Drawing of a chair with a high back. DIY armchair: furniture accessible to everyone

Not only craftsmen know how to make an exclusive comfortable furniture... The advantage of such an activity is obvious - it is the ability to translate into reality the most daring ideas for a variety of living space. An additional bonus is the low cost of making home-made soft chairs with your own hands. Following the advice of designers, you can make soft armchair for a pleasant stay in own home... At home, you can exactly repeat all the stages of the factory production of this modern and convenient attribute of decorating a nursery or living room. On the Internet, you can find both the simplest and the most complex schemes.

The first step in making homemade upholstered furniture serves as a choice of fabric for external design soft parts constructions. Each master selects upholstery depending on physical properties and the price aspects and features that different blueprints have. Consider the most common fabrics for decorating chairs in our time:

  • velor - velvety to the touch, gives the furniture a certain charm;

Upholstered velor

  • flog is a distant analogue of velor, easy to clean, so designers use it to decorate children's upholstered furniture;

Flog upholstered

  • chenille - a fabric based on a combination of natural and synthetic fibers, has a special wear resistance (a well-thought-out structure prevents the formation of pellets);

Chinilla upholstered

  • jacquard - the upholstery is considered strong, but over time the loops turn into puffs;
  • natural tapestry is the most expensive and beautiful view upholstery fabrics;

Upholstered jacquard

  • faux suede - a universal option for chairs in a sunny room, resistant to UV rays and easy to clean;

Material, fittings, tools for wireframe attribute

Building a frame chair from scratch presents some challenges. But ready product will have a more respectable appearance. You can be convinced of this by looking at photos of finished products by home craftsmen. You can also use an old Soviet "grandmother's" chair for the base.

To make a simple frame for a soft chair, you need to pick up durable sheets of 20 mm plywood for cutting out parts with your own hands. A standard set of repair tools with an electric drill, jigsaw, steel ruler, emery cloth, metal rims, masking tape, pencil, tape measure, thin nails, screws, wood glue, wood stain, glossy paint will also come in handy. For upholstery you need: artificial leather or fabric, foam rubber (filler).

Step-by-step creation of upholstered furniture with a wooden base

  1. If you do not know how to make a drawing for the base, then look ready-made options circuits in the network. As a rule, they are transferred to a cardboard template with a pencil. Only after that the operations of the stated algorithm are started. This will help to save on unnecessary material, or vice versa - not to buy missing parts.
  2. The future constituent elements from plywood sheets are cut out according to the cardboard template:
  • banana-shaped sidewalls;
  • transverse strips.

It is important to determine the required angles of inclination, bending and dimensions of the future frame. This will help a photo of the finished chair, created according to your scheme.

  1. The next step is surface treatment wooden parts by stripping and grinding. The ends are carefully worked out to improve the quality of the work done. Previously, these parts are impregnated with heated linseed oil and only then bends are formed with a hammer, if they are provided in the sketch. Each component is cut out with an electric jigsaw.
  2. The sidewalls are painted or treated with varnish-stain. The ends of the side parts are reinforced with metal rims.
  3. The further course of action is associated with covering the frame. Use an electric drill to make the necessary holes. The rims are fixed with screws.
  4. First, the back of the back is covered with artificial leather or fabric, then the rest of the structure, incl. and seats.
  5. The upholstery material is fixed with wallpaper nails, which are characterized by large caps. At the rear of the frame chair, the upholstery is fixed along the edge, along the transverse parts for better coverage of the slats.

Experienced furniture makers advise to additionally process the attachment points with wood glue. Such a move is needed to increase the durability of the furniture you create with your own hands.

Secrets of reliable upholstery: how to sew

The process of stretching the upholstery of soft chairs has its own nuances:

  1. Foam rubber is cut to fit the seat (average thickness - 5 cm). The part is glued to the surface of the plywood sheet.
  2. Horizontal and vertical fabric straps are attached to the back with a construction stapler. Similar straps are added to the armrests and sidewalls from the inside along the mold.
  3. A piece is cut from a piece of foam rubber 0.1 cm thick, which will be larger in size than the area of the seat (a difference of 4-5 cm). Take a flap of synthetic winterizer fabric of the same size with an elongated front part and fix it with your own hands.
  4. After the performed manipulations, the upholstery is covered with furniture fabric. With the help of a stapler, the textile is fixed in all corners of the cover, the synthetic foam layer to the frame of the seat of the chair.
  5. The sides and armrests are also covered with padding polyester, fixing with aerosol glue over the entire surface. Only after that, the parts are sheathed with fabric, fixing the flap along the staples.

