God Rod

God Rod - personification of the multitude of all the Light Gods and our many-wise Ancestors

The Highest God Rod is One and Multiple at the same time.

When we talk about all the Ancient Gods and our Great and Wise Ancestors: Ancestors, Great-Grandfathers, Grandfathers and Fathers, we say - this is my KIND.

We turn to him when we need Spiritual and Soul support of the Light Gods and Ancestors, for our Gods are our Fathers, and we are their children.

The Highest God Rod is, the eternal symbol of blood relationship, the embodiment of the inviolability of all Slavic and Aryan Clans and Tribes, their constant interaction and mutual assistance to each other.

When a person from the Great Race or a descendant of the Heavenly Clan is born on Midgard-Earth, his future fate is recorded in the Santia or Haratya of God the Clan, also called the Book of the Clan.

Therefore, in all the Clans of Orthodox ancestors they say: "What is written in the Clan, no one can escape!" or "What is written with a pen in the Haratya of the God of the Sort cannot be cut down with an ax"

The Highest God Rod is the Patron God of the Hall of Busla (Stork) in the Svarog Circle. This served to create a folk allegorical Image that Busel

(Stork) from Svarga of the Most Pure One brings children to prolong our Slavic and Aryan Clans.

Hymn-Rule:

Great God Rod, You are our Patron! Glorious and Trislaven wake up! We glorify you forever, glorify you to all our Clans! May Your help not run dry in all our GOOD and constructive deeds, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

Virgin Rozhana

Virgin Rozhana - (Mother Rodikha, Rozhanitsa). The eternally young Heavenly Mother of God.

Goddess of family wealth, Mental wealth and Comfort. Rozhany made special sacrifices with food: pancakes, pancakes, breads, cereals, honey and honey kvass.

The ancient Slavic-Aryan cult of the Virgin Rozhany, like other cults dedicated to the Theotokos and Goddesses, is associated with female ideas about the continuation of the Family and the fate of a newborn baby, to whom Destiny is determined.

The Heavenly Mother of God Rozhana at all times Patronized not only pregnant women, but also young girls, until they underwent the rites of majority and naming at the age of twelve *.

* at the age of twelve - the age of 12 was not chosen by our Ancestors by chance, this is 108 months of the Slavic-Aryan calendar, the period of growing up and gaining initial life experience. In addition, the height of the child by this age reached 124 cm, or, as they said in ancient times, seven spans in the forehead. Before passing the Rites, any child, regardless of gender, was called a child and was under the protective protection of his parents, who were responsible for him. After passing the Rites of Majority and Naming at the age of 12, the child became a full member of the Community and was responsible for all his words and deeds.

God Vyshen is the Patron God of the Hall of Finist in the Svarog Circle.

But at the same time, He is kind to those who observe the Heavenly Laws of the Universe and do not allow others to violate them. He helps the persistent to win in the fight against the dark forces that bring evil and ignorance, flattery and deceit, the desire of a stranger and the humiliation of one living being to another to all the Worlds.

God the Highest endows people moving along the Path of Spiritual Development and Perfection with the ability to reflect on various aspects of Life, both Earthly and subsequent, and draw the correct appropriate conclusions; feel when people speak insincerely or intentionally, in pursuit of some selfish interests, lie.

God Svarog

God Svarog - The Supreme Heavenly God, governing the flow of our Life and the entire World Order of the Universe in the Explicit World.

The Great God Svarog is the Father for many ancient Light Gods and Goddesses, therefore the Orthodox ancestors called them all Svarozhichi, i.e. Children of God Svarog.

God Svarog, as a loving Father, takes care not only of his Heavenly children and grandchildren, but also of people from all Clans of the Great Race, who are descendants of the Ancient Svarozhichs, the Light Heavenly Gods on Midgard-Earth.

But our Great and wise Ancestors, in addition to the Children and Grandchildren of the Highest God Svarog, also called the Heavenly Luminaries - the Suns and Stars *, as well as any Heavenly body that appeared in the Sky and sometimes fell from Heaven to Earth (meteorites, fireballs, etc.) etc.).

* Suns and Stars - for the Slavs and Aryans, these two concepts were different. The Suns were the Luminaries around which more than 8 Earths (planets) revolved in their orbits, and the Stars were called the Stars around which no more than 7 Earths (planets) or small Luminaries (dwarf Stars) revolved in their orbits.

The highest God Svarog loves nature very much and protects various plants and the most beautiful, rare flowers.

God Svarog is the Guardian and Patron of the Heavenly Vyri (Slavic-Aryan Garden of Eden), planted around the Heavenly Asgard (City of the Gods), in which all kinds of trees, plants and the most beautiful, rarest flowers from all the ghostly (i.e. controlled ) to him the Universe.

But Svarog cares not only about Heavenly Vyri, and Heavenly Asgard, but also cares about the Nature of Midgard-Earth and other similar Light Lands located at the Border between the Light and Dark Worlds, on which He created beautiful Gardens, similar to Heavenly Vyri.

The fruitful power of the rays of the Yarila-Sun and rain showers sent by Svarog to Midgard-Earth warms and nourishes the flora and fauna of the terrestrial Garden-Vyriya near Asgard of Irian, and also warms and nourishes the flora and fauna of all Midgard.

The Supreme God Svarog provides the necessary plant food for birds and animals. He indicated to people what food they need to grow to feed their Clans and what food they need to feed tamed birds and animals.

Together with his daughters, Shares and Underdols, he determines the Fates of the Heavenly Gods, as well as the fates of all people from the Great Race and all descendants of the Heavenly Clan living on our Midgard-Earth and on all other beautiful Lands of the Most Pure Svarga, weaving the Threads of Fate for each of them ...

Therefore, many people turned to Goddess Makosha to entrust her youngest daughter, Goddess Dole, to weave the Thread of Fate into a ball.

The goddess Makosh at all times was a very attentive and caring Patroness of weaving and all kinds of handicrafts, and also made sure that a good harvest grew in the fields where the orachs (peasants) put their Souls into their hard work.

It should be remembered that the great Heavenly Goddess Makosh is not only the Patroness Goddess of growth and fertility, as many might think, but the Goddess who gives hardworking and diligent people a good harvest.

To those Clans from the Great Race and to all the descendants of the Heavenly Clan, who were not lazy, but worked in the fields, in orchards and gardens in the sweat of their brow, putting their Soul into their hard work, the Goddess Makosh sent her youngest daughter - the blond Goddess Dolya.

The same people who worked poorly and carelessly in their fields (no matter what kind of Clan he was) got a bad harvest. Therefore, the people said that "from Makosh Dol came the harvest to measure" or "Makosh sent the harvest to Nedol to measure."

For hardworking people, the Goddess Makosh is the giver of all sorts of benefits, therefore, on the Images and Idols of the Goddess Makosh, she was very often depicted with the Horn of Plenty or its symbolic image in the form of the Heavenly Bucket of Seven Stars *.

* Heavenly Bucket of Seven Stars - the constellation Ursa Major, in the Slavic-Aryan cosmogonic system, this constellation is called Makosh, i.e. Bucket's mother.

Orthodox ancestors, invariably following all the instructions of the Goddess Makosha, strive for a calm and measured life, for the ancient traditional way of life, for sensual empathy and hard work.

Goddess Makosh controls the Hall of the Heavenly Swan in the Svarog Circle. Therefore, the Goddess Makosh is very often depicted in the form of a White Swan, floating on the endless Sea-Ocean, i.e. in the sky.

In honor of the Wise Heavenly Mother of God, the Slavs and Arias erected Great Kumirs and Temples, for the Goddess Makosh personified not only fate, luck, prosperity in the Slavic Clans, observing the laws and commandments of the Ancient Light Gods, people also turned to her with a request to multiply their Ancient Family, .e. asked for more children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Hymn-Rule:

God Velez

God Velez - God is the Patron of pastoralists and livestock breeders, as well as the Patron Saint of the Western Slavs - the Scots (Scots), therefore they have been telling everyone from the centuries that "Veles is a cattle God".

Having moved to the British Isles, the ancient Clans of the Slavs - Scots named all the inhabited provinces - the Land of the Scots - Scotland (Scotland), and in honor of their ancestral Patron God Veles they named the lands with the best pastures after him - Wales (Wales, i.e. Veles ).

Since Veles is the Patron God and Ruler of the Heavenly Hall of the Wolf in the Svarog Circle, which is located next to the Heavenly Border separating the Worlds of Light and Darkness, the High Gods entrusted Veles to be the supreme Guardian of the Heavenly Gates of the Interworld. This Heavenly Gate is located on the Golden Path of Spiritual Development, which leads to Heavenly Asgard, as well as to Heavenly Vyri and to the Light Halls of Volhalla.

God Veles always personifies all-round solicitude, painstaking creative diligence, honesty and decisiveness, perseverance, constancy and master's wisdom, the ability to be responsible for all his deeds, spoken words and committed deeds.

God Veles, guarding the Heavenly Gates of the Interworld, lets into Svarga the Most Pure Souls only those deceased who did not spare their lives in defense of their Clans, in defense of the lands of Fathers and Grandfathers, in defense of the ancient Faith, who worked hard and constructively for the prosperity of their Clans and who From the bottom of their hearts they followed the Two Great Principles: It is sacred to honor your Gods and Ancestors and who lived according to Conscience in harmony with Mother Nature.

