Crafts from plastic bottles with your own hands. What can be done from plastic bottles with your own hands for a summer cottage, a garden and a vegetable garden The most useful homemade products from plastic bottles

Hand made - popular in any form, whether it is a gift to friends or joint creativity with a child. Bottles of water, soda, milk, and juices are a great base for making crafts. The material is easy to process, durable, not afraid of precipitation, which is why folk craftsmen and eminent designers love it so much.

It is easy to be convinced of this by looking at the photo of crafts from plastic bottles. The ideas realized on them are easy to repeat yourself, or they will become the starting point for creating new masterpieces in the interior or garden.

What to cook for work

An important plus of hand-made objects is that any material available on the farm is used for crafts. Plastic containers for drinks are a universal "raw material".

The following are used:

  • whole bottles of any size, including cans;
  • separate necks or curly bottoms:
  • main smooth part;
  • cover.

The advantage of the material is the ease of processing. Blanks can be:

  • pierce with a knife, awl, clamp needle
  • heat so that the plastic takes the desired shape and hardens
  • cut with scissors, clerical knife

For decoration, depending on the idea, you will need paints, leftover threads, scraps of fabric, natural material (cones, twigs), artificial flowers, leaves. There is a use for old children's toys, broken garden tools, ribbons, foam rubber, wrapping paper.

It is easy to find schemes for crafts from plastic bottles on the Internet, but if you lay out the existing bottles and various junk material in front of you, ideas will arise by themselves.

Big possibilities of a small bottle

No complicated tools or special skills required. But as a result, you can get:

  • real beasts and fictional animals;
  • organizers for storing small items, stationery, garden supplies;
  • figurines of people, animated characters, fairy-tale heroes;
  • flowers and various floristic compositions;
  • pots and flowerpots for indoor and outdoor plants;
  • bird feeders;
  • decor details for interior or landscape design.

Original bottle craft ideas do not necessarily involve cutting the container. As a result of simple manipulations with loosened soil and multi-colored paint, you can build:

  • a low curly hedge or frame for flower beds,
  • flat silhouette of a flower, insect, animal;
  • smiley.

In this case, the bottles are simply sunk into the ground to the desired depth, and the protruding parts are tinted in the selected color.

A beautiful garden without much hassle

It will not be difficult to buy a garden figurine of any subject in the store. The same goes for flowerpots, decor for a recreation area or a flower garden. But similar do-it-yourself things look no less impressive. Crafts from plastic bottles for the garden and vegetable garden can be done in winter, so that at the beginning of the season they can be installed in places of honor in the country.

Artificial reservoir

Bottles with a volume of 1.5 liters are colored blue for 1/3 of the length, starting from the bottom. Then they are pressed into the loose earth close to each other. You don't need to create perfectly straight lines. Let the artificial lake have an irregular shape.

Along the edges it can be overlaid with large stones, and figures of waterfowl or water lilies can be set “on the water”. Plants, by the way, can also be made from plastic containers.

Locomotive

The shape of the 5-liter drinking water cans resembles train carriages. You will need whole bottles with a neck and soft plastic lids for homemade preparations. In the caps and sides of the bottles, two protocols are made from the bottom of the canister. The holes are located closer to the beginning and end of the workpiece on both sides. Then, with the help of flexible wire, the "wheels" are attached to the locomotive and the wagons. Now the composition can be painted.

The neck of a soda bottle is like a pipe, it can be inserted into a hole on the nose of a "locomotive". If you cut rectangular holes on top of the carriages along the perimeter of the bottle, fill it with soil, then the train turns into pots for climbing and low plants.

Hares, pigs, and elephants

Cut off the top of a large round canister - and you get the body of an animal on which even an inept artist will depict the face and legs. From another bottle, you can cut out long and thin ears, insert them into the slots closer to the edge of the bottle. You will get a recognizable bunny.

Ears are rounded and small in size - for a bear cub, huge and wide ears - are suitable for an elephant. If you place the canister horizontally, leaving the spout with a lid, then small sharp ears and pink color will help turn the bottle into a perky pig. A crochet tail is obtained from a small bottle cut in a circle.

Excellent crafts are created from plastic containers cut to the desired height. If you make holes on the sides and insert a wire or twine as a handle, you get a convenient basket for picking berries.

It can be painted, pasted over (tied) with colored ribbons or twine, artificial flowers can be added. You can decorate the cupboard with an old lace napkin or create a coffee bean pattern.

1000 ideas for 1000 things

A detailed description of bottle crafts for novice designers can be continued with such necessary organizers in any home.

Proponents of minimalism will appreciate the prefabricated composition of cut-necked bottles of various heights and volumes. They can be fastened together with a wire, stretching it in the puncture points and twisted tightly into a flagellum inside the containers. Multi-colored caps, beads, fabric or self-adhesive paper appliqués will help to close the attachment points.

Hanging organizers are indispensable in the bathroom, home workshop, garage, in the corner of the needlewoman. You can make a rigid attachment by cutting a hook or loop from part of the bottle so that they are one piece. Or choose the option with a rope or wire fastening according to the principle of a bow at a bucket.

Curly baskets. Soft plastic is easy to arrange in the form of a basket. Then it can store, for example, cosmetics. It is appropriate to make a box for spices in the kitchen, and if thick foam rubber is laid on the bottom of the box, then rings and stud earrings will look original in it. The edges of such baskets can be wavy, smooth, jagged.

Another filling idea is a floral sponge. You can fix artificial buds in it or create a composition of fresh flowers.

And can apple trees bloom on Mars?

A master class on crafts from plastic bottles will be incomplete if you bypass the plants created from them. An exotic palm tree can easily grow in a house or garden, even if you live in central Russia.

For flower arrangements, you can do:

Inflorescences from curly bottoms. It is enough to paint them with bright colors and install them on a rigid "stem" of wire. Leaves can be made from green bottles.

Exotic buds. From the soft plastic center, you need to cut four-pointed holly blanks of different sizes. They can be combined in pairs, combining parts of different shades, but from the same color scheme. Each detail needs to be slightly displaced relative to each other, to create volume by bending the petals to the center or to the bottom of the bud.

Composite flowers. Round petals are prepared in advance and melted slightly over a candle flame. Through the holes made at the bottom of the petals, a bud is assembled on a flexible wire.

Fairy lights. The easiest way to collect them is from multi-colored bottoms from bottles with a volume of 0.5 to 1.5 liters. You can string the buds horizontally or create vertically flowering vines. They can block the entrance to the gazebo or hang from the trees in the garden.

Leaves are cut small and rounded, tall and thin like sedges, or with gentle curves like in nature. The last option is easily obtained from strips cut by a wave, slightly scorched over a candle fire.

Idea bonus

Before getting enthusiastically engaged in creativity, you can familiarize yourself with a small kaleidoscope of ideas available for implementation:

  • mosaic on the garden path or the wall of the gazebo made of plastic covers;
  • a corrugated pipe or hose from an old vacuum cleaner as the trunk of an elephant, the neck of birds, a giraffe, the legs of animals (a rigid wire frame is inserted inside to give the necessary bends);
  • bottoms of multi-colored bottles instead of mini-shades for garlands;
  • cans for rinses and other detergents to create bizarre figures, funny faces;
  • a bottle as a sprinkler (pierced with a thin needle and put on a garden hose) or an automatic watering container.

It's not hard to make sure that a plastic bottle is an inexhaustible source of ideas for creating useful little things. For additional instructions on how to make a DIY craft, see our video.

