New Year for the little ones

In this article, I have shared with you ideas, games and useful tips for home New Year's holidays. for the smallest children:

- children under one year old,

- children from one to three years old.

Section one. New Year for the little ones: the first year of life

If your baby is about a year old, then the first Christmas tree in his life is waiting for him.

Does the child need a Christmas tree?

Undoubtedly needed. This is a new experience, and vivid impressions, and the joyful mood of the mother (and the children "read" the emotions of the mother on the fly). The only question is how to introduce the baby to the tree and ensure his safety.

First. A Christmas tree in a family in which there is a baby of the first year of life should be placed not on the floor but on the table, high - so that the crumb crawling or taking the first steps cannot touch it, pull it towards itself, reach the branch and, clinging to it, pull the tree down.

Therefore, the baby will examine the toys on the tree and the tree itself, sitting in his mother's arms.

Second. The baby must be introduced to the tree. What is the best way to do this?

How to decorate a Christmas tree for a child of the first year of life and introduce the baby to it?

Each game or conversation with the kid about the Christmas tree takes no more than 3-5 minutes, while the kid's interest remains.

First step. Show your baby an unadorned Christmas tree as it is. (If you can consider a natural Christmas tree while walking, then consider it together with your baby). When examining, talk to the baby, using those babbling syllables and little words that the baby can already repeat after you: “Ah! Smells! Ahah! Let's smell the tree! (we hold a twig in our hand and let the child sniff it, bringing our hand closer to him). Oh, how it smells! ”,“ Oh, prickly needles, oh, oh (prick your finger and lightly the finger of a child - oh, prickly - we say jokingly). Ay, what a beautiful tree - ay! "

Read a poem about a Christmas tree to your child:

"Dad chose a Christmas tree
The fluffiest
The fluffiest
The most fragrant.
Herringbone smells like that -
Mom will gasp right away! " Oh! What a beautiful Christmas tree. Oh! (A. Usachev).

Second step. Play with a tree that has not yet been decorated and toys familiar to the child, for example, such toys - a bird and a bunny - will come in handy. We will acquaint the kid with the names of these toys, their actions, we will encourage him to repeat simple babbling words.

Show how a toy bunny runs to the Christmas tree: top-top-top-top, how it jumps - jump - jump - jump-jump! Boo! The bunny fell. Get up! Jump-jump, bunny jumps again. A bunny galloped under our Christmas tree, sits and moves his ears:

"Little white bunny is sitting
And wiggles his ears.
That's how, that's how
And he wiggles his ears. "

Give the bunny in the hands of the baby, let him stroke the toy, feed the bunny, show how the bunny jumps, where the bunny's ears are. "Where is the bunny?" (hide the toy) - "No bunny!" (surprised). We look for a bunny with our eyes and find: "Here is a bunny (we get a toy)."

Put the bunny in the box so that the baby does not see this toy and is not distracted by it. And show the toy bird.

Place the bird on a spruce twig:

"A bird has arrived -
The bird is small.
Sit down, don't fly away!
Flew away. Ay! "

“Where is the bird? (Throw an opaque bright handkerchief over the bird). Here is a bird! (open the handkerchief).

On another day, other animals, toys, can "come running" to the tree.

Step three. To acquaint the kid with Christmas tree decorations and their names. (Even if you decorated the Christmas tree without the presence of the baby, you can do it now).

Let your baby touch Christmas tree toys that are safe for him: textile balls, wooden toys. Name what kind of toy it is, as it is called ("This is the horse of the yogo-goo. The horse gallops and shouts: yogo-yogo-yogo!"). Show how the horse gallops, let the kid play with this toy.

Helpful advice: Now they are producing very beautiful and child-safe wooden Christmas tree decorations that can be bought at New Year's fairs from folk art craftsmen. These are Santa Claus, Christmas tree, clapperboard, candy, bear, matryoshka, grandmother, grandfather, bright ball, icicle and many others. And toys made of fabric and felt are easy to make yourself or use ready-made ones by sewing on them a loop for hanging on a Christmas tree. Use them for the smallest kids.

Introduce first 2- 3 baby-safe Christmas tree toys and their names... Where is the bear? Here is a bear. What a beautiful. The bear walks slowly: toooop-toooop-toooop-toooop. And who is this? Bunny. When the baby remembers them, then introduce him to other toys.

Teach your toddler to find a toy, calling first its "adult" name, and then the lightweight child's name: Where is our bear? Where is the bunny? Where is the Lala doll? Where is the dog av-av? And where is the horse yoke? Where is the BBC machine? "

When you decorate the Christmas tree, ask the child to show you the toy: “Where is our tick-tock clock? Here's a tick-tock clock. Let's hang them on the Christmas tree. Like this! Oh, what a beautiful watch! "

When decorating a Christmas tree, read a rhyme to the kid:

“Mom decorates the tree,
Anya (child's name) helps mom,
She gives toys
Stars, balls, firecrackers.
We will invite guests
Let's dance and sing together. "

Turn on funny dance music and let the baby dance to it with you.

Fourth step.

If your kid knows the names of the toys on the tree well and easily finds toys on it, you can change their places on the tree - outweigh them. Will the kid find a watch in a new place on the tree?

Also add new toys to the tree. Especially good bells or bells. Let the baby ring a bell and hang it on the tree. If the baby wants to ring the bell already attached to the branch of the Christmas tree, do not deny him this. Bring the bell right on the branch to the baby's hand and gently ring it together with the "hand of a child in the hand of an adult" technique.

Helpful Hint: Jingle bells can be found at hobby stores, and lovely little bells that are handy for kids can be found at fishing stores. Tie beautiful bows to the bell and bell and sew a loop for hanging them on the Christmas tree.

Introduce your little one to the lights of the garland on the tree. This sight always fascinates the child. Lights! So beautiful! Give your kid a few minutes to just look at this amazing sight for him: the lights are on!

"Christmas tree, Christmas tree, Christmas tree -
Green needle!
Light up with different lights -
Green and red! "

What beautiful lights! Are burning! There are no lights. Where are the lights? (the lights went out on the flashing garland) Here are the lights!

How to decorate an apartment for the new year if there is a baby in the house who is not yet a year old?

Decorate your apartment for the arrival of guests with decorations that your little one can play. This is especially true for babies 8-12 months old.

Playing with colored flags

How to make a garland with flags for a baby of the first year of life. Cut diamonds from bright colored cardboard of different colors, fold them in half so that you get triangles - flags. Put your "triangular flag" on the rope and glue it down so that the flag stays on the rope, does not open and at the same time it can be moved along the rope. Make this colorful garland. The kid will be able to examine the flags and move them with a pen along the string to the right - to the left, when you take it on the handles and bring it to your homemade garland.