Goddess Marena (Mara)

Goddess Marena (Mara) - Great Goddess of Winter, Night and Eternal Sleep and Eternal Life.

The Goddess Marena, or Marena Svarogovna, is one of the three named sisters of the Many-wise God Perun.

Very often she is called the Goddess of Death, terminating the earthly life of man in the Explicit World, but this is not entirely true.

The Goddess Marena does not stop human life, but gives the people of the Race Eternal Life in the World of Glory.

It is believed that the Great Goddess Marena has Ice Halls in the far north of Midgard-Earth, in which She loves to rest after wandering around Svarga the Purest.

When the Goddess Marena comes to Midgard-Earth, all Nature falls asleep, retires, plunging into a long three-month sleep, for it is said in the Santii Veda of Perun: “The Great Cooling will bring the Da'Aryan wind to this earth, and Marena will cover her for a third of the Summer with his White Cloak ”(Santia 5, sloka 3).

And when Marena Svarogovna leaves for her Ice Halls, on the second day after the day of the Spring Equinox, Nature and a diverse life awaken. In honor of the seeing off of the Goddess Marena to the North, the Krasnogor holiday, the Day of Maslenitsa-Marena, is annually celebrated, also called the Wires of the Goddess of Winter (the modern name is Seeing Off the Russian Winter).

On this day, a doll made of straw is burned, symbolizing not the Goddess Marena, as many think, but snowy Winter. After the ritual of burning a straw doll, a handful of ash was scattered over a field, orchard or vegetable garden, so that a good, rich harvest would grow. For, as our Ancestors said: “The Goddess Vesta came to Midgard-Earth, brought new life to Krasnogor, ignited the fire and melted the winter snows, gave the whole earth to drink and woke Marena from sleep. Mother of Cheese Earth will give life-giving force to our fields, there will be selected grain in our fields to sprout, so that all our Clans - a good harvest ”.

But the Goddess Marena, in addition to observing the rest of Nature on Midgard-Earth, when Mother Nature is gaining life-giving strength for the spring awakening and the life of plants and animals, also observes the life of people. And when the time comes for people from the Clans of the Great Race to set off on a long journey along the Golden Path, the Goddess Marena gives instructions to every deceased person in accordance with his earthly Spiritual and worldly life, as well as in accordance with the creative experience he has received, in which direction he should continue his posthumous The path to the World of Navi or the World of Glory.

The goddess Marena is the Patroness of the Fox Hall in the Svarog Circle.

Grant us prosperity in all our deeds, and save our cattle from the pestilence, and do not let our granaries empty, for Thy generosity is great, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Rada - the daughter of the Lady of the Sea and the Sun God Ra lived on the Sunny Island. Glad was so beautiful that they began to talk as if she was the clearest of the Sun. Upon learning of this, the Sun God Ra arranged a contest with his daughter - who shines brighter? And after the competition, everyone decided that the Sun shines brighter in the sky, and Rada on Earth.

Rada can be seen after torrential summer rains and thunderstorms in the blue sky - at these minutes Rada comes for a short while in one of the most important and vivid images of her own, in the form of a seven-colored rainbow, stretching half the sky and delighting all those who look at the rainbow with its beauty.

I must say that the main vocation of the Rada is to bring joy to people. And the very name of her later gave rise to this word - "joy". And yet it is not the rainbow that is the true appearance of this light goddess. Rada's true appearance is a beautiful young girl. She usually appears somewhere in a forest or in a meadow, often near a river or lake, which emphasizes the proximity of the water element, at dawn or before sunset. Glad smiles at everyone she meets during her walks.

These thirty Light Guardian Gods make up the mighty Heavenly squad of the Thunder God Indra, whose purpose is to protect the Frontiers of the Light Worlds.

The Supreme God Indra has always been the patron saint for the vonn-defenders of the Fatherland, as well as for all the Priests-Priests from the most ancient Clans, in which the Ancient Sacred Vedas are kept.

Indra participates not only in the Heavenly battles with the Dark Forces - in ancient times, He helped the Slavic and Aryan men and squads in fair battles with enemy forces, which attacked various cities and villages of the Great Race.

In addition, it is believed that God Indra brings down rushing streams of rain from the cloudy mountains and collecting them into special containers, creates earthly springs, streams and rivers, multiplies their waters, grows wide channels for them and directs their run.

Anthem-Pravslavlsnie:

O Indra! Listen to those who call Ty! Glorious and Trislaven wake up! And help us in battle with our enemies! And grant us help in the deeds of the sent ones! And we speak Glory to You and say, Great Indra! And the greatness of Glory, may be the lot of the Thunderer, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

God Perun

God Perun (Perkunas, Perkon, Perk, Purusha) - God-Patron of all warriors and many Clans from the Great Race, the defender of the Lands and the Svyatoruss Clan (Rusichi, Belarusians, Estonians, Lithuanians, Latgalian, Latgalians, Semigallians, Polyans, Serbs, etc.) from Dark forces, God the Thunderer, governing Lightning, the son of God Svarog and Lada, the Mother of God, the grandson of God Vyshenya. Patron God of the Hall of the Eagle in the Svarog Circle. God Perun has already arrived on Midgard-Earth three times to protect it and the Clans of the Great Race from the dark forces of the Pekelny World.

Dark forces come from different Halls of the Pekelny World in order to lure people from the Clans of the Great Race to their fullest by deceit, flattery and cunning, and if this does not help, they kidnap people in order to turn them all into obedient slaves in their dark World and not give opportunities to Spiritually develop and advance along the Golden Path, as it was established by God Svarog.

Dark forces penetrate not only Midgard-Earth, but also other Light Earths in Svarga the Purest. And then a battle takes place between the forces of Light and Darkness. Perun once freed our Ancestors from Pekelny captivity and filled up the Gates of the Interworld, leading to Peklo, with the Caucasian mountains on Midgard-Earth.

These battles between Light and Dark took place at regular intervals: "At the end of the Svarog Circle and Ninety-Nine Circles of Life", those. in 40 176 years.

After the first three Heavenly Battles between Light and Dark, when the Light Forces defeated, God Perun descended to Midgard-Earth to tell people about the events that took place and what awaits the Earth in the future, about the onset of dark times and about the upcoming Great Assas, i.e. .e. Heavenly Battles.

Fluctuations in time between the Third and the forthcoming decisive Fourth Battle of Light and Darkness can constitute, in addition to the time indicated by Perun, only one Circle of Life, i.e. 144 Years.

There are also Legends that God Perun visited Midgard-Earth several times in order to tell the Hidden Wisdom to the Priests and Elders of the Clans of the Holy Race, how to prepare for dark, difficult times, when the Sleeve of our swastika galaxy will pass through the spaces subject to the forces of The Dark Worlds of Hell.

The dark forces that have secretly infiltrated Midgard-Earth create all kinds of false religious Cults and deliberately try to destroy or denigrate the Cult of God Perun, erase it from the memory of nations, so that by the time of the Fourth, decisive battle between Light and Darkness, when Perun arrives on Midgard-Earth , people did not know who He was and for what purpose He had come.

In our time, a large number of "true" prophecies have appeared about the End of the World or the End of Times, especially in the Lunar Cults, about the coming to Midgard-Earth of the Highest God the Savior. The followers of one world religion call him Christ, and other religions call him Messiah, Mosheach, Buddha, Matreya, etc. All this is done so that during the coming of Perun to Earth, white people do not recognize their Highest God in Him and reject His help, and thereby doom themselves to complete humiliation and destruction.

During his Third visit to Midgard-Earth, about 40,000 years ago, Perun told in Asgard the Irian people from various Clans of the Great Race and the descendants of the Heavenly Clan the Sacred Wisdom about the future, which the Priests of White Water recorded in the Kh'Aryan Runes and preserved for descendants in the Nine Circles " Santiy Vedas of Perun "(in nine" Books of the Wisdom of God Perun ").

Hymn-Pravslavlenie:

Perun! Listen to those who call you! Glorious and Trislaven wake up! The blessings of the Light of the World to the entire Holy Race, even! Reveal your beautiful descendants! Teach us to do good things, grant the gridnam More Glory and courage. Turn us away from the lesson of lack of patience, give our Clans a multitude of people, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

To the Heavenly Goddess Dodola-Virgo, only women Priestesses who served Her had the right to make requests. Therefore, when people needed rain to irrigate zeros and meadows, representatives of different Clans brought rich Gifts to the Temple of Dodola-Virgo so that the Priestesses could perform the ancient Rite of making rain.

During the performance of the ancient Rite of appeal to the Goddess, the Priestesses dressed their white dresses with a special ornament and with a golden fringe below and performed an old ritual rain dance, asking the great Goddess Dodola the Virgin to send down a blessed rain on the fields and meadows. And never in my life there was not a single case when the Goddess Dodola-Virgo refused her faithful Priestesses.

Dazhdbog

Dazhdbog - God Tarkh Perunovich, God-Keeper of the ancient Great Wisdom.

He was named Dazhdbog (the giver of God) for giving the people of the Great Race and the descendants of the Heavenly Clan, Nine Santii (Books).

These Santii, written down by the ancient Runes, contain the Sacred Ancient Vedas, the Commandments of Tarkh Perunovich and his instructions. There are various Idols and Images depicting God Tarkh.

In many of the Images, he holds in his hand a Gaitan with a Swastika.

