Do-it-yourself attachment to a walk-behind tractor, drawings. We assemble attachments for a walk-behind tractor with our own hands

Everyone knows the saying that the king is played by his retinue. Without a crowd of nobles, advisers and formidable guards, any monarch will seem like an ordinary person to you. Likewise, without the addition of attachments, the most expensive walk-behind tractor is a useless piece of metal.

We will talk about the types of attachments for this type of equipment and their capabilities in this article.

The main motivation for purchasing any walk-behind tractor is cultivating the land. The designers paid maximum attention to this task.

The list of attachments offered for sale includes:

  • plow;
  • harrow;
  • hiller (a type of plow with a V-shaped or disc-shaped plowshare);
  • cutter;
  • potato digger;
  • potato planter;
  • mower

Plows

The evolution of swing devices is embodied in the following types of devices:

  • Standard plow. A wide knife - a ploughshare of such a device - loosens the ground when plowing, cutting off the roots of weeds. A bent sheet - the blade turns over the layer of earth.

The method of attaching a standard plow to a walk-behind tractor is illustrated in Figure 1. The main parts of this device: ploughshare, blade, stand, heel, field board are visible in Figure No. 2.

  • Reversible (rotary, double-turn) plow. Two plows are mounted on a common frame at an angle of 90 or 180 degrees. Their dumps are directed towards different sides. In the working position, one of them plows the ground, and the second is located on the side. After passing the furrows, they are swapped by pressing (or removing) the latch and turning to the side. Thanks to this, the operator does not have to return to the beginning of the section each time, making an idle run.

  • Zykov's plow. An improved version of the classic plow. It differs from it in the modified geometry of the plowshare-mouldboard surface. Thanks to the modification, it turns over the soil layer well and crumbles it.

In a double-turn design and fully equipped - a beam, a wheel and a hitch bracket (price in the Russian Federation for 2018 is 17-18 thousand rubles)

Designed and produced in Ukraine, the Zykov plow is still rare in Russia. Only a few DIY enthusiasts are trying to reproduce it in home workshops.

Harrows

Soil turned over by a plow is a “semi-finished product” that requires finishing. For this work, a harrow is used, which breaks up large clods and levels the soil.

There are two types of harrows:

  • Dental;
  • Disk.

Disc harrow (price about 11,000 rubles)

It should be noted that disc designs perform harrowing better and cleaner than toothed ones.

Okuchniki

This type of attachment for walk-behind tractors is designed for loosening the soil and creating furrows during sowing, planting seedlings and weeding.

By design, hillers are:

  • single-row and double-row (with fixed and variable working width);
  • disk;
  • rotary (active);

Single-row hillers with a fixed width (25-30 cm) are designed to work with light walk-behind tractors (up to 4 hp). Variable working width and double-row installation allow you to use these devices on more powerful mechanisms and use them to process beds of different widths.

Double-row hiller on a reinforced frame ( average cost 2.5-3 thousand rubles)

Disc hiller (average cost 3-4 thousand rubles)

Rotary (propeller) hillers do not require the use of a hitch, since they are installed instead of walk-behind tractor wheels. Toothed discs of a special configuration loosen the soil well and pull out weeds between the rows.

Rotary hiller OR-380 Price 2600-3000 rub.

Milling cutters

Can perform several operations:

  • loosen and level the ground;
  • crush lumps of soil and mix its layers;
  • mix fertilizers;
  • destroy weeds.

The walk-behind tractor usually comes with universal cutters equipped with saber-shaped knives. They are comfortable to work on soft soil. For dense soil overgrown with weeds, mechanisms called “ crow's feet».

Crow's feet cutter

High mechanical strength and the special shape of the cutters allows them to loosen neglected areas, pulling out weeds by the roots. In the fall, they are used to destroy insect pests that have hid in the ground for the winter.

Potato planter and potato digger

The main crop of our fields and summer cottages– Potatoes require significant labor input when planting and harvesting. To mechanize these operations, two mounted units are used: a potato planter and a potato digger.

