Mother alipia prophecy for the year. Amazing predictions of mother Alipia (from the book "Acquiring the Spirit of the Path")

Without passport

Almost all biographical information about her is only approximate, gleaned from the little that she sometimes told about herself.

The year of her birth is now indicated as 1910. But in some biographies you can find both 1905 and 1908.

Mother Alipia lived her life without a passport and without a registration. She never had her own shelter, safe housing. I did not allow myself to take pictures. This explains such a small number of her images - literally a few. A few more moments of newsreel have survived ...

She is our contemporary. Mother Alipia left earthly life on October 30, 1988. She predicted the Chernobyl disaster, the Filaret split (five years before the event) and times, it seems, of new monstrous trials; war is predicted.

Wanderer

She was born in the Penza province, in the Orthodox Mordovian family of the Avdeevs. At baptism she was given the name of the holy Martyr Agafia, whose icon she carried on her back all her life.

In 1918, the girl miraculously survived: she went out to the neighbors. She returned - her parents were killed. An eight-year-old child, she read the Psalter over their cooled bodies all night ...

She traveled to holy places. Talking about something, mother Alipia called herself in masculine gender: “I was everywhere: in Pochaev, in Pyukhtitsa, in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. I have been to Siberia three times. I went to all the churches, lived for a long time, they accepted me everywhere. " Let us recall that there are thousands of kilometers between the Pukhtitsa Dormition Monastery in Estonia and Siberia ... She said that she had been in prison for a long time: “They pushed me, beat me, interrogated me ...” She was starved ... Usually she was not asked about the details, and here is why: "In the presence of mother there was such a reverent silence and it was so good with her that they were afraid to break this silence." But she told other people the details: “Once she was arrested and put in a common cell. There were many priests in the prison where she was held. Every night 5-6 people were taken away irrevocably. Finally, only three remained in the cell: one priest, his son and mother.

The priest said to his son: "Let's serve a panikhida on our own, today they will take us away by dawn."

They served a panikhida, the father and son buried themselves, and at night they were taken away forever ... ”Matushka Alypia said that the Apostle Peter saved her - he opened the door and led all the guards through the back door, ordered them to go along the sea. She walked, not deviating from the coastline, “without food and water for eleven days. She climbed steep cliffs, broke off, fell, rose, crawled again, tearing her elbows to the bone. She has deep scars on her hands ... ”It is believed that it was at that time that she visited the elder hieroschemamonk Theodosius (Kashin; 1841-1948), who lived in the mountains near Novorossiysk. She said: "I was with Theodosius, I saw Theodosius, I know Theodosius." It is believed that at the same time the miracle worker Theodosius blessed her for the feat of foolishness.

How and where she studied - there is no information. But she read well in Church Slavonic and Russian, sometimes spoke and prayed in Mordovian.

During the war, Agafya Tikhonovna Avdeeva went to forced labor in Germany. Her cell attendant Martha recalled: “Mother told me that when she was at work in Germany, at night she read the Psalter for women who had children or sick old people at home (in their homeland), and took them out behind the barbed wire and they left safely home. Even before the end of the war, mother herself left, crossed the front line and went on foot to Kiev ... "

In the Lavra

In Russia there are no easy ways out of the traps of history. The Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, after the defeat in the 1920s, came to life in the fall of 1941, under the Germans. The Hitlerite authorities opened churches, of course, not out of secret sympathy for historical Russia, but out of the situational conjuncture, wishing to present the population with the advantages of the new world order, opposing it to the Bolshevik attitudes.

In the churches of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, icon lamps were again lit, divine services resumed, attracting surviving devotees of piety who had gone through arrests, exile, and camps. Mother Alipia told about her stay in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra: “I was in the Lavra for 20 years. For three years I was sitting in a hollow, it was cold, the snow was covering, I was hungry, but I endured everything. " Twenty years are precisely the years when the Lavra was opened, from the occupation 1941 to the Khrushchev March 1961.

Agafya Tikhonovna's confessor-mentor was Fr. Kronid (in the world Kondrat Sergeevich Sakun; 1883-1954; since 1945, archimandrite, since 1947 - abbot of the Lavra). In his hour, Fr. Kronides tonsured Agafia into monasticism with the name Alipy - in honor of the Monk Alipy of the Caves.

According to memoirs dating back to 1947, mother Alipia was thin, slender, neatly combed. Her long brown hair was braided around her head in a basket. Everyone called her Lipa, she lived “in a ravine behind the Lavra fence right under the open sky ... Lipa had an unusually deep, clean, warm, affectionate, loving look of light gray eyes that made her young, transforming her into a teenage girl ... , modest clothes, she was always neat, clean. She did not emit any unpleasant smell, which is usually the case from people wandering, spending the night at train stations, not washing for a long time. "

No less amazed those watching her that she lived in a hollow, in which she could not grow up, near which hungry dogs howled on the snowy frosty nights.

Probably, this period belongs to the post-war period, when the one who accepted the passportless mother Alipia risked administratively. She recalled: “When it was very cold, I went into the corridor to the monks to warm up. Someone will pass, give bread, and another will drive away - there is nothing for you, woman, to sit here. But I was not offended by them ... ”In especially severe frosts, some let them warm themselves in the canopy. And then: “Warmed up? Well, go, save yourself "...

"Special Forces"

Yurod is an idiot, a bum, "a miracle in feathers." Who has not met such? And this will not be allowed on the bus, and on the street children will throw a snowball, or even a stone. In this environment, which is very doubtful for a "pure society", among the masses of the mentally ill or, due to the misfortune of degraded people, it is almost indistinguishable from them, an ascetic may live, consciously renouncing the benefits of civilization, possessing the gift of extraordinary love, and maybe miracles - healing. divination.

The famous Kiev priest Fr. Andrei Tkachev, a wonderful preacher and writer, in one of his speeches (intelligibly for a modern person) explained in this way who a fool is for Christ's sake.

Using the analogy with the army of the spiritual army, he called the holy fools "special forces", as it were, a "special unit" among the host of other saints - martyrs, confessors, hermits, hermits ...

First go to Alexey ...

After the closure of the Lavra, Mother Alipia lived where she had to for many years. In 1979, on the eve of the Olympics, a passportless nun was taken to an empty house in the Goloseevsky forest, to an area far from city highways.

Many ascetics of the faith known to us are associated with the monastery, including the Monk Alexy Goloseevsky (Shepelev; 1840-1917), a perspicacious elder, revered by all imperial Russia.

To the grave of Fr. Alexia's mother Alipia sent everyone who came to her: "First, go bow to Alexei, then to me." Or: “Go, there is a priest serving” ...

Miracle worker

Many have commented on her absolute dedication. e tion, extraordinary love and compassion for people.

Those who knew her do not doubt that the spiritual world, invisible to us, was opened to her, that she read in the hearts of people, as in an open book.

Almost everyone remembers that she treated people with ointment, which she herself prepared. This treatment, at times, was so miraculous that others believe that the healing power was not in the ointment itself, but in the prayer of an amazing nun. There is evidence of cures for the most serious ailments. Moreover, miracles are still taking place ...

Everyone remembers her abundant treats. No matter how many people came to her, even three dozen, she fed everyone. Alexey A. says: “At the table, during lunch, she took care of everyone, and when there was not enough space for everyone at the table, she would leave, sit on the board, and say:“ I've already eaten. ” She always put a lot of food in the plates and demanded that everything be eaten. When they left her, she asked if she needed anything on the road. Several times she offered me and my friends money, as if predicting an imminent need for them ... "

Nun L. recalled: “We are leaving church with Mother in a trolley bus, and one woman (fellow traveler) seemed to say to herself:“ This old woman has a lot of money, everyone gives. ” Mother heard and simply replied in a childish way: “They say that chickens are milked, and whoever gives me a pretty penny, I’m taking it to church, I’ll buy candles and put on candles for that.”

She always brought a lot of rolls and bread to the church on the memorial table, bought large candles ...

Once three young men came to her. One was skeptical.

Mother Alipia looked attentively at everyone, and suddenly said to the skeptic: “It is a terrible sin to get married; the soul will go to hell if it does not repent ”. The guy's face changed. It turned out that she exposed the sin of Sodom.

The young man stayed to talk. It is not known whether there was repentance. But a month later he died suddenly.

She said to someone: "You will be lost without a wife." To two young people who, having read the lives of the saints, wanted to leave for the Caucasus, to save themselves in a deserted place, she suddenly said: "Here are the ancient ascetics!" And then she added: "Now is not the time and not for you!" And she tried to stop another young man, who dreamed about the feat of foolishness: "Don't you dare, they will kill." He did not obey, he died.

Aleksey A, who at one time did not even think about spiritual education, once said: “You will graduate from seminary and here you will not be very familiar.” Alexei was surprised and began to argue. Two years later, a seminary was opened in Kiev, he graduated from it and then served as a sexton near Goloseevo, in the Kitaevoy desert.

Five years before her death, she said about the revival of the Holosiivsky monastery. Once I was walking through the monastic ruins, accompanied by the sisters of the Florovsky Monastery, and suddenly exclaimed, as if they could see: "Maidens, look: there will still be a monastery and a service ..." It was hard to believe it. Goloseevskaya hermitage began to revive in 1993. In the same year, the Monk Alexy Goloseevsky was glorified by the Church in the face of saints (on the feast of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir).