You can remove two flags from the garland, give one to the child, and take one to mom. And to dance to the song, a dance with a flag: the baby "dances" in the arms of the mother: waves the flag, the mother is spinning with the baby in her arms.

We will take the flag in our hands
And we will go in a circle.
Ay-yeah, ay-yeah
And we will go in a circle.
Show your checkbox to friends
Lift up and wave
(show how to do this, take the baby's handle with your hand and wave the flag, then release your hand, the baby waves himself).
Ay-yeah, ay-yeah
Lift up and wave.
Look at your checkbox
Circle with him friend.
Ay-yes, ay-yes!
Circle with him friend (mom is slowly spinning, the baby is in her arms)

Repeat this dance on different days - the baby will begin to recognize its melody and will enjoy imitating your movements.

Play with bells or Christmas bells

Decorations in the form of metal bells with bows suspended on strings like garlands or simply in groups in different parts of the room will also be interesting for the child. The kid will be happy to pull the string and ring the bell.

Take the bell in your hands and sing a song about it:

"Ding-dong - ding-dong!
The bell is ringing!
Ding-dong - ding-dong!
The bell is thin!
Ding-dong - ding-dong!
Plays merrily.
Ding-dong - ding-dong!
Masha (child's name) amuses! "

Playing with rattles

Rattles can also be included in a New Year's garland and hung in groups behind brightly colored ribbons. You can make a whole bunch of rattles for your child by securing them with a festive bright satin ribbon. While playing with a rattle, you can sing to the baby a version of the dance with rattles adapted for the smallest:

Oh how fun today
Kids have fun
Anya (child's name) was given rattles
The rattles are good!
Chorus:
Ay-yes, ring
Ringing toy
Ay-yes, ring
Our rattle
Where, where is the rattle?
Hid their little ones
Show rattles
The rattles are good.
Chorus:
Ay-yes, ring
Ringing toy
Ay-yes, ring
Our rattle.

Take the rattles and "hide" them, covering them with a handkerchief so that one part of them is visible. Where are the rattles? The child needs to pull off the handkerchief and find the rattles, after which he plays with them himself.

Another garland for the smallest children. You can tie rattles and bells into one large garland. Make a box in two side holes about 15 X 15 cm in size. Pass the tape with toys through the holes and tie it into a single ring. It will turn out to be a kind of "carousel" in a box. The kid will pull on the ribbon and get the next toy out of the box.

Playing with painted wooden spoons

Spoons can also brighten a room for the new year. First, show your baby how to knock on the floor with a spoon, on the table. Later, teach him how to knock spoons together.

Tukituki, spoons!
Resounding palms!
Tuki-knock, tuki-knock!
Ringing spoons knock is heard!

Playing with bunnies

You can sew small white felt caps for your baby. Sew two long ears to the base - cap and draw a bunny's face with a marker. It turned out "finger puppets - bunnies."

Show your kid a mini-play with bunnies:

Fingers - fingers
Little bunnies
Bunnies danced (wiggle our fingers)
Bunnies were playing (we continue to move our fingers).
And ... (pause) We ran away!

After the show, put caps on your baby's fingers - let him move his fingers and play with bunnies.

How can a baby participate in a New Year's home party?

Helpful advice 1. If you are visiting on a New Year's holiday with your baby of the first year of life, then find out in advance whether you will have the opportunity to retire from time to time with your child in a separate quiet room?

The fact is that the baby, and even after the road, will get tired of being constantly in a noisy new group of people for him. Therefore, after 20-30 minutes of the baby's stay in the common room with guests, it is better to leave with the child in a separate room. In addition, the child will be able to sleep in a separate room if he gets tired.

If there are no such conditions, then it is better not to risk going on a New Year's visit with such a small child. Because the kid can be capricious, and you will not get pleasure from the holiday. And he too.

You should not go to visit directly on New Year's Eve, it is better to go with your child on a daytime holiday to friends with children or relatives.

Helpful advice 2. Put on yourself and your child "party wear" - she creates a mood! And your holiday mood is very important for the baby too! It also gives you strength!

Helpful advice 3. Of course, strangers will get to know the baby at the holiday. There is no need to be afraid of this, but there is no need to transfer the child from hand to hand to strangers, he may be frightened. But new contacts will be useful for a child who is soon one year old. That's why let new people play with the baby when he sits in mom's arms - they will tell him a nursery rhyme, praise him, show him "okay" or dance actions. The kid is safe, he smiles, everything is fine!

Helpful advice 4. Ask the hosts and guests so that while the baby is in the common room in it there were no harsh loud sounds (clapping of a firecracker, for example) that could scare him so that the music would not sound loud. A baby of the first year of life cannot bear great emotional overload, in case of overload, he begins to act up, cry and express this unpleasant state of his voice in every possible way. If other guests need to bang firecrackers, then leave the common room for this time to your quiet place outside it. Then come back.

Helpful advice 5. With the baby on the holiday, you will need to study, communicate, play. He will not be able to just sit or lie passively during the holiday. Think about what toys you will take with you so that the baby can play with them at a party. Teach your guests your toddler's favorite nursery rhymes(forty - crow, okay, ay-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta and others). Let the guests play with the baby - amuse him with nursery rhymes.

Helpful advice 6. If you are hosting guests at your home, then most likely there will be no problems with a separate lounge. But another question will arise - if you need to retire with your child for a while to relax in a separate room, who will be able to play the role of a host or hostess with guests at this time? It's good if one of your friends or relatives can take on this role so that you don't have to leave your baby alone in another room in an emergency.

Section 2. New Year for the smallest: children of the second and third years of life

For children from one and a half years old and older, you can already arrange a small children's home holiday. Invite 3 - 4 more children of the same age or a little older to it. It is important that the children's party is either at your home or near your home, because during the journey, the baby will get tired and will no longer be able to actively take part in it.

Recommendation 1. Duration of the holiday. So that the children do not get tired, the active part of the holiday for such little children should be no more than 30 minutes, and the entire stay of the guests should be about an hour. These additional 30 minutes include changing clothes for children, and juice with treats after the holiday, but it does not include preparing the premises for the arrival of children - the room for the holiday is prepared in advance, even before the arrival of the children. .

Recommendation 2. Participants of the holiday. Invite children and adults already familiar to the child to the holiday. If there is someone new for the child, it is better to introduce the baby to these people before the holiday - let them come to visit you even before the holiday on a separate day. The fact is that young children always support each other in everything, especially in crying! Therefore, if one baby is afraid of someone unfamiliar and cries, then a friendly roar will be provided. To avoid such moments, you need to make sure that all guests know each other well.

Recommendation 3. One important caveat. The holiday will bring joy to children of this age and adults only in one case - if the children are not spectators of a performance carefully prepared by an adult, but its active participants! They will answer questions, call characters, play, dance. Moreover, for an early age, it is very important that all children do the same action at the same time: for example, everyone threw cotton balls at the fox, chasing it away. Or they all depicted a bunny sitting under a tree - together and at the same time.

