Simple DIY musical instruments. Children's home-made noise musical instruments

The musical development of a child is not complete without acquaintance with musical instruments. And if the necessary tool is not at home, then you can always do it yourself. And let it sound completely different than the academic version, but the pleasure of the manufacturing process and the subsequent game with such an instrument will exceed all your expectations.

Enthusiastic mothers have prepared for you 4 master classes on creating a guitar, tambourine, piano and string instrument from improvised materials. I'm sure they will inspire you to musical creativity with their children!

Stringed instrument

Our string instrument is done very simply, in a minute. We will need:

  • a tin cover from a box for tea, sweets or cookies, preferably square or rectangular, so that the gum holds better;
  • gum.

Exactly after a certain interval, we stretch the rubber bands on the cover. We had rubber bands slightly different in length, so when pulling and playing on them, they make a slightly different sound.

In principle, this can be achieved with the same rubber bands, just adjust their length using a knot. Getting to the game with your fingers on the strings. The sound is reflected from the iron cover and becomes more melodic and loud.

Oksana Demidova and Fedya 4 years, St. Petersburg.

To make the piano, we took:

  • a square box of candy;
  • color film;
  • cardboard;
  • plastic.

First, dad cut the box to look like a real piano with a beautiful bend! Then she and Sonya began to glue the piano with a colored film (it was not black, so the piano was made red). Due to the presence of bends, I had to use my mother’s hair dryer to keep the film flat. Inside, Dad made an insert of plastic (so that the structure did not slip) and pasted it with a light beige film.

Cardboard was glued to the bottom of the piano, which protruded slightly in front. A keyboard was glued to the protruding part (found on the Internet). Dad made three legs of plastic and a holder for the lid. The legs were glued to double-sided tape, and the holder - with special glue. Now you can arrange puppet shows.

Acoustic guitar

I am a big music lover. I especially like stringed instruments. Therefore, it was decided to do something from the strings. With the eldest son, they chose for a long time what to make: a guitar or a balalaika. The guitar won. For its manufacture you will need:

  • box cardboard (the thicker the better);
  • pVA glue (or glue gun);
  • double sided tape;
  • pencil;
  • awl;
  • some rubber bands for money;
  • stationery knife (you can ordinary);
  • two paper clips.

First you need to cut out the silhouette of the guitar from cardboard. You will need three parts with a neck and a hole in the body (socket) and two parts without a neck and a hole. It is most convenient to cut with a clerical knife. Next, you need to glue the two parts with the bar together. We used PVA glue for this.

Do you want to play with your child easily and with pleasure?

Then, stepping back a little from the bottom edge of the hole in the case, draw a line about 7 cm long and make a shallow cut along it. Insert a pencil or stick into the slot (first cut a piece of the desired length from the pencil) and make four serifs with a knife in it. It will be a nut for the strings. Below the line, mark four points at an equal distance from each other and make through holes in these places with a thick awl (you can use a screwdriver with a thin drill). On the top of the neck we do the same, only here the length of the pencil will be about 4 cm. This will be the front of the guitar.

Now we take 4 rubber bands for money, cut them and tie one end of each rubber band to a paper clip. We pass each elastic band into the hole in the upper part of the neck so that the clip remains on the wrong side. We stretch the rubber bands and thread the second end of each of them into the holes in the lower part of the guitar (under the hole in the body) so that the ends of the rubber bands are again on the wrong side. There we attach them to the second paper clip. If you stretch the elastic bands with different strengths, you can get different pitch of the “string”.

It remains to glue from the wrong side another cardboard part of the silhouette of the guitar with the bar so as to close the paper clips with elastic bands tied. And on top still glue two parts of the case without holes. Thus we get a kind of guitar case with a resonator.

It remains to dry the craft and, if desired, paint it with felt-tip pens or paint.

By the way, if you pull the strings well, the guitar sounds tolerable and you can play something on it.

Tambourine

To make a tambourine, we needed the following materials:

  • paper ring from tape;
  • multi-colored tape;
  • glue;
  • containers from shoe covers;
  • different cereals;
  • nails.