The grief is coming

People could not understand her phrase: "It is burning underground, the grief is coming." She probably did not know such words as "reactor" and "radiation accident". She began to talk about the "grief is coming" back in winter, long before the Chernobyl April 26th. And the day before the accident, she walked down the street, crying out prayerfully: “Lord! Have pity on the babies, have pity on the people! " She advised the people who came to her that day: "Close doors and windows tightly, there will be a lot of gas." When the accident happened, they asked: to leave? She said: no. When asked what to do with food, she taught: "Wash, read Our Father and Theotokos, make the sign of the cross and eat and you will be healthy" ...

She more than once publicly spoke negatively about M. Denisenko, at that time the Metropolitan of Kiev. Alexey A. recalled: “When she saw Filaret’s photograph, she said:“ He is not ours. ” We began to explain to Matushka that he was our metropolitan, thinking that she did not know him, but she again firmly repeated: "He is not ours." Then we did not understand the meaning of her words, but now we wonder how many years in advance Mother foresaw everything. "

Once in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, on Demeevka, of which she was a parishioner, during the bishop's service she suddenly exclaimed, foreseeing the future: "Glorious, glorious, but you will die as a peasant." That time she was kicked out of the temple.

Recalls NT: “We are sitting at Mother's place, talking. The stove has long since burned out, and dinner has been cooked. A.R. showed a magazine in which there was a large photograph of M.A. Denisenko. Mother grabbed the magazine, poked it in the eyes with two fingers and shouted: “Oo-oo-foe, how much grief you bring to people, how much evil you can do. The wolf climbed into sheep's clothing! Into his stove, into the stove! " She crumpled up the magazine and threw it into the stove. Those gathered from surprise were confused and sat in silence, listening to the magazine humming in the stove, burning out. Having come to my senses, I asked Mother: "What will happen?" Mother smiled with her wide childish smile and said: "Vladimir will be, Vladimir!" And when a schism occurred in our church, without any doubt and hesitation we followed the one whom Mother had pointed out to us a year and a half before her death and almost five years before the events. "

There is her prophecy about the coming war. “The states will differ in terms of money.

This will not be a war, but the execution of peoples for their rotten state. Dead bodies will lie in mountains, no one will undertake to bury them. Mountains, hills will disintegrate, will be leveled to the ground.

People will run from place to place. There will be many bloodless martyrs who will suffer for the Orthodox Faith ”. “The war will begin against the apostles Peter and Paul. You will lie: there is an arm, there is a leg. This will happen when the corpse is taken out. " A corpse is usually understood as a mausoleum of the deceased. The date “for Peter and Paul,” as it was later understood, was not said about the Day of the First Apostles, which is celebrated on July 12/29. In 1987, according to her calendar, which she called Jerusalem, this day was on the Transfiguration - August 19/6.

I also taught: "When you go to Kiev along Khreshchatyk - pray, because it will fail."

Shine

She knew about the day of her death, warned him ahead of time. Nun F .: "In April 1988, I brought Mother the Church calendar, and she asks:" Look what day it will be on October 30th. " I looked and said: "Sunday". She somehow pointedly repeated: "Sunday". After her death, we realized that then, in April, Mother revealed to us the day of her death - more than six months before her. " She was buried at the Kiev Forest Cemetery, on the site of the Florovsky Monastery. Without a passport and registration - it also seemed like a miracle ...

There are documented cases of healings through prayers to her. At least once in the evening, people saw an extraordinary radiance around her cross.

Mother's relics were raised and transported to Goloseevo on May 18, 2006. On that day, the author of these lines, by a lucky chance, found himself in Goloseevo. The relics were already hidden in the lower limit of the Life-Giving Source temple under construction. And where the eldress's house once stood, near the symbolic grave with a cross, the priest began to serve the requiem. I lifted my head up. In the blue sky of May - high above the cross - a thin solar ring, called by scientists "halo", glittered widely. Has anyone else seen? Everyone prayed, no one looked up. Later I learned that in the morning, when the first requiem was served in the Life-Giving Source, people saw a luminous cross in the sky ...

Especially for the Centenary

Mother Alipia Goloseevskaya prophesied: The war will begin against the apostles Peter and Paul. You will lie: there is an arm, there is a leg. This will happen when the corpse is taken out ”(from the mausoleum). Mother's sagacity was indisputable to all who knew her. A few months before the resumption of the Kiev-Pechersk stronghold, she said: "The lamps are already being lit in the caves."

However, when she was informed about the opening of the Lavra, she said, as she cut it off: "They opened it, but not for joy."

The fate of the world is hidden from people.

Who knows the ways of the Lord? He is the One - the Creator of everything created, in His power to change everything in an instant.

“The Revelation of John the Evangelist” makes it clear that human history is also under the control of the Lord. What exactly and where will happen - it is not useful for people to know. When the King of kings and the Lord of lords appears, we will only be silent before Him.

However, some ascetics for their high life revealed the milestones of historical changes. Mother Alipia was asked what would happen first, hunger or war. “As it is more salvific for people,” was the answer.

"Do not leave Kiev," mother punished, "there will be hunger everywhere, but in Kiev there is bread." And the deeper you plunge into the life of the Kiev ascetics of piety, the more you become convinced: there are so many shrines here that will nourish in difficult times like daily bread! “The Lord will not allow his people to death, he will keep the faithful on one prosphora,” mother prophesied.
Sometimes she told about objects strange and incomprehensible to the human mind.

“Once she described to us the entire end of the world,” recalls L.A. Cherednichenko. - I spoke for about an hour, we listened attentively, but everything fell out of memory, only two or three phrases remained, like a landmark in the darkness.

The war will begin on the apostles Peter and Paul, said the mother. You will lie: there is an arm, there is a leg. This will happen when the corpse is taken out. "

“States will differ in terms of money,” the old woman opened another time.

The war will begin “against Peter and Paul,” in an allegorical sense: a fight against the disciples of Christ, against their teaching. The Day of the First Apostles is celebrated on July 29/12. It would seem that dramatic events should be expected in the summer, but a year before her death, mother Alipia began to live according to one known reckoning. She called this calendar the Jerusalem calendar.

The prophetic factors of time are condensed - the blessed one saw the world in a different scenario.

Particular bewilderment among the admirers was caused by the attitude of mother Alipia to the then-then Metropolitan of Kiev Philaret.

She repeatedly predicted that he would take the temples, that there would be a schism. When "Metropolitan" Filaret served in the Ascension Church, mother Alipia loudly denounced him in front of all the people: "Glorious, glorious, but you will die as a peasant."

She told one nun to convey to all her acquaintances that there would be a schism and the true church would be outraged, but "salvation is only in the canonical Orthodox Church."

A special pain of mother Alipia was the Chernobyl disaster, which during the year before the tragedy agitated her soul and prompted her to intensified prayer. She has repeatedly said that there will be a tragedy.

She called it a fire, said that they would poison the earth, water, air, that it would happen on Holy Week, that it would happen in the Polesie side. She said that "the atom is going to Kiev." With all her heart, she prayed that the Lord would weaken the consequences of the tragedy, but all this had to be.

When the disaster struck, Mother said: "I live by the pains of others." In difficult days for the people, the Lord sent Mother Alipia to end the panic, for consolation and salvation from invisible death.

Mother did not bless me to leave, she urged me to turn to God and cross the sign of the cross, eat everything and not be afraid of anything, trusting in the Lord.

In the mid-80s, two women from Kiev heard from the elder of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra: "Why did you come to me, when you have such a pillar in Goloseev, Kiev, on fire!" Matushka Alipia belongs to the devotees of piety during the sorrowful period in the history of our fatherland, when the depth of the feat of the faithful was in their hearts. She carried her cross in silence, but she revealed what we need to know about her arduous life, about her exploits. How many deeds did she carry: the deed of prayer - from childhood she read the Psalter, until she was very old she knew almost all the Psalms by heart; the feat of pilgrimage - walked many holy places; the feat of confession - 10 years in prison for the Orthodox faith; the feat of pillar-domination - she lived in the hollow of a tree; and, like a crown, the feat of foolishness in Christ. The Spirit of God created a new person in her, and he was affirmed by great gifts: Mother had the gift of insight into other people's thoughts, the gift of revelation about what was happening in the distance and about the future, the gift of healing.

Mother Alipia was a native of Mordovia, her parents were Tikhon and Vassa Avdeev. In Holy Baptism she was named Agathia.
At the age of seven she became an orphan. Such a crumb, and I myself read the Psalter from my parents. From then on, her wandering lot began. In the roar of this century, she heard a quiet voice: "Go along the earthly paths to the Heavenly path." The pilgrim Agathia visited many shrines then, and she saw many saints of God. And I especially fell in love with the shrines of Kiev - the Great Lavra, the third inheritance of the Mother of God on earth. Fierce persecutions hit our land at this time. Ukraine is called "the breadbasket and breadbasket of the holy martyrs" in the "Akathist to the Russian Martyrs". In the south, "near Odessa," as Alipia's mother said, she also had to suffer. She was thrown into a cell with criminals. She told them, "Don't come up!" - and began to pray fervently. And no one dared to approach her. The guard clung to the peephole and froze: the prisoner was standing, crossing herself, and over her head she had a halo.