Adults should also not be passive spectators: if we have a round dance, then both children and adults dance in it. Also, adults participate in games, showing an example of action to their kids.

A) either give everyone exactly the same, so that this does not happen: two kids grabbed one toy and do not concede it to each other (children at this age do not yet know how to yield and restrain themselves),

B) either have a large stock. And if one of the kids suddenly grabbed the bell with a yellow ribbon, and the second one immediately grabbed it, then give the second one another bell of the same kind so that everyone would be happy and satisfied :).

Be sure to give the kids beautiful props for dancing - the same snowflakes or ribbons or lanterns or rattles for everyone, since a bright festive props helps the kid feel the holiday atmosphere and is very attractive and interesting for the little ones.

If you go to visit a family New Year's party with a child 1 - 2 years old, and it is customary for the host family to bring individual gifts for the New Year, then in no case ask a child 1 - 2 years old to give a gift to other children. There will be tears and a spoiled mood. Just wrap the gift and give it yourself - and again, not into the hands of the child, but into the hands of his mother!

Recommendation 6. About Santa Claus. It is advisable not to invite Santa Claus to the home tree for children under 2 years old, the kids may be afraid of him. Santa Claus for many of them is an unknown uncle in strange clothes, and by no means a fairy-tale hero with gifts. Let Santa Claus be painted on their gifts, which they will find under the tree. And they will see the "living Santa Claus" a little later, when they grow up.

What can you do for children 1-2 years old on a home New Year's holiday:

- dance (both adults and children dance to any funny music with the simplest movements: clap, do half-squats - springs, show flashlights, spin, stamp with our foot),

- a round dance around the tree (to any song about the tree),

viewing of the puppet theater(more on this below),

game with lights on the tree: when we blow, the lights on the tree go out (you need to agree with someone in advance so that this is ensured). When we clap our hands, the lights come on again! Delight of children! But if we do not do it together (for example, Vanya didn’t slam), then it doesn’t work, we have to repeat it!

playing music on children's musical instruments. Give the kids the same bells, rattles and let them sound them to the cheerful music, and the toy bunny will dance to them to their accompaniment!

- an outdoor game.

How to decorate a Christmas tree if the family has children 1 - 2 years old

At this age of the child, the tree can already be put on the floor, but make sure that it is stable and cannot fall. To the lower tier of the tree(at a height accessible to the child) unbreakable toys are hung out - made of paper, cardboard, cotton wool, fabric, wood. To the uppermost tiers of the tree we hang out breakable toys. We also hang the tinsel on the upper tiers of the tree so that the child cannot pull on it and accidentally drop the tree on the floor.

A child one and a half to two years old can already be taught how to decorate a Christmas tree by hanging several toys on it. It is very beneficial for the development of fine motor skills and sensorimotor coordination. Make a thick cord loop for shatterproof toys and teach your toddler to hang the toy on a twig and remove it. Do not expect that the kid will decorate the whole Christmas tree - he will hang only 2 - 3 toys, and maybe only one. Leave the rest for next time. This is a difficult task for a child, and should not be overwhelmed by forcing him to hang several toys at a time.

Happy New Year to relatives with a child of 1-2 years old

It is now more common for all adults to be child-centered. In traditional folk pedagogy, for thousands of years, from early childhood, they taught a child to take care of loved ones. It is then that he will absorb the ability to be merciful, sympathetic, to help adults.

On the other hand, how much can such a kid do? One - no, but together with my mother - a lot.

When we make holiday crafts with a baby of 1 - 2 years old - gifts to grandmother, grandfather and other relative - then there are two extremes.

First, the mother does everything for the child. It turns out beautifully, but whose craft is this?

Second: the child does everything himself. But ... it turns out ugly and it is obvious that this gift is not a fact that you will like it. Perhaps they will accept it, but just for granted.

How to make the gift beautiful and the child actively involved in making it. The way out is the joint creativity of an adult and a child.

Examples of joint creativity in the manufacture of New Year gifts with a child 1 - 2 years old:

- in the New Year's card, an adult draws a background: the sky, houses, snow on the ground. And the child "jabs" only draws snow swirling in the air (we take a pencil and draw dots with the reverse "non-drawing" end of the pencil, immersing the pencil in white gouache),

- a child against the background of a winter forest, made by an adult, can add traces of animals by attaching: jump-jump-jump, a bunny galloped here,

- a child can, together with an adult, mold candies, apples on a Christmas tree from salt dough,

- you can instruct the kid to smear the plasticine on the background, and then, against this background, the adult can lay out a picture of small parts of the plasticine.

There are many opportunities and options! And there is a distribution of work - what the adult does and what the child does. Moreover, the adult does not interfere with the "children's" part. If we need to show something to the kid, then we show it on our separate sheet of paper, and not on a general postcard.

Examining New Year's pictures

With children 1 - 2 years old, you can already see New Year's pictures in books and on postcards. Where is the Christmas tree, where is the star, where is the flashlight, ball, Santa Claus, Snow Maiden in the picture? And where is the star on our tree?

Round dances for children 1-2 years old

Children 1 - 2 years old really need round dances. It is in the round dance that the baby gets the first experience of interacting with peers. In the first round dances, all the kids do the same actions.

For example, the traditional New Year's round dance "Zainka" for the little ones.

Zainka, come out
Gray, come out!
This way, that way come out!
This way, that way come out!

Zainka, take a walk
Gray, take a walk!
Like this, like this, take a walk
Like this, like this, take a walk.
Zainka, jump.
Gray, jump.
Like this, like this, jump.
Like this, like this, jump.
Zainka, stamp your foot,
Gray, stamp your foot.
Like this, like this, stamp your foot.
Zainka, dance
Gray, dance
Like this, like this, dance!
Like this, like this, dance!
Zainka, bow down,
Gray, bow down.
Like this, like this, bow down.
So, like that, bow down.

All children in a round dance and adults make movements according to the text. At the New Year's holiday, a toy bunny can ask the kids to dance with him. Then we will take the bunny into our hands, put it in a round dance (the bunny will dance between two mothers) and dance with him.

If children know this round dance well and easily perform its movements, then the task can be complicated. Then one bunny is selected from the children, he depicts all the actions in the center of the round dance, and all the players repeat everything after him. Another verse is added at the end:

Zainka, choose!
Gray, choose!
Like this, like this, choose!
Like this, like this, choose!

For a child, being in the center of a round dance is a very important experience! After all, he needs to behave freely when everyone is looking at him and attention is focused on him. Not every child will immediately go to the center of the round dance. If the baby is not ready, let him just look at the round dance for now or just walk in it with you. When he gradually gets used to it, he will come out to the center of the circle (this may be in a week or two).