The first is equipped with a small plow that makes a furrow. Immediately behind it, a hopper is installed on the frame, from which the potatoes fall into the ground at regular intervals. Two inclined hiller discs attached to the back of the frame fill the bed. So, three operations are performed at once in one pass.

The KSM-1A trailed potato planter makes a furrow itself and places potatoes in it

Anyone who has dug potatoes with a shovel at least once will certainly appreciate the usefulness of this simple device. The potato digger, mounted on the hitch of a walk-behind tractor, consists of a plow with steel rods welded to it. Lifting the soil under the bushes, he carefully removes the tubers to the surface. Collecting them in a bag or box after such processing is not difficult.

Fan potato digger

In addition to fan type diggers, there are more efficient vibrating screen type diggers. They are designed for processing large areas. Such equipment is connected through a power take-off shaft, which transmits torque to the potato digger pulley, causing the working elements of the mechanism to vibrate.

Vibrating potato digger (prices for devices start at an average of 12 thousand rubles)

Mowers

Mowing grass is another important work operation performed by mounted units.

Two types of mowers are produced for walk-behind tractors:

  • rotary;
  • segmental.

The rotary design is easier to maintain. The segmented one resembles a hairdressing machine. It is more complex in design, but cuts the grass cleaner than a rotary one. This type of attachment is used for mowing large lawns.

Rotary mower, average price depending on the model is 14-20 thousand rubles.

Segment mower

In addition to purely agricultural implements, walk-behind tractors are combined with other devices:

  • trailer-trolley;
  • adapter (two-wheeled cart with a seat and without a body);
  • snow blower;
  • motor pump;

Trailer

Work on the land plot and on the estate is associated with the transportation of fertilizers and feed, crops and firewood. These problems can be solved using a trailer truck. It turns the walk-behind tractor into a “short-range” vehicle.

A useful option that some types of walk-behind trailers are equipped with is a tipper body, which makes unloading easier.

Adapter

A useful addition to the walk-behind tractor, giving it the functions of a mini-tractor. A good adapter saves the owner from tedious walking around the site.

By design, the adapters can be steering-less (only the seat, the hitch lift lever and the brake) and equipped with a steering wheel.

Such a simple mechanism makes cultivating the land easier and sells for an average price of 10,000 rubles

An adapter with a steering wheel is several times more expensive. Despite this, it fully justifies its cost if you take into account its performance capabilities.

Grader, mini-tractor, dump truck and arable unit. The functions of four mechanisms are combined in a fully equipped steering adapter (price about 32,000 rubles)

snow blower

Many owners do not lay up their walk-behind tractor in winter. With its help, you can clear large areas of the estate from snow cover. Snow removal devices mounted with it can be divided into several groups:

  • dump shovels;
  • rotary throwers;
  • brush mechanisms.

The simplest and most affordable is a dump-type device. The width of the shovel fixed to the front of the walk-behind tractor can be from 0.8 to 1.5 meters. The choice of its size depends on the power of the motor. The design of the blade allows for adjustment of the tilt and rotation angle.

Where a shovel is helpless, and this often happens with high snow drifts, a rotary snow blower will do the job. It is connected to the power take-off shaft of the walk-behind tractor. The rotary auger design has high performance and confidently clears the area of snow cover up to 50 cm high.

The brush hitch is used to clean areas with expensive decorative coating requiring the most careful work.

Motor pumps have been created to irrigate plots located far from power lines and close to water bodies. This type of attachment for walk-behind tractors is connected to the power take-off shaft. The average productivity of motor pumps is 20-40 m3 of liquid per hour. The created pressure reaches 4-5 meters with a suction depth of up to 10 meters.

What attachments for a walk-behind tractor can you make yourself?

It all depends on qualifications home handyman and the set of tools that he has. We advise beginners to start their experiments with the most simple designs– fan potato digger or hiller.

The design of the device for digging potatoes is shown in the sketch. It consists of a wide bent plate (foot) welded to a vertical bipod and field bar. Teeth made of reinforcement are attached to the rear edges of the paw by welding.

It is easier to make a disk model from hillers. Its main elements - disks can be cut from the ends of old gas cylinders. They have suitable shape, diameter and thickness of the metal.

