Bass bath installation. All the secrets of installing a screen on an acrylic bath

Technical features

Recently, acrylic bathtubs are very popular among buyers. A wide range of plumbing products offers different types of baths. Many modern companies demonstrate quality products that will be easy to use. Among them, the domestic brand Bas stands out, which produces interesting models of whirlpool baths. With the help of them, you can raise the quality of rest to a new level.

Technical features

The Russian company Bas has been delighting its customers with bathtubs, showers and bathroom accessories for over 15 years. The products are manufactured using high-quality Italian equipment in strict accordance with technological parameters and international standards. The products are sold not only in Russia, but also in Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Bas bathtubs are made of high quality acrylic, thanks to which the product is resistant to corrosion and other types of chemical attack. This material is characterized by its plasticity, therefore the manufacture of bathtubs with its help is an easy process, the result of which is characterized by a high level of quality.

The wide assortment of the Bas brand demonstrates classic and modern models of white bathtubs, among which you can definitely choose the most suitable option for small and large bathrooms. Bathtubs are manufactured using two different technologies.

  • The traditional way is “SprayGan”. With it, the acrylic base is reinforced with polyester resin and fiberglass.
  • Method developed by the Italian company SIRTEK. In the manufacture of the frame, a complex two-component composition of high-strength polyurethane foam is used.

The manufacturing process itself includes the formation of the shape of the baths from a polymer multilayer material - ABS sheets. With the help of high-quality equipment, it is given the necessary shape of the future product and acrylic is applied, which will make up 10% of the sheet thickness. Such a product is distinguished by a high degree of strength and shock resistance.

Also, the manufacturer Bas offers its customers a range with a hydromassage function. These products include jets that use targeted water jets to help you achieve total relaxation and maximize your health benefits.

Pros and cons

Bas products have a number of advantages.

  • High quality materials. In the manufacture of products, raw materials from large European manufacturers are used, which have a positive reputation. The color of products does not fade with age, the surface remains smooth, and the frame does not bend under heavy weight.
  • Impact resistance.Manufacturing technologies make the surface of bathtubs resistant to mechanical damage, significantly increasing their service life.
  • Antibacterial surface effect.It prevents bacteria from multiplying in a humid environment, making using the bath even more comfortable and safe.
  • Easy installation. The product manual contains complete installation information. You can easily and quickly install the bath yourself or use the professional assembly service from the company.
  • Convenient operation.The form of the product provides for all the necessary nuances of its use. Smooth lines and necessary recesses for a comfortable pastime and quality rest attract the attention of buyers who value comfort.
  • Hydromassage function. Models with this function make the process even more pleasant, having a positive effect on blood circulation in the body and allowing you to reduce the intensity of cellulite and increase stress resistance.

The disadvantages of products from the Bas brand include some characteristics.

  • Lack of support points.When installing baths of complex shapes, you may encounter the problem of lack of support points for comfortable use of the product. This problem can be solved by contacting the company's service center or by yourself using available tools.
  • Plastic nozzles.Buyers may have problems with injector leaks, which will have to be replaced.
  • Price.For many buyers, the price category for acrylic products seems overpriced, although the manufacturer claims the availability of its products and the ability to choose a model for any budget.

The manufacturer's products have a significant list of advantages, but no one is immune from unpleasant accidents. In any case, Bas consultants are patient with their clients and are ready to delicately solve any problem that arises.

Criterias of choice

The range of sanitary products from the Bas brand is quite large. Among them, you can easily find a bathtub that will meet all the needs of customers. When choosing the right product, the first thing the buyer relies on is the size of his bathroom. Especially for this, the manufacturer's assortment includes products of different dimensions. Sizes on average vary from 1300x700 to 1800x1500 mm. For very small bathrooms, corner pieces can be selected that significantly save space.

The models "Nicole" 170x102 cm and "Fantasy" 150x88 cm have similar characteristics.

Depending on the functionality, conventional acrylic bathtubs and hydromassage models are distinguished. In fact, each model provided in the catalog can be equipped with a hydromassage function, the difference will be only in price.

Another important parameter is the shape of the product. The range of the Bas brand includes such bathtubs as:

  • oval;
  • rectangular;
  • corner;
  • asymmetrical;
  • non-standard.