New Year for the little ones: how to show puppet theater to children 1-2 years old

For a puppet show, it is absolutely not necessary to buy special toys. Your usual toys for a child's play are also suitable.

Advice 1. Before the start of the play, give the kids toys - characters. Let him examine them, work with them. Let them become familiar to the child from new ones. Otherwise, during the performance, the kid will reach for new toys and demand to take them in hand.

Tip 2. Instead of a screen, you can use:

- a large box,

- a suitcase, decorating its bottom as a "stage with decorations", and the top cover as a "sky",

- an ordinary table,

- a cloth stretched between two chairs,

- the fabric stretched in the doorway.

Decorations can be made using a clothespin: stick the figurine on a clothespin, and attach the clothespin to the fabric - a screen.

Tip 3. How to move dolls during the performance:

- when the toy speaks, it moves (for example, leans - sways towards the character to whom it speaks). When the character is silent, then he must be motionless.

- when the toy enters the stage, then it moves either from the depths of the stage to the children (if it is a box), or from right to left or left to right (if the stage is a regular table),

- if the toy needs to move something according to the plot of the play or pick it up, then you hold the doll with one hand, and do the necessary actions with the other hand,

- if you show a performance with the help of bibabo dolls (dolls that are put on the hand), you can express different gestures with the toy's hands. For example, arms out to the sides - this is surprise, the doll is happy - it is jumping, the doll brings its hands to its cheeks "oh!"

- if you used a toy and you don’t need it during the performance, then put it in an opaque box so that it does not distract the attention of children.

Tip 4. At the end of the play, let all the heroes - the puppets first bow to the audience, and all the spectators pat the actors and the heroes - the puppets. Mothers - viewers show children a model of action and guide them.

New Year's round dances for young children

Below you will find options for round dances for a children's home party. So that the children can play it, you must first sing a round dance with the baby at home before the holiday, make movements along the text. Only then will the baby be able to act together with his peers at the holiday with pleasure and quickly, and will be glad that he heard a familiar melody and familiar words. Young children are very fond of repetition and everything that is recognizable and predictable. And they can not immediately get used to a new dance for them.

It is enough to learn one dance or one round dance with movements along the text. And the usual round dance around the Christmas tree, the baby can drive with other mothers and children without preparation.

Snowball dance

For the dance you need snowballs sewn from cotton wool. We take a ball of cotton wool and white threads with a needle. And we sew cotton wool so that it becomes a dense white lump - a snowball. You can also make snowballs with your child out of white paper, crushing it into lumps - balls. All movements are performed by children to music in accordance with the text.

We took the snowballs in our hands, ran along the path.
The kids ran, everyone is smart and good! (2 p.)
We raise a snowball and swing it over our heads.
Swing my naughty snowball above me. (2 p.)
Dance, you snowball, snowy little friend
Dance, don't yawn and repeat after us. (2 p.)
Let's stomp our feet, take a snowball in our palm
We will bring the Snow Maiden and return it to the basket. (2 p.)

Bunnies

Our kids were having fun
And they whirled and danced
Like bunnies galloping.
Jump-jump, jump-jump,
The slipper broke.
All the guys sat on the floor,
They looked at the boots.
To fix your shoes
It is necessary to nail the cloves.
Knock knock knock knock
It is necessary to nail the cloves.
Oh, our legs are tired,
We'll clap our hands
Clap-clap-clap-clap
We'll clap our hands.
We knocked on our palms,
Our little hands are tired
I'll put them down, shake them
Bayu-bayu-bayu-bayu.
We rested a little,
Our legs are dancing again
La la la la.

Beads shine on the tree

Beads shine on the tree
Flapper and star.
We love our tree.
Yes Yes Yes! (the words of the verse are sung by an adult and older children, and the kids finish the last line of the song in chorus: yes, yes, yes).
And Santa Claus is cheerful -
Gray beard -
Brings us gifts.
Yes Yes Yes!
Snow Maiden in a white fur coat
He always comes to us.
We sing and dance with her.
Yes Yes Yes! (N. Naydenova)

Dance with handkerchiefs

Who has a handkerchief in his hands,
He will go to me in a circle.
He will show his handkerchief,
Waving merrily.

Chorus: That's it, that's what it is,

We will take by the corners
Our bright handkerchiefs.
And we will lift it higher, higher
Higher than our kids!

Chorus: That's it, that's what it is,
This is my handkerchief! (2 times).

Let's sit quietly all in a circle,
Let's hide behind our handkerchief.
And then, and then -
We will find all the guys!

Chorus: That's it, that's what it is,
This is my handkerchief! (2 times).

How they look like flowers
Our bright handkerchiefs.
And our guys too
They all look like flowers!

Chorus: That's it, that's what it is,
This is my handkerchief! (2 times).

Round dance "Mishenka"

Come out, Mishenka, dance, dance.
Paw, paw, Mishenka, wave, wave.
And we will go around Mishenka in a round dance,
Sing a funny song, sing!
We will, we will strike, strike!
Will, Mishenka will dance for us, for us to dance!

Dance "Legs and palms"

Like our guys
Legs knock cheerfully!
Our people are remote
Even though it is very small!

Only the legs get tired
Clap our palms
In the palms-palms
Cheerful little boys!

And how do we start to run
No one can catch up with us!
We are a remote people
Even though it is very small!

Now sit down
With my mom next to me
Down, up, one and two -
That's how the kids dance!

"The kids are dancing" (to the tune "Oh, you, canopy ...")

Here is our Mishenka (child's name) stands up,
He will begin to dance now.
Mishenka will dance
Amuse all the kids!
Misha, Misha, dance,
Wave to our kids.
Choose others to dance
And to amuse the children!

Everyone clapped their hands (to the tune "Whether in the garden, in the garden ...")

Everybody clapped their hands
Amicably, more fun.
Our feet knocked
Louder and faster.

We'll hit the knees
Hush, hush, hush ...
Handles, handles raise
Higher, higher, higher ...

Our hands are turning
Down again.
Spun, spun
And they stopped.

Dance with rattles

We ran with a rattle, ran quickly.
All the guys with the rattle immediately became more cheerful.

A rattle, a rattle louder
Louder, louder hit.
Dolls, bears, all animals
It immediately became more fun.
Fir-tree, fir-tree, twigs hung.
Fun, fun, all the guys have fun.
Spun around with a rattle
We circled more merrily.
All the children with the rattle immediately became more cheerful.

New Year is a unique time of miracles, magic and wishes come true. And since children, due to their age, still firmly believe in all of the above, organizing a good holiday for them is as easy as shelling pears. All that is required from the parents is a desire, a little wasted time and a little imagination. And even then, instead of the latter, you can arm yourself with the ideas of this article!

