Why do ad windows pop up in the browser? Get rid of constantly pop-up annoying ads on your computer

Hello, hello dear subscribers and everyone who first came to my resource on the Internet. The trend today is that profit comes first, and this applies primarily to the global network. Some sites use dirty methods to help promote a particular project.

One of the most striking examples is the Vulcan online casino. Even those users who have nothing to do with gaming services are familiar with it. Advertising on various sites and video recordings was not enough for the Vulcan developers, so they decided to upload a virus to the network, which automatically opens an additional tab in the browser. This method is used by many resources that are not satisfied with honest advertising methods. The good news is that the solution to the problem is suitable for all similar viruses. Perhaps instead of "Vulcan" you have an additional tab with a pornographic character. However, this is not important, since my today's instruction will help to deal with the trouble that has arisen when working at a computer. At the end of the article, you can also watch a video instruction on how to remove a virus with ads.

First, I publish a question that one of my subscribers asked me.

Well, what I think, many of you dear users have come across such advertisements that arise from nowhere and the antivirus cannot remove them. How to deal with this? What you need to know and, most importantly, how to remove the virus that opens the browser with ads yourself, without outside help?

To begin with, I would like to tell you, in order not to waste time getting rid of malicious software, I recommend that you install a high-quality antivirus program in advance that has a web browser protection function. Today, almost all antiviruses are equipped with such a tool, and this also applies to some free options. For a more detailed review about antivirus programs, namely which antivirus is best to install on your computer, laptop, I recommend that you learn from this article of mine:

Vulcan virus and similar malware

I will say right away that this virus does not pose a serious threat at all. Its main task is to constantly display advertisements for various sites that are behind its distribution. From my own perspective, I can say that even a harmless virus can be very annoying. Users spend a lot of time in the browser, which is why malware creators are targeting web browsers. Many believe that the Vulcan virus was developed by the owners of the casino site. In reality, they simply bought or ordered distribution from malware creation specialists. The virus changes the start page of the browser or adds an additional tab where the site promoted by the cybercriminals opens.

Personally, I happened to run into exactly the "Vulcan Casino", but this is far from the only example when an advertisement is opened instead of the browser start page. You can often find promoted sites with low-quality goods and services, the creators of which promise to teach naive users to make hundreds of thousands on the Internet per day. As I said a little earlier, the virus itself is not harmful, but it can direct the user to sites that will automatically download other malicious programs to the computer, the damage from which will be serious. In any case, the uninstallation process is quick and you don't need any additional software.

How to remove a virus that opens a browser with ads

Step-by-step instructions for removing the Volcano virus

I will show the process of removing a virus using the example of the Mozilla Firefox browser. The instructions are also suitable for other browsers, since the scheme for getting rid of a malicious program is the same everywhere. The process is quite simple, so a novice user can also cope with it.

Most likely, you enter your browser through a shortcut on your desktop or taskbar. Click on this shortcut with the right mouse button; in the context menu, select the "Properties" item. Please note that you need to perform these manipulations with the browser, after launching which you are directed to advertise the Vulcan or any other resource. The screenshot below shows these steps:

Here we need to find a column called "Object", all the necessary information is located there. The malicious program replaces the information about the file that launches our browser. This column should contain the following entry:

- for Mozilla Firefox it will be firefox.exe

- for Google Chrome and all its derivatives will be chrome.exe

- for Opera there should be an inscription opera.exe

Choose the browser that suits you and check what is in the "Object" column. The screenshots below show examples with a clean label and a virus. Check with your browser, after which you will know if you have malware or a more serious virus:

If the extension is not .exe, then most likely a virus has appeared in your browser. The malware is designed for beginners who cannot distinguish a fake file from a real one; the virus replaces it with an alternative file with the .bat or .url extension.

So you've found a virus. Now you need to click on the "File Location" button, which is in the same window. After that, you will be sent to the folder with the browser or to another folder where the fake file is located. To identify a spy, click on the "View" tab, and then check the box next to "File name extensions". Found a .bat or .url? Great, now we delete it using the key combination "Shift + Del" - this is a permanent deletion. It is not recommended to put such a file in the trash can. I also recommend to your attention to read:

There is a chance that the folder will contain several fake shortcuts with the extension .url or .bat - remove them all. Before deleting a shortcut, you need to check again what extension its name ends with. A clean file has the extension .exe.