Create, please others and enjoy the process of creation yourself. Remember that giving bottles and cans a second life makes the world cleaner and brighter!

Photo of crafts from plastic bottles

Hello dear gardeners! The topic of today's material is interesting to everyone and is always relevant. She is probably familiar to many, but still I hope to surprise you.

Today everything is sold in plastic bottles: water, soft drinks, milk ... Of all the garbage that we collect, the most voluminous bottles are: you put one in the trash bin - and that's it: count half a bucket busy. And what is it like in the country! In many suburban villages, there are simply no garbage containers. There is only one way out: either take all this "good" to the city, to the nearest container, or somehow use something that cannot be recycled in summer cottages.

Logical question: how plastic bottles can be used on the farm, so that it is useful, convenient, and beautiful? Let's talk about this.

By the way, information sheet: plastic decomposes in water from 100 to 500 years(according to various sources and depending on the type of plastic).

We have few factories that recycle waste, so people themselves find interesting applications for simple and seemingly completely unnecessary things.

Plastic bottles in garden decor

If you wish, you can create such beauty - the neighbors will be envious! Do you want to decorate your garden at a low cost? See if your dacha has empty plastic bottles.

Beautiful neat flower beds

Plastic bottles can be used to protect flower beds. The benefits here are obvious: flower beds and beds are not washed out by downpours, they always look neat and pleasing to the eye. In my opinion, it looks great ... How to make such a flower bed?

Of course, you will need a lot of bottles (preferably the same size). We fill them with sand, close them and begin to build a "palisade". The bottles will have to be dug into the ground a little to give them stability. After the flowerbed is fenced, paint the resulting border in any color. In principle, you can do this in advance - as you wish. But it seems to me that it is more convenient to paint a ready-made fence than each bottle separately. And containers made of dark plastic can be left as they are, it also looks pretty. For an example of execution and opinions of summer residents on this method of using bottles, see the materials:

Flowers, palms, butterflies and other "tropics"

The beauty is indescribable. Turn on your imagination, wake up your imagination and create all kinds of flowers in your garden that will never fade or rot)).

To make it clearer how to make something out of bottles (for example, flowers), let's look at an example.

What you may need:

  • plastic bottles of different colors;
  • scissors, awl, thick threads;
  • PVA glue and "Master";
  • acrylic paints;
  • candle;
  • wire;
  • beads, beads - for decoration.
With the rest, everything is more or less clear, but why a candle? It's simple. We cut off the necks of the bottles. We cut each neck not to the end lengthwise, make 6 petals. Give the petals a rounded shape. We light a candle and scorch each petal to melt a little. First, along the edges, so that they are beautiful and even, and then at the base of the petals, bending them at the same time, giving shape. Plastic forms well when heated.

The stem is best made of thick wire. The stamens are made of thin wire on which you can string beads. It remains only to collect the whole thing, fastening with glue, if necessary using an awl and wire. Just look what beauty the result is!

Cute animals for the garden

From bottles they just do not make. The simplest thing is perhaps this. All you need is to cut and bend the ears, attach a tail and paint beautifully. However, there are crafts and very complicated ones. For example, animals from fairy tales. I will not describe their production step by step, otherwise the article will turn out to be of galactic proportions. I'd rather just show the video from the slides. From the photo, in principle, you can see what and how to do, it's not difficult to figure it out.

How do you like these animals? Looks great in my opinion! And if you involve children in the process, they will be delighted!

The tools used are the same as those listed above. Paints are not necessarily acrylic. But they dry faster, this is a plus. And they hardly smell. True, they are also different.

Air curtains for garden

These crafts captivated me precisely with their airiness and singularity. I specially collect bottles and make such a curtain in my yard! I think you can use bottles of different sizes.

Mostly the bottoms will come in handy, but you can also cut the leaves! From a distance it is not very clear what these transparent flowers are hanging on, but the more interesting the idea. We look ...

As you can see, you can fasten the flowers with threads, you can glue them to the base (for example, plastic wrap). I think this option is perfect for a gazebo. And it will be light, and the rain will not penetrate. There are a lot of options for curtains from bottles. But I still liked the first one better, didn't you?

Lamps and chandeliers for the garden

Actually, why not? Buying a lamp in the garden is not profitable, just hanging a light bulb is ugly. A lamp made of plastic bottles is an excellent option for illuminating a garden area.

It's not a shame to hang such chandeliers in the house.

The main rule: Do not allow plastic parts to come into contact with the light bulb, otherwise they may melt. True, you can use an energy-saving lamp, it heats up less - up to +50 ... + 60 ° C.

Girls! If you don't know how to attach the light bulb itself, leave this matter to your husbands, brothers or fathers ... From you - the creative, from them - the lighting element =)))

Garden path from bottles

I recently wrote about garden paths in an article. But there was nothing about bottles, only about their caps. It turns out that from the bottoms, a good path is obtained, along which it is pleasant to walk barefoot. note: the bottoms are laid on loose sand, the master must make an effort so that they are filled with sand. This will exclude their deformation in the future when you walk on them.

Household supplies from plastic bottles

This is where the expanse is ... If you think that garden decor from bottles is not for you, perhaps you will be interested in useful things that can be made of them.

Washbasins and boxes

The easiest option is to hang the bottle upside down, and when you need to wash your hands, just unscrew the cap a little. It is better to cut the bottom of the bottle and make it removable, so that it is more convenient to pour water. There is nothing difficult here, and a child can handle it. Such a washbasin can be hung on a tree or somewhere else. By the way, use this idea when you go to a picnic - it's very convenient, and your hands are always clean.

It is advisable to make a self-made sink closeable so that leaves, insects and other debris do not get into the water. There are also more complex designs. You can, for example, cut a hose with a tap into a large bottle. But this is so that it is quite convenient.
And you can make a box from a bottle for bags, napkins or something like that.

Scoops and scapula

Making a scoop with your own hands is as easy as shelling pears. Take a bottle and mark with a marker the shape of the future scoop. The rest is a matter of scissors. Well, or a knife.

Slippers

This is the kind of shoe that wears out pretty quickly. Therefore, durable and beautiful slippers will always come in handy on the farm. No-no, don't think that bottled slippers are just scoops with heels =))). I would like to see it ... Although there are also simple options. For example, this one:

A more complex option looks like this:

Of course, it is not necessary to make such bouquets. In general, the slippers are excellent. To avoid slipping, and the leg feels comfortable, you can experiment with "layers". How to make holes? Yes, even with a hole punch! And if there are men in the house, let them solve this problem.

And also very useful large containers for household needs can be made from plastic bottles:

Devices for repelling rodents and insects

There are many different kinds of them. I will only talk about mole repeller and mosquito trap.

Let's start with a trap
It is very easy to make it. Cut off the upper part of the bottle and insert into the lower part with the neck down. The design must be darkened with paper or cloth - mosquitoes will more readily fly in there.

Pour into the bottom of the bottle as bait sugar yeast syrup... It is simple to make it: pour hot water, add sugar and yeast there, stir and cool. Such a trap will attract not only mosquitoes, but also bees, wasps, flies.

You can put the structure on the window or hang it up - this is optional. You need to clean it once a week.

By the way, I don't know why the syrup is brown in the photo - maybe made from cane sugar?))) Or maybe it's kvass. By the way, yes - insects also fly to kvass. Once they left a jar of kvass on the porch, so so many midges flocked there!

