Curtains coffee with milk. Curtains "coffee with milk" for a bedroom with a balcony door in Pestovo

The curtains are made of jacquard - a textured weave fabric in which the threads are very tightly intertwined and form a patterned relief. With such weaving, a very high density of threads per unit area is achieved, therefore any jacquard is obviously more durable than any other material obtained by one of the simple weaving methods. The loops are twisted, do not unravel when stretched. Due to this, the fabric is tough, durable, but not heavy, less prone to abrasion. Jacquard is a very practical material, unpretentious in care.

Curtain tape is a braid, the main purpose of which is to create drapery. At the top, the curtain is assembled with a braid and forms even folds along the entire length of the curtain. Depending on the type of braid, the frequency and type of folds may be different. Due to the folds, the curtain itself looks dynamic and magnificent. You can hang the curtain on the curtain tape using hooks or rings, which must be purchased separately or they are supplied with the curtain rod.

Nothing brings home the feeling of being at home more than a cup of aromatic coffee with milk foam. One of the common design tricks is to use color combinations that remind a person of delicious food. The most commonly used color is coffee with milk in the interior, which looks advantageous in any room. To make the combination bright and not annoying, it is important to be able to combine different shades. After all, coffee is a rich range from dark brown to cream.

Often the interior of the color of coffee with milk is chosen by conservative people. This unobtrusive combination does not go out of fashion, it serves as a good background for the implementation of design ideas. In such a room you can place objects of art, paintings, photographs. Coffee can lead in the design of the room or serve as a background. In a small living room, it is better to use it to decorate one wall, and in a spacious bedroom, it can play a major role.

Beautiful kitchen in the color of coffee with milk

Nice

Hues of coffee will soften the interior, allow you to focus on work or study. Not the last role in decorating is played by the selection of curtains. By changing the curtains alone, you can radically change the perception of space. When the walls in the room are white and the windows are to the south, the coffee curtain will allow you to close from the scorching sun and add a color accent.

Coffee shade ennobles any room. To create an atmosphere of luxury, it is important to add appropriate accessories. These can be lamps, figurines, decorative fireplaces or antique furniture. Feel the warmth of the hearth will help textiles - pillows with embroidery, carpets, heavy curtains with fringes.

Against the background of milk and coffee, an avant-garde picture will look beautiful, including spots of red and blue. It will give dynamism, but will not bring excessive semantic load. Accessories are better to choose pure colors, it is advisable to avoid purple and yellow. These colors will make the interior heavy.

What do psychologists say?

Coffee shades are traditionally used in interior design of any kind. Psychologists believe that the color of coffee calms the nerves, creates an atmosphere of comfort and encourages communication. In the coffee interior there is no copious amount of cold colors, such as blue and blue. Therefore, even in winter, a room in warm colors will not put pressure on the psyche.

Interesting information. Often, in coffee tones, antique interiors are decorated in a classic or English style.

How to fit into the interior?

If the room has already been decorated and major cosmetic repairs are not planned, you can replace the furniture set or repaint one of the walls. The current option is the use of natural shades and texture of wood. Such an interior will be light and at the same time create a feeling of peace.

Not everyone dares to paint the surface with a brown tint. But it is quite possible to use wall panels made of coffee-colored wood. Natural wood can be replaced with an imitation of chipboard or MDF. The following types of wood are suitable:

  • bog oak
  • Cherry
  • wenge
  • ash
  • mahogany
  • larch

Helpful information. Depending on the processing method, the shade of wood of a single species may vary. Significantly different in appearance is wood impregnated with stain from painted with colored varnish or heat-treated.

Dark room design in the color of coffee with milk

The main shades used in the design

Most often, light colors are used to decorate walls, and dark colors are used for furniture facades. Thus, soft wallpaper focuses on aristocratic furniture, which effectively stands out against a light background. You can not use only dark or vice versa, neutral shades, otherwise the room will be dull or gloomy.

