Discs for grinders what are the diameters. How to choose a wheel for a grinder: grinding, polishing, cone, roughing, abrasive

(grinder) refers to a tool with which they perform diverse work: they cut, clean, grind, polish, brush. To do this, use disks for grinders and various types of nozzles. The main thing is to make the right choice of consumables. The nozzle must correspond to the operation that will be performed on a specific model of grinder. They are produced in a large assortment, each variety is used to solve a specific problem or several operations. You can buy them in the distribution network from Russian and foreign manufacturers at different prices. Consider the main types of nozzles, their purpose and features of choice.

Circles for the grinder are interchangeable elements. When working with different materials, it is necessary to understand their types. This will help to perform a qualitatively necessary operation. Circles are classified according to the following parameters:

  • by appointment;
  • the type of work performed;
  • constructive performance;
  • cutting type;
  • material of manufacture;
  • sizes.

By appointment, there are nozzles for working on metal, wood, stone, concrete, marble, etc. Manufacturers indicate the purpose in the marking, which is applied directly to the product itself. Many varieties are a universal tool, suitable for processing several types of materials.

According to the type of work performed, as indicated in the title, manufacturers produce the following nozzles for angle grinders:

  • stripping (metal brushes, with a mandrel, batch brushes);
  • roughing (grinding wheels, twisted cutters, roughing diamond);
  • saw. The presence of teeth on the cutting edge is a design feature of the product. This allows you to get a special purity cut on wood, drywall, gas silicate, plywood and other similar materials;
  • cutting. Cutting and diamond discs are produced with a continuous cutting edge and divided into segments;
  • grinding (discs with varying degrees of graininess and hardness);
  • polishing (nozzles felt, felt, with special Velcro and grinding);
  • for cutting joints in asphalt, concrete, etc.;
  • milling (for cutting grooves, bowls, edge processing, etc.);
  • sharpening. A characteristic feature is the ability to perform operations with a side surface.

The disk is a product of a certain diameter and thickness, having a mounting hole for attaching to a grinder with a cutting edge of a solid, segmental or figured configuration. The choice of a specific type depends on the operation performed and the material on which it will be carried out. Cutting with these attachments can be done dry, wet and combined. This feature is indicated on the label.

Discs according to the material of manufacture are abrasive, carbide, diamond and brush. The basis of the circles of the first type is a special latex paper or fiber, on which an abrasive layer with a binder is applied. The nozzle, made of fiber, comes with a rubber or plastic support plate. Carbide disc - a product made of alloy steel. These consumables can be used to cut aluminum, stainless steel, high carbon steel, and other materials as indicated on the label.

Diamond blades are a universal consumable. It is a steel product, on the surface of which diamond coating is applied. This allows you to get the thinnest cut in any material. Popular products, popularly called turtles, are a type of nozzle made on a flexible basis, has a corrugated structure and is fastened with Velcro. In addition, diamond blades are produced with a solid edge for wet cutting, segmental and turbo-segment for dry cutting, and combined.

Standard disc sizes

The dimensions of the discs for the grinder are standardized. The table shows the main technical characteristics of nozzles for angle grinders:

Outer diameter, mmThickness, mmLanding diameter, mm
115 1,0; 1,6; 2,0; 2,5; 3,0; 3,2 22,00; 22,23
125 0,8; 1,0; 1,25; 1,6; 2,0; 2,5; 3,0; 3,2 13,20; 22,23
150
180 1,0; 1,25; 1,6; 2,0; 2,5; 3,0; 3,2; 4,0 22,23; 32,00
230 1,6; 2,0; 2,5; 3,0; 3,2; 4,0

The dimensions of non-standardized wheels may differ from those indicated in the table if they are manufactured according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Cutting discs

Cutting, or they are also called abrasive, discs for angle grinders are most often used. Electrocorundum or silicon carbide of various sizes and hardness are used as abrasive grains. Nozzles are produced on bakelite (with and without reinforcing elements) and volcanic bond, flat and with a recessed center. The latter type cuts metal with an emulsion, since it has a low degree of heat resistance and cannot work under increased loads. Discs differ in the material with which they can work. In the marking of such products there is an inscription and color. Explanation of the inscriptions in the table:

If there is a blue stripe on the disc, then the circle is designed to work with metal, green - with concrete.

