The user himself can create the required water pressure by turning the regulator to the extreme position. It so happens that the spark seems to skip, but it still fails to turn on the column. Highly common reason a contaminated ignition nozzle turns out to be, which is purged and cleaned mechanically. You should also check if the ignition electrode is correctly positioned.
Additional measures are opening verification gas valve, removal of air trapped in the gas pipeline and replacement of the problematic electronic unit.
