How transpersonal psychotherapy works. Transpersonal psychotherapy: effective techniques with a thousand-year history

The emergence and formation of this, fourth, directions in modern psychology and psychotherapy deserves some preliminary comments. Related chronologically to the sixtieth years of the twentieth century, this direction is both a brighter illustration of interdependencies in the development of psychology, both from the socio-economic and cultural, scientific and political situation as a whole. And indeed, it is impossible not to pay attention to certain space-time coordinates of the occurrence of one or another direction in psychology and psychotherapy, due to both scientific, and obviously with the general (philosophical, sociocultural, economic, etc.) prerequisites. End of the XIX - the beginning of the twentieth century - Europe - psychoanalysis. The beginning of the twentieth century - the USA and Russia - behaviorism. The thirties and fifties are Europe and the United States - the formation of humanistic paradigm and cognitive psychology.

A special place and role in the further development of the modern theory and practice of psychological assistance occupy the 1960s, which put the United States of America in the center of new powerful currents, where, after the Second World War, a huge economic and scientific potential was accumulated, while Europe was rebuilt after Two catastrophic world wars.

In general, the 60s of the twentieth century deserve at least a brief mention of themselves as a fundamentally new era in the lives of mankind, the epoch, which most directly changed the world of people on the planet Earth, and representing people about the world. Recall the most impressive events of the era of the sixties. Among them: the human yield outside the stratosphere to the outer space and the landing of the first in the history of mankind of cosmonauts on the moon; Creating a global network of TV communications, which turned the globe, according to the expression of the Canadian sociologist, Mucchan, to the World Village; creation of computer networks that fundamentally changed handling both technological and social processes; Opening and experimental studies of a whole class of psychedelic substances that change the usual brain activity; achieve immunology that allowed the first time to carry out the transplantation of human bodies; The formation of a fundamentally new, methane scientific reflection (work of T. Kuna, K. Popper, P. Feyerabend), which transformed not only an understanding of science, but also the vision of the laws of its formation and development.

The sixties of the twentieth century became a kind of watershed, denoted by the transition to a different method of the existence of human civilization. The main difference is its existence not at the expense of resource-producing industries, but at the expense of high-tech high technologies.

In these years and declared itself the direction, which later received the name of transpersonal psychology.

Psychological and natural scientific origins. Presentation of a person. As a recognition of one of the most prominent representatives of the transpersonal paradigm of Stanislav Grofa (r. In 1931), although transpersonal psychology and took shape as an independent discipline only in the late 1960s, transpersonal trends in psychology have already existed for several decades. The most prominent fores of this direction were K. G. Jung, R. Assajioli and A. Oil (Grof, p. 141). In the generalized characteristic of referred to the authors, we indicate some concepts and provisions substantial for this direction, as well as a number of ideas of Roberto Assaji, who served as part of his concept of "psychosynthesis", nominated in 1927, one of the components of the "fourth power".

First, it is the UNGOVIE CONCEPT "Archetype", i.e. Mythifantry set of characters. Secondly, it is a "collective unconscious" (generalized mythologies), reflecting the historical and sociocultural experience of humanity and the "personal" unconscious (individual symbolism) of dreams. Thirdly, it is passing by a red thread through many writings of K. Young idea about the deep, in some way even a mystical connection between the phenomena, which K. Jung called the "main law of life", and S. Grof - "Akhausal Principle of Synchronism" (Grof , p. 143), which denoted a certain depth unity of the world ("everything in everything"). Fourth, for the first time after E. Gusserly, the idea that "a mental factor is as real as a bacterial infection" (C. jung, p. 257).

And, perhaps, one of the main provisions is the desire for an individual as one of the main aspirations of the "ego" to merge with the "self-sufficiency", and the latter - to the free admission to the life of the world, the Universe.

As for A. Oil, his ideas about self-realization, the differences in the motivation of the scarce and motivation of development, the knowledge of development, about knowledge by peak experiences as the means of "acute experiences of their identity" (Maslow A., p. 103), as well as Regulations on a healthy psyche, as about the psyche capable "transcendent the world"(Maslow A., p. 181) - these ideas also entered the Golden Fund of Transpersonal Psychology.

However, this list would not be complete, we will not stop at least in the brief description of the contribution of R. Assagoli. The originality of this contribution is that in its conceptual basis, the concept of R. Assajioli, according to his recognition, almost entirely compile (the idea of "sublipses" - borrowed from W. James, the idea of growth, development is common to many directions and concepts, the concepts " Values "and" meaning ", as of" choice "and" responsibility "- belong to existential philosophy).

The specificity consists in the following: 1) the emphasis is made on the will of which - arbitrariness, motivation, decision, confirmation, perseverance and execution - are tracked specifically; 2) the experience of living and experiencing situations and states that are not only invoked in memory, but also stimulated in psychother engineering; 3) special attention is paid not to the problem of loneliness, but on the contrary, ways to cooperate, interaction, the harmonious integration of people constituting "one mankind" (Assagioli, p. 4-8); 4) The purpose of psychosynthesis is the reconstruction of the person around a certain new center (p. 21) using the entire apparatus of modern psychotherapy (symbolism, psychotechnics); 5) One of the main ideas of psychosynthesis: we are in subordination of everything, with which our self is identified. We can take the top and subordinate to the control of everything, with which you sort by (Assagioli, p. 23). However, as it is customary to speak, the concept of the concept is most likely in its purely practical, psychotechnical orientation, allowing the use of multiple techniques to achieve the main supercount - achieve new integrity.

Developing the ideas of O. Ranka and V. Raikha on the meaning of psychosexual discharge, using the techniques of L. Orra and S. Ray, enriched with the religious traditions of the East and scientific research of such scientists, like Bateson, S. Grof, J. Campbell, Art. Krippner, M. Merfi, K. Pribram and other, concepts, submission and ideas of transpersonal psychology offer an expectation outside the personal "ego", the formation of fundamentally different - worldwide and universal, outside (or all) temporary transchinarity identities.

Conceptual postulates based on transpersonal psychology are summarized by C. Harf as follows.

First of all, this is a refusal to the ideas of classical science, overcoming the mechanistic, ascending to Newton and Descarte, paintings of the world. "Newtonian mechanics," writes S. Grof, "can be interpreted as a special case of Einstein theory of relativity, and a certain explanation can be offered in the dynamics of its applicability" (Grof, 1993, p. 21). Next - recognition of the principal significance of any idea or a system of thinking as potentially heuristic. "There is no such idea or a system of thinking, let the most ancient or absurd, which would not be capable of improving our knowledge" (Grof, p. 29). Consciousness is postulated as the only reality that constitutes the primary and unsalted attribute of existence (ibid, p. 38-56).

Transpersonal psychology not only rejects the idea of a person solely as a biological machine, but also, in accordance with the principle of complementarity ("Copenhagen Interpretation"), it comes from the fact that "he (man - A. B.) is simultaneously a material object ... and an extensive field of consciousness "(ibid., p. 62). Understanding the consciousness as a limit basis attribute and the method of existence of the world correlates C. Grof with an understanding of the dual (corpuscular and wave) nature of light. Therefore, in particular, the principles and techniques of holography (photos based on the separation of wave and phase properties of light is, according to S. Grofa, the "magnificent model" of the state of consciousness and the corresponding phenomena.