Many priests languished in dungeons. They were taken for torture without return. There were three left: the old archpriest, his son and Agathia. "In the morning we will not be alive, we will serve a requiem for ourselves." - "And about me," - asked mother. "You will go away," the priest consoled.

There was a torture in that prison called a "machine". The victim was led into a room with two doors. One led to freedom, the other to the basement, it was necessary to choose the right one.

It is not known whether mother overcame the test, whether she pushed the happy door, but she found herself free. Mother considered the Apostle Peter to be the "releaser from the bonds" and especially venerated him all her life.

Shortly before the Great Patriotic War, the wanderer Agathia came to the God-saved city of Kiev. They say that during the occupation she brought many people out of the concentration camp. Small, inconspicuous, she could penetrate there, to whom the entrance would be closed to another, and, apparently, the Apostle Peter himself helped her to enter the dungeons and save people.

During the war, the Caves shrine was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church, and Archimandrite Kronid clothed the servant of God Agathia in a small schema with the name Alipy in honor of the first Russian icon painter. All her life she remained committed to the Pechersky Fathers: "I am a Lavra nun."

The spiritual father blessed the mother to ascend in the hollow of a tree, following the example of the ancient ascetics. At the foot of the nearby caves stood a giant oak tree, in which mother Alipia now settled. Enduring hunger and cold in a tree cave for Christ's sake, she stretched out a living thread to Holy Russia. She had nothing of her own. Father Kronid came and brought crackers in his mantle. Will pour out at the hollow and leave - he was strict, did not give indulgences. If it is difficult, he blessed to read "Alive in help" forty times.

“As it falls asleep with snow, it’s cold, the tooth doesn’t fall on the tooth,” recalls the mother. In severe frosts she was allowed into the Seny by the schema-abbot Agapit. "Warmed up? Now save yourself, go" - and she left. When Archimandrite Kronid reposed in the Lord, Schema-monk Damian blessed the mother to move closer to the people.

Mother Alipia settled in an earthen cave, lived on alms. And then again she was taken to prison - for refusing to work on Easter. The memory of this prison remained a toothless mouth and a bent back. They released mother when they had already dispersed the Pechersk stronghold. Mother Alipy settled on Demeevka (in a quiet area of Kiev, where there was an unclosed church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross). The boys teased her, threw stones, but she endured everything and prayed. And then, with a blessing from above, she moved to the Goloseevsky forest. It is located on the outskirts of Kiev, there were Lavra sketes - hermitages. These places are consecrated with the names of the old maiden Dositheus, who blessed the Monk Seraphim, Blessed Paisius and Theophilos for monasticism. Here the consoling elder, Hieromonk Alexy (Shepelev), as well as Hieroschemamonk Parthenius of Kiev, asceticised. Mother settled in an abandoned dilapidated house and lived there until her death, having neither a registration nor a passport. The police repeatedly tried to "sort out" the mother, but the Lord kept her, and it was not possible to evict her from Goloseev.

At this time, mother Alipia went to serve people in the feat of foolishness. She wore a plush blouse, a children's bonnet or a hat with earflaps, carried a bag of sand on her back, and a large bunch of keys on her chest: the sins of spiritual children that mother took upon herself by hanging a new key as a sign of this.

Mother saved her city, prayerfully protected it from harm, bypassed it, as she performed a procession with the cross. Before the Chernobyl explosion, she shouted for several days: "Father, no fire is needed. Father, why fire? Extinguish for the sake of animals, for the sake of small children." Watered with water: "Girls, the earth is on fire." The sun fell to the west and prayed: "Mother of God, deliver us from the gas."

Wasn't she the righteous person for whose sake the Lord saved Kiev from the radiation cloud, defining a different direction for it? Shortly before the Chernobyl disaster, mother Alipia began to offer Cahors with Pepsi-Cola to the table. The famous Goloseevsky feasts (there were plank tables on the street, gathering ten to fifteen people daily) became, as it were, protection from the destruction spilled in the air. All the treats at the Goloseevskaya ascetic were prayed for. For the eldress it was important who brought the food, whose hands touched the food, through whose heart the offering passed. She did not take it from everyone. "You need to level up your spirit", - it happened, mother would say, kneel down, sing her strong voice "I believe", "Our Father", "Have mercy on me, God." He baptizes the table: "Eat", and she herself lies down on the bench, resting. The portions were blessing huge, and everything had to be eaten without fail. “As much as you can, I can help you so much,” and people with serious illnesses were healed at her table.

Mother accepted everyone: fornicators, liars, robbers, she only denounced the crafty, she could not stand guile. She caught even the shadow of a thought. One woman told me. She went to her mother with her "ascetic husband" with the thought: to ask mother whether to let him go to the monastery, especially since they had no children. She could not ask this question in public, but she thought about it all the time. And so they began to leave, and each mother asked his name. So her husband comes up and calls his name: "Sergius". And mother corrected him: "You are not Sergius, but Sergey." So that woman received an answer to a question she had not asked.

I remember another story: the wife of a priest came to my mother, who had dreamed of a monastery all her life and even before marriage, now that all her children have grown up (and three of them have already become priests), her thoughts about the monastery have returned to her again. And so she went to Kiev to ask Mother Alipia about this. When she and her daughter came to Goloseevskaya hermitage and entered the courtyard, they saw mother Alipia dozing in the courtyard of the house. They began to wait for her to wake up. They waited a long time, they decided to leave, and now, when they had already approached the gate, the old woman suddenly jumped up, blocked the path of her guests, and in front of the one who was choosing a new path of life for herself, she lowered a long pole on the gate - this was a silent response to her questioning: there is no way for her to the monastery. Although so many people received a blessing from Mother Alipia for monasticism, and the sisters of the Florovsky Monastery took turns spending whole days in her shack, and mother called them "relatives."

At that time, Father Roman (Matyushin), the beloved priest, whose penitential chants we listened to with bated breath, also labored in the Lavra. Matushka, meeting her dear guest in her wilderness, called him "twice an Angel". A monk is an angelic order, and a singing monk performs the angelic ministry of singing at the Throne of the Most High. But the enemy of the human race rises up against those who are especially zealous in serving God, and through people annoys them. Mother Alipia predicted to Father Roman: "You will drink a cup and again you will be at the parish." And so it happened: after drinking his cup of bitterness, he again left for the Pskov region. It was Hieromonk Roman who served the first litiya on the repose of her newly departed soul over the grave of mother.

More often than not, people did not even suspect that their relief of the burden fell on their mother. Hugs, kisses, - it would seem, blesses, and she takes their ailment upon herself. "Do you think I'm making ointment? I crucify myself for you," she once admitted. One patient gave Cahors to drink to heal her soul and body, and while she was drinking, she fell unconscious.

Mother gave predictions in parables, in holy foolish deeds, and sometimes explicitly, simply, without allegories - as it is more salutary for someone. Once, in the midst of a feast, I sent a nun into the ravine with a candle to read the Psalter. Then it turned out: at that very hour, her brother was almost killed. A nun, who had previously asceticised in the Gorny monastery, came for advice, should she come back? "You will be higher here," Mother did not bless. Now she is the abbess of one of the oldest Russian monasteries. Servant of God Olga, a psychiatrist, first came to my mother. The hostess showed her where to sit and went out herself. Suddenly they shouted at Olga: "How dare she?" It turns out that she sat down in my mother's place. I got scared and got up. Returning from the courtyard, mother Alipia strictly said: "Why are you standing, sit down where you are told." Everyone understood that this was mother's will. Now this servant of God is pursuing asceticism in Jerusalem, in the Gorny monastery. One woman-singer came to mother's house with her fiancé, and all the time they were sitting at the table, mother pointed at them with her hand and said: "And the girl sings the boy's funeral, and the girl sings the boy's funeral." Soon he drowned in front of her eyes, and she really sang a requiem for him.

Once a kind of cover was removed from mother, and she became different, not a holy fool - a concentrated, sad person. “A confessor is scary,” said mother. “We need to pray for him that the Lord would give him help in the fight against the demons fighting against him and protect him from all evil, because the sins of the father fall on the child. We need to build a spiritual foundation for communication with him. to the faith of the child, the Lord reveals His will for him to the confessor ... "

Like many blessed ones, Mother Alipia was surrounded by animals with whom she talked, whom she pitied. Mother's cats and chickens were all kind of sickly, mortified, sickly, with pustules, with dry paws. "Why are your animals so sick?" - once asked my mother. - "People live prodigally, do incest, everything is reflected in the creatures of the earth."

Shortly before her death, mother Alipia had twelve kittens. Blind, they lay in a box, then they began to grow up, left one by one. Mother rejoiced every time: "He's gone, gone!" Finally she said, "Almost everyone is free." The last one remained, the strongest, who clung to mother most of all. After the death of the old woman, he lay down on her chest, stretched out and died.

A year before her death, mother Alipia began to live according to the one known to her. She called this calendar the Jerusalem calendar. “States will differ in money. It will not be a war, but the execution of peoples for their rotten state,” the old woman prophesied. “The Lord will not allow His people to death, the faithful will be kept on one prosphora. At this time (a year before her death), mother announced: "Everything, girls, I'm leaving you." Those in tears. Mother gathered them on the table and blessed them: "Eat." I counted those present - there were twelve. “Worthy,” the old woman said with pleasure.