Anyone can make a do-it-yourself armchair for home. You just need to purchase some materials and spend a few hours of free time. It is also important to prepare accurate drawings, work schemes, and beginners will be helped by a master class on how to make a chair with their own hands.

When creating furniture, feel free to show your imagination. Even at home, you can make original, unique interior elements from the simplest products.

Types of chairs and general instructions for creating

Regardless of which drawings are applied, there is a certain algorithm for how to make a chair. First created individual details piece of furniture, then they are processed - holes are made in them for fasteners, paintwork is applied. Then the product is assembled into one piece. In some cases, painting and opening with varnish is carried out after the manufacture of the chair has come to an end, that is, a whole, assembled product is already processed.

Before making a chair, you need to decide on its type. Furniture items can be roughly divided into:

  • Solid. They have no upholstery. In fact, they are chairs with armrests.
  • Semi-soft. Padded upholstery fits on the seat, backrest, armrests. This saves materials.
  • Soft. The upholstered armchair is fully upholstered with filled material. it the best solution for a home that will allow you to rest comfortably.
  • Rocking chairs.

The easiest option: create a solid chair

For those who have never made armchairs with their own hands, you should first pay attention to the drawings and instructions for creating solid products, without upholstery. If necessary, they can be supplemented with soft elements. Such products are distinguished by the fact that they are light, not so afraid of moisture, therefore they are well suited not only for the house, but also for the summer cottage.

An interior item can be made from scrap materials (for example, pallets) or wood. In the first case, ready-made parts are used, which should simply be processed and assembled into a finished product.

Drawings or a master class for making a product from scrap materials are not required. A homemade pallet chair is created according to the following algorithm:

  1. Preparation of materials. If the pallets are old, it is better to disassemble them and follow a series of steps.
    • Get rid of old nails. Rusty hardware doesn't just spoil appearance, but also very dangerous if injured by them.
    • Sand it. This is the only way to give old, dirty wood an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
    • Reassemble.
  2. Connect several pallets into one piece. The seat height is freely selectable depending on your wishes. The standard distance from the ground to the seat is 300-400 mm. If the product is intended for children, you can lower it.
  3. Painting and opening with varnish. This procedure can be performed prior to assembly.

The result is a strong homemade chair that will fit into general form a summer cottage or a loft-style apartment.

Wooden armchair

Drawings of a simple wooden chair:

In work you will need the following materials and tools:

  • Boards and beams. It is important that the wood is carpentry - it has a moisture content of no more than 10-25%. From building materials in no case should you create a frame for furniture. Drying wood is a very long and technologically complex process.
  • Hardware - self-tapping screws, screws, nuts, washers.
  • Furniture conductor.
  • Saw or jigsaw.
  • Mallet.
  • Joiner's glue or PVA.

The algorithm for creating products is described above: first, all parts are cut and processed (the drawing displays required dimensions), after which they are fastened together. Here are a few important points to consider:

  • You can fasten the parts together using dowels. For this, holes of such a diameter are made at the attachment points so that the connecting element fits tightly into them. For greater strength, each hole is treated with glue.
  • When fastening with self-tapping screws, it is recommended to pre-drill small holes - this will make them easier to enter.
  • This product can be used as a frame to create an upholstered armchair. You can cover it with foam rubber and dense fabric, or make separate pillows with straps for attaching to the seat, back and armrests.

The rocking chair is created according to the same algorithm as other products. The most difficult task- make a round base. In principle, it can be cut, but this requires a very thick board or beam.

These are not always found. Any master class on this topic provides a more professional solution - to bend a prepared part. To do this, it must be softened using one of the following methods:

  • Steam in a box. A special plywood box is created. Holes are made in it for the introduction of steam and several small holes for its exit. Parts are put inside, and water vapor is supplied (you can use a kettle).
  • Soak in ammonia. Work must be done with gloves and in a well-ventilated area.

After the material has become soft, it must be bent. To do this, either use special machines, or use simple design: two supports are placed at a distance slightly less than the length of the part, the product is installed on them and a load is placed in its middle. The bending radius depends on the weight of the load and the height of the supports.

A metal product can be either an independent piece of furniture, or provide a frame in order to make an upholstered armchair. The metal chair is very durable and sturdy, suitable for installation at home or on summer cottage.

The master class for creating a chair made of metal practically does not differ from the instructions for making wood products. It's just that welding or hardware is used to connect parts.