When choosing, it should be borne in mind that the more complex the product, the more points of support it requires, and the more it is prone to deformation.

Better to stay on more traditional models of oval or rectangular shape. Products are attractive to buyers not only for their appearance and quality. Bas bathtubs are ergonomically shaped and specially designed for the human body and its curves. In such models, it will be pleasant and comfortable to take water procedures.

The weight parameter for acrylic bathtubs does not play a special role, since such products weigh much less than cast iron options and do not cause difficulties with lifting to the floor and during the installation process.

At a stand in a plumbing store or in a photo in an online store, an acrylic bathtub is usually presented as an assembly. Meanwhile, Aquanet products arrive in the regions disassembled, and chain stores often supply them in the form of some kind of “assemble it yourself”. As a result, the question arises, how is the acrylic bathtub installed? .

First task. How to assemble a frame for an acrylic bathtub

Acrylic bathtubs ordered in the Aquanet online store are delivered to the customer with the assembled frame. It remains to install it, if necessary, fix it against the wall using fastening materials. Isolate the junction of the bathtub to the wall using a special self-adhesive plinth or plastic corner, which is attached to sanitary silicone. If the mixer is already installed, then you can use the bathroom immediately. To help those who received the bath in a disassembled state, that is, the bowl is separate from the frame, instructions are given. And here you already need to apply your abilities as a home master.

To make it easier for yourself to assemble the frame, the safest way to quickly and efficiently install an acrylic bathtub is to contact the service department. At Aquanet, this also automatically doubles the hardware warranty. By the way, service specialists can help even if the bath comes to its destination with the frame already assembled. In this case, the craftsmen will level the product in level, connect the drain-overflow, install, if required, the front panel, process the joints with a sealant. That is, they will prepare a turnkey bath, taking into account all the nuances, since they are well aware of the specifics of each model. In this case, the operation of the acrylic bath is possible immediately after the departure of the service technicians.

If you decide to assemble the frame yourself, then it should be borne in mind that the frames are individual for different models of acrylic bathtubs. Moreover, the designs of frames are different not only for asymmetric or angular products with an individual shape, but also for rectangular ones. Therefore, for the installation of each model of acrylic bathtub, a manual has been developed that will help you understand the intricacies of the assembly. It is included with every product purchased from Aquanet.

However, there is also a general procedure that is unified for all models. For example, let's figure it out step by step, how to assemble the frame of a corner acrylic bathtub .

Step 1. Turn the tub upside down and place it on a flat surface that will not damage or scratch the tub. In the corners of the bath, measure a distance of 40 mm from each side to determine the position of the center of the upright.

Step 2. Screw the racks into the MDF mortgages located in the corners of the bath, using two 3.5 * 16 self-tapping screws in each rack.

Step 3. Place the frame on the bottom of the bath so that it does not protrude beyond the dimensions of the bath, and connect it to three vertical posts with a bolt and an M10 nut through holes with a diameter of 13 mm.

Step 4. Screw the frame with 3.5x40 screws to the mortgage at the bottom of the bath in five places.

Step 5. In the MDF mortgages, which are located along the perimeter from the front side, screw the corners to stop the front panel.

Step 6. Insert the supports (flags) for fixing the front panel into the 13 mm holes on the uprights and fix with M10 locknuts.

Step 7. Insert plastic plugs 25x25 into the open parts of the profile pipe.

Step 8.Install the legs in the holes on the frame with a diameter of 13 mm and fix them with nuts. Adjust the feet using a level. The height of the leg should be 640 mm.

Step 9. Install the front panel between the corners and the side of the bathtub so that there is an angle of 90 degrees between the panel and the bathtub. At the same distance from the side of the bath, it is required to drill holes in the panel with a diameter of 8 mm opposite the flags.

Step 10.Screw on the panel with 3.5x40 self-tapping screws, then screw on the decorative part of the plug.

Attention! According to SNiP (Building Norms and Regulations), the height of the acrylic bath from the floor to the top of the bath should be 60 centimeters. If the bathroom is used by children, disabled people and the elderly, then this figure is less - 50 cm.

