What is better bathroom and shower. Bath or shower which is better

Happy owners of cottages and luxury apartments have the opportunity to install any equipment they want in their spacious bathrooms.

The owner of an ordinary apartment, as a rule, has to solve the dilemma of what to choose: a bath or a shower?

Let's compare both options, evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and listen to the arguments of the supporters of each of the devices.

The complexity of this problem lies in the fact that both the bath and each are good in their own way. Moreover, what suits one may not suit another, and often family members have to break a lot of copies before they converge on one of the options. Consider the pros and cons of each solution.

Bath

Advantages:

 1. In the bath, you can relax and truly relax, which the owner of a shower cabin can only dream of. In our hectic time, when many people suffer from stress and chronic fatigue syndrome, this opportunity is extremely important not only for the body, but also for the psyche. Soaring in a hot bath, as if in zero gravity, the user is easier to abandon the many problems surrounding him than in any other situation.
 2. If you dissolve herbal infusion or sea salt in water, then bathing in the bath turns into a healing procedure. First of all, it has a positive effect on the skin, which is especially important for women. In their lives, for obvious reasons, all sorts of cosmetic subtleties play a significant role. But for men suffering, for example, from one or another skin disease, a herbal bath is very useful.
 3. Bathing in the bath is much better at removing dirt, sweat and dead cells from the skin, because due to the relatively long stay in hot water, all this has time to become sour and soften.
 4. A person frozen in the cold will warm up in a hot bath much faster than in a shower. As you know, the Japanese survive in their cardboard and unheated houses only thanks to super-hot fuko baths, which provide a charge of heat for long hours. If they only had showers at their disposal, the inhabitants of the Land of the Rising Sun would have had a hard time.
 5. You can take a bath together, creating a romantic entourage with the help of candles and a couple of glasses of champagne, which, of course, is not available in the shower.
 6. Equipped accordingly, you can get a lot of what a shower cabin provides. This is not only a regular shower, but also side hydromassage jets, as well as a rack with a rain shower. Yes, and the bath itself can be equipped with air massage nozzles. The second option for the shower cabin is not available.
 7. A bathtub is easier to keep clean than a shower stall, which has many protruding elements and hard-to-reach places.
 8. A bath is indispensable if there are children in the family. For a very small crumb, it will act as a small pool in which you can swim before going to bed. After such procedures, children sleep well, and in addition, they contribute to hardening.
 9. Older children love to play with different toys in the bath. Today, even a special kind of bath foam is produced, from which you can sculpt a variety of shapes.
 10. In the bath, you can soak and wash things that cannot be washed in a washing machine. Also, only in the bathroom you can wash a large item, such as a rug.
 11. To bathe a large dog, and there are such in many families today, is possible only in the bath.
 12. It will be possible to take a bath even at very low pressure in the water supply, while the shower, and even more so the hydromassage jets, will be useless in such a situation.

The main drawback of the bath is its large size, which is of particular importance in a small bathroom. For example, in the "Khrushchev" in the presence of a bath, it becomes impossible to install a washing machine.

The way out of the situation can be the installation of a bath of a special configuration, which on the one hand (it is assumed that the user's legs will be located here) is somewhat narrowed.

shower cabin

Advantages:

