Examples of sliding wardrobes in the bedroom. Options for filling wardrobes in the bedroom, which is better

The filling of your wardrobe also depends on its location. For example, if you are planning to mount a compartment in the hallway, you need to think about a section for outerwear. Raincoats and coats are of considerable length, so a compartment for them must be planned at least 130 cm. Do not forget to think about shelves for hats, gloves and scarves.

However, in the compartment that you decide to place in your bedroom, such compartments will not be in demand. Inside the cabinet installed in this room, you may want to place a TV that is completely unnecessary in the corridor.

  • Before ordering furniture, even at the stage of developing its configuration - think about what you plan to store inside. Take the time to measure the bulky items in your wardrobe. Experts, for the comfortable operation of the sections, recommend adding at least 10 cm to the existing dimensions.
  • At the same time, pay attention, when you begin to determine the height and width of the compartment shelves, on the thickness of the material used. As a rule, laminated chipboard used in the production of cabinet furniture has a thickness of 16 mm. The five shelves that you originally planned to place in the cabinet will take 8 cm from the available height.
  • When deciding on the size of the doors and their number, dividing the compartment into sections, pay special attention compartments with pull-out systems. In practice, the doors do not correspond to theoretical parameters 1/2 or 1/3 of the cabinet width - they are always double the width of the sash profile. For example, if your wardrobe with a width of 180 cm is equipped with three doors, then by opening one of them, you will not get 60 cm of free space, as planned, but less. That is why it is necessary to remember, when you discuss with the designer the desired size of the drawers, that their width should be less than the width of the compartment doors.

Another important point that it is desirable to take into account is calculating the depth of the cabinet. When planning to install a pantograph or a holder for a hanger in one of the compartments of the compartment, make sure that its size is at least 60 cm.When completing the cabinet with a sliding bar, it is necessary to plan at least 45 cm, but only if the structure of the holder itself is no more than 40 cm long.

Buying a beautiful wardrobe in the bedroom is a serious purchase. When choosing, you should responsibly study the types of cabinets, their capacity, dimensions, shape and color palette.

A bedroom is a room where a person rests. Excess items only disturb the peace and harmony of sleep. Therefore, a properly selected wardrobe will not only help you get rid of unnecessary things, but also unload the room, giving it the necessary order and comfort.

Advantages

People who decide to put a wardrobe in their bedroom note its laconic style and large capacity. Due to this product, you can leave only important things in the room in the form of a bed, bedside table, TV stand and the closet itself. You no longer need shelving with dressers that occupy the entire room and create a cluttered effect in the room for a comfortable rest.

Despite the fact that a modern wardrobe is dimensional furniture, it is capable of performing the role of several items at once. Therefore, this option is the most optimal solution for the interior of a bedroom. The wardrobe will help you place things of any size and hide unnecessary items from your eyes, creating the effect of order and comfort.

The list of advantages of sliding wardrobes includes:

  • due to the height of the wardrobe, any things will fit in it, relieving the free space in the room;
  • wardrobes with a large number of shelves and drawers with other compartments can replace the dressing room;
  • models with mirrors visually increase the area of the room;
  • thanks to the sliding doors, you can save space in the bedroom.

Manufacturers offer a wide selection of cabinet samples, among which you can choose models that perfectly fit into your interior or order an individual project made taking into account the characteristics of the room (for example, if there are niches in the room, you can use them in the arrangement of the cabinet and save on costs ).

We take into account the sizes

In most cases, bedrooms have a limited area, so every owner of a small room is trying to save money. Sliding wardrobes can be put in a small bedroom, so they take pride of place in modern interiors.

The most popular are built-in models that are placed on the entire wall. If you want to get an original wardrobe that will be in harmony with the design of the bedroom, you should make custom-made furniture.

Corner wardrobes, which are located in the corner of the room, look original in the interior. The furniture itself takes up a small area, but it can hold many items.

A mini wardrobe is suitable not only for the sleeping area, but also for the nursery. It will also hold clothes, bedding and hats on the top shelves.

Manufacturers offer a narrow wardrobe, which differs in its design from a wide design. It does not have a long bar parallel to the wall. It is replaced by two end beams located under the upper shelves. Shoulders are placed on such crossbeams.

When choosing cabinets, you should know the dimensions of the room: the width of the walls, the height of the ceiling. If you order a wardrobe, you can call a specialist to measure the product, but you must determine the depth yourself. There are several factors to consider when doing this.