The main part of the work regarding today's question is how to remove a virus that opens a browser with ads, we can say that we have successfully completed it, now you need to remove the shortcut from the desktop or taskbar from which you previously launched the browser. If the label is present in two places at once, we remove it from each. Now you need to send the real browser shortcut to the desktop, in my case it is Mozilla Firefox. Go to the folder with the browser and create a shortcut, for this you need to right-click on the main file and select the "Create shortcut" button in the context menu.

You can also create a shortcut in another way. We click on the free area of the desktop with the right mouse button and select the item "Create a new shortcut", the system will ask you to indicate the path to the file for which the shortcut is created. Below I have listed the default file locations for browsers:

- for Mozilla Firefox you need to specify the following path: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ firefox.exe

- as for Google Chrome and its modifications, for example Yandex Browser, here the path will be: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe

- for Opera, the following location of the main file is indicated: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Opera \ opera.exe

Choose the browser you need and copy the path. In practice, it looks like this:

You can also specify the location of the file using the "Browse" button. It remains to check the result. After the work done, the automatic launch of a site advertising an online casino or other resource must be disabled. Most often, the instructions described above will help you get rid of such a site. After completing the above steps, it is recommended to scan the entire computer for viruses as a preventive measure. Here is a detailed instruction for you:

So, completing today's material - how to remove a virus that opens a browser with ads, I will finish. As I promised at the beginning of today's article, I am attaching the following video to you:

I hope the material was useful and you have safely got rid of the annoying virus. Finally, I would like to recommend that you make sure that the web protection of your computer is always in effect, since there are a lot of viruses on the Internet now, and the malicious file described in this article is the most harmless of them.

The most necessary, most commonly used programs on a computer / laptop are various browsers. Through them, the user enters the Internet, receives, downloads information, distributes, sends to other users. Therefore, viruses have appeared that infect exactly the browsers, without affecting other programs. Antivirus programs often do not notice such viruses, meanwhile, the user receives a lot of advertisements, pop-up banners because of them, the OS slows down, transitions to the desired site are blocked, and redirects to other sites take place. These and other problems associated with browser viruses can be fixed by clearing the Yandex browser, Google Chrome, IE and others. Let's take a look at what an adware virus is in browsers, how to remove it safely and effectively.

There are many of them, let's name the most common.

  • The appearance of intrusive advertising banners, teasers, links with offers to sell or buy. Moreover, advertising appears on the pages of sites where it did not exist before.
  • There are requests for confirmation of some information with advice, requests to send SMS to short numbers on a variety of sites, including popular ones (the virus replaces the site address).
  • The appearance of many windows with messages about the imminent blocking.
  • Exit windows with a message about the need to check and install a new flash player.
  • Opening various erotic pictures, videos in the browser.
  • Tabs open randomly, windows in the browser, often imperceptibly, you can see the tab only after closing the main browser window.

Infection routes

  • Typically, infection occurs when downloading programs using installer files with the .exe extension. By running the installer, you see an offer to install the program itself or download it, at the same time you get several modules, add-ons.
  • Some programs have an adware module embedded in them, add-ons are offered - this is how an adware virus can get to you.
  • Viruses get caught when visiting dubious sites, usually erotic, phishing. Sometimes links come through mailing lists, in social networks from complete strangers.

Antivirus programs do not guarantee 100% protection; nevertheless, in the absence of them, the risk increases many times over. By constantly updating them and the OS itself, you increase protection against all kinds of virus attacks.

Remove Browser Virus

If you have caught an adware virus in your browser, how can you remove it? To a large extent, your actions depend on the specific virus that got into the browser. However, there are universal methods to help in such situations. We offer you step-by-step instructions, we advise you to do everything in the specified order.

Checking with an antivirus program

Of course, antivirus programs are unlikely to help you get rid of browser viruses, but the presence of symptoms indicates that another virus may have entered the system, therefore it is recommended to first clean up using a standard full scan with your existing antivirus.

Checking browser add-ons

Open Yandex browser, Google Chrome, go to add-ons. (“Tools” - “Add-ons). See if there are any suspicious ones that were not installed by you. If you see strangers, delete them.