Quite a lot of design solutions for the device itself have been invented, you can see this by watching videos of homemade people, as well as various assembly diagrams.

One example of an adjustable disc hiller

In addition to the disc disks you will need:

  • two racks made of steel strip;
  • two rolling bearings;
  • bolts for attaching the racks to the frame and adjusting the rotary sectors;
  • cross member made of profile pipe;
  • T-shaped leash.

Main condition quality work such a mechanism is the precision of manufacturing of all parts and the symmetry of the installation of disks. Otherwise, it will be pulled away from the furrow while moving.

You can learn how to make homemade products for a walk-behind tractor (mill, trailer, rake) by watching the videos posted by Yuri Serbin.

Agricultural mini-equipment

Experts include homemade products for walk-behind tractors:

  • trolley trailer - for transporting cargo;
  • milling cutter - for mixing the soil and breaking up hard clods;
  • rakes - attachments for walk-behind tractors;
  • hiller - forms smooth and high ridges in beds with root crops;
  • blade - designed for removing snow and sand, creating optimal conditions for subsequent soil treatment.

Before you do homemade devices for a walk-behind tractor, you need to prepare drawings.

  1. To make a rake with a wide grip, use water pipes, bushings, rod, tape measure. A sleeve is placed on the rod. Then the surface of the rod is tapped and rotated. To make a rake for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands, it is recommended to use a round rod. The parts of the unit are fastened by electric welding. To simplify the design, the rotating parts of the homemade walk-behind tractor are fixed without rolling bearings. Folding rakes are made for easy transportation.
  2. Using a walk-behind tractor, you can level the ground and clear sidewalks and roads of snow. To perform such work, a special device is used - a blade. A homemade walk-behind tractor is made from sheet metal(thickness 1-2 mm), inside which 4 stiffeners are welded. The last elements are made of sheet metal 3-4 mm thick. The blade is fixed vertically with rods. To do this, holes are made in the first structure. The bottom of the homemade walk-behind tractor is covered with tin (to prevent burying into the soil).
  3. You can clear the road of snow and dirt using a plow shovel. Similar walk-behind tractors are made using a grinder, a drill and welding machine. The blade blade is made from a 200 liter steel barrel. The barrel is cut into 3 parts - shovel segments. The two parts are welded along the contour. The thickness of the resulting shovel blade is 3 mm.

Additional devices

Before making a seeder for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands, drawings are prepared and the type of design is determined. Experts distinguish the following types of seeders:

  • taking into account the number of rows sown - 1-5;
  • vegetable;
  • for precise seeding.

To puncture the sowing of carrots, beets and onions, use a vegetable seeder. Seeds are fed from support-drive wheels. Replaceable sprockets are responsible for adjusting the rotation speed of the device. Motoblock homemade precision seeders are presented in the form of brush sowing devices. The seeds rotate in the hopper and are poured into the hole, which is closed with a special disk. The last element has holes different diameters.

To change the size of the holes, the dial is turned. Using a similar method, the seed sowing rate is changed. The seeder is connected to the walk-behind tractor using a universal hitch. The seed box is made of wooden boards (15 mm thick). The walls are connected with screws and corners. Overlays are installed at the bottom of the walls. To drop seeds from the cells, plates are provided in the bottoms. The diameter of the wheels is 200 mm. Holes are made in the hubs. To make a coulter use steel sheet 1.5 m thick. The box is attached to the walk-behind tractor using a bracket.

Experts advise making disk hillers from metal pot lids (diameter 50 cm). The next step is to sharpen the lid blades. For this purpose it is used grinding machine. Flat lids are pre-bent in one direction. This work can be done with a hammer. The next step is to make a cart to which the disks that move the earth will be attached. To make it, pipes and bushings are used. Wheels are installed underneath.

You can equip the walk-behind tractor with a crow's foot cutter. Such self-made walk-behind tractors, unlike conventional cultivators, are more durable.

Homemade attachments can be used for cultivating hard soil and preventing pests. The main thing is the suitable diameter of the walk-behind tractor axle.