 1. The most important plus - takes, especially. Next to the shower cabin, even in the smallest bathroom, the washing machine will fit freely. Moreover, the cabin can be quite small - today models with dimensions in terms of 80x80 cm are produced. It is only important to get into it and move a little before buying to understand if it will not be crowded here.
 2. Of course, you can’t relax in a shower cabin, but a shower requires much less water than a bath. The difference in the cost of one bath may seem small, but for a month, and even more so for a year, quite a tangible amount will be saved.
 3. If the cabin is - the so-called shower box - then the steam formed during bathing will not enter the room. Such models are connected by an air duct directly to the exhaust ventilation duct and are equipped with a fan that pumps out moist air. For a bathroom, the walls and ceiling of which are not lined with moisture-resistant material, and even more so for a wooden house, this option is the most acceptable.
 4. The side of the shower cabin can be very low; in the so-called ultra-low pallets, it is practically absent altogether. Such a cabin can be easily entered by a user with limited mobility - elderly or sick or overweight. And in order to take a shower in the bath or lie down in it, in any case, you will have to climb over the high side.
 5. Some of the features available in modern shower boxes will not be available to the owner of the bath. If he can still install a “tropical shower” stand with a shower, then creating a sauna environment with the help of a steam generator will definitely not work. In addition, in the "advanced" shower cabins there are radio and telephone. Of course, they can also be led to the bath, but you will have to tinker a lot with the selection of equipment, its fastening, insulation from moisture, laying wires, etc.

To this, you can also add spectacular lighting, which is available in all closed boxes. It can change color, thus affecting the mood of the user (this is called chromotherapy).

What is better to choose?

As you can see, there are situations when the choice becomes unambiguous. For example, if there are small children in the family or a large dog lives in the house, you willy-nilly have to install a bath.

Just like in a wooden house, the most appropriate is a closed installation, the design of which prevents steam from entering the room.

In all other cases, the lifestyle of the household should be taken into account. Many people today, especially young people, are forced to save every second due to increased employment. A bath for such a person will be useless, since he simply does not have time to lie down in it.

If the owner has free time, then the choice in favor of the bath will be more preferable, since, as shown above, it provides more opportunities.

The troubles associated with repairs almost always force apartment owners to choose which is better: a bath or a shower. Reviews of those who have already decided, as well as a description of the advantages and disadvantages of these types of plumbing, you will find in the article.

Types of baths: pros and cons

In modern specialized stores, there are 3 types of bathtubs to choose from: cast iron, steel, acrylic. Each of them has its own characteristics, which are worth knowing about if you do not want to put a shower.

Cast iron bath

Cast iron bathtubs

pros cast iron bathtubs:

 1. If you take care of the enamel, it lasts a very long time. The average warranty period is 25 years.
 2. The most resistant, including to deformations.
 3. Keeps warm for a long time.
 4. Relatively quiet when taking on water.

Minuses cast iron bathtubs:

 1. With serious houses it is very difficult.
 2. Over time, it becomes more and more difficult to wash it: the surface becomes porous.
 3. There is no variety of shapes, most often these are ordinary rectangles.
 4. They are very heavy. But if you are not going to move in the next 20-30 years, this drawback is not significant.

Advice. Imported cast iron bathtubs are lighter than domestic counterparts. According to reviews, the enamel on them is better.

Steel baths

pros steel tubs:

 • Quality models last up to 15 years.
 • There are various forms.
 • They weigh 4-5 times less than analogues made of cast iron. This is convenient for a country option or a modest budget.

steel bath

Minuses steel tubs:

 • Very noisy when filling water.
 • Easily deformed, which leads to damage to the enamel. It mostly concerns inexpensive thin-walled models.
 • They have high thermal conductivity. They give off heat quite quickly and the water cools down.

Acrylic bathtubs

pros acrylic bathtubs:

 1. The most silent, in comparison with other types.
 2. It has low thermal conductivity: heats up quickly and retains heat for a long time.
 3. Minor damage is easy to repair.
 4. , with additional options.
 5. They are not slippery and are easy to clean.

Acrylic bath

Minuses acrylic bathtubs:

 1. Over time, they lose their gloss, because they are easily scratched.
 2. Fragile when compared with cast iron counterparts.
 3. Inexpensive bathtubs are sometimes stained, for example, if you wash colored clothes there.
 4. Good, high-quality models (not acrylic fakes) are not cheap.

Shower cabin: advantages and disadvantages

Cabins are open and closed. The former partially limit the territory of the shower, since there is a partition or door between the walls. Such devices are cheaper than closed analogues, in which everything is hermetically sealed due to the roof, thereby creating the effect of a sauna.