The structure of the human psyche. In the representations of transpersonal psychology, as applied from the very name, the fundamentally different, non-interstitious understanding of the psyche is laid. The main components of this understanding include: the global category "Consciousness", which covered the entire reality of the universe; Condensed experience systems (skate), dynamic semantic thickens carrying a variety of information related to the life of the body as such, including "memory" about his birth, death and regeneration, as well as an extensive region of the unconscious, called S. Grofa "TransPersonal region "Under which there is a real and virtual experience of the experience of unusual states. ECS includes and pre-commercial, perinatal - related - experiences. Speaking about the levels of perinatal experiences, S. Grof distinguishes four typical patterns called "basic perinatal matrices" (BPM): BPM-1 - in which the biological basis is the experience of symbiotic unity of the fetus with the parent organism; BPM-2; which reflects the beginning of biological birth, the period of pre-sodes; BPM-3, fixing the moment of completing the fetus by generic channels; BPM-4, correlated with the stage of the direct appearance of a child to light, his birth.

Accordingly, each basic perinatal matrix implies certain experiences that are symbolicly reproduced by the limit experiences of a person crystallized in the most generalized myths, spiritual, religious and metaphysical systems of humanity. Among them: Myths about the Golden Age (RAE) and Mother Nature (1); about exile from paradise, journey hero, hell (2); ideas about sabers, satanic orgies, wars and revolutions, sacrifice of Christ, Phoenix bird (3); Finally, the ideas about the salvation and the atonement of sins, purification from the firm and the bogguor in the form of a radiant light source (4).

Transpersonal experiences. The concept reflects the experiences emerging far beyond the limits of individual existence: human connection from the universe (on the macro of micro level); The experience of various levels of consciousness (from intracellular to superconscious); transcendence of ordinary temporal and spatial dimensions; Experience of meetings with superhuman spiritual entities, etc. S. Grof developed a detailed cartography of the unconscious, in which they found their place as sociocultural, religious and mystical and paranormal phenomena, which make up the specifics of such a multidimensional, dynamic, holographic education, which is presented to this scientist and its like-minded psychics.

Description of the psychotherapeutic process and its goals. In various directions of transpersonal psychology with its obviously pronounced psychotechnical orientation (holotropic respiration, ribs, Vaewishn), the focus is on self-examination and self-development.

Spiritual development (under which the enrichment of new sensory and visionary experience transforming personal meanings, and perception of life situations in general, and personal transformations aimed at overcoming egocentric alienation from the world), great tolerance in the spirit of "antipsychiatric flow" D. Coper and P . Lening, refusal to the medical model of relationships with the client, the full activation of the latter, including with the help of direct physical contact ("Working with the body"), the use of Eastern Psychotechnics - All this defines a special strategy to approach psychotherapeutic practice. The strategy that could be summarized as follows: such patients (customers) are welcome, which: a) did not suffer and do not suffer from mental illness; b) possess certain personal characteristics that allow them to take care of their inner world; c) differ in sufficient levels of residence of somatic health.

One of the main features of the therapeutic process is, therefore, the emphasis is not on the change, but on the self-examination, on the "experience", on the operation in which exciting discoveries and spontaneous self-describing may occur. Therefore, transpersonal sessions combine both group work, and working with the body, and the provision of information and experimentation with the techniques of consciousness change. Fundamentally unacceptable in this interpretation; Any position of the leading "above" is marked from the very beginning. The partnership and independence of participants in such work are strengthened by the constant change of roles: testes and assistant during the experience of therapeutic sessions. Thus, not so much the therapeutic focus as other, "innovative education", deeply personalized training by transpersonal experience is as follows the general concept of psychological assistance implemented in the transparency paradigm.

The common purpose of transpersonal psychotherapy proclaims the integration of the chilotropic and holotropic modes of being - the harmony of somatic, spiritual and mental health. A private purpose may be psychological assistance to people who are experiencing acute crisis states. The general strategy of psychological assistance is to "fully empirically immerse themselves in the topic released on the surface and, at its end, return to the untied and complete experience of this" (Grof, p. 285). In other words, we are talking About as possible to emotional reacting of painful experiences, about their outgoing and resolution in the domestic, and not in the external event and situational terms.

Psychotechnics in transpersonal psychotherapy. The main purpose of the psychotechnic used in transpersonal psychotherapy is to activate the unconscious and providing emotional response (in the language of S. Grofa - "Energy Unlocking", held back by emotional and psychosomatic symptoms). Unlike multi-line rationalization in defense of expanded limits of understanding and making mental norms, techniques in transpersonal therapy are extremely simple. So, according to the "Rebiing" method (from the English. "Rebirth" - "revival") developed by Leonard Orrome, the patient falls on his back and within an hour with superfluous produces deep breaths in the mouth to saturate the organism with oxygen. As a result, the effect of hyperventilation occurs, which allows to develop the brain brain inhibition and activate the feeder, causing outstrigerated from the consciousness of the experience.

The technique of "free breathing" (developed by domestic followers of "rebetes") also prescribes a special way of uninterrupted (without pauses) of alternation of inhalation and exhalation in certain rhythms, the purpose of which is to achieve hyperventilation. When a person deeply breathes, concentration is significantly increased in his blood carbon dioxideWhat leads to narrowing vessels. Oxygen is fixed with hemoglobin, and red blood calves are worse given to its fabrics. There is paradoxical oxygen starvation from excess air.

Approximately the same occurs in asthmatics, during angina and hypertension, when blood as a result of frequent respiration was saturated with oxygen, and the body, its fabrics suffocate from the lack of oxygen. In this state of the "testes" and there is a partial loss of consciousness when experiences are activated, not controlled by the cerebral cortex.

If you add specially selected music, as with the method of holotropic breathing S. Grof, a person in the twilight state of consciousness, devoid of cortical control, emerging experiences acquire as if a guide, in the role of which musical fragments perform, content of their corresponding principal sequence of undergoing basic perinatal matrices. According to S. Grofa: "Focus on emotions and sensations, several deep breaths and encouraging music is usually enough for deep therapeutic experience" (Grof, p. 269).

As in other psychological assistance practices, it is necessary to comply with the confidentiality rule, the stop rule, as well as the creation of an atmosphere of confidence and attention to each other.

As an additional technology, the projective drawings "Mandala" are used, under which the circle "Mandalas" is filled with images of sensory and visionary experience, keeping diaries and free discussion of experience in the group along with bodily exercises in the style of Roshian and Lowen approaches.

Overall assessment of the paradigm. In the overall assessment of transpersonal psychology - directions, the founders of which are published by the C 1969, and have an association (Association for Transpersonal Psychology), directions generated on the ridge of higher scientific achievements of the second half of the twentieth century and, therefore, that depth and inclusion that can only be inherent in a completely definite time - the time when advanced humanity managed not only to break out of its own planet, but also discovered fundamentally different measurements and the possibility of the existence of the universe and life in it - in general evaluation it is impossible Do not distinguish a number of features and signs that reflect, in our opinion, not so much psychological, how many epistemological, epistemological issues of modern science.

