How beautiful to put a pavilion in the country. Garden pavilion (36 photos): choice for mobility, materials, size, openness and shape of the roof

Or installation - choice of location. Trade will flourish only in "busy" places, so the choice should be approached thoroughly. After you have approximately looked after the land plot for the pavilion, you will need to decide which pavilion you want to build. It will already depend on what and when you will trade, the choice of pavilions is huge. For temporary, summer trade, pavilions made of light structures are very suitable, which do not belong to real estate, since they do not have a strong connection with the ground. For other types of trade, a pavilion with a foundation that will not be cold is more suitable. This pavilion is real estate. The rights to property are subject to state registration with the bodies of Rosreestr.

In order to rent a land plot for the construction of a pavilion, you will need to submit an application to the authorized state or municipal body for the selection of a land plot and preliminary approval of the location of the object - the pavilion. The authorized body carries out all the necessary procedures for selecting a site and informing interested parties about the upcoming construction of your pavilion. A decision is made on the preliminary approval of the location of the pavilion, cadastral work is carried out, the site is put on the cadastral register. After that, the authority decides to provide a plot for construction, a lease agreement is concluded, which must be registered with the Rosreestr authorities.

The next step is to obtain permission to build a pavilion. However, it is only necessary if the pavilion can be considered an object of capital construction. The Town Planning Code gives a rather vague definition of such objects (a capital construction object is a building, structure, structure, with the exception of temporary buildings, kiosks, sheds, and the like). However, most of the pavilions can still be attributed to capital construction projects according to these characteristics. To obtain a building permit, you must submit an appropriate application to the authorized body, attaching to it:
1. title documents for a land plot - a lease agreement, etc.
2. design documentation for the pavilion.
3. town-planning plan of the land plot on which the pavilion is located.
4. conclusion of the state expertise of the design documentation for the pavilion.
In different cases, other documents may be required.
Only after passing through all these steps, it will be possible to begin the construction of the pavilion directly.

A sultry hot day and a cool summer evening can be comfortably spent in a tent installed in a summer cottage. It is a great alternative to a pergola, but has some advantages primarily because it does not take much time to install. With a wide variety of options offered by stores, it is difficult to choose exactly the product that will satisfy all requirements. And if you independently develop a design, then the tent will organically fit into the overall style and become the highlight of your summer cottage.

Functions and arrangement of the tent

A tent is a small building with walls or a frame located under a canopy. As a rule, it is mounted for a short period and, if necessary, can be moved from one place to another. Most often, a tent is installed in a recreation area - where the barbecue is located, or on the other side of the house from where a beautiful view opens. Sometimes it is mounted next to the pool so that you can hide in the shade after swimming. Thanks to the removable side walls, it can be completely or partially open and close from the desired side so that no draft is created.

The tent is a temporary building that can be dismantled or moved to another location.

The design of the tent should harmoniously fit into the general appearance of the site.

Types of tents

With the independent development of the project, you can design a tent of almost any design and shape. It all depends on how you imagine it, and on the materials that are available. There are four main types of tents:

  • tourist - has a small size, easy to carry in a backpack. It is mounted from a frame and stretch marks that stretch the awning and make the structure stable even in windy weather;
  • folding - lightweight construction, consisting of racks and an upper canopy, without side rails. Most often used as a hiding place during a picnic;
  • gazebo-tent - a design similar to a gazebo, with side walls made of fabric or mosquito nets attached to the upper horizontal part of the frame;
  • tent-pavilion - a mobile structure used during festive events: weddings, festivities, etc. It is decorated with various types of fabrics, it can be of various sizes and shapes.

Use of tents for various events

Depending on the purpose, tents can be designed in different ways - from multi-layered and luxurious to the simplest, not attracting attention.

Preparatory work: size selection and drawing up drawings

The size of the tent depends on the size of the site. If the standard summer cottage is 6 acres, then the tent will be small. It should not look ridiculous against the backdrop of a country house and other buildings, but harmoniously fit into the landscape and match the general style.

The style of construction should fit well with the overall design of the site.

Before proceeding with the acquisition of materials, you need to draw up a preliminary drawing. This will allow not only to focus on a specific option, but will also provide an opportunity to make the necessary adjustments before starting work.

The diagram shows the dimensions of the structure and the layout of the fabric for the awning is done

This diagram shows all the necessary dimensions and the amount of materials for construction. If desired, they can be changed and recalculated.

Depending on the purpose, the area of the inner space of the tent can be from 5 to 100 m 2 . The size of 5–10 m 2 is considered optimal for a summer cottage.