Preparing for the New Year with the children

Waiting for the holiday is often better than the holiday itself. In Russian, this phrase has almost acquired the status of a catch phrase. And, despite the fact that in our case the holiday itself will be no less magical and bright, preparations for the New Year should not be neglected. Let the child look forward to the celebration, and start peeping under the tree even on the twentieth! And this is easy to achieve!

Viewing New Year's films

Even among adults, the New Year's holiday invariably evokes the association of one of the traditional films. For some, this is the good old "Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!" Who knows what your child will love!

Invite your baby to watch one famous film every day some time before the New Year. These can be fairy tales like The Nutcracker, The Snow Queen, The Snow Maiden, The Wizards or Three Nuts for Cinderella, or there can be films like the two above. In a word, whatever, if only it was connected with a snowy holiday.

You can even start a game with your child, suggesting, after watching, for each new film, make a card on which to give him a rating. In a few years, the baby will have a whole deck!

Poem for Santa Claus

Who among us has not memorized New Year's rhymes, so that then, climbing onto a chair, tell them to Grandfather Frost, or simply recite to the approving applause of our relatives.

A few days before the New Year, together with the baby, choose a verse that he will like, and then learn it, always in a playful manner.

Letter to Santa Claus

This activity is the most memorable and magical of all. We stock up on pencils, felt-tip pens, colored pens, sparkles, ribbons ... In a word, everything your heart desires!

Even if the child has not yet learned to write, this is not a big problem - take a small pen in yours and write under dictation. And even if it comes out clumsily. The kid will surely be delighted with the process, and Santa Claus will read it like that.

Having found out what the child would like to find under the Christmas tree, tell him that Santa Claus, even though he is busy, does not leave letters unanswered. Let the baby regularly look under the tree and look forward to the letter.

We decorate the house for the New Year with the children

What is the New Year without the appropriate attributes? The smell of spruce, the iridescent lights of garlands, the charm of Christmas balls, the blinding shine of the rain ... Let the baby take part in the process and decorate the home with you!

The most pleasant thing is to decorate the house with what is done with your own hands. Here it is just right to talk about home-made garlands made of foil or colored paper, and about multi-colored cotton balls suspended from the ceiling by a string, and about snowflakes on the windows. There are many ideas, you can't list all of them! The main thing is to do needlework hand in hand with the baby.

And, finally, where is the beauty of the forest, an integral attribute of every New Year. It does not matter whether the tree is alive or artificial - its main presence, which gives the feeling of a holiday. What to dress up with? Anything! Take your child to the store and buy those toys that he points to with his little finger.

You can act in a more original way and decorate the tree in the same way as the heroes of the Soviet cartoon "Winter in Prostokvashino" did. The guys dressed up with what they found in the attic. So why not hang on the tree those funny little things that inevitably accumulate in the house if there is a child in it?

Since every kid is an ardent lover of sweets, you can also decorate the tree with your favorite sweets by carefully hanging it by a string.

You can find new ideas for decorating the house and the Christmas tree for the New Year from our heading.

Advent calendar

This tradition, which came to us from abroad, is to keep track of the last days left before the New Year with the help of a handmade canvas containing a mini-gift and a task for the child. Thanks to Advent, the anticipation of the New Year is much more fun.

New Year: with children and for children!

So, the moment of truth is the eve of the long-awaited New Year. The time that passes in most families is always the same. The child, sitting in front of the TV, lazily switches channels while dad goes about his business, and mom conjures over the dishes in the kitchen. A little later, when the baby's eyes are already sticking together, either from the late time on the clock, or simply from boredom, he is finally allowed to look under the tree, unpack his gift and go to bed. Boring, isn't it?

Well, we challenge the routine and make the New Year's Eve truly festive! If your family is one of those who adhere to traditions and considers the New Year to be an exclusively family holiday, you will have to entertain the child yourself. But if you celebrate the holiday with friends and families with children, the New Year's program can be even more fun!

We offer you games and contests for New Year's Eve:

The little Christmas tree is cold in winter ...

If the tree stands in such a way that it is possible to lead round dances around it, this must be done! However, the traditional occupation can and should be somewhat diversified.

Let everyone, with the exception of the presenter, stand around the decorated Christmas tree in a circle, holding hands at the same time. Further away from the participants, it is required to follow the instructions of the presenter. For example, one clap at a time, everyone should go to the left and sing "It's cold for a little Christmas tree in winter," and two at a time, they should freeze in their original pose. If the leader stomps his foot, everyone is supposed to shut up and stop, and if he jumps in place, they turn around and go in the opposite direction.

Pantomime

On New Year's Eve, you and your child actively watched films on the relevant topic. Well, it's time to remember this again.

Prepare cards in advance, on each of which the name of the character of one of the viewed paintings will be written. The task of the players is to show the character with facial expressions and gestures, without using the power of speech.

Who guesses - shows the next word.

Mysterious gift

Despite the fact that the main gift for the child was bought long ago, packed and safely hidden in anticipation of its finest hour, it is not worth stopping at this. Until midnight has come, the baby can be presented with another gift, albeit insignificant and small (it can be, for example, a sweet present), but interesting!

Wrap the gift in plain wrapping paper, on top of which the New Year's riddle will be written, then make another layer, also with the riddle, and then a few more.

Let the child unfold layer by layer, overcoming "obstacles", and receive a well-deserved reward!

Where is without a mandarin?

This competition is worth holding if everyone has already sat down for a while and are bored. Participants are divided into two teams, and the task of each is to transfer a certain amount of tangerines from one place to another without the help of hands.

Naturally, the first team to do it wins.

Skillful chefs

For this competition, three volunteers are required to be selected from those present: New Year's Eve, Snegurochka and Santa Claus.

For a certain time (for example, five minutes), each of the participants must write on a piece of paper the names of New Year's dishes, which begin with the letters "H", "C" and "D", respectively.

The one with the longest list wins.

A chance to become a wizard: New Year's magic tricks for kids

New Year is the time for miracles. How can you make your child truly believe in it? It's simple - learn a couple of tricks and, as if by chance, demonstrate them with admiring ahs and oohs! And the child will be happy, and you will be pleased to feel like a magician!

Annoying thread

For this trick, you will need a little bit of acting, a basic pencil and about fifty centimeters of thread, the color of which will contrast with the color of your clothes.

Put a pencil in the pocket of your jacket, first winding a thread around it, and then using a needle, pull the end of the thread through the jacket outward. Ready!

At a convenient moment, ask your baby to remove the thread from your clothes, motivating this by the fact that your hands are busy, and enjoy his surprise. At the same time, of course, you will need to be surprised yourself - everything should be natural!

Tricky trick

Where can you go without card tricks? Invite the kid to choose any card from the deck, memorize it, and then put it back on top. After that, the deck is knocked down, and the lower part of it is placed on top.