Shortly before her death, mother Alipia put a candle in a jar of rice and pulled it out into the hallway. The nun Marina came in - a candle flickers in the dark, it has never happened before. "The light bulb has burnt out," said mother and blessed: "Read the Psalter for your mother." - "What with her?". The old woman did not answer. She was talking about herself. “I am leaving you orphans, others will console you, but you will no longer have your mother,” she said to her sisters before the end.

On Sunday, October 30, 1988, there were especially many people in the Goloseevsky house. Mother sent those who came to the grave of Father Alexy (Shepelev), now glorified as a saint: "Go, bow down, the priest is serving there." Was it not the elder-comforter Goloseevsky himself who gave her parting words for the exodus of her soul?

After the meal, mother lay down. Everyone dispersed, only one married couple was left to clear the table. To the servant of God Marina, mother held out a candle with the order to put tomorrow at the icon of "All Saints": "Just don't light it until morning." She ordered to put bread and honey on the funeral table. "All right, don't come again." She thought - today, it turned out - never ...

At that moment, the belated nun Marina, now nun Sergius, ran onto the porch. Several days before her mother warned her: "Don't go to Vespers on Sunday." She was strict with attending services in the monastery, but she did not dare to disobey the eldress.

Mother Alipia was lying on the board. I was delighted to see Marina: "Wave me a handkerchief, I'm dying!" She thought: an allegory. "Read the Psalter." When Marina came to the words: "My king and my God", mother said: "Enough." At parting, she blessed Marina - she taught an unusually significant blessing. And then the man and woman who were clearing the table looked, and mother lies lifeless with a face shining with Heavenly glory. The Lord called His saint from the vale into endless joy. Her death was quiet, peaceful and not shameful. The couple got into the car and drove to a pay phone. When we returned, a dead kitten stretched out on my mother’s chest, the same, the last of the twelve, warm, uncooled.

In the year of the millennium of the Baptism of Rus, 1988, the blessed eldress Schema-nun Alipia passed away to the Lord. Once she dropped that the Florovsky Monastery would bury her. And so it happened. After the first lithiums, the requiem was taken to the monastery, where a conciliar service was performed in the church. The burial took place on November 2. "As the first snow falls, so bury me." And, indeed, the first snowflakes swirled that day. With the blessing of the abbess of the Florovsky Monastery, Abbess Antonia, the arduous body of the 90-year-old Eldress Alipia was buried in the Florovsky section of the Forest Cemetery.

After the death of mother, her house in the Goloseevsky forest was demolished, but a wondrous miraculous spring appeared in its place. The enemies of mother covered this source completely and hammered the stake, so that it is impossible to pull it out. The nuns of the Florovsky Monastery tried to pull out the stake, but, alas, nothing worked. And suddenly one day a fountain burst three meters up. So, after her death, mother Alipia confirmed to her faithful children that she had found favor with the Lord, and "rivers of living water" poured out to her through prayers.

Blessed Alipia

(Agapia Tikhonovna Avdeeva)

(1910-1988)

Blessed Alipia was born presumably in 1910 in the Penza region in the pious family of Tikhon and Vassa Avdeev. The blessed eldress said that her father was strict, and her mother was very kind, a great hard worker and very neat. Sometimes, she would put all kinds of treats in her apron and tell her to distribute to the poor in their village, especially many gifts were given out by my mother on holidays. When the time came to study, Agapia was sent to school. Alive, fast, quick-witted, she could not resist and prompted everyone. The girl was transferred to another class, and among children one year older than her, Agapia was distinguished by her intelligence and quick wit.

In 1918, Agapia's parents were shot. All night long, the eight-year-old girl herself read the Psalter for the Dead. For some time Agapia lived with her uncle, after studying at school for only two years, she went to "wander" around the holy places ...

During the years of disbelief, she spent 10 years in prison, despite the harsh conditions of detention, tried to observe the fast, and prayed incessantly.

From the memoirs of Mary:

Matushka went through a lot during the period of persecution of the Orthodox: she was arrested and put in a common cell. There were many priests in the prison where she was held. Every night 5 - 6 people were taken away irrevocably. Finally, only three remained in the cell: one priest, his son and Mother. The priest said to his son: "Let's serve a panikhida on our own, today they will take us away by dawn." And he said to Matushka: "And you will come out of here alive today." They served a requiem, the father and son buried themselves, and at night they were taken away forever. Mother was left alone: the door in the cell was quietly opened, the Apostle Peter entered and through the back door led Mother out to the sea. She went without food or water for 11 days. She climbed steep cliffs, broke off, fell, rose, crawled again, tearing her elbows to the bone. But the Lord kept her. She had deep scars on her arms, which she showed me. Perhaps then Matushka visited the Great Jerusalem elder, hieroschemamonk Theodosius, who lived near Novorossiysk in the village of Gorny (the former village of Krymskaya). Mother herself said about this: “I was with Theodosius, I saw Theodosius, I know Theodosius”. It is possible that the elder blessed Mother for the great feat of foolishness.

The old woman often recalled her miraculous deliverance, honored the day of remembrance of the Apostles Peter and Paul, and often prayed at the icon of the Apostles.

During the war, Agapia ended up in forced labor in Germany.

From the memoirs of Martha:

Matushka told me that when she was at work in Germany, she read the Psalter at night for women who have children or sick old people at home, took them out behind the barbed wire and they safely left home. Even before the end of the war, Mother herself left, crossed the front line and went on foot to Kiev.

One day several men overtook her on the road. I began to fervently pray to the Mother of God to protect her. Not far away I saw a stack of straw and ran to him to hide from the bandits. I ran to the haystack, pressed my back to it, and the Mother of God with tears asked not to leave her.

The bandits ran around the haystack, cursing: "But where has she gone, she has nowhere to hide!" They stood and left, and Mother looked at herself and saw that she was all light, all her clothes were white, her hands were white. The Mother of God protected, hid from the bandits, clothed her with heavenly light, because they did not see her.

Mother was literate, she read and wrote well, she knew the entire Psalter by heart. She asked me once: "What year of birth are you?"

1916 - I answered.

And I'm 6 years older than you.

By the providence of God Christ for the sake of the holy fool Agapia was admitted to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, where she lived until its closure. Archimandrite Kronid, when tonsured into monasticism, gave Agapia a new name - Alipia, and blessed him for the feat of pillage. The ascetic spent three years in the hollow of an old tree.

“When it was very cold, I went into the corridor to the monks to warm up. Some will pass, give bread, and the other will drive away. But I was not offended by them, ”the blessed old woman later recalled.

Voluntarily carrying the cross of Christ's foolishness for the sake of, humbly accepting humiliation and insults, courageously enduring hardships, the ascetic acquired humility and meekness, for which she was awarded great gifts from the Lord: insight and the gift of healing through prayer.

From the memoirs of Inna Alexandrovna:

My mother and I returned from evacuation to Kiev. It was in 1947, and they began to go to Father Damian at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra for advice, instructions ... Then my mother pointed out to me a thin, slender woman, neatly combed. Mom said that her name was Lipa, she lives in a ravine behind the Lavra fence right under the open sky, spends her nights without sleep in constant prayer. Lipa had an unusually deep, clean, warm, gentle, loving gaze of light gray eyes. Lipa's spiritual father was the governor of the Lavra, Archimandrite Kronid. According to the recollections of mother Alipia herself: when the service in the church was over, he would come up to her, give her biscuits and say: “Well, he’s warmed up, eat and go and be saved”. She, obedient to her spiritual father, obediently retired to a large tree, climbed into a hollow, in which she could only stand half bent over. When in winter the snow covered so much that it was impossible to get out of the hollow and she did not go to the church, Father Kronid himself made his way to her, brought biscuits in his robes, called out: "You are not frozen?" He left the offering and his unchanging word “save yourself” and went to the Lavra, leaving the ascetic in the care of a long winter night. It was terrifying in a deep ravine, under the very hollow, hungry, stray dogs came and howled, the frost fettered the half-bent motionless body. And only the unceasing prayer of Jesus comforted, strengthened and warmed.

This continued until 1954, when the spiritual father and mentor of Lipa, Archimandrite Kronid, died ...

She loved everyone, pitied, did not take offense at anyone, although many offended her with their lack of understanding of the heavy cross that she took on her fragile shoulders.

In simple, modest clothes, she was always neat and clean. For me, it still remains a mystery: how did Lipa manage to maintain her external purity, beauty and attractiveness without having a roof over her head. Spending three years in the hollow of a large tree for three years, having no food, she never grumbled, did not ask for alms, eating what people themselves gave her.

Father Damian also saw her: "Why are you sitting here under the steps, you are cold, go sleep under Father Andrey's door." Both elders lived in the same corridor and the doors of their cells were never closed from visitors. Father Andrew accepted everyone: he chastised the possessed, healed the sick, helped the poor, fed everyone from the Lavra meal. It was to this threshold that Father Damian sent the orphaned child of Father Kronid.

