Lasagna is an incredibly delicious Italian dish that is prepared with minced meat and sauce. But today I will tell you how to cook lazy lasagna and ordinary thin pita bread will help us with this. Because if we take special sheets for lasagna, they will need to be boiled a little more, which will take some time. And with lavash it’s much faster and easier. It turns out very tasty and appetizing, the main thing is not to skimp on the sauce, then the lavash lasagna will be amazingly tasty and juicy.

Ingredients:

  • lavash – 1 large sheet.
  • pork - 400 grams.
  • onions - 2 pieces.
  • carrots - 1 piece.
  • tomato – 1 piece.
  • milk – 100 ml.
  • flour – 1 tbsp. spoon.
  • salt - to taste.
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • ground paprika - to taste.
  • hard cheese – 50 grams.
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook lasagne from pita bread with minced meat:

Cut the pork into large pieces and grind into mince. The size of the nozzle does not matter.

After this, the minced meat needs to be fried. First, heat the frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil into it, and when the oil is hot, pour the minced meat into it. Fry until almost done and add salt, pepper and paprika. Mix and remove from heat.

Peel the tomato and cut into small cubes. You can take two tomatoes. Chop the onion and grate the carrots on a fine grater. You don't have to add carrots if you don't like them.

Pour the vegetables into the hot frying pan in which the minced meat was fried. Fry until golden and remove from heat.

Now let's prepare the bechamel sauce. For the sauce, pour milk into a saucepan with a thick bottom and add salt and flour. Mix everything with a whisk and put on fire. Bring the sauce to a boil and remove from heat. Bechamel is ready.

Next you need to assemble the lasagna. Place parchment on the bottom of the pan. Make a mold of the desired size. Cut the pita bread into 4 parts, focusing on the size of the mold. Place one sheet of lavash on the bottom and half the minced meat on top.

After traveling to sunny Italy, I literally fell ill with Italian cuisine. Every day I prepared different dishes and snacks, many of which we had not even tried during the trip. I was just so carried away by this that I signed up for master classes from famous Italian restaurant chefs to properly learn how to cook pizza, lasagna, ravioli, calzones and pastas with all kinds of fillings.
Of course, after some time, my interest in this cuisine noticeably diminished, and my household more and more wanted simple borscht or chicken cutlets with porridge for lunch. Therefore, I began to gradually integrate my knowledge, experience gained and come up with new dishes. For example, today for you - lasagna made from pita bread with minced meat, recipe with photos at home. But unlike the classic recipe, I replaced the dough for this dish with thin Armenian lavash.
According to tradition, lasagna is prepared from different fillings, layered with dough, coated with several types of sauces and sprinkled with sliced ​​dairy cheeses - Mozzarella or Ricotta; in some cases, you can add grated Parmesan. I started adding a layer of Dutch cheese to my lasagna, and I really liked this option. As a filling, I put minced pork or beef, fried with onions in a frying pan. And I use classic sauces - tomato sauce made from chopped ripe tomatoes, evaporated in a frying pan, and white Bechamel sauce. I bake the dish in the oven until golden brown. It turns out very tasty, juicy and appetizing, the main thing is not to skimp on the sauce, then the lasagna will be amazingly tasty.


Ingredients:
- minced meat (pork or beef) – 500 g,
- onion – 1 pc.,
- thin lavash – 3 pcs.,
- garlic – 1-2 cloves,
- whole milk – 1 tbsp.,
- butter – 60 g,
- ripe tomato fruits – 5 pcs.,
- wheat flour – 2 tbsp.,
- hard cheese (any kind, but Dutch is better) – 250 g.

Let's divide the preparation of the dish into stages, and first of all, prepare the meat filling.




To do this, mix the minced meat with finely chopped onion and fry in a frying pan until golden brown, add salt and spices.




Next, prepare the sauces for pouring. Cut the washed tomatoes in half and grate them to obtain tomato juice.






Mix it with crushed garlic.




And then evaporate over low heat for 10-15 minutes.




Next, pour the flour into the saucepan and fry it until golden brown, add a piece of butter.






Then gradually pour in warm milk. At the same time, constantly stir the bechamel with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Boil for a few minutes, add salt and spices.




Now grate the hard cheese.