A simple rectangular or polygonal tent can be assembled from metal or polypropylene pipes.

The metal frame gives the tent the necessary strength, and well-chosen fabric partitions - a harmonious appearance

This design can be collapsible. When replacing the awning, you can completely update the appearance of the tent.

Any awning can be pulled onto a collapsible metal frame, completely changing the appearance of the tent

The Saxon-type tent looks no less original.. It can often be found at various historical reconstructions and during rock festivals.

The Saxon tent is easy to assemble and requires a minimum of materials

The cutting and assembly scheme is very simple. Depending on the climate, various materials can be selected for the awning.

The drawing indicates not only the size of the tent, but also the required amount of materials

The arched tent looks much more attractive and interesting. As a rule, it has a large size, but if desired, a smaller version can be made.

In the tents of the arched form, solemn events are often held.

It is assembled on the basis of a metal frame, which will require certain skills, but the result will please.

The basis of any tent is the frame. The choice of material depends on the reliability and stability of the structure, its service life. For the manufacture of the frame, you can use several types of materials, depending on whether it is stationary or collapsible:

  • wood is the most affordable and environmentally friendly frame. Depending on the thickness of the timber or boards used for construction, it is possible to build both a large tent and a lightweight portable structure for a large number of guests;
  • galvanized profile is an excellent material for a portable tent. Easily fits in a bag and is transported, will last long enough;
  • polypropylene or metal tubes - they are easily mounted using special connecting modules, depending on the diameter they can be used to build tents of various sizes;
  • brick - used for the construction of a stationary frame. Some building skills are required. Most often, this kind of tent is used as a summer kitchen.

The collapsible design looks weightless due to the successful selection of the awning material

In order to make the rest in the tent the most comfortable, mosquito nets, refractory materials and convenient fasteners are used in the manufacture of tents.

A variety of materials can be used to make a tent awning. They are selected depending on the material from whichframe will be made:

To decorate the side parts, you can use natural fabrics: linen, cotton, chintz - it all depends on the purpose of the design

A dense fabric is used for the dome, and the side walls of the tent are decorated with light fabric.

Materials and tools needed to build a tent

According to a pre-drawn drawing, you can calculate the amount of material for the frame and for the manufacture of a canopy and side walls. If you have the necessary skills, you can cut and sew the details of the canopy and side parts yourself. But you can entrust the manufacture of the awning to specialists by providing preliminary drawings and specifying the necessary elements for attaching the awning to the frame. It can be either ties, or special hooks or Velcro fixing tape.

To install a wooden frame, you can make a strip or column foundation or dig the base bars into the ground.

To build a simple wooden frame tent, we need:

  • wooden blocks with a section of 50X50 mm and a height of 2.7 and 2.4 m;
  • boards 30–40 mm thick;
  • metal corners and screws;
  • antiseptic or primer for wood processing;
  • shovel;
  • brace or garden drill;
  • building level;
  • corner;
  • hacksaw or grinder;
  • roulette construction;
  • screwdriver or electric drill;
  • hammer.

The nuances of preparing the base for a tent in the country

The tent should look organically on the site and be located in such a way that there are flower beds nearby or a picturesque view opens up. You can place it on the green lawn next to the house.

The site for the installation of the tent should first be perfectly leveled, cleared of weeds, large roots and stones. For a stationary tent, you must first pour a strip foundation, and on top of it make a flooring of wood, natural stone, rolled lawn or paving slabs.

For a collapsible structure, you must first mark the site, free it from debris and roots, and remove up to 15 centimeters of soil. Then fill the sand with a layer of 10 cm, carefully spill it with water and tamp it down, and cover it with a 5 cm layer of granulation on top.

The site for the installation of the tent must be leveled

Step-by-step instructions for building a tent with a mosquito net

  1. We mark the boundaries for the installation of the tent and prepare the site for installation . We pre-designate a place to install the tent, driving in pegs in the corners, and with the help of a stretched cord we designate its sides. We prepare the site by removing the soil and making a pillow of sand and granulate.

    The top layer of soil must be removed and a pillow made of sand and granulate

  2. We proceed to the installation of support racks. In places where the supports for the tent will be located, we make holes with a depth of about 70 cm with the help of a rotator or a garden drill. We install support pillars in the prepared holes strictly vertically using the building level. Their lower part, which will be in the ground, must first be wrapped with roofing felt or painted with oil paint to prevent rotting.

    The earth around the pillars can be tamped, but for reliability it is better to fill it with concrete. If the tent will have a shed roof, then the rear posts should be 30 cm shorter than the front ones so that water flows freely from it. If a cone-shaped roof is planned, then another pillar can be concreted in the center, which will be at least 50 cm higher than the side ones.