It seems essential, firstly, that in the transpersonal paradigm, in particular, in the works of C. Grof, K. Wilbera, S. Krippner and others, the natural science approach to the psyche, which not only rejects any reductionism, but also directly declares Of its scientific positions based on multidimensional and bizarrely iridescent, not obvious, but existing principles and postulates of postclassical knowledge. Principles of complementarity, probabilities, non-equilibrium, industrialismism, virtuality - here is not full list The initial epistemological positions that were not what is not available, but simply the unknown predecessors.

In the approach to transpersonal experiences as a virtual reality generated by the same consciousness, in our opinion, the entire pathos of the transpersonal paradigm is concluded. The only reality, with various manifestations of which we face in the process of life and knowledge, is a thoughtful, mental, thinking reality of consciousness, existing in again and again pulsating and reproducing on different levels information patterns. In the space of this powerful metaphor, consciousness is also inherent in each elementary particle-wave, as well as the whole universe. Life, therefore, there is no separation of the universe, but the form of its existence. The various states of consciousness are, in turn, the reality with which the researcher (psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist) deals directly.

Transpersonal psychology is therefore puts not so much the task of the development of a person or self-organization, how much the task of awareness and self-controling in total integrity with the world, in unity with space-time, microchocosmos, in the congestion of those narrow, mechanistic and conventional boundaries, which imposes an archaic , limited to a certain picture of the world performance.

Transpersonal psychology is an attempt at a modern thinking humanity to advance in its relations with the world on a qualitatively new stage, to the step with which not only the principle of evolution, but also the principle of involution, the principle of generating the lowest of the highest. This paradigm is quite clearly highlighted by the understanding that the world is dependent on our aspirations and ideas.

Of course, transpersonal psychology has its own limitations, and their contradictions that are recognized in it and make up the basis further development. Some of them are obvious: excessive attention to mystical and, in particular, pagan cults; very rough, providing the possibility of speculative and arbitrary use of equipment, including all sorts of "coaches", "psychologists-healers" and other charlatans; Noncritical attitude to hallucinatory and hallucinatorium-like experiencing in various stages of regression and translation states as to "mystical experience." Psychotherapeutic practice (in particular, sessions with children) shows: a person can survive and experience only what is included in the cultural matrix of his consciousness. In addition, not every hallucinatory experience has psychotherapeutic value. Recall at least "white hot" in alcoholics.

King Plays Sweet

Returning to the initial meaning of psychology - the teaching about the soul (Greek. Psyhe - Soul, Logos - Teaching, Science), Transpersonal psychology considers care of the soul as the primary task of psychotherapy. If in classical psychological and psychotherapeutic approaches, for example, as in psychoanalysis, human problems are considered only on the biographical level, then in transpersonal psychotherapy, a wider approach is used, which includes in addition to the biographical level, perinatal (history and experiencing) and transparency (super-sized) Experience that includes human experiences: history of ancestors, phylogenetic experience, world culture; experiencing identification experience with plants, animals, with other personalities, with various forms of consciousness - from identifying with individual bodies to planetary consciousness; Architepical experiences and awareness sacred Knowledge).

Transpersonal psychotherapy is based on ideas about the possibility of implementing the internal, depth transpersonal potential of a person for the healing and recovery of the psyche, for personal and spiritual growth through the indispensable and experience of unsatisfied and unrealized human desires, transformation of the negative consequences of the perinatal period of life, psychotrauming events. This is the value of a transpersonal approach - not only to help solve the deep problems of a person, but also to release a tremendous internal developing and self-satellite potential (resource), as well as teach them to use.

To open and develop the internal transpersonal resource, a wide range of methods and integrative psycho-engineering is used. In the aggregate, they are aimed at establishing a balance and a harmonious merger of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of man. Next, give short review The main methods of transparsonal psychotherapy.

From the point of view of the transpersonal approach, its physical state of health has a direct impact on the mental state of a person. Therefore, besides traditional health procedures - diet, sport, etc., usually recommended when passing therapy, television-oriented techniques - bioenergy therapy Lowen, sensual awareness, dance therapy, various exercises from yoga, Tai dzi-Quan, Oriental martial arts. Such techniques make it possible to better realize the relationship between the body and the soul, to establish the relationship between them and establish a mechanism for the self-describing physical diseases through awareness and subsequent transformation of the problem. Accompanies and subsequent exemption from corporal blocks and clamps allows a person passing therapy to feel more relaxed, due to this in the future, more relaxed, free, and therefore able to realize and solve its problems at a higher level of consciousness.

Methods for working with emotional problems in transpersonal psychotherapy most often use various technical techniques that cause changed states of consciousness that ensure the occurrence of emotional catharsis and transpersonal experiences. Basically, various respiratory techniques are used to achieve modified states of consciousness - ribs, holotropic breathing, Vaewishn.

Also, gestalt-dialogue techniques, directed imaging - the creative visualization of Shakti Gavane, technique of working with dreams developed by S. Laberghem, a creative approach to dream analysis described by S. Krippner and others. Usually, psychologists not having transpersonal orientation are considered Work with dreams as a short and simple path leading to the unconscious, without taking into account the hidden colossal potential providing access to the transpersonal regions of consciousness.

In transparsonal psychotherapy, the methods of existential therapy are also used - helping customers solve problems of choices, meanings, freedom, responsibility, love, death, etc.

In addition to applying the above mentioned psychotherapeutic methods, transpersonal therapists apply techniques taken from ancient spiritual practices - the exercises for the mind and meditation. Having learned in the process of transpersonal therapy with new patterns of attitude towards himself and the surrounding through awareness, that is, learning in different ways to comprehend experiences, a person develops consciousness. In the process of reflection, a cognitive rethinking occurs, which allows you to transform a variety of problems, displaced information and learn more integral and free existence.

Meditation learning allows to successfully add the development of human consciousness, develop attention and concentration. Meditation practice successfully complements transpersonal therapy by efficiently working with an alarm condition caused by displacement to the unconscious important experiences for the client.

Given the variety of transpersonal therapy, only the most frequently used work methods were given and certainly need to be borne in mind that they are much larger. One of the features of transpersonal therapy is that choosing technicians for work, psychotherapist takes into account both personal features and universal - transpersonal. Therefore, both wide transpersonal ideas about a person and its surrounding, as widely and methods used in the practice of transpersonal therapy.

Now, when universal values are becoming increasingly in demand, it is not enough to use only rational approaches in psychotherapy. Eastern wisdom It says: "The problems of the mind of the mind are not solved." Karl Jung, one of the first who appreciated the importance of transpersonal experience, wrote: "In fact, approaching the numeninos is real therapy, and since you achieve numinda experiences you are freed from pathological suffering." In a letter, the founder of the society of anonymous alcoholics, he expressed the idea that: "The desire for alcohol was equivalent to the spiritual thirst for finding the integrity of life at a low level." Later, this hypothesis was confirmed by the studies of Christina and Stanislav Grofa. According to S. Grof, the founder of the holotropic breathing, among alcoholics, which begin to practice deeply connected breathing, sharply decreases the need to tramp themselves with harmful substances. S. Grof was working with a group of alcoholics. And after several sessions, 52% of the subjects stopped drinking at all. A month later, several people were broken. But almost half of the subjects became sober. Also, studies were conducted with people who had addiction to heroin. The third part of the patients was completely rehabilitated, and after all conventional methods Allowed to succeed only in one case out of ten.

