We make a box for tools with our own hands. How to make a wooden tool box

Hello everybody!

A toolbox today is a very indispensable thing for every owner. Most of us have a lot of different tools that we may not use very often, but nevertheless, we keep them, since not one repair can do without them. In order for the tool to be in one place, and it was convenient to transport it, we use special boxes. Often we just buy them in the nearest store, the range and variety allows us to do this. But why not make it yourself? The manufacturing process is not too complicated, anyone should be able to handle it, especially with a handmade thing, which is much more pleasant to use than a purchased option. This article will describe 4 different ways to make boxes, a photo report is attached.

Let's start making!

Manufacturing Method No. 1

We will need:

Material

Plywood;
- pine board;
- nails;
- wood glue.

Tool

- drill;
- hammer;
- chisel;
- manual frezer;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- roulette.

The first step is to find the necessary material, plywood or trimming boards are suitable for this. Further, according to the presented drawing, it is necessary to mark up, then cut out all the details of the case. It is necessary to make special grooves into which the partition will be placed, for this we use a manual milling cutter, or another available tool.

The diagram shows the following body parts:

1 - wall (2 pcs.);
2 - sidewall (2 pcs.);
3 - bottom;
4 - groove along the thickness of the partition and a depth of 1/2–1/3 of the thickness of the material

When everything is ready, all elements of the box body should be sanded. Next, we assemble the body together, fix the parts with wood glue, and then additionally fasten with small nails.

Now we make a partition for the box, cut out a special handle, for this we use a jigsaw.

When the partition is ready, grease the grooves with wood glue and install it in its place.

Next, from the planks we make overhead handles, with the help of a planer we round the corners. Then we make tool holders from the rails, use a jigsaw, and a drill. The holes will serve for screwdrivers, and pliers, etc. will be installed in square cutouts. tool.

In order for the box not to get dirty, and to be protected from the environment, we cover the surface with varnish. As a result of the work done, we get such a homemade box.

Manufacturing method No. 2

Drawer-stool

Material

Plywood or OSB;
- wooden beam;
- self-tapping screws;
- wood glue.

Tool

Available cutting tool;
- screwdriver;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- roulette.

We take an existing sheet of plywood, make markings on it, and, according to the dimensions presented, cut out the lid (Fig. 1), then the longitudinal drawers (Fig. 2) and sidewalls (Fig. 3).

Next, we take a wooden beam with a section of 40x50 mm, cut out a handle, and 4 legs with bevels at the ends at an angle of 15 °.

Next, we assemble the structure together, using self-tapping screws as fixing elements.

Parts layout:

1 - cover;
2 - tsarga;
3 - handle;
4 - leg;
5 - sidewall.

When everything is ready, use sandpaper or a grinder to round off sharp corners and clean the surface. Next, you can apply a protective coating.

The end result should be such an unusual tool box, which, if necessary, can be transformed into an ordinary stool, for this it is enough to turn it over and put it on legs, with it it will be convenient to reach the place we need, at a time when growth does not allow do it.

Manufacturing method no. 3.

Box for the young master.

Does your child love to craft? We offer to make a small box with him, where he will store his favorite tool.

To make a box with our own hands, we need the following

- wood glue.

Tool

Available cutting tool;
- screwdriver;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- roulette;
- clamps.

First you need to take the existing boards with a cross section of 16 mm, then we make the markup, according to the dimensions provided, after which we cut the wood into the component parts we need.

The drawing shows the following details:

1 - sidewall;
2 - bottom;
3 - handle;
4 - handle stand;
5 - holder.

Using sandpaper, we grind the surface and remove sharp corners. When everything is ready, we begin to connect all the parts together, first you need to connect the bottom and sidewalls, then we put vertical racks along the marked lines and at the same time we put a horizontal handle.

We fix everything with glue and screws. Then we install special holders for screwdrivers.

Now you can paint, choose the color and coating at your discretion.

The toolbox is ready.

Manufacturing Method No. 4

The next version of the tool box is well suited for carrying various and necessary equipment for us, its appearance will be distinguished by solidity and reliability.

To make a box with our own hands, we need the following

Material

The board is not thicker than 12 mm;
- self-tapping screws;
- joiner's glue;
- pen;
- corners 8 pcs.;
- latch 2 pcs.;
- loop 2 pcs.

