How to make a globe with your own hands out of paper. Workshop on making a globe Paper globe diagram

Do you love geography or are you dreaming of going on a trip around the world? We suggest making a globe with your own hands using the papier-mâché technique. The history of this technique is rooted in one of the most romantic countries - France. They used papier-mâché at first for making dolls, and the technique was widely used at the end of the 17th century. The assortment of products using the papier-mâché technique has become stunning: frames, boxes, toys and even furniture. At the moment, there are three techniques for making items with your own hands from papier-mâché, one of which you can master from this article.

Materials for making crafts a globe:

- a balloon made of dense rubber;

- newspapers;

- acrylic paints;

- cling film;

- PVA glue;

- scissors;

- a simple pencil;

- a sheet of cardboard.

Stages of work on the manufacture of a papier-mâché globe:

1) Inflate the balloon to the desired size. We tie it well so that it does not deflate.

2) We wrap the ball with cling film.

3) We cut newspapers or pages of old books into strips.

4) We put the balloon on the bowl to make it easier to paste over the surface.

5) Then we coat the prepared ball with glue and apply strips from newspapers. So we glue the entire surface. To make the globe durable, glue the newspapers in several layers.

6) Drying process. The paper can dry in half a day, but it is best to leave the ball on for a longer time.

7) We make a cone from a sheet of cardboard and glue its edges so that it does not unwind. This will be a globe stand.

8) When the workpiece is dry, draw on it the contours of the continents with a pencil.

9) Now we start coloring. Try to paint in several layers, too, so that the globe becomes saturated in shades. In order to convey naturalness to the globe, remember the depth of the oceans and seas, forests and mountains are always darker. Do not forget to let each layer of paint dry. You can also decorate the stand.

10) It remains to fix the finished globe on the cone. The tip can be cut or hidden by gluing the ball onto the cone.

Craft a globe with your own hands ready! Using the example of making a globe, you can make sure that the papier-mâché technique is simple and safe. Now you can visually help your child to master geography and study the structure of our unique planet. This craft will be a good and sought-after gift for your beloved teacher to school, or simply will be a decoration of the office.

Perhaps such an original paper globe can be useful not only for schoolchildren to teach them geography, but also for decorating the interior with unusual paper crafts, it is ideal. And the main thing is that you can make it yourself from paper by simply downloading the globe diagram.

And such an interesting craft - a paper globe was developed by a designer from France Joachim Robert and laid out for general use. Now anyone can download the diagram of this globe, print it on paper, cut it out and assemble it according to the diagram. And how to make such a globe out of paper, we will show in today's post.

How to make a paper globe

First and print it on a printer. By the way, you can print it on colored paper for printers - make a craft of any color.

Then we take and cut everything along the lines. And in order to better bend the parts, the author makes a scoring with an ordinary ballpoint pen along a ruler at the folds. That is, he simply presses the pen along the ruler at the folds - thereby forming a groove along which it will be easier to evenly bend the paper.

The entire map on the globe is attached by an internal frame. Octagonal parts with three horizontal lines need to be cut, cut into the bottom of the hole along the inner three lines and bend in half along the dotted line.

Cut out the remaining three octagons, cut through all the lines along the perimeter. And then we connect all the parts into the made slots as shown in the figure. We connect all folded octagons with three, placing the largest one in the center and the smaller ones on the sides, filling the entire perimeter.

Then just insert the details with the map into the folded parts of the octagons as shown in the photo.

Collect carefully in accordance with the terrain, although there are all identification marks on the diagram - pay attention to them.

Making a globe with your own hands using the "Gossamer" technique. Master Class

The master class is designed for children of secondary school age, as well as their parents and teachers.

Every year, on the first Saturday in October, we celebrate such a wonderful holiday as Teacher's Day. And every year the same question arises: "What gift to present to your beloved teacher?" Every child wants to please his teacher with something special. Children love to create gifts for their teachers with their own hands. And it is right! Someone will write a verse, someone will draw a still life, and someone will make a postcard with tender wishes. And for those who have not been able to decide which gift is better to make, we present our master - class on making a globe with your own hands, using the "Web" technique. First, let's remember what a globe is?

The ball on the stand is a miracle

Colorful and beautiful.

You can't count all the colors,

What is on the ball.

There are mountains and seas there,

The ball is magic, they say

Oceans and forests

These are the miracles!

And there are many other miracles

I've seen the ball.

For example, if you want,

You can turn the ball!

On a magic ball

We all have our own home,

Each has a route.

The ball is called GLOBE.

So that you can imagine

The globe is a copy of the earth!

Well, now I propose to proceed directly to the manufacture of our miracle gift.