Traditional methods of drug treatment - medical detoxification and (or) psychological support rational methods Psychotherapy, are little effective, it confirms the growing statistics. This is due to the multi-levelness of the problem of narcotic drug addiction. As it was experimentally proven by our research, it is explained by the fact that on the deep, unconscious level The personality remains a psychological (emotional) dependence on the states of the given drugs - the changed state of consciousness.

The need for modified states of the state (care in other reality), originally eating each person. In the changed state of the status (ISS), the human brain works in other modes. In the research man gets access to its resources. There are cases when under the influence of strong experiences, a person performed the actions that are impossible in the usual state of consciousness for him. Over the years of evolution, people used trance states for survival, gaining knowledge, pleasure. At the end of the 20th century, people are enjoyed through extreme states, engaged in dangerous sports, enter the state of the trance, consuming alcohol and drugs.

Activated consciousness to mystical experiences achieved in the training of expanded consciousness, full of psycho and existential discoveries. Often, with the help of immersion in the process of coherent respiration, a person gets rid of psychosomatic diseases, ceases to be aggressive, begins to feel harmony with people and nature. Passing the stages of integration, the personality of a person becomes a holistic.

Methods of transpersonal psychotherapy exemption from destructive dependencies is much easier and faster, thanks to sacred experiences and legitimate exit outside the ego.

Based on this, it is safe to argue that currently the methods of transpersonal psychotherapy are precisely effective method Work with such relevant issues as narcotic and alcohol addiction.

And it is obvious that considering the diversity and the uniqueness of this direction in psychology, the requirements for the transpersonal therapist should be concluded more stringent than to representatives of other schools of psychotherapy. Transpersonal therapists that help other people in personal and spiritual growth will definitely have to first be improved in the future, develop professionally, personally, spiritually.

S.Grof, I.Zingerman, Karelsky

Transpersonal psychology is one of the modern areas of psychology is of great interest to modern man. Respiratory techniques Used by humanity for a long time, but were often considered only from the positions of mysticism and esoteric. Improvements The experience of various cultures of the use of respiration for achieving the states of consciousness, Stanislav Grof has developed respiratory trance technology - Holotropic breathing. Stanislav Grof One of the first began to consider respiratory techniques and holotropic breathing in particular from the standpoint of modern science. They held thousands of studies of human consciousness. However, the foundations of transpersonal psychology were laid by K. G. Jung and Roberto Assaji.

Transpersonal psychotherapy allows you to turn to the depth layers of the psyche and work with long forgotten traumatic events. Transpersonal techniques exempt the powerful energy accumulated in the psychological protectors that protect a person from accessing traumatic experiences, and this energy is used for healing, awareness and solutions to current in this moment Tasks. Introduction to the modified status of the plant is used as a handle to mobilize internal healing eneptic. During this work, the inconvenient Individual knocks out exactly the crossing, which is the most significant at this point for the person, and can bring it to the Snow. Na transpersonal seats people reveals and metaphorically, dissociated, without re-traumatization, peelings, conflicts, and applied, displaced and served as the pyatological state, is released from them to an account of emotional and bodily exposure. In the process of therapy, the life position of a person changes in relation to specific events, changing schemes and response in certain situations.

On the mechanism of action method, the method of clinical transpersonal psychotherapy allows you to turn to the deep layers of the psyche and work with long forgotten traumatic events. Transpersonal techniques exempt the powerful energy accumulated in the psychological protectors that protect a person from accessing traumatic experiences, and this energy is used for healing, awareness and solutions to the currently relevant tasks.

Indications for transparency psychotherapy V post-stress (the consequences of violence, psychological injuries associated with participation in hostilities, catastrophes) and crisis conditions (age and existential crises), alarms, including panic attacks. The peculiarity of the state of patients is that they do not associate these manifestations with a true cause that caused them. Transpersonal therapy helps to recycle and dispose of traumatic experience, while the energy spent on the displacement of the traumatic situation from consciousness (on the formation of psychological protection), due to which the symptoms of asthenia, the level of anxiety is reduced, the sleep is normalized, the overall tension disappears and the transformation of negative experience is disappeared. In positive. Next form new behavioral strategies. A man begins to see in his life meaning, he appears a promising future.

V Neurotic reactions, neurosis (especially chronically leaking, therapeutically to various types medicinal treatment, with allergic or paradoxical reactions to medicines, under the conditions of a subjectively small-deprived conflict situation). As a rule, such patients are configured very skeptical to any therapy and any verbal techniques only enhance their resistance. Different experiences in the transparsonal therapy process make it possible to look at their vital situations as it were, to gain access to previously blocked resources and avoid plenty of protection that such patients are easily built when working in other methods. v Various forms of premises of the prexichotic level.

v Psychosomatic diseases: bronchial asthma, hypertensive disease, initial stages of diabetes; Some types of skin diseases (eczema, neurodermatitis, psoriasis), individual diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (dyskinesia of the biliary tract, gastritis). The use of transpersonal therapy in psychosomatic pathology is based on the principle that the psycho-emotional factor is also played by the development and course of these diseases and the reasons that led to this form of response in deep childhood. v Secondary infertility, mastopathy, misa. v Psychological rehabilitation in the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, toxicomicia (in complex therapy with drug treatment) - identification of the reasons for the use of psychoactive substances, the formation of new behavior, withdrawal of psychological dependence.

Contraindications for transpersonal psychotherapy V Cardiovascular diseases; v recent physical injuries; V glaucoma, retinal detachment; v Heavy form of bronchial or cardiac asthma; . v pregnancy (absolute contraindication); v epilepsy; . v Mental diseases (schizophrenia, maniacalnepressive psychosis).

Stages of transpersonal psychotherapy V stage 1. Preliminary. At this stage, the difficulty is that in its majority patients are fixed on a formally presented complaint and poorly understand its relationship with its psychological state. It is necessary to explain the patient the relationship between its illness and psychological problems of the individual. The patient should realize that without solving the intraperial problems causing drugs, it is impossible to recovery. Thus, the main task of the 1st stage is to prepare the patient to psychotherapeutic work, the awareness of the need for such work, the formation of motivation to treat the discussion with the patient of transpersonal phenomena and their significance in the life of a particular person in order to depreciate its problems, reducing the sharpness of relevant experiences, Achievement of another way to understand the situation by switching the focus of the patient's attention to higher, spiritual categories.

V Stage 2. Individual transpersonal psychotherapy. The use of various technical techniques that ensure the occurrence of modified states of consciousness, in order to experience specific, according to Grofa, "transpersonal phenomena". The changed states of consciousness in the practice of transpersonal psychotherapy can be achieved with the help of special respiratory techniques, various methods of meditation, visualization of abstract concepts. This stage is the main one, since it is he who creates the conditions for the experience of transpersonal experience and the implementation of the recreational potential of transpersonal phenomena.

v The main task of the 3rd phase of psychotherapeutic work is the adaptation of the patient to new conditions, awareness of problems based on transpersonal experience gained in the first 2 stages and the choice of new behavioral patterns. This stage of transpersonal psychotherapy is implemented in the process of communicating with a psychotherapist and a psychologist, less often in the interactions of a group of patients.