    Before installation in the ground, the support poles are treated with paint or wrapped with roofing material

  3. We mount the top trim. The fastening of the cross bars is carried out only after the side supports have completely dried. For this, metal plates or special corners are used.

    Metal corners are used to fasten the cross bars

  4. After the formation of the upper trim, we proceed to the formation of the roof. To do this, we attach additional strips, placing them crosswise or in another way, provided for by the drawing.
  5. To increase the strength of the tent, the rafters are connected with a transverse crate

  6. We stretch the top awning and attach the side walls to the finished frame. To do this, we use special ties or Velcro fasteners. In the daytime, you can only use an awning - it is quite enough to hide from the sun.

    In the daytime, the top awning of the tent is enough to hide from the bright sun.

    If necessary, side walls made of fabric can be attached to the upper part of the frame. They are attached to the transverse planks of the frame from three sides. From the side of the entrance to the tent, you can hang a mosquito net. It is very convenient if it consists of two parts and is equipped with special magnets or a zipper.

    For protection against insects, it is convenient if the mosquito net consists of two parts and closes with magnetic latches

Mounting options for the tent in the ground and on asphalt

When installing a prefabricated tent on the ground, you need to use additional safety wires.

This will increase the rigidity of the structure and extend its service life. Stretch marks are installed using special pegs 15–20 cm long, which are driven into the ground along the perimeter of the tent.

Stretch marks are used to strengthen the structure from gusts of wind.

If the tent will be mounted on asphalt, metal rods are additionally used. To strengthen them, special holes are drilled, rods are inserted into them, which are then poured with concrete mortar. After the concrete hardens, stretch marks are attached to the rods.

The construction of the tent does not take much time and allows you to feel like a designer. If necessary, awnings of different colors and sizes can be used with the same frame, which will allow the design to look different every season. And the work on decorating the tent for a special occasion will delight family and friends.

Numerous owners of dachas and country houses have already acquired outdoor pools. However, most summer residents, when building a water reservoir, do not plan to build a pavilion for the pool, considering it an overkill.

Over time, the desire to extend the swimming season, the laboriousness of the process of cleaning water and the inconvenience caused by the vagaries of nature make us think about creating a functional and comfortable cover for the pool.

The need to build a pavilion for the pool

The swimming pool in the countryside allows you to comfortably relax after a working day, cheer up and restore physical strength. Usually outdoor pools are installed in the country, requiring regular cleaning of garden debris. In addition, the swimming period in such a pool is limited to the warm season.

To protect the water from pollution and the ability to use the pool regardless of weather conditions, special canopies are installed.

The pavilion for the pool is a structure made of steel or aluminum supports covered with a waterproof heat-insulating roofing material (polycarbonate or plexiglass).

The advantages of installing a pool pavilion are obvious:

As you can see, there are enough arguments for the construction of a hinged structure. It remains to decide on the type of pavilion and carry out its high-quality installation.

Types of pavilions for pools

Stationary and telescopic pavilions

All protective pavilions can be divided into two main groups:

  • stationary;
  • sliding (telescopic).

Stationary pavilions more like indoor pools. This design performs not just a protective function, but also is an independent resting place for the whole family. Usually, the area of the canopy is not limited only to the area above the pool, it provides a place for placing chairs, sun loungers, tables and other attributes of relaxation. Heating is often carried out in the stationary pavilion, which allows the use of the reservoir all year round.

Sliding pavilions for pools - these are structures from separate sections that move and release part of the pool (or the entire pool) for direct sunlight. Thus, the indoor pool can be easily transformed into a semi-open or open one.

To move the sections, rails are installed along the sides of the pool (some models can move with the help of wheels alone). The number, height and shape of the mobile sections determine the functionality of the mobile pavilion for the pool.

Double-glazed window or polycarbonate: choice of pavilion according to the material of manufacture

If the pool room is planned to be used as a winter garden, a greenhouse or as a closed resting place, then it is necessary to build a stationary pavilion from a durable double-glazed window. Such a design will reliably protect from cold, wind and have a beautiful, presentable appearance.

If the double-glazed pavilion is additionally insulated, then the pool can also be used in the cold season.

However, the use of double-glazed windows as a roofing material is a rather expensive undertaking that requires additional financial investments to create a powerful steel frame and install a reliable foundation.

A worthy alternative to double-glazed windows is the use of polycarbonate in the construction of canopies for swimming pools. Translucent plastic plastic allows you to create a design of any complexity and shape.

