Everything you need to know about the exam in computer science. How to learn history from scratch to pass the exam? What you need to know to pass the exam

The most popular query in the Google search engine, from April to August, is the question: “How to pass the exam if you don’t know anything?”. Alas and ah! At all times, schoolchildren and students preferred more sophisticated and fun methods of passing exams to cramming and studying. Everyone, for example, knows perfectly well what cheat sheets are, or “spurs,” as negligent students call them. But times are changing, the usual graduation is being replaced by the exam, the methods of passing are also changing, becoming more and more sophisticated and inventive. So how to pass the exam if you don’t know anything?

According to the results of the same Google service, one of the leaders among the USE is the Russian language, preparation for which consists not only in cramming the rules, but also in the ability to hear and reproduce what is heard. This exam is often taken by graduates - thanks in part to the Internet, the country's literacy rate is steadily falling. And there is nothing to advise students, except to read more, because literacy depends not only on the learned rules, but also on the number of books read, vocabulary and general erudition of a person. In addition, in Russian, the second, by the way, in terms of complexity among the languages of the world, there are a lot of words that are exceptions to the rules. Here they should be written down on cheat sheets.

Such things themselves have also become technologically more advanced. While the mothers and fathers of the current student candidates manually copied answers to questions from the Talmuds in the library, practicing not only the ability to shorten words, but also left-handed skills (otherwise you can’t name attempts to cram a detailed answer to a question onto a leaf 5x5 centimeters in size), their descendants mastering the computer functions of MS Word with might and main. So now it’s just a shame to ask the question of how to pass the exam if you don’t know anything, when the textbook on the subject can be shrunk to and printed out in 3 minutes.

Another way to answer the exam was modern mobile technology. Why bother if you can just turn on Skype on your phone or put or put bluetooth on your ear, and put a friend on the other end of the wire with a textbook that, like in the movie "Shurik's Adventures", will shout: "Reception, reception!". True, teachers have also become quite savvy in modern technologies, and therefore they seize all gadgets from negligent students before the exam.

But in general, if you think about it, then the 11th grade passes the exam not only to deceive the teachers. First of all, this is a way to prove to ourselves: all the guys, now we are adults. Therefore, this exam is made of choice for the prospective student. It is a test task, although in general this approach makes children rely more and more on “maybe”. So before taking the exam, future specialists should think - for whom are they doing this? And if the answer is still “For myself”, then it is worth learning the subject. And if the answer is different, then maybe you should think about whether you need to take it at all right now? Maybe you should grow up before tormenting the search engine with a naive and stupid question: “How to pass the exam if you don’t know anything?”.

By law, a graduate of previous years can apply for testing in any region of Russia - regardless of where he is registered and where he completed his education. However, if you are in the same city where you have registered at your place of residence, you will most likely have to apply in accordance with your registration, even if you live or work on the other side of the city. However, options are possible: the exact regulations for the work of registration points for graduates of past years are established by regional educational authorities and may vary slightly in different regions of Russia. So, if you plan to take exams outside the place of residence, it is best to call the USE hotline in your region and clarify where you are eligible to apply.

The hotline numbers can be found on the official portal ege.edu.ru in the information support section. There you will also find links to regional sites dedicated to passing the exam. It is on them that “verified”, official information is placed on the addresses of points where you can apply for the exam - with contact numbers and opening hours. As a rule, applications are accepted on business days, two or three days a week during specially designated hours.

What documents are required to register for the exam

To apply, you will need to submit the following set of documents:

  • document on complete secondary education (original);

  • the passport;

  • if in the interval between graduation from school and passing the exams you changed your last name or first name - a document confirming this fact (marriage certificate or a change of name or last name),

  • if secondary education was received in a foreign educational institution - a notarized translation of the certificate into Russian.

You do not need to make copies of the documents: after the registration point employees enter all your data into the automated system, the originals will be returned to you.

What you need to know when applying for the exam

By the time of the visit to the registration point for graduates of previous years, you must finally make a list of items that you plan to take - it will be very difficult to change the "set". If school graduates are required to study Russian and mathematics, then this rule does not apply to people who have already received a complete secondary education: you can take only those subjects that are required for admission to a university.