Tarkh is very often called the wise son of God Perun, the grandson of God Svarog, the great-grandson of God Vyshenya, which corresponds to the truth *.

* corresponds to the truth - although there is also an erroneous opinion: Tarkha Dazhdbog in many ancient sources is very often called Svarozhich, i.e. Heavenly God, and many researchers of antiquity interpret it so that Dazhdbog is the son of God Svarog.

Dazhdbog is a giver of all kinds of benefits, happiness and prosperity. Tarkh Dazhdbog was glorified in sacred and folk chants and hymns not only for the happy and worthy life of the Great Race Clans, but also for getting rid of the forces of the Dark World. Tarkh did not allow the dark forces from the Pekelny World to be defeated, which were collected by Koschei on the nearest Moon - Lele, in order to capture Midgard-Earth.

Tarkh Dazhdbog destroyed the Moon along with all the dark forces that were on it. Reported by “Santii Vedas of Perun. Circle One ":" You have been living quietly on Midgard, since ancient times, when the world was established ... Remembering from the Vedas about the deeds of Dazhdbog, how he destroyed the strongholds of the Koscheevs that were on the nearest Moon ... Tarkh did not allow the insidious Koschei to destroy Midgard, as they destroyed Day ... These Koshchei, the rulers of the Grays, disappeared with the Moon in half a distance ... But Midgard paid for freedom, hidden by the Great Flood by Daariya ... The waters of the Moon created that Flood, they fell to the Earth from Heaven like a rainbow, for the Moon split into pieces and a host of swarrows descended into Midgard " (Santiya 9, slokas 11-12). In memory of this event, a kind of Rite with a deep meaning ** appeared, performed by all Orthodox people in every Summer, on the great spring Slavic-Aryan holiday - Easter.

** Rite of passage with deep meaning - this rite is well known to everyone. On Easter (Easter), colored eggs bang against each other, checking whose egg is stronger. The broken egg was called - Koscheev's Egg, i.e. the destroyed Moon (Lelei), and the whole egg was called the Power of Tarkh Dazhdbog.

Dazhdbog Tarkh Perunovich is the Patron God of the Palace of the Race in the Svarog Circle.

Very often in various ancient Vedic texts, Tarh Perunovich asks for help to people from the Clans of the Great Race, his beautiful sister, the golden-haired Goddess Tara. Together they performed good deeds, helped people to settle in endless expanses on Midgard-earth. God Tarkh indicated where it would be best to place a settlement and build a Temple or Sanctuary, and his sister, the Goddess Tara, told people from the Great Race which trees should be used for construction. In addition, she taught people to plant new plantations on the site of felled trees, so that new trees needed for construction would grow for their descendants. Subsequently, many Clans began to call themselves the grandchildren of Tarkh and Tara, and the territories in which these Clans settled were called Great Tartary, i.e. the land of Tarkh and Tara.

Hymn-Rule:

Dazhdbog Tarkh Perunovich! Glorious and Trislaven wake up! We thank Ty, the giver of all blessings, happiness and prosperity. And we proclaim great Glory to You for your help in our good deeds, and for our help in the deeds of our warriors, but against the dark enemies and all unrighteous evil. May Thy Power come great with all our Clans, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

God Agni administers festive Rites with Fiery, bloodless sacrifices.

He is revered in all the Clans of the Orthodox Old Believers-Yiglings, and in every altar, near the Idol of God Agni, the living Sacred Fire was always maintained.

It is believed that if the Sacred Fire goes out in the altar of God Agni, then the lands of these Clans will cease to produce a good harvest, artisans will forget how to make the necessary utensils, weavers will stop weaving good, solid fabric, storytellers will forget all the ancient legends of their Ancient Clans. The dark times will last until people kindle the Sacred Fire of God Agni in the altar and in their hearts.

God Semargl (Firebog)

Description of Semargl, based on the works of A.Khinevich "Slavic-Aryan Vedas"

God Semargl (Firebog) - The Supreme God, the keeper of the Everlasting Fire and the guardian of the exact observance of all Fiery Rites and Fiery Purifications.

Semargl accepts the Fiery Gifts, Treba and bloodless Sacrifices on the ancient Slavic and Aryan holidays, especially on Krasnogor, on the Day of God Kupala and on the Highest Day of God Perun, being an intermediary between people and all Heavenly Gods.

The Fire God Semargl is the Patron God of the Hall of the Heavenly Serpent in the Svarog Circle.

The Fire God gladly blesses all people from the Clans of the Great Race, who with a pure Soul and Spirit observe all the Heavenly Laws and the Many Wise Commandments of the Light Gods and Ancestors.

Semargla is also called upon to treat sick animals and people, in order to rid the sick of various ailments and diseases. When a person's temperature rose, they said that Firebog settled in the Soul of the sick person. For Semargl, like the Fiery Dog, fiercely fights against ailments and diseases, which, like thieves, have made their way into the body or Soul of the sick person. Therefore, it is considered unacceptable to bring down the patient's temperature rise. The best place to cleanse ailments is the bathhouse.

Hymn-Rule:

Semargl Svarozhich! Ognebozhich is great! We slept Pain-ailment, cleanse the womb, in the child of people, in every creature, in the old and young, You are God's delight. Cleansing with fire, opening the power of Souls, save the child of God, so that the ailment perishes. We glorify you, we call upon you, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

The birth of Semargl!

There are references to the appearance of Semargl from the flame. It is said that once the heavenly blacksmith Svarog himself, having struck with a magic hammer, cut divine sparks from the stone. The sparks flared up brightly, and in their flame appeared the fiery god Semargl, sitting on a golden-maned horse of silver suit. But, looking like a quiet and peaceful hero, Semargl left a scorched trail wherever the foot of his horse went.

Beliefs associated with Semargl

The name of the God of Fire is not known for certain, most likely because his name is extremely sacred. Holiness is explained by the fact that this God dwells not somewhere in the seventh heaven, but directly among earthly people! They try to pronounce his name aloud less often, usually replacing them with allegories.

For a long time the Slavs have associated the emergence of people with Fire. According to some legends, the Slavic Gods created a Man and a Woman from two sticks, between which Fire flared up - the very first flame of love. Semargl also does not let evil into the world.

At night, Semargl stands guard with a fiery sword, and only one day a year he leaves his post, responding to the call of the Bather, who calls him to love games on the day of the Autumn Equinox. And on the day of the Summer Solstice, after 9 months, children are born to Semargl and Kupalnitsa - Kostroma and Kupalo.

Semargl mediator between people and gods

Semargl accepts the Fiery Gifts, Treba and bloodless Sacrifices on ancient holidays, especially on Krasnogor, on the Day of God, and on the Day of God Perun, is an intermediary between people and all Heavenly Gods.

Semargla is called upon to treat sick animals and people, in order to rid the sick of various ailments and diseases. When a person's temperature rises, they say that Fire God has settled in the Soul of the sick person. For Semargl, like the Fire Dog, fiercely fights with ailments and diseases, which, like thieves, have made their way into the body or soul of the sick person. Therefore, it is considered unacceptable to bring down the patient's temperature rise. The best place to cleanse ailments is the bathhouse.

God Semargl in Slavic mythology:
God Semargl in pagan mythology was one of the sons of the great god Svarog. The children of Svarog were called Svarozhichi, and his son Semargl, after birth, becomes the god of earthly fire.
One of the Svarozhichs was the fire god - Semargl, who is sometimes mistakenly only considered a heavenly dog, the guardian of seeds for sowing. This (storage of seeds) was constantly engaged in by a much smaller deity - Pereplut.

Mention of the name Semargl in the annals

The name of Semargl is mentioned in Russian chronicles - the pantheon of the book. Vladimir, it happened, presumably, from the old Russian "smag" ("After him I will click Karn, and Zhlya jump across the Russian land, Smag mychyuchi in a flame of a rose" ie fire, a tongue of flame, Fire-Svarozhich - half-sand, half-snake. Probably , the mediator between the real world and the world of heaven, which in the Vedic tradition is the god of fire - Agni. He is also a penny (fiery) serpent from conspiracies. Mentioned in the Pais'ev collection of St. Gregory (14th century) and the Zlatoust collection of 1271 Fire God - Yognebozh, according to the "Veda of the Slavs" by Verkovich, among the Pomak Bulgarians:

Fala ti Yogne God!
Fala ti Iasnu Slantse!
You heat the chi on the ground.
Peckenuvav sichka zeme ...
Pokrivash e tsrna muggle,
that niche and glaed.

He is, quite possibly, Rarog, Rarozhek is the son of Svarog, according to Czech medieval sources.
The identification of this god with the Iranian Senmurv (giant magic bird) is considered unjustified, but there is probably a connection with the firebird (fiery messenger of happiness) that brings him happiness.

