Training and Consulting in oriental medicine, dietetics, gymnastics. Qigong System: Exercise and Meditation

Whole Body Healing Meditation aims to address the psychosomatic causes of various diseases. Catching up meditation practices regularly, you will find a way to harmonize body and mind. Let's talk about the technique of meditation in detail.

In order for meditations to be effective, certain rules must be followed. Follow them and get the desired result.

  1. Exercise daily. For the prevention of diseases, one meditation a day is enough, and with serious problems health needs from two to four daily sessions
  2. Try to disable " internal dialogue". This means that during a meditation session, you must completely free your consciousness from extraneous thoughts, relax your body and concentrate only on internal sensations.
  3. To get away from thoughts, concentrate on breathing. Try to feel each inhalation and exhalation, watch how the air fills your body
  4. The room must be ventilated before the meditation session in order to fill the space with a stream of fresh air.
  5. Meditate in the most comfortable position in which you can feel comfortable being in a stationary position for a long time
  6. Choose calm and soothing music. Melodic sounds help you relax and concentrate

And, of course, do not forget to follow the prescriptions of your doctors. Meditation will help increase the effectiveness of treatment, but it is not the only cure for all diseases.

Step-by-step meditation technique for healing and improving the body

After you have prepared for the session, you can start meditating.

What do we have to do:

  • Sit back and close your eyes. It is very important to keep your back straight.
  • Inhale deeply through your nose and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Breathe in this rhythm until you feel that your body is completely relaxed.
  • Pay attention to the chest area with your mind's eye. Place your hand on your heart and watch the sensations that arise in your body as you breathe
  • Then start repeating the words: “there” on each inhalation and “from there” on the exhale. Repeat 108 times. Concentration is very important in this case, you should not be distracted by extraneous thoughts
  • If you cannot remove thoughts from the subconscious, start repeating: "these are just thoughts, and they will go away now." Return to breathing concentration immediately afterwards.

Continue until you feel that it is time to stop meditating. The session usually takes from ten minutes to half an hour. At the end, take a deep final breath through your mouth, slowly open your eyes and smile. You can return to everyday life.

How Whole Body Healing Meditation Works

Anyone who has been involved in spiritual practices for a long time can clearly see the difference between healing and healing. In the first case, you simply eliminate the symptoms with medication and medical procedures. But even if you recover, sooner or later the illness will again make itself felt.

For complete healing, deep work is needed precisely with the causes of diseases. In psychosomatics, there is a clear list of negative emotions that make you feel bad.

How does this happen:

  • For example, you have experienced some kind of strong negative feeling. Resentment, anger, irritation. If this happened once, that's okay. Emotions in this case will insignificantly affect, but they will not have any effect on the physical
  • But when your emotions become frequent, deep, become a habit, the disease goes from the subtle body to the physical and you get sick.

This is why it is so important to work with emotions, negative attitudes and beliefs. The purpose of meditation is to relieve you of this burden and prevent disease. And if you already feel bad, stop the progress of the disease, start its healing on a deeper level.

It will not work if you are used to relying only on physical actions, phenomena and events. For healing, you must believe in the existence of the aura, the subtle body, in the power of your own subconsciousness.

Your thoughts and beliefs are always reflected in the surrounding reality, so working with them is so necessary for every person. If you can achieve harmony between body and soul, you will forget about feeling unwell forever.

What other techniques can you use?

As we have already found out, the cause of any illness lies in negative emotions and feelings. You can start practicing with techniques aimed at removing negativity and cleansing the soul of limiting beliefs.

For example:

  • Hooponopono meditation. A very simple but really effective Hawaiian method that is based on repeating just four phrases. Cleans the soul of negativity and increases the energy vibrations of your aura
  • ... They help to enter the alpha state and learn to visualize the image of the desired. In our case, imagine yourself to be completely healthy.
  • Dynamic Osho meditation... Highly non-standard way: you do not just sit with your eyes closed and relax, but on the contrary, you give an active outlet to the negative. During the session, you will have to cry, sing, shout, dance, shouting mantras. Works best in group sessions

If you are in doubt about which method to start with, contact an experienced spiritual guide who will select the one for you. optimal way meditation. To maximize the effect of your practice, try to keep track of your thoughts not only during sessions, but also during normal times.

