1. We took a sheet of A4 paper, measured 13.5 cm from its long side on one side (slightly more than the length of the plastic part of the rod), measured 12.3 cm on the other side (1.2 cm less to make the lower part of the handle in the shape of a cone). We connected these marks with a line and cut the sheet along it (see Fig.).