The second task. How to install an acrylic bathtub on legs

Budget bath models, as a rule, are installed on the so-called eco-legs, and not on the frame. They come with a bathroom. You need to mount them yourself. Each model comes with instructions. But let's figure it out together in all the nuances of installing a bathtub on legs:

Step 1. On M12 studs L \u003d 200 mm, screw M12 nuts (lock nuts) from both sides to a distance of 3-4 cm. Then, on one side, screw on the M12 legs made of black plastic and fix them with lock nuts.

Step 2. Place the bathtub upside down on a clean, flat surface. Measure the protruding embedded part of the bath and mark the middle.

Step 3.Place the first supporting profile of the frame at the bottom of the tub, 50 mm away from the edge of the mortgage. Connect the middle of the bearing profile with the middle of the mortgage and screw it in four places with 4.0 * 20 self-tapping screws, as on fig. 1.

Step 4. Measure 10 mm on the drain side and install a second support profile

Connect the middle of the profile with the middle of the mortgage and screw it in four places with 4.0 * 20 screws.

Step 5.Install the legs in the holes with a diameter of 13 mm in the support profile. From the side where the front panel will be installed, install the fastening flag with an M12 washer and an M12 nut. On the other side, install the legs and fix with an M12 nut, as on fig. 2.

Step 6.Adjust the feet in height. The recommended leg height is 160 mm from the frame.

Attention! When installing the bath, the front panel, if it is already installed, must be removed. It must be attached to the product last.

The third task. How to fix an acrylic bathtub

Perhaps the simplest of the tasks. With a solid frame for installing the bathtub, it is usually not attached to the wall. But for inner peace of mind, and especially if you put the bath on eco-legs, it is better to provide a reliable fastening. To do this, you need to perform a number of actions.

Step 1. Measure the height from the floor to the edge of the bath side and mark the attachment points for the corners (see. fig. 3).

Step 2. With a 6 mm drill, make holes in the marked places and install the dowels, where the fastening corners should be screwed.

Attention! The bathtub should not hang on the brackets. To prevent this, you can adjust the height of the bath with the legs.

The fourth task. How to install the front panel

If you are not plastering the bathtub with drywall and do not plan to mount it on a podium, then it is best to cover the front with a front panel.

Step 1. For the top fastening of the front panel (if provided), screw the mounting angles (4 pieces) with 4 * 16 self-tapping screws into the inserts located along the perimeter from the front side of the bath. When installing the mounting bracket, provide a distance to the side of the bath, which is equal to the thickness of the front panel.

Step 2.Screw the M10 nut onto the front panel fastening flags (M10 stud with welded perforated plate). Insert into the holes of the frame corners and fix so that when installing the panel there is an angle of 90 degrees between the panel and the bath rim.

Step 3.Install the front panel between the mounting angles and the front of the bath rim. Align the panel. Drill two 8 mm holes at the level of the flags and at the same distance from the edge of the front panel. Screw the front panel with self-tapping screws 4 * 16 with the threaded part of the plug to the fastening flags and screw on the decorative part of the plug.

Attention! If you ordered a model with hydromassage equipment, then you need to take care of making grounding an acrylic bath.

Our old jacuzzi began to smell completely, the hydromassage itself had been muted for a long time, one nozzle burst, in general, in the trash, so that I could buy this jacuzzi again ...

The question arose which bath to buy. It will be about choosing an acrylic bathtub without hydromassage in size from 140cm-155cm, an angular design, symmetrical, as it is also called "a part or a quarter of a circle." Hydromassage has disappeared according to previous operating experience, I will not spread for a long time, in general - no hydromassage!

Further, the study of the market for acrylic baths began. I certainly did not really understand what is the difference between an acrylic bathtub for 10tr and 50tr, acrylic and acrylic. Therefore, I began to study the very bottom of the market, such brands as Triton (Triton), BAS (BAS), Aquatek, Appollo, 1Marka, maybe some other non-names or individual models of more expensive brands. I came across a sale Apollo bath with glass headrests, a mixer for 13tr in total, but our mixer sticks out of the wall and no one is interested in redoing it, in general it has disappeared.

