We ourselves must manage our life so that it suits us, so we need to think about changing it constantly, even when we don't want to change anything. There is no need to be afraid of what is natural and inevitable in this world. And the world is constantly changing, for it change is a natural process and inevitable, so you need to treat it completely calmly. And then, as I wrote above, it is interesting to change your life and change yourself along with it!

Pay your attention to how many people, on the one hand, want stability, tranquility, certainty, comfort and confidence in the future, and on the other hand, they want changes, novelty, something unusual and interesting, they want some surprises, preferably pleasant, and in some cases even not very pleasant, but exciting. How is this possible, how can you want mutually exclusive things? And it is very simple, it is only from the point of view of linear logic that stability and changes are mutually exclusive, but if you look at these things more broadly, if you think not logically, but in parallel, allowing the simultaneous existence of both of these processes, then we will see that the whole point is in control and man's management of changes in his life and in what they lead to, and not in the desire or unwillingness of the person to have them in his life. We, basically, of course, need pleasant, positive changes, and, if possible, controlled by us, then we will be glad that our life is changing - for the better. After all, no one will give up the best, even to the detriment of the good, if he knows for sure that the best is actually better. Plus to this - a lifestyle based on constant changes, in itself quite interesting, it allows a person to experience a lot of unusual sensations that we all strive for, therefore, even in those cases when everything is good and calm, people are drawn to change something. We were born in order to change this world, this need is inherent in our genes, so it pulls us towards this. And if you also teach a person to constant changes, then he will strive for them and will be happy with them, despite any, even the most negative consequences of these changes. But at the same time, for some reason we are still drawn to some kind of stability and certainty. I wonder why?

And the whole point is that you and I were taught to be afraid of change, we were taught to live the usual measured life, in which everything is clear and everything is clear, and for many years there are practically no significant changes that would force us to adapt to new conditions, to learn something new, to change oneself, in accordance with the new requirements that life presents. Therefore, most people live in a psychological swamp, which drives them into a state of hibernation, making their life so monotonous that they do almost all their daily activities automatically. Agree, there is no need to remain vigilant when in your life, day after day, everything goes according to your usual scenario, when you don't even need to think too much about what and why you need to do today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. Home-work, home-work - this chain of recurring events in a person's life is familiar to many, and it is only diluted with various kinds of social rituals [holidays, various traditional events, weddings, funerals, etc.], but in general, it is just like that - for many years. I even know people whose life has a chain of the following type: home-work-work-work-home. And the point is not even that they work a lot, very much, but that they do not like their work, they are not interested in it, and it does not develop them at all. The question is, how can you live such a life? Only being in hibernation, nothing else. A healthy mind of a healthy person simply cannot withstand such a life; it will go mad. And why live like this, friends, why turn yourself into a zombie and live unnatural for normal person life? After all, such a life, it is, shall we say, meaningless. People can live like this for a hundred, and two hundred, and a thousand years, and will not even notice how time flies, because gray and monotonous days in their lives will lay on top of each other and take shape in years and decades of a monotonous, uniform, often gray and a completely meaningless life, the purpose of which is to maintain itself unchanged. But why? Why is such a life necessary? That is the question. Is it just to live? Do you think that there is no alternative to such a life, do you think you will not survive if you live differently? How can you survive!

Thus, friends, the most important thing that you need to do in order to change your life is to give up stability, calmness, certainty, predictability and, in general, from the automatism of your life, for all these are unnatural and unnecessary things to you that make your state unnatural. mind. You need to give up all these stupid habits that you cultivate and cherish as part of yourself. Keyword here "refuse". You need a refusal - a refusal from everything that has long been firmly embedded in your life, but what is the time and what you can change! Without refusal, there will be no changes - you need to let go of the old in order to take the new into them, because you cannot hold both of them in your hands at the same time. Do not be afraid of losses, do not be afraid of unpredictability, do not be afraid of the unknown - believe in your ability to take more of what you now have and what you can refuse. And boldly give up the old for the sake of the new - only in this way will you change your life.

And how to give up stability, calmness, certainty, automatism of actions, habits, if they hold you in a stranglehold? After all, this is not so easy to do - it is difficult for a person to give up something and part with something, for him it is a very painful procedure. To do this, friends, you need to stop living in fear, and as mentioned above - start believing in your abilities! And in order to believe in them, they need to be developed. If you have not developed professionally and personally for years, then of course, you will not have any faith in yourself, because this faith will simply have nothing to rely on. You will be afraid of change until you make yourself a strong, independent, self-confident person by working on yourself. And no one bothers you to do this work.

