Model of a multi-storey building made of paper for children. Cozy cardboard house: crafting with children

The idea to build a cottage is just great, but how it will look in reality. Yes, you can look at the computer monitor and in the magazines and catalogs of architects.

It became very interesting, so I propose to experiment a little and feel like an architect and build a model of a cottage on our own. This, of course, is not as laborious and difficult as with a real cottage, but enough work will have to be invested. But this process will be a very rewarding experience, it will become clear later why.

We need things like this:

  • pencil,
  • marker,
  • scissors,
  • compass,
  • stationery knife,
  • protractor,
  • ruler,
  • thick and regular cardboard,
  • paper,
  • PVA glue,
  • polymer glue universal,
  • Scotch,
  • polystyrene ceiling tiles.

Instructions for action

The method of creating a layout is quite simple and interesting. To begin with, we draw a floor plan on cardboard and coat two tiles with polymer glue and lay a sheet of paper between them and glue them together, as a result, a model of three layers comes out: tile, paper, tile. A very reliable thing turns out.

Having estimated how high the cottage will be (dummy size), we cut our tiles into strips the size of a floor. We immediately cut through windows and doors and make cutouts for connections. We glue the tiles with polymer glue, this process will pass without difficulty, the glue sticks together without problems. To strengthen the structure at the corners of the tiles, you can glue paper strips. Also, to strengthen the frame of the cottage layout, it is enough to glue the floor onto cardboard. It will be stronger and more stable, which will allow you to easily attach the second floor of the planned cottage.

Walls that are not at a right angle, do this:

  • mark the corners, but do not cut to the end;
  • carefully cut the foam tile on both sides, trying not to cut the paper;
  • from the inside of the bend of the walls at the corner of the wall we cut out the foam.

All the manipulations carried out with the blanks under the walls of the cottage layout allow you to bend the foam without difficulty. It is best to do each floor separately, and then fasten together. It is desirable to cut the roof from the ceiling tiles and glue it with polymer glue. After receiving the result, in the form of a layout, it is enough to paste over the elements of the cottage with colored paper in accordance with the author's idea.

What was intended

First of all, we determined the scale of a real cottage and determined the size of the layout. It turned out that, in three centimeters of the layout, there will be 1 meter of a real house. We apply a floor plan with the appropriate dimensions on a dense cardboard. It should be noted that these plans will be used in the construction of this cottage.

By gluing the tiles, they laid paper and thereby achieved the strength of the future walls of the layout. You should be careful with polymer glue, do not overdo it so that it does not crawl out of the edges, and it is aesthetically pleasing, besides, areas with a thick layer of glue are difficult to cut the panels.

The layout is not made in full height, but from pieces of foam of the required length. At the joints at one of the pieces, a groove was cut out from below, and the next one was marked with a groove from above and put together like a designer. The best option would be to make grooves from the edges and in the middle. For strength on PVA glue, we glue paper. The strength turned out to be small, and gluing cardboard the size of the foundation became the best option. Gluing with polymer glue is best.

After such reinforcements, no mechanical damage is terrible, even a fall keeps the glued parts together. You can even try to quit, checked, it will not fall apart. It is better to immediately cut out all the holes that are planned on the plan of the house on the details of the layout, and then glue them together. This is much more convenient than cutting through windows and doors on a finished model of a cottage-type house.

The first floor of the future cottage

We determine the size and, using the experience of creating a foundation, we introduce, in the same way of gluing and joining, for the walls of the first floor. In the idea there is a winter garden, we create walls in this way - carefully cutting the foam, without touching the paper, we create walls by cutting the foam from the inside at an angle. It so happened that the parts are held on paper, they are very easy and convenient to bend.

Attic

The idea did not quite come true, the attic that was invented did not work out as it was wanted, so it grew into a full-fledged second floor. When the plastic tiles ran out, and I had to buy more. These tiles turned out to be of a different quality, much better. There was no characteristic foam structure and it turned out to be more convenient to work with, the only thing that was wrong was the size, they turned out to be much thinner. But there is already glue, which is simply not replaceable, it turned out, everything was glued together with a thin layer of glue and it turned out great. These panels were able to be cut much faster and easier, the pellets held together.

Created a roof

In order for our roof to hold and be beautiful, we should put a couple of pieces of foam in the middle of the model and glue another one across them. The ridge of the roof came out, in the form of the letter P. We cut out the planes for the roof from cardboard and glue it with adhesive tape. For the winter garden, we also build a roof from cardboard and put it on thin beams. The roof over the garage is designed to be warm, so it is better to use thick cardboard or foam sheet. It turns out that everything is in accordance with the planned plan of the house, although some details of the cottage had to be replaced, rather than replaced, but to revise the constructive solutions to the issue.