A separate conversation is online shopping. It seems that people don’t need money ... On the first visit, I didn’t manage to buy any bathtub, even to talk especially about something. The answer was call back and silence. Summer season, spat went to the country. There he occasionally returned to this question.

After much research, again, what size is the bathtub 140cm or 155cm, whether you need a seat in the bathtub so that everything is complete (frame, front panel, etc.) or separately. In general, we went to the model of the manufacturer BAS XATIVA (Khativa), 143x143cm. And the size is what you need and there is a seat, and a huge bottom area. We have two small children, it’s just for them to splash there. And the price was 12800r. a complete set with delivery and lifting to the floor. I finally got through to the BAS brand store and lo and behold everything was in stock there and it was possible to place an order. The order was completed for a week, but was completed within a clearly specified time frame.

Installation of a bathtub BAS XATIVA (Khativa). Installers friendly to the online store were called, everything was well ripped out, thrown out, a new one was installed. BUT! The bathtub was installed, and a thin layer of sealant was walked around the walls, I thought to put tiles there, but during trial operation, the bathtub began to bend inward with peeling from the wall. Those. it's good that I didn't put the tiles, everything would have fallen off. Those. the bathtub does not have sufficient rigidity on its own frame; there was clearly not enough support in the center of the bottom. Here I probably realized the difference between a bathroom for 10tr and 30tr. I called the same installers, after a short bickering, it was decided to fill up the perimeter with a sealant and put additional support from available means. In general, now there are no problems with deformation with the eye, everything is tough. Additional support helped.

In principle, they are satisfied with the bathroom, as naturally with any new bathroom, with some reservations about the design clearly not finalized. Next time I will take a closer look at the construction and thickness of the acrylic!

Step 1. We print the purchased bathtub and the factory frame and lay it out on a clean floor, having previously laid a soft cloth or cardboard. In the set of fasteners you will find short and long metal profiles, self-tapping screws, legs and pads for them (thrust bearings), dowels, pins, washers, nuts, stands. Depending on the configuration, the number of parts may be different, for example, there are more metal profiles in the reinforced frame, or the bathtub is supplied immediately with an all-welded frame.

Usually, holes have already been drilled in the fittings and dowels are inserted. This eliminates the need to mark and drill holes yourself.

Acrylic bathtubs for the most part are installed not only on the frame, but are also fixed along the line of abutment to the walls with metal hanging hooks.

If the kit does not include drain fittings, it must be purchased, taking into account the height of the legs and comparing it with the dimensions of the siphon.

For work, you will definitely need screwdrivers, wrenches and pliers. Also, don't forget the silicone based sealant, bubble level, tape measure, and pencil.

Step 2. We start by assembling the frame and legs. We turn the bath over without removing the protective film from the inner surface. We provide easy access to either side of the bowl.

Using long self-tapping screws, we connect the profiles. We rely on the instructions attached to the acrylic bath and the correspondence of the holes in the longitudinal reinforcement with the dowels installed in the transverse strips.

Place the assembled frame exactly in the center of the bath bottom.

Step 3. We proceed to the installation of the legs. We will install three pieces on the front edge of the bath, two - under the bottom of the bowl and two more at the edge that will adjoin the wall.

We begin to fasten the racks with the profile and the side of the bath. We install the stand on the side, screw the first long hairpin into it, and a nut onto the hairpin. Insert the resulting stud with the rack into the hole of the longitudinal metal profile. We fix the stud with a nut and a locknut. We fasten the plastic support-support from above.

Similarly, we collect the remaining support legs. We adjust the height of the legs depending on the dimensions of the decorative screen. The approximate height from the floor to the edge of the side board should be 60 cm.

For the legs located under the bottom of the bath, short hairpins are intended. We insert them into the holes of the transverse profiles, fasten them with nuts and screw on the plastic supports.

Step 4. Check the assembled frame with a bubble level.

If necessary, tighten the studs with a wrench, leveling the position.

We take short self-tapping screws and fasten the racks to the sides of the bath.

Step 5. Turn the bath over. We take the level and once again double-check the horizontality of the sides. There is no need to make slopes for better water flow.

