And now I’ll tell you and show you how I made different types of flowers from Thomas.
Such decorations can be used for different purposes, for example: to decorate the interior of an apartment. You can make a whole bouquet in a vase, in a basket, in a pot or a hat box; stunningly beautiful compositions are suitable for topiary or on curtain rods.

Another popular purpose for such flowers is to decorate a dress or hair; such floristry is usually attached to elastic bands, hairpins, headbands, headbands or brooches.

I make flowers for photos - paraphernalia and bouquets, so I will have them on a stem, but you can make them without a stem and attach them to any other base.

I want to start this series of master classes with my favorite Pansies or Viola as they are also called. These flowers have a rich palette of different colors. Today I will show two of them, blue and lilac, but you can choose any other to your taste.

I make veins on the petals using an awl and tint the bottom light yellow.

For a deeper color, I add strokes of purple and shade it.

The top 2 are lighter, and the middle 2 and bottom 1 are darker.

Violas are also characterized by dark veins in the core of the flower. They are best made with acrylic paints, but unfortunately mine dried out and I had to use pastels, although it didn’t turn out the way I wanted.

Now let's move on to assembly. At the end of the wire we make a small loop, and glue a piece of fom, very small, you need to wrap it somewhere once, and then tear off the remaining end by hand.

To make this transition less visible, we melt it a little with an iron and smooth it out.

We tint this stamen yellow and glue our first lower petal.

The last two should be behind the middle ones.

I will need two more sepals, which I will tint with a darker green.

I heat the iron and twist them a little.

To put it on the stem, I make a hole in the middle of the sepal.

I glue the sharp ends first.

Then with rounded ones.

Using pliers, I bend the stem, like real flowers.
Although I don’t claim 100% similarity.

This is how the pansy turned out.

I also decided to do it in a different color, I won’t go into detail on all the points, so I’ll briefly show some points.
For example, the tint this time is brighter and more saturated. I use bright yellow and dark blue.

I made the edges of the petals dark blue. I like this color option for real flowers too.

I make the edges of the petals into a wave, stretching them a little with my fingers. The assembly is exactly the same as in the first version.

To make a dandelion you will need a strip of yellow foamiran 40 cm long and 2 cm wide.

To speed up the process a little, fold our strip in half and cut it into small strips 1-2 mm wide and approximately 15 mm long.

We also cut out a circle about 5 cm in diameter and also make cuts along the edges.

We cut 10 cm from our main strip.

We heat the iron, I set the temperature slightly below medium. We apply our strips in parts, remove them and lightly scroll them with our fingers.

We do this with all parts and with the sepals too.

Next we wind a long piece, glue it on the contrary, the stripes should look outward.

I make a hole and veins in the sepal in the middle.

When the sepal is glued, it turns out to be in the shape of a cup.

For the second part of the sepal, you will also need this many-pointed star.

The tips of the dandelion can be curled even more using heat.

We also twist the tips of the star well.

And glue it to our flower.

To make it more similar, you can make more leaves. I tint them a little with dark green pastel.

Do-it-yourself peony from foamiran

I also really wanted to make a beautiful peony so that it would delight me all year round. I love these flowers very much, but they don’t bloom long enough. And now, regardless of the season, I will have a peony at home.

To make a peony you will need 3 strips 50 cm long and 3 cm wide; 3.5 cm; and another 4.2 cm.

You will also need two cinquefoils.

We cut long strips into smaller strips along the entire length, not reaching the edge of the strip 0.5 - 0.8 cm. The distance between them is from 0.1 to 0.5 cm. We cut in any shape so that everyone turns out different.

I took the Foma color fuchsia and tinted the edges a little with white pastel, but this point is optional, optional.

We heat the iron at a temperature slightly below average, heat up our stripes and roll them between our fingers, giving them a chaotic shape.

We also heat our five-leaf leaves, each petal separately and twist it. Leave to cool.

To form a bud, prepare a stem from floral wire and a piece of foil twisted into a ball.