On Firefox and Opera browsers, press Ctrl + Shift + A, then go through Tools to Add-ons.

Application verification

If you see suspicious programs in the list that appears, remove them.

Checking with utilities

As mentioned above, antivirus scanners do not find all teasers, advertising junk that have gotten to the computer. If you have a virus advertising in your browser, how to remove it, because constant intrusive advertising interferes with your work on the browser?

It is better to use two special utilities for checking. We recommend checking with both utilities, they will clean your device effectively, ads will be removed, you will be surprised how much junk there is on your computer / laptop. Download utilities from the developer's site, install, scan your device with them.

The utility will help solve the issue of how to remove the virus from the Google Chrome browser and from many other browsers. AdwCleaner will quickly scan your browser for suspicious, malicious scripts, applications, help you eliminate it, and you can also clean up ad junk, files, shortcuts, and the system registry. Supports different browsers: IE, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Yandex.

Malwarebytes

Programs that clean up junk from a computer / laptop. Allows you to scan the device in different modes. There is paid content, but the free version is enough for a full check.

Checking the hosts file

Some viruses replace the hosts file by writing lines in their version of the file that change your connection to sites. As a result, when you open a popular site, you get to a scam site, made by analogy, but offering you to send an SMS to a short number to confirm any information, they offer a subscription. When you send an SMS, money is withdrawn from your phone.

  • The hosts file is located at the following location: C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc.

  • This file can be restored to its original form in different ways. The most effective is cleaning in AVZ antivirus. The same antivirus helps to clean the device from various Trojans, mail worms and other "garbage".
  • Having opened the program, go to the "File" menu, go to "System Restore".

  • After seeing the list for recovery, find the line "Clearing the hosts file", tick the box, click "Run".

  • The file will be restored within 10 seconds.

If AVZ antivirus does not work on your device (incompatible) or it is not possible to download it, you can restore the hosts using Notepad.

  • Open "Notepad" with administrator rights, to do this, open the "Run" window by pressing Win + R, enter notepad in the line, press Enter.
  • In notepad go to "File" - "Open".
  • Enter the above path to the hosts file.
  • When the folder opens, enter the name hosts in the line and click "Open".
  • Delete all entries below line 127.0.0.1.

Be sure to scroll down the entire file to make sure nothing is written below this line.

Checking browser shortcuts

The virus can write malicious commands into the browser shortcut. To check, click on the RMB shortcut, go to "Properties".

See how the browser is written in the "Object" line. The entry should look like this: C: \ ProgramFiles (x86) \ MozillaFirefox \ firefox.exe.

If, instead of program files, the address leads to Documents and Settings, at the end you see a strange entry instead of the browser executable, then the shortcut is damaged by a virus. Delete the shortcut, create a new one.

Yandex.

Some browsers have their own "chips", features. Let's consider how to remove a virus from the Yandex browser. We recommend two ways.

  • The most effective way is to uninstall Yandex Browser and then reinstall it again.
  • In the browser go to "Tools" - "Settings".

  • Next select "JavaScript Settings". Go to "JavaScript Settings" or to the user files folder. Empty all contents of the folder.

IE

Open Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" - "Settings" - "Toolbar". Turn off all applications one by one, restarting the browser each time until the ad virus disappears. After removing the virus, re-enable the required applications.

Browser infection prevention

  • Install a modern antivirus program on your device, update it regularly.
  • Update your OS.
  • Do not download programs, files from suspicious sites.
  • If the program you are downloading weighs less than 1 MB, it means that you are not downloading the program itself, but the bootloader, which will bring you a lot of additional "garbage". Download programs, utilities only from official sites.
  • Check your computer regularly with the programs listed above.
  • Ignore offers to see photos, send SMS, do not follow links received from strangers.

Today we will touch on the very hot topic of mobile viruses and banner ads that they cause. Now the reality is that mobile malware is becoming more dangerous for the user, and the number of their attacks is constantly growing. We will tell you what to do if an advertisement constantly pops up on the whole screen, and the phone itself signals about threats.