The husband screwed 3 shoe covers to the ring from the tape from the tape. We decorate the ring. We pasted it with colorful tape. Beans, buckwheat, and corn grits were poured inside.

Glued with glue for a moment so as not to open. The result is a tambourine that can even be given to babies.

Pistachio shell noisy

We took the idea of \u200b\u200bmaking a musical instrument from pistachio shells from a magazine. First, the shells were soaked for about a day to be softer, then they made holes in them. It was not easy, but a special tool for punching holes helped me in this. Then they put one string on a thread and ordered a bundle. It’s better to make the cue balls not long, as they get confused during the game. I really liked to play the noise, the sound is pleasant, not loud.

Irina Sartakova, son Nick 5 years old.

Do-it-yourself musical noise instruments.

Author: Markova Ruslana Pavlovna. The musical director of MDOU d / s "Fairy Tale" village Trostyanka, Balashov district, Saratov region.
Description:  This workshop will be useful to preschool educators and parents. Designed for older preschool children.
Purpose:  training for participants in the workshop to use noise musical instruments in working with preschool children.
  Tasks:
   To acquaint the participants of the master class with methods for making noise musical instruments;
   To acquaint with the methods and techniques of using noise musical instruments in everyday life;
   To increase the level of professional competence of most teachers, as well as parents, their motivation for systemic use in practice.

Materials:
  plastic bottles (I took a bottle of baby champagne and a small bottle of mineral water), a cardboard medicine box, colored paper, corrugated paper, scissors, a pencil, compasses, A4 paper, felt-tip pens, buckwheat, peas, salt, glue Strong PVA, silicone gun glue.

Today we will make three musical noise instruments at once - a large maracas “herringbone-rattle” from a plastic bottle from under children's champagne, a small maracas “musical daisy” from a small plastic bottle, and a bright rainbow-colored “rustle” from a medicine box.
Let's start making the first musical instrument.
   1. Cut rather long strips (length or their number depends on the size of the plastic bottles) seven centimeters wide in one color and nine centimeters in another color. Make mohrushka cuts on one side.

  2. Glue the strips to each other at the bottom of the base.

  3. While our strips are drying up, we cut another strip about five centimeters wide for the neck. On the one hand make incisions-Mohrushki twenty centimeters.

  4. Putting glue on the strip at the base, first glue the neck in a spiral motion, then starting from the bottom of the bottle the main part. I got a few strips, it's easier to glue.

   And so, while our product dries up, we proceed to the manufacture of the second musical instrument, the “musical daisy”.
  5. Cut a long strip of green, a width of 4-5 centimeters. corrugated paper. Let me explain why corrugated paper - it is much softer than ordinary paper, and it fits better on the relief of the bottle. Smear a strip of glue and glue the bottle.

  We send our bottle to dry, and proceed to the manufacture of the "Shershunchik".
  6. Cut colorful strips of 3-5 centimeters from colored paper and two squares, for the back of the box, the squares should be slightly larger, with small incisions in the corners for folding.

  on the one hand we glue the back side deafly, without the ability to open it, on the other we glue it so that our "shershunchik" opens, in order to fill the grits there.

  7. Now glue the strips, cutting off the excess at the edges.

Our bottles are already dry, and we are returning to the "musical daisy"
  8. On A4 paper with a compass, draw a circle with a diameter of 13-14 centimeters.

  9. First, divide the circle into four equal parts, then into eight.

  10. We draw round petals.

  11. We outline the neck of the bottle, make the middle of the chamomile.

  12. Cut the chamomile. We do not cut the middle, but make cuts along the lines.

  13. Tint our blanks with felt-tip pens or paints.

  14. Dress the beaters on the bottle, and you can pour the groats into our tools.

  15. The last stage in the manufacture of musical instruments.
We take a piece of yellow lining material, put a bottle cap on a piece, drip heated gun glue into the cap and glue the edges of the material inside the cap.

  Spin the lids and our musical noise instruments are READY!