As a practice, the holotropic breathing of the V Hollro inhibit flow can be used (xD) - the transparsonal psychotherapy method, which consists in hyperventilation of the lungs at the expense of rapid respiration. As a result, it is washed out with 2 of the blood, the brain vessels are narrowed, the braking cortex begins, and the subcortical is activated, which causes the experiences displaced from the consciousness [

v Method combining such elements such as accelerated breathing, ethnic, ritual and transient music, as well as certain forms of working with the body, generates a whole range of experiences that were observed during other types of deep self-examination. v The supporters of the method claim that the experiences caused by holotropic breathing have a healing and transformative effect. They also declare that many holotropic sessions were removed on the surface heavy emotions and unpleasant physical sensations of a wide variety of types, and the complete manifestation of these emotions and sensations makes it possible to free the person from their disturbing influence

Cartography of the psyche of man V involves the creation of a new image. In addition to the traditional presentation of psychoanalysis about the unconscious part of the psyche and the biographical memories there, there is a hypothesis about the existence of even deeper regions of the unconscious. In particular, the perinatal region of the psyche is distinguished, in which the experiences and images of death and birth and birth, and the transpersonal sphere, correlated with a wide range of experiences, traditionally considered as religious, spiritual, occult and mystical ones are distinguished. The logic of the organization (architectonics) of the mental implies the puff content of unconscious areas separated by sensory barriers, impeding access to deeper areas. The activation of sensory channels is explained by the fact that the methods that open access to the unconscious, first of all, increase the activities of the sensory authorities. As a result, the sensual authorities also activate the unconscious. The touch barrier manifests itself in nonspecific sensory experiences, for example, a person sees the main colors and geometric patterns, hears various ringing sounds, he has tactile sensations in various parts of the body, it feels the smell and taste.

v All these experiences are abstract, do not have a symbolic meaning and insignificant. Sensory barriers separate the usual consciousness from the biographical level of the unconscious and share the perinatal region and the deeper and hard-to-reach transpersonal sphere of the unconscious. The perinatal region of the unconscious is located beyond the area of the individual unconscious. Individual unconsciously condensed individual psychological injuries, unfinished gestalts, here is the biography of a person. The nature of the processes occurring at this relatively shallow level of the unconscious sphere is similar to those phenomena that describes Freud and its other followers, but as a result of practical work, differences are revealed. In particular, the biographical material may not only be reproduced in memory and reconstructed, but also overwhelming.

v Most approach are dynamically related to the birth process, which means they are produced in a deeper sphere - in the perinatal region of the unconscious. During the sessions of Golotropic therapy, when moving into the perinatal region, the unconscious, the intensity of the experiences is enhanced so much that it is perceived by the session participants as the process of dying. The pain can be unbearable so much that a person feels as if the borders of the individual suffering and the pain of the whole group, of all mankind and even the whole living. The experiences of this level are usually accompanied by bright physiological manifestations, such as suffocation, rapid pulse and heartbeat, nausea and vomiting, change in the color of the skin, fluctuations in body temperature, spontaneous appearance of bruises, trembling and cramps, etc. This condition is considered as a collision with death. It is emphasized that with conventional analytical work in the field of biographical levels of unconscious, such experiences are possible only in cases where a person ever was on the verge of life and death (state clinical death, serious operations, fatal hazard situations). For all other experience in colliding with death is possible only under conditions of malcotropic therapy. In the future, there is a change in the state, and the experience already characterize the birth process. This stage of perinatal experiences is defined as the process of fighting death and revival. It is very important because the generic injury is even more than events in the biography, responsible for the formation of problems, and its study in the context of Golotropic therapy creates prerequisites for more complete cure than the analytical study of postnatal conflicts. After all, it is in the perinatal region that approach, which condense the corresponding biographical material on themselves. Estimation of death and revival are very complex and diverse. Such experience is manifested in four typical patterns, or constellations, experiences corresponding to the stages of biological birth.

The techniques most commonly used in transpersonal psychotherapy

1. Body-oriented techniques: Lowen bioenergy therapy, sensual awareness, dance therapy, various exercises from yoga, Tai-dzi-Quan, oriental martial arts. Such techniques make it possible to establish the relationship between the body and the soul, to establish a mechanism for self-describing physical diseases through awareness, exemption from corporal blocks and the subsequent transformation of the problem.

2. Respiratory techniques that cause a changed state of consciousness - a rebellion (rigrupping), Golotropic (holotropic) breathing, Vaewishn, ensure the emergence of emotional catharsis and transpersonal experiences.

3. Gestalt-dialogue techniques, directed imagination: the creative visualization of Shakti Gavain, work techniques developed by S. Laberghem, a creative approach to dream analysis described by S. Krippner, and others are used to exemplate from emotional blocks.

4. Meditation technique. Having learned in the process of transpersonal therapy with new patterns of attitude towards himself and the surrounding through awareness, that is, learning in different ways to comprehend experiences, a person develops consciousness. In the process of reflection, a cognitive rethinking occurs that allows you to transform a variety of problems, displaced information and learn more integral and free existence.

One of the features of transpersonal therapy is that, choosing technicians for work, psychotherapist takes into account personal and universal (transpersonal features).

Indications To the appointment of transpersonal psychotherapy can be:

1. Stress (the consequences of violence, psychological injuries associated with participation in hostilities, catastrophes) and crisis conditions (age and existential crises), alarm states, including panic attacks.

2. Neurotic disorders. In this case, therapy is aimed at giving patients with the opportunity to see as it were from the outside and their life situation, access previously blocked resources and avoid resistance.

3. Depressive disorders of an unexicotic level.

4. Psychosomatic diseases (with a mandatory verification of true somatic status, see "Contraindications" on p. 352). The use of transparsonal therapy in psychosomatic pathology is based on the principle that the psycho-emotional factor is played by the development of these diseases, and the reasons that led to this form of response are played in deep childhood.

5. Secondary infertility, mastopathy, misa, in the development of which the psychotrauming situation plays a role.

6. Psychological rehabilitation in the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, toxicizing (in complex therapy with drug treatment) in order to identify the reasons for the use of psychoactive substances, the formation of new behavior, relieving psychological dependence.

Due to the use of modified consistency in transpersonal psychotherapy, there are also a number of contraindications that significantly limit the scope of this direction of psychotherapy. The second zone of restrictions is associated with immersion techniques into amended consciousness. For example, intense respiratory exercises at the biological level cause hyperoxygenation, which is associated with the formation of brain edema, which is clinically manifested in the form of a state of changed consciousness. In people with normal physical health, this edema is reversible, but in the presence of organically altered soils there may be complications.

Also as contraindications are considered states that are not compatible with strong emotional and physical stress arising from immersion in dramatic experiences.

So, we list the main contraindications:

1. Cardiovascular diseases - heart failure, myocardial infarction, post-infarction or post-patron (less than 1 year), coronary heart disease (unstable angina, root angina), arterial hypertension (2-b, 3 stages), pronounced atherosclerosis of brain vessels .