Shower cabin with acrylic tray

They differ in functionality and materials from which pallets are made:

 • cast iron - durable, but heated for a long time;
 • steel make a loud noise;
 • ceramic - rather fragile, can break if a heavy object is dropped on them;
 • marble look spectacular, but are expensive;
 • krill look good, but are not resistant to damage.

Advice. Choose a shower cabin size of at least 0.8 x 0.8 m, otherwise it will be uncomfortable to be in it.

Benefits of showers

 1. Save space. Good for installation in small bathrooms.
 2. Safe. For the production of cabins, non-slip material is used, which practically eliminates the possibility of injury.
 3. They consume water sparingly, about 2-3 times less than when bathing in a bath.
 4. Equipped with additional functionality. For example, the presence of a telephone or radio, the ability to switch water supply modes (massage jets, etc.). In some cabins, inhalations or aromatherapy can be carried out.
 5. They have a variety of mounting methods and accessories. fast and easy.

Shower cabin will allow you to reduce water consumption

Cons of showers

 1. High-quality rectangular models with a solid door are wide, which does not always make it possible to install them in a small bathroom.
 2. The functionality of the cabin depends on the pressure of the water. If it is less than 1.5 bar, then you can only take a shower, additional options (if provided) will not be available.
 3. Over time, doors and walls accumulate a white coating (the result of dried spray). Need a thorough wash after you shower.
 4. As a rule, they cost more than bathtubs. Although it is available to pick up an inexpensive middle-class cabin.
 5. Unlike baths, they do not provide an opportunity to soak up and relax. True, you can purchase a shower room, which includes a bath, but its dimensions and cost are larger than a traditional cabin.

Shower cabin requires constant care

Bath or cabin: reviews

Owners who have already faced the problem of choice and learned from their own experience highlight the following moments of using the shower and bath:

 • if no one in the family likes to bask in the bathroom, the best option is a shower, because it saves about 2.5 times the area of the room;
 • you can also take a shower in the bathroom, if you hang a curtain and install a mixer, but you can’t take a bath in the cabin (unless you initially buy a shower room with a built-in bathtub);

Shower room with built-in bathtub

 • when buying a cabin, you should choose a more expensive model, but without additional options (for example, "rain shower"). These features are rarely used, and the cost is significantly affected;
 • a bath is necessary in cases where you need to wash or rinse something (for example, voluminous blankets or bedspreads that do not fit in a washing machine);
 • if there are elderly people in the family, due to their age and state of health, it is more difficult for them to take a hot bath, it is more convenient for them to take a shower;
 • for a family with a small child or pets (cat, dog), it is better to put a bath for water procedures;
 • you can take a shower faster, because in order to fill the bath, you need to wait a certain time;

You can take a shower at any moment, while a bath needs to be prepared

 • it is easier to install a bath if you choose between it and a modern cabin model with additional functionality;
 • the shower is more hygienic, since the dirt immediately flows down the drain, and in the bath you have to lie in the same water with germs;
 • in the bath there is an opportunity to relax, while in the shower many muscles are still tense;
 • you can also bathe a child in the shower: many modern models are equipped with deep trays, which will just pass for a mini-bath. At the same time, the load on the back is less felt;
 • take a therapeutic bath or arrange an aromatherapy session in the shower will not work;

The shower cabin will take up less space in the bathroom

 • showers are much more economical in terms of water costs. Some consumers who have changed the bath for a shower note this in the very first month of using the new plumbing;
 • in the bathroom it is better to wash off strong pollution, soaking there for a certain time, but it is more convenient to wash your hair in the cabin;
 • a contrast shower is an essential advantage of the cabins;
 • it is more difficult to care for the cabin, if it is not washed every time after use, plaque will appear;
 • using a bathtub, there is a chance of spilling water on the floor and flooding the neighbors, and the cabin is hermetically sealed.