How to correctly determine the depth of the wardrobe:

  • keep in mind that the door system is no more than 10 cm;
  • backlighting will help you get rid of the lack of light, if necessary;
  • drawers will help in accessing the upper shelves;
  • the standard cabinet depth is 60 cm;
  • if you plan to store dishes or books in the cabinet, then order glass doors.

These recommendations will help you answer the question of how to choose furniture specifically for your bedroom. Remember that it is not advisable to choose bright shades for the cabinet, give preference to light shades. If your goal is to save space, then a small corner model will be the best option.

Views

Manufacturers offer a variety of cabinet designs that differ in functionality and size. Depending on your goals and wishes, you can choose the option that suits you the most:

  • Built-in wardrobes keep the geometry of the room and free space. Massive pieces of furniture can be removed into a niche without focusing on it;
  • Cabinet cabinets are not so popular anymore. This option is suitable for those people who like to rearrange their apartment. Unlike built-in models, such structures can be moved;
  • Corner models can accommodate a large number of things. They can fit not only clothes, but also towels, bed linen with a blanket;
  • Semicircular models are in a separate category. Distortion of straight lines makes it possible to reduce the volume of a structure with a concave guide. Convex doors, on the contrary, will "eat up" the additional area.

By the form of manufacture, one can note triangular, broken, r-shaped and trapezoidal models. You can draw your sketch and order a wardrobe that follows the shape of the ceiling and walls in your room.

Studying the types of wardrobes in the bedroom, you will notice that the mezzanines do not stand out in them. Similar compartments are present in structures, but they are hidden behind doors. Despite this, this option is the best compared to suitcases and bags piled up under the ceiling.

Modern ideas

For those apartment owners who follow fashion trends, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with modern solutions in the design of a wardrobe for a bedroom. Modern styles differ from other styles in that they intertwine light and dark tones. If you have a small bedroom, combine rich colors with light colors: there are black and white models on sale, options from dark and light wood species.

Classic style wardrobes can be decorated with columns or frescoes. Curbs and mosaics made of wood of different species are in demand. Such a design will be originally combined with the traditional interior, and continue the overall style of the room.

A large wardrobe of bright color will give a stylish accent to the room. Models made in glossy and matte plastic are characterized by a wide variety of shades. The model will look good in blue, pink, yellow, and other spring shades.

Light models will help to visually increase the space in the room. Models in white, as well as yellow, light gray tones will help emphasize home comfort. Remember that the chosen colors should be in harmony with the blanket, curtains, pillows and other interior accents.

Modern technologies make it possible to use interesting doors in the design, which can be equipped with frosted glass, beautiful photo printing or matching with wall decoration. Similar options are used in rooms with a modern interior, bringing a touch of originality and sophistication into it.

Facade materials: which one to choose?

When buying a cabinet, you need to look not only at the internal contents, but also at the decor of the front part. Based on the appearance of the cabinet, its image can be provocative or, conversely, invisible. It is the design of the facade that allows you to overhaul the style of the room and make the headset the main subject in the interior.

The design of the front of the cabinet allows you to create a unique style, since a wide range of materials used for decoration will emphasize the aesthetics of the furniture and the good taste of its owner.

Varieties of facades

  • facades with photo printing. This technology is a photograph applied to the door surface using special paints. Then the image is polymerized using ultraviolet light. Due to this, the picture is distinguished by the brightness and clarity of the lines. The paint-and-lacquer coating protects the picture from damage;

  • mirrored facades... Due to the reflective surface, such products visually increase the area of the room, therefore they are often placed in corridors with low illumination and in small rooms. The surface of the mirrors is covered with an anti-shock film, which excludes splitting into small particles in case of damage. You can choose a facade, the film of which has a silvery, blue tint. There are options with the color of bronze and emerald;

  • glossy surface. This type of decor is the cheapest. You can choose a product with any color, as well as decor with several shades. Gloss is made using a simple technology, where PVC film, plastic or acrylic is applied to the prepared door;

  • glass sandblasting option. For their production, tinted or transparent glass is used, on which an image in different styles is applied using a tinted method. The picture is resistant to washing, even with chemicals;

  • popular double-leaf facades with milling. Here, a classic solid wood facade is used without a glossy or mirror design. The front side is decorated with a unique contour image using cutters. Thanks to modern equipment, you can choose for yourself facade decor of any complexity;

  • facade lacomat. This material is a frosted glass matted with hydrofluoric acid. Glasses give a translucent effect, hiding half the contents of the cabinet. Thus, you will be able to orientate what things are outside the doors;

  • decorative glass facades can have sandblasted designs in combination with frosted glass. Also popular are options with an etched mirror, which is a matte pattern etched onto the mirror;

  • plastic facades are considered an inexpensive option that allows you to combine design. There are models with transparent, matte, glossy and translucent plastic in various shades;

  • bamboo and rattan facades are suitable for bedrooms that are made in an oriental or ethnic style. As a rule, strips of bamboo are glued to chipboard or MDF panels. Rattan uses pith or bark;

In addition to the above varieties, there is a standard type of facade, which is made of chipboard. Combined types are popular, in which several materials are combined, there are models with artificial leather. The latter option is more suitable for classrooms.