Tool

Available cutting tool;
- screwdriver;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- roulette;
- clamps.

For the manufacture of the box we use such wood as: pine, linden or poplar. The most optimal thickness of the boards will be a thickness of 12 mm.

Next, we make the markup, according to the indicated dimensions in the drawings, after which we cut it into its component parts, as shown in the photo.

Full list of required parts.

In order to make sure that the wood was cut correctly, you need to put all the parts in a single box.

First, we assemble the bottom part and the lid of the box, for convenience we use clamps and corner clamps. We fix the parts together with carpentry glue.

Then, using a drill, we drill a hole for the self-tapping screws, we drill the holes.

It is quite possible for a home master to make a tool box with his own hands. When a lot of tools accumulate in the house, there is a need for their neat storage. Making such a box for a craftsman is not at all a problem, because the question will be rather about what kind of box such a person needs.

Figure 1. A simple carpenter's box is convenient for storing the most necessary tools and materials in it.

About materials and tools

The easiest way is to assemble a box from solid wood or plywood. These materials are easy to find and easy to process, and they are stronger than the plastic containers you can buy in stores. To assemble a wooden box you will need:

  • jigsaw and hacksaw;
  • drill and screwdriver;
  • file and sandpaper;
  • board 2 cm thick, bar 2.5x5 cm, lining or thick plywood;
  • accessories (piano hinges, hooks, handles, etc.);
  • carpenter's glue and self-tapping screws.

Figure 2. The tool case is made of plywood and several bars.

Before starting work, it is necessary to determine what type of box you want to make: for a large tool, for small items, universal sliding (transformer) or some other.

Draw a diagram and mark on it the dimensions of the storage for tools, the presence of compartments and their parameters, additional details in the form of a lid, constipation or handles.

Then you should make drawings of parts.

And only then proceed to the manufacture of the tool box.

Tool boxes

A simple carpenter's box was invented by our great-grandfathers: it is an open box with a handle. Large tools like an ax or a hacksaw, as well as various small things (nails, files, etc.) can be conveniently placed in it. Rice. 1. It consists of 2 parts, end walls of a complex shape, which are easy to make if you draw a rectangle of the desired length and width, and build a trapezoid on its upper side. The height of the trapezoid will be equal to the height at which the carrying handle will be located.

The sides and bottom of the box are rectangles. The length of the sidewalls is equal to the length of the bottom and is dictated by the desired dimensions of the product. The width of the sidewalls is equal to the height of the walls of the box, and the width of the bottom is equal to the width of the end walls. When creating a drawing, it is necessary to take into account the thickness of the material and the fact that during assembly the parts are located overlapping one another (end walls on the sidewalls). Therefore, to the desired width of the box, you need to add twice the thickness of the board or plywood.

Figure 3. Transformer box - a convenient and compact version of the tool box.

If you need to have a partition inside the box, you need to mark its location on the drawing (along, across, in the center or otherwise) and calculate its dimensions, knowing the width and height of the side walls. You can first assemble the box, and then measure its internal parameters and cut out a rectangle for the partition.

You need to assemble a tool box with your own hands in the following sequence:

  • at a distance equal to ½ of the thickness of the material, drill holes in the lower part of the sidewalls with a constant step of 5-10 cm;
  • attach to the glue and screws of the sidewall to the long side of the bottom;
  • on the bottom and side vertical sides of the ends, drill rows of holes for fasteners;
  • fasten with glue and self-tapping screws to the edges of the sidewalls and bottom.

In the upper part of the end walls, mark the place for attaching the handle. It can be fixed as in the figure above, on self-tapping screws, or you can make through holes in plywood and thread a piece of bar, a metal tube or a handle of a suitable diameter through them, fixing it with glue or limiters from self-tapping screws or nails.

