Mkzhd official scheme. A new type of urban transport: how does the MCC differ from metro and trains

It is a railway ring laid along the outskirts of Moscow. In the diagram, the small ring of the MKZD railway looks like a closed line. The construction of the ring was completed in 1908. Before 1934 Railway used for trucks and passenger traffic, and after 1934 - only for trucks. It is a connecting link between ten federal railway lines leaving the city in all directions. Since September 2016, it has also been used for passenger intracity transportation related to the operation of the Moscow Metro, which was reflected in the scheme of Moscow Ring Railway stations.

Modern reconstruction of Moscow Railway

From 2012 to 2016, the Moscow Ring Railway was adapted for domestic passenger traffic, which led to a significant change in the scheme of the Moscow Ring Railway. The work was carried out at federal funds, as well as at the expense of Russian Railways, private companies and the Moscow government. In the process of reconstruction, the railway tracks were replaced with new ones, overhaul bridges, stopping points for electric trains were built, and another track was laid for freight traffic. At the end of 2016, the work was almost completed.

In total, 31 stopping stations were reconstructed (the scheme of the Moscow Ring Road with stations under construction is presented above). Each station has its own individual project platforms were built.

Launch of the first electric trains

The first launch of an electric train in order to check the readiness of the railway was carried out in May 2016 on one of the sections of the Moscow Ring Road, and in July 2016, after construction was completed, along the entire length of the railway. The main electric train running along the route was the ES2G Lastochka. Ordinary Russian-made electric trains were also involved. With their use, there were some problems associated with the discrepancy between the width of the cars and the electric locomotive. classic models with the distance between the tracks and the platform on the Moscow Ring Road. As a result, the platform at the Streshneva station even had to be shifted a little to the side.

The first passenger electric train ran along the line on September 10, 2016, after which passenger trains began to run regularly. The movement of freight trains has been reduced, especially during the daytime, when electric trains are actively running. The line is also used for the movement of individual long-distance trains that bypass Moscow. The movement of excursion trains on locomotive traction was stopped.

Infrastructure and scheme of Moscow Ring Road

The railway ring of the Moscow Ring Road includes 2 main railway lines belonging to the category of electrified. Another third railway line runs along the north of the ring, which is used for freight traffic. total length railway ring - 54 km. Some sections of other tracks are still not electrified.

The MKZD scheme is designed in such a way that it has connecting branches that allow trains to move between the ring railway and the radial branches of the federal railways. They consist of either one or two tracks (see the MKZD transfer map). Not all of them are equipped with feeding power lines. From the freight tracks of the railway ring there are branches to industrial production facilities. There is also one branch for connection with the tram depot.

In total, there are 31 operating platforms for domestic passenger traffic and 12 freight stations on the MKZD scheme. There is 1 tunnel 900 m long.

Stations and platforms on the MKZD scheme

The stations were founded in 1908 and were originally used for freight traffic. Separate stations were located between them.

In the inner part of the railway ring there are classical stations that are not used now with station-type buildings built at the beginning of the 20th century. Previously, the railway track running along them was used for passenger transportation. Modern stations can be seen on the diagram of the Moscow Ring Road with stations under construction.

WITH outer side from the Moscow Railway, arrivals for parking of freight trains and buildings intended for railway work were built. All this is used to form freight trains.

In 2017, the total number of stations in use (see the scheme of stations of the Moscow Ring Road) amounted to 12 units. Of these, 4 are located on sections of branches from the Moscow Ring Road. These include: Novoproletarskaya, Northern Post.

There are 31 stopping points for urban electric trains on the railway ring. These stations are passenger platforms that were built between 2012 and 2016 during the modern reconstruction of the Moscow Ring Railway. Unlike stops belonging to the radial main lines of the railway, these have the status of intracity and are equipped accordingly. They work as public transport stops with the same tickets for them.

Bridges on Moscow Ring Road

In total, there are 6 active bridges, 4 of which cross the Moscow Ring Road. Also, 32 highways and railways cross the Moscow Ring Road.

Movement along the Moscow Ring Road

On the this moment traffic along the Moscow Railway is carried out at the expense of electric trains ES2G "Lastochka". It consists of 5 passenger cars a modern model, and with a coupled version - from 10 wagons. In the future, the use of other locomotives (domestic production) is not excluded.

Diesel locomotives are still mainly used for freight transportation. However, the main railway lines are now electrified and allow the use of electric locomotives for transit traffic. Thanks to this, it is possible to move passenger and freight trains from one transit radial line of railways to another.

