Step 3. To join two canvases, it is necessary to lay one on top of the other 10 cm wide and carefully cut along the entire joint line with a knife, attaching a metal ruler.

Step 4. Turn one edge of the carpet towards the center of the room and attach double-sided tape to the floor. The tape should be close to the wall.

Step 5. Remove the protective film and roll out the carpet, pressing it firmly against the tape. Having fastened the cover on one side, they fasten it in the same way on the other.

Fixation to glue occurs in a similar way: the canvas is turned to the center of the room, glue is applied, it is allowed to dry for 20 minutes, and the carpet is rolled back. Smooth the surface from above with a clean plastic spatula or just by hand.

Step 6. If the canvas enters the walls, it is cut off with a mounting knife or using a special tool - a breadboard knife. It is attached to the fold of the carpet and, pressing it with effort, is carried along the wall. Then they take a wooden stand, turn off the edge of the material and complete the cutting along the marked slots.

Step 7. At the threshold, the edge of the carpet must also be fixed with tape. After that, the metal nut is screwed on so that the screws do not pass through the canvas, but the nut itself presses the cut of the carpet. The skirting boards are the last to be installed.
