Vitamin C in nettles is 2, 5 times more than in lemons and 10 times more than in apples and potatoes. Green cabbage soup, salads can be made from young nettle leaves. For medicinal purposes, both fresh and dried nettles are used. The plant is used as a hemostatic, as well as a diuretic.