The box in the form of a tool case (Fig. 2) is also easy to assemble:

  1. From a 2.5x5 cm bar, make details for the bottom frame. Saw off 2 pieces of length equal to the inside length of the suitcase plus 5 cm, and 2 pieces of length equal to the desired inside width plus 2.5 cm.
  2. At the ends of the parts of the long sides, at a distance of 2.5 cm from the edge, make transverse cuts for half the thickness of the bar (1.25 cm) and remove part of the wood with a chisel before cutting.
  3. Place the details of the short sides on carpentry glue in the grooves obtained.
  4. Cut out a rectangle from plywood 6 mm thick, the length and width of which are equal to the external dimensions of the suitcase. Glue it around the perimeter to the bars or attach it to self-tapping screws.
  5. Make the same design for the cover. If desired, the depth of the cover can be reduced by picking up bars with a smaller width or sawing a bar of 2.5x5 cm along the width (you get 2 bars of 2.5x2.5 cm). Connect the bottom and the lid with piano hinges, make a handle and screw the hooks.
  6. Inside the suitcase, glue short pieces of bar for sockets for tools. From thin strips, make turntables to securely hold the contents during transportation.

How to make a transformer box?

This is a sliding drawer that can be made compact for carrying, and deployed during work, creating convenient access to drawers with large tools and small items. Rice. 3.

First you need to collect the largest, bottom box. Its dimensions are chosen so that the largest tool can be placed there. Make smaller boxes with a width equal to ½ the width of a large box, and a length equal to its length. There should be an even number of smaller boxes. Inside them, you can arrange partitions, provide retractable pen-type lids or equip at your discretion. For the top pair of drawers, make comfortable hinged lids.

The transformation mechanism consists of several metal strips. Their number depends on the "floors" of the box. The first, short strip connects the lower drawer with 1 smaller one, the next one connects the lower one, 1 and 2 smaller ones, another one can connect 1 and 2 smaller ones, as in the figure, but if there is a next row of drawers, it should also capture it. If more tiers are needed, then each next strip should also capture 3 adjacent rows.

The strips should be mounted in the “folded box” state, placing them from the inner corner of the tier above to the projection of its middle on the tier below, fastening to each box they hold. From the strip of the last tier, you can make a handle, as in the figure, or bring its ends above the box and screw the handle from the bar onto the screws. If there is no strip of sufficient length for the manufacture of handles, then they can be attached to the end walls of the upper tier separately in a convenient place. Any durable material is suitable for their manufacture: leather belts, canvas tape, wood or metal.

For quick access to the toolkit, you should properly organize the storage system. An organizer and a tool box help to cope with this. With their own hands they are made from solid wood, plywood, chipboard, various types of plastic and tin.

The material is selected based on the size of the product and the skills of the carpenter, each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Home varieties

For stationary storage of tools, open or closed stands and spacious chests of drawers are suitable. In these options, it all depends on their location - a garage or an apartment. In the first case, it is more convenient to organize a stand of the right size on the wall so that everything is open and freely available.

For apartments, designs with shelves or plywood drawers, cabinets and even a suitcase are suitable. They can accommodate organizers and cases for power tools and hardware. Small stands can be built on the doors and side walls. The more correctly organized the filling, the longer the order will be maintained.

To accommodate the main set of tools, wrenches, heads, bolts and nuts, a small container with a handle can act as mobile options. With large dimensions, wheels can be screwed to it. Then you should choose the material, calculate the acceptable dimensions, choose the model and type of fasteners, draw up a drawing for the tool box with your own hands or use ready-made offers. After that, you can start manufacturing.

In addition to safety, a do-it-yourself tool box helps with the work. Its sorted content, when each item is in its place, allows you to eventually find everything you need without even looking inside.

The standard placement of a hammer, wrenches and pliers occupies one large compartment. Screwdrivers are inserted into the holes on the horizontal bars.

Classic drawer options

This kind of do-it-yourself tool case is easy to perform. The accessories of the main set lie in sight, each in its place. It is useful for transfer outside the workshop. Tool carriers tend to be heavy, so don't make them too big or made entirely out of planks. Some parts can be replaced with plywood.

open with baffle

Before starting work, make sure that the workpiece material is dry. For the first version you will need the following materials and tools:

  • pine boards;
  • plywood;
  • thermal or PVA glue;
  • nails and screws;
  • hacksaw, jigsaw or grinder;
  • drill or brace and drill for wood;
  • hammer;
  • chisel;
  • tape measure or ruler;
  • pencil or marker.

Plywood or cuttings of pine boards are suitable as a material. According to the drawing, markings are made and blanks for the body are cut. Special grooves are cut out in which the partition will stand. To organize them, you will need a milling cutter or a hacksaw with a chisel.

The drawing shows the classic dimensions that are optimal for assembling the box. All blanks are cut according to the scheme, when changing one parameter, it is necessary to proportionally subtract or add from the others:

  • transverse walls - 2 pcs.;
  • sidewalls - 2 pcs.;
  • partition groove.