Internal filling

When choosing a cabinet, you will need to plan how the interior will be placed. This is an important step, because here you should determine the characteristics of each item that is inside. Start planning with simple shelves for clothes and bedding: you need a few roomy sections.

The upper shelves, called the mezzanine, will contain hats and rarely used items. Lower floors can accommodate shoes or heavy items. Remember to plan out tall hanger sections.

Some wardrobes may have a chest of drawers in which you can store small items, clothes, sewing utensils and other things. It is important to decide on the internal content of your closet in advance so that it contains everything you need.

When choosing a wardrobe for your apartment, the designers recommend that you initially think over the design project. Depending on the room in which you plan to install the headset, the area of the room and the style of the interior, it will depend on which option suits you best.

If you decide to place a wardrobe in the nursery, a built-in wardrobe will suit you. This option is optimal, because this furniture has no sharp corners and protrusions, but there are deep shelves, drawers and high sections where all the little things and clothes of the child can be placed.

The wardrobe will help not only quickly hide a large number of children's toys, but also find them quickly. It is not recommended to choose models with mirrors, it is better to pay attention to options with open side walls, equipped with shelves. The child will be able to put his drawings and handicrafts on them.

In the design of the bedroom, a large wardrobe will become the main item. Choose models equipped with a deep shelf, spacious section for clothes. Designs of four sections look great in the bedroom. A huge amount of clothes can be placed in such wardrobes, so every woman can use it as a dressing room. Unfortunately, not everyone has enough space to install such oversized furniture, but if possible, do not miss the chance.

Cabinet doors merged into a single mirror will help you create a comfortable environment in the bedroom. You can not only visually enlarge the room, but also use the mirror for its intended purpose.

Sliding wardrobes are able to give a modern look to a room in a Khrushchev building. Pay attention to compact corner options that will visually enlarge and lengthen the area of the room without cluttering it.

The designers emphasize that sliding wardrobes can be installed in bedrooms of any size and style. Consider some guidelines to help you create a stylish and unique environment:

  • In order to emphasize modern style and add lightness to the decor, choose large models with doors with transparent plastic. At the same time, a dark shade of plastic will add originality and aesthetics to the room;

  • In some houses, the bedroom is located in the attic, which has several levels in the ceiling. In this case, you can draw a sketch of a custom cabinet that will fill your room with originality;

  • for adherents of the classic style, a wardrobe with contrasting inserts and carvings is suitable;

  • if you have a room with a black and white color scheme, take a closer look at built-in structures with a white glossy facade;

  • for narrow and long rooms, a headset with wide mirrored doors is suitable. As an addition, you can choose a tinted facade;

  • for lovers of individual style, there are various types of combined facades. Choose a ready-made version or order your own sketch with a unique design;

  • decorative self-adhesive film on the doors will help you achieve the effect of "dissolving" the wall with the cabinet and creating the unity of all design details;

  • sliding wardrobe doors with pictures that match the color scheme and texture of the room allow you to refresh the room.

There are no restrictions on the design of such furniture. Based on your wishes, you can choose models with non-standard shapes, with any color scheme and design. The sliding wardrobe, which is the central link of the bedroom, will bring originality and practicality to the design of your home.

The main advantage of a sliding wardrobe over a conventional wardrobe is the efficient use of every centimeter of the allotted space from floor to ceiling. The capacity of the model is determined by the rational distribution of the internal space.

There are many planning options, but first you need to decide in which room the wardrobe will be used. In different rooms, the options for the location of the insides of the cabinets will be different.

The inner space of the wardrobe should be conditionally divided into three parts: upper, lower and middle. The top shelves of the closet usually store unnecessary seasonal items of clothing, shoes and other wardrobe items that are not very convenient to get out. For coats and jackets stored upstairs on hangers, pantograph equipment will be convenient.

