Download WinsetupFromusB by choosing the latest version and clicking on the "Download" button. After the program is downloaded to your computer, you need to unzip it (if the archive has been loaded with the program, if you immediately downloaded .exe, you do not need to do anything).

Installing Windows from our flash drive

To install Windows, it is also more convenient to use a USB flash drive (USB port is on any computer!). But for this it needs to be correctly recorded / prepare.

Similar programs are quite a lot. All of them to embrace in one article is an ungrateful matter, and not necessary. I will give below those programs that used (and use) repeatedly when writing their bootable media.

Auxiliary programs
A small free * software to work with images (supports a huge number of different formats: ISO, MDS / MDF, CCD, etc.). After installing this program, you have a virtual drive in "My Computer" (their number can be enlarged) in which you can open any of the images. For a computer, it will not look like that you discovered a real CD / DVD drive in the drive.
In addition to the opening of images, you can also create them from various disks. In general, an indispensable program on a PC (especially with the development and promotion of disk images).

The analogue of Daemon Tools, has the same functions: creating and opening images, support for protected disks, etc. Alcohol 120% pr. - This is a paid version of the program, there is free - Alcohol 52%.
In principle, you can work with both Daemon Tools and Alcohol. The choice is a matter of taste!
Step-by-step creation of the loading flash drive
Windows XP.
Once is one of the most popular OS from Microsoft. Now, of course, its popularity falls and still quite a large number of PC works on this OS. Therefore, I decided to include it in this article ...
WINTOFLASH.
In my opinion the easiest way to write a bootable flash drive with Windows XP is to use the WinToflash utility. The fact is that it has a built-in master who will hold you through all the thorns ... (by the way, the Lite version is for work).
After starting the utility, click on the green check mark (Scrong below) - " Windows installation program wizard on USB".

The next step: you must specify the path to the file image with Windows XP and select a flash drive to which this image will be recorded.
Actually, in the next step, the program will warn you that all information will be removed from the disk and will offer to continue. Agree and wait until all files are copied to the USB flash drive.

This program is somewhat different from the previous one. First, there is no master who will lead you down the steps (all settings need to be introduced by itself), secondly, there is no support for the Russian language ...
First, insert a USB flash drive into a USB port and run WinsetupFromusB and the administrator name.
- choose the inserted USB flash drive;
- click Tick "Auto Format It WITH FBINST", file system - NTFS;
- specify the path to the Windows XP distribution folder (ISO image can be unzipped using the WinRAR program, or open it in Daemon Tools (links to programs are presented above));
- latest Barcode - Press the "Go" button.
In the next step, the program will warn you that all data on the flash drive in the process of writing data will be deleted. Just confirm it.
If the flash drive has been successfully discharged - you will see the Job Done / Work window.
Windows 7, 8, 10
In principle, one and the same utilities can be used to record these OS - the whole process is identical. I will show on the example of several utilities the whole process in steps.
Windows 7 USB / DVD Tool
Despite the fact that this utility is designed for Windows 7, you can write using it with a USB flash drive with Windows 8/10. Because This program is the simplest (easier nowhere) from everything and the entire process of writing the image in it consists of only 4 steps, I recommend it in the first place.
Step 1: Specify the ISO image from Windows OS ("Browse" button when the image is specified, click "Next").

Step 2.: Select the device to record. In this case, you need to select or USB device or DVD. Choose the first.
Step 3.: Choose a disc letter to which entry will be conducted (i.e., specify the desired USB flash drive, because there may be a few pieces connected to a PC ...).
Step 4.: Recording process. When the operation will be shown about the successful completion of the operation (Bootable USB Device Created SuccessFully) - you can restart the PC and check the flash drive ...
As can be seen above, the whole process is extremely simple and does not be overwhelmed.

USB flash drive UEFI
UEFI is a new standard, a new interface (if you can express it). He is designed to replace the "old" BIOS. One of the main tasks of UEFI is a computer protection from boot viruses that are downloaded together (or up to) Windows OS (apologize for tautology).
Therefore, in new computers / laptops, if you connect a flash drive to their USB port, created by a classic way - then the PC will not see it! In order for this USB flash drive to be visible: you need to switch the UEFI on Legacy (the writing can be slightly different, depending on the BIOS / UEFI version) and turn off the Secure Boot.
In the same part of the article, I will consider a couple of ways to create a bootable UEFI flash drive (so as not to turn off the Secure Boot protection in the BIOS). So...
Method number 1 - using the WinsetUpFromUSB utility
First, run the utility on behalf of the administrator (how to make: right click on the executable file, then select the desired function in the context menu).
- Select a flash drive (be careful, when recording, all data on the flash drive will be removed!);
- Click the tick "Auto Format It WITH FBINST" and select the FAT 32 file system (do not touch the remaining checkboxes);
- Next, select the ISO file with Windows (in the example below I chose Windows 8);
- Click the GO button and wait for the completion of the process.