The metal frame is also made in a round hanging chair(hammock chair). The wicker seat can be made of vine, rattan, or other material. If you want to make a soft round chair, then you can sew foam rubber with fabric on the frame or make pillows separately.

How to make a chair with your own hands.

There is no doubt - you can buy anything now. Just show your imagination, and they will offer you - both in stores and on the Internet - a lot. But sometimes finances do not allow, sometimes it is easier from improvised materials (in the country, for example), and sometimes your hands are just itching to do the hunt yourself. For such cases, this collection took shape.

Let's see how you can do it yourself frameless furniture, namely - a chair bag.
The budget for one chair is 40 American rubles.

This filler is polystyrene balls

Cutting fabrics - (1.4 * 2.5) for the cover for the filler and for the cover of the chair the same amount.

Stitched inner filler sleeve.

Already with filler inside.

First try.

The outer cover has already been sewn. Ready. The most difficult thing was to collect all the balls, since static voltage scatters them everywhere ... I collected them with a vacuum cleaner.
Here is a pattern if anyone needs it:

I have not photographed the whole process of work in detail (there is never time for this)), but here are the main stages. I wanted to make exactly the chair. Stable and robust. It seemed as if several kids would jump on it at once (and I was right))).

So, at first such a "sandwich" was made in the form of a semicircle: chipboard - between the bars - chipboard. The result is a base about 10 cm thick. This is so that the walls can be fixed. For the same purpose vertical posts... Front wall - plywood; back - hardboard (it bends so well))). The bend of the back was first drawn by eye on the remnants of the wallpaper, the back is slightly higher in the back. Base on 4 legs made of old Polina wooden cubes. Polina fell in love with the chair already at this stage)) Here you can see that I started gluing cardboard, filling the interior of the chair. Not all layers are solid, most are just glued pieces, between them in some places there are gaps, this does not matter. First glued on PVA. But she soon abandoned it, because the cardboard from it swells like a wet waffle and deforms, so I had to put a load on top, wait until it dries up ... It's long and inconvenient, so after a few layers I switched to wood glue. Great thing in every way.

From the photo it is clear how the walls turned out. In the course of work and at the end, I straightened them with a knife. Everything is so easy to cut))

Further foam rubber + glue Moment Gel.
And a cover. (This was the most enjoyable part)) Done.
The chair is sooooo heavy. But I think it's a plus - at least it won't turn over)) And of course the fabric…. These are just some remnants that were found at home. The sewing machine on the armrests, although glued with non-woven material, cannot count on long life... But we wanted temporary furniture that would not be a pity to throw away. (In fact, throwing it away, as it turned out, is a pity ... The kids tore the fabric on the armrests and on the pillow, well ... my fault - I really wanted to use this particular fabric. It's a pity to throw it away - the chair itself is simply indestructible!)

well now the promised

this is what gives the product its rigidity - these ribs

we continue to make the back, here we use three-layer cardboard, usually such cardboard is boxes from under refrigerators or from under cigarettes (such boxes are huge 1.20 m by 80 cm in height), even a 5-layer cardboard goes from under cigarettes, on my chair, the bottom and the upper shelf, by the way, were made of such cardboard, it has a width of 3-3.5 cm somewhere.)

but the bends are pasted over with cardboard thinner than usual cardboard boxes... We collect the chair, by the way, I glued my chair glue gun and some other glue for wood, I don't remember, it was a long time ago.
We finish the sides, well, that's almost done, it remains to paint.

Plastic bottles are an excellent material for creativity and handy tool to solve many problems. Whatever they do about them. And a variety of boxes, scoops, buckets, and brooches, and curtains. They are laid instead of pipes in dachas, they are used to decorate flower beds, etc. My son and I decided to make an armchair, since, as it seemed to us, there was clearly not enough such furniture in our room. We now understand that we got a little excited, not taking into account the modest dimensions of our room, but five months ago we began to collect plastic bottles with enthusiasm.

As we accumulated, we cut them accordingly and put them in "blocks" of two pieces. It looked like this: the neck of one bottle was cut off and, turning it over, it was installed in the lower part. Then the second bottle was sent neck-to-neck.

As a result, such blanks of the future chair were obtained, which in storage are much more compact and more convenient than the bottles themselves.