Decide will you write an essay. For 11th-graders, obtaining a “pass” in an essay is an indispensable condition for admission to exams, but graduates of previous years who take the USE “of their own free will” are not required to do this - they receive “admission” automatically, upon the fact of having a certificate. Therefore, it is better to clarify the issue of writing with the admission committee of the university you have chosen: is its presence mandatory, can it bring you additional points upon admission. If the answer to both questions is “no”, then you can safely not include the essay in the list.

If you are planning to take the exam in a foreign language– decide whether you will limit yourself to the written part only (which can bring up to 80 points), or will also take the speaking part (an additional 20 points). The oral part of the exam is held on another day, and if you are not faced with the task of scoring maximum points, it is not necessary to participate in it.

Choose the dates in which you want to take the exams. Graduates of previous years have the opportunity to take exams both on the main dates (in May-June, simultaneously with schoolchildren) or on an early “wave” (March-). Choose what is more convenient for you.

How is the registration for the exam for graduates of past years

The application process is quite simple, but you should not come to the registration point 10 minutes before the deadline, especially if you apply in the last weeks before the deadline: it is possible that you will have to wait in line for a while.

Documents are submitted in person. To register for exams:

  • you will have to fill out a consent to the processing of personal data and entering them into the AIS (automatic identification system);

  • employees of the check-in point will check your documents and enter your personal and passport data, as well as passport data into the system;

  • you will inform which subjects and in what terms you plan to take, after which an application for passing the exam will be automatically generated indicating the subjects you have chosen and the dates of the exams;

  • you will check the printed application, and, making sure that all the data are correct, sign;

  • the employees of the registration point will give you a copy of the application with a note about the acceptance of documents, a memo for the USE participant and instruct you how and when you will need to come to get a pass for the exam.

How much does it cost to pass the exam for graduates of previous years

The unified state exam is held for all categories of participants, including graduates of previous years, regardless of how many subjects you decide to take. Therefore, the procedure for receiving documents does not imply the presentation of receipts or payment for registration services.

At the same time, in most regions, graduates of previous years can take part in “trial”, training exams, which take place in conditions as close as possible to reality, are evaluated according to the USE standards and allow participants to gain additional training experience. This is a paid additional service offered by the educational authorities - and if you wish, you can use it. However, participation in such "rehearsals" is completely voluntary.

Hello everyone! Today I decided to dedicate a post to a very topical topic. Let's answer once and for all: is it difficult to pass the exam? What steps should be taken to pass school exams and enter a university on a budget? We will give all the answers in this article.

About a year and a half ago, I learned a completely surprising thing for myself: the class teacher of the first grade at the parents' meeting of one average Russian school began to talk about the need to start preparing for the Unified State Examination right now - in the first grade. To which one mother asked: will children have a childhood at all in this case? The answer is obvious - of course not.

School life should be varied and entice children to engage not only in the study of science, but also to involve them in creative and other social life.

But the Unified State Examination is today a milestone event. And for it, like for any event, you need to prepare in advance. But is this exam difficult?

Answering a question about difficulty

To me, as a specialist in history with a higher education, a candidate of sociological sciences - in a word, an expert in the field of education, any USE test in history or society seems very simple. I'm serious. In ten years of teaching and tutoring, I have done thousands of these tests, and they are actually quite easy - for me.

And this is absolutely normal for a specialist who is an expert in his field.

Of course, it is easy to scare any parent in general that the USE assignments are difficult and unbearable for a child. And if such a parent sees any USE assignment in history or society, then, of course, it will seem very difficult to him. After all, a parent graduated from school 20-30 years ago and did not remember the school curriculum for about the same number of years.

As a teacher at a technology school told us: “Guys, you will need math in life only to count money!” In general, we can agree with this: if your professional activity is not related to serious calculations, mathematics is needed in life in order to count the money earned.

Well, history or social science is a completely different story: most people consider these disciplines generally useless for life, and it’s not my task to convince you or anyone of this. After all, not everyone can be historians, political scientists or sociologists!

But I will be more categorical. Any USE test in history and social science can be written by absolutely any student of the school for the maximum score if he meets three conditions:

  1. He or she owns the school material and understands it.
  2. He or she has general social science erudition and curiosity
  3. He or she is able to formulate and express his thoughts orally and in writing in the correct form without any problems.