Before starting meditation, turn off the TV, phone and music, and remain in silence. It will help you calm your nervous system and relax your body and mind. Sit on a meditation cushion or bench, or just a straight-backed chair with your feet resting comfortably on the floor. Try sitting with your back straight so that the qi energy flows freely, without tension. Place your hands on your knees with the back of your right hand resting in your left palm and your thumbs touching each other. Relax, but don't crawl. Keep your belly soft. Relax your jaw and face.

Start with a few deep breaths: inhale through your nose and exhale the tension through your mouth. Breathe in and out a few times to release the trapped qi. Now let your breathing become smooth and quiet, do not control the flow. Either close your eyes or leave them half open with a distracted gaze.

Meditation Five-Eight

A very simple exercise for those who find it difficult to meditate. It relieves stress well and is suitable for those who are familiar with hypertension, who have digestive problems or eat chronic diseases... You can meditate at any time of the day or in times of stress. Exercise is great for relaxing on an airplane, in a car, or before a public performance.

Take a few deep breaths and release all tension from yourself by releasing it through your mouth. Deep breathing can help relieve repressed stress. Then begin the meditation by inhaling gently through your nose and slowly counting to five. Exhale through your nose for a count of eight. A prolonged exhalation relieves the reaction caused by fear, calms the nervous system, deeply relaxes. Continue this quiet breath, inhaling in five counts and exhaling in eight. Focus on the rhythm of your breathing, letting your thoughts flow quietly: ignore them. Continue meditation for 10-20 minutes.

Sea meditation

Helps to relieve anxiety. It can be recommended creative individuals and emotionally sensitive people... Get into a meditative pose and take some deep, soothing breaths. Close your eyes and imagine the rolling sea walls. Listen slowly to the soothing rhythm of the ocean. If you live by the sea, sit and listen to the waves, letting the incessant, monotonous sound of the surf become your mantra.

You can also start this meditation by thinking about the qualities of the ocean. In one Chinese tale, the goddess of compassion, Kuan Yin, attained enlightenment by listening to the sea. Comparing the excitement of the ocean and the difficulties of life, she realized that in life, as in the sea, there is always peace under the excitement. The mind is the same: it contains the unshakable essence of our true "I", which is not touched by the waves of life. Dive beneath the surface of life and relax into a deep inner world in the midst of all this rumbling of everyday life.

Dunhuang meditation

Dunhuang - purification meditation. By banishing negativity, they cleanse the body of tension and calm the mind. This is especially helpful if we feel overwhelmed or absorbed in other people's energies and concerns.

  1. Sit on a hard chair with your legs crossed at the ankles, or stand so that one leg crosses the other.
  2. Slightly spread your arms to the sides, elbows outward, hands about 20 cm from the body.
  3. Make an open ring with your thumb and forefinger (as if you are holding an egg), and spread and bend your other fingers like claws.
  4. The space between the big and forefinger must face down to negative energy flowed out of your body into the ground. Tighten your fingers, relax your arms, keeping this position. Sit or stand in this position for 5-10 minutes, breathe through the Dantian (belly).

For more details see D. Davis “Qigong for women's health and longevity ”(Sofia, 2012).

It is an ancient form of Chinese exercise and is based on the concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The principles of performing movements, the combination of movements with breathing, the use of mental concentration - all this helps to achieve a balance between mental and physical states of a person as well as with the world around him.

Everything you need to enlightenment, arrives within ourselves. Can gain mental energy through meditation putting it together. This is necessary in order for it to become very strong, and it could be further used to improve our wisdom.

It is with the help that you can clear your mind of all possible irritating factors. She helps to follow the right way that leads in a single direction, to a single goal. Despite the fact that everyone has their own goal, meditation should take a significant place in our life. In order to master the practice, meditators must know at least the basic methods and techniques.