Simargl (Old Russian Semargl, Simargl, Sim-Rgl) - in East Slavic mythology, a deity who was one of the seven (or eight) deities of the Old Russian pantheon (see in the article Slavic mythology), whose idols were installed in Kiev under the prince Vladimir (980). The name Semargl apparently goes back to the ancient * Sedmor (o) -golvъ, "Semiglav" (cf. polycephaly, characteristic of the Slavic gods, in particular the seven-headed Ruevit). According to another, more controversial hypothesis (K.V. Trever and others), the name and image of Semargl is an Iranian borrowing, it goes back to the mythical bird Senmurv. D. Worth connects Semargl with the Dove bird. Semargl's functions are unclear; they are probably associated with the sacred number seven and the embodiment of the seven-membered Old Russian pantheon. It is characteristic that in some texts of the "Kulikov Cycle" the name of Semargl is distorted into Rakliy, and this deity is regarded as pagan, Tatar. "Myths of the peoples of the world"

Semargl - the most mysterious deity of the Slavs

This cult was formed among the Slavs under the influence of Scythian influence about 3 thousand years ago. Semargl, in all likelihood, meant "seed." This deity was not the most popular among the ancient Slavs, but it probably remains the most mysterious to this day. Simargl is a sacred winged dog that protects seeds and crops, revered on a par with the ancient Russian shores. Even in the Bronze Age, among the Slavic tribes there is an image of dogs jumping and tumbling around young shoots. Apparently, these dogs guarded crops from small ruminants: chamois, roe deer, wild goats. Semargl among the Slavs was the embodiment of armed good, "good with teeth," as well as claws and even wings. In some tribes, Semargla was called Pereplut; the cult of this deity was associated with festivities in honor of mermaids, as well as bird-virgins, who were the deities of irrigating fields with rains. Rituals in honor of Semargl and the mermaids were held in early January and consisted of prayers for water for the new harvest. Another major holiday of Semargl and the mermaids was the Russian week from June 19 to June 24, ending with the Kupala holiday. Archaeologists in many female burials of the 10th - 11th centuries. discovered silver hoop bracelets that fastened the long sleeves of women's shirts. During the ritual pagan games, women took off their bracelets before dancing and danced "slipshod", depicting mermaids. This dance was dedicated to the winged dog Semargl, and, apparently, the legend about the frog princess came from him. During the ritual, all participants drank a sacred drink prepared with herbs. Semarglu-Pereplut, his images in the form of a dog, were brought gifts, most often cups with the best wine. In the rare surviving images, the sacred dog Semargl was depicted as if growing out of the ground. From written sources it becomes clear that the Semarglu ritual took place with the obligatory participation of boyars and princesses, who brought rich gifts to the idol.

“World cults and rituals. The power and strength of the ancients. " Compiled by Yu.A. Matyukhina. -M .: RIPOL classic, 2011. Pp. 150-151.
Some researchers have compared Simargla with the Iranian deity Simurg (Senmurv), the sacred winged dog, the guardian of plants. According to B.A. Rybakov, Simargl in Russia in the XII-XIII centuries was replaced by Pereplut, which had the same meaning as Semargl. Obviously, Semargl was a deity of some tribe, subject to the great Kiev prince Vladimir.

Here is my vision of the Slavic god Semargl, born on the basis of a personal study of legends and traditions:

Semargl Ognebog is probably one of the most mysterious light gods of the Slavic world.

Its mystery lies in the fact that many Slavic Gods were created by man in “his own likeness” and had a completely human appearance, and Semargl had the image of a winged fiery wolf.

Most likely, the image of Semargl is older than the “humanized” images of the gods ……. And he can be the key to your inner strength. Look around you will not see flying fire wolves, they are not outside until you find it inside. Our outer world is a reflection of the inner, do not look for the gods outside, find them inside yourself and then they will appear outside.

Semargl lives in you - this is your spiritual fire, crushing the chains of ignorance, this is the fire of sacred rage, sweeping away the outposts of the enemy on its way, this is the heat of the body, conquering diseases of the body, this is the fire in the furnace that warms you ... energy. All this is the god Semargl, or rather his manifestations

According to legend, Semargl was born from the impact of Svarog's hammer on the Alatyr stone: from the splashing sparks, a flame shot up, and a rider on a golden-maned horse appeared in the fire.

The imagery of the ancient language speaks of the interaction of divine forces, which there is no point in revealing, because their divinity will be lost. Language is our limited tool, especially after the circumcision of its imagery and the reform carried out by the Bolsheviks. Several forces contribute to the appearance of Semargl and at all levels of being they are similar: this is the force of friction and impact. The blow of Svarog's hammer on the anvil of Alatyr gives rise to Semargl, the shock of the wave of your anger about insurmountable circumstances ignites sacred rage in you, the blow of the flint and the steel bar against each other causes the fire of the material world, the interaction of the two nuclei causes a nuclear explosion ... ..the interaction of your spiritual and material origins causes spiritual fire.

Semargl's mission is simple and at the same time difficult: the Winged Wolf does not let the dark beginning from the apparent world into the world of Prav, standing guard over Reveal with a "burning" sword. He is the keeper of the interworld between reality and rule, although Nav is available to him, he can also come from Navi ... ..

He is the shield and sword of the world of people - he can guard, warm, protect, heal, and can destroy, destroy everything in his path.

The keys and connection with Semargl are stored in your subconscious mind. And you will receive them only when you become whole and do not use this power for selfish purposes, when your consciousness is cleared of the dark spots of ignorance, then you will learn to consciously use its power. The Slavic Gods will not trust a child with a nuclear bomb, and the power of Semargl is hidden behind seven seals that will only open to pure consciousness.

Take the image of Semargl, feel the divine fire in your soul, help others to understand and accept the Native Gods. Help Semargl spread his wings in each of us, help awaken strength, rage and wolf agility. To the Glory of Our Gods and Ancestors!

Stribog

Stribog - is the God who controls lightning, whirlwinds, hurricanes, winds and sea storms on Midgard-earth. We turn to him when a rain cloud is needed during a dry period, or vice versa, in a rainy period when it is necessary for Stribog to disperse the clouds and the Yarilo-Sun to warm the fields, gardens and vegetable gardens filled with moisture.

Stribog also rules winds and sandstorms on the Land of Oreya (Mars). In addition, Stribog is the Patron God of the Earth Stribog (Saturn) in the Yarila-Sun system. But most of all, our ancestors revered Stribog as the exterminator of all sorts of atrocities and the destroyer of evil intentions.

God Varuna (God of the World Waters)

God Varuna - God who controls the Elements of movement of the Starry Sky and oversees the sacred paths that connect the Gates of the Interworld in different Halls of the Most Pure Swarga.

Varuna is the God who controls the roads of Human Destinies. Only God Varuna can determine the power of Spiritual Formation and the completeness of the fulfillment of the Life Purpose by man.

The raven is the Hanging bird, the faithful companion of the Ruler God Varuna. He accompanies the Souls of the dead to the Gate of Vyriya in the Great Svarga of the Most Pure and informs the Souls-Navyas about what lofty goals they have achieved in their Spiritual and Soul development and in fulfilling their Life Purpose on Midgard-Earth.

If God Varuna decides that a person must be given the opportunity to complete the deed he has begun, which he did not manage to complete due to the sudden death, then he sends his assistant, the Crow, to Dunya.

The Raven is the keeper of the Living and Dead Water, it enables the Soul of the deceased to return to its own body, so that a person, having returned to the World of Reveal, could complete his unfinished business.

In the World of Yavi they say about such a person: “he experienced clinical death” or “he returned from the other world”. Oddly enough, but after the return of a person to his former life by the God-Ruler Varuna, a person changes his way of behavior, or wastes his life in vain and completes a task that he did not manage to finish.

If a person cannot be returned to his own body due to the reason for his complete destruction, then the Heavenly God Varuna asks the Goddess Karna to find a suitable body for this Soul-Navya.

God Kolyada

God Kolyada - The Supreme God, managing the Great Changes in the life of the Clans of the Great Race and the descendants of the Heavenly Clan.

In ancient times, the Almighty God Kolyada gave many Clans who migrated to the western lands a system of calculating the seasonal time for field work - the Calendar (Kolyada gift), as well as his Wise Vedas, commandments and instructions.

Kolyada is the Patron God of war people and Priests. Kolyada was often depicted with a sword in hand, with the blade of the sword facing downward.

The sword, pointing downward, in ancient times meant the preservation of the Wisdom of the Gods and Ancestors, as well as the unshakable adherence to the Heavenly Laws, as established by God Svarog for all the Halls of the Svarog Circle.

The holiday in honor of God Kolyada falls on the day of the winter solstice, this holiday is also called Menari, i.e. Day of Changes. On the holiday, groups of men, dressed in the skins of various animals (mummers), who were called the Kolyada squads, walked around the courtyards. They sang hymns glorifying Kolyada, and arranged special round dances around sick people to heal them.

Hymn-Rule:

Bose Kolyada! Glorious and Trislaven wake up! We thank Thee for the gracious help to our Clans! And yes, wake you as a spade in all our deeds, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

God Sventovit

God Sventovit - The Highest Heavenly God who carries the Pure Spiritual Light of Goodness, Love, Illumination and Enlightenment of the World. Rule in the Souls of all White people from the Clans of the Great Race, as well as in the Souls of the descendants of the Heavenly Clan.

Orthodox ancestors from various Slavic-Aryan Communities venerate God Sventovit for his daily Spiritual help in all good creative deeds and undertakings that are aimed at the good and prosperity of our Ancient Clans.

On the holidays in honor of God Sventovit, competitions in the knowledge of Ancient Wisdom were held among young people. Only those young people who had already reached the Circle of Years were allowed to compete in the knowledge of Ancient Wisdom.

* reached the Circle of Years - i.e. age 16.

The meaning of the competitions held by the Priests of Sventovit boiled down to determining how well the younger generation developed Generic memory, imaginative thinking, intuition, dexterity and ingenuity.