A wind vane that scares away moles and more
These devices were described in detail in the article. There is also a video - you can see how to make such a structure, how it works. Ask, what does he scare with? It is advised to pour beads, balls from bearings and other "rattling" elements on the bottom of the bottle. They say that the sound that this windmill makes is not tolerated by moles. Who has moles? Try it, then unsubscribe here, okay?
Yes, the axle on which the craft is attached must be stuck in the ground - I think you get the idea.

About the fact that some with the help of bottles, I think you already know. The bottom and throat of the bottle are cut off - a cylinder is obtained, which is then dug into the ground. Such a cover protects the root system of a young plant from attacks by a bear.

Tool boxes

For these purposes, rectangular bottles are more suitable. For example, from under engine oils. However, there are also bottles for water of this shape. Containers are made simply: mark with a marker, cut. Everything =))

These boxes can be very useful on the farm.

Device for deep watering of plants and their night heating

Some plants do not like shallow watering. Therefore, my mother waters some of the beds using plastic bottles.

The bottom of the bottle needs to be cut off, but not completely, to get something like a cap. We tear the earth on the side of the plant, make a small trench and put pebbles there. Drainage is needed so that water does not erode the soil. Then we put the bottles with their necks down and roll them with the earth. Now, in order to water the plant, all you need is to open the lid and pour the required amount of water. Here, see how our summer residents use plastic containers.

Some people put the containers in with the neck up, but then you need to make holes in the bottle so that the water goes away.

As for heating plants, you can simply pour water into bottles and overlay the plant with them. In the sun, the water heats up and will give off heat to the earth for some time. I know that glass bottles are also dug into the ground, but today we are talking about plastic.

Garden work knee pads

Many people are generally contraindicated to work bent over, this is especially true for hypertensive patients. But how, then, weed the garden? Yes, I'll tell you about the knee pads. If you work on your knees, your head will no longer be down, therefore, your well-being will not suffer.

All you need to do is find the right bottles, try them on to your knees, and cut the knee pads into the shape you want. Then attach the ties. It's simple.

Flower pots

And what kind of pots made of plastic bottles do not exist! Some just pour earth into bottles, others make real masterpieces. The possibilities are endless. What's good: bottles can always be painted in any color and hung anywhere. For example, how do you like these ideas?

Very cute, and you won't immediately guess what the pots are made of.

Candlestick

I made my first candlestick from a plastic bottle back in elementary school, at a labor lesson. It's simple. Cut off the neck and bottom of the bottle (about half of the bottle). Then cut the part with the bottom into strips and bend them. And inside you insert the part with the neck. She will hold the candle. In general, it's as easy as shelling pears.

But this is only one of the options, you can also connect two necks.

Broom

Instead of a thousand words, I'll show you one video.

Why buy a broom when it can be done in half an hour?

Funnels

The farm periodically needs to pour something from one container to another. Not necessarily something edible - it happens, and diluted fertilizer, and poison for Colorado beetles ... Do not use a funnel from the kitchen for such purposes! And a funnel can be made from a bottle at any time.

Bird feeders

We fed the birds in these all winter. The bottles used were large, 5 liter. I cut out windows in them, made small "thresholds" and "porches". So that the birds could sit comfortably, and the snow did not drift inside. Another plus - it is convenient to hang such feeders on trees, they already have handles.

Constructions from plastic bottles

These are not funnels with pots, but something more serious. Enterprising people from anything can build something for themselves. For example, plastic bottles make excellent greenhouses and gazebos.

Plastic bottle greenhouses

A ready-made medium-sized greenhouse costs more than 15 thousand rubles. I know for sure, because I was interested in this issue. Add to that the cost of assembly. Not everyone can figure out what's what. But there is an alternative that is not inferior in performance and will cost you ... just 500-700 empty plastic bottles! =))

The plastic from which bottles are made is 20 times stronger than dense polyethylene. It keeps the temperature very well, does not melt in the sun and can last for decades. At a greenhouse made of plastic bottles there are a number of advantages:

  • it is cheap;
  • durable;
  • easily repaired;
  • light in weight, it can be rearranged if necessary;
  • looks pretty cute.

I walked around different sites and realized that there are 2 main ways to use plastic bottles in construction:

  1. The bottom of each bottle is cut off. A thin rail is taken and all the bottles are strung on it. You will get ready-made building planks.
  2. The bottoms and throats are cut off from the bottles. Then what happened - the middle part - is cut lengthwise. It turns out a rectangular piece of plastic. We iron it with an iron (always through hard paper) to level it. We sew larger sheets from such sheets. An overlap is desirable. You can use an awl; for fastening parts - cord thread or wire. It is not recommended to sew with thread or fishing line - the seams will quickly rot and disperse.

When the sheets (strips) are ready, you can make a frame. It is made from ordinary wooden blocks with a hammer and nails. Any form. You can - a house, you can - a triangle. And then we attach what we made from bottles to the frame. In the first case, the planks must be set as close to each other as possible so that the wind does not walk. Well, you can always glue it with scotch tape. In general, you will figure it out!)) And in the second case, ready-made plates from plastic bottles are simply nailed to a wooden frame.

An important point is the roof. In general, a good frame is able to withstand a rather heavy weight, but knowledgeable people advise covering the roof not with bottles, but with polycarbonate sheets. Or to strengthen something for the winter - suddenly a lot of snow piles up. Here's another interesting post

The trend of rational use of household waste has recently become more and more popular, especially with regard to plastic containers. You can make almost the entire country interior and not only from plastic bottles with your own hands. One of the main advantages of such a material is its long service life, moreover, it is very elastic. Do not forget that plastic bottles are an affordable material that every owner or hostess always has in stock.

Having shown ingenuity and a little imagination, you can not only make the necessary and useful things that will decorate the site, but also free it from unnecessary trash without harming nature. After all, it is known that plastic decomposes for a very long time, and when burned, it releases hazardous substances. Therefore, it is better not to throw bottles into a fire or take them to a landfill - they can still serve in the form of a variety of crafts, some of which are presented in the article.

Cheap and cheerful - we make flower beds from bottles

Plastic containers are ideal for flower beds, as they have a great advantage over wood and even metal. Wooden fencing in flower beds or flower beds dries up or decays over time under the influence of moisture and sun. Even metal curbs are prone to corrosion and require periodic maintenance, such as regular painting.

What about plastic? For a long time, it does not lose its shape and does not collapse. This means that such a flower bed will last for more than one season and even more than one year, moreover, it does not require maintenance at all. Even if a "breakdown" occurs, the desired "element" can always be found in the pantry and can be easily replaced without resorting to long tedious shopping trips in order to find a suitable fragment.

So, what can you do from plastic bottles with your own hands?

Bottle borders

If it is necessary to protect the flower garden, plastic containers of different sizes will do an excellent job with this. Such a border will not only limit the space and prevent the growth of perennial plants, but it will also retain moisture and prevent weeds from appearing.

The shape and size of the flower bed depends only on the fantasy of the summer resident: it can be either equilateral or in the form of some kind of animal or plant. You can also break the flower bed into segments with bottles.

Even a child can build a bottle curb (with the help of adults, of course):

  1. First of all, on the site, you should draw with a sharp object or pour sand on the contours of the flower bed.
  2. Free the bottles from the labels, wash, pour sand into them and screw the lid back on. If this is not available, you can use ordinary earth or water. This is necessary for stability, since empty containers will quickly fall out of the fence.
  3. Dig a groove along the marked contour so that the bottle can be deepened into it by about 1/3.
  4. Place the filled bottles in the groove with the neck down, as close to each other as possible, and cover with earth.