Reasons for the appearance of advertising

It should be noted right away that the emergence of banners can be provoked not only by viruses. Here are the main sources that may be responsible for this:

  1. Quite official apps that you installed yourself. Developers need to make money, so they build in whatever monetization they can. Of course, this case does not apply to popular messengers (Vkontakte, FaceBook, Viber), Google products, and other popular programs. Here it is worth talking about various launchers, vpn services, games, media players, etc. These programs often run in the background and have many resolutions, which causes the appearance of banners on the full screen. Most often, there is no such thing in versions with donation.
  1. Viruses. You can talk about them forever, but the essence is already clear. Trojans and worms are dangerous not only with pop-up advertisements, but also by intercepting personal data, phone books and design. Removing such threats is not always easy, since they have hidden downloaders that will download the malware again.
  2. Firmware. This case can be attributed to cheap Chinese smartphones, the flow of which is only increasing. In them, developers sewn not only their "proprietary" applications, but also such advertising, which, by the way, does not always appear, but when certain options or programs are launched.

How to remove pop-up ads from your phone

So, to remove any pop-ups, you need to take a few simple steps. In any case, start from the situation with your Android and its version, since in later versions of Android (5.0, 6.0, 7.0) viruses act differently and the principle of their removal differs from the same 4.0. Here's what you should check first:

  1. Check the list third party applications... Remove any unnecessary ones that you are not using. Empty the Download folder.
  2. If you actively use programs / games, then it is better to reinstall them by downloading again from official sources (Play Market).
  3. Check administration list, in which a viral process can be specified. We go into the settings: "Safety""Administration"(the path may differ slightly on different phones). Uncheck the checkboxes there from third-party programs, if they are in the list. Administrator rights give the virus the right to run in the background and launch its own processes at any time.

  4. Download the popular mobile antivirus... Users rate the utilities well: Dr.Web, ESET, AVG, Kaspersky... Scan your device.
  5. Very often, viruses are downloaded after deletion again due to the bootloader, which is hidden in the system. For example, Kaspersky shows the path to the infected file, so dig there. Most often, you need to browse the “Android / data / app /…” folder. The loader can also be hidden in the .JM folder - it needs to be cleaned or replaced by creating a txt file named .JM on the computer, and then replaced with the corresponding one in the phone.
  6. For a deeper cleaning, I recommend giving the antivirus administrator rights, or scan in safe mode.
  7. Review the option carefully "Permissions" on your phone. In the latest versions of the OS, it is located directly in the Settings. Study there "Autostart"... Punch through everything unknown to you in the search and, if suspicions are confirmed, disable all accesses. This must be done, because in the latest Androids, everything always asks for permission. Perhaps you have clicked the unnecessary "Allow" somewhere.
  8. If you have identified a process that calls banners, but cannot remove it, try using programs like My Android Tools or Titanium BackUp... Attention, they require root! With their help, disable all activities for the infected application and freeze it. Disable access to the network for the program through the built-in anti-virus firewall (Dr.Web has one for sure).

  9. Install special ad blockers on your phone: Adguard, or a special firewall - Mobiwol: Firewall without root... They are easy to use. The main disadvantage: blocking the display of banners, the source itself is not always detected. Application AirPuSh Detector, in theory, should allow you to find this reason, but it works every other time.
  10. In some cases, resetting the option from Google - "Advertising Personalization" helps. Read more about this in our article on.

  11. The last option remains factory reset... It can be done through the standard menu, or by entering the Recovery mode, which, by the way, is a deeper and lower-level method.

Conclusion

All of the above cleanups should find and remove processes that cause ads to appear all the time. I have given general recommendations, which may differ slightly depending on the phone model and the preinstalled OS version. I didn’t touch on the theme of the firmware, because here you need to look at a specific model. But if you have such suspicions, write to the developer support with an explanation of the problem. I also want to remind you that after removing all threats, be sure to check the lists of your subscriptions to mobile content in your operator's personal account. If you still have questions, or if you have your own real method of struggle - write in the comments!

Popular Pages

If you are faced with the problem of permanent redirection to questionable websites, then there is a possibility that you have contracted a redirect virus or Google Redirect Virus (redirect virus).

The redirect virus targets Google and other search engines to redirect the user to fake and other infected websites.

In most cases, the redirected pages contain many advertisements. These ads usually convince users to pay for something or give out their bank details. The main function of such viruses, or browser hijackers, is to track user actions and hack their data. Thus, the redirect virus is quite dangerous.

