How to proceed: step-by-step instructions

We offer a step-by-step algorithm of actions.

Step 1. Decide on a university and take the Unified State Exam

You need to choose a direction and find a suitable university. Pay attention to whether there are budget places in the chosen specialty, find out which Unified State Exams you need to take and what the minimum scores are, when to submit documents.

Step 2. Complete the pre-qualification

To do this, you need to submit an application to the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at your place of registration no later than April 20. When enrolling in the command engineering department of the Academy of Civil Defense, an application must be submitted to the military registration and enlistment office at the place of registration before April 1.

After reviewing the documents, you will be sent to undergo a medical examination and psychological examination. If you pass all the parameters, your documents are sent to the university. Next, the admissions committee of the educational institution reviews your personal file and decides whether to admit you to professional selection or not. You must receive a written response - an invitation or an explanation of the reasons for refusal.

Step 3. Pass the professional selection process

Professional selection takes place at the university from July 1 to July 30, the exact dates will be communicated to you. Upon arrival at the educational institution, provide your passport, birth certificate, certificate and documents confirming your special rights and individual achievements.

Please note that enrollment in civilian specialties and paid departments follows a standard pattern, as in regular universities.

Many boys and girls dream of connecting their lives with work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. There are many reasons for this: some are attracted by the opportunity to help their neighbor, others by stability, and still others by a thirst for risk. However, getting the desired position is not so easy, especially today. Therefore, let's talk about how to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

We will find out what requirements a future fighter must meet, whether appropriate education is needed, and what the competition is like. And how to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations after the army.

A little about working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is a special government department that deals with rescue operations in the country. To be more precise, it eliminates the consequences of various disasters, helps rescue victims, neutralizes dangerous objects, and so on.

A person working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations must be prepared for the fact that he will have to face danger face to face every day. And this requires considerable physical and moral endurance, which greatly limits the range of possible candidates for this position.

In addition, this state of affairs led to the fact that the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations began to very carefully check their employees for professional suitability. Therefore, you should be prepared for the fact that you will have to repeatedly prove your strength and endurance, both on the battlefield and in the ranks.

What does it take to get a job at the Ministry of Emergency Situations?

The good news is that there are no gender restrictions in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Therefore, both boys and girls can apply for the position. For ladies, the examination standards are slightly lower, since they are, by nature, slightly weaker than men.

Otherwise, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • complete secondary and higher education;
  • citizenship of the Russian Federation;
  • age from 18 to 40 years.

If you are seriously thinking about how to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, you should remember some restrictions. For example, this position does not accept those who have a criminal record, health problems, or dual citizenship.

Where to go when looking for a job?

So, how to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations? It's actually quite simple. You need to contact the local part of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and find out if they have any vacancies. If there is room, then further events may develop according to the following scenario.

So, the future rescuer will be asked to fill out a resume, after which they will be sent to collect the documents necessary for admission. After all the papers are in hand, he will need to visit the HR department again, where they will be checked for authenticity.

If everything goes well, the candidate will soon be sent for the first certification, during which management will test his mental and physical abilities. And if the applicant passes it, he will be sent to a training camp, where he will master the basic skills of this profession.

Preparation for certification

If you are seriously thinking about how to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, then you need to prepare in advance for the entrance exams.

The first step is to improve your physical performance. Fortunately, today this is not so difficult to do. You just need to sign up for the nearest gym or start going to the sports ground. The main thing is not to delay preparation, so that the body has time to get used to the loads and does not let you down at the most inopportune moment.

You should also devote some time to your future interview. That is, learn to correctly express your thoughts in order to make a good impression on management.

How to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations after the army?

Many are confident that having a military ID guarantees entry into service in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. However, it is not. People with military training take the same tests as other candidates. The exceptions are sappers and field engineers. Such military personnel are taken first of all, since their skills can be very useful when performing rescue operations.

Otherwise, the procedure for hiring former soldiers is no different from the usual one. This means that in this matter you should rely more on your physical training than on your military ID.

Availability of specialized education

When thinking about how to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, one cannot ignore another important issue. Namely: is specialized education necessary?

As mentioned earlier, the required minimum is a certificate confirming completion of high school. However, there is one caveat. To obtain officer ranks, you must have a higher education.

That is, if a person wants to move up the career ladder, sooner or later he will have to graduate from a university. Otherwise, you can get by with a minimum level of education.

Instructions

Recently, competition for places in the Ministry of Emergency Situations has increased. More and more candidates want to join this organization. Due to increased popularity, the requirements have been changed. Candidates who want to become rescuers are concerned about two main issues. Where to find vacant positions in the department and selection on a competitive basis to get a place.

Having arrived on site, the team leader immediately assesses the situation. Each team member is on the orders of the boss. An incorrectly assessed situation and incorrect actions by rescuers threaten the life and health of a large number of people and the life and health of the firefighters themselves.

Each employee has his own assigned function when extinguishing a fire. Someone is unwinding fire hoses, someone is leading people out of a burning building. Among the team there is always a specialist – an electrician. In a burning building, immediately disconnect the electrical power.

While on watch when there is no call, firefighters are engaged in servicing fire extinguishing equipment, as well as equipment. Much attention is paid to maintaining good physical shape of each employee. For this purpose, many fire departments have gyms and sports equipment.

The fire department is equipped with modern communications equipment and a team of dispatchers who respond to calls.

Each member of the fire brigade is provided with protective clothing for firefighting and a special set of equipment that may be required in an emergency.