For beginner adepts there is: you can meditate while sitting, standing, walking or even lying down. It is possible to practice qigong meditation practically at every moment of waking. Meditation should not be considered an activity only when sitting on a cushion in a certain place, for a short time, once a week. Meditation is what we should do daily, just like we breathe, eat, rest, drink. Only then this practice becomes truly meaningful and useful for our life.

Today there are many different ones. You can meditate by concentrating on certain movements. For example, control your own breathing or use special repetitive movements. You can concentrate on solving some paradoxical problem or reflect on the dictum of scripture.

The object of meditation can be either special texts that you can pronounce aloud or speak in your mind. You can use a visual image as the main object of meditation. For example, monks primarily meditate on the image of the Shakyamuni Buddha. For beginners, use more simple objects like a burning candle or just a small black dot. And when we have studied and memorized this image well, it easily arises in our consciousness. When we contemplate a certain object, and there are several things that require more attention, then the meditation goes right.

Alternatively, try meditating on space, looking at the cloudless sky, across which the sun moves in calm weather. Or, for example, meditate at sunset with your back to it.

Qigong Meditation Educational Video - Healing Sounds

You see the second overview from the loop: Healing Qigong by Chunyi Li - Euphoria and Healing. As you already understood, there are 4 more lessons ahead of you and the final Meditationfest article in which I will draw conclusions about these lectures and write out all, in my opinion, the most important provisions of them, I will tell you what is worth paying attention to and what is not necessary ... I repeat that if you are new to meditation, then I do not yet recommend starting to practice any particular technique from the Meditationfest series until you are familiar with all of them and don't read my closing comments. I'm sure that's all good techniques, but the choice of meditation is an important matter, with which it is better not to rush, so be patient, I will try to translate and publish all the lectures as soon as possible. But if you can't wait to start meditating, then if I were you, I would start with.

First, I will briefly talk about the qigong master himself, Chunyi Li, about the beginnings of his spiritual path, about his practice and teaching. And then I will go on to describe the qigong meditation exercises themselves, which you can do on your own. These exercises are aimed not only at spiritual self-improvement, but also contribute to healing the body from disease and self-medication.

The beginnings of Chunyi Li's spiritual path

So this lecture, which I have translated for you, is read by Chunyi Li - Honored Master qigong practices, healer and professor at the university. The catalyst for his spiritual path was a strong emotional shock. During the revolution in China, his parents were imprisoned and he, as a child, along with his brothers and sisters, ended up on the street. His childhood was spent in the struggle for survival, he almost died of starvation, he had to flee from armed soldiers. From childhood, he knew grief, fear and poverty.

This left an indelible mark on him. As an adult, he looked at things from a negative angle, he was overcome by anger and. The experience of teaching improved the matter a little: after he became a professor at the university, he realized how wonderful it is to teach people and help them. During the lectures, depression and blues disappeared, but as soon as he returned home in the evening, all this returned to him.

Qigong treatment. Healing body and soul

Then Lin was injured and fell ill with arthritis. Illness and state of mind forced him to do something, take care of himself. Lin began to practice healing qigong (the Chinese practice of self-regulation of the body) and as a result, thanks to meditative qigong practice, his illness passed. But this ancient Chinese meditation technique not only restored his physical health, she gave him new perception of life... The depression passed and never came back. The world was filled with bright colors and Lin began to realize all the beauty and perfection of the universe! He began to look at things from the other side! Love for people and for all that exists has awakened in him.

He began to help others in solving life problems. Lin saved marriages, restored happiness and love of life to people, healed them. Lin believes that negative emotions are the source of human disease and unhappiness: stress, fear, depression, anger. These emotions create energy blockages that prevent the free circulation of energy within us, in this he agrees with the previous speaker -.

Lin states that the healthiest and longest-living people are happy people full of joy. They rarely lose a smile on their faces, even in the most difficult situations in life, they maintain optimism and faith in themselves. And depression, mental blues, anger make us sick and shorten our lives.