Many years later, I understood the meaning of this blessing: Lipa should have already approached the threshold of the miraculous elder. Everything was yet to come: the revival of a child who died from a stupor, healing from deadly diseases, casting out demons, extraordinary insight, the grace of the Holy Spirit such that the forces of nature obeyed her, boundless, all-embracing love for people, both good and evil, disinterested generosity.

What else I noticed - Father Damian treated Lipa very warmly and caringly, talked to her as an equal with an equal, as with his co-worker, apparently, he saw in her a saint of God and his follower.

Time passed, human sins multiplied, black clouds were gathering over the Lavra: rumors spread about its closure. Lipa's behavior became strange - she raised her hands to the sky, shouted loudly in her Mordovian language, fell to her knees and cried. (Mother grieved, anticipating the imminent closure of the shrine)

A thunderstorm broke out in March 1961: the brightly shining star of the great shrine rolled immediately. The bells fell silent. The wondrous choir of monks fell silent, no more prayers were heard in the churches, the doors of the cells were closed, the corridors were empty, the lamps went out. The elders dispersed - some for eternity, others persecuted by the authorities.

After the closure of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, blessed Alipia settles in a small house near the Goloseevskaya hermitage. Local residents, who knew about the miracles of healing through the prayers of the righteous woman, came to her in an endless stream for prayer help, advice, and healing.

From the memoirs of Martha:

Mother Alipia observed the fasts very strictly - during the First and Passion Weeks of Great Lent, she ate nothing on Wednesday and Friday every week. She did not go to bed, she prayed all night. Around her neck on a string she wore a large bunch of keys - a kind of chains. Their story is interesting: she told that during the war, being in a German camp, she worked at some factory, said: “I’ll go up to the net at night, cut it and let everyone out, everyone will leave and survive and no one knew where they had gone. ". And for each person she saved, a small and large, white and yellow key was added on the neck. Mother wore this heavy ligament around her neck until her death. A thin, strong lace dug into the body, leaving a deep blue scar.

From all sides of our great Motherland, people were traveling to this fragile blessed lamp: archimandrites and abbots of monasteries, monks and lay people, high leaders and ordinary workers, old and young, young and children, sick, sorrowful and persecuted. During the day, it happened that 50-60 people came to my mother. And mother Alypia accepted everyone with love, although she perfectly saw everyone that he brought in himself: faith, love, curiosity or evil. But in her heart everything fit, to each she knew what and how to say, whom to heal with compote or porridge, and who with ointment or wine. She did not bless her spiritual children to perform surgeries, especially abdominal surgeries.

Mother says to me: "Come tomorrow morning, we will prepare firewood for the winter." At night it rained heavily, it was cold, I began to get ready for my mother, put on clean clothes, new suede boots. I thought that for work I would find something to change into and change into shoes. I came early, but Mother is not at home, the hut and the shed are locked ... And in the forest it is wet, dirty, I carry branches in my new boots and clean clothes, fold them near the hut ... And only at 5 o'clock in the evening she walks tired , carries a basket and a bag on his shoulders. Mother asks me: "And you went to the forest?"

Yes.

Why are your boots and clothes clean?

I looked at my feet, my boots and my clothes were completely clean. As if I hadn't walked in the mud all day and hadn't carried big wet tree branches on my shoulders ...

From the memoirs of Anna K .:

It was an inexhaustible source of miracles and healings that could not be destroyed by life, year or death. In the bent, glorious, wonderful creation of God, inexhaustible miraculous power was manifested, poured out on everyone who came to her with their sorrows and ailments. No one is inconsolable, did not leave her, and, moreover, received spiritual healing. For the first time, a terrible illness brought me to Mother's house. I couldn't eat anything ... I was all dry and blackened, there were two more small children in my arms then. Lacking the strength, I nevertheless with great difficulty reached Mother's house, knocked, immediately she opened the door for me with a smile, saying: "Oh, come in, come in, now you will eat." I remember how shrewdly she looked inside me. She put the frying pan in front of me and Maria, crossed the food and made us eat. I ate with Maria. And this was the first miracle that Mother performed on me. I ate everything and did not feel that I was full. Since then, the blackness from my face began to disappear, I began to eat and recovered. Mom invited me to come to her more often and, thank God, I had somewhere to come. You go to the great eldress, sick, broken, barely alive, and you run back like a newborn person. And sorrows and troubles - everything went by. Truly, God is wondrous in His saints!

Many times, with her prayers, Matushka averted the misfortune that was hanging over me and my family. Everyone knows that Mom treated with ointment, which she herself prepared. Before cooking, she fasted and prayed a lot. She cooked the ointment all night and prayed over the rosary. Leaning over to me, she once said in my ear: "You know, the ointment overeats all cancer cells." It was said in a whisper and serious. I thought: "So this has already been tested, you won't be lost with the ointment." How great was the power of the action not of the ointment itself, but of Mother's prayer, acting through the ointment. Out of her modesty, she did not want people to elevate her actions in miraculous healings, and transferred all her power to the action of the ointment, and with the blessing from above, of course, the ointment was also healing. When people complained of any pains, she said: "Anoint with ointments and it will pass." And it passed. Those who often visited Mother said that she had predicted Chernobyl in 5 years. I visited her 2 weeks before the accident, she looked at the icons and said: "Look how they shine, what a fire!" But what could I see. Two weeks later - an accident. On this day, Mother was dressed all in black and repeated several times: "We live by the pains of others!"

Once I brought Mommy two icons of the Holy Trinity and St. Nicholas
Japanese and she says: “I know him, help, honey, don’t, help ELEVEN, no, don’t.” Tears flooded Mom's face. My foreboding predicted something bad, which awaited me on the 11th. She prayed for a long time, asked him and added: "This is a great saint." And then she added the number 8.11 - the winter was drawing to a close, a thaw came, huge blocks of heavy ice lay on the roofs. My husband was going to work, suddenly, a huge block falls off the roof of a huge house and falls in front of my husband at a distance of one step. Only one moment separated him from the terrible death.

I visited my sick father in the hospital, and it was too late when I returned home. Near my house, someone dropped an empty bottle from the top floor, and it shattered in front of my very nose a few centimeters away - it’s still a moment and it’s hard to imagine what would happen - this happened on the 8th.

Valentina S.E. - the spiritual daughter of blessed Alipia, more than once witnessed the miracles shown by the Lord through the prayers of the elder:

In my presence, a very pleasant-looking woman came to see Mother. It was a windy day, strong gusts bent the trees, the forest hummed and groaned, swaying and bowing under strong gusts of wind. The woman asked: "Mother, where are my parents?" Mother stood in silence, fixing her gaze somewhere upward. The gusts of wind weakened, the trees straightened, and the forest somehow immediately fell into complete silence. Mother continued to stand with her gaze directed to the sky, and I thought: "What power is in her prayers if she begged the Creator to forbid the wind in order to calm and encourage one Christian soul." The woman understood where her parents are, where there is peace and quiet.

Mother understood the language of birds, chickens, cats. We were several people sitting in the garden, and many birds gathered in the trees and on the roof. They chirped and whistled and chirped. Mother spoke to them in a Mordovian language that I did not understand. It was evident from the behavior of the birds that they understood the words of the mother. Sat next to the cat Ohrim. Mother in Russian turned to the birds: "Here he is sitting, but I do not answer, if you fall into his clutches, fly away." The birds rose and flew away ...

For 47 years, Mother has not eaten meat.

Mother cooked borsch. People came, I was sitting on the edge. Mother says to me: "Pour borscht." I poured 11 bowls. 4 more people came, Mother again said to me: "Pour borscht", and I thought to myself: "Will there be enough borscht?" I looked into the pot, and there was half a pot of borscht. I thought that I hadn't noticed how Mother got up and refilled the borscht. I poured 4 plates and I think if more people come, then there won't be enough borscht. Again the three people came, again Mother addresses me: "Pour borscht." This time I already saw for sure that Mother did not get up from her place and did not add borscht. I go up to pour, open the cauldron, and there is exactly half of the borscht, as if I had not poured from it - all half. Then I realized that by the grace of God, Mother's food was multiplying.

I once asked her: "How to be saved?" She replied: "Lord, have mercy!"

From the memoirs of nun F.

I met Mother in 1981. I came to enter the Florovsky Monastery. For 21 weeks, in autumn and winter, my mother was seriously ill. She did not take food, but only drank a little water. After Easter I ate some milk porridge. Before her illness, Mother fed people with what the people themselves brought. And after the illness, until her death, she began to cook and feed people herself. When cooking, she was not allowed to talk, so as not to desecrate food. I cooked borscht and porridge every day. I always prepared food with prayer.

Mother could hear from a distance the one who called her. I became very ill and began to call on Mother for help. Mother said to those who had gathered: “The doctor in Podol is dying,” and she began to pray for me and prayed all night. In the morning I felt better.

She understood the language of animals and birds. A calf came to her, she fed him. One day he came and stood, and my mother said: "My head hurts, here it is, eat bread and it will stop hurting." The calf ate the bread and went into the forest.

According to eyewitnesses, in the dry summer of 1986, the righteous woman fasted and prayed for eleven days, and then told her spiritual children that she “begged for rain”. After this conversation, it started raining heavily on the same day.