It’s even very good that they decided to make a model of a cottage. According to the degree of creation of the layout, some, not immediately obvious, nuances of building a real cottage become clear. The layout allows you to analyze whether the rooms are conveniently located, to realize which roof is more suitable, and to come up with something new, for example, the location of the balcony. In subsequent experiments with design inside and outside the house, the layout will undoubtedly come in handy.

The activity was interesting and useful. This, of course, is not a super model developed by architects in a specialized program on a computer. But the visual aid is very good. Then you can give the children a dollhouse, that's who, and they will be satisfied with such a masterpiece.

Ready templates

Creating a layout takes only a few minutes - with the help of shapes and segments, you draw rooms and interior partitions on the grid, increasing or decreasing the area of \u200b\u200bthe site if necessary. If your home has a typical layout, whether it's "stalinka", "brezhnevka" or "khrushchev", the creation of the project will be even faster. The program offers a collection of ready-made apartment plans that you can apply in just one click. The downloaded template will no longer require the drawing of rooms, you will only have to decorate the rooms and furnish them with furniture.

However, if the apartment and house are slightly different from typical buildings, to simplify the task, you can take one of the ready-made schemes as a basis and simply adjust the size and shape of the rooms.

If you have a house layout drawing on hand, scan it and upload the resulting image to the editor. Next, you just need to circle each room - and the layout is ready!

Stylish design for every taste and budget

The choice of interior items for the future home should be approached with intelligence and practicality. Will the furniture look harmonious or, conversely, “clutter up” the space, will wallpaper with an active print fit, or is it better to limit yourself to discreet monochromatic models. In these matters, the house design program is indispensable.

Many turn to the services of professionals, investing serious amounts of money, but often the result does not meet expectations at all. By downloading "Interior Design 3D", you will have the opportunity to equip a virtual apartment with your own hands, exactly following your own vision.

At your disposal is a convenient catalog of furniture and finishing materials. For convenience, the objects are sorted into categories - a set of basic pieces of furniture has been pre-assembled for each type of room. Bed, wardrobe, dressing table - in the bedroom, table, armchair, sofa - in the living room, and refrigerator, stove and dining table - in the kitchen. You just need to go to the appropriate tab, select the desired element and place it on the diagram.

For each piece of furniture you can choose the material and color. Determine the type of wood for cabinets and tables, the type of upholstery for sofas, armchairs and chairs. The customization is so detailed that you decide how even the smallest element, like a doorknob, will look.

The possibilities of the program do not end with the design of furniture. You can also design walls, floors and ceilings according to your taste and budget. Each room has its own settings. For the walls of the bedroom and living room, you can choose stylish wallpaper from the catalog, for the kitchen and bathroom - tiles or bricks.

Convenient document saving and printing

By default, the program exports all data to a project, which you can later reopen and edit. You can save the resulting cottage interior design as a picture or print it out if you have a printer. On the page, you can simultaneously place a two-dimensional layout and a 3D model, or print each scene separately. The display of dimensions on the diagrams, the type and size of paper, the position of the scene on the sheet, you adjust manually.

As you can see, with a convenient program, 3D house design is no longer difficult. Download "Interior Design 3D" and save on expensive professional services.

Do-it-yourself house model: scheme, manufacturing. How to make a house layout with your own hands?

The layout of the house and its architectural model - how do they differ? The first can be made from available materials: paper, cardboard or wood. It does not have to repeat the forms of a particular structure. The architecture of the building can be anything, as long as you and others like the result of your creativity.

An architectural model is an exact copy of a building with the repetition of all the main and secondary features. It is built with expensive materials and can take months of hard work to complete. Therefore, we propose to start building a model of a house from improvised materials. Don't know how? In this article you will find recommendations and detailed instructions on how to make a DIY house layout from paper, cardboard and wood.

Miniature paper house

The paper house layout, the diagram of which is attached in this article, is a simple construction, although the work on its creation can be an interesting creative process that requires attention and perseverance. You will need thick paper, newsprint or packaging will not work.

It is better to take a standard A4 sheet measuring 29x21 cm. If the contours of your future home do not fit into the size of the sheet, you can glue two together using the "butt-to-butt" method with an overlay of a strip 2 centimeters wide. After the workpiece of the desired size is obtained, it is necessary to make markings. We propose to build a model of a house made of paper, which will be rectangular in plan, two-story, with three doors, windows and a gable roof.

Drawing

First of all, we recommend copying our diagram, which you see in the photo, in order to indicate the dimensions of the future building. Then you need to decide what the layout will have the length and width. Write these numbers on the chart. Next, determine the height of the first and second floors, as well as the roof. Now you can transfer the resulting drawing to the base sheet using a ruler and a pencil, measuring all the parameters of the future home. The next step is to draw windows and doors. Their location can be changed as you like, relying on your taste. A paper house model allows you to make structural changes at any stage of construction.