Qigong exercises relax the mind and plunge into emptiness, where the true self is found. Practice allows you to control negative emotions and not succumb to them. Gradually, as you practice qigong, you learn to focus on the positive aspects of life, only in this case a person can feel happy at every moment of time.

Lin teaches that need to complain less and help others more... He especially advises against complaining about his body. A qigong master says that people should listen to the body, learn from it, and eliminate energy blocks. Qigong practice opens up all these possibilities.

Chunyi Ling says that you should not find fault with your / your spouse, there is no need to compare the weaknesses of your / your wife / husband with the strengths of other people's wives and husbands. Because from this perspective, your wife will seem to you an unworthy, bad wife. Better focus on the strengths of your wife and compare them with weaknesses stranger! Then you will love your wife more and complain less about her. This is what Chinese wisdom teaches. I recommend listening to these tips, they are very helpful indeed.

Now let's move on directly to the practice itself. wellness qigong

Healing qigong. The exercise

Lin assures that his exercise will relieve pain and feel better. But, nevertheless, he warns that when you first start practicing qigong, the symptoms of your illness may intensify at first, before disappearing partially or completely.

I, the author of this translation, faced such an effect: when I began to meditate with the mantra, depression and anxiety attacks only intensified during the first two weeks of practice, but then, they completely disappeared. Some explain this by the fact that there is intense "Spiritual cleansing", the negative begins to come out and this process at first cannot be painless. I do not know whether this is so or not, but, nevertheless, a case of intensification of negative symptoms took place in me.

So let's get down to qigong meditation itself. You can do it whenever you want.

Get into a sitting position and relax. Close your eyes. Breathe in and out deeply, calmly and slowly, three times. Press your tongue to your palate, place your hands, palms up, and imagine holding a glowing ball of energy against your navel. Say to yourself:

  • I'm in the universe
  • The universe is in my body
  • I and the universe are united

From this moment on, you feel harmony with the cosmos. You are calm and relaxed, you are immersed in emptiness. Every part of your body is relaxed. (begin to alternately relax body parts from top to bottom from the head). The head is relaxed, the neck is relaxed ... and so on: shoulders, back, lower back, abdomen, tailbone, legs, knees, calves, feet - everything is relaxed. All energy channels are open, energy flows freely through the body, passes along the spine.

There is calmness in your head, all problems turn into smoke, you can breathe easily, your whole body is relaxed. All energy blocks turn to smoke and disappear. All organs of the body are doing well. Your blood sugar and blood pressure are back to normal. Your nervous system, circulatory system, immune system bounce back. Every cell in your body repairs and bounces back. You feel healthy and happy.

From now on, imagine that you are a little boy. You run on the grass: colorful flowers of incredible beauty grow around, butterflies flutter in the sky, the air is filled with wonderful aromas, you hear the murmur of streams and the laughter of happy children. Stress leaves, kindness and calmness returns to you, your true self returns to you. You are experiencing joy. No more tiredness and depression. Fears disappear. All negativity goes away. You feel calm in body and soul. The world around is beautiful.

When you're ready, open your eyes and wake up. You are greeted by a beautiful and wonderful world.

Concluding comments on the review

The Chunyi Ling exercises include an audio course, it is assumed that you will listen to the calm and measured voice of the master during the meditation, who tells you all these things (relax, imagine that you are a little boy, etc.) that I described above. The recording of this voice is purchased on the meditationfest website for quite a bit of money. But I don’t think it’s important, you can say these phrases to yourself and imagine certain things on your own.

Also you are free not to follow exactly the prescriptions in terms of visualization of images during meditation: little boy can be changed to any other image: use your imagination, nothing prevents you from imagining yourself on the seashore, in the mountains, or in a quiet forest, the main thing is that the imaginary situation is pacifying. Things you say to yourself like "I am in the universe" can be reformulated or come up with your own phrases.