For cinquefoils, we make small indentations in the middle of the petals, stretching the suede with our fingers.

We start making our peony with the smallest strip of 3 cm. Lubricate a small part with glue.

We begin winding approximately from the middle of the circle of foil.

We wind it circle by circle, constantly lubricating it with glue.

After the first strip we wind the second, gradually going down a little lower.

We wind the third one in the same way, going down to the very base of the stem; in some places there will be folds, but this is normal, all this will then be covered with a five-leaf clover.

In the cinquefoil we make a hole in the middle and grease it with glue, glue first one, and then the second in a checkerboard pattern.

We also need leaves and sepals for the peony. I made these patterns.

I cut them out of foamiran and made veins on them.

I also tinted the leaves using my favorite method, which I described in more detail in the previous one.

For the leaves you will also need small pieces of wire that need to be taped.

All petals are subjected to heat treatment.

We glue the leaves to the wire, and make a hole in the sepals for the stem.

We glue the rounded sepals first, and then the sharp ones.

We tape the leaves to the main stem.

Master class of ranunculus from foamiran

Another type of flower that I like and which has many varieties is ranunculus. There are quite a lot of options for its implementation, I will share the one that seemed quite easy to me, but at the same time very interesting.

I wanted to experiment with the colors of the flower, so I will mix several oil pastel colors together to get an unusual color. This moment is optional, but if you are interested, you can also try to repeat it, or just skip this step.

For the experiment you will need: One part blue; 3 parts red and 3 parts black, but after this experience I realized that it was better to take two parts black. I just initially wanted to get a slightly different color, but in principle this option also turned out to be very interesting and unusual. To heat, you will need a piece of foil or baking paper. Iron on medium heat.

When the pastel melts, mix the colors with each other.

When you remove the foil from the iron, the pastel hardens again.

I used this petal template, only I cut the centers between the petals deeper. It took me 6 cinquefoils to make 1 flower.

I tried to tint the petals with liquid pastel when it was heated and with hard pastel when it had already frozen. The effect was a little different. Melted pastel tints with a thicker and darker layer, and solid pastel, on the contrary, with a lighter and lighter layer.

To make the pastel liquid again, it needs to be heated again; you can use a sponge for tinting.

Not much time has passed since the first crafts made from foamiran appeared on the shelves of needlewomen. Iranian foamiran has a thickness of 0.8 to 1 mm, and Chinese manufacturers produce products that have a thickness of 1.5 to 2 mm.

In the process of preparing the petals, they should be twisted in opposite directions with your fingers and stretched in the center. 	For a lily you will need to stock up on ready-made stamens and pistil.
	The base of the flower is held together with adhesive tape. The pistil is in the center, the stamens are around it.
	After fastening the parts, unfold them as shown in the photo.
	To create the texture of the petals, you will need special molds - they can be found in handicraft stores.
	Place the mold on the mold and heat it with an iron, then press the parts tightly until they cool.
	Cut the petals with veins along the contour with scissors.
	Each petal will need a rigid frame so that it bends in the desired direction. For the frame, thin wire is used, wrapped in material to match the petal.

How to make a chamomile flower - instructions for beginners

Chamomile is just a seemingly simple flower. It is not so easy to make it from Thomas - it will require patience and many miniature parts.

	Using the miniature template, draw and cut out 30 small petals from white foam foam.
	Make a fringe from a strip of yellow fom. Carefully cut the material with scissors at a minimum distance.
	Give relief to the chamomile petals using tweezers. Just heat up the workpieces and run tweezers over the hot material.
	Bend the stem wire at the tip to form a hook. Insert the tip of the fringe into it.
	Rotate the stem while gluing the fringe to create the center of the flower.
	Heat the finished core over a candle. The fom will become thinner and the core will look very natural.
	Hot glue the first row of petals.
	Attach the second row so that the lower petals fit between the upper ones.
	Cover the reverse side of the flower with a curly detail. You can then attach a hairpin or brooch pin to it.