Trailers and lawn shoes

To make a furrow cutter, a factory plow trailer is used. A 70 mm corner and 2 cultivator stands are screwed to the structure. The last elements should be opposite the wheels of the walk-behind tractor. The cultivator blades are trimmed with a grinder. Bolts are used to secure the plate.

To make a trailer for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands, use a drill and an angle grinder. The cart is fixed using a Zhiguli cardan. The basis of the design is the rear Moskvich axle. The gearbox is first removed from the device. A pipe is used to fix the axle shafts. The bridge is connected to the frame by pipes. The trailer body is made of galvanized steel 0.8 mm thick. The edges of the cart are reinforced with metal corners. To ensure minimal load on the walk-behind tractor, the wheels should be located in the middle of the body.

To make such attachments for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands, like an aerator, use gas shoes. The device can be made using shoes. Nails are attached to the sole. Then prepare wooden boards(taking into account shoe size). An electric jigsaw is used for this.

A belt is used to secure the board to the shoes. A do-it-yourself aerator mounted on a walk-behind tractor can be used to cultivate a small plot of land. If the land area is large, then the apparatus is made from a pipe (length 50 cm), iron, and nails.

Experts advise making such a device from steel and pipes. A shaft and bearings pass through the cylinder. The pipe is filled with sand or gravel. WITH outside Nails are welded to the pipe (pointed outwards). The nails are arranged in a checkerboard pattern.

Potato planter and lugs

Easy to make lifting mechanism Do-it-yourself potato planter for a walk-behind tractor. The device consists of 2 discs and a bowl. Tubers enter the soil through holes provided in the bowl. The discs are then buried in the potatoes. To manufacture such a device, a frame, wheels, an axle, pins, a hopper, and an adjustment mechanism are used. The main element of the product is the frame. All parts of the canopy are fixed on it. The wheels are covered with a plate. Otherwise, the potatoes will fall out of the hopper at the wrong time.

Grousers for a walk-behind tractor can be made from a welding machine and a grinder. For this they use old rims, steel corner. A bearing is attached to the axle shaft. A square plate is welded in the center of the disk. Additionally, the plate is screwed to the disk. The skating rink is ready. The next step is to make the hooks. The corner is cut into several parts with a grinder. The elements are fixed with a welding machine. The resulting hooks are placed on the rim of the disc in increments of 15 cm.

You can make lug wheels from a gas cylinder. To do this, cut the rim 5-7 cm wide (diameter 30 cm). Hooks are made from the plate, which are fixed in increments of 15 cm.

An additional plate is welded in the center of each hook. Another 60 cm is added to the end of the hooks so that the resulting equipment penetrates more into the soil. A plate is welded to the rim of the metal disk.

When using homemade walk-behind structures, it is recommended to follow safety precautions.

Today's peasants cannot imagine their activities without special equipment. Most people assemble attachments for a walk-behind tractor with their own hands, since this machine goes on sale with minimum set additional tools for cultivating the land.

For summer residents and residents of rural areas where fairly large areas of land need to be cultivated, this equipment is a real savior, allowing them to complete the intended work quickly, efficiently and without heavy physical effort. Only the walk-behind tractor itself is valuable as a tractor; to perform various earthworks, you need to purchase or make your own attachments.

They're standing additional tools There are quite a few accessories for this machine, so it is profitable to purchase them only for large farmers and those who carry out land work to order. But in order to cultivate fairly small areas of land or in order to save money, you can create all these tools with my own hands. Experts often advise purchasing a hitch in a store, since it performs quite well. important role in operation and has a universal type. It is simply necessary for walk-behind tractors; it can be used to attach attachments, such as a plow, trailer, potato planter, hiller and much more that a farmer will need in his work. Unfortunately, this coupling unit is not included with the equipment, so it will have to be purchased separately. But many craftsmen, if their search for a hitch is unsuccessful, make it themselves.

How to make a coupling unit?

This part must be made of durable material, as it is the connecting link between the tool for work and the traction force of the walk-behind tractor. This assembly must have strong fastening elements on both sides.