In total, our chair took something about ninety two-liter plastic bottles... Along the way, we stocked up with scotch tape and stretch wrap.
When there were enough blocks, we started assembling. It will not be possible to clearly demonstrate this process, since at the time of writing the material, the chair had already been assembled, but I will try to simply tell you. Moreover, there is nothing complicated in this, and your imagination can tell you completely different, more interesting forms.
For the seat, we first prepared, based on the existing ones, larger blocks, tightly wrapping tape every four "bottles" out of sixteen. Then, with the same adhesive tape, they combined the resulting four enlarged blocks into one.
Then came the turn of the "sides" and backrests. They are made of the same single modules, only higher ones - not from two, but from three and five bottles. The build-up scheme is pretty simple. We cut off the bottom from the top bottle, set it inward, as we did with the neck before. After that, again, with the neck down, put the next bottle. Etc…
By the way, testing the harness for strength, we found that the blocks inside diverge. It was this moment that gave us the idea of stretch wrap. However, it seems that in this case it was possible to get by with scotch tape. But we had the film, and therefore we swaddled the base blocks with it.
We carefully tied the finished sidewalls and backrest with tape to the seat and, unable to resist the temptation, completely tightened the resulting structure with stretch film. And this is what we got in the end.

This is, so to speak, the basis. The chair is, of course, harsh and needs some work. It can be "whipped" and a cover can be sewn onto it. My armchair is still covered with a blanket and is waiting for the move to the dacha, while my son and I are thinking about a bar counter made of plastic bottles for the kitchen. And what? It may very well be

We will dance from the stove, that is, from the foam rubber, which in this case is the basis for us. It's better to draw on paper, but I'll show it on foam for clarity.

Here is a 50cm by 50cm piece. We divide it in half cross by cross. 10 cm distance for backrest recline.
We cut it out like this. Exactly can be cut with an ordinary knife (sharp).

I have a radius of 6.5cm. In general, you need to find something round with a diameter of 13cm. And attach to outline an arc.
With a knife, cut exactly like in the picture. And we trim the rest with scissors. It turns out a little rough, but nothing. The rest will be smoothed out by the batting. We got such details.

We glue them in a row. I apply the glue with a spray gun. At home, of course, this is a problem. A brush is bad, a lot of glue will be wasted, and the seals will be from greasy smears when it dries. I think the short-pile roller is the most the best option here will be.
Here are the places where the future seams will pass. They need to be drawn on foam rubber immediately and the approximate size of the blanks should be measured by them.

In the junction of the back and seat, you need to make a cut of about 4 cm. For retraction.
Like this. Velcro will be tucked into the cut when putting on the cover, so we glue its half inside
Here is the cut set. it makes no sense for me to indicate the sizes that have turned out. They will each be slightly different. It is important to show the principle.

Parts A and B are the sidewalls. They are larger than the foam pattern by 8mm along the contour. The seam will be 10mm, + will give the thickness of the batting. This is for the cover to be tight, not loose. C - seat, D - back. Strip E is a retraction, which we will put into the cut with Velcro sewn onto it. F and G - backrest. G is wider because it is sewn on with a release and covers the zipper.
Here is a schematic diagram of how the back is sewn. (then I'll try to draw it more correctly). The seams are red and blue (so as not to merge. The dimensions of the F and G parts I could not immediately determine and cut out the parts with some margin, wrote down the size and cut it in place. First, after completing the knot with the zipper, I cut off the excess to fit the width, then subtract them from the original blank with a margin already wrote down the size for the next cut. Immediately as you do not measure you will not get, well, if you succeed - good. The same parsley and in length. Blanks were made with a margin, then trimmed when it was almost sewn.
Retraction unit. (from below) Everything is clear here.
The width of parts C and D is 8mm larger at the edges from the width of the foam rubber. I sew 10mm. When sewing, it is advisable to pin up the cut with pins, having previously placed marks at the locations of the transverse seams. Especially if the machine is not non-stop. The contour is large - an error occurs.
The cover is put on starting from the filling of the retractor. A twist, pressing down the foam rubber. Easier to do together, one is not comfortable.

Sitting comfortably in this chair, you can safely say that you are sitting in your own library. Indeed, such a chair is a mobile mini-library and is the ideal furniture option for book lovers. Isn't it a great idea to combine a chair and bookcase into a single furniture module! Here at the same time there are shelves for storing books and a place for reading them.
There are enough shelves to accommodate a large number of books and magazines. Such furniture - perfect option for small spaces... But you are unlikely to buy such a mini-library chair anywhere, but you can make it yourself if you follow the advice of the German magazine Selber Machen. It is recommended that all parts of the chair be made of 16 mm. MDF boards... Instead of MDF board, multi-layer plywood is quite suitable for this purpose. The dimensions of all parts of the chair are shown in the figure.