At the very beginning of the competition, the Priests of Sventovit asked young people questions on various topics and riddles. The winner was the one who answered more questions and riddles faster and wittier. Further, for the winners of the first competition, competitions were held that determined the agility and skill of young people in various martial arts, the ability to handle a sword and knife, and accuracy when shooting from a bow.

Passing the above tests were also tested for endurance; for this, young people went to the forest for three weeks, or, as they used to say in the old days, for nine days.

Hymn-Rule:

Sventovit, our Light Bose! We glorify and Trislavim Ty all-dear! And Thou enlighten our Souls and send illumination to our hearts, for Thou art the Good Bose, but to all our Clans. We forever magnify thee and call upon our Clans, may our Souls be with You, now and ever, and from Circle to Circle, but at all times, while the Yarilo-Sun shines on us!

God Kupala (Kupalo)

God Kupala (Kupalo) - God, who gives a person the opportunity to create all kinds of ablutions and conducts the Rituals of Purification of Bodies, Soul and Spirit from various ailments-diseases. God instructing for a joyful and happy life.

Kupala is a cheerful and beautiful God who dresses in light white robes decorated with flowers. On the head of God Kupala there is a wreath of beautiful flowers.

Kupala was revered as the God of the warm time of Summer, wildflowers and wild fruits.

Many Slavic-Aryan Clans, engaged in field cultivation, worshiped God Kupala along with the Goddess Makosh and the Goddess Tara, as well as the Gods - Perun and Veles.

Before the beginning of the harvest and the gathering of field fruits, a holiday was celebrated in honor of God Kupala, on which bloodless sacrifices were brought to God Kupala, as well as to all the Ancient Gods and Ancestors.

At the holiday, Orthodox ancestors, their bloodless sacrifices and demands, are thrown into the fire of the Sacred Swastik Altar, so that everything sacrificed appears on the festive tables of the Gods and Ancestors.

After offering bloodless sacrifices from the living fire of the Sacred Swastika Altar, the community members light candles and fireballs, which are fixed on wreaths and rafts and sent along the rivers.

At the same time, Orthodox ancestors from various Communities slander their innermost desire or request to get rid of ailments-diseases, all kinds of failures, various problems, etc., to a candle or fireball. This rite can be explained as follows.

A burning candle or fire lamp illuminates the request or desire of the Communities, the water of the river remembers them and, evaporating, rises to Heaven, conveying to the Gods all the requests and desires of Orthodox ancestors.

At the holiday, each of the Orthodox ancestors must undergo a complete purification, in order to be completely purified to begin collecting field fruits and the beginning of the field harvest. Complete cleansing consists of three parts:

First cleansing (Cleansing the Body). Everyone present at the holiday on the Day of God Kupala should wash their bodies in sacred waters (rivers, lakes, reservoirs, etc.) in order to wash off fatigue and dirt from themselves.

The second cleansing (Cleansing the Soul). In order for those present at the holiday on the Day of God Kupala to be able to purify their Soul, they kindle big fires, and everyone who wants to jump over these fires, for the Fire burns all ailments and cleans the aura and Soul of a person.

Third cleansing (Cleansing of the Spirit). Everyone present at the holiday on the Day of God Kupala, as well as those who wish, can cleanse and strengthen their Spirit. For this, a Fiery Circle is created from the burning coals of a large fire, along which people from various Clan, Slavic and Aryan Communities walk barefoot. Those who want to, who for the first time decided to walk over the coals in order to cleanse and strengthen their Spirit, are led by the Communists through the Fiery Circle by the hand.

This holiday is inextricably linked with another event of antiquity. In ancient times, God Perun freed his sisters from captivity in the Caucasus and sent them to purify themselves in the waters of Sacred Iriy (Irtysh) and in the Sour Cream Clean Lake (Zaisan Island). This event is also narrated in the fifth ball of Songs of the Gamayun Bird.

Due to the fact that Kupala is the Patron God of the Heavenly Hall of the Horse in the Svarog Circle, on this day it is customary to bathe horses, braid multi-colored ribbons in their manes and decorate them with wildflowers.

Hymn-Rule:

Kupala, our Bose! Be glorious and Trislaven forever! We all-dearly glorify you, we call on our lands! Grant us all cleansing, for our Bozekh to rule! Grant our Clans an abundant harvest in the fields of suffering, and full bins in our mansions. Now and ever and from Circle to Circle! Tako byst, taco, wake up taco!

Chislobog

According to the Daarius Circle of Chislobog, various chronology were previously conducted in all Slavic and Aryan lands. These systems were used before the forced Christianization of the peoples of Russia and Europe and before the introduction of a new chronology from the Nativity of Christ (the use of the Slavic-Aryan chronology systems according to the Daar Circle of Chislobog in the Russian lands was abolished by Tsar Peter Alekseevich Romanov in Summer 7208 from the Creation of the World in the Star Temple (1700) AD).

At present, only the Priests-Priests of the Vesyov Spiritual Administrations and the Elders of the Slavic, Aryan and Ancestral Communities of the Old Russian Church of the Orthodox Old Believers use different chronology systems for Chislobog's Daarius Circle.

Hymn-Rule:

Glorious and Trislaven awake, our Numeral! You, the keeper of the flow of life in the Most Pure Svarga, endowing our belly with a period of understanding of the World of Evangelism is ours, and You indicate when the Yarila-Sun rises, when the Moons and Stars shine. And grant us, according to Thy great Goodness, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of our Clans to behold, Bozem and our Ancestors to sing the Great Glory, as you are a virtue and a philanthropist. He cunningly tore the seal from the Secret Ancient Knowledge of his World, which was guarded by Belobog. And the Ancient Knowledge of the World of Arlegs sounded throughout all the lower Worlds, down to the darkest depths of the Pekelny World. He did this in order to obtain for himself the Ancient Knowledge of the Highest Worlds according to the law of universal correspondence. To justify himself and his actions before the Heavenly God Svarog, Chernobog gathers his supporters all over the world in the Worlds of Navi and Yavi. He tries to develop in his supporters greed, permissiveness, cold reason, iron logic and exorbitant selfishness.

Chernobog in our World on Midgard-Earth first gives a person the opportunity to touch the smallest particles of the Ancient Knowledge of his World and observes how a person will behave in such a situation.

If a person who has received the Knowledge of the Higher World begins to exalt himself over others, violates human and Heavenly Laws, then Chernobog begins to fulfill all his base desires.

The second half of the 20th century was marked by the revival of Vedic culture and its penetration into Western countries. This began to happen due to the popularization of the works of Roerich and Blavatsky. It is also associated with the spread of teachings originating in the Vedas.

Supreme god

God in has a collective image. Unlike other religious cultures, the Vedas clearly say who God is and what manifestations he has.

The first manifestation most accessible to understanding is the Absolute. This is the totality of everything. That which can be seen with the help of the senses and that which is not manifested. In Sanskrit, this divine expression is called Brahman.

The second manifestation is the oversoul or superconsciousness. In Sanskrit, it is called paramatma, which means the Supreme Soul. According to the scriptures, the superconsciousness operates in the world of matter and enters into every atom. This divine consciousness permeates the heart of every living being. Therefore, there is an aphorism that God is in the heart of man and in order to find Him, you need to look inside.

The third manifestation of Divine consciousness is His personal expression. The Supreme Lord. In this guise, the Absolute enjoys, showing the world many wonderful and wonderful games. The scriptures say that the personal manifestations of the Absolute are innumerable, like the waves on the surface of the ocean.

Divine incarnations

Vedic literature describes several incarnations of the Supreme Lord in the world of matter. Each incarnation of Him had certain goals and harmoniously fit into the plan of the divine game. Here are some of them:

Brief description of the creation of the world

The literature of the Vedas says that beyond the world of matter lies a spiritual reality stretching into infinity, where there is no decay or death. In Sanskrit, this transcendental world is called Vaikuntha - a place where there is no anxiety. Time has no effect on the local people - they are forever beautiful and young. Their every step is a dance, and every word is a song. The Vedas claim that this is our home, where every soul strives.

The main characteristic of living beings in the spiritual world is complete selflessness. To live for God and for others is the meaning of their existence.

But what about those who want to live for themselves? A world full of enmity and hardship is prepared for them - the world of matter. Here everyone can satisfy their egoistic desires and fully experience their consequences.

From the pores of the divine body, myriads of material universes emerge, intended for souls who wish to live for themselves. But so that these souls do not remain without spiritual guidance, the Lord, through his expansion, enters this world. And His name is Vishnu, which means all-pervading. He creates the first living entity in the universe - Brahma, on whom he assigns the mission of the creator of the material world.

Pantheon of Vedic gods, their names and power

Let us examine in more detail the hierarchy of the gods reflected in the Vedic scriptures. Vedic gods are directly related to Vishnu. They obey Him as the supreme controller and guardian of this universe.

At the top of the hierarchy are three Vishnu and Shiva, who are responsible for creating, maintaining and destroying everything in this world. They also personify irresistible forces: passion, goodness and ignorance. The more goodness in a person's life, the more enlightened he is and the closer he is to realizing his divine nature.

A lower level is occupied by deities who control any aspects of creation. Conditionally, matter can be divided into elements: ether, fire, air, water, earth. Combinations of these primary elements serve as the basis for everything that surrounds us.