The distribution of the middle part of the space is based on the fact that mainly the most necessary items of clothing today and now will be stored here, so this part of the closet is the most convenient. Usually, the middle space is occupied by bars for hanging casual clothes.

Shoes, clothing and household care items, for example, an ironing board, an iron, a vacuum cleaner, can be stored in the lower part of the wardrobe.

The location of the rods will depend on the depth of the wardrobe. If the cabinet is deep, then the rods will be parallel to the door. If the cabinet is shallow, then the rods will have a position perpendicular to the door.

The dimensions of the wardrobe for the hallway will depend on the size of the room. If the size of the hallway allows, it is better to choose a spacious corner model. The internal content of such a non-standard wardrobe needs to be planned for storing outerwear, shoes, bags and umbrellas.

photos

In the closet, you will need to think about the convenience of getting things out of the corner. Ideal when the corner space will be occupied by hanger bars. In order not to install the partition wall in the corner itself, it will be enough for strength to install a support stand with rods fixed to it at the required height.

The rest of the space in the middle part can be left for bags, umbrellas and hats, not forgetting to place shelves for shoe care products, keys and other little things closer to the exit. It will be convenient to place hooks for bags on the side walls. With a standard cabinet depth of 600 mm, the usable shelf space is 500 mm.

Filling a typical two-door wardrobe with dimensions 1600 × 2400 × 600 mm for a small apartment entrance hall is the simplest and most economical option. In one half of the cabinet there will be several pull-out shelves and trousers for compact storage, in the other there will be a compartment for outerwear.

In the cramped space of the hallway of the “Khrushchev” apartment, it is necessary to provide that the sliding internal shelves do not interfere with the correct closing of the cabinet doors. The compartment for accommodating a rather long outerwear must be made at least 1500 mm high.

The dimensions of the closet in a narrow hallway will be guided by the dimensions of a niche or the smallest wall. The depth of the cabinet shelves will not be standard and will be no more than 400 - 450 mm, respectively, the crossbar for outerwear will be perpendicular. Of course, a lot of clothes will not fit on the crossbar, but for a single person or a family without children, this space will be enough.

It is important that all sliders, bars and hooks are strong and can support the weight of the stored items.

The filling of the inner space of the wardrobe for the bedroom will differ from the arrangement of the wardrobe for the hallway. This cabinet is not designed for outdoor clothing and shoes. The optimal filling in such models of wardrobes provides for a large number of shelves for storing bedding, home clothes, socks and underwear.

For a bedroom, it is best to design a corner or built-in wardrobe that takes up space in the entire wall.

The dimensions of the sliding wardrobe are 1800 × 2400 × 600 and more, up to two meters in length, suggesting the use of three doors. Such a cabinet is called three-section. To organize the internal filling, it is convenient to divide the 2000 mm cabinet length into sections of approximately 600 mm each, taking into account the thickness of the internal partitions. Even with a thickness of 14 mm, chipboard shelves of this width will not sag.

The filling of the cabinet from 2.3 to 2.7 meters can be divided into three sections, moreover, there will be not three, but four doors. In a cabinet of 3 meters or more, there will be four sections. There will be many shelves in such large cabinets; drawers and multi-level mesh baskets can be added in the lower part to strengthen the rigidity of the structure.

It is not always convenient to place drawers close to the floor. In order not to bend over, the boxes can be raised to hip level. With this arrangement, the lintels of the shelves under the drawers must be designed with increased strength. The dimensions of the mezzanine shelves do not always coincide with the dimensions of the sections, there may be one over two sections. It is important to calculate the thickness so that the shelf does not deform due to the load.

For a family with a baby, a practical scheme for placing furniture in the bedroom will be very convenient, which assumes the presence of a wardrobe with a supply of diapers, next to a changing chest of drawers, in the drawers of which rattles and baby care products are laid out.

Since things that do not fit in other rooms are stored in the wardrobe, the filling can be very different. For example, you can provide for the placement of a folding ironing board.

If you do not want or cannot have other pieces of furniture in a small bedroom, you can provide a dressing table hiding behind a sliding door in the space of the wardrobe. There are also options for placing radio and television equipment behind sliding doors.

If you wish, you can combine several functional areas in one room by choosing a wardrobe model with a built-in full-fledged workplace, that is, to get a combination of clothes storage with a secretary.

Bringing to life a sketch of a wardrobe in a children's bedroom, you should remember that internal accessories, handles and fittings must be durable and extremely safe. The inner filling of the children's closet must be different from that of an adult. While the child is small, it is necessary that all his things and toys be concentrated on the shelves of the lower zone. The grown-up child will eventually begin to use the upper shelves.