A bath is more suitable for you if there are small children in the house

It is impossible to give an unambiguous answer to the question of which is better: a bath or a shower. It all depends on many factors, comparing which you will make the right decision. To decide what to put in the bathroom, the recommendations of experts and consumer reviews will help. And even if family members are divided in opinion, you can always find a compromise.

For example, fix a special sliding screen on the bath or hang a curtain and install a faucet. If the dimensions of the room and financial possibilities allow, get a shower with a bathtub. At the same time, be interested not only in the manufacturer and price, but also in the functionality of plumbing, as well as the guarantee. In this case, whatever you choose, both the shower and the bath will be a good purchase that will last a long time.

Follow these tips.

 1. Pay attention to the depth of the pallet, which can be of different parameters: flat, shallow, deep. The flat tray is designed for people with physical problems and is now in demand by customers.
 2. If a mirror is installed inside the model, this is an indispensable element for morning hygiene procedures. In order to protect the mirror from fogging, it must be treated with a special agent.

If your house has insufficient water pressure, we advise you to purchase a shower unit for one and a half bars of Hydro-Box or Jasuz-zi.

After we have considered all the advantages of showers, let's talk about bath models, all their advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages and disadvantages of the bath

Before concluding that there is nothing better than a shower cabin, because it is modern style, time saving, comfort, pleasure from hydromassage and so on. But, nevertheless, consider all the advantages and disadvantages of the bath.

Installing a bathtub in the bathroom

Positive sides:

 • lying in the bath, you can truly relax in full force;
 • medical procedures with herbal infusions in the bath contribute to the rapid healing of the body;
 • lying in a bath with abundant foam makes it easier to wash the body;
 • Great equipment for bathing and hardening young children.

Negative sides:

 • a large area is needed;
 • high water consumption.

Compromise solutions

When asking the question, which is better - a shower or a bath, several significant circumstances should be taken into account. Since standard apartments have a small bathroom area, therefore, it is better to install a small and narrowed bathtub. If you want to save useful space in the bathroom, then by installing shower equipment with your own hands, you can fit a washing machine or a small cabinet.

If the bathroom has a large area, you can install a bathtub as well as a shower. This option will please not only you, but also all households. If such an option exists in your home, we advise you to leave reviews of shower cabins with a bathtub after the article on our website.

Characteristic features of shower cabins with a bath

The modern market offers a large selection of shower cabins, the models of which are being improved every year.

The Miracle Cabin is an innovation that has become a top priority for many customers. By purchasing such an installation, you will not only constantly please yourself, but also your whole family. The main advantage of such models is that they are very convenient, easy to use, multifunctional.

Bathtub + shower combination

But there is one, but a very significant drawback. If your bathroom is small, then the bathtub should be dismantled. And this means that by installing a shower installation, you automatically lose your pleasant pastime in a hot bath, especially in winter, when you want to warm up and also relax. Therefore, a shower cabin is just a pleasant shower that cannot replace a bath.

In order to cater to the needs of buyers, the modern market offers combined baths with showers. By installing such equipment in your bathroom, you combine two essential functions that are indispensable for a normal life in modern society. The main difference between such equipment is that a full-fledged bathroom is installed instead of a low pallet. Such a combination, that is, two - in one, will perfectly please your desires.

Pros and cons of miracle cabins

 • shower boxes are much more convenient than a regular shower or bath. Firstly, you can simultaneously take a horizontal or vertical hydromassage. Secondly, instead of a shallow tray, a full-fledged bathtub with hydromassage functions is installed in the box. Through the operation of the jets located at the bottom and sides of the bath, you can regulate water flows, which have a beneficial effect on your well-being, as well as the blood circulation process in the body;
 • if you do not always use the washing machine, then the bathroom is the ideal equipment for washing small laundry;
 • if your family is large, then by installing a shower box, you will please the whole family. For example, you can afford to soak in the hot tub, and your grandmother will only use the shower;
 • the modern market offers multifunctional shower boxes that are of high quality, the reliability of which is guaranteed.
 • if you want to purchase such a shower box, the area of the bathroom should be spacious enough;
 • since the equipment has large dimensions, only professionals should install it;
 • the cost of a miracle - cabins is quite high.