The sacred texts describe 33 million Vedic gods. Not all of them are known, but here are the names of those who are mentioned in the sacred hymns of the Rig Veda:

 1. Indra is the king of the gods in the Vedic religion. He rules over the heavens and all the gods of the heavenly kingdom. It is remarkable that Indra is not a name. This is the title of the job. The scriptures say that he gained this fast as a result of his immense piety.
 2. Agni is the god of fire in the Vedic religion. He is responsible for the fire element in our universe.
 3. Varuna is the god of water. Lord of the element of water.
 4. Vivasvan is the sun god.
 5. Kubera is the keeper of countless treasures. Treasurer of the gods. Many evil spirits who are called yakshas obey him.
 6. Yama is the god of death. He is also called the god of justice. It is he who determines what a person deserves after the end of his life.

God of fire

Agni - the Vedic god of fire, played one of the central roles in people's lives. While worshiping the Lord, people were always the first to mention Agni, because he, personifying the sacrificial fire, was the mouth of the Supreme Lord. Therefore, the hymns of the sacred Rig Veda begin with the praise of Agni.

People who belonged to the Aryan culture were accompanied by fire from birth to death. All the rituals of that time were fire sacrifices, be it: birth, wedding or death. It was said that a person whose body is burned in a sacred fire will not be born again in the world of death.

Ayurveda also gave the Vedic fire god an important place in human health. It is believed that the fire element is responsible for the power of thought, as well as for the digestive processes. Weakening of Agni in the human body becomes the cause of serious ailments.

The influence of the gods on human life

In Aryan culture, the Vedic gods personified different aspects of human life. Such an ancient science as astrology also considered the influence of the gods on human destiny. The fact is that in Vedic astrology, each planet has a personal personification with a certain set of qualities.

For example, just as Vivasvan is the sun god, so each planet has its own ruling deity:

 • Moon - Chandra;
 • Mercury - Budha;
 • Venus - Shukra;
 • Mars - Mangala;
 • Jupiter is the Guru;
 • Saturn - Shani;
 • North lunar node - Rahu. In Western astrology, it is called the head of the dragon.
 • South lunar node - Ketu. It is called the dragon's tail.

All of these deities were also Vedic gods. All of them were worshiped for specific purposes. The horoscope was considered as a plan of lessons that the soul had to go through, incarnated in the human body.

The negative periods of a person's life associated with the influence of certain planets were reduced or eliminated with the help of rituals associated with the worship of these deities. Such methods were called upaya.

Divine personification of nature and its manifestations

The Vedic gods mentioned above are of masculine nature. What about feminine divine manifestations?

According to sacred traditions, each divine personal incarnation has a companion who personifies the female energy (shakti).

For example, Vishnu's consort is Lakshmi - the goddess of luck and prosperity. Outwardly, she is very beautiful, she dresses in red. In his hands holds a lotus and a jug with gold coins. It is believed that she favors the one who worships her spouse.

Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom and the consort of Lord Brahma. She is worshiped for gaining knowledge and wisdom.

Parvati - mother nature, is the eternal companion of Shiva and has many forms. Embodying nature, she can be both an infinitely beautiful creator and a terrible destroyer. She is often depicted with various weapons and a bloody head in her hands. By analogy, Parvati relieves a person walking on the spiritual path from attachment to matter.

The influence of the gods on the acquisition of the meaning of life by man

According to Vedic texts, the meaning lies in 4 purposes:

 1. Dharma is fulfilling one's duty by following one's own nature.
 2. Artha - maintaining your economic well-being.
 3. Kama - receiving pleasure and enjoyment.
 4. Moksha is liberation from Samsara (the circle of birth and death).

The activity of the gods of the Vedic period is also to provide conditions for a person to achieve 4 life goals. By their invisible actions, when softly, when roughly, they push people to understand that the material world is not their home and there will always be some kind of anxiety. This is how a person is brought to understanding the highest meaning of existence - the acquisition of love for God.

Vedic gods of the Slavs

The Slavic Vedas profess a monotheistic religion that the world was created by a single creator, from whom all that exists.

They call him Svarog. The bungled world. It is also called Rod. Sometimes He sends His sons so that in time the divine law will not be lost.

The Vedic gods of Russia are the sons of Svarog: Kryshen, Vyshen, Dazhbog, Kolyada.

According to Slavic legends, Kryshen is the heavenly patron of earthly people. In the material world, He incarnates to restore ancient knowledge and teach people about religious rituals. The story of Kryshen's adventure is described in the Slavic book of Kolyada.

Parallels of cultures

Today, there is a lot of controversy about whose Vedas are more true. Slavic or Indian. And these disputes only give rise to interethnic enmity. But if you look closely at the pantheon of the Vedic gods of the Slavs and the gods of the Indian Vedas, it becomes clear that the same personalities are described:

If you look at it with an open mind, it is easy to understand that there is only one source of knowledge. The only question is where this knowledge is most fully represented.

Conclusion

There are no number of divine incarnations and manifestations. Different cultures describe the Supreme Lord in their own way, but, nevertheless, the principles and laws of spiritual development are given the same. A person who has raised his consciousness sees the one divine nature in every living being, believing everyone to be the Son of God.

The data of Russian-Sanskrit lexical correspondences make it possible to significantly clarify the functions and semantics of the names of Russian pagan gods and lower deities. Comparing the two Vedic cultures, we can broaden the understanding of Russian Vedism, based on Indian material. Significant research in this area was carried out by N.R. Guseva and D.P.Shastri. Her materials are presented in this work, but, in our opinion, do not reflect a number of significant correspondences in the Russian and Indian pantheons. The research results of N.R. Guseva 9 are presented in summary table 1.

The range of the above correspondences can be expanded. It is advisable to start by adding a list of correspondences in the semantics of the names of gods. Agni - in Sanskrit the name of the god of fire 10. In the Russian language, the alternation "o - a" has been preserved in the ratio of the words "fire - lamb" (that is, an animal for a fire sacrifice). Vayu (or Vata) - in Sanskrit, the name of the god of wind 11. In the Russian language, the first version of the name is also easily traced - in the words "blow", "to blow" and the second - in the words "wind", "windy". Skanda - in Sanskrit the name of the god of war 12. The word came into Russian through Western languages from Greek and Latin 13. Within the lexical base of Indo-European unity, I would like to point out the connections in the semantics of the words "war" and "scandal" at the level of a common element of their meanings - "clash, discord". Antaka - in Sanskrit the name of the god of death Yama, or his messengers. From European languages (from French or German) the words "attack", "attack" have penetrated into Russian 14. Military operations are inextricably linked with the death of soldiers, especially the attacking side. Here you can see the presence of parallels and correspondences in the meanings of words of different groups of the Indo-European linguistic family. Stribog - in the Russian pagan pantheon, the god of air spaces 15. In the "Lay of Igor's Campaign" the winds are called "Stribozh's grandchildren" 16. It is noteworthy that in Sanskrit "stri" means "to prostrate" 17. Surya - in Sanskrit the name of the sun god 18. We find a related meaning of the word "surya" in the Tale of Bygone Years. So, Syria in the Old Russian language is called Surya, that is, the sunny country 19. Has analogues in the semantics of Sanskrit words and such a Slavic deity as Rod - the patron saint of the family and tribe 20. "Rodhati" in Sanskrit means "growing" 21, that is, increasing the number (for example, of a tribe) by growth. The genesis of the image of the deity of the Rod in paganism will be discussed in detail below. Mayan - in Sanskrit, the name of the goddess of material illusion and delusion 22. In Russian, the verb toil has the meaning "to suffer in this world." The dialectal verb "may" means to deceive. In the Bulgarian language, the verbs "zamaya", "washing" mean "enchanting, intoxicating" 23.

Correspondences in Slavic paganism
trimurti concepts

The Vedic tradition of India pays special attention to three deities (the so-called "trimurti"), who occupy the highest position in the material universe and are responsible for the processes taking place in it 24. Brahma is responsible for the creation of all beings, Vishnu for the maintenance of their life, and Shiva for destruction. In the scriptures of India, it is emphasized that of the three main deities, only Vishnu is the supreme, eternal Lord. He remains unchanged during the destruction of the material universes and, in due time, breathes out new worlds from the pores of his body. Brahma and Shiva -
mortal.

Such a significant element of the original Vedic tradition is reflected in Russian paganism. In the "Veles book" we find, "We have no Gods except Vyshnya" 25. Words such as "height", "height", that is, heavenly spaces, the world of gods correlate with the Slavs' ideas about heaven as the world of Vishnu, the Highest. The Vedas of the Indian tradition describe the seven levels of the heavenly worlds (with the names "bhurloka", "bhuvarloka", "svarloka", "tapaloka", "maharloka", "jnanaloka", "satyaloka") and characterize the characteristics of their inhabitants. Satyaloka is considered to be the highest level of the soul's stay in the material universe - the level of heavenly happiness is 26. The Russian proverb “to be in seventh heaven with happiness” 27 reflects the Vedic cosmological concept. The word "Supreme" in relation to God can also go back to the concept of Vishnu, Vyshnya. It is important to note that the word "God" itself has a pre-Christian origin, going to Vedism. The Bible refers to God with names such as "Hosts" and "Yahweh" ("Jehovah") 28. The Russian word "God" has phonetic and semantic parallels with Sanskrit words. So, "Bhagas" in Sanskrit means "Giver, Lord", "Bhagavan" - the Supreme Personality of Godhead, "bhoga" - power, benefit, benefit, pleasure, pleasure 29.