Looking through the cards, the conceived one can be calculated accurately, if before that you remember which of the cards was at the bottom. Nothing complicated!

Mind reading

An unpretentious and funny trick that will really amaze your kid! As the facilitator, you ask your child to think of one of five numbers: ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty. Then he says it in your ear, and you ask the audience what number the kid has thought of, and you get the correct answer.

How to do it? Very simple! Agree in advance with everyone (except for the child, of course) that the number of words in the question that you ask will be equal to the number of dozens, including the one that the baby asked. Thus, if you ask "What is this number?", The audience will figure out that they should answer "thirty", and so on.

Having finished with the tricks, their secrets, of course, can be revealed if the child wants it. However, it is better to keep everything a secret - let New Year's Eve be amazing from "A" to "Z"!

How to give a child a present for the New Year?

It's almost midnight, and the child is increasingly looking under the tree in search of his present. What should parents do? Wait until the chimes strike and solemnly present the baby with his present? No no and one more time no! You also need to be able to give gifts. Let's consider several original options.

Who's there?

The most common and logical way out is to leave a gift under the tree. But since the baby walks around the bush all the time, distracting him in order to discreetly place a bright bundle is a difficult task.

A great alternative is to leave the gift outside the front door and then ring it. For persuasiveness, the coveted box can be sprinkled with a handful of snow, and wet footprints can be left on the staircase steps. The most important thing is to distract the baby so that he does not notice that one of the relatives is absent for a minute or two.

If you need proof

You still managed to distract the child's attention for a few minutes and put the gift under the tree? In this case, be sure to leave something so that the kid does not doubt that it was Santa Claus who brought the gift.

It can be an unusual shape of a button lying next to the box, a few red woolen threads, or again a small handful of snow. When the baby unfolds the gift, explain to him that Santa Claus lost a button and threads, caught on a Christmas tree, and snow could accidentally chill off his collar.

Flying by

If you are telling your child that Santa Claus moves in a reindeer sleigh, the following option will do.

While one of the adults distracts the baby, open the window wide open, crush the windowsill with snow and leave a gift on it. Let the child think that, flying past your window, Santa Claus left a gift on the windowsill, and then flew away to other children.

To hot countries!

In case the family celebrates the New Year at the resort and a coniferous beauty, as well as a handful of snow, is rather problematic to find, do the following. Wrap the gift well, wrap it in a beautiful bag and hide it in the freezer. You should get it right before the presentation - so the kid will be glad that even far from home you can get a real northern gift from Santa Claus!

Funny games and contests, magic tricks, original ways to present the baby with a long-awaited present and other ideas of the article are nothing more than advice, and in no case should you be limited to them. Unleash your imagination, and hurry to bring to life everything that it tells you! A fabulous New Year for you and your children!

The New Year for children is, first of all, a fairy tale, which means that wonderful, kind and pleasant music should sound like in a real fairy tale on the New Year's party. Muzportal "Zaitsev.net" is glad to offer its little friends the best New Year's gift - a collection of the brightest music for the New Year 2015 for children. Parents can be calm - the evening will be a success, because with your favorite songs from children's cartoons and films, your kids will meet the coming year cheerful and cheerful. It is convenient to organize active contests and various games to the groovy music, so the collection is suitable not only for a home holiday, but also for a matinee in kindergarten and school.

How to download the collection "Music for the New Year 2015 for children"?

By the way, if you don't have time to download the collection to your personal computer, you can listen to familiar children's melodies online. Absolutely all compositions on the portal are in a convenient and easy-to-read MP3 format. Well, if you decide to download the collection, then you can do it at any time and completely free of charge. From the songs presented in it, you can quickly and easily create your own holiday collection for children.

What I have collected today is suitable for a situation when several families with children gather in one apartment to celebrate the New Year. You must agree that some part of the evening must be devoted to little guests.

If adults participate, everything will be even more fun! A real family holiday!

What we have?

All children are of different ages, but with the same desire to have fun. There will be no invited Santa Claus (or is it a 5-minute formality), and you have not been able to bring up your own in the team.

There is no place in the apartment for very active games, you did not have time to make complex props for games.

Well? Fits? Read on!

I will give New Year's contests for children in thematic blocks. Choose the appropriate options, draw up a program taking into account the alternation of mobile and table contests.

From these scripts and selections, you can add contests to your program:

And further!

Add a few contests for toddlers to the script and you have a complete program!

Lotteries and fortune-telling

From experience, both children and adults always like it. Apparently, everyone is interested in looking into the future and testing their luck.

Choice of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden

We put notes in the capsules from the kinders (you can just paper rolls in a bag). All participants of the feast are pulling! On one note "Santa Claus", on the other - "Snow Maiden". All others can be empty, but it is better to distribute New Year's roles to all guests: snowflakes (there may be 20), Grandma Winter, Snow Queen, Snowman and so on. If Santa Claus is 2 years old, and Snegurochka is 55, you have succeeded :-)!

Now we announce the first New Year's dance of the lucky ones! Do not forget to put the necessary attributes on them and take a picture at the Christmas tree.

Predicting Success

Everyone is pleased to know that only success awaits in the future. Therefore, we put in a hat the names of all those present, written on pieces of paper, and voice questions like these:

- Who will be the best student in the new year? (pulling a piece of paper ...)

- Kate! (well, or grandmother Tanya ...)

  • Who will make the great discovery?
  • Who will find the treasure?
  • Who will win the lottery?
  • Who will receive the most gifts?
  • Who will have the most good news in the new year?
  • Who will travel a lot?
  • Who will be in for the biggest surprise in 2015?
  • Who will be the most successful at work (school)?
  • Who will be the most athletic in the new year?
  • Who will be the healthiest?
  • Who will become famous?
  • Who's Biggest Dream Come True?

What's in the black box ...

Now we will all be psychics. Put a box on a chair in the center of the room (you can use it from under the shoes), and offer to guess what is there. Allow guests to walk up to the box, make movements with their hands, copying the magicians.

We begin to accept one answer from each person present. Children naturally assume toys, adults whatever.

You can put a really valuable item in the box that will suit any gender and age (a cup with the symbol of the year, for example), or you can use a cracker. Let everyone get confetti for their work :-). By the way, now there are crackers, from which 100-dollar bills fly out.

New Year's word ...

Prepare a bunch of little prizes (candy, chocolate medals, gum, calendars).

Can be carried out at the table: Look under your plates! Each of you has one letter! " (write letters in advance on cards)

So that's it. Now we ask you to name the "New Year" words for each of these letters. For every word - a PRIZE!

But to the one who will put together the word "Snow Maiden" from letters, we give something more substantial.