If your browser opens by itself with ads, then this is also the work of malware. As in the first, and in the second case, these are AdWare - programs that display unwanted advertisements. We will talk about how to get rid of this problem, as well as the redirect virus below.

If your browser starts itself, opening sites with advertisements or an error page, then this is the work of malware. This problem is terrible in that it can persist even after you remove the malware. The fact is that even after removing the cause of the problem, the consequences of the work of the malware may remain, since it modifies the registry and the Windows task scheduler, making entries in the startup sections and creating tasks. Read how to solve this problem below.

The browser starts itself and a website with ads opens. Solution

If you do not want your browser to live its own life, constantly opening an unnecessary site, you must delete the system tasks - the original source of the problem. To solve it, follow the step-by-step instructions below:

  1. Using the keyboard shortcut "Win + R", open the "Run" window. In this window paste "taskschd.msc". Click "OK" to continue.

  2. In the new window that appears, click on the Task Scheduler Library, as in the example below.

  3. You need to find tasks that are to blame for the fact that your browser lives on its own. The names of the tasks do not say anything, since the malware is perfectly camouflaged and cannot be detected in this way. A distinctive feature of malicious tasks is their launch once every few minutes. You can select a task and go to the Triggers tab to see the repetition rate.

  4. If you want to know what triggers the task, go to the Actions tab. Malicious programs launch websites using commands.

  5. Disable any questionable tasks that aroused your suspicions. To do this, click on the task and click "Disable" (do not delete if you are not completely sure about the harmfulness of the task).

Check your browser if the problem is gone or not.

You can remove the redirect virus using an anti-virus utility. This could be Kaspersky, Malwarebytes Anti Malware, or any other antivirus program you can trust. Such tools allow you to remove the virus along with all malicious files and unwanted programs. In our example, we will use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

  1. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware antivirus software and install it on your computer following the instructions during the installation process.

  2. Open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. You will find yourself on the main page.

  3. Go to settings (bottom left) and then enable the "Scan" option for rootkits. To do this, click the switch so that it turns green.

  4. Now that you have enabled rootkit scanning, click the Scan button.

  5. Make sure Threat Scan is selected and then click the Start Scan button. If an update is available for Malwarebytes, it will automatically download and install it before performing a scan.

  6. Wait for the scan to finish. When it is over, you will see a screen with all found malware, adware, etc.

  7. Click on "Remove Selected". Anti-Virus will delete all selected files and add them to quarantine.

On a note! When deleting files, the program may require a reboot (to remove some of them). If you see a notification that a restart is required, restart your computer. If you don't want to reboot, you can turn it off and on again. After deleting the malicious files, close the program.

Any other antivirus program works the same way. First, there is a scan, and then you remove malicious files and viruses, if they were found. In addition, this method will not only help get rid of viruses and threats, but will also protect your computer in the future, since an antivirus program must be on every computer. If it is not there, then the computer is not protected, and, therefore, be at risk.

Video - Brother opens advertisements by himself, tabs with advertisements. Solution

Advertising "pours" on us from everywhere, from the radio receiver, from TV, from street billboards, and it is not surprising that most people want to remove ads at least from their browser in their computer or phone. Today we will help you remove all ads from browsers on your digital devices.

“Advertising is the engine of trade,” said one of the founders of the advertising business, Ludovic Metzel, and he was right. With the help of advertising, potential buyers from advertising learn about new products and services offered to them. Initially, advertisements were printed in various paper editions: advertising booklets, leaflets, on the pages of magazines and newspapers. When radio, television and a little later the Internet appeared, advertising conquered this space too. Now, when we open any site, we see ads and this is normal. After all, sites are created in order to make money, and advertising is an additional income that the advertiser pays for promoting their services.

There are also completely different situations when, by opening a particular browser, without having gone to the desired site, you see an advertising banner, an unknown site opens, or when you go to the site you need, the browser redirects you to content unknown to you. Why did this problem occur? Often, downloading some free content, the user can also receive software with embedded advertising as a surprise. This is the sin of unscrupulous software developers: extensions and applications for browsers, programs for PCs, and so on. It's kind of a fee for free software. “Why, then, does the antivirus program not notice someone else's software? ": - you ask. It's simple: by downloading the program, you are giving the “green light” to this, and besides, the developers have thought about how to bypass the protection on the computer. What to do and how to deal with advertising in the browser for each separately, we will consider below.