For a visual effect, you can use bottles of different colors of plastic (green, white, brown).

Some summer residents do without dropping bottles. For example, bottles without bottoms are simply inserted into each other, forming a circle. The finished structure can be “put on” on a shrub or a tree trunk circle can be taken into a ring. To secure the curb, it must be pressed tightly to the ground with arcs.

Multi-tiered flower bed

If you really want to have a flower garden, and there is too little space, you can make a multi-tiered flower bed from plastic bottles with your own hands. The principle is the same as in the construction of the curb, only after laying the first tier, it is necessary to fill it with nutritious soil, and only then lay out the next floor.

When planting plants for the lower tier, it is better to pick up moisture-loving specimens, since when watering, the water will flow down.

Mini-flower beds

Beautiful and useful crafts for a summer residence can be made from 5-liter plastic bottles. They will serve as miniature and cute little beds, for example, in the shape of everyone's favorite pigs.

Group compositions in the form of trains with flowers look no less impressive.

And if you sow lawn grass instead of flowers, a large bottle turns into a cute hedgehog with green thorns. It remains only to attach the eyes and nose.

Those who are not afraid of small rodents will love cute mice from small (liter) bottles. It is good to plant petunias in them.

Flower pots and planters

With a little imagination, plastic bottles can be easily transformed into small decorative pots for flowers or spicy herbs. You can make them even or cut them for a face-shaped marker. Such vases will look great not only in the garden gazebo, but also in the house on the windowsill.

But if you put a cover made of fabric on the cut bottle and attach the ropes, you get graceful pots for a summer veranda.

The easiest way to make hanging pots is to cut out wall fragments from both sides of the bottle, and fasten a tourniquet under the neck for hanging. Compact low-growing plants can be planted in such flowerpots.

Making a beautiful garden path

Especially popular with summer residents are paths made of plastic containers. The strength of such a path depends on the method of installation and which part of the plastic container serves as a building material:

Plastic bottle tracks become very slippery in winter.

Fun playground - decorating a place for children's games

Caring parents always strive to give their children a place for games in the country, where children can pass the time while adults are busy in the garden. Of course, it should be not only safe, but also colorful so that the little ones will like it. With the help of plastic bottles, it is easy to decorate a playground by making a variety of plants and animals. Ordinary paint will help to give them brightness.

In the shade under the palm tree

What is a playground without a sandbox? And where there is sand, a palm tree must "grow". For the Tropicana, you will need green and brown bottles for the trunk and leaves, respectively.

Before proceeding with the assembly, you need to take care of a solid base. For example, fix a metal pin in a concrete screed, and it should be quite long so that the tree turns out to be tall, and children can freely walk under it.

When the base is fixed, you can start "growing" the palm:

  • cut off half of the bottle (the top with a neck is not needed) and form a jagged edge;
  • make a hole in the center of the bottom, string the blanks onto the base pin, while bending the cloves to the side for a more natural look;
  • cut off the bottom of the green bottle and make straight cuts along the entire contour to the point where the wall passes into the neck (if you wish, the branches can be made curly - cut into 4 parts and each have cloves);
  • string fragments of a branch onto the base;
  • firmly attach the finished branches to the top of the stem (by welding or construction harnesses).

If there are still many green bottles left after assembling the palm tree, you can make a small (or large) Christmas tree from them. Remove the bottom of the bottle and cut it into long narrow strips up to the very neck. Cut the edges of the stripes curly to resemble thorns. String the leaves onto the base.

Such a Christmas tree will look great on the playground in winter, especially under the snow, and will also help out on New Year's Eve those who, in a hurry, did not have time to buy a live tree.

Guests from a fairy tale - funny animals

And of course, there must be toys on the playground. Children often take their old favorites out into the street. With the help of plastic bottles, you can easily diversify the "zoo", creating real masterpieces - from the fabulous Frog Princess and the Goldfish to modern cartoon characters.

Take, for example, a handsome cat painted with black and white paint. Or you can use brown beer bottles, and you get a brown cat, also beautiful.

Form a head from two bottoms of the bottle (connect them), while the bends on the bottoms will really look like a real head. On one of them, paint eyes, eyebrows and a mustache with white paint, and a neat tongue with red. Insert the cut out small ears on top. For the body, string the same short-cut bottoms onto the base, the last to close the body. Fuse the edges of the bottoms. Walk with white paint along the melted contour of the ears and fragments of the body, and make a white speck on the breast on the front bottom.

Glue the head and legs - the upper parts of the bottles with an elongated neck will come in handy for them. Cut them off to the point where the bottle expands, cut the edges with sharp teeth and build legs from 4-5 parts, putting them on the base wire. Tighten the plugs on the upper necks, glue the legs to the body with them. For the tail, take a long wire and string the narrowest parts of the neck onto it, but without plugs. To make the tail fluffy, cut the edges into thin strips.

Beautiful animals from plastic bottles are also obtained from large 5-liter containers. With the right combination of bottles of different sizes and with the help of bright colors, a zebra, a horse, a cow, a donkey and even a giraffe can be placed on the site.

Flowers for my daughter

In the sandbox, children do not only make Easter cakes. Little girls are very fond of flowers and often pick dandelions on the lawn (or mother's roses in the flowerbed) to plant in their sandy garden. But you can make a whole greenhouse of flowers from bottles, while the girls will gladly take part in the manufacture of the simplest options. Chamomiles, cornflowers and tulips will decorate the sandbox, especially since young flower growers will be able to repeatedly "transplant" them from one garden bed to another without harming the plants and mother's nerves.

For flowers you will need:

  • stem wire;
  • even parts of bottles for cutting leaves from them;
  • necks or bottoms for the very inflorescences;
  • dye.

More complex options can be made by adults. Plastic roses or poppies will decorate not only the playground, but also flower beds.

Plastic design for garden

Crafts for giving from plastic bottles have a wide range of applications. So, if small animals and birds look appropriate in flower beds and playgrounds, then larger animals can be placed in the garden, among trees and bushes. They will give the garden a unique look and revitalize it.

Amazing garden sculptures

Representatives of large birds made of plastic look almost alive. With the help of multi-colored paints, you can achieve a stunning realistic effect. To make them, you just need to master the technique of cutting feathers from the sides of the bottles and prepare a frame on which they will be fixed.

They will look very impressive in the garden:

In the garden, you can settle sculptures not only of birds, but also of animals large enough so that they are not lost against the background of tall trees.

Among the greenery, a bright spot will be a white lamb, which is quite easy to make if bottles of 2 liters and a few 1.5 liters are lying around in the pantry:

  1. Cut off the neck of two 2L bottles and put them on top of each other - this will be an elongated head. Cut out long ears from the third bottle, roll them up a little with a tube and attach to the head in the appropriate places with wire (or glue). Eyes can be drawn or two plugs can be glued.
  2. For the torso, insert a whole bottle into the bottle cut from the top with the neck inward. Make 3 more such blanks and attach them to the first one on the sides and on top, thus giving the lamb the required "waist" volume.
  3. The neck will be a whole two-liter bottle, which should be fixed on the body at an angle of about 120 degrees so that the cork is on top.
  4. Set the head to the neck (on the cork).
  5. For the legs, cut off the top of a two-liter bottle and insert a whole smaller bottle (1.5 liters) into it. Make three more such blanks and attach the legs to the body with the wide part up.
  6. From the cut-off bottoms of two-liter bottles, make a fleece, fastening them together, and put on the body. Tie the edges of the fur coat under the belly.
  7. Paint the lamb with white paint and draw black eyes.