Vishnu of the Indian Vedic tradition sits on a giant eagle - Garuda 30. "Veles's book" also tells about the "bird Vyshnya" Sva Slava, praising the exploits of the Slavic peoples. "The Mother of All Glory sings to us, sings those victories over enemies, and we believe that, because these words are from the Bird Vyshnya."

If in the "Veles book" the modified name of Vishnu - "Vyshen" is presented, then in the texts of the South Slavic "Veda of the Slavs", written by S. I. Verkovich, there is a complete phonetic correspondence to Sanskrit:

Analysis of the mutual influence of Slavic pagan and
indo-Aryan gods and cults

Perun

In Slavic paganism, Perun is the god of thunder, rain and lightning. He is armed with thunder arrows, an ax, and can also throw stones. One of the hallmarks of Perun is a beard, indicating a mature age of 39. Perun patronized the princely squad and its leader, in this capacity he was part of the pantheon of Vladimir 40. Within the framework of the restored myth about Perun, the motive of his struggle with a giant snake is widespread. The cult of Perun has many similarities with the analogous cult of Perkunas (Perkons) in Baltic mythology 42.

When analyzing the Indo-Aryan influence of the image of Indra on the image of Perun - Perkons, it is necessary to try to answer the question of not using the name of Indra or its recognizable derivatives in the designation of the god of thunder in the Slavic territories. In our opinion, the main reason for the aforementioned inconsistency of names is the hybridity of the image of Perun, which has absorbed the Vedic ideas about "lokopals" - the rulers and guardians of the four cardinal points. The guardian of the east is Indra, the south is Yama, the north is Soma, and the west is Varuna. Apparently, the Slavic correspondences to all four deities were originally called Peruns, although the supremacy was recognized for a deity who absorbed the features of Indra. According to an ancient Russian source, there are many Peruns ("Perun is many"), in Lithuanian sources we find, "There are four Parkunas: eastern, western, southern and northern" 43.

Thus, the idea of one god - Perun and the personification in his person of thunder (Perun) and lightning (Perunitsa) is undoubtedly a late Slavic tendency. Indo-Aryan correspondences to the combination "pr" at the root of the name "Perun" have been identified in a number of studies 44. I would like to refer to the analysis of the supposed transformations on the Slavic soil of the names of such deities, closely associated with the images of the four Lokopals, or among them, such as Pardzhanya, Parushna and Varuna. Vedic Parjanya - god of thunderclouds and rain45. Parjanya thunders and roars like a bull, he is connected with water, with springs, his chariot is full of water. Parjanya's name is sometimes attached to Indra 46. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the deity "roars like a bull." In the Slavic tradition, clouds are often described as heavenly bulls and cows 47. Parjanya is the father of one of the lokopals - Soma (the moon god, patron saint of moisture and vegetation) 48.

As you can see, in the described mythological concept of Parjanya - Indra embraces the east and holds the north under control (Soma is the son of Parjanya). A possible inflection of the name "Pardzhanya" as the Slavs and Indo-Aryans became isolated, are as follows: "Pardzhanya - Paryanya - Parun - Perun". The connection between the lokopala Varuna and the image of Perun was revealed by the doctor of historical sciences, N.R. Guseva: “The meaning of the theonym“ varuna ”is explained in dictionaries as“ the all-encompassing sky, the king of gods and people, the ocean, the sun, the brother of fire ”. A variant of this word is "lizard" (but also "varuni") - a special magic spell, pronounced over the weapon. All these characteristics are to a certain extent compared with the name of Perun - the supreme god of the pagan Russian pantheon, the god of thunder in whose name the warriors swore over their weapons and believed that he would punish them for breaking this oath ”49. Lokopala west, Yama, is far from being associated with waters or rain. He is the ruler of the kingdom of the dead, the lower world 50 (compare with the Russian name for any depression in the earth - a hole). Some parallels can be seen in his adoption of the features of Varuna, as the lord of the afterlife and the god of justice 51. Of all the lokapals, Indra is the most consistent with Perun (in everything except the name). Indra is a warrior with a beard, the lord of rain, thunder and lightning. He fights the serpent Vritra and, having defeated him, frees the underground waters 52.

Genus

The meaning of Rod as one of the Slavic deities, creating the beginning, was identified and proved by B.A. Rybakov 53. N.R. Guseva in her studies points to the possibility of comparing the Slavic Clan and the Vedic Rudra (pre-Aryan Shiva) 54. Recognizing these statements, we consider it necessary, on the one hand, to develop them through a comparative linguistic and religious-mythological analysis and, on the other hand, to point to the synthetic, compilation, nature of the Vedic prototype of Rod not only as Rudra - Shiva, but also as Brahma - Prajapati.

B.A. Rybakov substantiates and gives the following aspects of the image of the Sort in the paganism of the ancient Slavs:

1) Rod is the creator of the Universe;

2) The genus "blows" life into people;

3) Rod - the god of the sky and rain;

4) The genus is associated with earth water (springs, springs);

5) Rod is associated with blissful fire;

6) Rod is associated with underground hell;

7) Genus is associated with red (called "dear, rodry");

8) Genus is associated with punishing ball lightning (called "Rodia") 55.

Analyzing some of these ratios, let us turn to the correspondences between the Genus and the image of the Vedic Rudra, the hypostasis of Shiva 56.

First of all, Rod is a deity responsible for increasing the number of people (nation). The Sanskrit verb "rodhati" means "to grow", that is, to increase quantitatively 57. In connection with the possibility of a Russian-Sanskrit comparison, we have to disagree with the opinion of O.N. Trubachev that the Old Slavic "rod" is a "purely Slavic innovation" 58, that is, a fundamentally new use of Indo-European morphemes.

The functions of the protector of fertility, the source of fertilization, undoubtedly belong to the Family. "Rodas" in Sanskrit means "earth" 59 - fertile feminine principle. They turn to the Vedic Rudra with the prayer “May we multiply, O Rudra, through children”, they say about him: “May he create good for men and women” 60.

The connection between the images of Rod and Rudra with red is noteworthy. BA Rybakov cites a number of words with the root "kind", which include in their semantics the concept of "red color", "native" - the fruit of a pomegranate, "rodry" - red, "puff", "red" - to blush, red 61. Vedic Rudra - Shiva is also described as a red deity. He is “copper-colored, he is the red boar of the sky” 62. The connection between the images of Rudra and Rod can be seen in the semantics of the Russian words “ore” - red, red, “ore” - blood 63, the Sanskrit word “rudhiha” - red 64. It is known that blood is a symbol of the unity of the tribe, clan. The alternation "a - y" in the roots of "genus - ores" is also observed in the above examples, confirming the conclusions about the Indo-Aryan origin of the name of the Genus.

Based on the meanings of lexemes such as "spring", "rodnitsa"
B.A. Rybakov points out the connection of the Rod with water 65. Such a name of Rudra as "Jalamurti" means the personified water, the element of water 66.

The clan of the Slavs and Rudra in Hinduism appear in a similar hypostasis of the "solar" deity, ambiguous in its "character" and manifestations. "The formidable and capricious god of the sky, wielding clouds, rain, lightning, on whom all life on earth depended" 67, was at the same time the bearer of the most important function of insemination, the generation of life, which in turn should have led to the emergence of a phallic cult among the Indo-Aryans.

Phallic cults

According to B.A. Rybakov, all the idols found "in different places of the Slavic world" can be divided into three categories. These are “idols depicting a man with a cornucopia in his hands, phallic idols and images without any special features” 68. As it is clear from this classification, a third of the available types of idols are phallic, that is, they are associated with the cult of the Family or, in a broader sense, with the cult of fertility, vitality. In addition to the idol found in the Zbruche River on the Russian-Austrian border, phallic idols are found among the Eastern Slavs in other places, and the phallic rites described in the 11th-12th centuries (immersed images of the phallus in a bucket) are confirmed by finds in Poland 69. During the excavations in Staraya Russa, a wooden anthropomorphic phallus was also found, apparently included in the wedding set 70.

There were several types of sculptures. Stone phallic idols from the northern part of the East Slavic lands, extremely simplified sculptures, giving only a general form and a barely outlined mask. The characteristic feature is the hat. The essence of such idols is directly related to the idea of the birth of life, the harvest, which is confirmed by a variety of folklore materials, ranging from the ritual coitus "a in a freshly sown field and ending with the burial of Yarila (Herovit" a) in the middle of summer, when the old giving force of the seed-seed has already passed into new ears. Yarila in this rite was portrayed with a huge phallus. There is a known stone phallic idol from Sukromli 71. In addition to large stone phallic idols that stood somewhere in nature, there were small domestic ones made of wood, but also anthropomorphic. They were a part of a pagan wedding ceremony and also served as a symbol of fertility, influencing the birth of a new life.

Traces of a phallic cult in Russian, traditional culture and folklore indicate a connection with the Vedic tradition. In the Russian language, up to 50 names of phallus were developed 72. One of the definitions of this body is "shish".

In Sanskrit, “shishna” means “phallus” 73. Kukish ("shish", "fig") from the fingers in Russia since ancient times has been associated with protective and sexual symbols 74. “If in India the Shivalingam is openly worshiped,” notes NR Guseva, “then we have to find in the paganism of the Slavs only traces confirming the ancient worship of the phallus. This is mentioned in the books of some researchers; in addition, we can find memories of the cult images of the phallus in old "male" sayings, for example, "Shish to tar and stand against the wall" (whence it appears that the wooden phallic idol was saved by impregnating it with resin) or, "Because of the forest, the dark forests brought a huge shisha "(and here we are probably talking about the transportation of a large phallic idol from the forest to the steppe)" 75.