Layout assembly

The next step is to draw all the "wings" that you see in the diagram. They will act as mounting brackets when assembling the layout, support the roof and connect the walls. This is followed by the most critical part of the work, requiring accuracy and attention. Go through all the lines of the drawing with a ballpoint pen along the ruler and with pressure. This is done so that you can bend the paper in the right place.

A paper house layout requires precise fold lines. After all the boundaries are drawn, you can cut out windows and doors with scissors, as well as "wings". The next crucial moment: it is necessary to correctly bend the entire structure and glue it in the right places. For this we recommend PVA glue. When the layout is dry, you can start coloring.

Cardboard house layout

Such buildings are made not only from paper. A do-it-yourself house model can also be made from cardboard, a material strong enough to make the building look "real", with opening doors, windows, floors and ceilings, interior decoration, and even inhabitants sitting inside on miniature sofas and chairs.

It all depends on how much the "builder" is interested in the end result. He can build any layout of the house with his own hands. However, its implementation is a complex creative process that requires accuracy and perseverance. You will need the usual tool: scissors, a clerical retractable knife, an awl, a ruler (preferably metal) and PVA glue.

Corrugation as the main material

It is better to take two types of cardboard for making a layout: smooth and corrugated three-layer. The second will go to the load-bearing walls, floor and ceiling, and the first - to make a corner for connecting individual parts of the structure, small details of the exterior and interior design. A cardboard house layout needs a base. This can be a plate glued from two layers of corrugation or cut from plywood. The base or sole of the layout is drawn according to the size of the future home and can be filled with decorative miniature flower beds, garden vases, and benches.

Next, you need to draw on the basis of the layout of the walls, porch and outbuildings. After that, you can begin to manufacture the main details: walls with cut out door and window openings, the ceiling and floor of the second floor (if the house is two-story). To assemble the structure, it is necessary to prepare corners from thin smooth cardboard. The longer the corner, the stronger the connection. Optimally, its length should be at least 70% of the length of the connection. The width of the cardboard corner is 1.5-2.0 cm.

wooden house model

A do-it-yourself model of a house made of wood can only be made with the participation of adults, since the work is related to woodworking machines for home use. They are quite dangerous if there are no working skills. Hand tools for woodworking also require caution when working with them. The blades of knives, planers, nail files and engravers have sharply sharpened cutting edges.

blanks

Do-it-yourself models of wooden houses require accuracy in the process of work. Their creation is an exciting creative activity, during which the master can show ingenuity and ingenuity. First you need to make a drawing of the future house. Then make the base for the layout. After that, you can start creating details.

Walls and floors are best made from thin boards 1.5-2.0 centimeters wide and 5.0-7.0 mm thick. The workpieces are located on a flat surface close to each other and are fastened with the same rails, which are superimposed perpendicularly from above and pressed by some kind of load. Previously, all parts are coated with PVA glue. After the manufactured block dries, it can be customized according to the drawing and joined with other parts.

Finishing

The assembled layout must be sanded and sanded. This is done manually with a 25-N glass cloth on a fabric basis. Then the surfaces are sanded clean with 8-H sandpaper until completely smooth. After processing, the layout can be painted, doors installed, windows inserted and finishing work done.

A do-it-yourself model of a house, as a rule, has a removable roof. This is necessary in order to have free access to the interior, since in a miniature building you will have to install toy furniture and other interior items. The surface of the walls is pasted over with "wallpaper", that is, with painted strips of paper. The floor must be painted brown or covered with linoleum - it can be made from oilcloth.

Once it was necessary to make a model of a very complex and beautiful house. On a scale of 1:50.

And so, what if modelers from the UAE accidentally arrive in Chelyabinsk (whose work was admired by our customer). and see our work, so that they immediately die of envy.

We looked at the sketch of the future handsome house, and realized that we would make sure that our colleagues from the Emirates did not return home ...

And we suddenly made an ambitious decision - to achieve such a degree of detail so as not to make in a real layout only those elements that, if the house was reduced by 50 times, would look less than one millimeter.

ONE MILLIMETER - you heard right! Everything that is 2 mm in size and more - we decided to do it.

So… Meet the layout of the house Fenix De LUX!

First, it was a month of work for our engineer Kostya, building a building in AutoCAD, breaking down the elements of the house into more than 4000 elements, translating files into a language understandable to our laser and milling cutter, and then ...

… and then Beauty began to be born. That's right - with a capital "K".

By the way, only the bindings here are made with film, everything else is plastic. Coloring - airbrush.