Step 6. Now you can connect the siphon with overflow, relying on the manufacturer's instructions. The general principle for connecting revision siphons (strapping) of the knee type is as follows:

Note! Before the stage of the final installation of the bath and the screen, you can insulate the bottom of the bowl with polyurethane foam, applying it in a thin stream to the sides, the bottom and partially capturing the fasteners in order to additionally fix them.

Step 7. When the siphon is assembled and the bath is level, it remains to make markings on the walls, drill holes and fix brackets or hooks on the wall that will hold the bath. We put the edge of the bath on these hooks, and insert the free end of the thick corrugation of the siphon into the sewer hole. After docking, we apply a strip of silicone sealant to the place where the bath adjoins to the wall and attach the plinth or protective strip.

Note! To check the quality of the siphon installation and the correct installation of the structure, you should take a full bath of cold water and wait a few hours. If no leaks or distortions are found, you can drain the water, install a decorative screen and use the bathroom. Otherwise, you will have to disassemble and assemble all products in order to eliminate defects.

Step 8. Install the decorative screen. Clips are included. First, the upper fasteners are screwed, after which the opposite ones are the lower ones. The decorative panel simply snaps onto them.

Attach the squeeze plates to the embedded elements, setting a distance of 2 mm between the side of the bath and the edge of the squeezing plate

You can also make a frame for a decorative panel from wooden bars or metal profiles.

Installing the bathtub on bricks

Don't have a factory frame? Not a problem! We can install acrylic bathtub on bricks. This option is even more reliable than the method of installing the bath on a factory-made frame.

The support can be solid or columnar.

Installing the bathtub on a solid brick substrate

First step. We temporarily install the bathtub in the place of its future installation and project the drain hole onto the base. This will allow us to leave a gap in the substrate for connection.

Step two. We spread the bricks on the area of \u200b\u200bthe entire supporting part of the container. We select the height so that the sides of the bathtub rise above the floor by no more than 600 mm. At the same time, we take into account that we will still have a 2-3 cm pillow made of polyurethane foam.

We lay the bricks on traditional cement mortar.

Step three. We assemble a plywood frame around the perimeter of the brickwork. The height of such sheets should exceed the masonry by the thickness of the foam backing. Do not forget to leave the drain hole empty.

Fourth step. Foam the surface of the substrate evenly with polyurethane foam, without going beyond the frame. Immediately apply pre-prepared sheet plywood onto the foam. We use moisture resistant sheets 10 mm thick.

Fifth step. Close the drain of the acrylic bathtub tightly. At the same stage, we prepare about a liter of water and wooden supports to adjust the level of the container installation.

Sixth step. Pour the previously prepared water into the container and set the bath on a substrate at the building level.

Seventh step. Until the polyurethane foam hardens, adjust the evenness of the bath installation using the props. As a result, the water in the tank should be evenly distributed around the drain, and the level should show "0".

Eighth step. Putting the bath on a level, pour water into it about half the volume. Under the weight of water, the foam will not be able to raise the container, and the bath itself will take the required slope.

Ninth step. Let the foam dry and remove the bath. If the edges of the container must be recessed into the wall, we first outline the contour of the edge on the surface, and then make a recess in the wall for the edge of the bath. A puncher will help us with this. If the arrangement of the groove is not provided (this is not recommended if the walls are made of blocks, drywall or other light material), at the level of the lower cut, we simply fix the impregnated timber, or a steel corner. We will additionally reinforce the support bar at the end with stops.

Tenth step. We return our container to its place and connect it to the sewer. Blow out the cracks between the container and the bricks with foam. We install a decorative screen and skirting boards.

An example of a bathtub installed on bricks with mosaic trim

First step. We bring the container into the bathroom.

Step two. We mark the base at the place where the brick supports are installed. The most correct option is to erect pillars closer to the edges of the bend of the acrylic bath. If the container is long, an additional support can be erected in the middle.

Step three. Having outlined the places for laying the supports, we proceed to the preparation of the cement mortar. We don't cook too much - we have to lay out no more than 20 bricks, so we don't need extra expenses.

Fourth step. Let's start laying. We spread the support for the back of the bath to a height of 190 mm, and erect the pillar for the front edge of the tank by 170 mm. The height of the middle support, if needed, is selected according to the situation, depending on the design of the bath being installed. The difference in the height of the pillars will provide conditions for an efficient drainage of water from the tank.