Increased demands are placed on the health of firefighters. They constantly undergo a medical examination and are checked for good physical fitness and endurance. The lives of all team members are insured, and they are all vaccinated at the expense of the state. Also, increased attention is paid to the character traits of a firefighter, the ability to react clearly and correctly in extreme situations, the ability to make important decisions, analyze and take responsibility.

A fire truck driver is always hired as a high-class driver with extensive experience in driving vehicles.

The profession of firefighter and rescuer is taught in special colleges. You can enter there with a secondary education and good physical health.

At the initial stage, the candidate submits an application, fills out a questionnaire and writes an autobiography (their forms are given in the appendix). Next, he is sent to the head of the structural unit where he is expected to work for an initial interview.

If the candidate passes the interview, he is sent for a medical examination and psychophysiological examination. The information they provided is being verified. If necessary, access to state secrets is granted.

When talking about the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which stands for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, people immediately imagine a rescuer, a person who puts out fires. But the duties of an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations include not only extinguishing fires, but also rescuing people from difficult emergency situations. For example, floods, road accidents, or a tree falling and blocking traffic - all this must be eliminated by a rescuer.

There are even cases when the Ministry of Emergency Situations receives a call for help in removing a helpless kitten from a tree. Often people cannot open the apartment door and call the Ministry of Emergency Situations to break down the door or handle.

First, the lifeguard is at work constantly risks his life. He has to follow the orders of his boss. He puts his life at risk, knowing that his wife and children are waiting at home. But who, if not the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers, will fix the problems and save many lives?

What should a real rescuer be like?

  1. Decisive.
  2. Purposeful.
  3. He is not afraid to risk his life to save another.
  4. Disciplined.
  5. Ability to work in a team, team.
  6. Ability to adapt to uncomfortable conditions.
  7. Excellent physical characteristics.
  8. Ability to react quickly.
  9. Do not engage in amateur activities, but listen to the orders of your boss.
  10. Excellent health.

Advantages of working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations

  • Wage. Since the work of a rescuer is quite difficult, workers receive good wages. This provides life for the family and allows you to go on vacation to take a break from work.
  • The medical unit is considered a federal service, therefore There are no delays in wages. It is paid twice a month. There are also benefits, social benefits, and retirement earlier than in other jobs.
  • Career. If a person starts from a regular acting position, then over time the experience increases and the length of service becomes longer. The employee rises higher in rank and can reach the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
  • Organization over yourself. Every employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, like the military, is obliged to constantly be in the best physical shape. In addition, you need to be collected, clearly know your responsibilities and not panic in emergency situations. A person gets used to this way of life and can no longer live without a schedule and time tracking.
  • Saving Lives. The rescuer, of course, prevents many not only human, but also animal losses. This is incredible happiness and gratitude from relatives and friends.
  • Service to the Motherland. Only a true patriot who will serve his country can work as a rescuer. A person feels proud that he is helping the Fatherland.

Disadvantages of working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations

  • Being a rescuer is, of course, prestigious. But danger awaits everywhere. You can suffocate from smoke during a fire, or a burnt roof collapses and blocks the exit.
  • Secondly, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations flexible schedule. That is, they do not have a clear distribution of time, like office workers. You can’t go home until you’ve done the work. And, perhaps, the rescuer himself will not leave the burning house and go home. If you’ve done the job, go for a walk with confidence. They can also call for an emergency at night.
  • Impact on the psyche. In fact, it is very difficult to often see people's grief and suffering. Even if you are a persistent, “iron” man, you still will not remain indifferent.
  • A lot depends on the decisions of rescuers. There are cases when a false call is received. But even this emergency worker is obliged to respond. After all, it’s not clear on the phone whether it’s a false call or not. And if suddenly the rescuer considers the call to be false, but it is in fact true, then people will sue, and the employee may be fired.

Features of work

A special feature of working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is that rescuers must work not only within the city, but also outside it. For example, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are looking for a person lost in the forest. Rescuers also go to the sites of natural and social disasters. If an accident occurs and there are not enough workers in the locality, then rescuers from other regions and cities come to help.

Every year you can see on TV or hear on the radio that in the spring, while fishing, an ice floe broke off, leaving a large number of fishermen on it. And so, rescuers are coming to the rescue again. They float to the ice floe in inflatable boats and carefully, one by one, take people ashore.

It may also be that because of the flood, people cannot leave their house, because everything around them is flooded with water. Then the rescuers, again, sail in boats and evacuate the victims.

In theory, not every man can become a rescuer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. This requires not only excellent physical training, endurance, strong character, determination, but also intelligence and quick thinking. You need to be able to quickly get to the point, understand the scope of the work and start doing it. And for a woman this work is doubly difficult. Or you can even say that it is not suitable for the female sex, because girls are emotionally and spiritually weaker than the opposite sex.

The mistake of some rescuers is amateur performance. These are, of course, isolated cases, but still. The rescuer, without listening to the boss’s order, begins to complete the task. This can lead to failure and death. In this case, the employee will not go unpunished.

Honored workers and those who deserve praise are awarded state awards. This is done by the president of the country. But the best reward is, undoubtedly, saving a life.

To summarize, we can say that work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is very difficult. Unfortunately, accidents happen every day all over the world. And who else but a rescuer comes to the rescue? Despite everything, he moves forward without stopping, because every second is precious. There are cases when it was not possible to save a person, which is very sad. And the rescuer feels, experiences, empathizes. But you can’t give in to emotions, because there is still a question of someone’s life or even society ahead.