In essence, this should be taught by the school: to formulate and express their thoughts orally and in writing in the correct form. And in order for thoughts to appear, the student must be able to reason: inductively or deductively - it doesn’t matter.

Such a student of the school is able to prepare for the exam on his own.

In fact, it is extremely difficult to pass the exam

In reality, despite the fact that the USE test is quite easy, it is extremely difficult for an ordinary modern 11-grader to solve it for the maximum score. The reason for this is simple: it does not meet all three of the conditions I outlined above.

Ask the children to write an essay about themselves: a kind of autobiography. It is nowhere easier to motivate to write such a text: say that in life everyone will have to tell at least an employer about themselves. What will he say about his lifestyle, his hobbies and other things, how will he characterize his personal qualities?

So 9 out of 10 guys will not be able to write such a simple paper correctly. In 45 minutes, most will write 3-4 sentences. Although a student who meets the conditions above will write 3 notebook sheets and will not have enough time. By the way, if you are reading this text and do not agree with me, I really want to read your comment on what exactly you do not agree with. I'm basing myself on my professional experience. Even almost half of university students cannot write two words on a free topic.

The reasons are obvious and I won't go into them here. So imagine that after 10 years of school life, during which the guys were doing anything but regular education, for the first time in their lives they face a real life test, for which they will receive an objective assessment!

And also if they are shown the exam paper, which they will see, God forbid, at the beginning of the graduation class. And after all, many see it only at trial testing in May - a few days before the real exam!

And it is not surprising that the average USE score falls every year. Because those who passed the exam with the minimum scores do not tell their "descendants" anything. And those who will again take the exam are sure that they will somehow cope with it: somehow they coped with school assignments for 10 years!

The USE will seem to the guys just a tough exam that is unrealistic to pass. Add to this the constant intimidation of them by teachers who make up the USE every year with hysteria, mass rumors that the entire exam has changed dramatically - and you will get such a “Molotov cocktail” from which few will come out alive, in the sense that they will pass it relatively easy examination with honor and high scores.

How to pass an easy exam with 90 or more points?

And now a natural question arises: how can a difficult exam be turned into an easy one and pass history or society with 90 points or more?

Actually, not at all. If you don’t know how to formulate and express your thoughts orally and in writing, if you simply don’t have your own thoughts, that is, in fact, you don’t know how to think logically, then you won’t pass the exam for high scores.

Such is the exam that it checks precisely such skills as mastery of educational material at an excellent level, mastery of terminology, mastery of the skills of formulating and presenting one's thoughts, as well as general social science erudition.

Most kids and their parents just ignore it and rely on rote learning.

As a result, natural problems arise: how the hell do you learn 30 definitions? How the hell do you learn so many dates? And how do you write an essay on social studies and history? And there are a lot of these questions. After all, none of the students and their parents is a specialist in education and use the old grandfather's cramming.

Let's take a simple example. For example, a student is studying the topic of fragmentation in Russia. Before him stands a fairly significant layer of educational material. Here's something like this:

  • Dates: 1097, 1103, 1111, 1113 — 1125, 1125 — 1132, 1132 — 1157, 1157 — 1174, 1169, 1157, 1185, 1205, 1216
  • Persons: Vladimir Monomakh, Mstislav the Great, Svyatopolk Izyaslavovich, Yuri Dolgoruky, Andrei Bogolyubsky, Vsevolod the Big Nest, Yaroslav Osmomysl.
  • Terms: subsistence farming, the Yaroslavi family, Polovtsy, the Lubech Congress of Princes, the boyar republic, the thousand, posadnik, archbishop, veche, etc.
  • Natural-geographical and political characteristics of the principalities: Novgorod Land, Vladimir-Suzdal principality, Ryazan principality, Galicia-Volyn.

It is not difficult to guess that all this seems to the student to be unbearable material that is simply unrealistic to learn. After all, there are so many dates, concepts, personalities, you need to know when they lived, ruled and what they did in general ?! But this is a very small layer of material in the context of the history of Russia and World history. In fact, this is generally one of the easy topics. There are topics that are much more complex and extensive than this within the framework of the school history curriculum.