For this we will need : crepe paper (blue, green), velvet colored paper, threads (blue, blue, green), sour cream cup, ball, Crystal glue, PVA glue, skewers 6 pcs., alabaster, cotton pad 2 pcs. , button 2 pcs., synthetic winterizer.

To make the "body" of our globe, we need PVA glue, an inflated ball (medium size), a needle and threads of three colors. We thread a thread into the needle (first blue, then blue and green), pierce a bottle of glue, and after stretching the threads through it, we begin to wrap our ball (previously greased with petroleum jelly or any other cream).

Then you need to let our "ball" dry thoroughly.

While it dries, we will start making a mount for our globe. To do this, we will take a wire and form it into a frame of the shape and size we need. And then we wrap it tightly with woolen thread.

Our base is ready, which means it's time to make an "axis" around which everything will revolve. To do this, we need 6 skewers glued together with Crystal glue, and wrapped in woolen thread to match our fastening.

After complete drying, you can start making the "body" of our globe. The first thing we have to do is to remove the ball we don't need, for this we pierce it and carefully remove it. Next, fill the "ball" with padding polyester, as tightly as possible. We glue the "continents" cut out of velvet colored paper using the "Crystal" glue.

We glue the cut-out cotton pads in place of the supposed "poles". We also use Kristall glue.

So, all the parts are almost ready, you can start assembling. We dress the “body” of the globe on the “axis”, fix it at the base and fix the previously prepared buttons at both ends.

Now let's get down to making the base, in which we will subsequently fix our globe.

To do this, wrap a sour cream cup with crepe - paper and decorate it with woolen thread.

Well, our wonderful globe is ready!

You can proudly present it to your beloved teacher !!!

Target: Develop children's interest in designing from strips of paper. To teach to convey in the work the characteristic features of the model of the globe - the globe. To consolidate the ability to properly use scissors, glue stick. To develop the fine motor skills of children, accuracy in work. Expand the vocabulary of children.
Material for the lesson: Globe, blanks from colored paper, scissors, glue, plasticine, cardboard, wooden skewer.

Working process:

They bought me a small globe as a gift
A motley ball rotates on the leg.
The seas, the oceans are blue
And different countries are like colored spots:
Italy, France, Cuba, China,
Some (you will die with laughter!) U-swear-wai ...
I studied the names of countries for a long time,
And in the evening he said to mom and dad:
“I want to go around the whole world as soon as possible,
Buy a ticket for the morning train. "
I invite children to consider the globe, its features.
To make a globe you need:
- blanks from colored paper: blue, yellow and white;
- scissors;
- glue;
- plasticine;
- cardboard square 7x7;
- wooden skewer

Cut the blue strip of paper into 4 strips 1 centimeter wide and glue the snowflake,

then glue the ball is a globe,

we pierce our ball with a skewer and set it on the axis

cut out a circle from a square of cardboard - this is a stand for a globe
we install the globe on a stand with the help of plasticine; cut out continents and islands from white and orange paper

glue them onto the resulting globe.

How to make a globe yourself April 10th, 2017

Globe, map, sweep for the globe, Mercator projection, physical map, political map, images from NASA satellites, NASA, hybrid map,a high resolution19200x19200, water, oceans, seas, islands, depressions, plains, mountains, ridges, plateaus, countries, states, cities, printer, paper, scissors, glue, PVA, free download.

In the beginning God created in Matlab a three-dimensional RGB array 19200 x 19200 x 3 blue. And God said: let there be dry land in the middle of the water in the conformal projection of Mercator. And it became so.

And God created different states on land in four basic colors sufficient for non-overlapping coloring of any map. And it happened by chance that the British Empire turned out to be painted green, China - yellow, the USA - purple, and Russia - pink. Only Greenland and Antarctica remained white. And God called the land and various objects, mountains, ridges, plateaus, plains and even one hummock on it, and called the collection of waters oceans and various objects, seas, islands, troughs, underwater ridges and rivers flowing into it. And God saw that This well.

And God said: Let the land grow cities, states and capitals. And he created algorithms for placing inscriptions so that they do not interfere with each other. And God transformed the Mercator projection into a scan of the globe and divided it into separate sheets of 10 degrees. And it became so.And God saw all that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And all this can be mixed with NASA imagery, printed, cut and pasted on the globe.

And there was evening and there was morning: andit was already the 30th day about, if not more.

Old globe (circumference at the equator 1333 mm, diameter 424 mm). It was all stripped and melted in places. I had to pump it up with a car pump and straighten it with a heat gun. The restored hemisphere had to be made Southern. The result is a real geoid.