Before assembling, I process the parts with sandpaper. Especially carefully work the edges at the cutting points. Then all surfaces of the parts should be covered with two coats of furniture enamel. The color can be chosen independently and optionally, as shown in the picture, in dark tones.
The chair assembly sequence is shown in the figure.

For seat, armrests and interior cladding you will need foam rubber and upholstery fabric. The color of the fabric should be in harmony with the color of the enamel used to paint the chair.

Armchair - bed (without frame)
To make 1 bed chair, you will need 2 sheets of foam rubber 10 cm wide, size 100 cm by 200 cm. Furniture fabric -3 meters, 7 locks - 80 cm zippers, reinforced threads, a little PVA glue to glue the foam rubber between the layers. Sewing machine, the ability to scribble, the desire to create. If you sew 3 chairs, it takes 5 sheets of foam rubber.

The chair consists of 4 parts
We cut the foam rubber into blanks
... square 80cm x 80cm - 2 pieces
... rectangle 80cm x 60cm - 2 pieces
... rectangle 80cm x 20cm - 2 pieces
... rectangle 80cm x 30cm - 2 pieces (see photo pink)

We glue 2 layers of 10 cm foam rubber of each part together. All parts become 20 cm high.
Then we cut furniture fabric according to the same principle as foam rubber (given without seam allowances).
For seams of 1-1.5 cm.
1 piece
1.1. square 80cm x 80cm - 2 pieces
1.2. rectangle 20 cm x 160 cm - 3 pieces
We fold two parts 1.3 in half, sew locks towards each other.

It turns out a prefabricated part of 20 cm x 160 cm. Sew sides a) and b) and, according to the principle of a suitcase, we collect a square. Do not forget to sew the handles down to make it easier to carry the chair, just do not rush to insert the foam rubber. It must be inserted when the entire cover has been sewn-assembled completely. By the same principle, we cut and sew parts 2,3,4.
An important fact: initially provide for the principle on which you will connect the parts together, so that later there will be no problems. For those who know how to sew, I suggest a sewn-in option, that is, when connecting part 1.1 with part 1.2

On both sides, sew on a double strip of fabric on the inside of almost the entire width of the chair, as small as possible.
The smaller the gap, the tighter the parts will then be assembled into the chair.
Or you can sew up a double strip, as shown in the photo

when all 4 parts of the chair are sewn, look carefully at the photo only for the principle and the connection points.

We sew 2 piece of the chair
2.1. rectangle 80cm x 60cm - 2 pieces
2.2 rectangle 20 cm x 120 cm - 1 piece
2.3. rectangle 20 cm x 160 cm - 2 pieces
3 armchair detail
rectangle 80 (+ 6cm bend under the lock) cm x 60 cm - 1 piece
square 20cm x 20cm m - 4 pieces
The locks for this part can be trimmed as you like. In one chair, I did not sew two locks and sewed one - 80 cm, but then, when I inserted foam rubber, I was a big problem, even broke the lock and slightly tore the side of the part. To avoid such problems, do not complicate your life, sew in two locks. Try to keep the locks as close as possible to each other at the meeting point.
4 armchair detail
note! - before inserting this part into the cover, I covered it with a thin layer of foam rubber and silk lining material (not necessarily new) just 80 cm wide and sewn by hand. Since on this part the lock is only sewn into the bottom 80 cm wide and it is very difficult to insert, and when covered with silk the foam rubber "slips" inside.
rectangle 20cm x 30cm - 2 pieces
rectangle 20cm x 80cm - 2 pieces
rectangle 80cm x 78cm - 1 piece

4 The armchair part can be sewn separately for the "Sofa-corner"

lay out and sleep.

And when 3 chairs are sewn, fantasize:

There is an assumption that in the future the foam rubber on the front of the seats will probably sag, I think that this is fixable: you can turn the foam rubber in the other direction, or you can add thin foam rubber layers.
Time will show. I wish you success, add your imagination. Use your material possibilities and then the furniture fabric can be applied "abruptly": Leather, fur, combining smooth with a cage, etc.
When sewing parts for internal processing I used an overlog of seams, but you can process it with edging. This will add stiffness. Check out how many bags and schoolbags do it.

And now there is enough necessary information for craftsmen who make furniture with their own hands - the ergonomics of the chair. Everyone has long known that making homemade products, including furniture, is not at all difficult. It is important that it is comfortable to use. This is where the science of ergonomics comes in handy.