For her kindness, many loved the blessed eldress, but there were also ill-wishers who were irritated by the blessed one and her many visitors. The man who lived in the neighborhood repeatedly threatened to destroy the dwelling of the old woman Alipia. Once he persuaded a tractor driver to come and use a bucket to pick up the logs supporting the wall of the dilapidated house. With hands raised to heaven, the eldress prayed, asking for intercession from Saint Nicholas and help. Here is what the spiritual daughter of blessed Alipia told about this event:

The tractor driver hooked a rope on a log under the roof and has already started to drag it with a tractor to destroy the roof. Mother began to pray, all those present began to shout at the tractor driver, exhorting him not to harm Mother. At this time, rain poured down, so strong that it became dark (surprisingly, there was not a cloud in the sky that day). The tractor driver was sitting in the tractor cab, waiting out the rain. But the rain did not stop. So, without destroying anything, the tractor driver drove away. And the house remained unscathed. Then people, with joint efforts, repaired, which collapsed from dilapidation, and Matushka continued to live in her cell. "As long as I am alive, the house will not be destroyed, the Monks of the Caves will not allow it, and after death they will be demolished, and nothing will remain," said Matushka (and this is what happened).

All who knew Mother, she amazed with the gift of healings, the effective power of prayer and clear sagacity. I suffered from severe headaches. Mother gave me a compote to drink and said: "After the Ascension, it will pass." And so it was. After Ascension I stopped suffering from headaches. My father suffered from kidney stones, was in the hospital, they wanted to have an operation for him, but he did not agree and left the hospital. When my father and I came to Mother, she saw him, and said: "Well done, that he left, otherwise they would have stabbed to death." I gave him a compote to drink, and his pain stopped.

Archpriest Vitaly Medved recalls:

Before the 1000th anniversary of the baptism of Rus in the Demiy Church, Mother comes up to me and says loudly: “Christ is Risen! Now you will not be tortured. "

When I was not registered in Kiev, I went to her. She looked at me and said: "Do not be afraid, go, they will register." Indeed, I was soon prescribed.

Matushka helped a lot in court cases: by her prayers, the terms of imprisonment were reduced; wrongly convicts were released. Matushka helped me a lot in the most confusing and incorrectly executed money accounts. Through her prayers, everything was arranged, settled and safely resolved.

She treated people with food prepared by her herself and strawberries, from which she prepared an ointment. Before the explosion in Chernobyl, she predicted: "They will poison people with gas."

From the memoirs of Archpriest Anatoly Gorodinsky:

For the first time we met Mother Alipia in 1974 in the Church of the Ascension on Demievka. It was impossible not to notice her. On the way to church, she always went to the store and bought a lot of bread and rolls. She put all this on the funeral table. And she taught us: "Always have a piece of bread with you." She lived in a small house, in which there was one room and a small corridor, where her chickens and cats, which she always kept, were placed. People came to Matushka for prayer, advice, blessing. We also needed all this. She often blessed us, gave us a lot of sweets. We objected, why do we need so many sweets, and she insisted: "This is for the kids." But we didn't have children for 10 long years. We believed Mother's words, now we are a large family. The Lord sent us joy at Mother's prayers and our requests. Before Chernobyl, Mother was very restless, sending everyone home, she said: "Close doors and windows tightly, there will be a lot of gas." Many asked what to do to leave or stay in Kiev. Mother did not bless anyone to leave, and whoever did not obey, then regretted it, it was even worse there. When asked how to deal with food, she said: "Wash, read our Father and the Mother of God, baptize and eat and wake up well."

From the memoirs of Mary:

Two months before her death, she did not bless anyone else to stay overnight. On Saturday (October 29) she sent for me. She said to me: “Go to our church, light the candles, but don’t light them, let them be there in the morning. Take a requiem and run to the Lavra, don't come to me again. " On Sunday, October 30, after mass, I came. Mother was very weak. She blessed everyone to go to Kitaevo together: “Pray to the saints and pray for me,” predicting the canonization of 5 saints of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Before her death, the eldress asked everyone who came to her for forgiveness, asked them to come to her grave and talk about their troubles and illnesses.

From the memoirs of the eldress's spiritual daughter:

Not long before her death, Mother had many people. Suddenly she told everyone to kneel down and be silent. The doors opened inaudibly and, addressing the newcomers, Mother asked: "Why have they come to see me?" Everyone knelt in reverent silence while Mother conducted a quiet conversation with the newcomers. Who they were and what news they brought to her remained a mystery. She did not open it, but after this visit she began to talk more often about death: “I will die when the first frost will come and the first snow will fall. They'll take me in a car and bury me in the forest. " On October 29, I was at Mother's and cried a lot: "Don't stand and cry, but go and serve it to all the churches." And letters flew to all monasteries asking them to pray for our Mother. Spiritual children even went to Elder N. far to Russia: "... the apple is ripe, it can no longer remain on the tree and must fall," replied the shrewd old man who knew mother only in spirit. On October 30, there was the first severe frost, and in the evening there was a large fluffy snow.

When they were handing out Mother's things, they gave me a pillow. And now, when I have a headache, I lie down on this pillow, and the pain stops.

Kingdom of heaven and eternal memory, our dear mother Alipia, for all your labors that you have carried in your earthly life for all of us sinners!

From the memoirs of Ekaterina Ivanovna Ermolenko:

During the funeral service, a strong fragrance emanated from the body of Mother, the hands were warm, and when they were applied to them, a pleasant fragrance remained on the lips for a long time.

A lot of testimonies have already been collected about the healing of believers through the prayers of the eldress.

Lyudmila testifies: “I baked a biscuit to take it to the grave and burned my hand. A large blister formed, and my arm was in great pain. At the grave, we prayed, had a snack, and when I arrived home, there was nothing on my hand: I didn't feel any blister, not a trace of burns, and I didn't feel any pain. When the healing happened, I did not notice, but saw only the result.

A year later, already in the 2000s-thousandth year, a dense nodule, the size of beans, formed on the first phalanx of the index finger. This build-up made it very difficult to bend the finger. Having already had the experience of healing from a burn, kissing the cross on the grave, I asked: "Mother, my finger hurts!" and with this growth she touched the cross. We prayed. Half an hour later I saw that the growth was gone. Only a reddened trace remains - as a keepsake!

“I have a bump the size of a hazelnut on the bridge of my nose. It was constantly growing and hardening, making it difficult to wear glasses. When Matushka Dionysia was leaving, she gave me a flower from the grave of Mother Alipia. I began to pray to her and apply this flower. Soon the bump disappeared imperceptibly. God bless. " (Nina)

Blessed Eldress Alipia, pray to God for us!

Blessed Alipia was buried at the Forest Cemetery (Kiev).

From a letter from R. B. Alla (2007): “... On the eve of the feast of Peter and Paul, we were informed that the honest remains of Mother Alipia had been transferred from the Forest Cemetery to the Holosiyevskaya Hermitage, a male monastery. The next morning we were at this monastery. After the festive Liturgy, the priests opened the doors under the shelter of the church, where the relics of Mother Alipia were buried. Our joy knew no bounds: the relics were open for worship, and we talked to my mother as if she were alive on all the questions and requests of our acquaintances. After the funeral service, we more than once were honored to venerate the relics of Mother Alipia and put under the shrine all the notes with various requests for prayer help before the Lord. They also collected holy water and wanted to read the akathist on their own, to which the priest advised that it would be better to do it near the chapel. The chapel was erected by spiritual children in the very place where the mother's house was, where she lived in Goloseevo, prayed, received and healed many people. It is 100-200 meters from the monastery. When you walk or go to a monastery, you must pass this chapel.

Documents and certificates about Matushka Alipia are in the Synod under consideration of the question of her canonization, therefore only memorial services are served, and they bless the reading of the akathist at the chapel or in the private house. It was also noted that the decision of the Synod to leave the shrine with the relics open or closed is not known. Therefore, it is the greatest mercy of God that for the spiritual children who knew their mother during her lifetime and those who received prosperous help after her honest death, to kiss the open cancer of their beloved mother.

Matushka Alipia is for Kiev, what Blessed Matrona is for Moscow. Two great old women, two great pillars of Orthodoxy.

Lord, through the prayers of Mother Alipia, save and preserve us! "

With the blessing of the abbess of the Florovsky Monastery, Abbess Antonia, the body of Eldress Alipia was buried in the Florovsky section of the Forest Cemetery. Thousands of people came to the grave of Goloseevskaya eldress at the Forest Cemetery with their troubles and needs. The place of deeds of the blessed nun Alipia, located next to the monastery "Holy Protection Holosiivska Hermitage", also began to enjoy special reverence. After the death of the eldress, the house was destroyed, the spiritual children of the eldress installed a cross in its place. In 2005, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Volodymyr (Sabodan) gave his blessing on this place to build a chapel in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 2006, the brethren of the monastery and the spiritual children of the nun Alipia appealed to the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with a petition to transfer the honest remains of the ascetic to the Goloseevskaya Hermitage monastery, on the territory of which she lived and asceticised for the last nine years of her life and whose revival she had predicted for many years before. Metropolitan Vladimir gave his blessing to transfer the relics of Christ for the sake of the holy fool nun Alipia (Avdeeva) to the holy monastery.

A cross and a chapel in the place where the house of mother Alipia stood.