Polycarbonate pool pavilions have the following characteristics:

  • to carry out the installation under the force of non-professionals;
  • good light transmission;
  • strength and lightness of construction;
  • fire resistance;
  • affordability;
  • ease of care;
  • long service life with proper construction (up to ten years).

The only drawback of using the material is that it is not possible to use the pool in winter. However, most summer residents who have a rest outside the city only in the summer, prefer polycarbonate pavilions.

To cover the reservoir, it is better to use polycarbonate, 8 mm thick

Classification of pavilions by height

Based on the height of the structure, pool pavilions are usually divided into two categories:

  • low pavilions;
  • tall pavilions.

The choice of the height of the canopy will depend on the tasks that are assigned to the protective coating. low pavilion suitable for pools that are used irregularly and can be idle for a long time.

A low pavilion (“cover” for the pool), about 1 meter high, performs the main function - protecting water from debris, precipitation and the sun. Before swimming, the sections must be moved apart.

Structures with a height of 2 meters are made according to the principle of a greenhouse. A door is mounted at the end of the pavilion and, if desired, you can use the indoor pool without moving the sections. Free movement along the sides of the pool in this case is limited.

High protective pavilions(up to 3 meters in height) form a full-fledged room for relaxation, if the boundaries of the pavilion are larger than the bowl of the pool itself. This design will allow you to use the pool in any weather, without any restrictions.

Varieties of pavilions in form and style

Pavilions can be installed on pools of any type and shape. The most common solution is a pavilion in the form of a horizontally located half-cylinder, divided into sections.

Rectangular, trapezoidal pavilions and structures that successfully combine rectilinear and arcuate elements (asymmetric structures) are popular.

It is believed that in shelters of a rectangular shape with an upper part curved in an arc, the usable space is used most efficiently. In addition, snow on a roof with this shape will not accumulate, which will increase the strength and durability of the structure.

For round-shaped pools, spherical canopies equipped with a pair of sliding panels are ideal. The dome of the structure is well ventilated, and under the tent it is quite possible to place the necessary furniture for relaxation.

Metal and plastic materials for the manufacture of pavilions dictate the main style of shelter - high-tech. The simplicity of the design is offset by the brilliance emanating from the water surface, and the mobility of the sections adds dynamism to the entire structure.

If the owner of the pool prefers a more naturalistic style, then in the manufacture of the frame, you can use a durable metal-plastic that looks like wood, and replace the transparent, gleaming polycarbonate with a matte one. This will not affect the properties of the pavilion, and outwardly it will seem more “soft” and cozy.

Do-it-yourself construction of a pool pavilion

Many summer residents have a desire to independently build a pavilion for the pool, because buying and installing a finished structure is an expensive pleasure.

When starting the construction of the pavilion, it is necessary to take into account some recommendations:

  • the pavilion is installed on a special base (the length and width of the base should be 5-7 cm larger than the size of the structure being erected);
  • the weight of the finished structure can reach 5 tons, so the thickness of the concrete base must be at least 50 cm;
  • the width of the base must be based on the dimensions of the guide rails;
  • to protect the concrete base from moisture, it is desirable to cover it with porcelain stoneware or tiles;
  • special attention should be paid to sealing the joints of polycarbonate (you can use a colorless silicone sealant or a special tape).

To work, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • profile pipe of rectangular or square section;
  • welding machine;
  • polycarbonate sheets;
  • fasteners;
  • concrete mixture;
  • shovel;
  • screwdriver;
  • jigsaw;
  • concrete mixer.

Polycarbonate can be replaced with thick polyethylene - this will save money, but the appearance and performance of the pavilion will deteriorate.

If there is a recreation area with tiles laid around the pool, you can immediately proceed with the installation of the structure. Otherwise, it is necessary to fill the foundation. Concrete is reinforced - square cells (20 * 20 cm) are laid out.

The foundation should protrude 7 cm forward from the structure - this will reliably hold the entire load of the pavilion

Wireframe creation

The main arcs of the frame must be made from a wide pipe, on which two adjacent polycarbonate sheets will be attached. The length of the arc is taken from the calculation: 1 pool height (for low pavilions - 2 meters) + pool width.

Profile pipes are stretched through the pool in the form of arches. It is difficult to bend the arcs correctly on your own, so it is better to order them from specialists. Those who skillfully work with a welding machine can experiment and bend the arc. To do this, in that part of the pipe that should bend, it is necessary to cut it with a circular saw from three sides. Fix the ends of the pipe in a vise and gently bend. After that, all cuts must be welded and sanded.