Finally, the stage of assembling the dish came. Place the pita bread cut to the size of the bottom into a prepared refractory pan (oiled). If the pita bread is very thin, then you can lay it out in two layers.
Place a third of the tomato sauce on it and spread it evenly.




Next, lay out half the portion of minced meat.






Then pour half of the Bechamel sauce onto the meat.




Sprinkle with grated cheese (half) and distribute it over the surface of the sauce.




Now cover the cheese with another sheet of pita bread and repeat the order of layers.

Ingredients

for the dish:

  • thin lavash – 2 pcs.
  • raw pork meat – 300 g
  • onions – 2 pcs.
  • tomato – 4 pcs.
  • fresh parsley – 30 g
  • garlic – 1 tooth.
  • cheese – 200 g
  • salt – 1 tsp.
  • ground pepper – ½ tsp.
  • dried basil – 1 tsp.
  • vegetable oil – 30 g

for bechamel sauce:

  • milk – 200 g
  • flour – 2 tbsp. l.
  • butter – 50 g

Recipe: “Pita bread lasagna with minced meat”

Wash the meat, trim off excess fat. Cut into small pieces. Peel the onion head and also cut into quarters. Using a meat grinder, grind into minced meat.

Add salt and ground pepper to the prepared minced meat. Mix.

Fresh tomatoes, wash, cut in half and grate on a coarse grater. You can, of course, grind them through a sieve, but I prefer it this way.

In a hot frying pan with a spoon of vegetable oil, pour the tomato pulp, add a large clove of chopped garlic. Simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Pour three tablespoons of this dressing into a small container and set aside for later.

In the meantime, you need to make bechamel sauce. To do this, pour a few tablespoons of flour into a dry frying pan and fry it lightly until golden brown. Then, add melted butter. Mix vigorously so that there are no lumps.

When the sauce reaches the correct consistency and thickens a little, remove from heat. Leave to cool.

Grind hard cheese on a coarse grater.

Add finely chopped onions to the raw minced meat. Place it in a frying pan with vegetable oil and sauté for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Next, add stewed tomatoes, fresh parsley and a few tablespoons of boiled water to the meat. Season with spices to taste. Continue cooking with the lid closed over low heat for 3 minutes.

After this time, the juicy filling for the dish will be ready. It needs to be cooled.

Now, you can form the dish itself. Thin pita bread, split each sheet in half. Place a sheet of pita bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Coat it with a few spoons of tomato and garlic dressing (which you saved earlier). Place a second sheet on top and cover it with the stewed meat and tomatoes.

Then sprinkle with grated cheese, also using only a third of it. Repeat this way for each layer of lasagna.

The last layer is a sheet of pita bread, which is poured with the remaining sauce and grated cheese. Heat the oven to 190 degrees. Bake for 20 minutes.

After this time, remove from the oven and cool slightly. Then, cut into portions, each, sprinkle with aromatic herbs.

For those who like to eat lasagna, but don’t know how to prepare a quick version, these are the recipes. There is no dough at all in the preparation. Instead, thin Armenian lavash is used as the basis of the dish. All that remains is to prepare the minced meat filling with tomato and white creamy sauce. Additional “highlights” of the recipes will include the following products: white or red table wine, smoked bacon, butter, sun-dried tomatoes and various types of cheese.

Ingredients:

  • one pita bread;
  • 0.4 kg minced beef;
  • 100-120 g minced pork;
  • one onion;
  • a couple of spoons of vegetable oil;
  • a spoon of tomato paste;
  • fine salt if necessary;
  • a few pinches of nutmeg;
  • a glass of cream;
  • two tablespoons of flour;
  • 100-120 g parmesan.

How to quickly cook lasagne from pita bread with minced meat

Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Add chicken mince.

Chop the bacon and add to the minced meat. Add some salt. Stir. Fry the mixture until golden brown. Add tomato paste. Stir.

Pour sour cream into a saucepan. Add egg yolk, dry garlic, corn flour and a little salt. Heat until thickened - this is 3-4 minutes over low heat while stirring.

Place sheets of cut lavash in the mold - use thin Armenian lavash for the recipe. Apply a layer of chicken filling on it. Then the sauce. A little cream cheese. Lavash again. Make the filling layers thin. Layer with lavash. The final layer should be cheesy.

Bake in the oven at 180-190˚C. This will take less time if your oven has a bottom-up function.