  • WITH- snow, icicles, snowflakes, snowballs, candles
  • N- new year, outfit
  • E- spruce
  • G- guests, garland
  • Have- luck, food, decoration,
  • R- practical jokes,
  • O- Olivie
  • H- watch
  • TO- confetti, calendar, clown, karaoke, costume
  • A- applause, scent, angel, actor

You can name the dishes that are on the New Year's table, fairy-tale characters in which guests are dressed, drinks, games, natural phenomena, and so on.

Who quickly?

Chiming clock

Divide children and adults into 2 teams. We give everyone decorations for the Christmas tree and clothespins. Toys, snowflakes and garlands must be hung on ... one of the team members. Let him spread his fingers and shine like a Christmas tree!

Yes! You can also hold a garland in your teeth.

Turn on the recording with the chiming clock (on YouTube)! Whoever gets the funniest Christmas tree in 1 minute while the recording is in progress wins!

Take the gift

Two participants. Two boxes (maybe from shoes) with prizes, wrapped in nice paper. Tie a ribbon (2 - 2.5 m) to each box, the other end to a pencil.

We put the participants on one line, put pencils in their hands. 1-2-3! We start winding the tape around the pencil. The one who does it faster takes the prize.

You can also joke. Let the child and the adult compete. We put something very light in the "children's" box, and in the "adult" - dumbbell... Let it reel! 🙂

Making a snowman ... together!

We need softened plasticine. Two participants sit side by side at the table, you can hug. The left hand of one participant and the right hand of the other should act as if they are the hands of one person.

How difficult it is ... Try to pinch off a piece of plasticine, roll three balls between your palms (remember, two people are involved), then stick a carrot and eyes.

Let there be adults and children in each pair, it's more fun.

Grab

It is somewhat like playing with chairs, when someone who is gaping has nowhere to sit. Only no chairs are needed - just a small table or stool with a tray on which are carnival accessories - spouts, glasses, wigs, caps. The one who did not get the decoration by the end of the sounding of the music drops out. Naturally, the accessory needs not only to have time to grab, but also to put on. For the second round, we put everything on a stool again, continue until 1 winner is revealed.

Balloon contests

I will not repeat myself, as I have already written an article. In general, you can take them as a basis and conduct all children's New Year's contests only with balls.

Throwers, knocks, hitters 🙂

Here intelligence is not needed, and it is quite possible to entertain guests from 3 to 103.

From experience, such competitions sometimes turn out to be very reckless. It is difficult to guess what exactly your guests will like, I will just list the options, and you will decide on the available props and set aside a place for the game.

  • if there is any version of darts (magnetic, balls with Velcro), feel free to assign a prize to the most accurate one, interest in the competition will be sure
  • pins or plastic bottles filled with beans, peas or water are fun to knock down with a rubber ball at any age. The prize for winning the New Year's bowling!
  • throwing "snowballs" from the newspaper into the basket (what if someone has a score of 10 out of 10?). Distance - 2 meters!

Blindfold!

A standard set of comic contests, but the New Year is always successful.

Here are 3 options:

  • to cut the prize off the ribbon (it is more fun if the rope is not tied to the cabinets, but given in the hands of two guests - let them change the height after the player has ceased to see the target.
  • sticking a plasticine nose to a drawn snowman is also not so easy (we blindfold, untwist it, let the participant see a poster with a picture)
  • build a pyramid of plastic cups. Before blindfolding, we show the "drawing" of the tower - 4 inverted cups at the base, then three, two, one on top. The fastest and most accurate builder wins

Comic concert!

We collect all music, circus and dance competitions here.

Noise Orchestra

Great fun for a mixed group of adults and children from 2 to 12 years old. ...

Poetic horoscope!

We remember what Symbols of the Year are in the horoscope, let the guests name their own. If there are 2 dogs or 3 snakes, joint performance is allowed.

Exercise: read Mikhalkov's poem

They say on New Year's Eve
Whatever you want -
Everything will always happen
Everything always comes true

how… rat, pig, dragon, snake, cat, dog, bull, tiger, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster!

Neon show

To be honest, it was unexpectedly effective even for me, although I came up with this idea and implemented it. For seven children who, together with adults, celebrated the New Year, I bought neon glowing accessories. Previously, these were only bracelets, now there are glasses, beads, jewelry on the head, ears and sticks. By the way, I bought earrings for myself.

So ... I gathered the children in a separate room and dressed everyone, from toddlers to teenagers, in these jewelry (bracelets for arms and legs can be used):

Then I turned on "Jingle Bells" in the fatal version, put out the lights in the room and turned on all the glowing children. It was very cool, as the children started jumping and spinning, neon decorations seemed to fill the whole space. I'll tell you, the light shows were no worse than those for which a lot of money is paid at corporate parties :-). All these accessories are sold in almost all stores with festive tinsel.

Dance "Train" + family disco

This is an excuse to distract all guests from eating salads. We invite adults and children, we build according to their height and ask them to put their hands on the waist of the previous dancer. This picture touches me. A long, long teenager can stand in front, behind him all the grandparents, "the last trailer" - a two-year-old baby. The video is great, don't forget to shoot.

I must say that the locomotive disintegrates rather quickly, but for us this is also good, since the guests are already ready to dance a little. It's boring to trample under one long song at a family party, so we turn on the following cuts from hits one by one (copy the link): http://muzofon.com/search/music%20for%20contests.

New Year's karaoke (battle of choirs)

As a rule, karaoke sites have a selection of winter songs. If not, add them to your favorites folder in advance so as not to search for these songs on New Year's Eve:

  • "A Christmas tree was born in the forest, it grew in the forest ..."
  • "The ceiling is icy, the door is creaky."
  • "Three white horses"
  • "It's cold for a little Christmas tree in winter"
  • "Blue frost"
  • "Snow is falling"
  • "Five minutes":
  • "Song about bears"

Sites with online karaoke have sections of New Year's songs; you do not need to search for each separately.

Not everyone likes to sing solo, so you'll have four nominations: children's choir, female choir, male, mixed.

Obstacle dance

All guests stand on the right side of the room. We need plastic cups again. We build from them a low fence (2 floors), which guests can easily overcome, dancing, moving to the left side of the room.

We build on one more "floor". Everyone crosses the wall again, making dance moves. We build in this way until the participants need to jump. The most agile wins a prize!

If there are no stanak, we pull the rope (held by two people) at a height of 20, 30, 40, 50 cm from the floor, and so on.

Phototests

You will laugh twice. During the process itself and after a while, when you get ready-made pictures.

We use New Year's accessories, do not skimp on facial expressions and gestures!