A bar for hanging clothes on a hanger in a children's closet should be located at a height of no more than 80 cm, taking into account the change in the child's height, it is good to provide for the possibility of adjusting the height of the bar.

In order to avoid cluttering with unnecessary furniture, you can equip a wardrobe with a built-in computer desk and shelves for storing textbooks and notebooks in the children's bedroom.

Choosing fillers and accessories

A sliding wardrobe is purchased for more than one year, therefore, when choosing, you need to think carefully about the composition of its equipment. Today, the accessory system uses a huge range of high-quality stationary and retractable devices for laying out and hanging wardrobe items that can be transformed to suit different needs.

Basic sets of budget accessories include a hanger bar, shoe racks made of mesh material, baskets on roller guides and ordinary drawers.

photos

A metal bar for hanging clothes on hangers in wardrobes and wardrobes is made of round or oval cross-section. The advantage of an oval bar over a circular bar is that it can carry a lot of weight and is often removable.

Traditional mesh shoe shelves can be installed horizontally and at an angle. They are placed in any opening, in the compartment they are attached to the back or side wall.

Multi-tiered mesh baskets with pull-out mechanisms are used for quick selection of wardrobe items. They are installed on budget roller mechanisms and vary in size, therefore, when designing a wardrobe, you need to leave a suitable opening for them.

The disadvantages of the design include their noise and not very high strength.

Today, more and more expensive, but also more durable telescopic guides on ball bearings are used for the operation of sliding systems.

Conventional drawers for sliding wardrobes are made in the form of a chipboard box and a fiberboard bottom. The texture of the front panel of the drawer must correspond to the front of the cabinet. The box moves due to roller guides installed on the sidewalls or on the bottom.

There is an easy way to modernize your drawer cabinet using plastic baskets. If it turns out that there are few drawers in the closet, you can always install baskets of suitable sizes on the shelves.

Expensive accessories for wardrobes - pantographs, trouser, tie and pull-out shoe racks are on sale in many varieties, allowing you to organize a convenient orderly storage of things.

The pantograph is very convenient for getting clothes out of the hard-to-reach under-ceiling area of the closet. It is a spring mechanism with a handle that allows you to smoothly lower and return the bar with clothes to its original position. The rods are mounted on side rails or on the back wall. Elite models of pantographs are equipped with hydraulic mechanisms that allow you to stepwise control the lifting capacity and adjust the angle of inclination of the boom.

The cabinets, if desired, are equipped with a swivel mirror and a folding ironing board with a device for ironing sleeves.

The best choice would be to equip the deep corner section of the wardrobe with a tilt-and-slide system, consisting of a fixed column, a supporting telescopic steel frame with hanging mesh baskets and holders for clothes, including trousers, will be the right solution.

Trouser holders usually consist of 7-9 trousers hangers. For hanging trousers for women and men, there is also a retractable side attachment system of five tubular rails. Despite the compact arrangement, trousers on this design do not wrinkle.

The cascade system of the shoe rack consists of 2-3 mesh shelves, located at an angle, with anti-slip mats. The depth of the shoe shelves allows you to mount them in a wardrobe in the corridor or hallway with a depth of 360 mm, 500 mm and store shoes of different sizes.

Ties, belts, belts, jewelry items can be stored hung on special hangers or in shallow drawers with telescopic sliding mechanisms and cells arranged with wooden dividers.

When purchasing or ordering furniture designs, it is quite difficult to make a choice from a large number of proposals, especially when it comes to such a moment as filling wardrobes(photo sizes offer numerous options), among which you need to make a smart choice. A banal question can turn into a problem, especially in the process of making custom-made furniture, therefore, knowledge of the basics of selecting a cabinet furniture structure for each of the premises or large apartments is required.

Correct filling: nuances

There are no specific standards for the selection and production of filling. However, the advice of experts in the field will not be inappropriate; on the contrary, it will help to quickly make a determination with a choice of design. The choice depends on certain factors that must be taken into account in this case.

  • dimensional parameters of the wall;
  • intended purpose of structures;
  • the number of personal items;
  • the budget of the customer of the cabinet.

The simplest and most common types of layouts can be found on the Internet. There you can also measure the parameters of length and width, as well as find out the price for the manufacture of structures, types of materials and shapes of products. The sliding wardrobe, or rather the planning of its "insides" involves not only the placement of shelves, but also the design, and other elements, therefore it is important to evaluate the design of the product in advance, even before a new piece of furniture appears.