Important note! Many modern acrylic bathtubs initially have a sloped bottom to allow water drainage. If you have such a bathtub, we set all the supports in level, focusing on the upper part.

Fifth step. We give the masonry about a day to dry and install the bath. We set the container slowly, pushing it tightly against the walls. Fill the gaps between the bricks and the bathroom with sealant.

If desired, you can additionally fix the bathtub to the wall using dowels and a metal profile. Such a mount is rarely used, but it still occurs.

After making sure of the correctness, stability and evenness of the bathtub installation, we connect the sewage system, install, mount the decorative screen and lay the plinth on the bathtub.

Tiling and finishing work to be completed;

The possibility of easy access to the units and assemblies of the bath for its preventive warranty service and repair must be provided;

The presence of a power line with the required parameters and a socket with a connected grounding contact. The power supply to the bath connection point must be carried out with a double-insulated electric cable with a cross-section of at least 2.5 mm2 and is in accordance with the norms and standards of the EEC;

The presence of water supply and sewerage. The sewer pipe of the bathroom should not rise more than 10 cm above the floor at the connection point. If this is not possible, then a podium must be provided under the bath;

BATH INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Bath installation should be carried out only by qualified specialists, in compliance with the following requirements:

Installing a bathtub without a frame, as well as with a modified frame, is not allowed. The legs are used for leveling the bath and adjusting the gap between the bath panel and the floor. The bath should rest on all support points in order to exclude uneven load distribution and, as a result, the appearance of microcracks in the bath body;

Bathtubs must not be embedded in tiles, panels or rigid mortars. To avoid getting moisture under the bath or on the hydromassage equipment, the seams between the bath and the wall must be sealed with sanitary silicone.

Avoid getting dirt and construction dust on the bath surface. This can cause clogging and malfunction of the hydromassage equipment or lead to scratches on the surface of the bathtub, with subsequent unprofessional cleaning.

When carrying out work on the withdrawal of water supply and sewerage pipes, it is necessary to take into account the linear dimensions of the bath. Otherwise, the connection may be difficult, since the pipe outlets can rest against the stiffeners, units and fittings of the bath, and the bath cannot be installed close to the walls. Constructive changes in the arrangement of equipment and piping of the bath, cutting of fastening clamps, and so on are strictly prohibited.

The wiring of the room must have an individual differential switch 30mA, magnetothermo 2.4-4A or other common connection (CEI-64-8) and installed in the common room board. It is strictly forbidden to install the specified switch under the bathroom!

ATTENTION! Failure to comply or not in full compliance with the above requirements does not preserve the warranty terms of service or repair for such a bath.

BATH INSTALLATION

Install the bathtub on the legs (Fig. 1) The manufacturing company allows the legs to be equipped with an M12 bolt instead of the corresponding threaded rods. Bundle legs AND(fig. 1) (2 pcs.) - installed from the front (front) side of the bath, along the edges, left and right (for bath " RIVIERA"- 4 pcs., All in front). Picking legs B(fig. 1) - other remaining front and rear legs. The legs are attached to the frame with an upper pair of M12 nuts, which also serve to adjust the height of the bath.

Install a waste-overflow device (fig. 2), a siphon (may not be included in the kit) on the bathtub, and adjust the bathtub in height. The distance from the floor level to the bottom point of the siphon must be at least 15 mm. Make sure the tub is adjusted and rests on all support points.

Place the panel on the bath by snapping it onto the upper mounts (fig. 6 and 7). On some models of symmetrical and asymmetric BAS bathtubs, it is possible to cut panels to length (no more than 2 cm per side). In addition, if you plan to install a side panel on your bathtub, then first install the top mounts that come with the side panel in the kit under it. Adjust the verticality of the panel. The bottom of the panel should adjoin the plane of the embedded corner, installed on the extreme legs. The seating depth of the angle is regulated by the lower pair of M12 nuts. The corners should be equally adjusted in height with each other, and be symmetrical with respect to the panel.

Using a 3.5 mm drill (the size is indicated for a 4.2x25 mm self-tapping screw), drill through holes in the bottom corners and panel (Fig. 4 and 5).

