“Any person who has spent a long time in the Church gradually develops a certain circle of “their” saints,” explains Father Maxim. “And naturally, the first impulse will be to pray to them.” There is one more circumstance that influences the choice: the earth is full of rumors, someone heard something, someone themselves experienced a miracle through the prayers of this saint. We can ask any saints for help, including little-known ones. If a person has faith and zeal for the intercession of a particular ascetic, then his prayer may not be in any way connected with the traditional help of this saint. If there is a tradition of praying to the holy Tsar-Passion-Bearer Nicholas for the well-being of our country, which is completely understandable, this does not mean that other miracles through his intercession are impossible.