Number of doors in the cabinet

There are several options. For example, for a small room, a wardrobe with two doors or with one door will be an actual option. It turns out that this option involves at least two sections. At the moment of designing the structure, the cabinet is divided into conditional niches.

  • Items for storing long items,
  • Niches for the safety of clothes used every day (jeans, sweaters, T-shirts, tops),
  • Compartments for storing linen accessories and accessories,
  • Products for gloves, belts, ties and other accessories,
  • Drawers and shelves for care products for garments.

The number of doors and compartments plays an important role. with one door, equipped with a guiding particle, are small in size, but have good internal ordering. The peculiarity lies in the constantly open state of one of the halves of such a product. This will create a niche for storing other fixtures in an open area.

Width of structures

  • Outerwear sections - 80 cm,
  • for long items - 140 cm.

It's important to know! The location of the crossbar is most conveniently selected based on the width, thanks to this approach, you can save a lot of free space inside.

  • The filling of the product should be located at a height that is convenient for the wearer to get inside. The size of the opening in this case should be about 35-40 cm.
  • If it is necessary to choose dimensions for short clothes, the opening on the hangers is 80 cm, for long clothes - 150 cm.The opening of the bar is calculated by adding 20 cm to the value.
  • The mezzanine in the closet is traditionally used to store large items that are not currently used by the owners.
  • It is recommended to store socks and underwear in corner wardrobes. Some models have triangular shapes, as well as trapezoidal and diagonal models. If you decide to make the product in a corner, it will be more difficult to fill it, since you will need to take care of providing easy access to the items located in the corner. If you want to use space efficiently, you can install several hanger bars in the very center. Open-type shelves are traditionally made in the corners to accommodate souvenirs. Filling corner wardrobes, photos with dimensions suggest a large number of options, is a difficult process, however, with due attention, you can achieve good results.

    Filling of wardrobes for built-in wardrobes

    If you decide to take up the assembly of a built-in structure, you can find relevant and practical solutions, especially if you learn to use the free space as competently and practically as possible - inside and out. It is important to ensure that empty niches are correctly filled. In the bedroom, if such designs are used, many people tend to create space for or a TV. Another thoughtful option is to create an open module. Some apartment and house owners are adamant in their decision to create a practical design, therefore they use truly practical solutions when creating.

    conclusions

    Thus, when planning the filling of structures, you should be aware of the fact that the lion's share of your comfort and convenience, as well as the rationality of the space in the room, will depend on it. The location of the cabinet itself acts as a basic planning element. For

Blankets, pillows, rugs, bed linen, personal belongings - all these things are in the bedroom and require careful, neat storage. It is important to remember that filling the wardrobe in the bedroom has its own differences, provided that this is not the only room in your apartment. It will not have shoe racks, bars for placing street clothes, but mezzanines, deep roomy shelves for linen baskets and bedding sets are welcome. An ironing board, an iron or a dressing table with hostess accessories can be placed inside the cabinet. A family with a small child will like a wardrobe, whose design will not only decorate the room, but also allow you to neatly place a lot of children's things - from diapers, powders to rattles, diapers. It is believed that two types of wardrobes are best suited for a bedroom - a built-in wardrobe that takes up the entire wall space, or a corner wardrobe.

What internal structures and mechanisms should contain a sliding wardrobe in the bedroom? There are many options, it all depends on the wishes of the owner. The only thing to remember when purchasing filling for a coupe is the quality of the materials. Brackets, mounts, rods should be made of high quality materials so as not only to withstand the weight of clothes and linen, but not to harm things. The drawer guides can be easily pulled out, locked to prevent falling out, and also softly closed. The best solution is reasoning mechanisms that will provide closure without effort on your part. You can choose the design of the facade according to your taste to fit into the interior of the bedroom. The rectangular type of cabinets is internally divided into sections, the number equal to the doors.

With two doors

Rectangular wardrobes with two doors. This configuration is considered the most popular among consumers. Having taken care of filling the wardrobe in the bedroom, you need to consider all the options for organizing the internal space. The wardrobe can have sections for clothes with multilevel bars, a standard set of shelves, drawers. However, now manufacturers offer a lot of non-standard, very ergonomic options for "filling" - these can be telescopic, rotary mechanisms for placing clothes or textiles. Convenient "carousels" have been invented for the hangers, which make it possible to facilitate the process of choosing clothes as much as possible. For small accessories inside the cabinets, special drawers with internal compartments are equipped with dividers. For tall cabinets without mezzanines, pantograph beams will be an excellent solution, allowing you to place things almost under the ceiling and, if necessary, easily lower the beam due to the lift mechanism.