The Moscow Central Circle (MCC) will open for passengers in early September. Approximately September 10th. This was stated by the head of the "Moscow Metro" Dmitry Pegov.

The MCC line received number 14 in the Moscow Metro. The ring consists of 31 stations, 17 of them are connected with the metro, 10 - with the radial lines of the railway. Transfers between metro stations and the MCC will take no more than 10-12 minutes. The shortest and most comfortable transfers will be in "warm" (not requiring access to the street) crossings from the stations: International, Leninsky Prospekt, Cherkizovskaya, Vladykino, Kutuzovskaya.

The main advantage of the Moscow central ring- it should unload the "Koltsevaya" line by 15%, "Sokolnicheskaya" - by 20% and all stations.

Navigation is hosted;

Compositions work out intervals of movement;

Information boards are installed on the platforms;

Create comfortable ground transport routes connecting with the stations of the new subway line.

INTERESTING TO KNOW

75 million passengers will be able to use transportation in the first year, and by 2025 the number will increase to 350 million passengers annually;

The metro staff will increase by 800 people.

Application about workload in online mode

To implement this project, you need to prepare the infrastructure to show it. But we have plans for it. It will be a similar project as "Yandex. Traffic jams". The Moscow Metro is dealing with the issue of providing Yandex with traffic data. As soon as we can receive them, we will send them to Yandex, and they will be displayed in the application online, - said the head of the metro Dmitry Pegov.

Already on September 10, the first stage of the Moscow Central Ring will take place. The network edition of the site answered the most important questions about a new form of urban transport.

What it is?

The Moscow Central Ring is a uniting metro and radial directions of suburban railways. Previously, it was called the Moscow Ring of the Railway. The MCC passes near the Third Transport Ring in the southeast and west of the city and in the middle between the Third Ring Road and the Moscow Ring Road in the north of the capital.

The main task of the road is to make the path from one point remote from the city center to another shorter. According to experts, the launch of the railway should reduce travel time by an average of 20 minutes, unload the Circle Line of the subway by 15 percent, and the central stations of the city by 20 percent.

How many stations will open at the MCC?

The ring includes 31 stations, each of which provides transfers to other types of public transport. 17 stations will be connected to 11 metro lines, 10 to radial railway lines.

At the first stage, 26 stations will be available to passengers, the press service of the Moscow Construction Complex reports, citing the Deputy Mayor for urban policy Marat Khusnullin. The rest will begin work before the end of the year.

Until 2018, the connection of MCC stations with metro stations, radial railway lines and surface urban transport will gradually improve.

Where can I transfer from the MCC?

In total, with the launch of the MCC, Muscovites and guests of the capital can make more than 350 transfers, and travel time when moving around the capital will be reduced by three times.

Passengers will be able to change freely when traveling on the following routes: Metro - MCC - Metro; Metro - MCC; MCC - Metro - Monorail; Monorail - Metro - MCC - Metro.

There are also transfers from trains to buses, trolleybuses and trams. The ground transport schedule will be adjusted to the MCC schedule.

Intervals of ground transport routes, serving the ring, since September 8 are about 10 minutes. In the future, they are planned to be reduced to 6–8 minutes, so that passengers can transfer from the MCC to ground transport almost immediately.

Territory maps have been updated for more than four thousand ground transport stops, and 15 stops now have stations of the new ring.

It will also be possible to get to the new railway line by private transport: special parking lots will be equipped at 13 stops.

How to navigate the MCC?

In total, several variants of the MCC scheme have been prepared. On one of them, it is marked on the map of the city with the designation of suburban railway lines, as well as metro lines, including the Third Interchange Circuit under construction.

On the second, the MCC scheme is inscribed in the currently used metro map and is indicated there as the 14th metro line. In total, 50 thousand new schemes will be pasted in the subway. The updated maps will also show information on how long it will take to transfer from the metro station to the MCC station.

The stations themselves are equipped with navigation panels in Russian and English. Braille will be installed for visually impaired passengers. Also at each station there will be a board with the time of arrival of the train. Several of them will be equipped with "Live communication" racks.

Where can I find detailed information about the MCC?

A section dedicated to the Moscow Central Circle has appeared on the official website of the Moscow Metro.

On the new page published information about the history of the creation of the MCC and the modern Lastochka trains running around the ring. Also, site visitors can get acquainted with the scheme of transfers from the metro to the MCC and choose convenient routes.