The marking of circles is clearly shown in the figure.

Products on a vulcanite bond operate at a speed of 50 to 80 m/s, on a bakelite bond - from 80 to 100 m/s.

The disc itself indicates the date until which it can be used, that is, the expiration date. If it is on a vulcanite bond, then this period does not exceed 1 year, on a bakelite bond - 6 months.

The degree of surface cleaning depends on the grain size. A distinctive feature of the peeling wheels is that they have the same bore diameter of 22 mm. They are available in outer diameters of 115, 125, 150, 180 and 230 mm and thicknesses from 3 to 20 mm.

This group of products includes cord brushes, the working surface of which is a metal wire. Products are called twisted cutters and are bowl-shaped and disk.

Grinding discs

Products of this group allow grinding with the required degree of roughness on metal and wood. Grain size plays an important role. The finer the grain size, the higher the quality of the sanded surface. Manufacturers produce wheels with the following grit sizes: 50, 100, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000. Consumables can be made of emery, have a sponge, felt, felt or fabric surface.

The felt wheel is used to perform the polishing operation on grinders that are equipped with a speed control device. Products are made from coarse or fine wool of sheep, cows, goats, camels. The diameter of such circles is from 50 to 150 mm, and they are 25 or 30 mm thick. It is recommended to polish at the speed specified by the consumable manufacturer.

With the help of grinding discs, the edges of the cutting tools are brought into working condition, and the welds are also cleaned. Are issued flat and cup-shaped. A distinctive characteristic of such products is the thickness, it is not less than 5 mm.

How to choose the right drive for the grinder

Discs for the grinder in the distribution network can be bought in a varied assortment and at gentle and high prices. With the help of products made from different materials and using different technologies, diverse operations are performed. What are the main selection rules and what to look for? It is necessary to clearly know what materials to work with. And you need to pay attention to such factors:

  • diameter and thickness (indicators should not be more than indicated in the passport data for the angle grinder or, in other words, the disc must fit in a protective casing);
  • landing size (should correspond to the diameter of the grinder spindle);
  • rotation speed (it must correspond to the type of grinder, indicated on the disk itself);
  • type of cutting (dry, wet or combined).

The rules that must be followed in order for products to last longer are simple. For hard materials, discs with soft binding are chosen, for soft materials, with hard binding. The working area during the execution of operations should not overheat. Therefore, it is recommended to periodically remove the disc from the material in order for it to cool down. It is impossible to cut a large depth in one pass. You can not press the product with great effort and work at high speeds. Remember: if the disc beats during operation, cracks appear on it, such a consumable cannot be cut. It needs to be replaced.

The video describes in detail and clearly about the disks for the grinder:

Angle grinder (angle grinder), commonly called a “grinder”, is widely used at a construction site and in everyday life during repairs. With its help, you can perform many different technological processes. In order to choose the right tool for performing a certain type of work, you need to familiarize yourself with what discs and nozzles for angle grinders are. The tool for this device is selected by size and purpose.

When choosing a disc for an angle grinder, you must ensure that the outer diameter of the nozzle does not exceed the maximum allowable values allowed for your angle grinder. For example, if the grinder is designed to use a circle with a maximum diameter of 125 mm, then a circle of 230 mm cannot be installed on it. And there are several explanations for this:

  • the linear speed of the cutting edge will be exceeded, which is fraught with the destruction of the abrasive wheel and injury to the user;
  • a small grinder does not have enough power to work with a large tool;
  • installation of a nozzle that exceeds the allowable dimensions requires the removal of the protective cover, and this is already a violation of safety rules.