We fix the base of the frame to the foundation with bolts, and install the arcs. If the pavilion is collapsible, then the arcs must be fastened with bolts and nuts, and if it is not collapsible, then welding can be used.

The arcs are stretched at a distance from each other - 1 meter. Between the arcs it is necessary to install stiffeners. You can arrange them in a checkerboard pattern: between the 1st and 2nd arc - two edges, between the 2nd and 3rd arc - three, then again two, etc. This number of arcs will be enough for laying polycarbonate and structural stability.

After assembly, the frame must be treated with an anti-corrosion agent and painted in the desired color.

Sheathing with roofing materials

On polycarbonate sheets, it is necessary to mark the places and drill holes through which the material will be attached to the profile pipes. The width of the hole should be slightly larger than the size of the screws, as it is necessary to leave a margin for the expansion of polycarbonate under the influence of heat. The frame is sheathed with roofing material.

When fastening polycarbonate sheets with self-tapping screws, galvanized washers must be placed under the caps to cover the holes

The joints and fastenings of materials must be treated with sealant, and the concrete base must be finished with tiles or porcelain stoneware.

Maintenance of the pavilion for the pool

Caring for a polycarbonate pavilion does not require much effort, as this material has a special coating that prevents the appearance of streaks and stains. In winter, the pavilion must be regularly cleared of snow.

Every year it is necessary to inspect the metal frame of the structure for signs of corrosion, such as swelling or swelling of the paint, the appearance of rusty spots.

The consequences of rust on the structural elements of the building can be very sad - from deterioration in the appearance of the pavilion to its complete destruction. Therefore, it is important to take timely action and eliminate traces of corrosion. The work is carried out in two stages:

  • cleaning the damaged area;
  • material processing (putty, priming and painting).

If the damage is serious enough (through or have deep covering corrosion zones), then it is necessary to replace the damaged area.

In the specialized market, pavilions for swimming pools are represented by manufacturers from different countries. The most expensive are German designs, the suppliers of which are responsible for the quality of the goods. Budget option - Chinese pavilions. The facilities of Russian companies occupy the "golden mean" in the "price-quality" category.

The choice of ready-made pavilions is impressive, and the pricing policy sometimes scares away potential buyers. Therefore, building a pool pavilion with your own hands can be the best option for summer residents who seek to “ennoble” their pond.

In the 21st century, you will no longer surprise anyone with the presence of a suburban area that can give you a few quiet days away from the noisy city. Regardless of the size of the dacha, a person wants to create a unique design here, allowing you to fully enjoy your vacation outside the city. Nowadays, there are many thematic publications, television programs and specialized agencies that allow you to transform your suburban area, but to make your dacha look like a photo from a glossy magazine, you will need to make a lot of effort.

Beautiful tent for summer cottages

Professional designers say that the original arbors were not very comfortable. As a rule, the frame was mounted directly on the ground, followed by the installation of a light roof. The development of modern technologies and the level of claims of the owners of country houses forced designers to reconsider approaches to construction, adding a greater level of comfort to classic gazebos. Today, a structure consisting solely of a frame and a small roof belongs to the category of canopies or tents.

Modern gazebos are characterized by a number of positive aspects:

  • scale;
  • mobility;
  • functionality;
  • durability.

Let's consider all these characteristics separately. Foreign and domestic pavilions allow you to comfortably relax in love or a large group of friends. Individual instances can be transformed based on specific needs. Its mobility is directly related to the size of the gazebo. The customer must immediately decide whether he will move the gazebo around his site or not? Depending on the answer to this question, you need to make your choice in favor of one of the options. At the same time, you need to understand that the glazed version of the gazebo will be impossible to move around the site.

Do-it-yourself gazebo for a summer residence

The functional aspect of the gazebo deserves special attention. Many customers consider arbors exclusively as a summer decorative element of their dacha. Designers do not agree with this formulation of the issue, emphasizing the possibility of using gazebos even in the cold season. No, the owner of the cottage will not have to install 2 gazebos on his site at once, allowing him to comfortably relax at any time of the year. Modern technologies allow you to convert the same gazebo to work in different temperature conditions. Yes, these options are more expensive, but they are justified in terms of functionality.

At the final stage, the customer must decide on the duration of the operation of the gazebo on his site. Will your summer house be complemented by a tent or gazebo only in summer? Are you planning to build a truly capital structure on your site, which should stand for more than one year? The answer to this question will determine not only the choice of building materials, but also the construction technology.

Do-it-yourself gazebo for a summer residence

Owners of country houses, who feel that they themselves can perfectly cope with the construction of a gazebo, have a number of undeniable advantages than those who plan to buy a ready-made version in a store. A person no longer limits himself to a photo from the catalog, offering to purchase pavilions, tents or gazebos. Now only fantasy limits your creative quest.

