Alla Bondareva, 34 years old

My husband and I bought a three-room apartment of 66m2, it required serious repairs, so we decided to contact a professional company. Friends advised us to the Repair Studio, paid attention to the deadlines and good prices. We found her website on the Internet, studied it thoroughly and eventually phoned the Studio. We had our own idea of the apartment after the renovation, which we told the foreman, and then received advice from him. After the renovation, the apartment looked as we wanted, the workers turned out to be good guys and made the repairs conscientiously. We are especially glad that the renovation was not delayed, the company met the deadline and fortunately, the cost did not increase) It is very pleasant that the workers cleaned up after the work and left the apartment clean. As a result, a very good impression was left from the repair in general and from the employees of the Repair Studio, I advise everyone.

Evgeny Plotnikov, 52 years old

A few months ago, I was doing repairs to my kopeck piece in the company Repair Studio, I was satisfied, the repair is beautiful! I ordered a major overhaul, I really hoped that I had made the right decision with the company. Special thanks to foreman Alexander for his help in the selection of materials, now I understand a little about this. He told me what you can save on and vice versa, where it is better to spend a little more money, but the repair will be more durable. I also didn’t have to go to hardware stores all day, the materials were selected via the Internet, the company then delivered everything itself, so I saved time and effort. When the renovation was completed in the kitchen and bathroom, I realized that the work was done well and all the worries were gone. Of the minuses, at the end I saw an error, but the workers immediately corrected it without further ado. In the end, my kopeck piece looked great, thanks to the Repair Studio!

Svetlana Kuznetsova, 40 years old

I would like to thank the Repair Studio company for a beautiful apartment. I am writing briefly, I am very pleased with the quality of the work, and most importantly, that the company managed to complete the repairs on time. I was planning to rent the apartment, so I needed to freshen it up and ordered cosmetic repairs. Itself for a long time chose the company mainly based on reviews, so I want to note that the Repair Studio is a good option.

Arina Alekseeva, 31 years old

I am writing a review about the Repair Studio six months after the apartment has been renovated. We made a turnkey renovation of a 2-room apartment. When I was looking for a company, I took into account the most important factors for me: price, the possibility of an installment plan (!), Good reviews and examples of work. I reviewed many sites, good and not so, and finally chose several companies. Then I phoned them, clarified the prices, and stopped at the Repair Studio. After drawing up the estimate, we decided to issue an installment plan, which was very convenient for us. In the course of the renovation, they decided to make a redevelopment, they combined the kitchen with the living room, they dreamed about it for a long time)) although the cost of repairs after that increased, the result was amazing!

Modern apartments with a living area of 38 square meters, as a rule, are one-room, therefore, in order to correctly and harmoniously equip the interior of the room, it is necessary to think over every little detail in zoning, decoration and furnishing.

You can come up with the layout and design yourself or ask for help from professionals who will competently approach the solution of the problem and create an interior of the highest class.

Keeping pace with fashion

At first glance, it seems that in such a limited space, due to the small area, it is almost impossible to place all the necessary household items and fully place all the items.

The design problem is especially acute if the apartment has 38 sq. m is going to live with a family with children. Various design tricks and findings will help to solve the issue of visually increasing the space.

Nowadays, redevelopment of apartments with division into zones or arrangement of a studio room, in which there are no partitions at all, and the interior is a single ensemble have become very popular.

This option is multifunctional and fashionable today, but it requires significant financial investments. A budgetary way to increase space is to combine a room with a balcony (loggia) or hallway.

Color solution

One of the main roles in the interior design of an apartment is played by the color scheme. To visually expand the space, light colors and shades are used, since a dark color will make the room gloomy and cramped.

Pastel colors will create a pleasant coziness and comfortable tranquility. Designers recommend using delicate tones of creamy, green, blue, beige or azure colors for wall decoration.