Sand all prepared elements, assemble a rectangular box. To prevent the structure from falling apart, the attachment points and the ends of the blanks are coated with glue. Additionally, the box is knocked down with small nails or twisted with screws.

In the upper part of the plywood blank, a handle is cut with a hacksaw, jigsaw or grinder. Prepared grooves are lubricated with glue. After that, a partition is installed in them.

From the blocks are made pads for the handle. The corners of the workpieces are processed with a planer and sandpaper, fastened with glue or cloves. From wooden slats cut to the size of the partition, you need to make holders that are placed horizontally on the partition. Suitable holes are drilled for screwdrivers with a drill. Pliers, wire cutters, etc. are placed in rectangular grooves.

The entire structure must be covered with a protective compound. To do this, you can use varnish or paintwork material with special additives.

Organizer in a stool

With this design of the organizer for tools with your own hands, you can carry the tool to the right place and sit on it and reach out to a place that is slightly higher than your height. Materials and tools are the same as in the previous case. Cut out of plywood:

  1. Cover 550x380 mm with a cutout in the center 140x40 mm.
  2. Longitudinal drawers 470x150x540 mm and a bevel angle of 75 °.
  3. Two sidewalls 306x380 mm.
  4. The legs and handle are made of bars 385x40x50 mm. At the ends, saw off the bevels at an angle of 15 °.

Assembly is done with screws. Sharp corners are rounded with sandpaper. The product is cleaned of dust and covered with a protective composition.

Type of homemade carrying

If you want to make something more elegant with embossed forms of the side racks, this homemade tool box is just right. First you need to take boards with a thickness of 16 mm. Make parts from them, as in the diagram, and take a round aluminum stick or other metal tube.

Along lines parallel to the edges, holes are drilled on the side walls for self-tapping screws to fasten the structure. With sanding paper or an electric machine, burrs are removed and sharp corners are smoothed out. After that, the prepared parts are assembled: the bottom and sides are fastened with glue and screws.

Using the same marking method, vertical racks are installed, between which a horizontal handle is fixed. Screwdriver holders are screwed with self-tapping screws. The entire surface is cleaned of excess glue and dust.

For protection, the product is varnished or painted. After drying, the box is ready for use.

Every man in the house (apartment) must have a screwdriver, a hammer and at least a handful of different nails. If this is a master with "golden" hands, then you need to have a whole set of different tools for which you need a convenient box.

DIY tool box

Many tools (hammer or hacksaw) cannot always be placed in standard tool storage and carrying facilities. Therefore, craftsmen prefer to make a container of the desired size with their own hands. Consider the stages of work, how to make a tool box.

Material selection

Can be used: metal or plywood. But wood is considered a classic, which has long been the basis of carpentry. Therefore, it is easier to make a wooden tool box.

Type of shell

You should think in advance and measure where the chest doors and handle options will be located. The design can be open or closed to accommodate large items. It can be a large box with cells or a designer piece of art.

Interior decoration

The model can be simple for storing various little things or multifunctional: a separate row with holes for various screwdrivers, pencils, glue, pliers, etc.

Drawers with several floors are convenient, they can be inserted into each other or pulled out. The main thing is to achieve maximum order in the arrangement of parts, so that there are nails, screws, tape measure, power tools, etc. separately.

In the manufacture of a particular model, it is necessary to take into account the operating conditions:

  • storage location (apartment, basement or garage);
  • humidity level;
  • temperature;
  • frequency of use of devices and devices (professional activity or for home use).

Tool box designs

Before buying a compact model for different tools, we list the types of designs:

  • The boxes are made of solid durable materials, often rectangular. There are a couple of drawers on the side. Hinged or removable lid with lock. The model is convenient for constant movement.
  • A set of boxes is a set of open trays of different sizes that are convenient for the home.
  • The case is a compact, durable suitcase, conveniently wide opening, and a handle on the side is a must. Large tools will not fit.
  • The organizer is a low container with many cells. Maybe a case or bedside table with cells for small things.
  • The tray looks like an open box with recesses, no handle. Not convenient for transportation.
  • The bag looks like a sports bag, handles. The model is roomy, but not reliable, and the fabric lets moisture through.
  • The backpack is adapted for storing tools, but it is inconvenient to get them.
  • The container is a compact closed product with many drawers and sections, some are removable. Transformers are especially convenient.
  • The trolley is used in factories, it is a large container on wheels with a comfortable handle. Many sections, easy to move over short distances.