The construction process can be divided into several stages:

  • selection of a suitable site;
  • construction of the frame and foundation;
  • roof arrangement;
  • roofing.

It all starts with choosing a site on your site where the future gazebo will be placed. In order to simplify the process of finding the required site, designers offer to use one very effective way. Take a photo of your site and put it in the photo editor. With the help of simple manipulations, you can evaluate the various options for the location of the future gazebo.

For example, a gazebo that will be used for secluded relaxation should be located in a remote corner of the garden. The general architectural version of such a gazebo does not have to be coordinated with the design of the main house. At the same time, you should take care in advance that your gazebo has a view of the lake or forest, rather than the wall of a neighboring house.

Forged gazebo for the garden

When the desired point in space is found, you can begin to prepare it, followed by the arrangement of the foundation. Remember that the foundation of the gazebo for giving should be based on its frame. Carefully select building materials that must meet a number of requirements. Remember that you are building a durable building, so do not save on your own comfort. Experts recommend choosing a columnar foundation for giving. It does not require significant earthworks or lengthy leveling of the entire site.

Among other options for the foundation, you can use:

  • monolithic;
  • pile;
  • tape.

Directly the frame of the future gazebo can be made of timber, metal profile or fittings. It is important to remember that the frame of the gazebo must ensure its stability. It is advisable to abandon the blank walls, like a tent, which a strong gust of wind will carry away for several kilometers. Of course, if you plan to fry meat in such an arbor, then it is really better to lay out the walls of stone or brick.

Particular attention should be paid to the roof of the gazebo, which should not turn into a sieve. The use of cheap materials can significantly spoil your holiday. For a summer residence, a gazebo with shingles is perfect.

Today, gazebos made from non-traditional materials are gaining more and more popularity in the world. For example, a gazebo made of plastic or glass bottles will not only save the family budget, but also make your friends envy you. Yes, it is difficult to lay out the corner elements of the gazebo with bottles, but on the Internet you can find photos that allow you to solve this problem. The main thing is that a person is not afraid to experiment.

Option for the most economical

Designers specializing in the design of country houses note that not all people are ready to spend time and money on the construction of capital buildings on their site. As a rule, people explain their reluctance for several reasons.

  1. Firstly, the customer spends only a few days or weeks a year in the country, which makes the construction of a gazebo absolutely meaningless.
  2. Secondly, increasing cases of theft and vandalism in suburban areas are forcing many to abandon expensive investments in the surrounding landscape.

Agree, who wants to invest several thousand rubles in infrastructure that will remain only on photos taken once? It turns out that a comfortable stay has become a hostage to the above problems?

Pavilion for giving with forged details

Designers took into account the fears and wishes of customers, offering them a relatively inexpensive, but very functional option. A tent for a summer residence is a quick and versatile way to create the necessary conditions on your site for a comfortable stay. A leisurely conversation in a pleasant company, cooking barbecue or a friendly cocktail is one of the many ways to have a good time hiding from the scorching sun in a tent. These lightweight, mobile and pre-fabricated structures can be equipped anywhere and everywhere. Experience shows that even a beginner can handle the assembly perfectly.

The classic tent provides that the chair and table are located under a wide canopy. Depending on the size of your friendly company, you can always expand or narrow the parameters of the tent. Especially the country tent will appeal to those who are tired of the unexpected drizzle or attacks of blood-sucking creatures. The material that is used to create the walls and roof of the tent allows you to put a reliable barrier in the way of not only the vagaries of nature, but also mosquitoes. Such a tent is perfect for motorists who want to protect their car from rain, hail or heat.

Buy from a store or build yourself?

When choosing a way to acquire a tent, each person should proceed from their financial capabilities and technical skills. Today in any specialized store you can find everything you need to decorate your summer house with a tent.

In any store or design studio, you will find a catalog where the photo will reflect various options in size, design, and so on. At the same time, experts advise to be very careful about the presented photos. It is necessary to make sure that the contractor has the necessary experience in the manufacture of the tents listed in the catalog. As a rule, some sellers take photos from the Internet to attract buyers. The final version of the tent or gazebo is very far from the original in the photo.

You should not lose vigilance in the matter of choosing truly high-quality materials for the tent. Experts advise giving preference to those tents that are created using membrane technology that has proven its effectiveness. Thanks to her, the tent will be invulnerable to hail, rain and mosquitoes. Do not forget that the membrane technology allows you to create furniture for summer cottages, gardens or summer cafes. For example, a tent can be easily equipped with falling walls. In practice, this means that even slanting rain or the scorching sun will not disturb your peace.