Disks for angle grinders have standard sizes: 115, 125, 150, 180 and 230 mm. In modern Bulgarians landing diameter(the diameter of the shaft on which the tool is mounted) is almost the same and equals 22.2 mm. If you have a grinder of an outdated model “little around”, then you will need to use adapters - rings of different diameters.

All abrasive wheels of any size have special marking, from which you can find out the following information: the diameter of the disk and its thickness, the diameter of the seat, the maximum rotation speed, and also for processing what materials it is intended for.

Appointment of disks and nozzles

Circles for the grinder differ in purpose for:

  • cutting;
  • peeling
  • grinding;
  • sharpening.

Cutting discs

The most common task performed with a grinder is cutting various materials. The choice of tool material also depends on what material will need to be cut.

  1. metal cutting. The cutting disc for metal is made from crystalline corundum alumina, as well as from a synthetic corundum called electrocorundum. The main color of circles for cutting metals is blue.

  2. Cutting stone and concrete. To cut stone, you should choose a disc made of another abrasive material - silicon carbide. This abrasive easily cuts white brick (silicate) and slate. But to cut red brick, some types of concrete or ceramic tiles, this circle material will not work. Stone discs are available in green.

  3. Cutting ceramic tiles, red brick, porcelain stoneware and concrete. For these purposes, a diamond disk is already used.

    This nozzle is made of metal, an abrasive mass with diamond chips is applied to the cutting edge. The figure above shows a segmented saw blade designed for dry cutting of material. All-metal discs require water cooling during operation.

  4. Wood cutting. Although there are saw blades for wood on the market that are no different from circular saw blades, it is better not to use them for safety reasons. When using such a tool, the user often suffers serious injuries due to jamming, kickback, accidental slipping of the tool, etc.

Therefore, if you are still going to use a saw blade for wood, then you should follow the safety measures. A protective cover and handle must be installed on the angle grinder, the user must wear a protective mask or goggles. In addition, do not cut with this tool materials that are not intended for it.

The safest are wood discs, on the end of which a chain from a chainsaw is installed. In the event of a jammed tool, the chain stays in place and the disc spins idle, reducing the chance of injury to the user.

Peeling

If you need to remove a layer of paint or other application, as well as rust from any surface, apply corsets. They are disc or in the form of a bowl with built-in metal wire.

The wire in these nozzles can be twisted or loose. Its thickness can also be different. The thicker the wire, the coarser the roughing is with the roughing disc or bowl attachment, and vice versa.

Grinding

Grinding discs and nozzles are used for grinding and polishing various surfaces (metal, wood, plastic and others). Often a grinding wheel is used for grinding petal type. It consists of many "petals" made of sandpaper. Sandpaper grit can be selected based on the desired type of processing (finishing or roughing).,

Also, sandpaper can be attached to the nozzle with Velcro. Such a tool is screwed onto the angle grinder spindle.

For polishing surfaces, special circles and nozzles are produced that look like felt pillows or like cloth discs.

Sharpening

To sharpen the tool, grinding machines (grindstones) are usually used. But if you don’t have the latter, but have a grinder, then you can purchase a grinding (grinding) wheel for it, which can easily sharpen almost any cutting tool.

The main difference between grinding wheels and cutting wheels is their thickness (at least 5 mm).

How to change the disk on the grinder

Since circles for grinders are consumables, sooner or later they have to be changed. They are mounted on the angle grinder spindle using a clamping flange (nut) with an M14 thread. To unscrew it, a special open end wrench having pins on one side.

So, to replace the tool on the grinder, follow these steps.

  1. Switch off the power supply by unplugging the plug from the socket.
  2. Lock the angle grinder spindle using the button located on the front of the housing. When the button is pressed, the stopper enters the hole of the disk installed in the gearbox, which fixes the spindle in a fixed position.