The fashionable color of coffee with milk is most often various variations of brown and cream. You can add freshness by using blotches of blue or turquoise. Intense red and orange will help bring dynamism. A good way to create an oasis of comfort in the middle of a metropolis is to add elements of green.

Advice. Light shades are suitable for a small room, and dark brown will look good in a large room.

Coffee-colored kitchen in gloss: the best combinations

In the old days, the color of coffee was often used in the kitchen, reminiscent of the grains of an invigorating drink. Then the furniture was not painted, so it retained a noble brownish tint. Now coffee can be “fitted” into a high-tech interior if you add them with metal accessories. These can be doorknobs, holders for spoons and ladles, or countertops. Now many people choose glossy furniture, as it looks modern and visually enlarges the space.

The optimal ratio of colors should be selected based on what effect you want to achieve. The kitchen can be romantic, luxurious, austere, rustic, and so on. When choosing a glossy headset, you can use the following combinations.

  1. White wall cabinets and dark floor cabinets are suitable if you want more light in the kitchen.
  2. Alternating cabinets with brown and red doors - this combination increases appetite.
  3. Gold fittings - the kitchen will become luxurious, an excellent solution for the Rococo or Byzantine style.
  4. Brown wood and frosted glass doors are a good option for creating a modern interior.
  5. Many ladies will love the combination of milk chocolate with pale pink.

You can choose the color of coffee to decorate a glossy tile or a corner sofa. But in this case, it is necessary to add contrasting light shades. In order for the kitchen to be without dark corners, it is necessary to use backlighting.

Advice. The kitchen will become more expressive if you place a panel depicting coffee beans or a cup of aromatic drink on one of the walls.

The use of coffee wallpaper in the interior

The easiest way to bring something new into the interior is by pasting beautiful wallpapers. Select the pattern of paintings, based on the purpose of the room:

Kitchen - a pattern with coffee cups, cafe tables and other mouth-watering motifs will look great.

Contrasting combinations are suitable for the living room. You can use the whole arsenal - panels, borders, ornaments. You should not be limited to one type of wallpaper.

In the bedroom, coffee color can be present only on the headboard or occupy the entire wall. Floral patterns and swirls are applicable here.

Study room - the alternation of several types of wallpaper will look spectacular - the bottom is dark, the upper part is milky or with vertical stripes. At the junction of the canvases, you can place a decorative border.

The entrance hall is a rather cramped room, so it is better to use a light cappuccino that will contrast with wooden furniture.

Corridor - you can mix different drinks and create a cocktail. For these purposes, wallpaper with patterns and tints of colors is suitable. It is important to avoid dark tones.

If one of the walls is not filled with anything and spoils the whole impression, you can paste over it with photo wallpapers, on which the color of coffee dominates. They can depict a still life, an old map or an engraving. For an informal industrial style, you can choose wallpaper with imitation brickwork or wooden planks.

What else needs to be considered?

In the case of shades of brown, you don’t have to “bother” with the purchase of accessories. You can put in plain sight souvenirs from your last trip, your favorite books, dishes. When you don’t want to radically change the situation, it’s enough to put a new coffee table, decorate the room with vases or place a bright poster on the wall.

Designers recommend using shades of your favorite coffee drink. Cappuccino, latte, coffee black or with milk - all these drinks have their own color scheme. Your favorite color is suitable as an accent, then the kitchen or living room will sparkle with new colors.

In many restaurants, the color of coffee is used to decorate walls or furniture. Therefore, visitors have a feeling of home comfort, and their appetite increases. The shades of coffee are neutral, it is easy to choose them yourself without resorting to the services of a designer.