This work, amazing in its thoroughness and accuracy, was carried out by our ... lawyer Victor!

Do-it-yourself cardboard house layout

Since childhood, he loved to collect models, he is still fond of it, but he has not yet solved such a complex and huge task with several thousand components ...

Pay attention - all the elements are of different colors, they were all painted separately by hand, only the wall of the house is a print of the “bricks” pattern.

Cornices (!) Began to appear on the balconies.

We put together two walls, we admire. The imagination completes everything that should appear in two months ...

The balconies have railings, and the windows are getting lattices (there are 300 of them in the house) made of plastic!

Slowly, the facades of the house are taking shape.

The house acquires a supporting part - a stillabat, and a two-story penthouse slowly began to emerge.

In the meantime, stillabate wall blanks are being made with might and main.

The walls acquire their brothers - and the house becomes voluminous. The degree of detailing silences the most chatty guests of our assembly area, looking at the masterpiece.

All the same, but closer.

And here is the stillabate, located on a site that embodies the boundaries of the red line of the building.

Notice the balustrade on the base, the columns in the penthouse.

Another angle, it is impossible to stop when photographing this man-made miracle!

Here is the final assembly step.

There is a bicycle near the sandbox, there are benches, and all the lights really glow!

We haven't seen the penthouse yet.

I wonder who will live in it? After all, this two-story penthouse is only for two owners (as in Soviet-era houses - to the left and right of the house along the porch :))!

Please note that the residents of the first floors also receive at their disposal a part of the stillabat - the plots are delimited by fences.

It is clear that it is impossible to resist the temptation to touch the beauty - we put protective glasses around the perimeter of our creation. Yes, please note that the foundation on which the house is built has an uneven landscape in the context - everything is as it will be in life.

The windows of several apartments, overlooking all four sides, a penthouse and a playground near the house are lit in the house.

And we say goodbye to the result of our painstaking three-month work.

Well, what can I say ... Now our colleagues from the UAE are better off not coming to Chelyabinsk!

Templates of multi-storey buildings made of paper for the layout. Paper house layout with a diagram, cut and glue

7 890

22.12.2014

Of course, the main highlight will not be the material of the house, but its style. Let's make a number of houses and from them we will create a game ghost town.

We will need:

  1. White paper.
  2. Pencil, ruler.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Glue.
  5. Black marker or black paper.
  6. Print template (PDF)
  7. Check out our ideas for kids there

Our city will gain ghosts due to the location of windows and doorways, I explain: on the wall of the house there are two windows and a door, located so that they resemble a face in shape (windows - eyes, house - mouth). The house is watching you. Moreover, the shapes of windows and doors can and should vary in shape, and houses vary slightly in size, color and shape of the roof.

In principle, templates can be found on the Internet and printed. Can be made by yourself.

On a sheet of white paper, we draw a rectangle, its length is equal to the length of the perimeter of the future building, and the height is the height of the house, excluding the roof. If you don’t want to calculate the dimensions simply, first draw a rectangle 16 cm long and 5 centimeters high in the middle of a sheet of landscape paper. Divide it with vertical lines along the long side into four equal rectangles. Then, to the second rectangle from the left (this is the facade), draw a triangle on one free side, the side of the rectangle is the base of the triangle, and the top looks towards the opposite side (the triangle is the end side of the roof).

And on the other free side, we add another rectangle to the second rectangle from the left. Its height will be equal to the width of the first rectangle on the left (this is the bottom of our house). To the third rectangle on the left, add a rectangle with a height equal to the length of the two sides of the triangle (these are the sides of the roof), and draw it on the same side as the triangle. On the last, counting from the left, rectangle, draw a triangle (the size is the same as the previous one, the display is mirrored if it is not equilateral).

You can draw a truncated triangle instead of triangles, then the height of the sides of the roof is equal to the sum of the lengths of the sides of the truncated triangle, plus the length of the smaller base. Now it remains to finish the flaps from the outside, so that the house can be folded and glued. Cut out the layout.

We will bend the voluminous paper house, inward relative to the drawn lines, so that they are not visible on the facade. First, draw or paste the windows and take them.

The principle is clear, we make different houses, and play.

This is an instruction on how to make a paper house with your own hands for kids! Hopefully it won't take them long. Note: The parts for these toy houses will need to be cut out of construction paper, so it's best if an adult cuts them out, not a child.

Making a paper house with your own hands

Ideas:

Color the parts of the houses before putting them together. You can draw a door frame around and windows. You can stick cellophane inside the window. You can draw shingles on the roof. Or add windows or even two, and maybe doors.

You can add people and animals. Create your own home. Make a church, a school, a hospital. Or maybe even make an entire village.