See you;)

While we were riding around the Caucasus, Transcaucasia and Iran, a miracle happened in Moscow - traffic and all stations of the Moscow Central Ring (MCC) were opened. Yesterday we drove a full circle on a new mode of transport and are shocked to the core. Read under the cut why the MCC is a real miracle.

We decided to start the inspection of a new type of transport from the station closest to us - Baltiyskaya, which can be reached by walking down the street from the Voykovskaya metro station.

We left the subway, crossed the road following the signs and got a little lost.

Looking back, are we sure we're going where we need to go? In Moscow, as a rule, pronounced flows of people move towards the stations, but here, it seems, people are in a hurry to shop at Metropolis :) As you like Christmas tree at the mall?

It's good that Pasha knows where the railway passes. We go straight without signs. By the way, later it turns out that the main path lies through the shopping center.

We reached the footbridge across the road. To get to the bridge, you need to enter the shopping center through one of the entrances, where a sign meets us.

It's not a way out shopping center, this is the most popular entrance to the bridge leading to the MCC station. There is another one, but it is located inconspicuously and almost no one walks through it. We do not know how it was possible to lobby for this, but the shopping center traffic should now increase significantly.

It's nice to walk on a new clean transition.

We pass through the turnstiles to the station, bringing the Troika card, which was used in the metro, to the reader. Our trip counts as a transfer, and the trip to the MCC will be free.

The Moscow railway ring has existed since the 19th century, and until the 30s of the 20th century it was used not only for freight, but also for passenger traffic. But then the metro appeared, and the project was abandoned. In those years, the word "metro" was still masculine.

See the photo, a girl with bare legs at minus 10. Where are the parents looking? Previously, they only took off their hats when they left the house, and now they also turn up their pants.

While Pasha was looking at the diagram in the center of the station, a woman came up and tried to figure out how far one of the MCC stations in the south was from the metro station.

The long-awaited Lastochka is a Siemens train, created by the Germans on the order of Russian Railways and adapted to the requirements of our roads. The Russians have been riding the Lastochka in Sochi for a long time, in Nizhny Novgorod and since last year in Tver.

According to our observations, quite a lot of people use the MCC even in the middle of a weekday.

It's great that we managed to purchase such modern trains for urban public transport. The train is warm, light, Wi-Fi works, it is clean and comfortable to sit in, and there is even a toilet in the first and last cars. Well, why not a miracle!

Lastochka is a class of urban transport comfort that has never been seen before in Russia. The car has excellent sound insulation, which adds to the "luxury". The train is not moving, but flying!

We pass mostly industrial zones.

And this station is named after the street of the same name in the west of Moscow.

The display shows not only the time and temperature, but also the speed. In some areas, the Swallow accelerates to 100 km / h. We choose the MCC, and you stay in :)

There is even such a shelf. What would it be used for? :)

We pass Moscow City and the Moscow River. Correct endings? :)

The design of the stations is mostly standard, all have a scoreboard and a roof from the rain. Of the minuses: you have to wait for the train on the street, and the traffic interval varies from about ten minutes in the early morning, afternoon and late evening to three minutes at peak hours. Ten minutes in the cold is not for everyone.

Metro map at the station from Lebedev Studio.

Approximately half of the MCC stations have ground crossings to the nearest metro or railway stations. At the Baltiyskaya, where we boarded, the transfer took about ten minutes. The transition from the Luzhniki station to the Sportivnaya metro station will take only a couple of minutes, here the passengers are lucky.

In the distance, the towers of the Business Center are visible in the haze. There is also a ring station there.

The train has arrived, let's move on. The first and last cars are equipped with places for transporting bicycles. We have already figured out how we will go for a ride in Moscow parks in the summer: Izmailovsky Park and Sokolniki are in pleasant proximity to the MCC stations.

In the area of the ZIL plant, a grandiose demolition of houses and the construction of new real estate is taking place.

It is very unusual to see a toilet in public transport in Moscow.

Inside the toilet is not the first freshness, but so far tolerable. We hope that trains and stations will be constantly looked after, otherwise all this will very quickly get dirty in the literal and figurative sense.

Toilet selfie from Lena. Our first report from Zlatoglavaya, by the way. We think what else to take pictures in Moscow, write your recommendations.

We arrived at the Izmailovo station, decided to take a break and take a walk into the city. We leave the doors of the ring station.

Tickets can be bought from vending machines, like in the subway.

We get into the station building, where there will soon be a shopping center.

Now the shops are closed, and this can go on for quite some time. Russian Railways has a talent for long-term construction; at the Leningradsky railway station, the installation of new pavilions takes years.