So stop being afraid, stop shaking in front of the unknown, before changes, before everything new, wake up in yourself - a human explorer, a human cognizer, a human discoverer, a human conqueror, a human hunter, a human fighter and a human creator. No one, you hear, no one bothers you to make yourself like that - work on yourself, develop yourself, improve your professionalism, study new types of activities for you that are in demand in society, increase your competitiveness, and then no changes will be scary to you. When you give up everything, everything old and unnecessary, you will have nothing to lose. And a person who has nothing to lose has nothing to be afraid of! The main thing is that you have yourself - that's all you need in this life.

Just think, dear readers, what does it mean for a person - to give up everything that he is used to, because this also means - to wake up, open your eyes to reality and begin to behave in accordance with it. current state, in accordance with its characteristics and taking into account their real capabilities and needs. You need to understand what and why you are going to change in your life, you must decide what you want to come to, so as not to go blindly. I have noticed many times, including on my own, that the more a person dreams and plans, the more desirable for him are various changes in his life, most of which he himself usually initiates. Today it is difficult for us to be ahead of our time, because the world, as I said, is changing incredibly fast, but nevertheless it is possible. To do this, you need to dream, plan, fantasize, and not try to keep up with other people, copying their lives and themselves. Your dreams and fantasies are the energy that will allow you to get off the ground and start acting if these dreams and fantasies are very bright and beautiful. You understand, the brighter the pictures in your head will be, which will be possible options your beautiful future, the stronger your desire will be to start doing something right now to make these pictures a reality. It is difficult for people with poorly developed imaginations to imagine something that does not yet exist, therefore, when this something appears, they are not only surprised by this, but also afraid of it. And that is why they perceive any changes in their lives very painfully. But imagination can be developed, this is not a problem, you just need to set such a goal for yourself, and then, yourself or with someone else's help, begin to realize it. And when you can imagine something new for yourself, which is not in your life yet, but what you would like to see, you can find a way / ways to come to this. After all, in order to change your life, you need to at least approximately imagine what it should become after these changes. And she should get better, much better. So do not limit yourself in fantasies and desires.

Think right now and imagine - what new do you want to see in your life, and most importantly - what of the old are you ready to give up for this? And then ask yourself another question - what do you need to start doing right now, to see it, to create it, to come to this, to get it? For example - would you like to change your place of residence, or maybe you would like to change your job? Why not? Is the place where you live now the best in the world? Is your job exactly the job you've dreamed of all your life? Just do not say that you are used to all this - for there is nothing worse for the "living", a conscious person than a habit. Yes, friends, there is one very important rule life that sounds like this - don't get used to anything! You can change your life for the worse, or you can get nothing from your changes, no one is ever safe from this. Will this mean that these changes were unnecessary and even harmful to you? No, it will not. Changes are needed anyway. And that's why. The fact is that a person has an adaptive instinct that helps him, when necessary, to adapt and adapt to any conditions. Phrases about the comfort zone, like a cocoon, entwined from stereotypes and habits, and like a spider's web dragging us into everyday life, have already become commonplace. I don’t want to, but I have to repeat them over and over again so that everyone thinks: “Is this how I want to live? Am I happy? Are you satisfied with the status quo? And what gives me true joy? "

Do not think, I am by no means claiming that our daily life is an annoying routine burden that needs to be dropped as soon as possible. No, the everyday life around us can also be beautiful, if only you merge with it harmoniously.

But, if you still feel that you are at odds with yourself, you do not have the opportunity to realize your potential and as if you are living someone else's life, it is time to act. Boldly and decisively!

To help you, I will cite three stories from the lives of my acquaintances. These people were able to step out of their comfort zone, challenge habits and go out to meet desires. I have known some of them for several years, some for several months, but well enough to admire their courage and willingness to change.

So, the first story, slightly reminiscent of the tale of Cinderella

Alyonushka was born in an ordinary Nizhny Novgorod village in a friendly large family. Life has never spoiled her, and therefore from the age of 15, Alena got a job. At first, it was a part-time job as an administrator in a children's center, night shifts in a grocery store, then employment in a cafe and, finally, in a beauty salon and a fitness club.