As for the alternate relaxation of all organs, I do not see anything wrong with that. But I have a certain amount of skepticism and doubts about the need to rearrange all these energy flows inside our body. The circulation of energy within us, energy blocks - all of this is not objectively registered physical phenomena (there is no other kind of phenomena other than physical in the world, in my opinion, neither spiritual, nor mental, nor energetic, these are all just subspecies of physical, material processes). This is all just subjective and simplistic interpretation. certain people everything that happens in our body.

This point of view of what is happening inside, and it can both reflect the existing state of affairs, so it may not reflect it. Therefore, I do not recommend imagining in our body something that may not be in it. Who knows what this can lead to, imagine everyone for yourself ...

I respect the practice and opinion of Chunyi Ling, but since this is my site and I feel responsible for what readers can take from here and use in their lives. Therefore, I cannot publish what I do not quite agree with without my own comments and corrections. And when you get familiar with them, you can already choose what to believe in. I did my job and warned you.

That's all. Wait for the next lesson. This will be the Mindfulness Meditation from Jedha Mali.

Qigong teaching is aimed at regulating the flow of energy, consciously managing it, dissolving plugs in the channels, strengthening them, improving a person's well-being, and gaining control over their emotions and thoughts. Qigong System: Exercise and meditation within this ancient Chinese method will be the subject of this article.

Qigong system: the essence of the technique

The qigong system is aimed at regulating the flow of energy in the human body.

The physical body of a person is only his outer shell. It has six more so-called "subtle" bodies (astral, mental, etc.).

If the vessels-channels are elastic, not clogged with slags, then the body is healthy and fresh, the energy reaches every part of the body and the person feels cheerful and light. However, if somewhere there is a blockage of the vessel-channel, its pathological change, the energy cannot circulate normally, ceases to enrich the body with useful components, then fatigue appears, a person feels exhausted, quickly gets tired, and this is a harbinger of an incipient disease.

The possibilities of Chinese medicine are almost endless. With constant and prolonged training, a person can even develop the ability to clairvoyance and transmit thoughts over a distance, and life expectancy increases significantly.

Qigong system: 3 main rules

While mastering the qigong system, you must remember 3 basic rules:

A person should be in a state of rest and relaxation, immerse himself in himself, thereby purifying his heart and mind;

A constant rhythm and uniformity of breathing must be observed;

Training should be clear and continuous. Exercises of the qigong system are of a breathing-meditation or breathing-dynamic nature, depending on the goal, that is, summarizing all that has been said, the qigong complex includes everything that is associated with the attraction of Qi energy.

Qigong exercises

We bring to your attention several exercises that are used to improve the health of the body.

Qigong Exercise 1

You should take the correct posture for the rest of the exercises.

Stand up straight, relax, imagine that there is a small hook on the crown and you are hung and held by it. Mentally hang on it, let the weight of your body be held by this someone.

Close your mouth, touch the upper teeth, pull the chin forward and relax it.

Relax your abdomen and hips as much as possible. This is very important point... Pull the chest up.

Elbows apart in different sides so that there is an empty space under the armpits.

Bend your knees and bring them slightly together, lean on them. At first this position will seem very uncomfortable to you, but gradually you will feel the perfection of this posture, it is used not only in the qigong system, but also in other methods of energy manipulation and is considered ideal for the movement of energy through the channels.

Qigong Exercise 2

Now that the correct posture has been taken, you need to take your breath, take 3 deep breaths. Then inhale again and at this moment put your hands (right to left) on a point called "dan-tien" and located 3 cm below the navel. As you exhale, sit down and linger in this position. On inhalation, rise again, and on exhalation - sit down, do not take your hands off the lower abdomen. Breathe like this for a while.

Now you have come, one might say, in working order.

Qigong Exercise 3

Now let's look at a very simple way to improve health, it stimulates and increases the energy of Chi. It can be conventionally called a "free step".

You need to go forward with the right foot, smoothly passing from the heel to the toe.

Keep your body as relaxed as possible, turn your head and waist with each step.

Give a signal with your hands, but without straining.