2. Recent physical injuries (fractures, dislocation, strong bruises, bleeding), recent surgical operations with the imposition of seams, congenital fragility of bones. During sessions, people move intensively, sometimes with a large amplitude. And, therefore, special caution is required in relation to those that suffer from the usual dislocation of the shoulder or knee or the pathological fragility of the bones, since the intensive movement can cause damage or cause complications.

3. Glaucoma, retinal detachment (absolute contraindication).

4. Acute infectious diseases.

5. Heavy form of bronchial or cardiac asthma (hormone-dependent when organic obstruction of bronchi).

6. Early postoperative period.

7. Pregnancy (absolute contraindication). The placenta is the part of the body, which as a result of hyperventilation is subjected to vasoconstrictions. The consequence of this is the deterioration of blood supply to the fetus. In addition, women on transpersonal therapy sessions can re-live their own birth (experience the experiences of their mother) or the birth of the previous child, etc., which can be accompanied by a reduction in the uterus. It can cause bleeding and lead to miscarriage.

8. Epilepsy.

9. Endogenous mental illness (absolute contraindication). Transpersonal psychotherapy can serve as a trigger to exacerbate the state for the occurrence of psychosis, even when the patient is in a state of remission. Transpersonal psychotherapy is also incompatible with the treatment of neuroleptics, antidepressants and tranquilizers overwhelming emotions.

10. Hysterical psychopathy (absolute contraindication).

11. Children's age.

Of all the listed techniques of transpersonal psychotherapy, the most often for the invocation of the changed consciousness is used by Golotropic breathing.

Golutropic approach Psychotherapy is an important and effective alternative to traditional approaches of deep psychology based on the verbal exchange between the therapist and the patient. The term "Golotropny" means "aimed at restoring integrity" or "movement in the direction of integrity" (from the Greek words holos. - whole I. trepein. - "moving towards ...").

The dynamic structure of psychogenic symptoms contains exclusively powerful emotional and physical energies. Therefore, any attempt to seriously affect them is extremely problematic. A therapeutic context is required, providing and enhancing direct experience in order to obtain noticeable results within a relatively short time. In addition, bearing in mind the multi-level character of psychogenic symptoms, the conceptual framework of the doctor should include biographical, perinatal (history and year-old) and transpersonal (super-sized experience, which includes human experiences: the history of ancestors, phylogenetic experience of world culture; experiencing identification experience with plants , animals, with other personalities, with various forms of consciousness - from identifying with individual bodies to planetary consciousness; archetypal experiences and awareness of sacred knowledge) levels of psyche, without which therapeutic work cannot be effective. In cases where problems are rooted in a transpersonal sphere, the final result cannot be obtained until the person agrees to the specific experiences of transpersonal experience.

Golotropic therapy contributes to the activation of unconscious to such an extent that this leads to the unusual states of consciousness. You can support the idea for the first time by Karl Gustav Yung, that the psyche has the powerful potential of self-treatment, and the source of autonomous healing forces is the collective unconscious. Hence the task of the doctor comes down to help get to the depths of the psyche, not engaged in rational consideration of problems using any specific methods for changing the human mental situation on a predetermined plan. Healing turns out to result in the dialectical interaction of consciousness with individual and collective unconscious.

In such conditions, the available symptoms are enhanced and from the latent state is moving to the manifested, becoming accessible to consciousness. The task of the doctor is to promote such a spontaneous manifestation, completely trusting this autonomous healing process. Symptoms are blocked energy and extremely concentrated experience. And here the symptom is not only a problem, but also an opportunity equally.

It is very important that the therapist contributes to the disclosure (development) of this process, even if he does not understand it at some point. Some experiences may and have no specific content; They may be intensely manifested emotions or physical stresses that change in deep relief and relaxation. Quite often, insight and specific content occur later or even on subsequent sessions. In some cases, the resolution (result) is manifested in the biographical level, in others - in perinatal material or in the topics of transpersonal experiences. Sometimes the dramatically flowing healing process and the transformation of the personality, accompanied by the results stretched in time, are associated with experience that cannot be rational understanding.

The procedure for Golotropic therapy itself includes: controlled breathing, motivating music and various forms of use of sound, as well as focused working with the body.

Deep changes in consciousness can be caused by a change in respiratory frequency - hyperventilation and, on the contrary, a slowdown, as well as a combination of these techniques. With a generally accepted physiological point of view, hyperventilation leads to excessive excretion from the body of carbon dioxide, the development of hinders with a decrease in the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the alveolar air and oxygen in arterial blood, as well as to respiratory alkalosis. Some researchers traced a hyperventive chain of geometasis changes even further, up to biochemical processes in the brain. It turned out that the changes here very much resemble those that arise under the influence of psychedelic. And this means that intensive breathing may be a non-specific catalyst for deep mental processes. Numerous experiments S. Grofa revealed that in the pneumocatarsis there is no specific breathing technique, but the very fact that breathing has been performed for 30-90 minutes in a faster pace and more deeply than usual. In many examples, it is possible to confirm the rightness of Wilhelm Raiha's right to the fact that psychological resistance and protection use respiratory limit mechanisms. Respiracy is an autonomous function, but it is possible to have a volitional effect, the increase in the rhythm of breathing and the strengthening of its effectiveness contributes to the release and manifestation of the material of the unconscious (and supercisable).

Prolonged hyperventilation not only causes a progressive increase in the voltage, but leads to critical climax, replacing deep relaxation. The nature of this sequence is comparable to orgasm. In addition to this, in repeated Golotropic sessions, the total number of muscular stresses and dramatic emotions is usually reduced. Everything that occurs in this process can be interpreted as the desire of the body to respond to a change in the biochemical situation by means of various outdoor, deeply related stresses and exemption from them by peripheral discharge. This usually occurs in two ways.

The first of them has the form of catharsis and reacting, which includes tremor, twitching, dramatic television, passing, breathing interceptions, vomit, crushing, and other sound manifestations or strengthening the activity of the autonomous nervous system.

The second mechanism is that deep voltages are manifested in the form of long-term reductions and delayed spasms.

Supporting such muscular stress for a long time, the body crashes a huge amount of accumulated energy and, freeing from it, facilitates its functioning.

The typical result of a Golotropic session is deep emotional liberation (unloading) and physical relaxation. Thus, prolonged hyperventilation is an exceptionally powerful and effective means of removing stress, contributing to emotional and psychosomatic recovery. Spontaneous cases of hyperventilation in people suffering from mental illness can, therefore, consider how an attempt of self-treatment. A similar understanding is found in the literature describing the technique of spiritual development, for example Kundalini yoga, where the manifestations of this kind are called "Kriya".

Emotional manifestations during sessions have a wide range; The most typical of them is anger and aggression, anxiety, sadness and depression, feeling of failure, humiliation, guilt and insignificance. Physical manifestations include inside the muscular voltage also headaches and pain in various parts of the body, intercepting respiration, nausea, vomiting, suffocation, increased salivation, sweating, sexual sensations and diversity of motor movements.