The width of the escalator is such that only one person will fit in the width, you can’t run quickly on the left.

Entrance to the transition.

Russian realities: the handlers designed the passage in such a way that it would not be possible to open the outer door.

It is cold in the passage, but it is clear that it is too expensive to heat the street.

Near the building of the hotel "Izmailovo" and the Izmailovsky Kremlin.

We leave the passage, go straight, and there is some homeless shopping center and they sell sausages in dough. Moscow, you are infinitely diverse :)

As an epilogue:

Never in our memory has a new mode of transport been opened in Moscow (monorail does not count). Probably, it will never open again, such miracles do not happen so often.

We ourselves tried to come up with useful routes around Moscow for the MCC, but apart from transporting bikes to forest parks, we couldn’t think of anything, all our routes will remain on the metro, minibuses and electric trains. We hope that Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to adapt this type of transport to their needs, and this will at least slightly relieve the Moscow metro and commuter trains.

What do you think of MCC?

Within 90 minutes from the moment of ticket validation, the transition from the metro to the MCC and back is free. It is also possible to pay for travel by credit cards.

MCC schemes

Three variants of MCC schemes have been developed for passengers. The first one, in addition to metro lines and MCC stations, indicates the stages of opening stations and crossings, the distance between transfer stations and the time it takes to transfer.

The second version of the scheme will help passengers of electric trains orient themselves: the map shows railway stations, existing metro lines, as well as MCC stations and "warm" transfers to the metro.

The third scheme shows the stops of urban ground transport near the MCC stations, as well as the interval of its movement during rush hour. For example, from the Luzhniki platform of the Moscow Central Circle, you can go to the Sportivnaya metro station in 2 minutes. Buses 806, 64, 132 and 255 run regularly there, so getting to the right place is not difficult.

In addition, the map shows all the main attractions of the city, forest parks and nature reserves. Many of them are within walking distance of the MCC, for example, the Losiny Ostrov park and the Vorobyovy Gory nature reserve.

Transplants

The MCC is integrated into the Moscow public transport system with the possibility of transferring to the metro, Moscow Railway trains and surface public transport.

From September 10, you can transfer from the MCC to the metro at 11 stations (Business Center, Kutuzovskaya, Luzhniki, Lokomotiv, Gagarin Square, Vladykino, Botanical Garden, Rokossovsky Boulevard, " Voykovskaya", "Highway Enthusiasts", "Avtozavodskaya"), by train - by five ("Rostokino", "Andronovka", "Okruzhnaya", "Business Center", "Likhobory").

By the end of 2016, the number of transfer hubs will increase to 14 and 6, respectively, and in 2018 there will be 17 transfers from the MCC to the metro and 10 to the train.

To make a metro-MTC-metro transfer free of charge (within 90 minutes), you need to attach a metro ticket to the turnstile with a special yellow sticker at the entrance to the MCC station.

Passengers who plan to travel only along the MCC or are going to make one metro-MTC transfer or vice versa can apply tickets to any turnstiles, including those without yellow stickers.

If you missed 1.5 hours, you must pay the fare again when transferring.

Trains and intervals

New luxury trains Lastochka with a capacity of 1,200 people run at the MCC. Their maximum speed is 160 kilometers per hour, they go along the MCC from average speed 50 kilometers per hour.

The trains are equipped with air conditioning, dry closets, information panels, free Wi-Fi, sockets and bike racks.

The carriages open at manual mode: to enter or exit, you need to press a special button installed on the doors. The buttons are active (green illumination) only after the train has stopped on the platform, at other times the doors are locked for safety reasons.

In the morning and evening peak hours, the traffic interval is only 6 minutes. The rest of the time, "Swallow" you need to wait from 10 to 15 minutes.

Renewal (activation) of travel cards

In order to get to the MCC with 90 minutes, Unified for 20, 40 and 60 trips, Troika, purchased or replenished before September 1, 2016, you need to renew them. To do this, you can contact the ticket office of the metro or monorail, as well as the passenger agency of the metro (Boyarsky per., d. 6) or service center"Moscow transport" (st. Staraya Basmannaya, 20, building 1).

Holders of the Strelka card for traveling by train must exchange it at the metro ticket office for a card with the Troika application.

Activation is carried out without changing the balance of trips and the validity of the ticket, while the new reprogrammed travel documents will allow free transfers from the metro to the MCC and back.

Also, the Troika electronic card can be updated independently by topping up the balance at ticket machines at stations, on the troika.mos.ru website, via SMS or at payment terminals. As for social cards, their activation is not required.