On May 18, 2006, the brethren of the monastery left for the Forest Cemetery, the abbot of the monastery, Archimandrite Isaac (Andronik), performed a short funeral litiya, after which they began excavations. On the same day, the honest remains of the eldress Alipia were transported to the monastery, here the first memorial service was served in front of them.

During the transfer of the holy relics of the eldress

A white cross meets mother Alipia above the domes in the sky

You returned to your earthly home,

Where the soul found peace

Where the old forest was warmed by prayer.

Rustling with the branches of May foliage,

And he meets his mother,

The monastery is a holy shelter,

Here the birds are singing joyfully

And the angels sing to you in paradise.

(From the song of Valery Malyshev)

Hundreds of people came to worship the recovered relics, pilgrims came from different cities of Ukraine, as well as from Russia and Belarus. Greeting the audience, the rector of the Demiyev Church in particular said that with spiritual vision, Mother Alipia saw over the Holosiivska Hermitage a host of Monks of the Caves and the Guardian Angel of the Church of the Life-Giving Source, destroyed in Soviet times. Currently, documents are being collected for the canonization of the blessed nun Alipia in the face of saints.

On the 30th day of each month, the nun Alipia commemorates the day in the monastery.

The description is based on materials from the book "In the pasture of the Mother of God. Christ for the sake of the holy fool of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Nun Alipia, Memoirs of eyewitnesses."

Prayers to Mother Alipia

Prayer 1

Oh, our venerable mother Alipie! Pour out on us the poor, the weak and the humbled by your unchanging compassion and mercy, at least a small drop of bounty from the Lord of the Lord, take it into your intercession and intercession, from all troubles and fierce diseases of freedom, from our sins, ask for forgiveness and raise us, relaxed, with your prayers , do not allow us, unworthy slaves (names) to perish to the end, wake us a refuge for help, do not leave us inconsolable, but we all glorify the all-holy name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and forever. Amen.

Prayer 2

Oh, great praise to the Church of Christ, wall and consolation of the city of Kiev, venerable mother Alipie! We fall to you and we pray to you - be our vigilant intercessor to Christ God, as if we believe, if you plead with the Man-lover God, everything will be given to you from the sea of His goodness. And as God is loving for mankind, so you, begging us sinners, will not despise our petition, for we ourselves, due to the multitude of our sins, do not have boldness.

Your work, saint, is to intercede for sinners, the work of God is to have mercy on the desperate. Ask, saint, for whatever his needs are:

In the ills of those who are, soon console and heal, as now in a multitude of healing sodelovaeshi - like dumb verbs, blind seeing, with bones damaged from the bed of illness, you restore. You can ask the Lord for everything, saint, if you pray to Him for us.

Tumors do not be fierce. Give quick healing to those suffering from burns, as if you appeared to a child in an aching night, listening to his mother's prayer. You have shown the same great miracle of healing to the whole world.

In the days of these trials, the triumph of iniquity and unrighteousness, offended and unrighteously condemned, imprisoned in dungeons, envy, lies and greed for the sake of the persecuted, seek deliverance from slander and misfortune, as the grace of intercession for one is purely given to you from the Lord.

Bless and unite good marriages. Give a safe permission to mothers giving birth, keeping them and their children from any harm. Hear the warm prayer of parents, grief for the tired children, and their children will pass into the consciousness of truth, avoiding the nets of the evil one, they will find eternal salvation. Accept the prayers for the parents of their grieving children, so that through your prayers they will know the light of Christ's Gospel. Likewise, comfort the fugitive and grant them the fruit of the womb, so that the new true Christians will present to the Lord your blessing and mother's upbringing. For those who require your help in the completion of a Christian marriage, send a companion of their lives, blessed from the Lord, so that the ministry of the small church in a family union will bring with your care to Christ God. Above all, give peace, silence and unhypocritical love, may we be true disciples of Christ.

To those who have surrendered to the ailments of drunkenness and drug addiction and to those who have not had the strength of the spirit, leave this murderous lawlessness, give strength of spirit and enlightenment of the mind, as if you appeared to a person, from drunkenness, accept death to the haves and your blessing who was healed of this ailment.

To the lonely and helpless, send down with your prayers the consolation invisible from the Lord and the knowledge of the true love of Christ, may they lead away, as our friends - the saints and angels, invisibly observe us.

Accept the petitions of the poor and the suffering, and give them unexpected care with your prayers, as if they have a benefactor in their earthly life.

For the faint-hearted, desperate in his life, wake the ambulance comforter, as if you saved your wife, in grief you destroy the conceived and young woman, who was saved from harm in a fall from a height. The same you delivered their souls from the perishing abyss.

Likewise, we pray thee, saint, save you from sudden death, as if thou didst observe the adolescent unharmed, a terrible blow on the way.

In teaching to those who are abiding, pour out motherly help and give an addition of mind, but in the difficult course of their teachings they remain without sorrow.

In the many different everyday affairs, troubles and difficulties, give a quick device and a good ending.

Hear the prayers of those who grieve for those who are deluded, who are outside the saving ark of the Orthodox Church, may the All-Merciful image of the message by destinies save them and lead them to the knowledge of His truth.

They brought down the strength and strength of spirit to the soldiers in the fulfillment of their Godly ministry, may the Lord save them from all evil.

Teach the monastics the right to walk in the path of the Lord, strengthening them in labors and in the humble bearing of your cross, as if you fought for salvation in love for the Lord and His people.

As a bishop and priest, give true standing in the Orthodox faith, so that the flock of Christ is fed faithfully and unhypocritically, rightly ruling and walking unchallenged before the Lord.

The wise leadership of our people is the ruler and the power of our people, but in alliance with the Church our country dwells in peace and silence.

Open to us with your prayers the doors of God's mercy and deliver us from all evil. Grant us to escape the nets of the evil one. Pray, saint, of the Merciful Lord for us who repent, may he forgive us our guilt according to the multitude of His goodness. And even to the end with your prayers, keep us uncondemned, but saved by your intercession and help, we will always send glory, praise, thanksgiving and worship to the One God in the Trinity, the Creator of all. Amen.

… Many could not understand her strange, fragmentary phrases warning of a great disaster: “It is burning underground, grief is coming”, believing that mother did not know such words as “reactor”, “radiation”, “radiation”. It seems, however, that she knew everything perfectly ..

Very few earthly inhabitants reach the narrow gates of close life, where they leave everything earthly and cross the mysterious threshold of Eternity, having cognized truly spiritual life, having comprehended the innermost secrets of being, for, as the Gospel says, “Many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 20 , sixteen).
Knowing this, nun Alipia worked all her life humbly and patiently, in sorrow and self-abasement. The Lord granted her to know the secret secret of prayer, pleasing to Him, and mother knew this generous gift experimentally. Living in the flesh on a sinful earth, in spirit she dwelt in Heaven, already here she bore the enlightened image of God. Sensing this augmented grace, all who looked for healing and admonition came to her with faith in prayerful help. Therefore, despite the desire for solitude, the eldress selflessly took upon herself the difficult feat of fatherly nourishment, realizing how these helpless lambs of Christ's flock need inexhaustible spiritual support so as not to stray from the true path leading to salvation. She had to be in public all the time, admonishing and instructing them.
The blessed gift that the Lord endowed the nun Alipia with was also the gift of foresight of future events. Mother left many predictions, which are carefully preserved by her children, passed from mouth to mouth. Many of them have already come true, some will come true.

One of the most important predictions of the blessed one concerned a great calamity that directly affected the Church: the soul-destroying Philaret schism that took place in 1992. Mother repeatedly publicly denounced the former Primate of our Church Filaret (Denisenko), who at that time was still the Metropolitan of Kiev and whose power seemed unshakable. With an iron hand, he led the Church to destruction, but even pious clergymen, for whom the gross violations of the Statutes that he committed were not a secret, did not dare to think about public condemnation and resignedly endured widespread personnel abuses, the all-powerful Evgenia Rodionova and much more.

Mother, on the other hand, was severely persecuted for her impartial statements, but she still did not stop denouncing. So, the memoirs of many children contain evidence of how the perspicacious eldress reacted to the photograph of Filaret she saw, about which she immediately categorically said: "He is not ours." The people who were next to her, thinking that mother simply did not know the Primate by sight, began persistently explaining to her that this was the Metropolitan, but she repeated again: "He is not ours." It was useless to argue, and many resigned themselves, not understanding the meaning of her words and taking them as one of mother's oddities. When, four years after her death, the Church was shaken by a crushing schism, everything fell into place. It was clear that mother foresaw this mournful event in advance and warned the faithful about it, and in order to reach their hearts, she clothed her protest against the unworthy bishop in a peculiar, sometimes very shocking form.

She repeated her denunciations many times. The parishioners of the Demievsky Church of the Ascension of the Lord remembered for a long time how once, during a magnificent bishop's service in the church, she loudly exclaimed: "Glorious, glorious, but you will die as a peasant." Of course, for her insolence, she was immediately expelled. But this did not in the least frighten the ascetic, and she continued to denounce the unworthy bishop.

So, according to the recollections of the children, who asked not to indicate their names, when she was shown a magazine in which there was a large photograph of Denisenko, mother grabbed this magazine, poked her eyes in the photograph with two fingers and raised her voice: you will bring grief to people, how much evil you will do! The wolf climbed into sheep's clothing! Into his stove, into the stove! " Then she crumpled up the magazine and actually put it in the oven. Those gathered were bewilderedly silent, not knowing how to react to such a thing. Only one of the women nearby, plucking up courage, timidly asked: "What will happen?" Mother smiled affably and said with indescribable childish joy: "Vladimir will be, Vladimir!"