  3. Insert the pins of the wrench into the holes on the clamping flange.

  4. While holding the retainer with one hand, turn the wrench to the left (counterclockwise) with the other hand until the nut comes loose. Then it can be unscrewed without a key and removed from the shaft.

    In this case, the angle grinder spindle rotates clockwise. But in which direction to unscrew the nut if your machine rotates the shaft counterclockwise? Remember: the clamping flange must always be unscrewed in the direction directly opposite to the rotation of the shaft.
  5. Now you can change the tool, after removing the old one.

    If you notice that dirt has accumulated inside the casing, then you should remove the bottom flange and use a steel brush to remove dirt from all surfaces.

  6. Next, install the bottom flange in place. You need to put it correctly, be sure to align the grooves on the spindle and flange.
  7. Lay on top of bottom flange gasket. It is not necessary to install it, but it is desirable, since it will provide easy unscrewing of the clamping nut in the future, if you need to change the tool.

  8. Install a new tool. Sometimes angle grinder owners ask themselves: which side to put the circle on? The answer is simple: the disc is placed with the printed side facing out.
  9. Place a spacer on the abrasive wheel. If your angle grinder did not come with gaskets, then they can be purchased at a specialized store, or on your own cut out of thin sheet metal or cardboard.

  10. Screw the flange onto the shaft by hand. Tighten the nut until you can no longer turn it without a key. After that, holding the stopper, tighten this nut with a wrench, but no more than a quarter of a turn, otherwise the disk will begin to deform.

After carrying out the above steps, the replacement of the tool is considered completed.

Unwinding methods if the disk is jammed

What to do if the clamping flange is stuck? This trouble, when the nut is bitten, often occurs if the tool is stuck in the workpiece while working with thick and durable materials. In this case, the abrasive wheel often breaks, and the spindle that continues to rotate tightly tightens the clamping flange. There are several ways to unwind the grinder if the disc is jammed.

With a gas wrench

This method is considered not entirely safe, since it is possible to break the stopper, although in most cases, it is possible to unscrew the nut. To avoid breaking the spindle lock, do not apply too much force to the gas wrench. The design of the latch is designed for the force applied by a standard key.

You can unscrew an excessively clamped flange using 2 gas keys. To do this, break off the protruding ends of the abrasive wheel with pliers so that you can get to the bottom flange with the first gas wrench. Next, clamp both flanges with wrenches and turn them in opposite directions (taking into account which thread on the spindle is right or left).

Gearbox disassembly

In the case when the latch is broken, in order to remove the tool from the angle grinder, you will have to disassemble the gearbox. Use pliers to break off the edges of the remaining abrasive wheel so that you can get to the bolts holding the gearbox cover. After that, unscrew the fasteners and open the gearbox. The cover will be removed together with the gear shaft. Next, this shaft should be clamped in a vice, having previously laid aluminum gaskets between the steel jaws, and using a gas wrench, unscrew the flange (do not forget to determine the direction of unscrewing).

Nut heating

The nut can be heated with a gas burner, a heat gun or a blowtorch. The heated flange is usually unscrewed with a standard grinder key.

Stitching a jammed circle

If, after applying the first 3 methods, the nut does not unscrew, then the remaining abrasive wheel between the flanges can be ground off. To do this, do the following.

  1. To the maximum, use pliers to remove the remnants of the circle around the edges of the nut.
  2. Clamp a piece of sheet iron of the same thickness as the disk itself in a vise, turn on the grinder and grind off the remnants of the circle on the end of the sheet iron.

Instead of iron, you can clamp a piece of an abrasive wheel in a vise. In this case, the grinding of tool residues between the flanges will be faster, and the nut can be unscrewed by hand.

But the use of a stationary abrasive wheel requires great care, because when grinding off the remains of the tool, the geometry of the flange can be damaged. If this happens, you will have to trim the nut.