  And now it’s just necessary to play: the children stand in a circle, take, for example, the instrument that Vanya made, sing a simple song “play, play, and pass it on to another”, pass the instrument to each other until all the children play.
"Tsyky-tasy, tsyky-tasy! -
  Maracas revived. -
  You will not find now
  Nobody is more mobile than us!
  We are not silent for a minute -
  We stomp all the heads!
  We will play tango for you
  About the country where mango is ripening!
  To the dance, amigo maracas!
  Tsyky-Tasy, Tsyky-Tasy! "

MUSIC NOISE ORCHESTRA.

According to the definition of an explanatory dictionary, a musical instrument is an object with which musicians extract sounds. Therefore, the material for the manufacture of musical toy instruments can be different: waste and natural.

As the source materials for my noise orchestra, I used: boxes from DVD discs, the discs themselves, beads, plastic plates, cream jars, kinder surprises, pens from pens, cases from shoe covers. Suitable as a filler: sand, cereals, gravel, bottle caps, beads, paper clips - in general, everything that rings and makes noise.

Drum

To make a drum, we need:

Cream jar;

Beads, croup, balloon;

Ballpoint pen housing;

Case from shoe covers;

Production of the drum body and sticks - rattles

Filler for sticks (beads, small buttons, beads or any groats)

Take the cream jar - this will be the drum body.

Fix a rubber balloon instead of a cap.

Take two pens from ballpoint pens.

Open the case from the shoe covers, in the colored cap, make a hole smaller than the threads of the handle body.

Screw the handle housing into the hole.

We fill the case with beads or cereals, close it.

We decorate the drum with colored paper or oracal.

The drum is ready to use

Harp

We will need:

Office gum on strings;

Box of DVD discs - for the resonator;

Colored paper, stick or pencil.

Cut a hole in the case of the disc.

Pull stationery gum on the case.

Place a pencil under the rubber bands –– they will rise.

The instrument setting can be adjusted by selecting elastic bands of different thicknesses (the thicker the elastic band, the lower the sound).

Play on the harp, either pinching the strings in turn, or swiping all the strings with your finger at once.

Ratchet

To make a ratchet, we need:

6 DVD discs

Stationery gum,

Beads, colored paper or oracal.

Drill holes in each disc. Decorate the blanks with colored paper or oracal, string on stationery gum, inserting beads between the blanks. To maintain weight when playing on the sides of the ratchet, make loops of rubber bands (5 beads strung on both sides of the ratchet). Secure the first and last beads with an additional knot. Tie the ends of the elastic band with a triple knot. Toddler holding a rattle in front of him. throws index fingers into loops and plays sharply squeezing and unclenching plates with palms ("blow");

An exciting form of musical and rhythmic games for children is onomatopoeia and elementary playing music on children's noise musical instruments. From 4 to 5 years, children with great pleasure play dance music, accompany children's songs, improvise sound pictures on a given topic or illustrate suitable verses with noises.

Playing on children's noise instruments - develops musical ear, rhythm, musical memory, forms verbal and non-verbal communication skills, forms willingness and ability to act in a team, develops fine and large motor skills, as well as auditory, visual, tactile perception abilities.

Such a joint play leisure for the child can be organized by any parents without special methodological or musical training.

I remember a bright moment from my childhood: “Snowstorm” by Sviridov is performed by a musician on a broomstick. On a real broom, but with strings. Such a "broom chord" blinded from what was, our violin teacher.

In fact, in the presence of hearing, making such musical instruments with your own hands is not so difficult. Let's start with a simple one. Percussion - for inspiration we go to the kitchen.

Even a child can make a shaker. For this you need: a capsule from kinder surprise, a small amount of semolina, buckwheat or other cereals. Pour groats into the capsule, close and seal with tape for reliability. The dynamics of the sound depends on what kind of groats will rattle inside the shaker.

Sounding wine glasses

One of the most fabulous do-it-yourself musical instruments is a xylophone made of glasses. We arrange the glasses in a row, pour water and adjust the sound. The water level in the vessel affects the pitch: the more water, the lower the sound. Everything - you can safely play and! There are three secrets to playing on glasses: choose glasses made of thin glass, wash your hands thoroughly before the game, and when playing, barely touch the edges of the glass with your fingers dipped in water.