50 photos of apartment design ideas in the color of coffee with milk:

Recently, we received another order, it was required to sew curtains for an adult bedroom located in a private house. The customer, a spectacular middle-aged woman, who introduced herself as Anastasia, invited our designer to the house and told her wishes regarding future products. They were as follows:

  • Curtains to match the color of the room (read about curtains in the color of the wallpaper here). There should be no red, green, black or blue colors.
  • The cut of the curtain is simple, without frills, but not without zest.
  • The presence of tulle or curtains.
  • The room has a separate balcony door, which is often used in the mornings during the warm season. You need to come up with an easy-to-open drapery for her.
  • Complete the order as soon as possible.

A separate wish was to choose a fabric with non-contrasting embroidery or a three-dimensional pattern.

Description of the interior

The bedroom was located on the second floor of the house, and was a corner room. On one side there was a huge corner window, almost the entire wall, and on the other wall there was a door, with floor-to-ceiling glass, without additional windows.

Wall and ceiling decoration in the interior was made in the color "coffee with milk". White windows and a balcony door looked harmoniously with the same bed and armchair. On the floor was laid a light brown laminate imitating a parquet board.

Fabric choice

The first thing I did was choose the fabric for future curtains. In our collection there was a beautiful cotton fabric, the color of "coffee with milk", which was applied with a white, voluminous pattern. I decided to use it as for a large window, and for a balcony door. The color of the fabric was in perfect harmony with the decoration of the ceiling and walls of the room, and its pattern was perfectly combined with the white curtain.

Curtain

For the curtains, I chose a translucent, snow-white, airy organza tulle. I decided to use the curtain only on the window, so as not to create inconvenience when opening the balcony door.

Keeping in mind the desire of the customer, I chose a simple cut of curtains, but with some secret. For the window, I took fabrics twice as large as its length. In the closed position, even symmetrical folds are obtained on the curtains, and in the open position, the curtain will look draped in a large number of deep folds, which will give the interior an additional zest. To form folds, it was decided to fasten the curtains to the eyelets and close the cornice with a rigid lambrequin.

In order to hide the fastening of the curtains and give additional charm to the curtains, I decided to use a hard lambrequin, from several layers of the same fabric as on the curtains. The lambrequin forms a textile box, inside of which a curtain and curtains are fixed. I decided to use this design technique only on the window, since the balcony door was already framed with slopes and a stucco cornice. For its drapery, it was decided to sew a Roman blind.

The balcony door has already been framed as an independent architectural object with slopes and a cornice. To drape it, I decided to sew a Roman blind, from the same fabric as the curtains, but also with a little secret. I placed the guide bars closer together than usual. In the open position, due to this technique, the curtain gathers in frequent deep folds, like curtains. The Roman blind was controlled by an electric drive (read about electric roller blinds here), which is located on the slope at the bottom of the balcony door.

Tandem curtains and Roman blinds with the interior

As mentioned above, the decoration of the walls and ceiling is made in the color "coffee with milk". Draperies and Roman blinds of the same tone organically complement the existing design. White curtains and patterns on the curtains are in harmony with the white ceiling cornice (more about ceiling curtains here), the color of windows and furniture. A rigid lambrequin gives the interior an exquisite simplicity and hides the corner transition of windows, as well as the fastening of curtains and curtains. Deep frequent folds on the curtains and open Roman blinds give the interior some zest. In the closed position, the Roman blind hangs in a straight line, completely blocking the door and, due to its color to match the design of the walls and ceiling, is not very striking.

When I was choosing fabric for curtains and Roman blinds, I found a light brown fabric that was very similar in texture and pattern. In order to dilute the coffee and milk colors of the room and textiles, after agreeing with the customer, I decided to sew cushion covers from this fabric, to match the color of the laminate on the floor.

What happened

The result is a harmonious tandem, consisting of a Roman blind on the balcony door and eclectic curtains on the windows. The snow-white curtain brings an additional touch of airiness and tenderness to the design. The Roman blind in the closed position securely covers and masks the balcony door. The mechanism allows you to quickly open the curtain, freeing the passage into the doorway or completely close it if necessary. Pillows in the color of the floor dilute the monochromatic range and harmonize with the rest of the textiles.