Manuals with textbooks will also catch up with melancholy. To prove this, I will simply ask: how long have you orally answered questions to yourself in the textbook for the paragraph after reading it? Not? Well then, don't be surprised that you don't remember anything, because there is no reflection in your educational process. And it is mandatory for any study of new material.

Do you often get high-quality answers from yourself to the questions of a textbook paragraph? And then you still solve tasks on this topic? Of course, the vast majority do not. Why bother? It's just an awesome waste of time and effort! There's still six months left before the exam!

Meanwhile, as a specialist, I can offer you an alternative way of working with both the above topic and all the others. At the same time, your time and effort will be at least five times less. That is, if it takes you 5 hours to fully master this topic on your own, then with the help of my methodology, it will take you only one hour! Intrigued? An hour against five is a fairy tale!

Well, so: imagine that you do not need to read any textbooks or manuals. Imagine that I will tell you all the material on this topic in an interesting, accessible and understandable form in 15-20 minutes.

And for the remaining 40 minutes, we will consolidate this material in the form of assignments for this topic in the USE format.

This is what the training material looks like in our training courses

How can I tell you the 5-hour material that is presented in the textbook in 15 minutes? Very simple. You do not need to spend time reading the text, its comprehension and note-taking. I already did it for you. My story will be very structured: I will tell you about the reasons for the fragmentation in Russia, about the main characters who were involved in it, and I will give you the characteristics of all the principalities indicated above.

Moreover, all causes, events, and consequences are linked in a logical chain, and since the material is clear to you, you will memorize it five times faster and easier!

And absolutely ALL material on history and society is divided into such classes. ALL material is presented in the form of video tutorials. We analyze special nuances at webinars. Each lesson is accompanied by assignments and all my author's materials that will help you simply and naturally remember the material studied.

Our courses save you time and energy by at least five times. If you are preparing yourself from scratch, then at best you will have learned all the theory only by April of your graduation class. And you also need to learn how to solve tests! This is a separate big and sore subject. Most of the guys just don’t pass the exam normally, because they seem to know the theory, but they don’t know how to solve tests.

In our own courses, such a situation is basically impossible. Because tasks are attached to each lesson, passing which the student learns to perform them according to the principle from simple to complex.

A fragment of the list of interactive tests that are available to participants in our training courses

In fact, he himself does not notice how he already understands seemingly complex problems. As a result - 90 points on the real exam and above!

This result is available to anyone who completes our courses in full, including the final exam papers.

A fragment of the list of participants in training courses and information on their performance

Here, many people have a question: will he (a) be able to complete the entire course. The answer is simple: of course yes, if you are engaged. Well, OK. For example, you want to learn how to play basketball. But only half of the total number of trainings went through, and then they took it and left everything. Will you achieve the intended result? Of course not! Or you decide to learn how to play chess and get 2 ranks. But only half of the training program was completed. Of course, you will play chess better than before training, but you will be far from the second category.

The same goes for exam preparation courses. If you want the maximum result, you must complete the course completely. Although I had guys who abandoned the course, they passed the exam with an acceptable 80 points, although they themselves did not hope to pass that much! By the way, here is a letter from such a student:

Here is the text of the letter:

Hello Andrey Alexandrovich.

Scored 79 points. I am very glad, I could not even dream of such scores, considering that I was preparing for only half a year and did not even finish the course to the end ... I generally wrote the essay on the go in 15 minutes, there was not enough time ... but nevertheless I wrote and even I got 3 points out of 5. The test did not expect that I would write so well, because I didn’t practice much, 31 out of 35. In many ways, this is your merit, so thank you very much, you helped me a lot!

Sincerely, Andrey Puchkov

So, this year your child will have a real test - passing the exam. You are probably worried, if not more, then at least as much as your high school student, because this is so important! It’s just that it’s very difficult to figure it all out, the children don’t want to explain anything, and the official sites are drowning in bureaucracy.

The editors of the site come to your aid and tell you about everything in detail and livelier than Rosobrnadzor. Take notes and tell the children if they don't know.

- What is the USE? Is it really what we need?

The USE is a form of state final certification for educational programs of secondary general education. In other words, the final exam at graduation from school. The exam is required to pass, without passing it, the child will not be able to get a certificate and go to college.

- Okay. Will have to go. How many items do you need to submit?