Use of penetrating lubricant

Pour generously over the junction of the flange with the shaft liquid WD-40. It tends to penetrate into inter-threaded spaces and small cracks. After applying the liquid, wait about 5 minutes and try to unscrew the fasteners with a standard wrench.

Using a perforator

Some owners of angle grinders, in a situation where the clamping nut is jammed, install a nozzle in the puncher “ chisel" or "jackhammer”, insert it into the flange hole at an angle and turn on the jackhammer mode without rotation. Accordingly, the stop button must be pressed. Just a couple of gentle pressures with a puncher are enough (so as not to break the shaft lock), and the nut will begin to turn.

Cut the clamping flange with a hacksaw

This method can be called radical, since you will have to buy new fasteners, and it is used if the nut is not unscrewed by any other methods. To cut the flange, hold down the stopper button so that the shaft does not rotate, and using hacksaw for metal, cut the fixing nut.

The real owner for household needs and at work must have a grinder. But without suitable circles, it is not always possible to achieve the desired result. Therefore, their selection is given special attention.

What is a grinder and why is it needed?

Initially, the purpose of the tool extended only to cutting the inner corners of large and hard-to-reach parts. Hence the name - angle grinder or angle grinder. But in the future, the scope expanded, and today the main purpose of the grinder has become cutting metal and stone.

Disc sizes

Not only Bulgarians are different, but also their circles. The first thing that catches your eye is the difference in the diameter of the parts. According to this parameter, disks are:

But the most common are diameters of 125 and 230 mm.

The smallest size a disk can have. It is rarely purchased. However, if you need to perform specific work, sometimes you can’t do without it.

The diameter is optimal for housework that is required from time to time. This is a small and very handy tool that can be operated with one hand.

150 and 180

Despite the fact that circle sizes are not as popular as others, they are sometimes chosen. For example, when constant work is required around the house, for example, when carrying out repairs, then a diameter of 125 mm will not be enough. The tools are considered semi-professional.

This disc is purchased when you need to work constantly with thick material. The nozzle has a high performance, and therefore it is chosen for professional purposes.

Types of disks by functionality

With a grinder, you can perform different types of work. For this, special disks are purchased. Individual types include:

for cutting hard materials;

for grinding of varying degrees (you can perform both rough sanding and mirror polishing);

for rust removal and paintwork.

Types of cutting discs

The most popular are discs designed for cutting. Thanks to them, it is possible to cut any hard material, such as metal, concrete or stone. In some cases, this tool is indispensable.

Wood discs are considered traumatic. Therefore, in some cases it is better to find more suitable tools for processing. But diameters of 115 mm and 125 mm are acceptable for use for these purposes.

Abrasive discs

Basically, abrasive discs are used for cutting metal and stone. Previously, they were fragile, and therefore dangerous to use. But today such circles have a multilayer structure, due to which the use has become harmless. The abrasive is located between the layers. It scrapes off a thin layer of material being processed. Thus, the cut line is polished.

Diamond discs

The difference between these types lies in the application of diamond chips to the outer radius. To avoid distortion when heated, there are also special expansion grooves that make the cut easier.

Types of grinding discs

Grinding wheels are petal and abrasive. Both of them are equally effective. But when working with an abrasive type, such surface irregularities of the material as welding residues, metal burrs and others are also removed. The petal discs function more smoothly. Hard elements can also be removed, but the relief surface as a whole will be processed better.

Other types of discs

There are other types of nozzles. Velcro attachments have become very popular recently. They are purchased when it is necessary to perform frequent grinding of metal.

Other interesting nozzles are brushes, which are successfully used for grouting and cleaning various surfaces. This is often a good alternative to an abrasive grinding wheel.

How to properly install a disk?

To work with angle grinders, it is imperative to comply with all safety requirements. These include the following.

Change the circle only when the device is turned off.

When cutting, the tool must always have a protective cover.

Work is done with goggles and gloves.

The grinding disc is used exclusively for grinding, and the cutting disc is used for cutting.

