color, the choice of which requires accuracy. Not suitable for rooms with poor natural light with windows to the north and monochrome interiors. Used in tandem with warm and cold shades, it can provide both dynamism and an atmosphere of peace.
  • Brown. Brown scale deserves special attention. It is impossible to remove natural wood and chocolate-colored headsets from the pedestal. They are a godsend for those who appreciate practicality and solidity, versatility and comfort. Brown color“Friends” with any facades, stained-glass windows, gilding and glass, goes well with textiles and warm companion shades.

Deciding on style

Deciding on a layout plan

Convenience and ergonomics depend not only on the number of free meters, but also on how competently you dispose of them. Helpful Hints according to the choice of configuration, the headset will allow you to plan the space and make even a small kitchen comfortable.

Designers offer five main options:

Deciding on the material

There are two categories of things - those on which you can save, and those on which it is better not to try. Facades are an indicator of solidity and prestige. When the whole home life revolves around the kitchen, profiting from their materials is a mistake. How to choose a kitchen set correctly? Find a balance between quality and price.

  • Array. Natural wood is respectable, designed to last for decades and is great for classic style kitchens. Solid wood headsets require a solid investment and careful handling - they do not like changes in humidity and temperature, direct sunlight.
  • MDF. The most durable material that allows you to qualitatively imitate valuable wood species and make facades non-standard forms. MDF offers a huge choice of finishes, resistant to deformation and moisture.
  • Chipboard. The most economical and less sophisticated option. Covered with film, laminate, matte or glossy plastic facades are aesthetic, but simple. If you are concerned about maintaining the original appearance, it is advisable to protect them from constant contact with water, especially at the edges.

Ready-made or custom-made kitchens?

Manufacturers offer options for every budget and taste. Ready headsets cheaper and eliminate the need for waiting - they can be picked up immediately after arrival at the salon. Minus - the need to agree with the "imposed" configuration and standard sizes. The choice of modules is limited, the discrepancy between the dimensions can lead to the fact that non-working areas and corners will remain in the room.

Designed and custom-made kitchens take into account the nuances of the layout and fit exactly in size. Their configuration, equipment and color do not depend on the manufacturer's imagination, but the cost is much higher, and it will take several months to wait for production.

Conclusion

Before ordering a kitchen, you should figure out “on the shore” what equipment of the headset - modules, mechanisms, facades - you need and why, collect the best design ideas and decide on your desires. This eliminates the risk of impulsive buying.

In order for space and furniture to meet the laws of ergonomics and style, contact the designer. He will find a compromise on all issues and design a kitchen in accordance with all the details.

Small kitchens with big possibilities

A modern kitchen allows you to create a space that meets the individual requirements of the owner. Before you start looking for the right kitchen unit, consider a few important questions:

  • Does the room need? If yes, then it should end before buying a kitchen set.
  • Think in detail about the configuration and dimensions of future furniture, which should not occupy more than 20% of the area of the room.
  • What appliances (including built-in and small household appliances) do you need and where will it be located? Do pipes and sockets need to be moved?
  • How much storage space do you need for dishes, groceries, household items? Think about how you can functionally use the available space through corner cabinets, pull-out modules, additional shelves, additional mesh baskets.
  • Consider where the dining area will be located and what furniture is suitable for it. If the area allows, you can put a large round table and fixed chairs. In a small kitchen, you can use a folding or pull-out table, bar counter, stylish folding chairs.
  • Are there non-standard corners, ledges, niches in the kitchen? How are you going to use them?

After the budget has been calculated and the general wishes for the future kitchen have been determined, you can proceed to a detailed study of the layout and the choice of materials.

Features of the kitchen layout

The L-shaped layout is convenient for the functional division of the kitchen space, maintaining the possibility of free movement and simultaneous placement of two cooks at once in the working triangle (storage area, washing area, cooking area).

This is a classic option for rooms whose shape is close to a square. It is possible to optimally use hard-to-reach areas in corner cabinets using retractable multi-level systems.

Remont-volot.ru

Suitable for rooms of sufficient size square or rectangular shape, where you need to place a large number of storage systems and kitchen appliances.