With a width of about 2 meters, with the right organization, you get an excellent storage system in the form of a cabinet.

The wardrobe with two doors inside will be divided into two sections. A large mezzanine compartment at the top becomes a frequent option. The sections are divided into right and left zones, they can have several solutions:

  • on the right, a bar is placed for placing things, the lower zone is reserved for roll-out linen baskets. The left side is divided in half and is occupied by drawers and shelves for bedding. You can also give preference to only drawers or shelves;
  • the compartment with the rods can contain two "hangers" for the hangers, if the presence of long products is not meant. Or, several shelves are equipped under the bar;
  • above the compartment with the drawers, you can arrange fasteners for ties and belts if you think that the drawers with partitions are not very convenient. There are a lot of storage options for accessories. Narrow drawers are ideal for keeping documents and jewelry.

Modern manufacturers offer a lot of solutions for an ergonomic device. The wardrobe can be turned into the most fantastic lighting system with automatic storage mechanisms.

With three doors

Three-door wardrobes for the bedroom, respectively, will have three compartments. Their filling can be identical - for example, they can be identical shelves for storing baskets, large accessories. Or combine shelves, drawers. Also, one of the sections can be set aside for parallel-mounted hanger bars, and at the bottom there are shelves for boxes. Such a wardrobe can also hide behind sliding doors a chest of drawers with drawers for linen, personal items, if a dressing table is not meant in the bedroom. For more practical housewives, an ironing board and an iron stand can be fixed inside.

The length of the compartment is approximately 90 cm, so the cabinet with three doors is very large. When installing it, you need to remember that the part that has fallen behind the front door of the bedroom will automatically turn into a "dead zone", you need to try to get into it things that are rarely or from time to time.

If you buy a ready-made wardrobe, decide in advance how it will be placed in the bedroom so that, for example, bars with everyday clothes do not fall into a hard-to-reach corner. When ordering a wardrobe according to an individual project, decide in advance which mechanisms you need to install.

Angular

The spaciousness of the corner wardrobe in the bedroom will allow you to efficiently organize the storage of a large number of things. The space of the corner, which is usually not used, in this case will do a good service to the owners of the apartment. Occupying the same area, the corner cabinet is 2 times more efficient than its rectangular counterpart. In the corner itself, a so-called "dead zone" is formed, which can be bypassed by placing a central support with rods for placing hangers.

Corner cabinet configuration is performed with a trapezoidal, triangle or diagonal section.

We offer three options for filling the corner wardrobe:

  • the central part is a pair of rods at different heights. The left part will be occupied by the shelves, and on the right we will place the drawers;
  • the left part is divided into two compartments with spacious shelves. We make the inner compartment larger, we place the shelves at a greater distance. At the bottom, we leave a compartment for overall things. We equip the right part with long shelves to the entire depth of the wall;
  • the central part is set aside for clothes hangers. The side parts are equipped with shelves or sections with drawers. Also, side shelves with rounded end parts can be placed on the side walls.

With a rational approach, the corner wardrobe turns into an ergonomic and functional storage system.

Radial

The radial wardrobe photo demonstrates a very tempting and distinctive design. Surely many will find it attractive for arranging space in the bedroom. The shape of the doors is curvilinear, due to which the internal filling also has its own characteristics. A radial cabinet is most often designed in a corner; it also has a "dead zone" characteristic of this configuration. The corner, as in the previous version, is formed by rods for clothes on a vertical rack, or a rotating structure is placed that additionally supports the cabinet body.

In addition to shelves for bed linen, accessories, such a wardrobe can be equipped with internal drawers with drawers or tiers of mesh baskets for knitwear and small accessories. If the radius wardrobe in the bedroom implies the storage of everyday clothes, then the pantograph microlift will be an excellent addition that will make the most of the space.

Inside the radius wardrobe of the bedroom, a hostess's dressing table, an ironing board with an iron, even a vacuum cleaner can easily be placed. In this case, the space of the corner is used with maximum efficiency, ensuring the ergonomics of the space.

Built in

A built-in wardrobe is mounted in a bedroom niche, corner or along one of the walls. The design feature is that only the facade with sliding doors is mounted. It can be a large section that turns into a wardrobe part of a room or a pantry, or a meter-wide small wardrobe with two tiers of transverse rods.

