To assemble the cabinet parts, you will need screws, furniture corners and dowels. Before sawing doors and shelves, it is recommended to decide in advance which suspension systems and fittings will be used, because the end result of cutting the elements depends on the suspension method and the required clearances.

Cabinet assembly sequence:

1. A plinth or adjustable cabinet legs are installed on the bottom of the furniture.
2. The sidewalls and internal filling are attached (niches are formed).
3. A roof is attached to the structure, and additional shelves are installed.
4. After installing the furniture in its place, the front parts and glass shelves (if any) are mounted.

The wardrobe in the hallway can be decorated with mirrors, wood and painting. Of course, it is better to use acrylic mirrors, which are less fragile and lighter. If there is a desire to create an additional light source in the cabinet design, then it is worth stopping at low-power halogen bulbs (12V). • furniture boards (mainly made of pine, beech) with dimensions 1600 * 400 * 18 mm and 2000 * 400 * 18 mm;

• slats measuring 3000 * 40 * 12 mm;
• plywood 6 mm thick;
• hinges for furniture;
• furniture handles;
• wooden dowels.

We will make one single-door bedside table, another two-door bedside table, a pencil case and a clothes hanger.

Making a single-door bedside table

Let's start with a single door bedside table. We determine the height of our future pedestal and cut out two sides of the same size from a 1600 mm high board, corresponding to the selected height. If there are skirting boards in the hallway, then on one side these two side panels are cut off so that the bedside table is close to the wall. In the upper part, we also cut it at an angle so that the top cover is narrower than the main bedside table. We fasten the two panels with self-tapping screws, inserting the lower and upper bases. At the same time, we do not make the base straight to the floor from below, but slightly higher, removing the resulting gap with a front panel using wooden dowels. We fasten the base from above in the place where the saw cut begins. The back panel, if necessary, is made of plywood. Next, we cut out the door of the bedside table so that the drawer fits above it, and with the help of a special drill we make holes for the door hinges. With the help of furniture hinges, you need to attach the door to the bedside table frame.

Cut out the runners for the drawer drawers from plywood. For reliability, it is better to cut them out along the entire depth of the cabinet. We attach them to both sides of our frame. We make the bottom bar for the box out of plywood, taking into account the fact that it must fit into the holes of the runners, the back and side panels of the box. We make the front panel from a furniture board with a size slightly wider than the drawer itself.

We fasten the parts of the box with self-tapping screws. We attach the front panel after screwing the handle to it and covering it with varnish.

We cut out the top cover of the bedside table and fasten it with dowels and glue. The bedside table is ready.

Now we are making a two-door bedside table. According to the dimensions you need, we cut out the side panels, the upper and lower bases, retreating from the bottom some distance and closing with the front panel, making cuts under the skirting boards. Moreover, the height of this bedside table should be lower than in the previous bedside table. The result is a rectangular frame. The internal filling is chosen by everyone for himself according to his wishes, placing partitions and shelves. From the sides, everything is fastened with self-tapping screws, the upper and lower covers are attached with wooden dowels. Next, the doors of the appropriate sizes are cut out and attached to our frame using furniture hinges. The back panel is made of plywood.

Next, we proceed to the manufacture of a pencil case. We cut out the side panels of the required depth from the large boards, as well as the lower base, the central shelf and the upper base. It is recommended to divide the cabinet into two compartments in height to keep the doors light. Do not forget to make cuts for the skirting boards and raise the lower base slightly above the floor. The whole structure is fastened with self-tapping screws. Two doors of the same height are cut out of large boards. Using furniture hinges and a special drill, the doors must be attached to the frame of the pencil case. It is recommended to hang the door with 3 hinges for greater security. The back wall is made of plywood. Internally, again, everyone chooses independently. The shelves are attached with special shelf fasteners. Here is your pencil case ready.

Now we collect all the pieces of furniture in one place, arranging them in the following sequence: first, a one-door bedside table, then a two-door bedside table, and then a pencil case. Now, in the resulting space above the two-door bedside table, we will make a clothes hanger.

To do this, the boards are sawn at the same height, which should not exceed the height of the pencil case and should start above the two-door bedside table, and are attached to a horizontal rail with a certain distance from each other. The width of this structure should match the width of the two-door bedside table. It turned out to be something like a rectangular lattice. Above, stepping back from the edge a small distance, a shelf for hats is attached to the entire width of the hanger. Using sandpaper, you need to process every detail of the hanger and varnish it. This hanger is attached to the wall with self-tapping screws above the two-door bedside table. Hooks for clothes are attached with screws.

Now in our design there is space above the single-door bedside table. You can hang a mirror in this place. It will look beautiful and harmonious if the dimensions of the mirror do not crawl up behind the wardrobe and to the side behind a single-door bedside table.

All the resulting furniture should be varnished. We attach handles to all front doors using the same self-tapping screws, if necessary, put locks and other accessories. If you did everything correctly and conscientiously approached your work, then in the end you got a furniture set in the hallway, which is suitable both for outerwear, which is convenient to hang on the open part of the hanger and put into the closet as needed, for shoes that are convenient in boxes to put in a bedside table. A convenient shelf for hats will allow you to keep them safe and eliminate the possibility of losing them. A convenient mirror with a beautiful edging to match the style of your corridor will give you the opportunity to put yourself in order right within the corridor.

With minimal costs for materials and in the presence of a small set of tools, which is available in almost every apartment, if you wish, you can make yourself a wonderful and necessary set of furniture for your hallway.

If desired, instead of varnish, the furniture in the corridor can be covered with paint of the shade you need. The front surface of the doors can be decorated with additional materials such as bamboo panels, mesh panels, glass shelves, doors. If necessary, the handles can be changed to others, thereby slightly changing the external image of your corridor wall.

Self-production of the hallway turned out to be not so difficult, a very convenient and very affordable way to refine the interior that is boring to you.