Bird care

Plastic bottles can be used not only for decorative purposes, but also for the benefit of the garden. After all, little helpers of the summer resident always live in it - a variety of birds that collect pests from trees. In the warm summer, they have something to feast on, but in winter it becomes more difficult to get food. Then the feeders hung around the garden will come in handy. And if you involve children in the process, you get a double benefit: for children - an interesting activity and pleasure, and for the birds - a cozy house with seeds.

The simplest feeders can be made from large 5 liter plastic bottles by simply cutting large arched holes on both sides.

To prevent the birds from cutting their paws on the sharp edges of the bottle, they must first be melted or pasted over with electrical tape.

For those who rarely visit their summer cottage in winter, a feeder that fills up automatically will come in handy.

You can make it from a bottle and two wooden spoons:

  • make two holes in the bottle opposite each other, while the second should be located slightly lower;
  • unfold the bottle and repeat the procedure on the back side;
  • insert into the holes of the spoon crosswise.

After the bottle is filled with food, it will be poured through the holes into the spoons as they are emptied.

A cozy place to relax from improvised means

Not only birds, but also the owners themselves should have their own secluded corner among the greenery, where on warm summer evenings you can enjoy a cup of tea, breathing in the aromas of nature. Many people prefer to put wooden gazebos in the garden. They are very beautiful, you can't argue with that, but they require certain financial investments. But from plastic it is cheap and cheerful to make not only a recreation area, but also to completely equip it.

Alcove? Easy!

The gazebo is one of the largest-scale plastic bottle craft projects. But the plastic gazebo has two big advantages:

  • it is easy to assemble;
  • will last more than one year without damaging the material.

Perhaps the only drawback of the building is the presence of a large number of bottles, which must be stored somewhere during the collection process.

How the gazebo will look like depends only on the owner's desire, and, accordingly, on the availability of "building material":

Practical curtains for the gazebo

There is a lot of fresh air in the summer gazebos, but, unfortunately, also dust. Plain tulle requires frequent washings, while a plastic curtain does not collect so much dust, and you can “wash” it without even removing it - just douse it with water from a hose (of course, if such a curtain is not hanging in the house).

For dreamy and romantic hostesses, gentle curtains from the bottoms of plastic bottles strung on a base are suitable.

For energetic people who like bright colors, cork curtains assembled according to the same principle are more suitable.

garden furniture

A table, an ottoman, an armchair and even a sofa in a gazebo can also be made from plastic bottles. Old furniture from the house is also fine for outdoor recreation, but like curtains, over time it will become a bunch of dust. In addition, it is quite difficult to take a wooden sofa out into the street, because such furniture is rather bulky and heavy. But rearranging the plastic chair is not difficult.

It is not difficult to assemble furniture - you just need to put the bottles tightly and join together with adhesive tape, giving the desired shape. To knit or sew a cape for ottomans - no one from the outside will guess what they are actually made of.

Leatherette covers are more suitable for a sofa.

Unbreakable garden chandeliers

If you are planning an evening tea party, lighting must be carried out into the gazebo. To refine the light bulb, you can cut the bottle into two parts and make a simple shade from the upper half and paint it or paste over it with colored thread.

It is better to use economical light bulbs in plastic chandeliers - they do not heat up so much and will not melt the material.

In more sophisticated versions, chandeliers are assembled from fragments of leaves or flowers cut from colorful bottles.

Garden supplies for gardening

To make the summer cottage look beautiful and tidy, you need to look after it all the time - weed weeds, collect fallen leaves and small debris. This will require tools. Of course, making a hoe or a rake out of plastic will not work, but simpler specimens are quite possible.

Craftsmen have long known how to use plastic bottles for the benefit of themselves and with savings for the family budget. After all, if the scoop suddenly broke, you no longer need to run to the store for a new one. From household waste that is in every home, a lot of useful things are obtained at no extra cost:

Garden worries

Plastic bottles can be used to make useful things not only for the garden, but also for the vegetable garden. These can be both small crafts in the form of scarers, and larger-scale structures such as greenhouses.

Greenhouses for seedlings

Most summer residents grow seedlings of garden crops on their own. Some do it in apartment conditions, however, better quality seedlings are obtained from greenhouses - there is both heat and light enough.

You don't need to talk about the cost, but as for the strength, greenhouses made of plastic bottles will certainly stand longer than film shelters or glass structures.

To increase the service life of a greenhouse made of plastic bottles, it is advisable to put it on the foundation, and use a metal profile for the frame.

The simplest version of the greenhouse involves the construction of walls from whole bottles, which are put on top of each other.

You will have to tinker with the greenhouse made of plates a little longer, but it will turn out to be warmer. In this case, even parts must be cut out of the bottles and fastened (sewn) together in the form of a canvas. Mount the greenhouse from the finished canvases.

Watering "systems"

For gardeners, watering is no less an urgent issue than the presence of a greenhouse. Instead of ready-made watering systems in the garden, you can use plastic bottles. They must either be hung over the bush, having previously made holes in the lower part, or dug into the ground.

It also makes a good sprinkler from the bottle - you just need to make small holes in it and connect it to the watering hose.

Getting rid of pests

A scarer from a plastic bottle will help drive out the worst enemy of the summer resident - a mole from the site. He not only plows the beds, digging his tunnels, but also damages the root system of plants in the course of action, depriving gardeners of the future harvest.

If you cut the side walls in the bottle, bend them and put the container on a steel bar, the bottle will twirl and make noise when the wind blows. The sound through the rod will go into the ground and deprive the mole of the desire to manage in this noisy place.

The list of what you can do from a plastic bottle with your own hands is quite long. These are just a few of the crafts that make life easier for summer residents. Agree - it's better to get the most out of bottles than to pollute the environment. Protect nature and work with pleasure!

Crafts from plastic bottles with your own hands for a summer residence and a vegetable garden - a master class on how to do with a step-by-step photo

The extraordinary qualities of homemade plastic bottles

Plastic bottles are extremely popular with garden craft enthusiasts. The explanation is simple: on the one hand, the material is readily available, on the other hand, it is not difficult to work with it. No wonder there are a huge number of women among the admirers of the "genre".

Note that plastic containers take an extremely long time to decompose like garbage, but they endlessly serve in the rain and sun in the yard. It's nice to compose something funny and useful from what was supposed to be thrown away. The presence of numerous interesting examples further provokes creative and inventive souls to create something better and different.

Plastic bottles have many colors, crafts from them can be painted and enriched with a variety of decorative elements, which is most often also an improvised material. The use of both small and large empty bottles from 0.5 to 5 liters allows you to create a variety of combinations of shapes. The author of the text sets himself the task of offering you the most interesting examples and acquainting you with the methods of working with your own hands with plastic bottles using the example of several descriptions. Thus, you can both choose interesting and beautiful homemade products for repetition, and learn how to implement your own ideas.

Bright crafts and decorations from bottles in the yard

Such poppies always bloom, and for this they will not be fined.

The most striking decoration in the yard is flowers. From plastic containers, they turn out remarkably and a considerable number of examples have already been invented. A separate article has been prepared for you about how we decorate the site with flowers. Do you want to build a tree from bottles with your own hands? It is possible! We suggest that you familiarize yourself with a master class on how to make a plastic palm tree. If you need to paint a plastic homemade product from an unnecessary container, read our material on this topic.