The tent can be assembled in just 1-2 hours. It all starts with a frame, which is created from various materials:

  • wood;
  • metal;
  • plastic.

When choosing a frame, it is imperative to take into account the climatic features of your region. You should not hope that the plastic frame will withstand a storm or hurricane. The future frame of your tent in the upper and lower parts is rigidly connected with rods, which give additional strength to the entire structure. A membrane made of dense fabric is stretched over the frame. Professional builders advise pulling the membrane fabric as tightly as possible so that it does not sway in the wind. Particular attention should be paid to the fire safety of your tent. Remember that all materials must be guaranteed not to support the combustion process. Experience shows that an unsafe tent can become a mass grave for your company in the event of a fire.

A country tent can have a different number of faces, which determine the number of its sides:

  • four;
  • six;
  • ten.

For rare outings, a quadrangular shape is also suitable, but experienced summer residents advise choosing multifaceted tents. Such a tent not only allows you to accommodate more guests, but is also more stable.

Tent gazebos - rest for the lazy? Tent arbors have recently gained particular popularity. Many specialists and ordinary summer residents prefer to install them on their sites due to a number of advantages:

  • simple and fast installation;
  • a wide range of models presented in catalogs with photos;
  • large shading area;
  • reliable protection from the vagaries of nature and insects;
  • compact storage of the gazebo during the period when it is not in use;
  • mobility;
  • unpretentiousness in service;
  • cheapness.

The key requirement for a tent gazebo is size and weight. Lightweight Chinese fakes are easily blown away by the wind. The fabric of the tent gazebo must necessarily be water-repellent and not supporting the combustion process. For summer cottages, it is recommended to purchase tent gazebos equipped with fasteners made of metal. It is advisable to treat the supports of such an arbor with powder enamel paint, which makes it possible to slow down the process of rust formation.

Country pavilions are a relatively new decorative element in domestic household plots. You need to understand that the classic pavilion for giving is much more than a simple gazebo or tent. This can be erected in the form of a small unglazed gazebo or a luxurious place to relax that can protect from bad weather.

All pavilions for giving can be divided into 2 categories:

  • stationary pavilion;
  • assembly pavilion.

The first category includes resting places made of various materials. For example, a pavilion can be metal, straw, brick or wooden. The most common version of the pavilion for giving is wooden, which is due to the durability and environmental safety of this material. However, according to many designers, straw pavilions are also in demand. In the 21st century, it has become fashionable to use natural materials for arranging summer cottages.

In order to form your own opinion on this issue, it is enough to look at the numerous photos available in the public domain.

For the construction of a classic stationary pavilion, soft wood, such as alder, pine or spruce, is perfect. A pine pavilion will be beneficial for health, due to the abundance of natural resins in this material. The pavilion must be built from well-dried wood, which was covered with a layer of refractory impregnation.

Prefabricated pavilions for giving - a universal solution for your country house.

  1. Firstly, they weigh little and do not require much time to assemble. You can carry such a pavilion with you every season without any problems.
  2. Secondly, the prefabricated pavilion has a relatively low price. However, according to sellers, the cost of one will fluctuate depending on its size and model. You need to understand that a glazed pavilion will cost more than a simpler option.
  3. Thirdly, the prefabricated pavilion is distinguished by its reliability and resistance to climatic influences. At the same time, you need to understand that you need to purchase one not in a company where there is nothing besides beautiful catalogs with promising photos, but in a company with a good history.

As a rule, the frame of a high-quality pavilion is made of aluminum, which is not subject to corrosion. Experience shows that it will be very problematic to break such a pavilion with your hands.

Take note for outdoor enthusiasts

Many people, tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, rush to the country to get as far away from all the benefits of civilization as possible. In this case, no computers, gazebos or pavilions should violate the unity with nature. The solution to the problem was special tents, allowing you to feel like a real tourist on your own site.

For many years, tents were considered exclusively as an integral companion of any tourist, but today the situation has changed. Modern tents, which are easy to dismantle and store, allow any company to have a good time. Are you a proponent of seclusion? Do you like falling asleep looking at the stars? In this case, the tent will give you the vacation of your dreams. You need to choose carefully. Regardless of what kind of pavilion or gazebo you want to build on your site, you should always be very careful when choosing.

Remember that a cheap glazed pavilion or gazebo will collapse very quickly, unable to withstand the blows of the elements. You should not blindly believe photos in catalogs and on thematic sites. As a rule, owners deliberately post attractive photos in order to attract naive customers. Your vigilance and common sense are the key to your comfortable stay.