If the advertisement has already appeared, then we start cleaning it in this web browser by analyzing your actions a day or two before the advertisement appears. You need to determine what programs or applications you have downloaded from the Internet recently. This can be viewed in the "Downloads" folder and by removing software one by one, we achieve until the advertisement stops appearing. It happens that such actions will not be enough, then we use more effective levers of influence - special programs and utilities:

  • Dr.Web Curetlt.

You can fight advertising in the Internet browser and using the methods built into it. Open the Internet browser menu, select "Settings" - "Show advanced settings" - "Privacy protection" and here click "Block pop-up windows on all sites." They also fight against adware in web browsers using special extensions for them - ad blockers: adquard, AdBlock Plus, uBlock and others. If it is impossible to erase an ad virus from the browser, then simply delete it (the browser) from the computer.

Virus, adware gets into Google Chrome in the same way as another web browser - with programs downloaded to the Internet, so the methods for removing it are about the same, with minor changes. Let's now look at how to remove ads in this browser? The first thing we do is check it for the presence of extraneous malware. To do this, hover the mouse over the browser icon and open its "Properties" click on "Shortcut" in the "Object" label should be "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe" If somehow otherwise , then open the control panel, find the “My Computer” folder, find the “User” folder and see if a new “Temp” folder has appeared and if it exists, delete its contents.
You can also remove ads using the tools built into the browser. You need to click the settings button at the top of the browser interface and go to them. Then select “Personal data” and open the “Content settings” window, select the entry “Pop-ups”, press the button “Block pop-ups on all sites” and then “Finish”.

And how to remove ads in the browser if you are poorly versed in the settings of your computer? If so, you need to install plugins in your web browser - ad blockers or programs I have provided for Yandex. It is better to do this from the Google Chrome store. Right-click on the browser settings, in the window select “Additional tools” - “Extensions”, go down to the bottom of this page and open the “More extensions” tab. On the store page, in the search, enter the name of one of the listed anti-advertising extensions, select the desired one and install it into the browser.

Mozila, like the two browsers above, has built-in anti-ad tools. To use them, you need to open it, select “Settings” - “Content” in the window and uncheck “Use Java Script” and put it in the line “Block pop-up windows” and click OK.

You can remove ads in this web browser using extensions. It is better to install them from trusted developers. You need to open the settings window, select "Add-ons" and write "Advertising" in the search box, select and install the extension to this Internet browser.

As with the frefox web browser, you need to prohibit the use of Java Script and open unsolicited sites. Go to the Opera menu and open them, select "Tools" - "General settings" and set a check mark on "Block content" and then go to "Advanced" - "Content" and uncheck "Enable animation" and "Enable Java Script" ...

How to remove pop-up ads in your browser

All methods described above are suitable for any browser. It is necessary to disable pop-ups in the browser settings and install special plugins to block ads. There is also a more universal tool for removing ads in the browser forever - you need to download any software only from trusted resources.

The simplest solution to the problem of advertising on YouTube is to enter this command into the browser console: = “VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE = oKckVSqvaGw; path = /; domain = .youtube.com ";. reload (); when visiting this video hosting site. To open the console, you need to simultaneously press the Crl + Shift + J keys and write this command to the console line, and then press the Enter button.

What to do if the browser with ads opens by itself

If you have this trouble, it means that a virus has entered your computer and you need to remove it. To find it open Task Scheduler Start - Control Panel - Administrative Tools. In the Task Scheduler, open its Library. We are looking for a suspicious file and delete it by hovering over it, and then in the right window, click Delete, you can also disable it for a while.

How to remove ads for volcano (and other casinos) in the browser

How to remove ads in the browser on Android

, AdBlock Plus, uBlock, etc. There are also better programs in the fight against adware: Ad Muncher, AdwCleaner, etc. Such programs block ad pop-up windows, prevent ad viruses from entering the OS and save traffic. The choice is yours. I use two plugins in my practice: Adblock Plus and Adquard and now it is completely devoid of ads.

If all the methods described above did not help, you will need to reinstall the operating system.