In winter and summer in one color

Probably the easiest plastic bottle crafts to make are mushrooms. Do-it-yourself mushrooms are extremely simple and very similar to real ones. The cap of the mushroom is the bottom of the bottle, the stem is the top of the container. They should be colored as you see fit. It is most convenient to fasten both parts with a self-tapping screw.

To get the characteristic protrusions on the leg of the fly agaric, you can use two necks of bottles to make it. Weed can be created from the side of a green container.

In this lake, the water never freezes, and swans always live

The blue lake in the yard is most realistic to arrange from plastic bottles. Its surface, even in the absence of wind, is covered with characteristic ripples. Making such a pond is as easy as shelling pears. You need to paint at least 100 bottles of blue paint from the inside, and then bury it with the neck down in the ground. Flowers and swans made from the same material according to the recommendations of our articles are suitable for pond decoration.

Funny figurines of animals and people for the garden from plastic containers

We all gladly decorate our garden with crafts of animals, gnomes and people. A considerable number of very different figures for the site have already been invented. Interestingly, even when copied, each creative invention has features introduced by the author. Nothing prevents you from leaving "your own mark in history" by inventing an original gnome.

All sorts of different animals in the yard and garden

Here are several options for turtle designs. All of them are made from the bottom of the bottle, which resembles the shell of an amphibian. Using paints and other decorative elements, you can create a turtle with its own face.

The caterpillar in the garden and vegetable garden is quite appropriate. In this performance, it will not turn into a butterfly, but it will not be able to harm either. You can make an insect from the bottoms, lids and cases of plastic containers. The easiest way is to consistently collect the tops of the bright green bottles. There may be a wire inside that is bent on both sides of the figure.

Funny gnomes for the courtyard can be made from a variety of containers. Perhaps, one cannot do without the use of paints. Decor takes a special place in the performance of gnomes: let your imagination run wild and try to use whatever comes along. This is exactly the case when you can compose something unusual and your own.

The land with the help of horses in the country has not been plowed for a long time, but the presence of their figures is appropriate and desirable. The body of a horse is most often made from five-liter eggplants, and the legs, neck and muzzle are made from smaller containers. A horse is very similar to a donkey, so when making it you can use the instructions for assembling a donkey, which follows.

Pigs in the country from plastic bottles are a classic of the genre. Of course, a 5-liter container is best for making a well-fed pig. It is often used as a flowerpot. Pig assembly techniques are exactly the same as for a donkey. A description of this follows.

A bright spot on the site will be a figurine of a fox or bear, covered with orange paint. We have already realized that large five-liter bottles are well suited for both the already mentioned and other animal crafts. Here again, fantasy and scenery are required. Assembly is the same donkey making guide that follows.

We can say with complete confidence that it will turn out to be possible to build any animal from plastic bottles. Choose a sample to your liking and get creative!

Here are some more examples of the use of plastic containers for making animals. Frogs, hares, bears and rams - everything is like in a real forest.

Hunting trophy from a plastic container

If you are unable to hunt even with a camera, you can hang a hunting trophy from a plastic canister in your dacha house. In addition to a container for making a horned head, you will additionally need 30 pieces of multi-colored plugs, a piece of wire with a diameter of 3 mm and self-tapping screws.

Our articles on useful homemade products for your own yard from plastic bottles

You can familiarize yourself with how to make a sprinkler from a plastic bottle, or how to learn how to create your own paintings, curtains, furniture and other extraordinary things from plastic bottle corks in our articles. Here is a list of a few more articles about useful summer cottages:

Interesting examples of container creations for household purposes

As you can see, quite monumental structures can be built from plastic bottles. However, many of us, having appreciated the scale of the work and the large number of bottles, are ready to utter the words from the old anecdote: "I won't drink so much." What homemade products are good, you decide, and we offer a master class on making a prosaic broom from plastic bottles with your own hands.

Steps to guide the sequence of actions:

When collecting the craft, we set the task of using fewer bottles and getting a whisk of sufficient rigidity. However, it turned out not wide enough. To solve this problem, the entire length of the bottle should be used for preforms.

In this case, the container will be required twice as much. In this case, to ensure sufficient rigidity of the broom, it will have to be tied with twine, as in the photo.

Together with the broom, we made a scoop from a plastic container. To implement such an idea, it is better to use a thick plastic canister. Cut out the part in accordance with the image, put it on a wooden handle and get a scoop. The scoop does not dig the earth, but it is suitable for sand and cement and works with our broom!

It turns out that plastic bottles can be used to create adorable slippers. We have already described how to make flowers in a special article. The rest is clear.

Unfortunately, the slippers were needed urgently, and we resolved the issue much faster. Of course, it is impossible to run in such ones, but we managed to get from the shower to the house quite safely.
We give a few more examples of the use of bottles on the farm. The lightweight chair is assembled with tape. Laundry baskets are woven from tape obtained from bottle bodies. Waste bins and greenhouse are assembled on a wire frame.

Throughout the article, we have tried to tell you about the most successful examples of the use of plastic bottles in the household. The above descriptions allow you to master the techniques of working with containers. May you succeed in realizing these ideas and creating your own "plastic masterpieces".

21 ideas for using plastic bottles in the country. Crafts from plastic bottles

Hello dear gardeners! How are you doing? Is everything ready for the summer season? The topic today is interesting and relevant, probably familiar to many ... But, I hope, I will surprise you with something =)

Using plastic bottles in the country Today everything is sold in plastic bottles: water, soft drinks, milk ... Of all the garbage that we accumulate, the most disgusting are bottles: you put one in the trash bin - and that's it: count half a bucket busy. And what is it like in the country! In many suburban villages, there are simply no garbage containers. There is only one way out: either take all this "good" to the city, to the nearest container, or somehow use something that cannot be recycled in summer cottages.

A logical question: how can plastic bottles be used in the household, so that it is useful, convenient, and beautiful? Let's talk about this.

Ideas for using plastic bottles. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com

By the way, information note: plastic decomposes in water from 100 to 500 years (according to various sources and depending on the type of plastic).

We have few factories that recycle waste, and people themselves sometimes find interesting applications for simple and seemingly completely unnecessary things. If you wish, you can create such beauty - the neighbors will be envious! Do you want to decorate your garden at a low cost? See if your dacha has empty plastic bottles. Plastic bottles can be used to protect flower beds. The benefits here are obvious: flower beds and beds are not washed out by downpours, they always look neat and pleasing to the eye. In my opinion, it looks great ... How to make such a flower bed? Beautiful neat flower beds and beds. Photo from ru.pinterest.com Of course, you need a lot of bottles (preferably the same size). We fill them with sand, close them and begin to build a "palisade". The bottles will have to be dug into the ground a little to give them stability. After the flowerbed is fenced, paint the resulting border in any colors of the rainbow. In principle, you can do this in advance - as you wish. But it seems to me that it is more convenient to paint a ready-made fence than each bottle separately. And containers made of dark plastic can be left as they are, it also looks pretty. The beauty is indescribable. Turn on your imagination, wake up your imagination and create all kinds of flowers in your garden that will never fade or rot)).

Such a palm tree is not afraid of snow and frost To make it clearer how to make something out of bottles (for example, flowers), let's look at an example.