In certain parts of the body during the respiratory session, physical stresses are developing. Not being simple physiological reactions to hyperventilation, they are complex psychosomatic structures depending on individual characteristics, and have, as a rule, a specific psychological content characteristic of this person. Sometimes they are an enhanced version of the usual stresses and pains shown in the form of chronic problems or in the form of symptoms arising at the moments of emotional or physical stress, fatigue, with insomnia, weakness caused by the disease, alcohol or drug use. In other cases, they can be considered as the reactivation of old problems that have arisen in the period of infancy, childhood, pubertata or as a result of severe emotional stress.

Regardless of whether the person knows the specific events of their biography in these physical manifestations, they are still interesting to consider in terms of psychological value or content. For example, if there is a spasm in the hands and legs ("carpopaed spasm" in traditional terminology), this indicates the presence of a deep conflict between the strong desire to commit certain actions and as a strong trend of deterrence (braking) of this action. The dynamic equilibrium arising in this way is the simultaneous activation of flexing and extensive muscles of the same intensity. People experiencing such spasms usually report that throughout or at least more of her part of it, they felt depressed aggressiveness, kept the desire to pounce on the surrounding or experienced unsatisfied sexual aspirations. Sometimes painful stresses of this kind are unfulfilled creative impulses: such as, for example, drawing, dancing, singing, game musical instruments, Some craft or activities carried out by hand. This approach allows you to penetrate the essence of the conflict generating these stresses. As a rule, the process, reaching the culmination point of the voltage, is replaced by the deep relaxation and the feeling of eliminating the barrier that interfered with the free circulation of energy in the hands. Often, people who survived it, discovered various creative abilities and achieved amazing success in drawing, writing, dancing or craft.

Another important source of muscle stresses are memories of transferred in past operations or injuries. In periods, causing pain and suffering, a person have to suppress, sometimes for a long time, emotional and physical reactions to pain. And if the injury is heard only anatomically and is not integrated emotionally, it remains like an unfinished Gestalt. Therefore, physical injury is fraught with serious psychological problems, and, on the contrary, its study on therapeutic sessions can contribute to emotional and psychosomatic recovery.

The voltage of the foot muscles has the same dynamic structure, only less complicated; This reflects the fact that the role of legs in human life Easier the role of hands (brushes). Many related problems are associated with the use of legs and feet as aggression tools, especially in early periods of life. Tension and spasms in the hips and buttocks are often associated with sexual protection, fears and braking, especially in women. The archaic anatomical name of one of the thigh muscles actually sounds like "Guardian of Virginity" - musculus Custos Virginitalis.. Many muscle tension can be correlated with physical injuries.

At a deeper level, dynamic conflicts that cause the muscle stress of the limbs and many other parts of the body are associated with the "hydraulic" circumstances of biological birth. At this stage of the generic process, the child, often for many hours, is in a situation that is conjugaten with horror, anxiety, pain and choking. This causes powerful neural stimulation that does not receive peripheral exit, as the child cannot breathe, scream, move or escape from this situation. As a result, blocked energy accumulates in the body, is preserved equally in flexing and extensive muscles. If this dynamic conflict comes out to discharge (late in time), it proceeds in the form of intense and often painful spasms. Sometimes it is possible to trace the deeper reasons for stresses in the hands and legs in the sphere of transpersonal experiences, in particular, with various memories of past life. It is interesting to note that many stresses in other parts of the body are observed in those places that the tantric system calls the centers of the mental energy of the "thin body" - chakras. There is nothing surprising in this, since Golutropic therapy techniques are similar to the exercises used in a tantric tradition that gives great importance to breathing.

The directional work with the body is one of component parts Golutropic therapy and is used only when there is a need. Situations in which directional work with the body at the initial stages of Golotropic sessions are relatively few. These include cases when the main blockade is in the throat area and reaches a degree obstructive further process breathing. In such circumstances, it is necessary to carry out work by reacting methods, if the reaction intensity is spasm, physical pain or anxiety reaches such an extent that a person cannot or does not want to continue the session, such discomfort should be removed. The main indicator of the need to work with the body is the situation at the last stages of the session, when breathing and music did not lead to complete removal of symptoms.

The basic principle of operation at the final stage of the Golotropic sessions is to focus on physical discomfort associated with the emotional distress. Regardless of the nature and localization of problems, it is proposed to strengthen the symptom. For example, strain the muscles of the neck and take the position, exacerbating pain in the head and neck; If blocking is found in the pelvic region, it is necessary to lift the pelvis and strain the muscles of the abdomen and buttocks. This voltage is recommended to support as long as possible, not paying attention to other parts of the body. These manifestations can even be enhanced by the special intervention of the therapist aimed at the intensification of the symptom. This includes a massage or pressure on the area, which is tense or painful, preventing the desire to pull out, whether to deal with it, etc.

Group sessions of Golotropic therapy are more effective than individual. They seem to help create a strong energy field, acting as a catalyst for the therapeutic process. A very interesting aspect of collective work is the synchronization of a variety of events in the process of passing the respiratory session.

Deep breathing, providing access to the unconscious, first of all activates the senses. For many people, the session begins with various nonspecific sensory experiences, such as a feeling of numbness, vibrations, tingling in various parts of the body, color visualizations or geometric figures, Iron or noise in the ears, a wide variety of tactile sensations in various parts of the body, flavors and smells. These more or less abstract experiences, as a rule, do not have a deep symbolic value. Rather, they are a touch barrier that needs to be overcome.

The next area of the psyche, access to which is discovered as the process develops, is usually called the level of biographical memories and an individual unconscious.

The experiences belonging to this level are related to the significant events and the circumstances of the human life from his birth to the present. Unresolved conflicts, disheighted or non-integrated memories - all this can be paid out of the unconscious and become the content of the experience.

The biographical material appearing in the session largely complies with the views of Z. Freud or its followers. There are, however, several important differences. During the respiratory session, the biographical material is not remembered and is not reconstructed, but really experienced again, including not only emotions, but also physical, visual and other sensations.

Another important difference is that significant biographical elements appear in memories are not isolated, but form certain dynamic condenses in memory, the so-called condensed experience systems (skate).

Socy is a dynamic combination of memories (with fantasy concomitant) from various periods of human life, which are combined with a strong emotional charge of similar quality, intense physical sensations of a certain kind or common elements. ECS are common organizing principles operating at all levels of psyche.

Most biographic speed are dynamically related to certain aspects of the birth process, that is, with a personal level of psyche. The perinatal themes and their elements are specifically related to the corresponding empirical material from the transpersonal region. Usually, a certain dynamic approach covers the material of various biographical periods, biological births and all sorts of transparency areas, like memories of other embodiments, identifying with animals or mythological motives.

The relationship between biological birth and perinatal experiences deep and specific. This makes it possible to use the stages of biological genera to build a theoretical model that allows you to understand the dynamics of the perinatal level of the unconscious and even predict at this level.

Perinatal experiences are organized in typical thematic groups, basic characteristics which are empirically associated with the anatomical, physiological and biochemical aspects of certain clinical stages of birth. The model based on these stages gives a new understanding of the dynamic architecture of various forms of psychopathology and creates new opportunities for therapy. The model of the birth process is a powerful explanatory principle within the phenomena of a specific level of unconscious. The perinatal level of the unconscious is an important intermediate area between the individual and collective unconscious or between traditional psychology and mystics.