If you have thoroughly decided to re-equip the bathroom and cannot decide what is better than a bathtub or a shower cabin, read the reviews at the end of the article on our website. Separately, a shower cabin is convenient in small bathrooms, especially for the elderly, and a bath is for those who like to relax or lie down in an abundance of foam, with candles.

Bathtub in the bathroom

Any owner wants to equip his bathroom with maximum comfort and functionality. Therefore, the question of what is better to choose: a bathroom or a shower cabin appears quite often. To solve it, you need to carefully consider the pros and cons of each of these plumbing fixtures.

Shower cubicle: what is it good for

This type of plumbing is becoming more and more in demand. The main advantages of a shower cabin:

 • Perhaps the most important plus, thanks to which a booth is purchased, is space saving, because this modern plumbing invention can be compactly placed in a small bathroom or an adjacent bathroom;
 • Water is consumed less, respectively, and bills for its payment are reduced;
 • Cabin doors are hermetically sealed, eliminating even the slightest splash of water on the floor and walls. In this case, you do not need to additionally purchase a rug and a curtain;
 • A variety of sizes, allowing you to choose a cabin not only by the area of the room, but also by the dimensions of the body;
 • Thanks to the non-slip tray (you can choose its shape and depth), taking water procedures will become more comfortable for the elderly and people with disabilities;
 • Inside some models there is a built-in mirror that does not fog up from steam and hot water, as well as special convenient dispensers for bath products (gel, liquid soap, shampoo). It is very comfortable.

And for those who like to take a shower, there are many additional functions:

 • "Tropical rain" - a nozzle built into the ceiling, sprays the water stream into small sprays, creating the effect of a summer downpour. This procedure will help relieve stress, calm down and relax;
 • "Turkish bath" - a steam generator creates a temperature of up to 60 degrees, allowing you to warm up the body, cleanse it of toxins and improve the functioning of the circulatory system;
 • "Aromatherapy" - some models are equipped with a connector that is filled with aromatic incense. Steam, passing through them, creates a pleasant smell and helps to relax;
 • Hydromassage - water is supplied to the surface of the arms, legs, neck and back with enhanced power thanks to special nozzles that can be independently adjusted and directed in the right direction;
 • You can connect a radio to the cabin and take a shower with music. You can also connect it to your phone, which will allow you not to miss an important call during water procedures.

Despite the huge list of advantages, this device also has disadvantages:

 • The main disadvantage is the direct dependence on the pressure in the water supply system. This problem is especially acute in high-rise buildings. Therefore, before purchasing equipment, it is better to consult a qualified plumber;
 • It is very difficult to hand wash clothes in a shallow pan;
 • Bathing young children or washing pets is quite problematic;
 • It will not work to lie horizontally in a large amount of water or foam;
 • Relatively high cost of plumbing fixtures. If there are many additional functions, then the price increases even more;
 • The service life of the product, even with the necessary proper care, is no more than 10 years. Pollution occurs especially quickly in regions where various impurities are present in large quantities in the water.

Bath: is the usual better?

Many still prefer the already familiar high-quality plumbing and do not want to change it to a modern one. The following advantages of the bathroom can be distinguished:

 • An ideal place to relax - in the bathroom you can relax more comfortably, relieve muscle tension and calm down, taking a horizontal position. Water procedures can be supplemented with herbs, aromatics or sea salt;
 • It is better to wash, lying in a plentiful amount of foam. This will help wash dirt and sweat from the body after a workout or hard physical work;
 • It is more convenient to perform water procedures with children and accustom them to water and hardening;
 • Easier to wash pets;
 • Ease of maintenance and longer service life;
 • Buying and installing a bath will cost much less.

The two main disadvantages are the increased water consumption and the need to allocate a large area for installation.