Customer feedback

Anastasia K.

I liked your work. As your designer used to say, "style without style." A hard, straight pelmet and thick folded curtains really make the bedroom simple and austere, but with its own twist. The quality of the fabric is excellent, it is even visible to the naked eye. The curtain perfectly scatters the morning rays of the sun and at the same time does not obscure the room. Pillows really "dilute" the color of the bedroom, I'm glad that I succumbed to your persuasion and agreed to tailor them. The curtain on the balcony door is just amazing! I did not expect such an effect! If I didn’t know that there was a door behind the closed curtain, I would have thought that it was such a design decision, to use curtain fabric in wall decoration. In the open position, the curtain does not interfere with the passage to the balcony at all and is easily controlled using a mechanism. I am very satisfied with this decision. So, I decided to make repairs in the room of my mother, who lives with me and is ready to invite you again so that you can sew curtains in her renovated bedroom.

Curtains in milk colors are a great addition to any interior. With the help of curtains, you can make the space more comfortable, bright and spacious. Milky curtains evoke pleasant memories of the wedding, and also carry an atmosphere of romance and innocence.

To make the curtains look harmonious, you need to know how and with what to combine them, what elements to choose. If all the nuances are observed, the transformed apartments will look great.

What to pair with

Milky curtains are universal. Perfectly matched decoration, as well as a combination of colors, will help create an atmosphere of comfort. For a combination, it is desirable to choose muted tones, while bright ones will look like a stain and cut the eye.

Ornaments in straw colors are ideal for decorating, which will add tenderness and harmony to the design. Milky brown curtains will bring a touch of elegance and austerity to the room. They will look great in the guest and sleeping area. Furniture made in pastel colors will emphasize the design, and decorations made in gold, olive and brown colors will give the effect of luxury.

Do not forget about the theme that will prevail in the room. If this is a bedroom for a girl or girl, then the curtains can be combined with a delicate pink color. The decor can be selected furniture in delicate colors, a fluffy carpet, flowers.

Undoubted companion colors are:

  • wenge;
  • herbal;
  • all dark shades;
  • red and pink.

With the right selection of decorations and colors, the room will have a finished look. Agree that it is nice to return home where comfort and coziness reign.

The combination of milk curtains with different directions

Curtains are one of the design elements that catches the eye. Each style, whether classic or baroque, suits certain shades. Knowing how to combine color with style, you can achieve harmony in the design of the space. All snow-white tones from beige to pastel are formed using basic white.

But the snow-white does not look as cozy and gentle as the color of milk. Therefore, white curtains are perfect for this type of direction as country. The country style is dominated by snow-white tones and decorations do not require complexity.

More milky shade fits classicism. Natural wood furniture will perfectly complement a spacious room, and milk-colored curtains will complement this tandem. Here they can be combined with a golden color, with a fabric that has embroidery or fringe.

If you want simplicity and sincerity to be present, complement the decoration with embroidered pillows and various figurines made of natural stone.

In combination with pale pink, blue and brown, it is suitable for the direction of Provence. In a small apartment, a room decorated in this direction will give the atmosphere of a village house. Milk shade curtains will look ridiculous when decorated in a high-tech style, their best combination in a vintage space design.

To create a harmonious atmosphere, pay attention to details. Below are photos of milky curtains used to decorate different rooms.

Which apartments are suitable for

Milk is a warm shade, which means it will be appropriate for the bedroom. Chocolate-milk color curtains will bring tenderness and romance. An addition will be floor-length vases, decor with photographs and light-colored baguettes. Lighting in such a bedroom should be more natural.

Milky curtains in the living room look perfect in a brown addition (furniture, wall decor, wallpaper). When decorating, pay due attention to the wallpaper, they can be either plain or with non-showy patterns. When choosing gold and beige tones, the apartment will not look gloomy.