The experiences of death and rebirth, reflecting the perinatal level of unconscious, rich and complex. Events associated with different stages or aspects of biological birth, as a rule, are intelligent or associated with numerous mythological, mystical, archetypal, historical, sociopolytic, anthropological or phylogenetic transpersonal experiences. They are manifested in four empirical structures, or thickening associated with the clinical stages of the child's birth.

For the theory and practice of Golotropic therapy, it turned out to be useful to postulate the existence of four hypothetical dynamic matrices that control processes on the perinatal level of the unconscious. They are called basic perinatal matrices (BPM).

The deployment of perinatal level is often accompanied by transpersonal experiences like archetypical visions of the Great Mother or a terrible goddess - mother, paradise, purgatory, hell, identifying with animals, with experience of past incarnations.

If condensed experience systems (approx) organize an important emotional material on the biographical level, then the basic perinatal matrices (BPM) perform the same function with respect to the perinatal level experiences accumulated in the psyche.

Biological basis of BPM-1 - This is the experience of the initial symbiotic union of the fetus with the parent organism during its intrauterine existence. If any interference does not occur, such a life is close to ideal. The strongest expression of the quality of this matrix is the experience of cosmic unity, mystical unity. Thus, the elements of a serene intrauterine state may be accompanied or interpreted for which the absence of boundaries or obstacles are characterized (for example, experiments of the oceanic consciousness), or deep empirical identification with various water lifests (algae, jellyfish, fish, dolphins, etc.), staying in weightlessness in interstellar space or in space shiplying in orbit. Pictures of nature in its best manifestations of safety and abundance (nature - mother) are also characteristic and logically natural satellites of a blissful intrauterine state.

Psychological deviations in intrauterine life are associated with images and experiences of underwater hazards, contaminated flows, lakes or seas, infected or hostile nature. These images are caused by the fact that most of the intrauterine deviations are associated with the toxicity of the placenta or with insufficient nutrition. More gross violations - the danger of miscarriage or an attempt of an abortion - are experiencing as such or another form of a universal threat or bind to the bloody apocalyptic visions of the end of the world. The negative aspects of the BPM-1 are associated with a certain kind of negative approach and with the corresponding negative transpersonal elements.

Second basic perinatal matrix (BPM-2) associated with the beginning of biological birth, with its first clinical stage. The initial harmony and the equilibrium of the existence of the fetus here are violated first by chemical signals, and then mechanical cuts in the uterus. When this stage is completely unfolded, the fruit is periodically compressed by the uterine spasms. At this time, the system is still completely closed: the cervix is not disclosed, the output is not available. Specific memories of the threat, which is the beginning of childbirth for the fetus, receive its symbolic correspondence in space absorption images. The name of BPM-2 is cosmic absorption and lack of way out. The symbolic expression of a fully deployed first clinical stage of childbirth is the experience of the absence of exit or hell. This is a feeling of drawnness, inhibition, caustrophobic, nightmare, the experience of incredible spiritual and bodily torment. The logic of such experiences displays the fact that the cuts of the uterus deprive the fruit of the inflow of blood to the placenta, that is, not only a significant connection with the world and human contact, but also power supply and heat. Being under the influence of this matrix, a person ceases to perceive positive opportunities in the world and in his life. These states of consciousness are usually accompanied by painful feelings of loneliness, helplessness, hopelessness, humiliation, inadequacy, existential despair and guilt.

BPM-2 attracts the corresponding SCS, representing a person as a passive and helpless victim of superior destructive strength, not having a chance of salvation. It is also associated with transpersonal themes of similarity.

Third Basic Perinatal Matrix (BPM-3) - This is the struggle of death and revival. Many important aspects of this matrix are explained by its connection with the second clinical stage of childbirth, when the uterus continues to reduce, but, unlike the previous stage, the cervix is revealed, which allows the fetus to gradually move along the generic channel. This is a monstrous struggle for survival in which the baby is subjected to crushing mechanical pressure, lack oxygen and choking. In addition to realistic reproduction of various aspects of the struggle in the generic channel, it includes a wide range of archetypic and other transpersonal phenomena. The most important of them are the elements of the titanic struggle. Sadomazochist experiences, severe sexual excitement, demonic episodes, sniffing experiences and meeting with fire. All these aspects and the parties of BPM-3, by virtue of deep empirical logic, can be associated with different anatomical, physiological and emotional characteristics of the respective stages of childbirth.

Specific characteristics of experiences are associated with BPM-3 with the SBI, formed from the memories of bright, risky sensual and sexual experiences.

Fourth Basic Perinatal Matrix (BPM-4) - The experience of death and revival. This perinatal matrix in meaning is associated with the third clinical stage of childbirth, with the immediate birth of a child. On this, the latter, the stage of the painful process of the struggle for birth is like an end. Promotion by the generic channel reaches the climax, and the peak of pain, tension and sexual arousal follows sudden relief and relaxation. The child was born and after a long period of darkness first faces the bright light of the day (or operating room). After cutting off the umbilical bodies, bodily communications with the mother stops, and the child enters into a new existence as an anatomically independent individual.

As in other matrices, some of the experiencing relating to this stage represent an accurate imitation of real biological events that occurred at birth and special obstetric receptions.

The symbolic expression of the last stage of childbirth is the death experience - rebirth. It presents the end and resolution of death - Renaissance. Paradoxically, that, being literally on the threshold of liberation, a person feels the approach of the monstrous catastrophe. If the experiences continue, the transition from BPM-3 to BPM-4 entails a sense of complete destruction, annihilation on all conceivable levels - physical death, emotional collapse, intellectual damage, final moral and eternal curse of transcendental scales. Such an experience of the "death of the Ego" lies in the instantaneous, ruthless destruction of all the former reference points in a person's life.

The empirical experience of death and revival, as a rule, opens access to the field of the human psyche, lying outside the biography, which is best called transpare. It can be said that the perinatal level of the unconscious is an interface between biographic and transpersonal regions or between individual and collective unconscious. In most cases, transpersonal experiences are preceded by a dramatic meeting with birth and death. However, this is not strictly necessary: direct contact with transpersonal elements and themes is empirically possible without passing perinatal level. The general denominator is the transition of consciousness for the usual borders of the ego and overcoming the restrictions of time and space.

Although transpersonal experiences and arise in the process of deep individual self-exploration in Golotropic therapy, they cannot be interpreted as purely intraxichesky phenomena in the generally accepted sense of the word. On the one hand, they form a continuous empirical continuum with biographical and perinatal experiences. On the other hand, they, apparently, directly, without the help of sense organs, are connected to sources of information outside the traditional human access.

Transpersonal experiences occupy a special place in the cartography of the human psyche. The level of psychoanalytic memories and the individual unconscious is purely biographical in nature. Perinatal dynamics is like the intersection of boundaries between personal and transpersonal. This is reflected in its deep bond with birth and death - the beginning and end of individual human existence. Transpersonal phenomena detect links between individual and space, which while leaving our understanding. It can only be said that in the process of deployment of the perinatal level, there is a strange, reminiscent of the ribbon of the Mebius, the loop, in which deep self-testing turns into the empirical comprehension of the Universe as a whole, including cosmic consciousness and supercisable rationality.