You can make a green base to simulate grass. Create your own streets.

New Year's version of decorating a paper house

If you make a small town with a huge number of such houses, could you put a photo of it on the site so that I can look at it?

NOTE: My templates are not very good, but everything is perfectly clear from them. You can download and print templates. If you can print them on heavy paper that will be great, but if not, you will have to transfer the drawing from the printout to heavy paper.

You can also download all templates for buildings 1 - 5 in one ZIP file listed just below house number 5. You can also download all templates for buildings 6 - 8 in one ZIP file listed just below house number 8.

General instructions

After you have cut out all the pieces, use a ballpoint pen to transfer all the lines indicating the folds, including the places for the hinges on the doors, and leave the doors open. Then glue them together. It is better to take quick-drying glue. If you are making a heavy paper house with some kind of pattern on it, make sure the pattern is on the inside of the house so that it is not visible.

To hold the pieces together until the glue dries, you can use a few staples, old ones will also work.

1. We will start with the simplest projects and move on to the most complex houses. Let's start very simple garage:

2. This one garage slightly larger, designed for two cars:

You only need 2 parts for it, the floor/walls and the roof. Press here for template

3. Now let's move on to our first home:

4.Next House very similar to the previous one, but it is a bit longer:

You only need 2 parts for it.

Press here for the roof.

Please note that you will need duct tape to hold some of the pieces together. When gluing the roof to the house, hold the roof upside down in your hand and lower the house onto it to make sure it is centered.

5. And second house not much more complicated, it has a chimney going through a hole in the roof:

You only need 3 parts for it.

Press here for a floor/wall template and click HERE for the roof.

6. This house is a little more complicated - a multi-level house:

You need 4 pieces for it.

and for lower walls and two roofs click HERE

This house is quite complex! Watch carefully where you cut the pieces.

7. The complexity of this house lies in the roof and "L" shaped floor.

You will need 6 parts for it.

For floor/wall templates click .

For Roof/Canopy/Chimney Roof Templates click HERE

For canopy / optional roof templates for the rear click HERE

This house is not for beginners!

8. The last house with an unusual roof, canopy and chimney (very similar to the one above).

You will need 6 parts for it:

For floor/wall templates click HERE

For roof, chimney, gabled roof templates click HERE

For canopy and roof templates: click HERE

Be careful with the canopy; mark each end of the house to which it will be attached. In addition, it is inconvenient to install a gabled roof over the main roof. I suggest cutting off the two glued parts of the gabled roof and reattaching them with duct tape on the back.

Surely many parents are familiar with the problem: the better to keep the child busy, how to tear him away from the computer or TV. A good option is a walk, but if the weather does not work out, then it immediately disappears. Your attention is presented to a fascinating activity that will help your child pass a couple of cold winter evenings. The main thing is that for this you do not need to spend a large amount of money on toys. You only need to download one file and print it. As you can see, everything is quite simple.

We offer an entertaining game - the designer, which will provide you with a couple of hours of peace while the baby is busy building. It is better join him, because you have to deal with glue. Such a wonderful time will only bring you closer to your child. Help him build his dream house! In general, the game is intended for children from three years old under adult supervision. However, it is also suitable for children of primary school age. In the latter case, you can afford a couple of hours of rest. But do not rush to deny yourself such an entertaining pleasure.

For a child, the game will be useful, because you need to glue everything according to the instructions. It develops thinking, imagination and motor skills of the hands. You will need paper, scissors, cardboard, glue and, of course, paints. It is better to take, for example, PVA, and glue - a pencil. The latter option is much easier to use and will give you a minimum of inconvenience. We just print the downloaded layout of our future home, carefully cut it out and start building.

If you like the process itself, then you can make a whole miniature town by gluing a few more houses together. In fact, this is a great option for the New Year holiday. You can, for example, place your creations under the Christmas tree and put presents there. When you finish building, using ordinary cotton wool, you can create the illusion that snow has fallen in the town. You can settle several residents there or decorate a window sill with this composition, for example. In a word, the construction of such a paper theater will be a great pastime for your baby and, possibly, for you. Such scope for fantasy and imagination will give you a wonderful mood!

Paper is the simplest and most suitable material for a variety of creativity. From the age of three, the child has been paying attention to the rustling leaves and has been engaged in them for a long time and with enthusiasm. As they get older, children do not lose interest in paper and love to make different objects out of it. They are madly happy when adults make crafts with them.

And if you ask a child what he wants to do, most often it turns out that this is a house. Moreover, both boys and girls love to create houses with their own hands. Apparently, children, albeit unconsciously, already perceive the house as the main attribute of life. How to quickly and easily make a house out of paper?