Ingredients:

  • 350 g minced pork;
  • one thin pita bread;
  • 30-40 ml vegetable oil;
  • large turnip onion;
  • a bunch of parsley;
  • 120-150 g sun-dried tomatoes;
  • half a glass of dry red wine;
  • several champignons;
  • a glass of milk (approximately 250 ml);
  • spoon of flour;
  • one egg yolk;
  • a piece of hard cheese (140-150 g);
  • fine salt to taste.

How to cook

Since you don't need to make the dough, make the filling. Peel and rinse the onion. Chop finely with a knife. Mix with minced pork. Transfer to a well-heated frying pan with oil. Fry over moderate heat. Stir after a couple of minutes. Bring the ingredients until golden brown. Pour in the wine. Simmer until it evaporates. Remove from heat.

Grind the sun-dried tomatoes into puree in a blender. Stir into pork roast.

Wash the mushrooms. Dry. Cut into slices. Fry until golden brown. Add to fried minced meat. Mix everything together.

Combine milk, yolk, flour and a little salt in a saucepan. Heat until thickened. Stir constantly, otherwise the mixture will burn and thicken unevenly.

Prepare the remaining ingredients. Pass the cheese through a grater. Cut the pita bread into pieces - use your baking dish as a guide. Chop the parsley.

Place all prepared ingredients in the mold. Follow the order. A layer of lavash (can be made double), meat with mushrooms, parsley, sauce, cheese, lavash. So use all the ingredients.

The last step is the easiest. Place the pan in the oven and wait. Recommended temperature is 190-200˚C, and time is 50-55 minutes.

The recipe uses sun-dried tomatoes with sauce. They give the filling not only taste, but also thickness. And if you don’t have exactly such a product on hand, replace it with tomatoes in their own juice or tomato paste.

  • a couple of cloves of garlic;

On average, one standard-sized lasagna takes from 1 to 2 packages of pita bread, but the number of sheets varies depending on the size of the mold and its height. That is why we recommend purchasing this product with a small supply - you can always use the excess to prepare other dishes.

If you want a fattier dish, then use meat from the drumsticks and thighs. For a more dietary dish, it is better to take sirloin.

  • Peel the onion and chop it into the smallest cubes, also peel the carrots and grate them on a medium grater.
  • Pour the oil into the frying pan and begin to fry the vegetables over low heat until the onion is golden brown.
  • We also add our minced meat here. We constantly knead it with a spatula to crush the pieces as much as possible.
  • Grind the canned tomatoes with a blender and also pour this mass into the frying pan. Add tomato paste here and mix everything well.
  • Salt and add seasonings, knead again and set aside for a while.

Making creamy sauce for lasagna

  • Heat the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Slowly add flour, stirring constantly to form flour crumbs.

  • Chicken meat – 0.9 kg;
  • Lavash – 1-2 packs;
  • Mushrooms – 0.4 kg;
  • Tomatoes – 0.5 kg;
  • Mozzarella cheese – 350 g;
  • Onion – 1 pc.;
  • Provençal herbs – 1-2 tsp;
  • Sunflower oil - for frying;
  • Salt and pepper - to taste;
  • Butter – 150 g;
  • Flour – 6 tbsp;
  • Milk 3.2% – 1 l.


How to bake lavash lasagna with mushrooms and chicken

  1. We prepare the fillet as usual: wash it, remove the cartilage, then chop it quite finely.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and chop them into slices.
  3. Pour oil into the frying pan, add the onion, and after frying for a few minutes, add the meat. Fry for another 5 minutes, add the mushrooms and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Salt, pepper, add spices. Once the mushrooms are ready, set them aside for a while.
  5. Heat the butter in a saucepan, carefully add the flour, then pour in the milk and make a homogeneous sauce, which we turn off as soon as it boils. Season with a little pepper and salt.
  6. Scald the tomatoes, remove the skin and the hard middle. Turn into a liquid mass using a blender or grater.
  7. Grease the bottom of the mold with creamy sauce, then place pita bread according to the size of the bottom.
  8. We lay out some meat and mushrooms, pour in creamy sauce and again add a layer of pita bread. Repeat until the filling is gone.
  9. Pour the tomato mass onto the top layer of pita bread, then put the lasagna in the oven for a third of an hour and bake at 180 degrees.
  10. Remove, add cheese and cook for another 15-20 minutes.