What you may need:

  • plastic bottles of different colors;
  • scissors, awl, thick threads;
  • PVA glue and "Master";
  • acrylic paints;
  • candle;
  • wire;

The seven-flowered flower is made from plastic bottles! The stem is best made of thick wire. The stamens are made of thin wire, onto which you can string beads. It remains only to collect the whole thing, fastening with glue, if necessary, using an awl and wire. Decorate the finished flower. Do you know what kind of beauty you get?

Flowers from plastic bottles. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com Palm trees, bells, butterflies and so on are also easy to make. For example, the trunk of a palm tree is easy to build from brown plastic bottles, cutting off the bottom of each and stringing the bottles one on top of the other. Imagine, and everything will work out! From bottles they just do not make. The simplest thing, perhaps, is the pigs. All you need is to cut and bend the "ears", attach a tail and paint beautifully. However, there are crafts and very complicated ones. For example, animals from fairy tales. I will not describe how to do them in stages, otherwise the article will turn out to be of galactic proportions. I'd rather just show the video from the slides. From the photo, in principle, you can see how to do it, it's not difficult to figure it out.

How do you like these animals? Looks great in my opinion! And if you involve children in the process, they will be delighted!

Funny birds from plastic bottles. Photo from ru.pinterest.com The tools used are the same as those listed above. Paints are not necessarily acrylic. But they dry faster, this is a plus. And they hardly smell. True, they are also different. These crafts captivated me precisely with their airiness and singularity. I specially collect bottles and make such a curtain in my yard! I think you can use bottles of different sizes.

Plastic bottle curtains. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com Mostly bottoms will come in handy, but you can also cut the leaves!

Lampshade made of plastic bottles. Photo from ru.pinterest.com I recently wrote about garden paths in article 9 garden path materials. But there was nothing about bottles, only about their caps. It turns out that the bottoms will make a good path along which it is pleasant to walk barefoot and massage the legs. Please note: the bottoms are laid on loose sand. When laying, the master applies an effort so that the blanks are filled with sand. This will exclude their deformation in the future when you walk on them. This is where the expanse is ... If you think that garden decor from bottles is not for you, perhaps you will be interested in useful things that can be made of them. Washstand and box for plastic bottle bags. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com It is advisable to make a self-made washbasin lockable so that leaves, insects and other debris do not fall into the water. There are also more complex designs. You can, for example, cut a hose with a tap into a large bottle. But this is so that it is quite convenient. And you can make a box from a bottle for bags, napkins or something like that. Making a scoop with your own hands is as easy as shelling pears. Take a bottle and mark with a marker the shape of the future scoop. The rest is a matter of scissors. Well, or a knife. Scoop from a plastic bottle. Photo from ru.pinterest.com This is a shoe that wears out pretty quickly.

There are many different kinds of them. I will only talk about a windmill from a mole and a mosquito trap.

Let's start with a trap

It is very easy to make it. Cut off the top of the bottle and insert it with the neck down. The design must be darkened with paper or cloth - mosquitoes will more readily fly in there.

Pour the sugar-yeast syrup into the bottom of the bottle as bait. It is simple to make it: pour hot water, add sugar and yeast there, stir and cool. Such a trap will attract not only mosquitoes, but also bees, wasps, flies.

You can put the structure on the window or hang it up - this is optional. You need to clean it once a week. Insect traps from plastic bottles. Photo from ru.pinterest.com By the way, I don't know why the syrup is brown in the photo - maybe made from cane sugar?))) Or maybe it's kvass. By the way, yes - insects also fly to kvass. Once they left a jar of kvass on the porch, so so many midges flocked there!

Wind vane that repels moles and more

These devices were described in detail in the article How to drive moles out of the country. I think you already know about the fact that some escape from the bear with the help of bottles. The bottom and throat of the bottle are cut off - a cylinder is obtained, which is then dug into the ground. Such a "cover" protects the root system of a young plant from attacks by a bear. For these purposes, rectangular bottles are more suitable. For example, from under engine oils. However, there are also bottles for water of this shape. Containers are made simply: mark with a marker, cut. Everything =))

Storage containers made of plastic bottles. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com These boxes can be very useful in the household. Some people put the containers in with the neck up, but then you need to make holes in the bottle so that the water goes away. Using plastic water bottles. Photo from ru.pinterest.com As for heating plants, you can simply pour water into bottles and put them on the plant. In the sun, the water heats up and will give off heat to the earth for some time. I know that glass bottles are also dug into the ground, but today we are talking about plastic. For many people, it is generally contraindicated to work upside down. This is especially true for hypertensive patients. But how, then, weed the garden? There are many devices, I will tell you about knee pads. If you work on your knees, your head will no longer be down, therefore, your well-being will not suffer. All you need is to find the right bottles, try them on to your knees, and cut out the knee pads to the desired shape. Then attach the ties. It's simple. And what kind of pots made of plastic bottles do not exist! Some just pour earth into bottles, others make real masterpieces. The possibilities are endless. What's good: bottles can always be painted in any color and hung anywhere. For example, how do you like these ideas?

Flower pots. Photo from ru.pinterest.com Very cute, and you won't immediately guess what the pots are made of. Plastic bottle candlesticks can be very beautiful. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com But this is only one of the options, you can also connect two necks. Instead of a thousand words, I'll show you one video.

Why buy a broom when it can be done in half an hour? The farm periodically needs to pour something from one container to another. Not necessarily something edible - it happens, and diluted fertilizer, and poison for Colorado beetles ... Do not use a funnel from the kitchen for such purposes! And a funnel can be made from a bottle at any time. Funnels from plastic bottles. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com We fed the birds in such feeders all winter. The bottles used were large, 5 liter. I cut out windows in them, made small "thresholds" and "porches". So that the birds could sit comfortably, and the snow did not drift inside. Another plus - it is convenient to hang such feeders on trees, they already have handles.

Bird feeders from plastic bottles. Photo from ru.pinterest.com These are not funnels with pots, but something more serious. Enterprising people from anything can build something for themselves. For example, plastic bottles make excellent greenhouses and gazebos. A finished medium-sized greenhouse costs more than 15 thousand rubles.

The plastic bottle greenhouse has a number of advantages:

  • it is cheap;
  • durable;
  • easily repaired;
  • light in weight, it can be rearranged if necessary;

Greenhouse made of plastic bottles. Photo from parkdoma.ru I walked around different sites and realized that there are 2 main ways to use plastic bottles in construction:
Greenhouses made of plastic bottles. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com When the sheets (strips) are ready, you can make a frame. I will tell you right away that they even build houses from bottles, and which ones! A lovely sight! But mostly glass bottles are used - they are still stronger. And they do not need to be filled with additional sand. The technology for building a gazebo from plastic bottles is, in general, simple. The child will figure it out. We fill the bottles with sand. These will be our "bricks". We mark the shape of the gazebo, think over the architecture, make the cement mortar, the base and erect the walls!

A gazebo made of plastic bottles. Photo from the site hs.fi There are, however, subtleties. For example, it is better to put a reinforcing mesh between the rows of masonry - the structure will be stronger. In addition, until the solution completely dries, it is better to hold the bottles with something so that they do not creep. Well, and we follow the usual rules for laying a brick wall. Everything will work out! In conclusion, I want to say the following. Friends, let us, whenever possible, find some more useful use for garbage than a landfill. So that there are as few landfills as possible on the planet. And then they even dirtied the seabed, not to mention the shores. Plastic bottles are rubbish. Photo from the site ru.pinterest.com In the spring, in general, I am very angry with people: the snow is melting, the first "snowdrops" are opening up ... I even wrote to the newspaper, tried to influence my conscience somehow - it's useless. I think I should print this post and spread it to all my neighbors))). Of course, there are not all the options for using plastic bottles in the country ... You can also make boats ... mugs, armchairs ... In general, anything))

Friends, I have one question for you: do you use plastic bottles in the household, and if so, how? By the way, do not forget that photos of your handicrafts and successful "inventions" can be posted in the comments;)

Surely the inventors of plastic bottles had no idea how widely people would use them. Today, craftsmen have learned how to make a huge number of useful things from plastic bottles with their own hands, from toys to a boat or a house. We will restrict ourselves to considering crafts that will help you beautifully decorate your site, garden or vegetable garden.

