For an old wheel, both sand and water are a familiar environment.

Do not hesitate: everything that is done for children is the most important! In the simplest version, you need to pour sand inside a large wheel - and you get a sandbox. A painted wheel, and even with a pattern, will decorate the site. We install an umbrella in the sand and get an option for little VIPs. For them, we put on a heater for water pipes on the inner rim of the tire so as not to get scratched.

Smaller tires are fine too. They can be fastened together with screws. The protruding part of the self-tapping screw must be screwed into a piece of wood so that no one gets hurt.

A mini pool from a large wheel is a well-known thing. A small master class on making a pool:

1. The tire has a bead cut off on one side. The work is best done with a jigsaw.
2. They dig a pit 20 cm deep and slightly larger in area than the outer dimensions of the wheel.
3. Sand and crushed stone are laid in the pit, with a total thickness of at least 10 cm.
4. Pour the cement mortar in a ratio of 1:3.
5. A tire is placed on a thick solution and poured with a solution further so as to close the inner rim of the wheel. A layer of mortar with a total thickness of 20 cm will not crack.
6. After the solution has hardened, the inner and outer surfaces are painted. Blue paint is the best. It is better to prime the pre-painted surface.
7. After the paint has dried, the pool can be filled with water.

Your version of the swing may be different

Swings are sacred. No one will become Gagarin, but all family members will enjoy the swing. In the hardware store, you will need to purchase a chain, hooks for hanging, carabiners for joining the chain, screws, washers and nuts M6, M8 to form the seat.

Screws should be used in the optimal length, with a semi-counterhead or hemispherical head. It is better to use decorative cap nuts. Screws that are too long must be cut off.

Subject to the above conditions, the product will be as safe as possible. In the photo below there are options in which only a rope was required.

Swings personal, as well as for two or more children

Rocking on the ground is even easier to make. It is better not to cut the tire in half, but to leave the protrusions for fastening to the board with self-tapping screws. Keep in mind that a soft wheel will buckle, so the stiffness of the tire will limit the weight of those who can use the swing.

The board processed by an emery skin will save sensitive places of your children from splinters. The painted product will impress the neighbors. Handles are best placed across the board. They must be large so that the child's hand does not get stuck under the handle when falling. If you do not walk around the dacha at night, you can attach decorative eyes to the swing.

A rocking chair for one child may have a base of simpler shapes. Not everyone has an old bicycle handlebar and can be replaced with a shovel handle.

Comfortable armrests are obtained from tires from a motorcycle. In this case, the armrests and backrest are fastened with screws, washers and nuts M6, M8. As already mentioned, the screws must be used with the optimal length, with a semi-counterhead or with a hemispherical head. It is better to use decorative cap nuts. Screws that are too long must be cut off.

The bases and backs of the seats, as you can see in the photo, can be made from tread strips. The strips are intertwined and attached to the inside of the tire rim. In this case, you can do without screws if you screw the screws of the optimal length into the tire so that they do not protrude.

Now we spread a piece of an awning or a special film at the installation site, which is used to construct artificial reservoirs in summer cottages. Along the perimeter of our wheel, we degrease the awning and generously lubricate it with special glue. It can be rubber glue or even universal Velcro.

A wheel is laid on the awning, presses the awning with its weight, and remains in this position for a day. After that, the glued seam should be additionally treated with sealant from the inside and outside. After another day, you can pour water inside and use a completely sealed tire from special equipment in the form of a country pool.

If there is a slight slope on the territory of the cottage, a descent to the water or a passage through a ravine, it is tires that can be used to ensure maximum comfort on the way of movement. With their help, strong and durable steps are created, on which it is convenient and safe to walk.

Crafts from car tires

The most common version of tire crafts is flower beds. In order to make a simple flower bed, it is enough to use a small piece of plywood, tires and paint.

We cut out a circle from plywood, in diameter it should cover the bottom of the tire, fasten it with self-tapping screws and paint the resulting flower bed in any color. When the paint dries, we set the flower bed in the right place and cover it with earth, plant flowers.

Large flower bed

Necessary materials:

• Three tires
• Gloves
• Wax pencil (you can use chalk)
• sharp knife
• Electric jigsaw or grinder
• Galvanized nails
• Paint (one or more colors)

On each tire we draw petals for cutting, if you use a wax pencil, it will additionally lubricate the incision site. The ends can be made smooth or pointed, cut out the contours of the petals with a knife.

We cut the resulting blanks into two parts with an electric jigsaw, after which we turn each part inside out. We connect the parts in pairs with galvanized nails, and then assemble the flower bed together.

You can also use four parts (two tires) for a flower bed. We paint the flower bed in one or more colors and, after drying, set it on a flat area with the petals up. We fill the inside with soil and plant flowers.

Tire coffee table and ottoman

Materials:

• Plywood
• Tire

• Castors (for version with table)
• Thermal gun

It is necessary to cut out two circles from plywood, with a diameter covering the tire, and fix it on the wheel with self-tapping screws. We wrap the workpiece with a rope so that the layers fit snugly against each other, fixing it with a heat gun. For the top, we twist the rope in a spiral, fix it with a thermal gun.

The ottoman is ready, for the coffee table we fasten the wheels to the bottom. It looks beautiful and unusual, suitable for apartment use, the only drawback can be the weight of the product.

All work must be done with gloves and with extreme care to protect hands from cuts. There are a lot of options for crafts for a vegetable garden from tires, you can make small fences, large flower beds and seedlings from them, they also make garden furniture (tables and chairs), various ottomans on the veranda.

It is possible to make a playground with your own hands using tires. Of these, you can make two types of swings, sandboxes and decorations for the site.

A large sandbox can be made by analogy with the previous master class with a large flower bed, if you add one or two more tires, you get a sandbox for the entire yard.

Swing #1

Necessary materials:

• Tire
• self-tapping screws
• Dye
• Old seat belts

We paint the tire and wait for the paint to dry completely. We close the hole inside the tire with seat belts, fix them with self-tapping screws. On both sides we oblige the tire with chains (strong ropes and cables can be used). We fix the swing on a tree, if there is no suitable place, you can make the basis for a swing from a bar.

Swing #2

Necessary materials:

• Tire
• Board and timber
• Bulgarian
• self-tapping screws
• Dye

For the swing you will need a large wheel, cut it in half. We cut out two beams to strengthen the base of the swing, the size of the width of the tire. From the board we make seats for the swing, the board should protrude 40 cm on both sides. We paint all the blanks in the desired color.

After drying, we insert the beam into the tire, from the side of the cuts and fix it on both sides with self-tapping screws. After that, we evenly expose the board for sitting and fasten it to the reinforcing bars with self-tapping screws. Swing handles can be made from old doorknobs, cable or rope. From the second part of the tire we make the second swing.