By the age of 23, Alena was the administrator of a large shopping center and had several dozen people under his command. She liked her job, leading people was her vocation. Along the way, she worked as a beauty salon administrator and had the opportunity to look great for little money. But she understood that it was temporary. I wanted more.

Live in Nizhny Novgorod, despite the closeness of relatives and an abundance of friends, she seemed boring. Moscow more and more often attracted our heroine, and one fine day she took a one-way ticket.
This is not a story about how Cinderella conquered Moscow. This is a story about how Alena was looking for herself.

In Moscow, after wandering around friends for a month and eating more than one dog in search of rental housing, the brave girl found an inexpensive apartment in the center and a neighbor with whom they shared the rent. All this time she was looking for a job, but did not grab the first offer that came across. This should be a dream job. Such, for which it was worth going to the metropolis.

Finally, the girl got the position of project coordinator in a website development company. She had a lot to learn new information and join a difficult team. However, if Alena coped with the duties perfectly, then the team was not easy. The higher men made it clear that, in addition to direct, Alena needs to perform some other duties. Alena did not bend.

The desire to change something in her life again bit her desperately. But the wise office worker endured two years to gain the necessary experience, and then changed jobs. Simply put, it passed from customers to their own customers.

The new job gave much more satisfaction, but could not stand the difficult economic situation. Section after section was closed. Alena was laid off.

And then into one wonderful moment circumstances (oh, a great word!) developed in such a way that Alena's skills helped her find. More precisely, the work itself found it. A friend, and part-time partner, recommended Alena to the contractors of the closing company. The salary was two times less, but the opportunity to work without visiting the office attracted more money than any money. Now Alena was engaged in online advertising.

Together with new job the girl traveled to her parents in the village, to friends at the dacha and even to the Netherlands for an internship (yes - yes, internships happen with remote workers). With remote work, Alena was able to organize her working day in accordance with biorhythms, desires and habits. Started practicing yoga and found time for Business English courses.

But the story doesn't end there. Remote work instilled (or, say, finally instilled) in the girl a love of freedom and gave an understanding of the optimal organization of the work process. And Alyonka does not lack organizational skills.

So, our heroine, having calculated all the risks in her mind (and those who do not take risks, you yourself know ...), organized her own company to create websites and related services. The case is developing, but, most importantly, it brings moral satisfaction. And it's worth a lot!

Elena is from a small town Ivanovo region... Her father was a teacher, was very fond of animals and even went on business with a tame pig. Since childhood, Elena dreamed of working as a veterinarian.

But when it was time to go to college, her parents explained to Elena that a veterinarian is an extremely low-profile profession and she would have to settle in the village forever and “twist the tails of the cows on the farm”. Elena went to the pedagogical.

Elena is an excellent teacher. Children love her for her conscientious work and heartfelt attitude. But life in a service apartment in Nizhny Novgorod did not in any way seduce a lover of nature and fluffy animals of all stripes. She and her husband already had a house in a small, half-abandoned village.

Near the hut, which for many years has been rebuilt from something (and gradually turned into two-storey house), unprecedented flowers were already blooming, and future homework was growing. And one day chickens settled there.

And then it went like a knurled one. After the chickens, rabbits started up (it all started with one pair), then the incubator started working, and all this was clearly going to winter. At first, Elena and Alexander visited the pets every weekend.

Each trip was perceived as an exciting journey to your favorite places. And later, when Alexander retired for seniority, the couple decided to permanently move to their beloved village.

The children had already grown up by that time, but the animals demanded more and more trouble. And the zealous owners decided to completely move to the village. Elena did not wait for her retirement. Instead, she made a suitable schedule for herself at work and commutes 120 km to work in the city every 4 days.

The city is tiresome, but at the same time it is a place for the purchase of feed and sale of agricultural products. And it cannot be counted, because sheep, goats and pigs appeared on the farm, and the total livestock has grown to such an extent that the number of “all together” cannot be calculated.

And even if you have to get up, as they say, it’s not dawn, even if you feel a pleasant ache in your body in the evening, but the spouses greet every day with joy, and the children try to come to the village every free minute.

The third story, absolutely fantastic

Sometimes, in order to find your way, you have to deviate abruptly from it.

Anna is a very young girl, she is only 19. She grew up in Tatarstan. At the age of 17 she moved from hometown to the capital of the republic. She began her career from the bottom, but in a large company. At one fine moment (and again an accident?), The manager urgently needed a person to replace. The conditions for Anyuta were set as follows: if he copes, he will remain in office. Anya did it.