For each guest you come up with a casting with photo tests for the role:

  • the kindest Santa Claus
  • the most greedy Santa Claus
  • the most beautiful Snow Maiden
  • the most sleepy Snow Maiden
  • the most overeating guest
  • the happiest guest
  • the most cunning Baba Yaga
  • the most evil Kashchei
  • the strongest hero
  • the most capricious princess
  • the biggest snowflake
  • etc…

Little things from Santa Claus

In Europe, this entertainment is called "Secret Santa", but we are patriots, we have our wonderful grandpa. I came up with such a legend ... Santa Claus walked with gifts through the forest, caught on a branch, but slightly tore the bag. Large gifts remained in the bag, but small ones fell out. We picked them up and now we will present them to all guests!

We buy small and pleasant little things in advance and wrap them in opaque wrapping paper. Personally, to speed up the process, I just put a souvenir in a square piece of paper, shape it into a bag and tie it with a ribbon. I have been shopping all December - 2-3 items with each shopping basket in the store. By the end of the month, I have a whole bag of kinders, liquid soap in the form of animal figurines, candles, frames, calendars, chocolate hares, key chains and flashlights.

You ask "Who is this gift for?" You can pull pieces of paper out of the hat, but my son likes to appoint the lucky one himself: "Uncle Zhenya!" We return the gift, wait for him to demonstrate to everyone the lost trifle from Santa Claus, then another question "To whom is this gift?" Every time I am surprised with what trepidation the guests are waiting for these gifts ... Even adults :-).

Let's laugh and think

If you have a lot of adults at the party, buy ready-made selections with tasks on cards.

Honestly, I accidentally opened these wonderful cards with tasks at a ridiculous price. The real host entertained us, but I remembered the box with the tasks ... They laughed until hiccups, some words from related languages sound too funny for the Russian ear. Actually, they had to be guessed (the options were proposed).

"Zashkodnik"- 120 double-sided cards. Well, for example, "T-shirt" in translation from Bulgarian is who? Mom, cousin or grandmother? Or what should you imagine if the word in Czech sounds like "hammer"? And there are also all sorts of stinks, battles and obscurity (these are all decent words in translation).

What else happens?

  • "Erundopel"- a collection of rare words of the Russian language (so rare that even from the proposed options it is difficult to choose the correct one to explain the meaning)
  • "Why meter"- 120 questions with answers, such as "Why is a camel depicted on the flag of the Chelyabinsk region?"
  • "Quote Meter"- 120 cards on which you will be asked to end a quote from a great person
  • "Personometer"- 120 name cards. You just need to remember and choose the correct answer: Rabindranath Tagore is WHO?

The sets are available in bookstores in the "Entertainment" section.

Every time with the onset of winter, a feeling of expectation of the most fabulous and brightest holiday - the New Year - involuntarily arises in the soul of each of us. At the end of December, a carefree festive mood spreads literally everywhere with incredible speed: beautifully decorated shop windows begin to wink at each other with shining lights; Christmas trees, abundantly strewn with multi-colored sparkling toys, cause indescribable delight in children and adults; from houses and street cafes mouth-watering aromas of spicy New Year's pastries with cinnamon and almonds are heard. But the greatest joy to the kids is, of course, the magic gifts from Santa Claus. To make this wonderful winter holiday even more joyful and fun for children, adults come up with a variety of contests for the New Year 2015 for children. We bring to your attention several options for holding festive children's games and contests.

Floating snowflakes

This competition is perhaps the most popular.

Note! It is not difficult to organize it.

To carry it out, you only need ordinary medical cotton wool and the desire and activity of kids.

Make small fluffy little white lumps out of cotton wool, vaguely resembling snowflakes. Give the resulting cotton balls to all the kids who want to take part in the competition. At the command of the Leader, each child begins to blow from below on his own snow-white ball. Explain the main condition of the competition to the children in advance: you need to try to keep the cotton snowflake floating in the air for as long as possible (like a real one). The child who can keep the cotton ball floating in the air for the longest time becomes the winner. A prize is awarded to him!

"Sculpt" snowballs

Give the children thin sheets of white paper. Alternatively, you can distribute three leaves to each participant in this competition. On command, the guys must quickly crumple the sheets, trying to give them a round shape, like a real snowball. The winner is the smartest participant, who "blinded" three snowballs faster than others. The winner is awarded a prize and all the paper snowballs are piled up for the next competition.

Snow basketball

What kind of Christmas trees are

Kids are invited to stand in a circle, holding each other's hands. The presenter (Santa Claus or Snow Maiden) at this time is in the center and reminds the children that different Christmas trees grow in the forest: high, low, wide, thin. As soon as the presenter pronounces the word "high", the guys should raise their hands together. If he says "low" - they should squat with their hands down. Hearing the word "wide" - children should, holding hands, make the circle wide, and if the word "thin" is heard, the kids need to narrow the circle as much as possible.

Note! To make it more fun, the Leader tries to confuse the children a little.

Magic hoops

The competition is simple, but quite entertaining. A hoop (plastic or metal) is distributed to several participants. Before the start of the competition, the Leader must explain the rules to the children. There are several competition options:

  1. Rotation of the hoop around the waist or on the arm. A child whose hoop spins longer than others (without falling or sliding) will be the winner.
  2. The competing guys are invited to push the hoop forward in a straight line on command. Whose hoop rolls on until it falls, that one is the winner.
  3. For this version of the competition, it will be necessary to twist the hoop around its axis with the fingers of one hand so that it begins to rotate like a "top". The winner is the participant whose hoop will spin longer.

Pop the balloon

For the competition, it is necessary to inflate colorful balloons in advance. The number of participants is determined by the number of balls prepared. A balloon is placed in front of each child who wishes to participate in the competition at a distance of approximately five steps. Children are previously blindfolded with special bandages (scarves, handkerchiefs). As soon as the signal sounds, they, with blindfolds on their eyes, must go to their ball in order to then crush it with their foot. The winner is the one who managed to do it.

Note! It will be more fun if, after you blindfold the eyes of the children, you remove the balloons.

Take the gift

Two active participants are selected. Symbolic prizes are placed in two pre-prepared boxes, preferably of the same size (it is possible from under the shoes). Each of these boxes, wrapped in beautiful gift paper, is tied with a ribbon two and a half meters long. Attach the other end of the ribbon to the pencil. Competitors must stand in one line. They are given a pencil with a ribbon attached to it. On the go-ahead of the Leader, the children-participants begin to wind the ribbons around the pencils. The one who quickly pulls his box, deservedly takes the prize.

Note! To make it more interesting, you can choose for the competition a child and an adult, dressed up, for example, in a Barmaley costume.

Put a prize (something light) in a children's box, and a heavy dumbbell in an adult box. Such a competition will be more fun and interesting for children! Children can take part in it in turn - in this case, each kid will go home not only in a good mood, but also with a prize.

Note! Make sure that the New Year contests are not too long and boring.

Remember that little ones still do not know how to focus their attention on one thing for a long time.