Light curtains fit perfectly into the kitchen area. In the interior of the kitchen, they will give it a classic look. The kitchen set should be made of natural wood, it is not cheap, but it will last a long time.

The curtain in the kitchen can be decorated in the American style. An addition will be a bar counter, a dining table in color and bright lamps.

Which lighting to choose

Particular attention should be paid to artificial lighting and give it the right angle. Consider the play of light and shadows from furniture and decor. A room with curtains of milk color can become incomprehensible and faded with the wrong lighting.

To achieve the ideal option, the furniture can be moved at different times of the day, this experiment will help you achieve the ideal result.

A shade with a slight yellowness will give the room warmth, and lamps with white light will make it cold. If the windows face north, use yellow light, south windows will suit white.

Each detail plays a certain role in the design of the room, but the most important thing is to listen to yourself what you want, and then the created interior with milky curtains will delight every day. And returning home you will enjoy pleasant evenings with your family in a cozy and warm room with beautiful curtains.

Photo of milky curtains

Since ancient times, brown colors have been used in home decoration. This natural coloring continues to be popular today. In our article, you will see how brown curtains look in the interior and enjoy a large selection of photos.

You'll also find the trendiest hues, color combinations, a variety of window arrangements and helpful tips from design experts.

This versatile color goes well with others - warm and cold. It creates an atmosphere of comfort, peace, stability.

Brown curtains soften the interior, well protecting the room from sunlight. There is only one minus: dark tones visually reduce the space, and if there are too many of them, the room will be gloomy.

But this does not mean that you should give up noble dark brown curtains. The main thing here is a competent approach and compliance with the required “dosage”.

Let's look at how best to do this, using one of the most trendy colors as an example.

Wenge color curtains

Like zebrano, wenge is a rare tropical tree of the same name. A hard, load-resistant material used for the manufacture of furniture, doors, flooring.

The color wenge, dark brown with black veins, goes well with all other types of wood and is often used for contrasting designs.

Deep and rich, it is valued for the nobility that it brings to the interior, as well as for the variety of shades. In some of them you can see notes of burgundy or even purple.

Solid dark curtains are best suited for a large living room or bedroom with good lighting.

In less spacious rooms, a color that complements the decor can be present on light curtains in the form of monograms, drawings, patterns, edging, and accessories.

A beautiful window decor that complements the overall color scheme will be double curtains. In this case, the window is framed by plain canvases in combination with tulle, and if you want - without it.

Compositions of 3 canvases on each side of the window look especially elegant. Along the edges - dark monotonous curtains, inside - one of the shades of white. And the middle patterned canvas contains both colors. For you to be sure, take a look at these photos.

Filament curtains will not be allowed to go too far with a dark color. They can be alternated with a white, cream mesh veil, playing on the contrasts of colors and materials.

If the furniture in the room is made of wenge wood, designers recommend choosing other, lighter or darker tones for curtains. Especially if you want to draw all the attention to the furniture.

But the curtains can match the color of the door at the opposite end of the room, which will create a harmony of color. Doors, a narrow wardrobe on a white background look very impressive - for example, as in these photos.

Perhaps you are wondering what to combine with curtains of such an unusual color? Match the curtains to the color of the largest object in the room - a sofa, a table, a piano.

You can act differently, complementing the window decor with other home textiles - bedspreads, pillowcases, chair pads.

Another way is to combine the colors present in the interior in the curtains. For example, brown, with beige ornaments, curtains will echo in color with walls, furniture, and other items.

But the concept of beauty and norms, you see, everyone has their own. Someone will be quite comfortable in a hall or office where dark colors dominate. And to achieve the desired light balance will help bright artificial or natural lighting.

Advice (but not a designer, but a psychologist): if the dark color scheme is not necessarily the cause of depression and depressing thoughts, then monochrome interiors just contribute to this.

Cocoa shade curtains

This pleasant coloring seems to fill the room with the sweet aroma of your favorite drink. Delicate woody shade of brown can be called traditional and trendy at the same time.