Sometimes old unnecessary things can be turned into a worthy and functional decoration for a summer residence. In today's review, we will focus on old chairs, from which, with a little imagination, you can make really interesting decorative, and in some cases functional items: garden flower stands, coat hangers, shelves, swings, benches, etc. Below are examples of what can be made from unnecessary chairs. Let's get started ...

1. Hanger.

Necessary thing in everyday life - a hanger, it can be in the form of a coat hanger or wall. Option with wall hanger easy to implement, for this you just need to remove the back from the chair, tie a string on its upper part, drive a carnation into the wall and hang this structure on it.

A hanger-hanger, in general, is also not difficult to make, for this you need to stock up on curved hooks, the size of the crossbar in the closet and the backs of unnecessary chairs. With a thin drill in the upper part of the back of the chair, you need to create a hole in which to insert the pre-prepared hooks, covered at the base with a generous layer of glue.

2. Swing.

Great idea for a swing seat. It is necessary to take a seat with a back from an unnecessary chair, nail down two cross-beams from below, drill holes along the edges of which to thread the ropes. Fix the finished rocker on a sturdy tree. Children will be delighted, especially if the seat is painted in some bright shade.

3. A chair from an old tree stump.

There is an old, hard-hitting tree stump in the garden, so why not make an outwardly attractive chair out of it. To do this, take the seat of a chair and glue or nail it to the top of the stump. The seat can be painted in a bright shade or decorated using decoupage technique.

4. Rocking chair.

Many people dream of a rocking chair, but it can be made from an unnecessary chair. To do this, you need to order semicircular beams from the carpenter or remove several planks from wooden barrel, and secure a chair on them.

5. Bed for a pet.

Below you can see how loving owners delight their beloved pets. To make such a bed, it is necessary to prepare a box in which to put a foam mattress, make the headboard from the back of the chair, and the foot from the legs of the chair.

6. Shop or bench.

On three chairs without seats installed in a row, you can put a board upholstered with a pleasant-to-touch material with a foam layer. Various options makeshift benches can be explored in the photo below.

7. Stand for a bowl of a large dog.

A large pet can be fed from a bowl attached to the seat of the chair; for this, simply cut a circle in the seat of the chair with a jigsaw to fit the size of the bottom of the bowl. Thus, the dog will not be able to throw over the bowl of food or water.

8. Shelf.

From the back of the chair, as well as part of the seat, you will get an excellent shelf for small things, the options for such shelves can be explored in the photos below.

9. Sleds.

And here is another great idea on the topic of "what you can do from old chairs with your own hands" - a sled. Highly interesting idea, but requires design, the location of each detail must be carefully thought out so that in the end the sled is safe in operation.

10. Flower stand.

The most demanded idea of using old chairs is a garden flower stand. For the manufacture of such decorative element it is necessary to cut a hole in the seat of the chair to the size of the future pot installed in it. The photo below shows the manufacturing process of such a stylish garden stand for flowers.

More examples of flower stands:

11. Box for storing magazines and newspapers.

From the legs of the chairs, you can put together an excellent box for storing correspondence - newspapers, magazines, letters.

Also, the box can be made of flat boards, and fixed between the legs of the chair at an angle, as in the photo below.

12. Bright chairs.

This point implies the restoration of an old chair, or rather sanding it, and then painting it in a bright acid shade, as a result, the chair turns out to be so fashionable that it is simply impossible to guess about its previous deplorable state.

Flower stand from an old chair:

After this review, the question of what can be done from the old chair should stop bothering you, it remains only to choose suitable idea, and start implementing it. It would seem that - old chair, well, what can be done out of it, someone might say “throw it away and forget it,” but in the country, the ideas presented above will be very relevant, so if you have such retro items in your house, do not rush to dispose of them, at present, this the nostalgic direction is in great demand.

Interior portal "Decorol" invites its readers to subscribe to receive interior ideas for themselves on email, the subscription form is in the sidebar.

In modern furniture stores you can find any piece of furniture for every taste and for every style. Occasionally, the financial situation or too high requirements do not allow finding a suitable chair in style and comfort.

That is why now you can find instructions on how to make a chair with your own hands step by step.

What kind of chairs can you make yourself?

On the Internet, you can find a lot of instructions on how to make a chair, which is why everyone can do it, especially if you know how to use a standard set of tools.

First you need to buy everything you need, the missing tools and materials, and then start creating sketches and drawings of the future piece of furniture.