There are still only two compulsory subjects for delivery - Russian and mathematics. No new items have been introduced this year, this awaits us only in 2020. The child has the opportunity to choose additional subjects of choice (required for admission). You can take the following disciplines: physics, chemistry, history, social science, computer science, biology, geography, literature and foreign languages. In addition to mathematics, all subjects are evaluated on a hundred-point system.

- What's wrong with math?

The fact is that the exam in mathematics is divided into basic and specialized. The child himself can choose what he needs (or he can choose to return the subject in two versions). A basic level is required to get a high school diploma and be able to enter a university where mathematics is not an entrance exam. The base level will be assessed on a five-point system. And an exam in mathematics at a profile level is taken by schoolchildren who plan to enter a university in which mathematics is included in the list of mandatory entrance tests. And in this case, the exam will be evaluated on a hundred-point system.

- Well, and everyone gets admission to the exam?

In order to get admission to the exam, you must:

  • apply for the exam in selected subjects (this year - before February 1);
  • get all annual grades in all academic subjects at school not lower than “satisfactory”, no twos;
  • pass the final presentation in the Russian language.

- Okay, when are these exams? And where?

The USE schedule is official, common throughout Russia. You can view it on the official portal of the Unified State Examination and on the website of Rosobrnadzor. To pass the exam, children go to another school, where exactly, the students will be told at their educational institution closer to the exams. But you won't have to go far - it will be one of the district schools.

- And what if two exams are held on the same day? How to break something?

No need to break. The schedule is already known, for all such items there are reserve days. Just when applying, you must indicate the date of participation in the exam, which is convenient for you.

- And if my child is disabled, can he not take the exam?

Maybe. For disabled people and children with disabilities, another form of passing is provided - GVE (state final exam). It is easier, but it has its drawbacks: it is also automated and cannot be an entrance test to a university. The university will not accept its results, but will appoint new entrance tests, which can be both easier and more difficult for the student.

- Okay, I changed my mind, it's better to pass the exam. Will he be provided with the necessary conditions?

Certainly. Firstly, the exam time for children with disabilities is increased by 1.5 hours (and by 30 minutes for foreign languages). Secondly, you can choose a “special seating arrangement”, that is, ask the child to sit in the classroom alone. Thirdly, all children will be provided with the necessary technical equipment (if necessary: computers, magnifiers, sound amplifying equipment, Braille forms, etc.). Also, children can freely move to the toilet, interrupt for medical procedures or for a snack. In extreme cases, the exam is also carried out at home.

- Okay, but how is the exam going in general?

Each exam starts at 10:00 local time. It is undesirable to be late - no one will increase the time for you and the briefing will not be repeated. You can take with you: a passport (required), a gel, capillary pen with black ink (also required), medicines and food (if necessary), teaching and education tools (in mathematics, a ruler; in physics - a ruler and a non-programmable calculator; in chemistry - a non-programmable calculator; in geography - a ruler, a protractor, a non-programmable calculator). USE participants with disabilities - special technical equipment.

Everything else is rented at the entrance to a special place for storing things.

After checking the documents, the child will be taken to the place, he cannot change it. Then the briefing begins, if something is wrong with the set of tasks (the integrity of the packaging is broken), you need to say about it at this moment, then this will not be a reason for appeal. After the briefing, you need to open the package, make sure that everything you need is in place, the text is well printed, the paper has no defects, the task is in Russian, and not in mathematics, etc. Everything that needs to be checked will be told to the children.

Next, the registration form is filled out, after which the student proceeds to the task. After completion, you need to fold all the sheets and take them to the examiner. Everything, you can go home, it is not necessary to wait for the end of the exam.

- Can you write it off?

It's complicated. There are jammers everywhere, mobile communication is not available, even if the child brought a phone with him. You can go to the toilet, but under the “escort”, you won’t have time to read much. For a cheat sheet that they saw, a child can be removed from the exam, withdrawn and not checked his work. Plus, there are cameras everywhere. Better get ready.

- When and how will the results be announced? What if I don't like them?

The results should become known approximately three days after the date of delivery, they will be transferred to the educational institution, and they can also be checked on the Internet. If you and your child are not satisfied with the number of points, you can file an appeal within two business days after the results are officially announced. This is a personal meeting with independent experts, where you and your child can look at the work and try to prove that Gogol wrote Onegin. The truth is not the fact that it will work.