It is found in a classic, modern style, perfectly combined with pastels, as well as rich colors. Cocoa-colored curtains look perfect in the interior of the nursery and bedroom.

Harmonizing with walls, furniture, flooring, such curtains will not act as an accent, but rather as a cozy addition.

Plain fabrics look best against the background of the same or ornamented walls. And curtains with a pattern, patterns are more appropriate on a monochrome background.

Whatever color scheme the room is decorated in, cocoa-colored curtains will always be in place. As additions, there will be a carpet, a lampshade, cushions, niches, an accent wall.
There is an opinion that such colors tend to reduce the room. But this can be argued by looking at the photos below.

Cafe-au-lait curtains

And here is another confirmation of the well-known design move - to use a color in the design that is associated with something tasty.

The color of coffee with milk is no less versatile. Coffee shades that are fashionable today are often used in interior design, regardless of the style direction and purpose of the rooms.

This is due to the fact that they go well with all other colors. Warm light brown tones have no "contraindications" in terms of the size of the room.

Interesting fact: experts in color therapy say with confidence that the color of coffee with milk soothes, encourages positive communication.

Brown curtains in the interior of different rooms

When choosing a model, color and style of curtains, designers recommend considering:

  • general color scheme;
  • illumination level;
  • room dimensions.

And, of course, the design style, to which we will return a little later.

Modern interiors are dominated by smart design, that is, a balance of beauty and convenience. So, in some rooms, he may not be too smart - in the living room, bedroom, although there are some nuances here.

Another example - the curtains in the bathroom should not absorb and let moisture through. It would seem that this is obvious, but which of us has never missed the obvious, being in aesthetic delight?

Before you give yourself over to design, arm yourself with a few more practical tips:

  • long curtains of dark shades are not the best choice for small, and even more so, poorly lit rooms;
  • voluminous compositions with lambrequins, as well as double curtains, require a very strong cornice;
  • an interior with an abundance of decor will only be overloaded with a complex, multi-layered window composition;
  • To completely darken the room, use blackout curtains.

You will find confirmation of all this in the photo.

And now let's find out how brown curtains will look in the interior of the living room.

Here you can not do without a natural desire to impress. Or at least create the most favorable atmosphere for the family.

Do you already know what will be the main focus of the room? If not, consider elegant curtains that will catch the eye due to unusual design or expensive material.

Curtains can complement the color ensemble, and, if you want, completely merge with the walls, creating a spatial unity.

Ascetic modern interiors are suitable for curtains on grommets that create a large or small drapery. A hard lambrequin to match the color of the curtains will always help to hide a bulky cornice that does not harmonize in color.

In a more classic setting, compositions with soft, draped or openwork lambrequins will look organic.

Combinations of several dense canvases look impressive. Pay attention to how chocolate, coffee shades with white and beige look perfect.

If you are against solid dark curtains, but still really want to add wenge or coffee colors to your window decor, limit yourself to the top and bottom of the canvases. The drawstring, frill or edging, and if necessary, the pickup will contrast against a lighter background.

Another trendy move is striped curtains. They can be draped in such a way that when shifted they become solid.

Vertical stripes are very useful in rooms with low ceilings, because they visually elevate the room. The ceiling cornice gives the same effect.

It is unusual and very popular to hang patterned tulle over thick plain curtains, which serve as an excellent backdrop. And here's what it looks like.

Contemporary window decor that combines beauty and convenience - asymmetric and combined curtains, ideal for living rooms with a balcony door or non-standard proportions.

Roman curtains with tulle tulle, roller blinds and Scandinavian blinds - there are quite a few such combinations. They are often used when only one side of a window needs to be darkened.

If the intended purpose of the hall should be lush, expressive, then other rooms, on the contrary, it is better to fill with peace and tranquility. Therefore, brown curtains in the interior of your bedroom will better perform a secondary, rather than a major role.