To make it you will need the following tools and materials:

  1. Metal or channel. They will be needed to create the main body of the unit.
  2. Fastening elements in the form of bolts, nuts and steel rods.
  3. In order for the position of the unit to be changed, you need to think about what adjustment element is needed. It should be a durable and metal lever.
  4. To assemble this part of the walk-behind tractor, you will need a welding machine, a set of keys, drill bits and a metal drill.

Such home-made devices must correspond to the dimensions and load-carrying capacity of the machine. The unit must have sufficiently strong fastening parts and be suitable in size for the main equipment.

Of course, you need to make a universal hitch, since it will be possible to attach to it, like homemade devices, and purchased.

The universal unit is assembled in the following sequence:

  1. First, you need to take 2 U-shaped metal arcs of the same size; channels are perfect for their manufacture. You need to drill holes in each metal plate: 6 pcs in one, and 8 pcs in the other.
  2. The body is a more complex part and is assembled using a welding machine. It must have clearly measured and drilled holes for the connecting elements, and on one of the brackets it is necessary to think about how to make a movable connection.
  3. The most difficult thing in this work is the manufacture of the lever, or rather, the mechanism itself for adjusting the position of the walk-behind tractor. Its main parts are a screw, a bracket and a handle.

To perform this work, it is recommended to use a special machine on which you can turn all the necessary parts. When the hitch is assembled and ready for use, it is worth checking the strength of its connection and the fastening of the working device for the walk-behind tractor.

Attachments for walk-behind tractor

In order to cultivate the land and perform a number of agricultural work on a small-sized tractor, you will need the following additional devices:

  1. Rake.
  2. Plows.
  3. Hillers.
  4. Potato planters and potato diggers.
  5. Harrows.
  6. Weeders and mowers.
  7. Wood splitters.
  8. Sprayers.
  9. Rotators.

All these devices will be needed sooner or later, but most often they use rakes, plows, hillers and devices for planting and harvesting potatoes.

How to make a hiller?

The simplest homemade attachment is a hiller. To assemble this device you will need the following tools and materials:

  1. 2 disks of the same size made of durable metal. You can make them yourself, or take them from an old seeder.
  2. Bolts, nuts, metal axles and washers, plain bearings.
  3. Metal frame T-shaped.
  4. Racks - 2 pcs.
  5. For correct adjustment To determine the rotation angle of the discs, it is necessary to purchase screw lanyards.

Adapters are placed in the center of the disks; they are used to attach them to the frame. Racks should ideally be mounted on such devices so that the distance between the disks can be adjusted in the future. The remaining parts are assembled by welding and bolts.

Potato digging device

This device is indispensable during the harvest of tuber crops, especially potatoes. It is not so easy to make such homemade products for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands. Before work, you need to create drawings of the attachments and think through every detail.

The frame, as the main body, is made from metal corners or channels by welding. It must be strong enough and stable.

To directly collect the tubers, you need 1 or 2 metal plates with rounded edges, this is done so that they do not cut the potatoes. You will also need metal rods that are welded to the plate. This entire structure is called a ploughshare - it is a moving part of this device.

No less important element equipment is an editorial node. To manufacture it, you need to purchase 2 metal cylinders; they are designed to connect 2 bushings that ensure the interaction of the shafts.

Housing for cleaning tubers. It is quite difficult to make for an inexperienced craftsman. To assemble it, you need to purchase roller chains and steel rods; it is with their help that you need to assemble a structure that, in its own way, appearance will resemble a squirrel wheel. This wheel must be firmly secured to 2 special rods so that the drum can rotate.

Properly assembled parts will allow you to use this device for many years, and the quality result will please you.

Snow removal device

It is not difficult to complete; to create it you need to prepare 2 metal pipes and brackets. The so-called blade can be made from a metal sheet. Rods are attached to its body by welding, and brackets allow you to fix its angle of inclination and location relative to the coupling assembly. This moving part can be taken from self-propelled equipment that has expired.