- Can they lower the score on appeal?

When considering an appeal, the conflict commission completely rechecks the examination paper. So - yes, the result can change in any direction. And if anything, it is no longer possible to appeal the appeal.

- And what is the passing score now?

36 points in Russian and 27 points in mathematics at the profile level. The rest of the minimum scores can be found at the disposal of Rosobrnadzor.

- And if you didn't?

If the student has not passed the compulsory subject, he has the right to re-take it in an additional time frame (approximately two weeks later). In case of repeated "failure" - only in the fall, in a special center, and until that time you will not be issued a certificate. Children can also retake the exam when they receive a passing score (that is, to improve their score). If it didn't work out again - in the summer with a new wave of graduates. And so on ad infinitum.

As for elective subjects, if the student has not scored the minimum number of points, retake only after a year.

- Good. With the exam, everything seems to be clear. What about admission?

And we will tell you about it next time.

Statements of school teachers that "you are not the exam" must be divided by at least ten. They are just trying to motivate their students in this way to intensively prepare for the exam.

In fact, even those who are sure that they don’t know anything pass the exam in the Russian language. The percentage of graduates who have not overcome the minimum threshold is on average around 1-1.5% in Russia. At the same time, the number of "losers" is distributed unevenly - most of them are in those regions for whose inhabitants Russian is the "second" language. For example, in the North Caucasus in 2015, 17% of graduates could not cross the threshold (in Russia - 1.5%), in 2016 - 7% (on average in the country - 1%).

Thus, almost all schoolchildren for whom Russian is their native language successfully overcome the minimum bar. This is because the exam does not primarily check knowledge of theory, the ability to determine types of sentences or make analyzes, etc., but practical knowledge of the language. That is, elementary literacy, the ability to understand and analyze what is read, to express one's thoughts in writing, and so on.

If we compare the USE assignments in Russian with the GIA assignments that schoolchildren write after, you can immediately see that the GIA is more focused on theory, and the USE is more focused on practice. That is why the Unified State Examination in the Russian language is eventually passed even by those who did not prepare specially and therefore think that they know nothing about this subject. But 11 years of schooling and the constant use of language as a means of communication is also knowledge and skill.

Threshold (minimum) and average USE scores in the Russian language

The threshold scores for the USE in the Russian language are not very high. The translation of primary scores into a hundred-point scale may vary slightly (it is determined only after passing the exams). But usually for to get a school leaving certificate, a student needs to get only 10 primary points (24 test). At the same time, the maximum possible number of primary points is 57. And 10 points of the “minimum salary” are easily gained on the simplest tasks with short answers. For example, according to analysts, the vast majority of graduates cope with tasks on understanding the basic word, spelling prefixes, choosing the correct lexical meaning of a word, and many others.

For university admission the threshold score of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language is higher and is 16 primary scores (36 test scores). This is 28% of the possible maximum - and it is also not difficult to gain them. According to statistics, only about 2.5% of Russian graduates cannot overcome the "university" level.

The average USE scores in the Russian language fluctuate slightly from year to year. For example, in 2015, the average score on a hundred-point scale was 65.9, in 2016 - 68. These are 39-42 primary points.

That is, those who pass the exam have a “right to make a mistake”: you can “lose” about a quarter of the points in the process of passing the exam, but at the same time get a very “strong” result, giving chances for successful admission to the budget. However, scores above sixty are usually obtained by students with a high level of literacy, who still took the time to "target" the preparation for the exam.

How to quickly prepare for the exam in the Russian language

In schools, high school students often begin to "tightly" prepare for final exams from the 10th grade, convincing them that it is impossible to prepare for the Unified State Examination "in just a year." But if there are only a few days left before the exam, and you just now decided to get busy preparing, even in a very short time you can manage to “pull up” the subject.

The easiest way to do this is using online simulators designed for self-preparation for exams, for example:

  • Yandex. USE,

  • I solve the exam

  • Dunno PRO.

Structurally, the USE in the Russian language is divided into three parts:

  • block of tasks with short answers;

  • questions with short answers based on the read text;

  • writing.