No fuel should be placed in the direction of the sparks.

  1. What are cutting wheels?
  2. Work tips

The angle grinder, popularly known as the grinder, is a worthy and versatile tool. It is this equipment that allows you to successfully perform cutting, grinding, polishing, sawing off almost any material. When choosing a grinder, it is extremely important to understand which model is recommended for use. The choice is largely determined by the main purpose of the proposed equipment. Metal and wood will require different types of discs and a specific approach, otherwise the work will not bring the desired results.

Wheels for an angle grinder: we start with market research

The range is striking in its diversity. What are grinding discs and how are their characteristics determined? To fully answer the question, the entire market should be divided into main areas.

  1. Abrasive coated wheels. This consumable tool is universal, therefore, with its help, any workpiece can be cut and polished with high quality. In addition, the possibility of polishing is assumed. The abrasive tool is not in vain considered one of the best.
  2. A diamond-coated grinder disc is one of the most common construction tools. These products are segmented and solid, and for each option, its own area of \u200b\u200buse is defined. In each case, the possibility of high-quality and accurate cutting of durable materials is assumed, among which are stone, metal, concrete monolith.
  3. Saw blades on the grinder visually resemble modern saw models. However, other alloys are used for their production. Previously, products were rare, but now their prevalence is growing rapidly. The best option for a tungsten carbide grinder disc.

Taking into account the variety of modern products, you should abandon the senseless and sometimes dangerous attempts to establish a circle from a circular to a grinder. Any circular discs are designed for low speeds, and on the grinder there is a risk of distortion or destruction of the tool.

How to choose a suitable angle grinder model?

When studying modern circles for an angle grinder, it is important to understand the basic principles for choosing a consumable for an angle grinder. What aspects to take into account?

Grinding wheels have several standard diameters. The most compact model is 115 mm in size. However, 125 mm grinder discs are of greater practical importance. Moreover, it was angle grinders for the 125th circles that were most widely used not only among the pros, but among home craftsmen.

Natural wood always turns out to be a specific heterogeneous material, therefore working with it requires special circles. Grinding discs, which are designed for cutting metal or concrete, are categorically not suitable for such processing. Otherwise, the grinder will be destroyed or burned by overheating.

When choosing equipment for grinding, it is important to note that the standard diameter of the installed shaft is 22.2 mm. Previously, there were several divisions, so labeling still plays an important role. Today, for example, a standard saw blade for woodworking has a diameter of 125x22.2 mm.

Although the maximum angle grinder size is 230 mm, such dimensions are undesirable when working with wood. When choosing a tool with a large diameter (from 150 mm), you run the risk of serious injury. The preferred dimensions are 115x22.2-125x22.2 mm. In addition, the 125th circles are able to cope with a fairly large range of production tasks.

Only if you understand the specifics of the equipment used, you can learn how to choose the right discs for the grinder, for the safe and effective processing of natural wood.

What are cutting wheels?

Parameters that are used to classify cutting discs by wood:

  • Disc diameter;
  • Depth of cut wood;
  • Characteristics of the teeth: shape, frequency, number.

What to consider when planning to use a cutting disc for a modern angle grinder?

  1. If saw blades for wood grinders will be rarely used, and the type of wood being processed will be different, it is best to choose a model with variable beveled teeth.
  2. For sawing softwood and softwood, models with straight teeth are suitable. Such saw blades successfully process even the softest wood, guaranteeing a decent work result.
  3. Trapezoidal tooth allows universal use. When choosing such equipment, it is best to cut a medium-sized chipboard. Other products can be used if desired.

What parameters should be taken into account for successful work with wood when choosing sawing consumable tools?

  1. Rounded cutouts are required, which will be made towards the shaft.
  2. The optimal disc thickness is 2 mm.
  3. The depth of the cuts made can reach 20 mm.
  4. Cutouts are empty, but in some cases they are filled with copper.