You can add mood to the interior and dilute neutral colors with bright and stylish decorative elements: textile and leather items, upholstery fabrics, porcelain and glass accessories. Even plain white walls come alive with colorful decorative elements.

Choosing an interior style

When determining the style of a one-room apartment, be sure to consider that not all areas can be implemented on an area of 38 sq. m.

Therefore, immediately exclude classics, country, antique and American styles from this list. The most suitable options would be styles: Scandinavian or Swedish, high-tech and eclectic.

It is better to use only modern and high quality materials for finishing and decorating the premises.

So that the doors do not take up precious centimeters of area, it is better to replace swing structures with sliding ones or make arched openings.

Creation of a design project

Before proceeding with the repair and decoration of the apartment, be sure to prepare a design project that will give you a general idea of the future interior.

In addition, it will not hurt to make an estimate of construction and finishing work in advance, which will help to calculate financial costs, determine the stages of work.

The design project will finally resolve the issue of choosing a style, delimiting into zones, arranging furniture and decorative elements.

Design project objectives

How complex the design of your premises will be depends on the amount of renovation. For apartments in new buildings, the renovation will be more extensive than for those already in use for several years.

The main tasks of the project include:

  • detailed measurement of all areas of the room and drawing up a plan for calculating the need for material, working out possible changes, lighting equipment and other details;
  • a sketch of a possible layout (redevelopment) of an apartment with the installation or dismantling of partitions (in agreement with the relevant services);
  • layout of communications and electrical wires;
  • determination with style, materials for repair and decoration, color palette;
  • determination with pieces of furniture, decorative and textile accessories.

The story of how a rented "odnushka" acquired the functions of a three-room apartment

Designer Alexei Bereznyak had to puzzle over the layout of this apartment. Customers asked to create a full-fledged three-room apartment in a "one-room" apartment with an area of 38 "squares". “This idea seemed like an illusion and a gamble,” recalls Aleksey. - This was the opinion of friends, relatives and everyone to whom the stream of thoughts about it reached. “Unthinkable, cramped, it won't work,” they said ... But the young couple, who rents this apartment from their relatives, did not succumb to the barrage of criticism and decided to take a bold step. " The result is a bold design that provides privacy to each of the four family members.

A place: Moscow, 2nd Frunzenskaya street
Year: 2015, work lasted 2 months
The size: apartment 38 sq.m, ceiling height - 2.55 m
Who lives here: A family of four. The eldest son is 9 years old, the daughter is 3 years old
Project author: Alexey Bereznyak
Budget: 2.5 million rubles
Interesting Facts: 500 km had to be overcome by some boards to enter the interior. Before meeting with Alexey, they were integral parts of sheds and barns

In the photo: Layout of an apartment of 38 sq m
A married couple with two children rented this small apartment from relatives. However, she did not dare to move in right away. At first, the customers wanted to completely redo the dwelling, and in some parts to redraw it. They asked the designer Alexei Bereznyak to create a layout that would give each of the four family members a personal space. In particular, it was necessary to separate the bedrooms of parents and children, as well as organize a place for receiving guests. In addition, Alexei had to provide for a large number of storage places.

Walls and ceilings painted with natural lime paint

For himself, Alexey called this design project "Real Illusion". After all, it was necessary to force everyone around to consider this apartment spacious! To cope with the task, the designer decided to move the hallway outside the apartment and organize it on the staircase. "This allowed us to create a comfortable kitchen-living room area where all family members and frequent guests who now do not want to leave can gather."

The sofa is made to order; armchair: IKEA; frames on the wall: Zara Home

Previously, there was an entrance hall - in the far left corner there is an entrance door. Now this place has turned into a reception area.

Alexey hung a mirror on the wall behind the sofa to get rid of the feeling of a confined space, and painted all surfaces white. This technique also helps to visually enlarge the area of the room.

Lamps: IKEA; watches, shelves and chest of drawers are made to order

The place where the oval table now stands was previously occupied by a storage room. Getting to work, Alexey decided to dismantle the partitions and give the space a new functional purpose. This is how a full-fledged dining area appeared here.