Breathe through your nose, smile, imagining that you see an amazing landscape around you.

Qigong Exercise 4

One of the ways to increase energy circulation, used to improve well-being and supply energy to the internal organs, is similar to a warm-up.

Take the starting position.

Start from the head. Keep your head straight, inhale. As you exhale, press your chin to your neck and make a circular scoring movement to the shoulder (you don't need to tilt your head behind your back) and back to the neck, inhale. Do 8 times to the right and 8 times to the left.

Shoulders. With the fingers of your right hand, touch the right shoulder and do right hand 8 circular movements, the same with the left hand (on inhalation, the movement begins, and the end is followed by exhalation).

Hips, pelvis. Make 8 rotational movements of the pelvis and hips. Lap. Take the starting position - feet shoulder-width apart with knees brought together (but not close, of course). Without unbending your legs

make a rotational movement with your knees outward, repeat it 8 times.

Ankles. Without lifting the toe off the ground, rotate each heel 8 times.

In conclusion, stand on both feet and make slow rolls from heel to toe, from toe to heel.

Qigong Exercise 5

Exercise that improves the functioning of the liver, spleen and lungs. It is performed in a step, you need to step from the toe, namely from the big toe, breathe through the nose. And so take a step with your foot, at the same time take 2 short breaths, begin to massage the edge of the ribs under the solar plexus with the same hand, turn the body towards the leg that remains behind, and take this hand back, and the fingers of the hand laid back , fold as if you are holding something.

Rub the nail grooves of the other four with your thumb, then rub the groove of the thumb with your index finger. Exhale.

Repeat the same with the other leg and take 50-60 steps in this way.

Do not pay attention to the apparent confusion of the exercise, it is aimed at stimulating the main channels of energy, you will not see the result right away, but with regular repetition, the effect will be obvious.

Qigong Exercise 6

Strengthening the heart. The cycle consists of 4 steps. Take a step with your right foot and inhale, take a left - inhale again, take another right and exhale (breathing is done through the nose), skip the fourth step and do not breathe on it. In the fourth step, with the middle finger (on both hands), touch any point on the palm. Waving your arms gently all this time.

Qigong meditation

Now I would like to briefly dwell on qigong meditation. It is called "Daoin".

Daoin is a concentrated, relaxed state. All exercises should be performed in this calm and deep state.

To feel it, you need to sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and relax. Breathe deeply, belly. Do not strain, do not rush, throw everything out of your head, take a break from household trifles for at least 5 minutes.

Try to tune in to an even, calm state (a nervous breakdown or violent glee will equally interfere with you). We must freeze, but not physically. This world should be given the opportunity to continue vanity, while you have forgotten about it and do not participate in its movement, but plunge into the depths, stop.

There is one way in the qigong system to slightly change your energy, to clean it. It can be done anywhere. To do this, you need to break away from the hustle and bustle.

Let's say you are walking down the street, your brain is actively working, you think and do not notice anything around, that is, you are immersed in a certain world.

Stop (of course, not in the literal sense) in the middle of the street. You need to stop the flow of thoughts, imagine that you are in this place for the first time, and at this time try to realize that the whole world is in motion, in vanity, and you froze, you are not in it. It is necessary to look at this world from the outside, relax, do not be touched by what is happening around you. It is not worth holding this state, it is enough to catch it and fix it in consciousness.

Qigong meditation principles

As for meditation on the qigong system, we stopped at the fact that you need to take a few deep breaths, relax and calm down. You should focus on the exercise, on every movement, feel it, try to feel your body (then it will begin to fill with energy), just concentrate on your body, there is no need to rush.

For example, having taken the initial pose, stand in it for a while, realize its softness, roundness, and the perfection of your body.

What we direct our love to will always respond to us with love and a kind attitude, just do not confuse love and desire to help with obsession and desire to control. The beloved or loved one must be free in order to be happy.

During meditation on the qigong system, you need to learn to feel your body, find with it mutual language, then it will always in time signal you about the onset of the disease, tell you what it needs at the moment.