Grandfather and modern recipes

For materials for the pipe we go to nature: we need reeds, reeds (or another tubular plant) and birch bark (or bark, dense leaves). The “tube” must be dried. Using a knife, we make an even area on the sidewall and cut a small rectangle on it. A rectangular tongue is cut out of birch bark, while one end is made thinner. We attach the tongue to the tube with tape and bend it a little. If desired, you can add several holes on the pipe.

The American version of the pipe is an instrument made from a cocktail tube. As a basis, we take a tube with a fold. Flatten its smaller part with teeth. Then, with scissors, cut off pieces of the upper part along the edges: you should get an angle near the middle of the edge of the tube. The angle should not be too large or small, otherwise the pipe will not sound.

Coin Castanets

For a real Spanish tool we will need: rectangles made of colored cardboard measuring 6x14cm (4 pieces), and measuring 6x3.5 cm (2 pieces), 4 large coins and glue.

Large rectangles are folded in half and glued in pairs. Glue a ring from each of the small strips (for the thumb). Inside the rectangle on each of the opposite sides, glue a coin at a distance of 1 cm from the edge. When folding cardboard castanets, the coins should touch.

DIY percussion musical instruments

A ceramic flowerpot with a diameter of 14 cm, several balloons, plasticine, sticks for sushi - that's what you need for.

Cut off the “neck” from the ball and pull the rest onto the pot. The hole at the bottom of the pot can be covered with plasticine. The drum is ready, it remains to make sticks. To do this, on sticks from sushi we attach a ball of plasticine, previously frozen. We cut off the lower part from the balloon and pull it on a plasticine balloon. And the gum from the top of the ball will help to pull this design.

However, musical instruments do not have to do with your own hands. Listen to the music of the streets, and you will discover the music of trash cans, pots, hoses and even brooms. And on these subjects, you can also play interesting music, as the guys from the STOMP team do.

Do it yourself. Of course, a craftsman will not succeed in making a violin or piano without special training, materials, and fixtures at home for an unprepared for this type of activity. And this is a fact that should be accepted unconditionally. But how to make fairly simple musical instruments with your own hands - our article will tell about those who are interested.

Where to find the source material for crafts

Any item from which sound can be extracted is musical. And that’s practically all that surrounds us! If you carefully follow the one-year-old babies, it will become clear: the back of the iron bed, when they hit it with a spoon, emits a melodic ringing similar to the sound of a metallophone. And if you knock wooden spoons on the table and chairs, you get an amazing likeness

It turns out that we are surrounded by solid musical instruments! With your own hands you only need to decorate them in the right way, put them in one place and put the “musician” next to them.

Gift drummer

For example, the beautiful is obtained from a set of pots, lids and wooden sticks. As the latter, pencils, wooden spoons, brushes are suitable. You can also carve special sticks for a beginner drummer from wood.

As you can see from the photo, making these with your own hands is quite simple. For beauty, you can even come up with a special logo and decorate every item with it. Metal plates mounted on a stand are suitable for “plates”. By the way, next to the pots metal buckets, mugs, bowls, basins will coexist wonderfully. The main thing in this business is to pick up containers of various sizes that are capable of emitting different sounds.

Spoon Tool

Everyone knows such Russian as spoons. Even solo numbers are practiced, where performers manage to perform quite interesting compositions.

It is possible to expand the possibilities of musician spouses by creating an entire installation for them. She will need a wooden nesting doll. By arranging them in increasing volume, you can get an excellent installation tool.

DIY Guiro

Skilled wood masters can make quite professional musical instruments. DIY rattles are also of interest to musicians today.

Initially, guiro were made from the fruit of a gorlovyky tree, on which notches were made. His place of origin is considered to be Latin America. Modern guiro - musical instruments, made with their own hands from a wooden array with notches, which should be led by a scraper called "pua". The musician thus extracts interesting chirping sounds, accompanying singing or performing his part in the orchestra.

Today, these kinds of musical instruments appear, made by hand from metal or plastic tubes. In Russia, ratchet made of wooden planks with notches were an analogue of guiro.

