If the chestnut is young and does not want to start blooming in any way, then the plant simply has not formed yet. You should wait. The minimum age for a horse chestnut to bloom is 10 years, while for other species this figure may be higher, on average 15 seasons. If you are sure that your chestnut has already reached the required age, then you need to look for another reason for the lack of flowering. Perhaps it's all about a lack of moisture. Chestnut loves water very much. Sometimes bud candles appear on the plant, but never open. This may indicate dry air and soil.

There is a plant called chestnutosperum. It can be grown at home. This variety of chestnut in nature blooms for six months, but this cannot be achieved in indoor conditions.