Fans of a contrasting interior will like dark canvases that are in harmony with pillows, rugs, and lamps.

The pattern on the curtains can also be duplicated on other textiles, on a section of a wall or furniture. A practical nuance - to create complete darkness at any time of the day, night curtains are useful.

If neither curious neighbors nor the bright sun threaten you, pay attention to compositions from different types of tulle.

A magnetically fixed crossed veil on clips or eyelets can surprise you. Decorating it with fringe or edging, you will fill the room with lightness and romance. Kisei will be no less elegant window frame.

For small rooms or bedrooms in the attic, cascading, Roman or roller blinds are the best option. In addition to the lifting mechanism, they differ from other models in horizontal folds and the absence of a standard cornice.

But most importantly, they tightly close the window opening, leaving no chance for light. Such models are often used in small kitchens, where it is important to have access to the windowsill, and especially in cases where it plays the role of a table.

Brown in the interior of the kitchen is just perfect. It is not easily soiled, perfectly complements bright colors, and also contrasts against the background of more muted tones. It remains only to choose the design and the desired shade.

If you don't like roll-up curtains, consider short tulle. In the form of an arch, semicircular, oblique, it does not eat up space, decorating the window.

Curtains up to the windowsill or cafe curtains will also be good solutions.

As for the colors: light colors with a medium-sized dark pattern, in harmony with furniture, facades, textiles. This is most relevant in small spaces.

The minimum number of dark shades of brown is also recommended in the children's room. Sandy and soft brown are excellent companions for female and male colors.

Therefore, curtains of this color will be appropriate in both the boy's room and the girl's room. In the first case, they can be decorated with pictures, and in the second, you can add a pelmet, ruffles, fringe, muslin, bows, frills and other little things that are pleasant to the female eye.

Coffee colors are often found in the design of bathrooms. They promote relaxation and seem to fill the room with the right scent.

With the standard “dark bottom - light top”, plain chocolate curtains to the floor, you see, will not look good. And it’s a completely different matter if the drawing or frame is dark brown.

Styles

Have you noticed from the photos that brown curtains have no style restrictions? Antique interiors are often decorated in coffee tones, as well as rooms in the style of minimalism and modern.

Some areas are generally hard to imagine without brown - for example, Victorian and Biedermeier.

Light, plain and as simple as possible in cut and material, floor-length curtains are typical for Greek, Italian, French styles, Alpine chalets. They can be found in the design of modern eco, loft, high-tech interiors. It is permissible to use others - Roman and roll models.

Lush velvet, jacquard, velveteen with monograms, fringe, lambrequins, and other decor will perfectly fit into such styles as empire, baroque, retro.

Neoclassical and shabby chic will be emphasized by light patterned tulle or thread curtains. Brown curtains in a cage or in a flower look organically in rooms in Provence or country style.

Eclecticism - a mixture of styles - is one of the fashion trends in interior design. Therefore, combine styles, materials and types of curtains. Perhaps the oxymoron you created will become a new trend.

A color scheme

Brown shades look great with other colors, acting as a background, but can be present in the form of ornaments, images, accessories.

There are also colors with which they are combined most attractively:

  • beige;
  • White;
  • the black;
  • grey;
  • light yellow;
  • olive.

As you remember, monochrome interiors are advised to be diluted with two or three colors. Pay attention to white or gray-brown compositions of double curtains, which will be complemented by small furnishings.

Alternating plain and patterned fabrics, arranged in an asymmetrical order, correspond to another fashion trend.

Light coffee colors look spectacular in combination with all shades of beige, white, gray. Many will like their neighborhood with blue, light orange, pink and bright red.

Combinations with lemon, blue, purple, rich yellow, green will be bold decisions.

On this positive note, we end our review. Now you have no doubt that brown curtains are a versatile decor that suits every interior, right? Add a bit of fantasy to the inspiration received from our article and start transforming your home!