For express exam preparation, it makes sense to focus on the first two parts. Writing practice essays the day before the exam or reading samples of work with analysis makes sense only if you perfectly know the subject and “go for a hundred”. Therefore, just check how well you remember the structure of the essay and the requirements for it - and proceed to work on the test part.

  1. Take 3-4 tests. This will allow you to brush up on the structure of the Russian language exam paper and determine your level of knowledge. Try to answer questions quickly, without looking at textbooks and Internet information resources. If a question confuses you, just skip it or answer at random.

  2. Analyze your results. See how many points you manage to get for passing the test, which questions you usually give the right answers to, and where you “float” or don’t know anything at all.

  3. Highlight topics about which you have some idea, but not solid enough - these are just the questions that it makes sense to work on in order to secure additional points on the exam.

  4. “Aiming” work out these questions - refresh the theory in your memory and fix it on the simulator, choosing not the full version of the USE test, but the corresponding thematic block. If you have only a few hours to prepare, give preference to topics with a small amount of theory. For example, remembering the rules or the fact that the appeal is highlighted by commas is much easier than learning all the words from the orthoepic minimum or dealing with the intricacies of spelling “n” and “nn” in detail.

  5. Take the whole test a couple more times and compare the results. Most likely, as a result of such a blitz training, your average score for the short answer part will grow significantly.

How to pass Russian for the maximum score

In order to pass the exam at the limit of your own abilities, you must meet several conditions:

  • be sure to sleep before the exam, at least a little, and if you can’t fall asleep in any way, at least just lie down in silence, with your eyes closed, trying to relax as much as possible;

  • try to curb the excitement - graduates often “lose points” not from ignorance of the material, but simply from being nervous;

  • manage the time allotted for the exam wisely.

The duration of the exam in the Russian language is 3.5 hours. Reserve half an hour to check the finished task, distribute the rest of the time between three blocks of tasks. For example, allocate 45 minutes for each of the two blocks of tasks with short answers, leaving an hour and a half for the essay.

Within the allotted time, work with each part of the test in the following way:

  • use KIMs as a draft,

  • if, after reading the question, you understand that you know this material - immediately find the correct answer, write down and mark the task with a plus;

  • if you need to seriously think about a question - do not “hang” over it right now, mark it with a question mark and immediately move on to the next one;

  • if you have no idea how to do this task at all, mark it with a minus and proceed to the next one;

  • after you have reached the end of the block, return to the tasks marked with a question mark and work on them, moving from the easiest to the most difficult topics for you;

  • if there is time left, try to “take” the questions you marked with a minus;

  • five to seven minutes before the end of the time limit that you have given yourself, start transferring the answers to the form;

  • when filling out the form, write letters and numbers clearly according to the model, check the correctness of your own answers;

  • do not leave empty lines - if you still have tasks marked with a "minus" - enter the answer at random, there is always a chance to "hit";

  • after the answer sheet is completed, proceed to the next block of questions;

  • if you have time at the end of the exam, you can rethink the "doubtful" answers, choose other options and write them in the field of the form intended for corrections.

“Split” the time allotted for work on the essay, allocating half the time for writing a draft, and half for rewriting it on a form. The basic requirements for work are contained in the text of the KIM, check with it if necessary. It is critically important when working on an essay to observe three conditions:

  • correctly identify the problem raised by the author,

  • write a text of sufficient length (at least 150 words),

  • have time to completely rewrite the essay on the form, because drafts are not checked.

When writing, try to adhere to the plan of the essay: first, the formulation of the problem, then a comment on it, the point of view of the author of the text, your own position, argumentation and conclusion. Do not forget that when selecting arguments from literature, it is not necessary to be limited to the school curriculum; you can use material from other works. Avoid long and complex sentences - it is easy to make a punctuation mistake in them.

If, when rewriting the essay for a clean copy or checking it, you notice any shortcomings or decide to change the wording, you can cross out a few words directly on the form, points are not deducted for “blots”. However, it is better to write clearly and legibly.

After the work is completed, carefully re-read the essay from beginning to end and correct any errors found. If there is still time left before the end of the exam, go back to the short answer part and work on the questions that you did not have time to answer in the first half of the exam. Now you can already think about them without the risk of not having time to complete the work.