Traces of the phallic cult of the Family can be traced in heraldic traditions. So, S. Troinitsky, in a report at a meeting of the history department of the history department of the Russian Academy of Sciences, suggested the origin of the coat of arms of the city of Smolensk, as a consequence of the transformation of the image of a winged phallus, borrowed from an antique gem (carved seal stone). V. Shklovsky also expressed a categorical opinion that it was the bird on the phallus that became the prototype of the bird Gamayun, sitting on a cannon, represented on the modern coat of arms 76. If the genesis of the coat of arms of Smolensk really corresponds to the stated point of view, then in the gravitation towards such phallic symbolism, traces of the influence of the Slavic tradition of veneration and deification of the Family as a phallus are noticeable. The Smolensk coat of arms from the "Chronicle of the Cathedral of Constance" of 1413 also contains a hidden phallic subtext in the depicted rear halves of the bodies of lions with eagles sitting on them 77.

In Ancient Russia, at a time when Christianity had not yet been adopted, the Slavs idolized otherworldly disembodied beings. The pagan gods of ancient Russia, according to the ideas of the ancients, are endowed with supernatural powers to influence everything that exists. They are responsible for all the fundamental principles of human existence, govern both the fate of the people themselves and everything that surrounds them.

Each deity performs a specific, utilitarian function. The history of the depth of centuries keeps many dozens of names, of which only a part is known to us now. This part has survived to this day thanks to the pagan rituals and rituals passed down from generation to generation, which over time became the basis of the customs of the Slavic family.

At the top of the hierarchy stands the supreme god, under his command are the gods of the environment for the existence of all living things, then the gods of human destinies and everyday life of people, at the bottom of the pyramid - the elements and forces of darkness.

Table pagan gods of ancient Russia:

P / p No. Deity name Purpose
1 ROD Supreme god of heaven and earth

13 MORAINE Goddess of evil, disease and death

Ancient Slavic god Rod

This is the supreme god who rules over all beings in the universe, including all other gods. He heads the pinnacle of the pagan pantheon of gods. He is the creator and founder. He is omnipotent and affects the entire cycle of life. It exists everywhere and has no beginning or end. This description is fully consistent with the concept of God in all modern religions.

The genus rules over life and death, abundance and poverty. No one has ever seen him, but he sees everyone. The root of his name is sewn into human speech - into the words with which people interpret (sound) in the material world their dominant spiritual and material values. Birth, relatives, homeland, spring, harvest - in all this Rod is present.

The hierarchy of the pagan gods of Russia

Under the leadership of the Rod, all Slavic deities and other spiritual essences are distributed in stages corresponding to their impact on the everyday affairs of people.

The upper step is occupied by the deities who govern global and national affairs: wars and ethnic conflicts, weather disasters, fertility and hunger, fertility and mortality.

At the middle level are the deities responsible for local affairs. They are patrons of agriculture, crafts, fishing and hunting, family concerns. People liken their face to their own.

The stylobate of the basis of the pantheon is assigned to spiritual entities, a bodily appearance unlike a human. These are kikimors, ghouls, goblin, brownies, ghouls, mermaids and many others like them.

The Slavic hierarchical pyramid ends there, in contrast to the ancient Egyptian, where there was also an afterlife with its own governing deities and laws, or, for example, where the basis is a numerous pantheon of gods.

Slavic gods in importance and power

God of the Slavs Khors and his incarnations

Khors is the son of Rod and brother of Veles. This is the god of the Sun in Ancient Russia. The face of Khors, like a sunny day, is yellow, radiant, dazzlingly bright. He has 4 incarnations:

 • Kolyada
 • Yarilo
 • Dazhdbog
 • Svarog.

Each hypostasis acts in the season of the year determined by it, and people expect help from each divine incarnation, with which the corresponding rituals and ceremonies are associated.

We still observe the traditions of the ancient Slavs: on Christmastide we guess, on Maslenitsa we fry pancakes, on Ivan Kupala we burn fires and weave wreaths.

1. God of the Slavs Kolyada

Kolyada begins the annual cycle and reigns from the winter solstice to the spring equinox (December 22 - March 21). In December, people greet the young Sun and praise Kolyada with ritual songs; festivities last until January 7th. This is Christmas time.

By this time, the owners are slaughtering domestic animals, opening pickles, and taking supplies to fairs. Throughout Christmas time, people arrange gatherings, plentiful feasts, fortune-telling, having fun, wooing and playing weddings. In general, doing nothing becomes quite legal. Kolyada treats all benefactors with his mercy, who show mercy and generosity to the poor.

2. God of the Slavs Yarilo

He is Yarovit, Ruevit, Yar - the sun god of a young age with the face of a barefoot fellow on a white horse. Wherever it looks, the seedlings will sprout, where it will pass - the herbs will grow. On his head is a crown of ears, in his left hand he holds a bow and arrows, in his right - the reins. Its time is from the vernal equinox to the summer solstice (March 22 - June 21). The people in the house are depleted, and there is a lot of work. When the sun turned back, then the tension in the labors subsided, the time of Dazhdbog came.

3. God of the Slavs Dazhdbog

He is Kupala or Kupaila - a sun god with the face of a man of mature age. Its time is from the summer solstice to the autumn equinox (June 22 - September 23). The meeting celebration is postponed July 6-7 due to busyness. On this mysterious night, people burn Yarila (or rather a scarecrow) on a large fire and jump over it, the girls let wreaths woven from flowers down the river. Everyone is looking for a blooming fern of desires. There is also a lot of work this season: mowing, harvesting fruits, fixing the house, preparing the sled.

4. God of the Slavs Svarog

The tired sun sinks lower and lower towards the horizon. In its slanting rays, the tall, strong old man Svarog (aka Svetovid), whitened with gray hair, takes over the baton of power. He looks north, gripping a heavy sword in his hand, with which he strikes the forces of darkness. He is the husband of the Earth, the father of Dazhdbog and all other gods of natural phenomena. Its time from September 23 to December 21 is a period of satiety, peace and prosperity. People do not grieve about anything, arrange fairs, play weddings.

Perun god of thunder and lightning

This is the god of war. Perun holds a rainbow sword in his right hand, and lightning arrows in his left. The clouds are his hair and beard, the thunder is his speech, the wind is his breath, the raindrops are the fertilizing seed. He is the son of Svarog (Svarozhich), and is also endowed with a formidable disposition. He patronizes brave warriors and everyone who makes an effort to hard work, gives them luck and strength.

Stribog god of wind

He is a god over the gods of the elemental forces of nature (Whistle, Weather and others). Stribog is the lord of wind, hurricanes and blizzards. He can be touchingly kind and fiercely evil. When he angrily blows on the horn, the element arises, when he is kind, the foliage just rustles, the streams murmur, the wind howls in the crevices of the trees. From these sounds of nature came music and songs, and with them musical instruments. They pray to Stribog that the storm will die down, and the hunters ask him for help in pursuing the sensitive and fearful animal.

Veles pagan god of wealth

This is the god of agriculture and cattle breeding. Veles is also called the god of wealth (aka Volos, the Month). He rules over the clouds. As a young man, he himself tended the heavenly sheep. In anger, Veles sends torrential rains to the ground. After the harvest, people still leave him one collected sheaf. His name is sworn in honor and loyalty.

Lada goddess of love and beauty

The goddess Lada is the patroness of the hearth. Her clothes are snow-white clouds, and the morning dew is tears. In the predawn haze, she escorts the shadows of the dead to the other world. Lada is the earthly incarnation of Rod, the high priestess, the mother goddess, surrounded by a retinue of young servants. She is beautiful and smart, courageous and dexterous, flexible like a vine, a sonorous flattering speech flows from her lips. Lada gives people advice on how to live, what can be done and what not. It condemns the guilty and acquits the falsely accused. A long time ago her temple stood on Ladoga, now her abode is heavenly blue.

God of the Slavs Chernobog

Many ancient legends have been said about the swamp evil, but not all of them have come down to us. After all, they are patronized by the powerful Chernobog - the ruler of the dark forces of evil and whims, grave illnesses and bitter misfortunes. This is the god of darkness. Young housewives were afraid to leave an unfinished tow for the night, believing that Mokosha would ruin the yarn, and with it fate. Northern Slavs consider Mokosha an unkind goddess.

God of the Slavs Paraskeva-Friday

Paraskeva-Friday is the concubine of Mokoshi, who made Paraskeva a deity who ruled over riotous youth, gambling, drinking with vulgar songs and obscene dances, as well as dishonest trade. Therefore, Friday was a market day in Ancient Russia for a long time. On this day, women were not allowed to work, because Paraskeva could turn the disobedient into a cold toad for disobedience. She poisoned water in wells and underground springs. Today this goddess has no power and is practically forgotten.

One of the most important wisdoms says that you should never argue and quarrel with a person, clan or people, because his, or their, Gods are different from yours. You should not denigrate someone else's faith, it is better, having free time, to raise a new prayer to your own Gods. Do not seek to understand where the Supreme Gods draw their strength and wisdom from. When they come to your aid, gratefully accept their gifts, and nothing more.
