Is it possible to create something homemade? How to make a jewelry stand with your own hands? I have one fantastic idea. This idea came to me during one of my shopping trips. You have probably also seen beautiful velvet busts and hand models in jewelry boutiques, which show no less beautiful jewelry. So I, looking after a gift, stumbled upon one of the models of hands and stopped. I immediately realized that I want to have the same stand to store my jewelry. You will need:
1 kg of plaster,
Using a drill and a hand saw, make a hole in a circle to fit the glove in.
Smooth out roughness with sanding paper.
Place the glove in the hole, securing the edges with a construction stapler.
Now prepare a mixture of water and gypsum. Use another glove to see how much cast you need. Mix water and gypsum so that you get the consistency of sour cream.
Gently fill the glove with the mixture so that no bubbles remain in the finger area.
Leave for 48 hours.
And in order to pull out the glove, make a few cuts on the glove.

- paints (gouache, acrylic);
- gilding (acrylic, dry bronze, liquid shadows).
Let's start by cutting off a few pieces of wire and assemble the frame, focusing on how trees look in nature. I advise you to bend the branches as fancifully as possible so that each bend is functional, that is, you can hang a pair of earrings on it.
We wrap the frame with teip tape or adhesive tape.
Dilute gypsum with water to the consistency of thick sour cream and pour into a mold lined with cellophane. We insert the frame and wait for the gypsum to completely harden, take out the frame in the gypsum foundation and start working on.
Pour PVA glue into a convenient flat container, and, tearing off small pieces of toilet paper, glue the trunk and branches of the tree with it, keeping the curved shape of the branches.
First, we glue larger pieces on the thick bases of the trunk and branches, gradually moving to smaller ones, pasting thin branches with them.
By folding the paper impregnated with glue into bundles, we form the naturalistic contours of the protrusions of the bark. After the whole tree is done, put it to dry in a warm place for several hours.
Since our frame is wire, that is, bending, and the frozen PVA glue also has plasticity, the tree will be motionless at the base, but will slightly spring at the top and will not break even from heavy decorations. After the tree is completely dry, you can cover it with paints. Acrylic paints are best suited for these purposes, since when dried, the lights form a waterproof film, that is, the product does not need further varnishing. If you use gouache, then after the paint has dried, it is better to varnish the wood. We completely paint the tree with acrylic ocher. We dry.

Sculpting process
The whole process begins, of course, with the modeling of the body of the mannequin. Knead the clay in your hands, after washing your hands. Fashion the torso, neck, waist, hips. Use a wooden stick in modeling to smooth out small wrinkles in the clay, moving it from side to side. Having fashioned two balls for the chest, attach them to the body again with the help of a stick. Make sure that the figure is straight, the shoulders are at the same level. Smooth out unwanted wrinkles with the back of your finger. Be careful not to leave fingerprints on the mannequin. Next, carefully insert the holders instead of hands, and instead of legs, we also screw a stick or a metal twig into the clay, as in my case. You can use different holders that you find, for example, I adapted curls from other unnecessary metal coasters, you can make them from wire or find plastic parts that are suitable in this case. Again, they can be inserted both instead of hands and instead of a head into the mannequin's neck, depending on what shape they are. Now let's take a stand. Let's mold a ball out of clay, put it on polyethylene so that the clay does not stick to the table and mold a round stand. Do not forget to make a hole in the center of the stand with a metal rod, which will be inserted into it later. When the modeling is completed, we proceed to the next stage - boiling the product in water.
Find a pan in which you can freely place the figurine with all the holders ready-made. It is not worth putting the stand on the mannequin yet, we just cook it next to the mannequin in one saucepan. When the water boils, count down the time for 10 minutes and turn off the stove. Drain the water, cool the product, as it is still fragile after cooking, protect it from falling. When everything cools down, insert the mannequin into the stand with an iron rod and start decorating your figure with different elements.
Making a mannequin
To begin, paint all of the jewelry holders and the stand in a single color, such as white or gold, depending on what color you want to make the dress. Variations here can be very different. The stand can be decorated with a fabric flower or a piece of lace.
Now that all the side work is done, it's time to start dressing up. Using satin ribbons of different widths and glue, we form a dress. It is not necessary to use threads and a needle, the main thing is to guess correctly with the width of the ribbons. Put a thinner ribbon around the waist, wider on the skirt, decorate the joints with thin lace, as well as the edges of the skirt. For such crafts, fabrics that do not crumble and hold their shape well, such as tulle, are very suitable. With it, you can make two-three-layer airy skirts. Even one layer of tulle over a satin ribbon looks impressive. If appropriate, decorate the skirt with beads, mini-bows. Bows are usually made from the thinnest ribbons.