Maracas, Shakers - Rattles

You can make musical noise instruments with your own hands from a variety of capacities. For crafts, metal coffee cans, plastic bottles of yogurt, egg boxes of Kinder-surprises, wooden caskets, and even inner cylinders from paper towels or cardboard toilet paper are suitable. Only the latter need to be sealed at both ends so that you can put something there. They make a shaker out of two disposable cups, gluing them together with adhesive tape.

To create a sound effect, cereal, sand, small stones, beads, shot, buttons are placed inside the container. You can attach pens to round containers, paint them with acrylic paints. Then you get very beautiful musical noise instruments, which you can make with your own hands from improvised materials.

Castanets

Children are very fond of making a variety of crafts together with adults. DIY musical instruments can also be made at home.

Castanets can be made using two large buttons, to which the loops are attached. These devices are worn on the thumb and middle finger. A knock castanets at their contact and sound is extracted.

From completely unnecessary things prepared for removal to the trash, you can make quite interesting crafts. Do-it-yourself musical instruments are created by gluing covers on cardboard pieces, after which the blanks need to be fastened together, folding them perpendicular to each other.

Tambourine

Often in children's musical instruments there are bells and bells that ring beautifully. You can hang them on an empty cylinder from paper towels or along the edges of disposable plates fastened together. Folding the latter is best asymmetrically.

Having painted brightly made instruments in this way, you can use them in a noisy children's orchestra.

Whistles and pipes

It is easy and simple to do with your own hands, which produce sounds when the performer blows in them. They are made from hollow stalks of grass blades, bark of twigs, plastic pens, and cocktail tubes. If the latter are cut diagonally at different lengths, then you can get whistles that make a different sound.

Whistles are also obtained from the pods of beans, peas or acacia. In childhood, everyone at least once, but "played" on such a musical instrument.

Craftsmen make wood pipes, cutting holes in holes in hollow tubes. But here special skill is required. No less difficult - and so interesting! - make a toy whistle from clay or salt dough. Usually they use a variant of the Dymkovo toy. Although you can do a little thing by hiding inside a ready-made whistle. Having made several of these toys that make sounds of different heights, you can even play some tunes on them.

You can make homemade musical instruments with your own hands from virtually nothing. For example, a plastic bottle cap, on which a piece of rubber is pulled out, cut out of a bursting balloon, will be a fascinating toy for a child.

You can use empty bubbles as a whistle. If you blow from top to bottom in the inlet, applying the container only to the lower lip and holding it upright, you can make amazing sounds! Musicians change the inclination of the “instrument”, the distance between the lips and the opening of the bubble, the power of blowing air, and various melodies are born into the light.

"Litrofon", or "singing bottles"

Today, performers with such interesting instruments that only marvel at it! And from what only they do not make them! You can make it yourself, for example, from bottles or wine glasses, filling them with water.

Different heights of the sounds produced are achieved due to the amount of liquid being poured, the material for making dishes, and changing the volume of the container. The less water is poured, the finer the sound. For beauty and convenience, the liquid is tinted.

Harp, or "musical comb"

Taking the usual flat comb ("hedgehog" does not fit), you need to cover the location of the teeth with foil or tissue paper. By blowing into this simple instrument, you can make funny rattling sounds.

Talented musicians from the scenes perform various musical compositions on the harpe, even classical ones. This tool is especially interesting, made of a comb with different tooth thicknesses.

The main theme of “Polonaise” by Oginsky or the melody of a folk song / hit come out surprisingly similar to the original!

DIY guitar

This is truly amazing! But to do it yourself from improvised materials, or simply from trash, you can even guitar.

Closed cardboard boxes, empty flat plastic bottles for shampoo are taken as the basis. Of course, the sound of the instrument will depend on the material used to make the guitar frame and the size of the hole cut out in it.

It is also important to choose the right guitar strings. Most often they take stationery or aviation gum and pull them with different strengths.

So now you don’t need to run to the children's toy store if the kid is capricious. After all, you can simply make for him a fascinating toy - a musical instrument that will become for the child the most beloved and expensive thing.
