We carefully wind the cut ribbons freely into skeins, without pulling the yarn, which already tends to stretch.

We connect short pieces of ribbons together in the following way.

1. We make small holes at the ends of two ribbons.
2. We pass one tape through a hole on the second tape.
3. We insert the opposite end (without a hole) of the second tape into the hole of the first tape and tighten the yarn.

To be honest, I don’t really like this method, because holes still remain here. When crocheting rugs, such a connection can still be used, but for more elegant products, it is better to sew yarn with a needle and thread to match the yarn.