A feature of built-in wardrobes is false panels that are fixed to the walls and ceiling not only for aesthetic reasons, but also to make it easier to attach shelves, rods and other retractable accessories. The vertical booms, installed in angular or radial models, act as additional support for the internal structure. The same function can be performed by a vertical partition if the length of the shelves is long and requires measures to prevent deformation under the weight of things.

When planning the filling of the built-in wardrobe, you should take into account the features of the compartment design of the door guides:

  • top, when the doors are "suspended". This type is not suitable for plasterboard structures;
  • lower - in this case, the weight of the structure goes to the floor and requires a certain elevation device.

The design of such a cabinet can imply both a blank facade and a solution with translucent inserts, a mirror, and even the inclusion of a TV. The number of doors depends on the width of the structure.

Required elements

When arranging the filling of the wardrobe in the bedroom, choose the required elements based on the functionality and what things will be stored.

If it is planned to place exclusively bedding, home clothes and linen inside, then large and spacious shelves will become an indispensable attribute. There should also be laundry sections with baskets and boxes for personal belongings.

On the other hand, in small apartments, the bedroom sometimes turns into a living room during the day, and seasonal outerwear, everyday items and accessories are also removed into the closet. In this case, the filling of the cabinet must necessarily include sections with rods:

  • high - for long wardrobe items;
  • at the middle level - for shirts, trousers, skirts.

If the height of the wardrobe allows, then the pantograph bar will be the best choice, allowing you to remove the substances that you use only periodically into the upper tier. A shoe rack is not the best option for a wardrobe in a bedroom; shoes and boots should not be stored with linen. But hangers for ties, belts, scarves and other accessories will be quite appropriate.

The wardrobe in the bedroom should have a compartment for underwear and personal accessories.

It will be great if baskets are placed on the shelves, allowing you to sort bed linen and personal items. Such a distribution will help maintain order if someone from the household is looking for the right thing.

Wardrobe type Peculiarities Required elements
2 doors The most common type. The number of sections is the same as the number of doors in the cabinet. Large deep shelves for bedding and linen.

Small compartments for household textiles.

Boxes for linen and accessories.

A small but high bar for placing bathrobes, if other things are in the dressing room.

Baskets or boxes for storing knitwear and hosiery.

3 doors The number of sections is the same as the number of doors in the cabinet. Due to its size, it may have a dead space behind the bedroom door. A large wardrobe is chosen to accommodate not only linen, but also household appliances.

It is obligatory to have a niche in the lower tier for placing household appliances.

The mezzanine can be combined with a pantograph for storing seasonal items and large bedding, blankets and rugs.

Angular The corner is a dead zone. A device in the corner of the rods on a vertical stand or rotating structure for placing clothes hangers.
Radial The corner is a dead zone.

The facade should be convex, concave or wavy.

The structure of the racks is similar to the corner model, taking into account the features of the facade. Corner-mounted structure or bars must not impede door movement.
Built in False panels for mounting shelves and rods.

Top or bottom fastening of the coupé mechanism and door rails.

Takes in space from ceiling to floor.

Mezzanines and wardrobe lift "pantograph" for the organization of the upper tier.

Vertical uprights and panels to reinforce the structure of the internal filling.

Space zoning

Inside the wardrobe for the bedroom, no matter what design is used for the exterior of the facade, the space zoning rules will be observed, guaranteeing ease of use and ergonomic qualities.

The number of sections inside the cabinet is the same as the number of door leaves. Since fullness is provided primarily by bedding and personal belongings, the bedroom compartment will contain a large number of deep large shelves, as well as sections for linen, towels and personal items.

Zoning is done based on three levels:

  • the upper level - it can be both shelves and mezzanines - will be busy with things that are used seasonally or periodically. Warm blankets, blankets, guest bedding sets can be placed here;
  • the middle level is occupied by things that should be constantly in front of your eyes. These are bed linen and accessories that are used regularly;
  • the lower level - often deals with baskets and boxes in which small items, clothes, linen, as well as household appliances are stored. Suitcases are also put here.

A built-in dressing table with a hairdryer or an ironing board, which can be removed into one of the niches, can act as a filling in the wardrobe of the bedroom compartment. When organizing space, special attention should be paid to dead zones. There are two ways out: placing things that are rarely used, or optimizing the internal space due to rotating racks or sections that will facilitate access to the contents of the compartment.

For a bedroom, a large and spacious wardrobe is a real find, because most often it is in this room that things are located that should not be seen by strangers. The competent organization of the internal filling will allow you to use the available space as efficiently as possible and possibly even free up extra square meters in the room.