Tools and materials for creating a paper house

When you decide to brighten up a family evening or a child at school is given the task of making such a craft, you will need a little imagination, paper, glue and just a few tools. Paper can be any: thin from color sets, sheets of notebooks or albums, drawing paper (which, by the way, sticks together perfectly) or pieces of wallpaper. You will need scissors, a ruler and a pencil, and sometimes a glue brush.

If you have a clerical knife, it will help you quickly and accurately cut through the windows and doors. Glue will suit the most different: in tubes, PVA glue, wallpaper, glue stick, home-made paste or paper in bottles, adhesive tape. The selection of items to decorate the future house depends on the scope of your imagination with your child. Suitable paints, gouache, colored pencils, beads, cotton wool, lace and other items for applique.

You can engage in magical action at a table, on a wide windowsill or sitting on the floor. As long as the surface is smooth and resistant to glue and scratches (you can put a plank or plywood).

Preparing a sketch of a paper house

When designing a house, small or voluminous, simple or complex, a sketch is first created. Work begins with a drawing. If there are only small sheets for making a larger house, you can cut the drawing along the dotted line and perform each part separately.

When cutting the drawing, remember that the right side will remain without a bend for applying glue and it needs to be drawn. You can add a floor to the sketch of the house. But is it necessary? Without it, it is more convenient for a child to place toys: dishes, furniture, "tenants" of various sizes, and not everything can fit through the door.

Connecting parts, decorating and assembling a paper house

  • Having marked the places of windows and doors, cuts are made (conveniently with a clerical knife) and paper is removed from them. One side of the door is left uncut, and it will remain slightly ajar for now.
  • Now it is better to start decorating the product, after gluing it will be more difficult to do. The child will be happy to paint the house or paste over with suitable colored paper. You can help him attach a latch to the door. To do this, glue a cardboard rectangle to the edge of the door, and provide a jamb with a slot - the house will immediately look more comfortable and reliable. The roof can be decorated with tiles by cutting "tiles" from suitable paper.
  • Then parts of the house are cut out and “construction” begins, smearing and gluing special bends.
    The product will take some time to dry.
    The new building lacks stability - it is better to install and glue it on a cardboard frame.

    The design of the house can be complicated by adding an extension, a porch, an attic, a second floor, a balcony and other elements. The stages of work remain the same: creating a sketch - cutting out details - decor - gluing - drying.

    Other options for paper houses

    Round houses are made of paper very interesting.
    When creating a sketch, the body of this design looks like a solid long rectangle. The craft is glued in one fold. And the roof is often drawn separately in the form of a circle, then it is trimmed and connected to the body with glue.

    But it is also possible to build a drawing in unity with the roof. Then many cuts are made for the roof, which can then be glued together with an overlap, creating a conical shape.

    With great enthusiasm, children make fabulous "log" huts.
    The materials for work are the same, but the technology for building such a house is completely different. Here, first, building materials are harvested. Tubes - “logs” are made from identical long paper rectangles with a pencil.

    Whether it will be a small house or a voluminous house depends on the size and number of rolled tubes. Usually the guys compete with adults or among themselves, who will roll or glue more.

    Then the walls are neatly folded from the finished material. There are options here: the walls are glued with gaps, where there are two logs in a row, or a continuous masonry of four tubes is glued with their displacement to the edges in the next row. The roof of the house can be "log" or smooth.

    Save the diagram to your computer and print it out.

    How to make an origami paper house

    The creation of origami figures, including houses, according to ready-made schemes, serves to develop the child’s logical and spatial thinking, to activate his thought processes. You can do origami anywhere, for example, in line to the doctor.

    Having created the first simple paper houses with your own hands, you can come up with many others unusually and often make them together with your beloved child.

    Gingerbread house. paper model

    Gingerbread house . paper model

    Developer: Canon
    Format: pdf
    Language: English

    The creation of miniature models (models) of buildings is usually done by architects. Before you start building a house or an entire residential complex, you first need to make a sample of it on a scale (photo). Real architects make models from PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and cut out details for future buildings on a special milling machine, which is given a specific computer program.

    In your future home, you will definitely need a waste disposal system. This is where slurry pumps come in handy. We did not write about this, not quite our profile, but we found an excellent article with reviews of the best manufacturers of slurry pumps. Read for health!

    Such a machine is able not only to cut out microscopic details with jeweler's precision, but also to apply a section on their surface that imitates brickwork or other coating. Due to this, the maximum reliability of the layout is achieved. The machine cuts tiny windows, doors and other details. After that, the architect connects them together using a solvent that melts the edges of the PVC plates and tightly fastens them to each other.

