Joseph Zenz studied electronic data processing, industrial economics, spare parts for 10 years in Munich. Since 1999, he has been working closely with WIMMER and is responsible for the manufacture and marketing of sawing machines.

The successor to the dynasty will undoubtedly be Stephanie Zenz, Joseph's daughter. Since 2005, she has been studying to be a mechanical engineer, and in the future she intends to continue her engineering and economic education.

The ZENZ team consists of 25 employees who ensure the flawless production sequence of WIMMER bandsaw machines. They also provide service for WIMMER sawing machines. Most of them have been working at the enterprise for 10 years.

A bit of history

Matthias Zenz bought the village smithy in 1857, which lasted until 1872. Then four more generations passed before the current owner Joseph Cenz did not take over the company in 1989.

In 2007, ZENZ celebrated its 150th anniversary. In addition to blacksmithing and trading in agricultural machines, ZENZ has always been involved in mechanical engineering. So it comes as no surprise that Joseph Zenz Jr. soon after taking over the production began to work in this area. In 1990, the first three mobile sawmills were built for trading firms. And by 1999, 500 sawmills had already been established and sold all over the world. Since 1990 the company was constantly expanding and made significant investments in the development of new machines.