The designer admits that at first he doubted the need for brickwork - today this technique can be found in almost every interior. “But we found a way out and introduced it very gently and unobtrusively,” says the author. “The wall was decorated with ordinary putty, and then covered with a special coating so that it would not get dirty.”

“Every detail in this interior is important to neutralize the feeling of a small space, you want to look at these details for a long time, you want to consider them,” notes Alexey.

There is a small kitchen to the right of the dining room. The kitchen furniture and dining group have been inherited into the new interior. Alexei managed to fill in these items.

The couple wanted the interior of the apartment to be made in a Scandinavian style, and mostly natural materials were used. The designer approached this request with particular interest and introduced many elements from the wood already in use. Alexey found them and restored them himself.

From such boards, not only various shelves were created, but also a mirror frame, a headboard in the bedroom of the spouses.

“Any object to which a person’s soul and hands are attached will be self-sufficient and expressive,” the author of the project believes. - For example, all the old boards have traveled 500 km to get to the center of the capital and find a new life. The former owners dismantled them from the barns with a fifty-year history, after which, here in Moscow, they were cleaned and covered with oils. "

Armchair and chandelier: IKEA

The designer gave the lightest half of the apartment to the bedrooms. In the parents' room, Alexey made a podium for the bed. Inside there are two spacious drawers for storing bed linen.

Here, as in the living room, the author of the project actively used white. It seems that it is present in everything: the decoration of the ceiling, walls, even the floor, in textiles and furniture. Alexey explains that this shade helps to create the illusion of a large space, which is so necessary for the "odnushka".

Against a snow-white background, one of the brightest accents is the restored planks at the head of the bed. But the author decided not to dwell on this and strengthened the effect of habitation at the expense of furniture: a wardrobe with shabby panels, a figured mirror and a matching chest of drawers - everything creates a feeling of warmth, comfort and good memories.

On the one hand, it may seem that there is too much furniture in the room, even though the white color hides the bulkiness. But on the other hand, it is worth remembering the requirement of customers who insisted on creating as many storage spaces as possible. Alexey concentrated them in the bedrooms, leaving the living room and dining room free.

Contemporary interiors continue to prove that there are no small spaces or bad layouts. All imperfections in space can be hidden using the principles of zoning, as well as by correctly choosing colors, decor and furniture. To inspire you, we've created a selection of 10 beautiful studio apartment designs. Happy viewing!

This "odnushka" with an area of 43 sq.m. located in a Stalinist building and was supposed to be rented out. Project designer Daria Nazarenko decided to move away from the universal design typical for this type of real estate and created an interior with individual features. Small details, such as panels or patterned textiles, reflect the tastes of the hostess, turning into bright accents against the background of restrained finishes.

Naturally, one of the main tasks was to save precious square meters, of which there are so few in the apartment. All partitions were dismantled, transforming the space into a kind of studio.

Multifunctional furniture played an important role. So, in the middle of the room there is an object that simultaneously serves as a table, a console behind the sofa and a small partition that smoothly divides the room. The spacious bed was built into a special niche, and the bathroom was hidden behind a sliding door.

This project is an excellent example of how to make modern housing for a bachelor out of an apartment that was inherited from a grandmother, killed over the years. And it is also proof that even a loft that loves a lot of free space can fit into the interior of a one-room apartment of 38 sq.m.

The designers from the studio "Odnushechka" had to deal with a room with a complex geometric shape, as well as an angular arrangement. Removing the extra partitions, three large windows appeared in the small room at once, which let in a large amount of light and make it more spacious. The small bathroom has been enlarged by a corridor.

Almost all furniture is made to order, adjusting to the specifics of the interior. They decided to replace the table with a bar counter, which separates the living space from the kitchen. Different wall finishes make the design of the apartment more varied and complex.