Our regular authors Anna Krasavtseva and Yuri Solovyov built a gazebo from profiled timber at the dacha. Its construction grooves go well with the graphic pattern of lining and imitation timber. In order not to break the geometry, it remains only to pick up the balusters in the style ...

Our family loves to gather in the country and fry kebabs together. The weather often made its own adjustments to the gatherings, so it was decided to build a canopy over the habitable place for family events. After the construction of the house, 13 pieces of profiled timber remained. They formed the basis of the future gazebo measuring 4 x 4.5 m. Moreover, it was decided to use the perforated grooves for decorating the walls, and to connect the bars themselves to the dowels.

We build a gazebo-pavilion-step by step instructions

1 . Beams of the lower trim made of profiled timber, cut to the size of the gazebos, were laid on the columnar foundation. For a strong fixation, they were fastened to the foundation blocks with metal corners.
2 . Prepared ten racks of the frame. On the beams of the lower trim, the attachment points of the frame racks were marked so that the non-corner racks fell in the middle of the foundation blocks. We drilled blind holes in the lower trim and drove wooden dowels into them, after lubricating them with PVA glue.
3 . The part of the dowels remaining on the surface was smeared with PVA glue and installed on top of the frame rack. Carefully aligned them vertically, checking the evenness with a building level. Temporarily fixed the racks in a strictly vertical position.

4 . We prepared the upper harness from a profiled beam. All four corners were connected to form a half-tree. We installed the upper harness on the frame racks, fastening the structure with dowels. They gave the whole structure stability with the help of five jibs in the upper corners.
5 . Three vertical headstocks 1 m long were sawn from a profiled beam. A groove 50 mm deep and 50 mm wide was sawn in the upper part of each post. We installed the racks on the beams of the truss system with the help of dowels. A ridge run was inserted into the grooves - a board with a section of 50 x 150 mm.

6 . Rafters installed. In the ridge, the rafter legs were overlapped and fixed with self-tapping screws, and they were attached to the rafter frame using metal corners. After that, the crate was stuffed on the rafters under the metal tiles.
7 . Sheathed one of the walls and the span of the second wall with an imitation of timber. The choice of the wall intended for sheathing depended on the prevailing winds and sun on the site.

8 . Collected railings from balusters. To do this, they marked on a board 25 x 100 mm (replaces an expensive baluster) the attachment points for balusters with an even step. They put a board on the ends of the balusters and fastened them with self-tapping screws. We also did with the top of the balusters, screwing them to the same board.
9 . We inserted the assembled fence structures into the spans between the racks by surprise. The lower baluster was screwed to the lower trim with self-tapping screws. The upper baluster was attached to the posts with the help of corners (as shown in photo 10).

10 . Instead of railings, a well-planed board 50 x 100 mm was sparingly used. At the bottom of each board, on both sides, grooves were chosen for the corners of the balustrade, so that the railing sat tightly on top.
11 . We inserted the railing into place in the railing structure and fastened it with self-tapping screws, screwing them from below from the side of the baluster.

12 . From the inside, the slopes of the roof were sheathed with clapboard. We started work from the bottom up - from the overhangs to the ridge. The beams were left open.
13 . Outside, the ends of the roof were sheathed with clapboard and planed boards 25 x 150 mm. The gazebo is ready and can receive guests!

Hit parade of gazebos

All in openwork
A classic gazebo is a rectangular hexagonal or octagonal structure, usually made of wood. The building will gain special effect if it is decorated with bars. Painted in white, it will look romantic and elegant.

southern charm
A half-open gazebo with a pergola instead of a solid roof, twined with ivy or climbing roses, looks simply amazing. Such a structure evokes thoughts about southern countries and summer holidays. The lattice roof will not provide protection from the rain, but it will save you from the scorching sun.

Cozy country
Country style is close to those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city and dream of a village where time slows down and family traditions regain their meaning. A log cabin can be used as a summer kitchen if you build a stove in it.

Finnish style
A closed gazebo, designed not only for summer time, but also for a cold winter, came to us from Finland. In such buildings it is warm and cozy in any weather. An integral attribute is a table with a grill located in the center of the building.

green roof
A gazebo with a green roof looks like a hobbit's hut and "dissolves" into the landscape almost without a trace.
The device of such a roof is quite a laborious task, but it is possible to use the area of the site for green spaces as efficiently as possible.

Grill gazebo
A gazebo with a brick barbecue oven will be the best place where you can relax with friends on the weekend, enjoying a fragrant barbecue. The main thing is to provide fire protection for wood.