For comfortable operation optimal length parallel lines of the kitchen should be at least one and a half and no more than two meters, and the connecting zone between them should exceed 2.5 meters.

mebelfeo.ru

Ideal for narrow spaces less than two meters wide and with a total area of 6-12 square meters. For efficient use of the space under the countertop of the kitchen set, you can place built-in appliances, define pull-out systems for dishes, and upper cabinets for them.

For dogs or cats, order a special feeder that slides out of the lower plinth of the headset.

It is best to arrange the objects in this order: refrigerator, work table, sink, second work table and stove. In small kitchens, a folding dining table is mounted on the opposite wall, thereby freeing up usable space.

foradesign.ru

Such a layout can be considered for premises of at least 20 square meters. In traditional island kitchens, a table with a sink or stove is placed in the middle, and in the peninsular kitchens, a bar counter acts as the center. But, of course, each owner decides for himself what functions to give his island or peninsula.

The optimal size of a free-standing work area is a square with a side of 120 cm. Standard length peninsulas - 120–180 cm. Usually these are two or three kitchen modules 60 cm wide.

foradesign.ru

This is the only way to use the elongated room as efficiently as possible. Suitable for kitchens with an area of at least 9 square meters and a width of at least 2.5 meters. After installing the kitchen set, the width of the passage should not be less than 120 cm.

If you are tired of handles, choose the Push to open system. The doors will respond to light touches and open silently and smoothly.

A convenient option is to place the stove and sink on one side of the kitchen, and the refrigerator on the opposite side. Or, for example, a refrigerator with a sink can be installed against the left wall, and a stove with a cutting table against the right wall.

The only drawback of the two-row layout is the lack of a clearly defined dining area.

How to choose material for a kitchen set

Case and facade of the kitchen

The most popular and budget materials for the kitchen today are MDF (fine fraction) and chipboard (chipboard). Both options allow you to produce a quality product that meets environmental standards.

A special seal for the plinth will prevent moisture and dust from getting under the kitchen furniture. It can be ordered together with the headset or purchased separately.

And yet, for facades and cases, it is recommended to use MDF, which can be covered with plastic, veneer, enamel, acrylic or PVC film. This material is relatively inexpensive, its structure is as similar as possible to natural wood. And due to various impregnations and components, MDF has properties that are important for an aggressive kitchen environment: good resistance to fungi and moisture resistance, excellent tolerance to high temperatures.

By the way, about temperatures. Be sure to leave 2.5 cm gaps between the stove (does not apply to built-in appliances that are equipped with a special cooling system) and adjacent kitchen modules. This will improve ventilation and protect the headset. The resulting gap can be closed with special overlays.

kuhni-anons.ru

Glossy facades look very impressive, but are quickly covered with fingerprints and require daily care. Give preference to matte surfaces.

If you have chosen a kitchen with non-standard or expensive facades, then when you receive an order, play it safe and be sure to check their number, size and curvature. Even if the representatives of the company will assure that everything is in order. After you sign the documents for the receipt of the kitchen, it will be problematic to prove the existence of a marriage.

table top

For work surfaces, it is better to choose a countertop 6-10 cm thick, and for dining tables 4 cm is enough.

Remember that the load on the countertop should not exceed 23 kg.

How to rationally use the kitchen space

The most appropriate option for the kitchen is a spacious wall cabinet with a folding door that opens up. In this model, you can place a dryer, shelves for storing food and utensils.

If the kitchen has plasterboard interior partitions, they are unlikely to support the weight of the cabinets. But railings with hooks, mesh shelves, holders for glasses and paper towels - quite.

Use drawers and baskets that can be completed with a clever system of accessories for neat storage and small items.

An excellent solution are corner drawers that run diagonally to the far corner of the wall. They hold three times more items than regular boxes due to their unique design.

Your headset will last much longer if the drawers of the tables are made using metaboxes (metal sides). Chipboard boxes will quickly become unusable due to moisture and the weight of the dishes.

Install in corner cabinet systems with a carousel - shelves that rotate around a rigidly fixed vertical rod. This will save usable space and greatly facilitate the storage of dishes in a hard-to-reach place.