    All the same can be done at home, but only without a milling machine, PVC and solvent, but with the help of cardboard, paper, PVA glue and scissors. The production technology is very similar to that used by the pros. The difference lies only in the materials and, of course, the quality of the layout produced in this way.

    But if you really try hard, you can make a paper building no worse than what an architect creates with a high-tech milling machine. So, how to make a do-it-yourself home layout using a basic set of stationery?

    What do you need to work

    To make a house layout, you will need the following tools:
    thick white / color paper A4 (several sheets);
    cardboard of the same size;
    a sharp construction knife (it is convenient for them to cut the walls of the building, and then cut small windows and doors into them);
    brush for glue;
    PVA glue;
    a wooden or plastic board for modeling (it is convenient to cut out details on it so as not to damage the table);
    scissors;
    pencil;
    ruler.

    You can also use a regular household hair dryer to quickly dry the glued parts. You can cut a building out of both paper and cardboard. The latter option is more reliable, but a little more difficult to work with. You can cut the entire layout out of paper, and then fix it on several “bearing” cardboard walls (photo). This will strengthen the entire structure and give it more stability.

    Creating a scheme of the future building

    There are two ways to create the walls of a future building. For the first, such a scheme is used, as in the photo below. This is literally the whole building completely, but in a turn. The adjacent walls can be made together and not cut. They will just need to be bent later, forming the corners of the building.

    Immediately mark the location of future windows. They must be on the same level. Do not forget to leave small indents on the sides and bottom of the walls, as in the diagram. After that, with their help, it will be possible to connect the parts of the structure to each other. The whole building should be made to scale so that in the future the walls, roof and other parts of the house are proportional.

    Making a layout: method 1

    After the whole scheme is drawn on paper, all that remains is to cut out the future building, bend the lines marked with a blue dotted line and cut through the windows with a construction knife. Use a modeling board. On it, cut out parts from cardboard, and then glue them much more conveniently.
    The scheme shown in the photo above is suitable for the production of the simplest houses. A more complex design will literally have to be made up of several parts. By the way, the layout can also be made opening (so that you can see the interior of the house). It is by this principle that children's houses for dolls are made, which can be purchased at the store.

    To make such a layout (photo), it is advisable to use the thickest cardboard that you can find. In order for part of the wall to open, an appropriate mount is used (this can be found in old Soviet-made caskets) or simply a piece of cardboard bent in half. In the same way, you can make doors open.

    Method 2

    The second method is suitable for the production of building models of more complex configurations (photo).

    First, a sheet of paper needs to be folded with an accordion, as in the photo. The more folds, the more walls will turn out, but their width will be, accordingly, less. On one fold, you need to draw ½ of the facade of the building. We draw very carefully, with a thick line outlining the places of the cut, and with a thin line, outlining the places of the fold of the paper.

    Then cut along the thick lines and unfold the accordion. The result is a whole facade, absolutely proportional and even as in a mirror image. We bend the paper holders as in the photo and cut through the windows with a construction knife.

    After that, the parts of the structure are assembled together, smeared with glue at the joints and glued together. From cardboard we make the base for the layout. When the whole building is ready, you can paint it with paints or stick some images (as in the photo).

    Making trees and grass

    To make the layout look more authentic and to be able to visually assess its scale, it is advisable to decorate the cardboard stand with greenery: grass and trees. This will require:
    can of green paint;
    acrylic paint of several green shades;
    dried twigs (dead wood);
    a piece of foam rubber;
    glue;
    awl;
    paint brush.

    First, in any unnecessary container, several tones of green acrylic paint (dark and light to achieve the maximum authenticity effect) should be mixed. After that, you need to cut the foam rubber into small pieces and soak them properly with this paint. When the foam is colored, leave it to dry for a day.

    We cut the dried foam rubber into such small pieces that they literally resemble crumbs. She will be our herb. After that, we paint the cardboard stand well several times with greenery, and when the paint dries, cover it with a thick layer of glue. Pour green foam crumbs on wet glue in random order. The grass is ready.

    When the glue is completely dry, several holes need to be made in the cardboard base with an awl. Be very careful not to damage the entire layout. We paint dry branches with green spray paint and stick them into the holes in the stand. Now the trees have taken their place. Thanks to all this vegetation, our paper building model looks more realistic.

    You can build a cardboard house with your own hands, without making much effort. The designs can be different - this is a dollhouse, and a garage or parking lot for toy cars. Children will be delighted to participate in joint creativity. After all, the process of making crafts in the form of a hut is fascinating.

    At the same time, you can create a cozy cardboard nest that will fit a small fidget.

    How to make a craft with your own hands

    By taking a little time to work together with children and giving free rein to your imagination, you can build many original structures. And how to do this, we will tell further.