By the age of 19, Anna held a high position in a well-known automotive company. The salary was enough to rent an apartment in the center of Kazan and not deny myself anything. But the flip side of the coin - work for wear, almost complete lack of time for sleep and rest - made itself felt. Increasingly, Anna asked herself the question: in the name of what is all this? The neurosis was growing.

One night, Anya turned on the TV and watched a film about a woman who, in a critical situation, went out into the field, shouted everything that had accumulated in her soul, and after that she adjusted her life.

The solution was found!

Without thinking twice, Anyuta threw on her coat, grabbed a handbag and called a taxi to the nearest vacant lot. The starry sky and the cold March night were waiting for her revelations.

At dawn, Anya walked to the house. The road was as silent and deserted as it had been at night, but the silence became the background for the indulgent insights. Anya understood: now she wants to fly away.

The rising sun found Anya at the airport. Anya flew to the Crimea. Without going home. Without collecting things. Without saying goodbye to anyone. And that is why the director's call was so distant ... So far that until now Anyuta has not written a letter of resignation. She just left.

Arriving in Simferopol, literally, what and with what she was (there was a passport, a pack of cigarettes and 5,000 rubles in her purse), Anyuta began to live according to the laws of countless romantically-minded vagabonds: fleeting acquaintances, complete separation from reality and boundless fun.

Having received free time, Anya learned to appreciate every moment of it. Now she began to listen to herself and ponder what kind of lifestyle suits her.

Friends received Anya at times for several weeks. But the moment came when it was necessary to leave the most hospitable houses. This did not frighten Anya. She was free like the wind. Without money. Mom only replenished her mobile account.

About the difficulties endured on the way (and it was rains and cold) Anna says: "I spent the night in the most beautiful and picturesque places of the southern coast and ate healthy food cooked in spring water."

The most interesting thing is that the things that Anya sincerely needed came to her themselves. People gave her summer dresses, a swimsuit, shoes, a blanket and even a tent. Six months ago, at the beginning of the journey, I would never have thought that tens of thousands of kilometers of walking and hitchhiking would SO cardinally change my world ”.

Wonderful facts only confirm the idea that with the disappearance of the usual comfort, new opportunities open up for us. You just need to be able to use them.

Anyuta used it until she understood what she wants from life: she will create and share her experience with others.

In August, Anya returned to her homeland. Having correctly prioritized, she thought about choosing a profession (which will certainly be associated with creativity), and is currently going to go to China and India for inspiration. And I firmly believe that she will succeed.

These three beautiful women left a deep mark in my life. Each of them knows what she wants and is firmly on her way to her goal. And, if suddenly the goals change, each will be ready for a sharp turn. But all these goals can be reduced to one - harmony with oneself and happiness.

People who have changed their lives, despite fears, stereotypes and their own insecurity, themselves change for the better. At the very least, they become more open, bold and determined. In addition, adapting to a new situation forces you to change your thinking, improving its flexibility and expanding horizons. So, you should definitely try.

I myself have repeatedly had to unfold life 90, and sometimes 180 degrees. Break your own stereotypes, radically change views and principles and, most importantly, follow them.

Therefore, I developed a certain algorithm of actions for a cardinal revolution in fate:

  1. Cast aside all fears. If that fails, reflect on your biggest fear and make sure it's not all that bad. (For example: the worst thing that can happen if I change jobs (move to another area) is that I will have very little money. in general, I write articles (and some of you bake cakes or sew clothes) to order).
  2. Not sure where to start? Take the first step. Convincing yourself that this is only the first step, which will not affect anything, does not oblige you to anything, and, in which case, everything can be finished with this. In fact, your first step influences a lot, and when you step, you will go to new level consciousness and achievement of your own goal, which you can no longer refuse. Moreover, if you are on the right way, then see for yourself how everything starts to work out from the first step. In the future, of course, there will be difficulties, but the biggest difficulty - to decide on changes, is already over.
  3. Treat the difficulties that come your way as tests and tempering of character. Believe that they are all sent down to you in order to show your true capabilities. In addition, do not forget that overcoming obstacles, coupled with drastic changes, in no time gets rid of depression caused by routine and everything that develops against its background.   4. When most of the path has already been covered, there is no point in stopping. But it always makes sense to adjust plans along the way. The main thing is not to break the contract with the dream.