Potato planter

In order to assemble this attachment yourself, you need to prepare the following parts:

  1. The frame is the main load-bearing element; it can be welded from metal corners and channels.
  2. A metal axle must be attached to the frame, to which the wheels will be attached.
  3. A potato hopper is attached to the bottom of the frame.
  4. The chain sprockets must be properly attached to the frame and connected to the adjuster.

Particular attention must be paid to the correctly adjusted position of the stars, since the distribution of tubers in the soil during planting will depend on this. The wheels on this device can be of different diameters, it all depends on the dimensions of the walk-behind tractor itself and the attachments.

Some craftsmen manage to create universal devices For earthworks, for example, by adding or removing any parts, you can create a potato planter from a motor cultivator, and rakes can easily be converted into harrows by changing the main attachments on the frame. If you approach this issue competently and knowledgeably, you can gradually collect all necessary tool for household and agricultural work on a walk-behind tractor.

In order to increase the capabilities of the walk-behind tractor, it is enough to equip it with various attachments. Manufacturers have developed numerous add-ons for all models, the use of which makes work on the ground easier.

On sale you can find plows and seeders, hillers, furrow diggers, and sleds. The choice, of course, is large, but the cost of such equipment is unaffordable for many. But it is quite possible to make it yourself from cheaper or used materials.

How to make a flat cutter with your own hands?

A practical addition to the walk-behind tractor is a flat cutter. This indispensable assistant, which creates beds, weeds and hills plantings, levels, fills, loosens the soil. The possibilities of this attachment are almost limitless.

If you position the blades of the flat cutter on the left and move them in the same plane with the soil, you can weed or loosen the soil. By lifting the device slightly, the blades turned to the left will mow down tall weeds. If the blades point down, then they can easily create beds.

A flat cutter will again help you form grooves for planting and fill in the seeds. This is the function of the burrower.

You can use the Fokin flat cutter as an attachment for a walk-behind tractor. He has required holes for hanging on a structure. If you need a flat cutter of a different size, then you can make it yourself. Drawings and a small metal blank will help with this.

The metal must be of sufficient thickness and strength so that in the future it can perform the functions of a blade. The sheet is heated with blowtorch and bends according to the diagram. When the flat cutter receives the required shape, it is cooled with water. In order for this workpiece to become an attachment, you need to make holes for fasteners and sharpen the workpiece with a grinder.

The sheet of metal can be replaced with a piece of pipe, to which pieces of metal like blades can be attached. They need to be sharpened.

Dimensions and features of making hedgehogs

A walk-behind tractor with an attachment for growing potatoes will save time and effort when caring for this crop. Weeding hedgehogs are a functional attachment that allows you to quickly and efficiently defeat weeds. During the weeding process, plants are not simply cut off, but uprooted. The soil around the plant is well loosened and hilled. Thanks to this, the plant is not only freed from weeds, but also receives sufficient water and oxygen.

Hedgehogs can be purchased at almost any agricultural store, but at a fairly high price.

Based on diagrams and drawings, you can make them yourself.

Ingredients for hedgehogs:

  • 3 metal disks or rings;
  • a small piece of pipe with a diameter of 30 mm;
  • steel rods for cutting tenons.

Preferably use rings instead of discs, which will facilitate the entire structure. The sizes of rings for making walk-behind hedgehogs are different. The most common are 240x170x100 mm or 300x200x100 mm. The rings are attached to the pipe through jumpers. The connection should be made at an angle of 45 degrees with a distance between elements of no more than 15-18 cm.

Spikes, cut from a steel rod 10-15 cm long, are welded onto the rings and the axle itself. Depending on the size, they are mounted on big ring in quantities of 15 pieces, for small ones - 5. You can also weld several pieces onto the axle.

To make it easier to work with the structure, the walk-behind tractor with hedgehogs is equipped with additional wheels.

Making a snowblower bucket with your own hands

The walk-behind tractor is useful on the farm not only in summer, but also in winter time. It is often equipped as snow blower. It is enough to make a bucket for the walk-behind tractor, and the iron assistant will do the hard work.