Disputes about what is still better - a shower and a bath, will always be. But, before making a choice, carefully weigh all the above "Pros" and "Cons" and select the necessary option.

Video: Which is better: shower or bath?

When decorating their bathroom, many people face a choice: a shower or a bath? Now we will try to find out the positive and negative aspects of both solutions.

The first step is to understand what you yourself are used to, and what kind of pastime is more enjoyable for you. The bath has a relaxing effect and allows you to relax after a hard day's work. The shower will help you wake up and give you energy for the whole day. Let's look at the bath and shower as a means of cleansing. A stay in the bath allows you to gently open the skin pores and thus cleanse them. It should be remembered that it is better to use different types of soap for the bathroom, rather than shower gels, since the latter create a special film on the skin that can only be washed off under a strong stream. In this regard, the shower provides the function of hydromassage and deeper cleansing.

In each house and apartment, a magical room is provided at the planning stage - a bathroom. Its direct purpose is to provide convenience during hygiene procedures. But everything would be very boring if people used the bathroom only for its intended purpose. For most of us, water procedures are restoration and relaxation, and our hygiene habits are built according to the concept of these matters.

Few of us are lucky enough to have a sauna or jacuzzi on our property: most of us have two types of regulated water facilities available, these are a bath and a shower. There are as many adherents of both types of ablutions as there are of each separately: each gives a lot of arguments in favor of his habit. Is there any truth in this matter? Which is better - a bath or a shower?

When moving into a new home and starting to equip a bathroom, any family will be faced with a choice between a bathtub and a shower cabin. Well, if the footage allows you to put both. But often you have to choose based on the size of the room. In terms of ease of placement, a shower is more profitable - it saves space.

However, you see, it is impossible to decide what to buy without having an idea of the price of the issue. A shower cabin was not so long ago a luxury for most consumers: now it is offered by many specialized centers, competition from manufacturers is at the level, therefore, like a bath, a shower cabin (as well as heating units for them) can be selected according to your size and pocket. What is cheaper? Equally!
Will our acquisition pay off soon? With a water flow of 8 to 15 liters per minute, 100 liters of water are required for taking a shower, and twice as much for taking a bath. This is due to the fact that, standing in the shower, we dissolve the dirt from the skin and hair with hot water and instantly wash it off with streams from the watering can. The process is continuous, whereas bathing ends in dirty water and requires 2-3 rinses.

In terms of care, however, the shower cabin will not please the hostesses. Every time after taking a shower (especially if you don’t have very high-quality water in the tap), the walls of the cabin will be covered with plaque, which, in principle, can save us from having to hide behind a curtain, besides, shower cabin cleaning products are not yet sold everywhere. Some manufacturers recommend washing their products every time after taking a shower - that is, several times a day. In this sense, a bath is more convenient: even a child can clean it up (by the way, try bathing a child in the shower!), And the choice of means for caring for her is richer.

In terms of effects on the body, a shower and a bath occupy two opposite positions. A shower invigorates, a bath relaxes and soothes, but both of them are capable of “giving birth to us again”. In order not to spoil the effect of rebirth from being in the bath, you need to know that a warm bath (36-38 degrees) can be taken no more than 30 minutes, and a hot one (more than 38 degrees) - even less: 10-15. Minus for those who like to lie in the bath for hours. While in the shower we can enjoy until the water runs out.

From the point of view of cleansing, a bath is more useful because a long stay in hot water delicately and gently opens the pores, which is difficult to achieve under shower jets flowing around the body. The state of weightlessness, which gives the hydrostatic factor, frees from gravity, unloads the musculoskeletal system and promotes the outflow of blood from the veins in the legs. When bathing in the bath, it is recommended to use any convenient soap, as washing gels leave a film of mineral oils on the body, which will clog open pores and interfere with pore cleansing processes. Shower gels are more useful, since the dirt, which, as we have already found out above, flows off us during the entire procedure, will slip off the skin along this very film, without lingering anywhere. In the bath, however, it is impossible to achieve the hydromassage effect that the shower gives us.