Remove the panel from the bathtub and connect it to the sewerage and water supply systems (see Connecting the bathtub to the water supply and sewerage network), as well as to the 220 V electrical network (see Connecting the bath to the electrical network). After that, gently slide the bathtub firmly against the wall, and once again make sure that it is stable at all points of support, and all connections are made correctly.

6. Install the panel on the bathtub and fix its bottom into the drilled holes with a self-tapping screw with a press washer (Fig. 8).

7. Close the screw head with a decorative plug (fig. 9).

ATTENTION! TO REDUCE THE CONTACT OF MOISTURE INTO THE BATHROOM, PERFORM MANDATORY PROCESSING OF THE SEAMS WITH SANITARY SILICONE ALL OVER THE PERIMETER OF THE BATHROOM!

CONNECTING THE BATH TO THE WATER AND SEWERAGE NETWORK

The connection of the bath to the water supply and sewerage network must be done by a qualified plumber.

The bath set includes a semi-automatic drain device, which, after installing it on the bath, is permanently connected to the sewer network through a flexible corrugated or rigid PVC pipe (not included in the set). Sewer drain with a diameter of 40-50 mm is led out at the place of installation of the bath in the floor or wall, taking into account the linear dimensions of the bath. When the drain of the drain pipe is located in the wall, the optimal height is considered to be a distance of no more than 2 cm from the floor level to the lower edge of the pipe.

Connecting the bath to the water supply network if it is equipped with a mortise mixer. The network pressure should be 3-5 atm. At pressures over 5 atm., It is necessary to install pressure reducers and adjust them to the specified standards.

Places for connection to the water supply system should be located taking into account the linear dimensions of the bath and its units and equipped with taps that isolate from the main line. Connection to the system is via flexible plumbing pipes (water supply hoses). The length of the hoses should allow the bath to be displaced from the walls and the distance is at least 0.5 m. Recommended use of water purification filters. The lack of filters can clog the hydromassage nozzles and get metal scale into the ceramic cartridge of the mixer, which will lead to their failure.

ATTENTION!Mortise mixers are completed with a set of standard sample flexible connections. If the length of the flexible hose is not enough to connect to the system or to connect between the elements of the mixer, it must be purchased separately, taking into account your dimensions for connection. The manufacturer of the bath is not responsible for the nature of the set of the in-line mixers, for damage to the elements of the hydromassage system caused by their contamination when using unfiltered water containing rust, sand, chemically active impurities, as well as for breakdowns or incorrect operation of the bath equipment connected to the system water supply with non-standard pressure in it.

Leave the bath unattended while filling it with water. Overfilling the bath with water can lead to failure of the air massage system, without maintaining the warranty conditions of the product.

Rotate the drain-overflow cover around its axis or when the weight is on the bath plug.

CONNECTING THE BATH TO THE ELECTRIC MAINS

The electrical equipment of the bath is powered from an alternating single-phase current, in accordance with the table below.

Function Voltage, V Frequency, Hz Power, kWt*
Hydromassage 220/240 50 0,9-1,5
Aeromassage 220/240 50 0,7-0,9

* power is indicated depending on the bath model

The connection of the bath to the electrical network must be made by a qualified technician with a 3rd and higher tolerance group. The procedure for connecting whirlpools to the network:

Green-yellow wire - "ground";

Brown wire - "phase";

Blue wire - "zero";

The bath must be powered only through a separate residual current device (RCD), rated 30 mA and located outside the bathroom.

A detachable type of connection of the bath to a 220 V network is allowed. Depending on the configuration of the bath, elements of the hydromassage equipment may not be equipped with electrical plugs for connection. In this case, they are purchased separately and installed independently. Each unit of equipment intended to be connected to the mains must have an individual connection to the mains.

Connect the units together, in one plug, etc.

Use a bathtub with an outlet or plug that does not have a good grounding connection.

Ground the bathtub through heating, plumbing, and sewerage equipment.

Operating the bath with a damaged power cord or with a faulty or unconnected ground.

Carry out technical work with the bath turned on.

BATHROOM CONTROL

Bath functions are controlled using the following equipment:

AND) Hydromassage nozzles (jets).