Remembering this significant event during the schism, the children of the mother, without the slightest hesitation or hesitation, followed His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir, whom Mother had pointed out one and a half before her death. Their trust in the blessed eldress was not shamed. And the defrocked Filaret covered himself with indelible shame.

Mother also predicted the coming Chernobyl disaster. Many could not understand her strange, fragmentary phrases warning of a great disaster: "It is burning underground, grief is coming," believing that mother did not know such words as "reactor", "radiation", "radiation". It seems, however, that she knew everything perfectly, for her spirit opened up such heavenly heights, such infernal depths that we will comprehend her words, comprehending their innermost meaning, for more than one decade. And it should be remembered that the Institute for Nuclear Research with a permanently operating reactor, where the popular at that time experiments on fission of the atom were carried out, was in close proximity to the Goloseevsky forest, and it was unlikely that mother remained in the dark about its harmful activities.
She began to talk about the "grief is coming" back in winter, long before the April 26 tragedy. In a subtle dream, she saw how people were thrown into buses and taken out, how dumb cattle perished, fields were covered with deadly dust. It is known that in the early spring of the memorable year, she did not give blessings to children for planting potatoes and vegetables in their private plots. And the day before the accident I walked down the street and cried out prayerfully: “Lord! Have pity on the babies, have pity on the people! "

Then, when it was already impossible to change anything, she took her knapsack and walked around Kiev in a procession, thus begging its inhabitants and protecting them from the destructive effects of radiation. To everyone who came to her in a state of great anxiety that day, she strongly advised: "Close doors and windows tightly, there will be a lot of gas."

After the Chernobyl disaster, many in extreme excitement asked my mother whether it was necessary to leave Kiev, to which she categorically replied: "No, in no case." Raisa, the servant of God, who met with nun Alipia at that time, recalled: “When Chernobyl exploded, we came to her, - to ask for her blessing: we wanted to leave for Russia. And she didn’t bless. “No, you don’t have to leave, they will give you a piece of bread here. They will go here. "
When asked what to do with vegetables and fruits exposed to the harmful effects of radiation, she admonished: "Wash well, read Our Father and Theotokos, make the sign of the cross and eat." Indeed, those who, with faith and prayer, ate radiation-contaminated foods, turned out to be immune to the harmful effects of radiation. Even in Fear Forest, people live and pray, over whom the Lord Himself has stretched out His Right hand.

The formidable predictions of the blessed one about the coming war are passed from mouth to mouth. At the time when they were being made, even the most devoted children of mother could hardly imagine even a hypothetical possibility of such a thing. But everything is changing. Our contemporary reality is so harsh and unpredictable that people have ceased to be surprised at anything. Now it is already so obvious that everything that mother said and that was impossible even to believe is coming true in our time.

Without using sophisticated phrases, she warned us about globalism, as a result of which "people will run from place to place," and that "states will differ in terms of money." And especially mysterious were her statements about the war, the inevitability of which she associated with the widespread decline in morals.

“This will not be a war, but the execution of peoples for their rotten state. Dead bodies will lie in mountains, no one will undertake to bury them. Mountains, hills will disintegrate, will be leveled to the ground ”. One involuntarily recalls the words spoken directly after the Great Patriotic War by St. Theodosius of the Caucasus, with whom the blessed one had communication, that the coming war would be much worse and bloodier than the one experienced.
Speaking about the greed and greed that have taken possession of mankind, mother repeatedly emphasized: "Here you are quarreling, swearing for an apartment, disperse ... And the time will come when there will be a lot of empty apartments, but there will be no one to live in them." It was amazing to hear such revelations from the lips of a homeless wanderer, who did not have her own home all her life.
She also predicted the coming persecution of the Church: "There will be many bloodless martyrs who will suffer for the Orthodox Faith." And everything that could not have been imagined a few years ago came true before our eyes, when schismatics seized Orthodox churches, expelled priests, and beat parishioners. But this shameful phenomenon has acquired a special scope now.
The blessed one also concretized the dates, linking them with one of the great church holidays: “The war will begin on the apostles Peter and Paul,” she said. True, the matushka's chronology is according to her calendar, which she called Jerusalem. Sometimes a phrase was added that this would happen when the corpse was taken out, "which obviously meant burial in the Mausoleum on Red Square.

She also warned about the cruelty and senselessness of this bloody war with her characteristic allegory: "You will lie: there is a hand, there is a leg." How many dead are scattered now in the Donetsk steppes! And the end of the war is still not in sight ...
Mother repeatedly warned: "When you go to Kiev along Khreshchatyk, pray, because it will fail." Needless to say, after the Maidan, this prediction acquired a special, piercing meaning? And if you remember that the land under Khreshchatyk has long been gone (it was dug out during the reconstruction of the square, setting up many fashionable boutiques, hot spots, bank branches underground), then the feeling of being close to the underworld is aggravated ...

Mother also predicted the coming famine, when the earth would not give its fruits. But people were encouraged: "Don't leave Kiev - there will be hunger everywhere, but there is bread in Kiev."

Mother emphasized how important it would be during the years of persecution to have at least a tiny piece of land, and to those who had houses, land, livestock was forbidden to sell, indicating that the economy could still be useful in conditions of survival.
Almost constantly, and several years before her death, the blessed one was especially persistent in predicting the coming revival of the Goloseevsk monastery. The sisters of the Florovsky Monastery clearly remember how she repeatedly said: "Girls, look: there will still be a monastery and a service ..."

It was extremely difficult to believe in this, however, already in 1993, in the devastated Goloseevskaya Hermitage, where no stone was left of its former greatness, services began. At first they took place on the street, then, when the house church was restored, in the temple. Despite enormous difficulties and labor obedience, night services were held at the monastery, to which we repeatedly attended. They served by candlelight and the grace was indescribable. And in the morning, after a short sleep, the brethren dispersed to obedience. In the same year, on the feast of the Great Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the Monk Alexy Goloseevsky was glorified in the face of saints, to whom the blessed eldress prayed incessantly.

She sent many of her children to the Florovsky Monastery, blessing to order a prayer service for the ascetic of piety, nun Elena, who was not yet glorified in those years. “There is a saint nun there,” she said, “she is buried on the territory of the monastery, pray to her.
So Matushka Alypia predicted, back in the now distant time, that the nun Helen would be canonized. And, of course, in this way Mother wanted to hide the power of her own prayers and glorify the saint of God, nun Elena.

Mother did not leave her children in the dark about the day of her death, about which she knew and warned everyone in advance. There are many memories of this. Here is one of them, belonging to nun F.: "In April 1988, I brought Mother the Church calendar, and she asks:" Look what day it will be on October 30th.

But the most amazing thing began after the death of the blessed one. There are many documented cases of healings through prayers to her. Many times people saw in the evening an extraordinary radiance around her cross. One of the inhabitants of the Pochaev Lavra, who wished to remain anonymous, told how he began to be torn at the grave, and many tangled tufts of hair, dried insects and reptiles came out of him, after which he was healed and soon left for Pochaev.

The honest remains of mother were raised and transported to Goloseevo on May 18, 2006, where they rest to this day, being hidden in the lower limit of the Life-Giving Spring temple.
And where the old woman's house once stood, near the symbolic grave with a cross, a slender chapel soared up. Repeatedly on the day of blessed memory, people who came to worship become witnesses of amazing phenomena: the sun "played", spreading its rays around, a multicolored rainbow appeared, a column of fire ascended to the heavens, a thin solar ring, called by scientists "halo", encircled the sky. In the morning, when the first requiem was served in the Life-Giving Spring, people saw a luminous cross in the sky ...

All these are vivid testimonies of the posthumous glory of the blessed eldress.

An endless stream of testimonies of the indisputable spiritual endowment of the blessed one, as the inexhaustible love of grateful children for her. Her desire to pour out this love on others, to give it entirely, without a trace, to everyone who needs it, attracted people "toiling and burdened" to him. And since “light a candle, they do not put it under the vessels, but on a candlestick” (Matthew 5:15), the all-generous Lord revealed a significant number of posthumous testimonies so that his light shone before all people, and, looking at his good deeds, they tirelessly "They glorified our Heavenly Father" (Matthew 5:16).

Her faithful admirers, who knew mother during her lifetime, often say: "Sometimes it seems that mother did not die at all, that she just went on one of her wanderings and will definitely return."

These words so faithfully reflect the thoughts and experiences of the children of mother, that it could not be better. In their hearts and souls for the rest of their lives, the bright appearance of the unforgettable old woman was imprinted. And, remembering to the smallest detail her motherly kindness, which could not be covered even behind external severity, you realize that it is in such people that the grace of God is manifested in its entirety, which warms the people flowing to them.

Everything is seen now in a completely different way:
And Vera rises from childhood dreams,
And the heart cries sweetly in repentance,
And Love awakens to life.
Dawn will rise in the pasture of Hope
And the veil of darkness will dissolve.
Awaken the power of life in the souls of sinners
The holy names of the ascetics.