Are there any medical contraindications for taking a bath or shower? It turns out there is. Doctors do not advise people with hypotension, hypertension and varicose veins to take a bath. Also, frequent baths are not recommended for those ladies who suffer from problematic skin - provided that healthy skin can relatively easily endure the hostess’s “blunder” in water temperature and bath duration, sensitive and problematic skin will respond to such rudeness with peeling, tightness, pimples and inflammation. Also, the bath is contraindicated for patients after surgery and for women during menstruation. The shower is shown to everyone, with the exception of a contrast shower: for people with cardiovascular diseases, as well as for those who have a cold or runny nose, it is not recommended.

In matters “for the soul”, the bath wins. It is pleasant to bask in clouds of foam, and nourishing the skin with salts, oils and additives is much more convenient than in the shower. Lying in the bathroom, you can perform facial and hair treatments, which is also not possible in the shower. When bathing children, a bathtub is also an indispensable tool.

Well, the last, unexpected argument in favor of the bath is the percentage of injuries. According to sources on the net, the percentage of injuries from falling in the shower is 15% higher than from falling from sliding on the tiled bathroom floor. Well, injuries when falling in the bath are negligible: lying down is difficult to fall, you know.

You need to understand in what particular style you want to equip your bathroom. For modern and aggressive styles such as high-tech and minimalism, a shower cabin is an absolute choice. It will require cabins made of transparent glass with metal inserts. If you stick to a more classic interior, for example, in the Provence style, then you can’t do without a beautiful white bath and walls decorated with pastel-colored tiles. The shape of the bathroom can be different, as well as the material from which it is made: from iron to hardwood. Many design solutions look very stylish, but again, they are suitable for large rooms.

And with such, practically, no margin, but the shower still pulls ahead. With the exception of injury and maintenance difficulties, showering is cheaper and healthier. But the bath is more useful, hygienic and safer. The choice, however, is still ours and our habits.

Especially for those who do not find time to take a bath and prefer to wash in the shower, here are five reasons why you should still draw water into the bathroom at least once a week and soak in it:

1. Prevention of colds. A bath is indispensable if you or your child is often sick. It is especially useful to lie in a warm bath after walking outside in bad weather, when your feet are wet or very cold. The bath will help to warm up the whole body and thereby prevent the development of cold symptoms. After a bath, drink a glass of warm green tea with lemon or chamomile and you don't have to worry about a possible cold.

2. Skin cleansing. With the help of a shower, no one will be able to cleanse the skin as effectively as a warm bath. In the bath, as in a bath, the pores open, and the skin is completely cleansed of the dirt accumulated in it. To remove dead skin cells, you can exfoliate with ground coffee or honey after the bath. The skin after this procedure will become even and smooth.

3. Relaxation. In order not to get annoyed over trifles, you need to do a full course of massage twice a year, take a bath once a month or visit spa treatments. Naturally, not everyone can afford such pleasure. An alternative to all these procedures can be a regular bath. Type water at a temperature that is comfortable for you, add pine, sage, lavender or rosemary essential oil to it. Dim the lights, light the candles and indulge in a soothing relaxing bath.

4. Cool down and stretch the muscles. When you sit at a computer for a long time or do physical exercises, the muscles become very tense and stagnation begins in them. Therefore, at the end of any physical training or after a long sitting, it is necessary to do a hitch and stretch the muscles. It can be a short walk or simple exercise, but the best thing for this purpose is to combine business with pleasure and take a warm bath with the addition of sea salt or herbal extract.

5. Remedy for low blood pressure. Weather-sensitive people are sensitive to changes in the weather. They are often troubled by headaches and weakness if the sky is covered with clouds and rain is planned. The reason for this is low blood pressure. To improve your well-being in these cases is quite simple - take hot water into the bath and add coniferous decoction to it. Lie in the bath for 10-15 minutes and the resulting effect of the water treatment will surely surprise you.