Photos of the best tool boxes

Any repair requires a special tool. And the instrument loves order. As a minimum organization of the workplace, a toolbox is needed. Similar designs are sold in stores, but it will be easier and more convenient to make a do-it-yourself tool box.

Today, there are a huge number of organizers invented. Let's analyze the most popular options:

  • Portable box. Plain wooden box without a lid with a handle. In this it is simple and convenient to carry tools without an engine on a long handle: a hammer, screwdrivers, an awl, open-end and adjustable wrenches. But in such an organizer there will always be a mess, since it is impossible to somehow organize the workspace of such a box. The obvious advantage is the ease of manufacture. A more complex tool like an electric drill or a screwdriver cannot be stored in such an organizer.
  • Box with departments. All the same wooden box can be made with the division of departments. In small departments it is easy to place various kinds of fasteners: bolts, screws, nuts, etc. Such an organizer can be either with a handle to facilitate carrying, or stationary. But most often the stationary version is executed. The organizer can be built up, then the box will take the form of a chest of drawers, with many compartments. Power tools can also be removed in such a place, although this is highly undesirable. The problem is that in order for such a box to withstand a heavy tool, you need to use thick-walled boards. Even thick plywood will no longer fit, as it will begin to sag under the weight of the tools. Therefore, to store the entire set of tools, it is better to use a box on the frame.
  • Framed box with wheels. The main stiffeners of such an organizer are made of metal corners. And as shelves, boards are typed or thick plywood is used. Due to this approach, the box is extremely stable. As a rule, wheels are welded to it for easy movement in space. An extension reel can be attached to the box on wheels to make it easier to work with power tools.
  • Fabric organizer. A fabric organizer is a good option for an apartment. A basic set of open-end wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers and a hammer can easily fit here. The organizer itself is a piece of fabric with pockets, which is folded after work and put away in the closet. In addition to the small number of compartments, the disadvantage of such an organizer is a short service life. The fabric quickly becomes dirty and begins to tear. Even purchased products do not have a long service life, home-made devices, as a rule, “live” even less.
  • Unusual models. It would be surprising if none of the masters began to invent all sorts of unusual models. Depending on the materials available, the place where the toolbox will be located and the composition of these tools, everyone can choose the basic version of the organizer and change it for themselves.

The principle of construction and materials of manufacture

Before making a design, you need to clearly decide for yourself a few questions about the future product. By choosing your own option at each point, you can get the design principle.

  1. The first question is the composition of the instruments. If there are a large number of fasteners available, then a separate department should be made for them. This immediately discards the option with a fabric organizer, since the fasteners will simply break through the walls. It is important to have a power tool. If the tools include a drill, screwdriver, puncher and other tools of this kind, then a single box will not work. For such an organizer, you will have to make a large number of compartments for each of the tools.
  2. The second criterion is the possibility of moving the organizer. He comes out of the first. If the tools include only the most basic set, then it is better to make the box portable. This will allow you to keep the tool in the apartment. In addition, it is convenient to bring tools directly to the place of work. The stationary organizer is convenient for its spaciousness. Here you can arrange everything that is required, ranging from simple tools, ending with a grinder and an electric saw.
  3. The next and last question is the materials used. Plywood can't support the weight of heavy tools, but it's fine for making the top shelves of a stationary organizer. It is best to use boards. This material is light enough in fasteners, which is strong enough to withstand the weight of heavy tools. To give additional rigidity to the box, metal corners are used. With the help of a metal frame, you can create a fairly stable structure and even put it on wheels for ease of movement in space.

Instructions and steps for making a tool box

A step-by-step analysis of the manufacture of basic options for boxes will help you create your own unique project. In each of the options, you can add additional compartments, use existing materials instead of those indicated, and also make any other changes within the design.

The simplest portable box

The simplest portable box was invented in the era of the Soviet past. It is quite simple to make. There are no compartments for fasteners, but you can make them yourself. The box itself is an open box with a triangular top and a crossbar.