Bright crafts and decorations from bottles in the yard

Such poppies always bloom, and for this they will not be fined.

The most striking decoration in the yard is flowers. From plastic containers, they turn out remarkably and a considerable number of examples have already been invented. Do you want to build a tree from bottles with your own hands? It is possible!

Flowers are suitable for pond decor and

Hunting trophy assembly instructions:

Funny donkey made of plastic bottles for your garden

As the pictures show, donkeys are slightly different. I came up with my own collective image and prepared a master class for you:

  1. For the assembly of the craft, we have prepared 8 bottles. Subsequently, it took another, brown color, to make the animal's mane.
  2. The neck of a 5-liter eggplant was cut off and the bottle caps for the legs were screwed on with self-tapping screws. By screwing the screws in different places, you can adjust the inclination of the plugs. You must use at least three self-tapping screws to fix one cover.

  3. Cut off the neck of the head container.
  4. Cut out the donkey neck blank from the middle part of the bottle. In the side view, it is trapezoidal. On the sides of the part, we leave two protrusions for which the neck will be attached.
  5. We fasten the neck to the head with two self-tapping screws. They will be inside the torso.
  6. We bend the neck to the head and fasten the parts with another screw.

  7. Now we attach the neck to the body with two self-tapping screws. They will be inside the torso.
  8. We turn the neck to the body and fasten it with two more screws from the bottom.

  9. This is what the donkey's frame looks like at this stage.
  10. Cut out the ear blanks from the green bottle. For one ear, you need a fourth of the bottle cut along the length. In the lower part of the ear we cut the protrusions for attaching to the head, in accordance with the image.
  11. We bend the sidewalls of the protrusions so that they go into the narrow slots prepared in the head.

  12. We mark the slots on the head with a marker in accordance with the size of the ear. They should be sized to match the width of the raised ear protrusions. We carry out the slots.
  13. Insert the ear protrusions into the slots on the donkey's head. After installation, the folded parts will straighten and securely hold the ear on the body of the animal's head.

  14. This is what our ward looks like with ears. Paint it with gray paint and leave it to dry overnight.
  15. Cooking the donkey's mane from a brown bottle. The length of the workpiece corresponds to the length of the neck. To attach the part to the neck, cut out three protrusions in accordance with the image. We simulate the hair, cutting through the part with a step of 2mm and not reaching its edge 15mm.
  16. We bend the edges of the protrusions for subsequent fixation to the neck. We make two blanks for the mane.

  17. On the neck, mark three cuts with a marker in accordance with the location of the protrusions on the details of the mane. Their width should correspond to the size of the protrusions on the parts of the mane with curved edges. We make slots.
  18. We bend the edges of the protrusions on the details of the mane and sequentially insert them into the slots on the neck of the animal.

  19. Harness and donkey tail are conveniently made from garden curb tape. From it it is necessary to cut a strip 15mm wide and fasten it to the body of the craft with five self-tapping screws. Eyes will fit from an old toy. We fasten them with double-sided tape. We paint the muzzle and ears from the inside with white paint. We paint the nostrils and mouth with red and black paints.

  20. Can be harnessed! We use a plastic box as a cart. Wheels are good from old children's toys. They can be mounted on an axis of welding electrodes. We make shafts from thin branches. For good stability in windy weather, sand should be poured into the bottles of the donkey's legs.

Do-it-yourself will definitely come in handy on the farm.

Nowadays there is no shortage of everyday and durable goods. The free sale has everything you need to ensure normal material living conditions - from personal hygiene items to dishwashers. But it would be wrong to believe that in these conditions, making useful homemade products from improvised and even waste materials with your own hands is not a very serious business.

Useful homemade plastic bottles

Firstly, there are situations when there is no time (and sometimes money) to go to the store for an urgently needed item, and it is not difficult to make this thing yourself from the available material. Secondly, and this is more important, making crafts is a good reason and an excellent means of introducing children to handicraft. Making useful homemade products together with adults, they are accustomed to work from an early age.

It has long been fashionable to make all kinds of crafts from plastic bottles. They are easy to process, and products made from them have a good presentation. Here, using three examples, we will tell you how such homemade products from plastic bottles are created.

Plastic panicle

Materials and tools:
- 6 two-liter plastic bottles;

- a piece of wire;
- small nails;
- scissors;
- stationery knife;
- awl;
- hammer.

Sequence of operations

We remove labels from all bottles. Having chosen any bottle, we cut off the bottom with a clerical knife.

With scissors we cut this bottle into strips of 5 mm wide not reaching 10 centimeters to the neck.

Now we cut off the neck. We perform these operations (cutting off the bottom, cutting strips, cutting off the neck) with four more bottles, but do not cut off the neck of the last one.

On this last one (with a neck), we put on the remaining four prepared bottles one after the other. We get the working part of the broom.

Cut off the top of the sixth bottle and put it on this working part of the broom.

We pierce two through holes in our structure with an awl, pass the wire through them and tighten it.

We insert a handle into the neck and nail a broom to it with nails.

The plastic broom is ready.

Plastic flower vase

Materials and tools:
- plastic bottle;
- scissors.

Sequence of operations

Cut off its upper part from the bottle (it is not needed).

We measure the future neck of the vase and cut it into thin strips.

Bend all the strips outward.

We turn the bottle over, put it on a flat hard surface and press down - in order to ensure the smooth edges of the neck of the future vase.

We take any strip and bend it over three adjacent strips in a row.

With the next strip (along the way), we do the same operation. And so we go through the whole circle up to and including the last strip.

The plastic flower vase is ready. If you don't look too closely, you get the impression that this is a vase made of crystal or thin glass.

Such a vase would be quite appropriate, for example, in a summer house at a recreation center.

Plastic beads

Materials and tools:
- several plastic bottles;
- scissors;
- stationery knife;
- metal knitting needles;
- heat tool (you can use a thermal gun);
- heat-resistant surface;
- paints for plastic or acrylic paints (can be painted with a cosmetic sponge);
- drill;
- drill 1/16;
- decorative buttons;
- threads for embroidery;
- connecting rings (open);
- pliers.

Sequence of operations

Cut out flowers with petals from the lower parts of the bottles, as in the photo (top row).

We put the flowers on a heat-resistant surface and, pressing their middle with a knitting needle to the surface, process the petals with a heat tool to give them the desired shape.

Under the influence of heat, the edges of the petals curl up. After reaching the desired shape, we remove the heat.

We paint all flowers on both sides. At the same time, we put more paint on the lower side - it will be more matte. Let the paint dry.

Cut out oval-shaped leaves from the walls of the bottles. We paint them the same way as flowers. Drill holes at the ends of each leaf (for connection in a necklace).

We make white daisies from bottle caps: with a clerical knife we cut the edges of the caps into strips of the same width.

Using a heat tool and a knitting needle, give the chamomile petals the desired shape.