One-room apartment with an area of 42 sq.m., designed by Evgenia Ermolaeva, is located in the Moscow region. The hostess prefers environmental friendliness, so the designer has added as many trees and plants as possible to the interior. The bedroom is hidden in a kind of glass dome, bringing a sense of lightness.

To save space, it was decided to minimize the dining room, which is limited to small chairs and a bar counter. Also in the apartment there was a place for a home theater and a spacious built-in wardrobe in the hallway area.

Another project from Evgenia Ermolaeva, which clearly demonstrates that even bright and eccentric pop art can look beautiful in a one-room apartment with an area of only 37 sq.m. "Odnushka" is designed for a young couple, which doubles the complexity of the initial requirement: to accommodate everything you need for life.

The redevelopment included dismantling the balcony, expanding the opening between the kitchen and the corridor, and allocating the working area with a podium-step. The designer wanted to keep the double bed, while creating space for a full living room. The transforming bed, which is in the closet, helped to cope with this task. A large wardrobe was placed along the wall, serving as the main storage place in the apartment. Mirrors on its sliding doors help to visually expand the area.

The color palette is built on the contrast of muted and bright hues. The floor pattern helps in zoning the space, highlighting each zone. Despite its small size, the interior looks stylish and aesthetically pleasing.

The designers from the Novosibirsk studio Artugol managed to combine in a small one-room apartment with an area of 40 sq.m. rationality, individuality and aesthetics, decorating it all with notes of brutality.

The layout includes a living room, a bedroom with a large bed, a kitchen, a bar area, and a separate bathroom. The contrast of cold and warm colors with deep textures gives the space a special style.

It was possible to select a niche for the bedroom with the help of a built-in wardrobe, which divided the hallway and the room. The bed is located on the podium, which acts as an additional storage space.

Horizontal wooden panels seem to frame the space, making it visually wider and more comfortable. Using one palette of three colors enhances this effect, creating a cohesive and complete look.

6. One-room apartment in the style of minimalism

The customers wanted to transform this small one-room apartment of 40 sq.m. into a modern apartment filled with lightness and air. Oksana Tsymbalova from the "House of the Sun" studio worked on the project, who managed to embody all the smallest nuances in the interior.

The dwelling consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen, small dining room, bathroom and ample storage space. To achieve this result, the designer took the principle of functionality as a basis, using every square meter, while maintaining the same desired space and lightness.

After the redevelopment, a small utility block appeared in the apartment, which was created by increasing the bathroom and moving the door.

The kitchen area includes a corner kitchen. To save space, the furniture creates a single line, leaving free space. The height of the ceilings made it possible to organize storage space at the full height of the walls. At the same time, stylistic unity and light colors smooth out all the corners, leveling the clutter.

In the bedroom area there is a workplace, which is separated from the living room by a wooden partition with an interesting texture.

This apartment is very suitable for the presence of only one, but spacious room with an area of 45 sq. M. Thanks to multifunctional furniture, the space looks very stylish, and each zone flows smoothly into another.

A small partition divides the kitchen area and the work area, which fits into a niche next to the window. The layout is L-shaped, while the dining area is made in the form of a corridor. The bedroom, which includes a bed and two bedside tables, was placed behind a translucent rounded partition, thereby hiding it from prying eyes.

The interior of the apartment has benefited from the use of modern style, which is embodied here in the flowing forms of furniture, natural colors and smooth surfaces. This combination expands the area and does not overload the room with unnecessary details.

Designed by Martins Architects, this studio apartment has virtually no boundaries, even where they are needed. Here it was also decided to hide the bedroom behind a glass partition, but this time transparent, in which you can retire with the help of curtains.

Zoning is provided by different colors and materials. So, the kitchen area is highlighted with black brickwork walls, as well as light glossy furniture, which stand in contrast to the white, green and brown colors of the rest of the interior. These varied designs are brought together by a light wood floor and a white ceiling.