Under small things there is a tray in the upper part of the structure. There are two mounting options for the drawer. Details can be put on glue or self-tapping screws can be used. Any board can be used as a material. A shovel handle or other metal or wooden part of a round section will fit under the handle. The main thing is that the future box should be comfortable to hold in your hand.

You can use thick plywood instead of a board. All parts must be cut out, it is desirable to process the edges with coarse sandpaper. After that, driving the screws at the intersection of the parts, fasten all the elements. There is nothing complicated about this, the full cycle of making a box will take less than 2 hours. After the organizer is ready, it is desirable to cover it with paint or varnish. Inside, you can make a division using additional partitions, dividing the box into departments.

For small items, you can make a separate department, or you can fix the tray at the top of the box. The tray is an open gutter of rectangular section, which is also attached to self-tapping screws.

Tool box on wheels

A tool box on wheels is a more complex storage system. It can be used to hide heavy electrical tools. At the same time, fasteners with the rest of the set of small and medium tools can also be placed in the organizer.

Before making a box, you need to estimate the size of the project. First of all, decide on the number of boxes. Keep in mind, you can not put more than 1-2 electric tools in one box. Taking into account the dimensions of the drill or puncher, you need to select the depth of the boxes. It is possible to provide for the presence of open shelves for the welding machine and other overall equipment.

Another point that you need to decide is the number of boxes in width. As a rule, there is only one box wide in the design, so it is easier to assemble all the elements together. Only the number of boxes in length and their depth changes. After assembling the parts, each box is divided into separate storage locations. But if there are too many tools, then the organizer may turn out to be too high, which is very inconvenient. Therefore, for such storage places, a width of two drawers can be provided, but between them an additional frame of metal corners is required as a stiffener. From above, it is desirable to make handles in the form of curved metal pipes or welded corners. Handles are necessary for the convenience of moving the organizer.

As a material, you will need metal corners as the basis of the structure and plywood as a filler. Boards are also suitable, but they will take up a lot of usable space.

After the number of drawers is determined, the length and width of the future organizer can be calculated. Between themselves, the corners are fastened by welding. The seam should be neat, on the outside of the box. Scale must be knocked down with a hammer. After the frame is ready, you can immediately weld wheels on it to move it.

If the organizer is more than 1 drawer wide, but more than 4 wheels are required: 6 or 8 for 2 and 3 drawers, respectively.

The boxes are assembled separately on the floor, after which fasteners are welded under them from the corners, where the boxes are installed. The boxes should be as large as possible, the division into departments is made later, immediately over the entire depth of the box using plywood cuts. For each type of tools and fasteners, you can make your own compartment. It all depends on the preferences of the future owner.

The metal tool box is good for long service life and convenience for long-distance transportation. For the manufacture of boxing, you will need a caliper and tape measure, welding and a sheet of metal. It is desirable to use as little welding as possible, most of the bends should be done with an anvil and a hammer.

First you need to estimate the required volume of the box, put the details on the sheet and cut along the lines. After that, bend the box and weld the necessary seams. The handle is bolted to the drawer. The resulting design will be in many ways similar to the first version made of wood. In order to create additional space for storing tools, you need to attach guides for a metal box from below, which can also be done by welding.

You can make several boxes by fixing them with rivets, as shown in the figure. This will make the box more compact and practical. Allows you to store a large number of necessary small things and tools.

Interesting ideas for tool storage

There are a lot of interesting ideas for tool storages. Consider the most popular options:

  • Wall cabinet. The slat cabinet is made above the workbench. It is convenient to store all sorts of keys and tools that may be needed when working at a workbench. In an apartment, such storage is not very convenient, but if the plan provides for a wardrobe, then you can hang a wardrobe in it. All tools are stored here in a suspended state, so it will not be possible to use a cabinet for storing power tools.
  • Box with inserts. Inserts are ordinary pipe cuts embedded in a wooden box. It is convenient to insert pliers, cloths, wire cutters and other tools with long handles into trimmings.
  • Forms carved in paralon. This is an option for the most pedantic users. A strict shape is cut out in the foam sheet for each tool, where the stored tool fits perfectly. The paralon itself can be placed on any horizontal surface.

There is nothing difficult in making a tool box with your own hands. The main thing is to clearly imagine the end result and the requirements. The most important requirement for the organizer is user convenience. It is better to make a box from what is at hand in order to reduce the cost of construction as much as possible.
