In the learning process, such interactive and active forms of classes as computer and situational simulations, role-playing games, and analysis of real-life print media of a regional and federal scale are widely used. There are master classes with practicing designers.

Methods of interactive educational activities:

Teamwork is a joint activity of students in a group under the guidance of a leader, aimed at developing a technical task.

Case-study is an analysis of real problem situations that have taken place in the relevant area of professional activity, and the search for options for the best solutions.

Problem-based learning is encouraging students to acquire the knowledge necessary to solve a specific problem that arises in the development process.

The proportion of classes conducted in interactive forms is about 40%.

WORK PROGRAM SUMMARY
Discipline B.2 V.4 "Fundamentals of industrial excellence" is a variable general professional cycle of the PEP HPE in the direction of preparation 072500.62 "Design" (bachelor's qualification), profile "Environment Design".

The content of the discipline includes the study of the process of stages of design design, organization and management of design in a production environment, doing business; consideration of the implementation of the project in the material and the implementation of design support, partnerships with specialists in related specialties, communication with the customer, marketing and management in the field of environmental design.

The art of creating various products in the techniques of artistic processing of textiles, wood, leather, wool, stone, glass, metal has long occupied one of the leading places in the arts and crafts of the peoples of the world, today it plays an important role in design creativity. The content of the course "Fundamentals of Production Excellence" allows students to get acquainted with the history of the emergence and development of applied crafts from ancient times to the present day, master the special techniques of composition in arts and crafts, and acquire certain skills and abilities necessary for mastering manual and industrial skills. In the era of modern technology, specialists are actively searching for a new form of artistic expression and figurative embodiment of the idea in original products of artistic textiles, leather, wood, metal, stone, glass, wool, and ceramics. The course "Fundamentals of Production Excellence" involves the development of the technology of artistic processing of materials when creating art products and the formation of technological ideas about the process of designing creative works. Training and education of students in this course is inextricably linked with the aesthetic aspect of development.

The discipline is aimed at development general cultural competencies (OK) graduate:

OK-5 - knows how to use regulatory legal documents in their activities;

OK-4 - is able to find organizational and managerial decisions in non-standard situations and is ready to bear responsibility for them;

OK-14 - realizes the essence and importance of information in the development of modern society; owns the main methods, ways and means of obtaining, storing, processing information;

OK-13 - owns the basic methods of protecting production personnel and the population from the possible consequences of accidents, catastrophes, natural disasters.

Discipline is aimed at the formation professional competencies (PC) graduate:

PC-3 - the ability to develop a project idea based on a conceptual, creative approach to solving a design problem; use methods of harmonization of forms, structures, complexes and systems; perform a complex of functional, compositional solutions;

PC-5 - understands the functions and tasks of institutions and organizations, firms, structural units involved in design issues; ready to use normative documents in practice;

PC-6 - focused on teaching in general education institutions, educational institutions of secondary vocational education and additional education, is able to plan the educational process, perform methodological work, independently lecture or conduct practical classes.

The teaching of the discipline provides for the following forms of organization of the educational process: lectures, practical classes, independent work of the student, consultations, study of an electronic course, term paper, master classes, meetings with specialists, webinars, tutoring.

The discipline program provides for the following types of certification: current performance evaluation in the form of an oral survey of theoretical material, checking lecture notes, special literature, reviewing completed educational work in practical classes and in the course of independent work of students, studying an electronic textbook; boundary certification in the form of a rating assessment of tests on special tasks (creative certification work) at control points, a preview of current work, a webinar; intermediate certification in the form of an exam, test, differentiated test (testing on theoretical issues of the academic discipline) and defense of course work.

The total labor intensity of mastering the discipline "Fundamentals of Production Excellence" is 15 credits, 540 hours.

1. The purpose of mastering the discipline

The purpose of mastering the discipline "Fundamentals of Production Excellence" is to train environmental designers who are able to carry out design and graphic, industrial, managerial and entrepreneurial activities, to train students in mastering the methods of artistic processing of materials (textile, leather, ceramics, wool, glass, stone, wood, metal) in the conditions of the production process of a modern enterprise (organization).