Method number 2 - Using the RUFUS utility
RUFUS is an excellent utility for recording different types of bootable media. All settings are performed in one window, everything is simple and fast.
You need to run the utility as well as from the administrator (screenshot below).
RUFUS 3.4 - Creating a flash drive under UEFI (GPT)
Multi-load flash drive (several OS on 1 flash drive!)
You can write a flash drive not only one version of Windows OS, but at once a few! For example, imagine on one flash drive can be OS: Windows XP 32 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit and Windows 10 64bit. In the case of which, you do not need to carry a bunch of flash drives with different OS - with one single you can immediately install the desired one. Below will consider in detail how and what is being done ...
To create such a flash drive, you need the following:
- several ISO images with the desired systems (for example, Windows XP and Windows 7). By the way, the Windows XP image is better to take with integrated SATA drivers, otherwise on new motherboards when installing, get a "blue" screen;
- Daemon Tools or Alcohol (if you want to add Windows 2000, XP to USB flash drive): Programs that can open an ISO image (i.e., you will see a virtual drive in "My Computer", since it is not an ISO image, but a regular disk is inserted into the CD-ROM. Presents in the first part of the article,) ;
- flash drive for 8-16 GB (the more OS is going to write down - the more room there should be a flash drive);
- the program (presented at the top of the article,).
Step-by-step instruction for creating a multi-load flash drive
- Run the program WinsetUpFromUSB on behalf of the administrator. To do this, simply go to the folder with the program, select the executable file and click on it right mouse button, then select the "Run from the administrator" in the context menu.
- Next, in Daemon Tools, open an image from Windows 2000/2003 / XP (those who will not write to the USB flash drive can skip this step).
The ISO image with Windows XP is open in Daemon Tools.
- Insert the USB flash drive to the USB port;
- Next, you must set the following parameters: 1)
Indicate the inserted USB flash drive (in my case, the disk "E: \\"); 2)
Put a tick "Auto Format It WITH FBINST", select the NTFS file system (If you plan to create a USB flash drive under UEFI - Choose FAT 32); the remaining ticks by default; 3)
Specify the virtual drive in which the ISO image is opened with Windows XP / 2000; 4)
Indicate the ISO image from Windows 10 (in my case, it was precisely this OS for a multi-load flash drive); 5)
Press the "GO" button - the start of the flash drive. All numbers are illustrated in the screenshot below.
- Next, the program will ask if it is right to start recording. By the way, it is important, all data on the flash drive will be deleted!
- Then the program opens again - the answer is affirmative.
Warning 2 - click "Yes."
- Further, if everything went well, at the bottom of the window you will see a "green strip" - the program began to work. The recording time depends on the flash drive selected images, the speed of your USB port, from the PC load, etc. on average, 5-20 minutes. For recording multiple OS. At this time, it is better not to touch the computer and not run resource-intensive tasks on it: games, video editors / graphics, etc.
- When the flash drive is recorded, you will see the inscription "Job Done". In principle, the USB flash drive can already be used, on it now 2 Windows XP and 10! Screen below.
- To add another OS, for example, Windows 7 - simply insert the USB flash drive again into the USB port, run WinsetupFromusB (from the administrator). Then: 1)
Select the desired flash drive (approx.: For which we have recorded 2 OS)

Specify the ISO image from the Windows added; 3)
Click the "Go" button. Note: Please note that put the box opposite the "Auto Format IT WITH FBINST" item, as we did before, do not need it!
- When another OS is added, you will see the usual window - the work is performed. Now on the flash drive 3 OS: Windows XP (32 Bit), 7 and 10 (64 BIT).
- If you want to add another OC, such as Windows 8, you need to do a step 9 again (see above). In principle, you can add enough OS enough on your flash drive (so let's say, provide all options) ...
Checking multi-load flash drive
To check the created USB flash drive, you need to do the following:
- Go to the BIOS and queue the USB flash drive queue (you can use Boot Menu). For more information about which buttons for the progress in the BIOS and Call Boot Menu are described here:
- Insert a USB flash drive into a USB port and restart the computer;
- A window should appear as on the screenshot below: for example, I chose a Windows NT 6 string (this is to select the installation of Windows 7, 8, 10).
After that, if you have 2 or more "new" OS, you will see a list with all of them. Choose the desired option and continue the installation. Screen is shown below, the USB flash drive!