Equipment for grinding and peeling work

In most cases, working with materials implies the need not only for polishing, but also for grinding and roughing activities.

Cutting wood is a dangerous activity. At the same time, anyone with the necessary equipment can grind the array. The most important thing is to understand the principles of technological operations.

Most often, flap discs are used for peeling grinders. Having carefully studied the specifics of the product, it is possible to understand how functional and effective it is.

The name gives an initial idea about the features of the consumable tool device. Its working surface has several petals of sandpaper. This structure is comparable to fish scales. At the same time, this paper with a low roughness allows you to guarantee a soft sanding of natural wood. The quality and degree of processing depends on the grit of the material, so polishing and grinding can be performed in accordance with the requirements.

The petal disc for the angle grinder is quite popular, but if desired, you can use another consumable tool.

For example, the sticky universal disk deserves attention. Modern nozzles on the grinder provide for the possibility of a quick change of Velcro. The price of sticky discs used for basic operations is lower than that of a solid petal one, but the service life is also shorter. If, nevertheless, a universal sticky circle is chosen for the grinder, then it can be used for processing and grinding various materials, which confirms the demand for these products.

A polishing and grinding tool may be of high quality, but it cannot guarantee the successful completion of the job. What is the reason for this? It's very simple: the wood used must be thoroughly dried. Moreover, raw wood cannot be used. Otherwise, the result will be unpredictable. When choosing a disc for wood, you need to be sure that the material being processed has the right properties.

Sometimes cleaning work is required to remove the old layer,. Polishing and grinding tools always show themselves at a decent level only if the wood is prepared according to technological requirements. Bearing in mind that polishing and grinding discs for the grinder are not provided for initial processing, roughing attachments are required.

By choosing such nozzles for a grinder, you will be able to feel the maximum benefit from them when cleaning old surfaces that have been repeatedly painted. This is due to the following factor: the nozzles are made in the form of a metal plate, which is densely dotted with wire bristles located closer to the outer circumference, radially or perpendicular to the disk.

Work tips

Finishing work begins only after successfully giving the workpiece a preliminary outline. The results largely depend on what types of nozzles are used to perform the tasks.

Angle grinders are used in the form of a cutter, as well as polishing and grinding devices. Nozzles on the grinder increase the functionality of the device used.

So, how to carry out the polishing and grinding process when processing wood? What tools do you need to be successful?

  1. Brush cord. These tools are ideal for rough wood sanding. The possibility of successful leveling of wood is assumed, with giving the optimal shape to the product.
  2. End discs allow easy turning of workpieces. In most cases, such work is required for bevel cuts. The operation of the end disk resembles the interaction of the workpiece with the saw.
  3. Flap sanders are the most commonly used consumables. The characteristic of the tool determines the possibility of processing various workpieces, including natural wood. It is important to note that the cleaning of complex wooden objects is carried out only using radial strips.
  4. Felt circle - allows you to achieve minimal roughness, processed products. The basis is pressed wool, fine-haired, semi-coarse-haired and coarse-haired. Felt working tool allows not only to carry out high-quality processing of wood or other material, but also to give a perfectly smooth surface, comparable to a mirror.
  5. A wheel for a grinder designed for grinding is often compared with a disc of the same name. It is important to note that the Velcro circle is a versatile tool with a wide range of applications. Various woodworking tools perform specific tasks, but the grinding wheel sometimes surprises with its versatility and high level of efficiency.
  6. The chain disc for wood is one of the most productive, but rough ways of processing natural material.

When choosing equipment, it is desirable to take into account not only the diameter, but also each accompanying informative designation. The inscriptions will allow you to determine the purpose of the tool and follow the recommendations during operation. Marking discs, circles and nozzles for grinders is a guarantee of a successful result.

A modern grinder is a convenient and effective tool. For high-quality work, special nozzles and discs are required to effectively process wood, metal and any other material of interest.