    New Year's hut

    When making crafts, you need to focus on the schemes and patterns of cardboard houses. After you choose the most suitable option, you should transfer the markup to the workpiece. Well, then there is nothing complicated:

    Cut out the details from a white sheet of paper according to the template and stick them in the prescribed sequence on cardboard. You can use glue or double-sided tape.

    All cardboard parts are carefully cut out. For the arrangement of windows and doors, you should use a clerical knife.

    Adhering to the traced folds, bend the workpiece and glue the structure. For strength, a primer can be applied to the house.

    The hut should be painted and decorated, for example, the roof is often sprinkled with sparkles. Having attached a rope to the structure, the hut is used as a Christmas tree decoration.

    Cardboard and foam house

    This option is more labor intensive. But our instructions on how to make a house out of cardboard will help you quickly cope with the design.

    Take a regular cardboard box. The size is selected individually. A house is being built from it - you need to cut the necessary parts and glue them together. After window and door openings are drawn on the structure, they should be cut out with a clerical knife.

    The hut can be decorated or pasted over with colored paper. But decoration with polyurethane foam will look more original. It is applied in strips, leaving 3-4 mm gaps between them for swelling. The foam will dry in 30-40 minutes.

    In the meantime, you can build a stand:

    • cut a piece of cardboard in the form of a rectangle with an area slightly larger than the base of the house;
    • glue the stand to the frame of the building;
    • imitate snow with foam or cotton wool glued with PVA to the stand.

    Excess foam from the craft is cut off with a knife, and then the structural elements are painted in the selected color scheme.

    Home for gnomes

    The task can be simplified if you use existing blanks, for example, cylinders from toilet paper rolls. In order for the composition to be original and attractive, as in the photo of a cardboard house, you need to be patient. You can take 2-3 cylinders and cut into two parts so that you get parts of different lengths.

    Then cut out paper strips. Their length will be about 150 mm, and the width is 15-30 mm more than the height of the cylinder used as a house. Windows and doors are cut out of colored paper and glued to a white strip.

    The cardboard cylinder should be wrapped with paper with windows, having previously applied an adhesive mass to the surface. The edges of the paper that go beyond the cardboard are wrapped inside. From colored paper, you need to make cones that will serve as a roof. They are glued to the cylinders. The village for the gnomes is ready.

    House in the hands of a child

    Many are interested in how to make a house out of cardboard with their own hands. Even your kid will cope with the proposed technology. Mark your home on white cardboard or print a template from the Internet. The kid himself will be able to cut the entire structure along clear lines.

    For the manufacture of the roof, you should take a rectangle of cardboard suitable for slopes of length and width. This sheet is folded in half and attached to the assembled frame of the house.

    Dollhouse made of cardboard

    If your child asked to make a home for dolls, then you should not immediately run to the garage and start sawing boards.

    Everything can be done much easier - just use our step-by-step instructions for making a house for beginners:

    Take a cardboard box of the right size. For example, it can be packaging for parcels or from household appliances. Open it up and down.

    The two small side pieces on top are cut off so that triangles are obtained on both sides, pointing upwards. The triangles on top are aligned vertically, and the longitudinal long elements of the cover are attached to them with glue or tape, forming the lower part of the roof slope.

    It is not always possible to completely form the roof - its top (horse) will remain open. You can solve this problem by cutting off the lids from the bottom of the box. The longitudinal elements are attached to each other in the form of a hut and are fixed to the already constructed part of the roof. As a result, the roof ridge will be built. The main thing here is to make all measurements and fasten, observing the joints.

    Windows and a door appear on the walls of the house, which are then cut through with a knife. The roof can be painted in the form of tiles, and the walls can be painted in the preferred color.

    Cozy house for children

    It is possible to make a structure in which a child can fit from an ordinary cardboard box from under large-sized household appliances.

    It is desirable that the height of the walls be at least 1-1.5 m for a comfortable stay of the child. If this option is difficult for you to choose, then a cardboard house for children can be made from two boxes interconnected with tape.

    The top cover must be tightly closed and the joints secured with adhesive tape. A sheet of thick boxboard is placed on top to strengthen the structure. The roof can be made in several ways:

    By fastening two rectangles of cardboard - this is how the roof slopes are obtained. If you make them with a slight launch beyond the walls of the house, you get a stronger mount.

    Rafters are mounted on top. They are made of two crossed plastic pipes of small diameter. They are attached to the house at the corners of the structure. A piece of a wide pipe should be placed in the middle so that the rafters do not bend. A light blanket or blanket is laid over the rafters.

    Building a house for dolls, decorating a Christmas tree or having fun for a child is quite simple. This requires the use of available material. The participation of the child in the design will help you show your imagination to the maximum together and keep the baby busy with exciting work.