Provides adjustment of the direction and strength of the hydromassage jets. The direction of the jet can be easily changed by rotating the nozzle nozzle within a 30-degree angle. The power of the water jet is regulated by turning the nozzle around its axis. Maximum jet flow is achieved by fully opening the jet nozzle counterclockwise (open nozzle).

B)On / off button Hydromassage functions with an air supply regulator (RPV). Provides on / off. hydromassage system by pressing the center. The RPV measures the amount of air mixed with the water jet during the operation of the hydromassage system due to the injection process. By turning the knob, you can change the amount of air flowing in with the jet of water from the hydromassage nozzles. The power of the jet increases with the introduction of air into it.

IN)On / off button Air massage functions (chromotherapy lighting). Provides on / off the air massage system. When switched on, the compressor pumps air under pressure through the air nozzles installed at the bottom of the bath. At the same time, small air bubbles break out to the surface, massage and enrich the skin with oxygen. Can be used for on / off. Highlights chromotherapy.

D)Balance crane (turbopool).

It switches the operating modes of the hydromassage system between the general hydromassage function and the back massage function (Shiatsu massage). Adjust the desired water distribution with the indicated functions by turning the "flag" of the selector switch.

D)Electronic control panel for bath functions (no. 2).

HOW TO USE THE HYDROMASSAGE BATHS

ATTENTION! Never turn on the whirlpool until the water reaches a level 5-6 cm above the jets of the main whirlpool. Avoid high heat exposure (above 65 degrees Celsius) on the surface of the product - this can lead to damage! It is forbidden to turn on the hydromassage function with closed jet nozzles. Before turning on the hydromassage system, make sure that the jet nozzles are not directed upwards and that the balance valve is not in the back massage (Shiatsu massage) position. During the operation of the hydromassage, it is forbidden to block the grill of the water intake valve, preventing water from entering it. After using the bath and draining the water, it is recommended to purge the air massage jets by turning on the air massage function for 1 minute.

Never use the bathroom after taking alcohol or medication. Hydromassage for medicinal purposes can only be carried out on the advice of a doctor, who will select the appropriate duration of sessions and water temperature for you.

Taking a cold bath, you strengthen your health, a warm or slightly hot bath, you relieve stress. To relax muscles and relieve pain, take a bath up to 40 degrees Celsius. The first hydromassage session, which should only be carried out in warm water, should last no more than 10 minutes

The effect of water jet massage is directly proportional to the temperature of the water and the duration of the session. After taking a bath for too long, you may feel tired. And, if taking a bath, you feel sleepy - turn off the hydromassage device for a while and cool the water.

Overweight people are not recommended to use whirlpool baths with water temperatures exceeding 38 degrees Celsius.

BATHROOM CARE

For daily cleaning of the bathtub, use a liquid cleaner that is harmless to acrylic and plastic surfaces (see the cleaning instructions for the cleaning agent) and a soft cloth. The manufacturing company offers you a specialized cleaning agent "TIM-PROFI" adapted to our products. To maintain the shine of the bathtub, it can be wiped clean with a polishing cloth. Use only soft cloths to wash the bathtub.

Scale deposits on the surface are removed with a soft cloth dampened with lemon juice or wine vinegar.

Scratches or burn marks from cigarettes that appear on the surface are removed by light cleaning with fine-grained sandpaper (No. 1000/2000) and water. You can restore the shine of the surface with a liquid polish.

ATTENTION!Never use metal brushes or tools, or solvents or abrasive detergents to remove dirt from the surface of the spa. Also, avoid getting ammonia or chlorine on brass and chrome parts.

CLEANING THE BATH HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

This type of cleaning when using hard water (more than 15 salt deposits per 1 cubic meter of water). In addition, it is recommended to clean the bath hydraulic system. twice a year in the following way:

Fill the bathtub with hot water (40 degrees Celsius).

Pour in liquid detergent at the rate of 2 g per 1 liter of water and run the whirl system for about 5 minutes.

Then turn off the hydraulic pump and drain the bath.

Fill the tub again with cold water and turn on the hydromassage for 2 minutes.

Drain and wash the bathtub (see “Taking care of the bathroom”).