A bucket for clearing snow is usually made from a 200-liter iron barrel. You will also need strips of metal, square pipe, rubber and steel plates and fasteners - bolts, nuts. Tools: pliers or pliers, drills and metal drills, spanners, Grinder, welding machine.

Using a grinder, cut out the side parts of the barrel. Then the workpiece is cut into three parts. Two of them are welded along the contour. The remaining third of the barrel must be divided into metal strips that will serve as ladle knives. Three holes with a diameter of 6 mm are drilled into them for fastening along the edge of the bucket. Instead of a barrel, you can use a metal sheet, which will need to be bent by heating.

A strip of metal is welded to the bottom of the bucket to make it heavier. The metal strip is completely covered with rubber to prevent wear. Then the bucket is attached to the walk-behind tractor. To protect against corrosion, a homemade bucket is primed and painted.

You can turn a walk-behind tractor on wheels into a snowmobile using a trailer and winter wheels. Using a channel, the trailer is fixedly fixed to the frame. Instead of expensive wheels, used truck tubes are used. On each wheel, the deflated tube is secured with chains and inflated again. It is quite simple to equip a snowmobile with a homemade sled.

A homemade trencher is a mounted attachment to a walk-behind tractor that allows you to quickly and effortlessly dig trenches and holes. It is a kind of compact excavator that is maneuverable and economical. Moves on a wheeled or crawler.

The digging attachment allows you to dig trenches and holes even in frozen ground. The walls of the trenches are smooth, without crumbling. The developed soil is light and crumbly and can be used for backfilling.

Two cutters are attached to the front suspension, and a shovel is attached to the rear suspension to remove soil from the trench. It is necessary to secure it to the cutting discs and chain drive. protective covers on safety precautions. Using the same principle, a drill attachment is made from a metal rod and plates.

Manufacturing of other hanging structures

The walk-behind tractor can be equipped with a variety of useful devices- a plow, a rake, all kinds of shovels, mowers, skis, brushes. Wish, clear diagrams and a description of the work will help to replicate store-bought analogues of hanging elements and even improve them, since they will meet individual requirements and conditions.

So, to cultivate the land you need a plow that can overcome virgin soil, overgrown with grass, wet or stale soil. To make it you will need a steel plate about 5 mm thick. Using rollers, the plate is bent into a cylinder. The edges are sharpened with a grinder.

Received homemade plow hung on the stand of the walk-behind tractor through the hitch.

Using the same principle, it is easy to make an attachment that forms furrows. It’s good if there are cultivator stands. They can be attached to a corner or two racks can be made from scrap materials. To do this, plates are cut from a metal sheet 1.5-2 mm thick. The size of the plates should correspond to the depth and width of the furrow. They are fastened with bolts to the racks of the structure. This nozzle can be used for instillation. You just have to give the plates the required shape. They must be in the form of a disk or circle, located at a certain angle. Such plates are located closer at the top than at the bottom. Due to this, the disks, rotating, open the cavities outward.

The attachment to the walk-behind tractor for collecting cranberries contains a self-propelled platform on caterpillar tracks. An intake is attached to the rotating frame of the platform. It is made in the form of a box with curved parallel teeth. While moving, the device, using the draft from the fan, captures the berries into the box. The fan is powered by the motor. Helical spirals are installed in the box.

Picked cranberries are heavier than garbage, so they fall to the bottom of the container. Leaves and small specks that fall along with the cranberries are removed through the hole along with the air flow from the fan.

A brush for a walk-behind tractor is used to clean the area not only from leaves, but also from shallow snow. Simplicity, efficiency and versatility of use are the obvious advantages of this hanging element. The brush shaft is vertically attached to the walk-behind tractor. A ring and discs with brushes are alternately put on it. The diameter of the rings is 350 mm. The grip width of such a brush is usually made no more than one meter. This way the walk-behind tractor retains maneuverability and covers quite a large area surfaces to be cleaned.

The length of the bristles is 40-50 cm, otherwise it will soon begin to wrinkle and break. It is not possible to restore the properties of the bristles, just attach new discs. The speed of movement of a walk-behind tractor with a mounted brush varies in the range of 2-5 km/h, depending on the engine power of the unit.
